National Day of Prayer

Text of President Trump's Remarks at the Ceremony Honoring the National Day of Prayer at the White House

Thursday, May 7, 2020

(Excerpt)

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. Please. Thank you. Be seated, please. And, Melania, thank you very much, on the second anniversary of the BE BEST Initiative. You've done a fantastic job. And everybody appreciates it. But I want to - (applause) - thank you. And I want to thank you, on behalf of the entire nation, for all that you do for America's children and on fighting the drug addiction problem that we have in this country. It's all over the world. But I want to thank you very much. Great job you do. You work so hard.

On this National Day of Prayer, America is engaged in a fierce battle against a very terrible disease. Throughout our history, in times of challenge, our people have always called upon the gift of faith, the blessing of belief, the power of prayer, and the eternal glory of God.

I ask all Americans to join their voices and their hearts in spiritual union as we ask our Lord in Heaven for strength and solace, for courage and comfort, for hope and healing, for recovery and for renewal.

In recent days and weeks, our country has endured a grave hardship. We pray for every family stricken with grief and devastated with a tragic loss. We pray for the doctors, the nurses, and first responders waging war against the invisible enemy. We pray for the scientists and researchers, who pioneer treatments, that they find therapies and vaccines and that they find them soon. We pray for the frontline workers keeping our nation fed, nourished, and safe and secure. May God watch over them all.

We are honored to have with us today our amazing Vice President, Mike Pence, and his wonderful wife, Karen. Great friends of our nation and great friends of mine and Melania's. And somebody is doing an incredible job, not only as Vice President, but as heading the task force, which has come up with so many solutions and ideas and things that we didn't even think about two months ago.

We're also profoundly grateful to be joined by many faith leaders who are helping to care for our neighbors in their hour of need. Thank you all for providing meals to families, medical supplies to hospitals, and for providing spiritual strength and encouragement to your communities. You're very important people, very respected people, and very much loved people.

In every part of our country, we have seen the Grace of God through the love and devotion of our fellow citizens. As Scripture assures us, "The Lord your God is not [in] your midst, a mighty one who will save." And I think it's - I think it's so true. Think of that: "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save."

We have been reminded once again that God has blessed our land with heroes of faith.

. . . In every battle against poverty, against disease, against tyranny and evil, we have placed our loyalty in each other and our trust in God. And we have prevailed. We will continue to prevail. We will prevail again. We will vanquish the virus. We will defeat the enemy. We will not fail.

So, once more, we call upon our Creator to guide us through these very complex steps, protect our people, rebuild our communities, and restore our beloved nation to even greater heights. We will never forget, however, those that have been lost, those incredible souls, and the families of those souls that are going through so much. We will never forget you. We will be there for you.

May God continue to strengthen our hearts and sustain our souls. May God continue to shed His divine grace upon this land. And may God forever bless the United States of America.

COVID-19 at the White House

COVID-19 at the White House

1. Trump military valet has coronavirus; president again tests negative - Stars and Stripes

A member of the military serving as one of President Donald Trump's valets has tested positive for the coronavirus, the White House said Thursday. It said Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have since tested negative for the virus and "remain in good health."

It marked the latest coronavirus scare for the president, and the first known instance where a person who has come in close proximity to the president has tested positive since several people present at his private Florida club were diagnosed with COVID-19 in early March. The person tested positive on Wednesday, the White House said.

The White House was moving to shore up its protection protocols to protect the nation's political leaders. Trump said that some staffers who interact with him closely would now be tested daily. Pence told reporters that both he and Trump would now be tested daily as well.

Trump, 73, said the incident was a bit concerning. "It's a little bit strange but it's one of those things," he told reporters. "As I said, you know, I said yesterday, governor, all people are warriors in this country. Right now we're all warriors." (Read more)

2. Katie Miller, Pence spokeswoman, tests positive for coronavirus - POLITICO

Katie Miller's positive diagnosis raises the risk that, through both her and her husband's daily work, a large swath of the West Wing's senior aides may also have been exposed to the novel coronavirus.

"She's a wonderful young woman, Katie, she tested very good for a long period of time," President Donald Trump said on Friday during a meeting with congressional Republicans at the White House. "And then all of the sudden today she tested positive. She hasn't come into contact with me. She's spent some time with the vice president."

"This is why the whole concept of tests aren't necessarily great," the president continued. "The tests are perfect, but something can happen between a test where it's good and then something happens and all of the sudden. She was tested very recently and tested negative, and then today I guess for some reason she tested positive. So Mike knows about it and Mike has done what he has to do. I think he is on an airplane, going to some far away place, but you'll be able to ask him later on. But they've taken all of the necessary precautions. I understand Mike has been tested, vice president, and he tested negative." (Read more)

3. 11 Secret Service employees infected with coronavirus, 60 in self-quarantine- Yahoo News

At least 11 U.S. Secret Service employees were reported to be infected with the coronavirus and about 60 other staffers were in self-quarantine, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

The person who is not authorized to comment publicly declined to breakdown the numbers of civilian versus agent infections. The assignment locations of the sick employees also were not identified.

The service, which safeguards the country's financial systems and provides personal protection for the president, vice president and their families, along with visiting heads of state, has 7,600 employees. Some of the more than 3,000 agents work in close proximity to those they protect.

. . . On Thursday, the White House disclosed that a military valet to President Donald Trump also tested positive for the virus.

The developments involving the valet and Pence staffer prompted the White House to put in place additional protective measures.

Trump said White House aides will be tested for the virus daily instead of weekly. He said the valet was in the room with him on Tuesday, the day he began exhibiting symptoms, but that he did not recall any direct contact with him.

The president said he has been tested twice in recent days and that both tests came back negative. (Read more)

4. Trump to be tested for coronavirus on a daily basis - Israel National News

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he will be tested for coronavirus on a daily basis after a military member who serves as his valet tested positive.

"So, we test once a week. Now we're going to go testing once a day," Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with the governor of Texas on Thursday, according to The Hill. "But even when you test once a day, somebody could - something happens where they catch something."

The President said the daily testing regimen would apply to Vice President Mike Pence and certain high-level White House officials as well.

Trump told reporters he was not in regular contact with the valet who tested positive, and the White House has said the President remains in "good health." (Read more)

- Father God, we take note that, just as this virus was unleashed to sweep through the White House, certain speakers had been welcomed to participate on Thursday inside the Rose Garden who do not worship You and name You as Savior and Lord.

Father God, Your Word also commands us to worship You and You, only, in Spirit and in Truth; and to flee from all other false idols.

Lord God, we ask You to FORGIVE whoever it was that planned that program for allowing other 'gods' to move inside the gate of the White House. We cancel all words of the speakers we are citing, by the Blood of Jesus; and we ask You to now release Your Holy Angels to move in as a "clean up" crew and to remove all the demonic debris that remains.

Thank You, Merciful God, for if we ask, in repentance, You answer. In Your name, we pull back the "welcome mat" that was extended to those who "preach" in error, and we thank YOU, Holy One, for hearing our prayer. Please dear Lord, keep EVERYONE who works inside the White House, SAFE AND SOUND. In Your Name, we offer this prayer, amen.

"You shall have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3)

News from Israel

Ambassador Friedman details Trump land plan

Regarding the construction freeze you mentioned - are there any localities that cannot develop during these four years? Because, as far as I can see, the freeze doesn't apply to the existing localities, only to open areas.

"Yes, you're mostly correct. There are three categories of territory in Area C: There's the area that is populated by Jewish communities and sovereignty allows these communities to grow significantly. That's the majority - let's call that 97% of the population - and in those areas, there's no restriction on growth. For example, Ariel will be the same as Tel Aviv [there will be no restriction]. So that's category number one.

"Category No. 2 is the half of Area C that will be reserved for the Palestinians [to be reserved for a Palestinian state for the allotted four years], and there will be no building there - from either side - Israelis or Palestinians.

"Then there's a third category, called the 'enclaves' or the 'bubbles.' This is 3%, the Jewish communities that are remote. And so, what happens to them is, Israel declares sovereignty over those communities, but they don't expand - they can expand up but they can't expand out. So as to the vast vast majority of settlements, the rules would be the same as in the Green Line." (Israel Hayom)

> > > Read more here.

- Heavenly Father, we pray that any plan of this nation, the nation of Israel, or any of the nations that is not according to Your will, that you would gently prevent from being implemented. We ask your blessing upon Israel and all the nations of the earth. Let Jerusalem be a delight and a joy, that all would come to Your holy mountain to worship You.

"The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel" (Joel 3:16).

(Please see also:)

- "For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land" (Joel 3:1-2).

The flu and the coup

The coup is not just against Donald Trump as president, it is against you. You. Democrat, Republican, Independent, Christian, Jew, Black, White, Latino, anyone who is an American. Those who support the coup, just do not understand that it is also against them. They are the pawns in an attempt to complete the remaking of America into a tyrannical society. They are those who believe the narratives of the left and will do their dirty work at the ballot box or anywhere else. But if they succeed, they will also bear the brunt of the decision, the consequence of giving up freedom for emotional nonsense issues, like Esau giving up his birthright for a bowl of stew. We are in the throes of a coup. Take heed.

When the immediate past president said that his goal was to "remake America," he used words that most people could embrace according to how those words fit their beliefs. He said in his inaugural address on January 20, 2009, "The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do."

Do, he did. Shovel ready jobs were government jobs. Health care became expensive socialist healthcare. His science was driven by leftist political agendas. His transformation of higher education resulted in high-interest government loans that created the largest debt for college graduates in the history of mankind. His, however, was not the beginning nor the end of the American coup. He spied on the American people. When the American people rejected his successor, he authorized spying on a duly elected president to try to end the presidency of Donald Trump before it started. Accusations of Russian collusion; Ukrainian quid pro quo; now murdering Americans with COVID-19. What is next?

Using the COVID-19 "crisis," leftist governors and politicians are tightening the screws on Americans. For example, drones are being used to warn people on "social distancing," temperature taking, and other spying. People are encouraged to turn others in if they are not wearing a mask. It's over the top. These lockdowns are just the preview if we do not demand that after the threat, the intrusive tyrannical measures be outlawed. Conspiracy theories abound, causing fear as the lever against freedom. Isaiah 8:12 says, "Say not, A conspiracy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear you their threats, nor be afraid." Discernment, clear minds, and reasonable and responsible actions by all of us working together will defeat this flu, but courage, vigilance and aggressive accountability will be needed to defeat the coup.

Operation Restoration

BULLETIN!! PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW NUMBER AND ACCESS CODE:

712-770-5350
150411#

Once each week, on Sunday mornings and for 24 hours, join with others in OPERATION RESTORATION . . .

"Operation Restoration"

This initiative is based upon the Move of the Spirit that was launched last month during Operation Refiner's Fire. The LORD has shown us that He has used those fires to ignite the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT to visit our people, which He now yearns to keep burning among our people until the day of His return!

"Operation Restoration" is based on the promise of Scripture, recorded in
2 Chronicles 7:14,15.

It is written:

. . . "and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."

This is a weekly Solemn Assembly, where saints can feel free to gather each Sunday, to offer prayers of repentance before our Lord, for the many sins our nation has committed before Him.

Abba so desires to hear our prayers . . . He is just waiting to heal us!

You can join us, any Sunday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST by calling:

712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

Each week, our conference line for Operation Restoration will remain open until Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.EST -- allowing for 24 hours of nonstop prayer before our King of Kings, that He might, indeed, "heal our land." Amen.
