President Trump on Wednesday said his "single biggest disappointment" is that churches can't meet during the COVID-19 pandemic and indicated it's one reason he considered opening the country before Easter.

“I want to thank Democrats and Republicans for coming together and putting America first," Trump said. "We got hit by the invisible enemy and we got hit hard," he added. "I think we are going to have a tremendous rebound.”

"God is in control" is a cliché that is common among Christians these days. This means different things to different people. On one side of the spectrum, people believe that no matter what happens, great or small, God is in control of every small detail. On the other side of the spectrum, people believe that God is in control, but there is free will to make decisions and experience the consequences of those decisions-good, bad, or indifferent.
