Stupidocrisy: The Unvarnished Truth

After honoring those who were killed in the horrible racist attack in Buffalo and listing several schedule items at her first press briefing as White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre announced, “I am obviously acutely aware that my presence at this podium represents a few firsts. I am a Black, gay, immigrant woman, the first of all three of those to hold this position.” Criticizing such a person carries great risk, but Jean-Pierre represents exactly what is wrong with the Biden Administration. It’s not about your origin, race or gender, or sex life. It seems that everything in the media and Democratic Party politics these days is valued through a lens of agendas rather than truth, or even a level of competency.
First question: “Do you view your primary role here as speaking for the President and promoting his interests? Or are you committed to providing the unvarnished truth to the American people so that they know what their government is doing on their behalf?” ANSWER FROM MS. JEAN-PIERRE: “I actually think that’s hand in hand. I don’t think that there is any separation to that. As I said at the end of my opening here, the President believes in truth and transparency. That’s what he expects from us. Clearly, we are here to talk about his platform and what he is doing to deliver for the American people. But he wants to make sure we’re doing this in a transparent way, in a truthful way, and an honest way.” That she can say with a straight face that there is no separation between Biden promoting his interests and the unvarnished truth is astonishing. Left-wing Lies (The Buffalo Shooter)

The Biden Administration, progressive politicians and the media are in full-throated attack mode. They are using the Buffalo killer to smear Tucker Carlson, Fox News, half the country and normal conservatism as "racists" and "beyond the pale." Rolling Stone identified the killer as "a mainstream Republican." It's obscene. It's race baiting.
The evil killer in Buffalo obviously hated blacks and Jews. In addition, according to his own manifesto he also hated Fox News, and adamantly rejected the "conservative" label. His deranged worldview is far more complicated than what the media and liberal politicians are suggesting.
The Buffalo killer claims to have been inspired by the insane man who attacked a mosque in New Zealand. That man described himself as an "eco-fascist." So did the racist murderer in El Paso. Here's how the Buffalo killer describes himself in his manifesto:
"When I was 12 I was deep into communist ideology. . . On the political compass [now] I fall in the mild-moderate authoritarian left category. . . But you can call me an ethno-nationalist eco-fascist national socialist if you want, I wouldn't disagree with you."
It is obvious to any rational person that this killer has NOTHING to do with the millions of Americans who want secure borders.
He has NOTHING to do with the millions of Americans who want the poison of critical race theory out of our schools.
He has NOTHING to do with the millions of Americans who believe that skin color should be the least important thing about us.
He has NOTHING to do with the millions of Americans who are sick and tired of politicians trying to divide us by race to gain political power.
The overwhelming majority of Americans of all races reject racial hatred. We were horrified by the attack by a bigot on families at a Christmas parade. We are horrified by the attack in Buffalo against our black fellow Americans.
Most of us want to live in peace in a free country. We are sick and tired of left-wing politicians trying to divide us by race, income and faith in order to distract us from their disastrous socialist policies.

Israel to Join US in Surrendering Health Authority to WHO

In three days, the World Health Organization will vote on resolutions that will give them emergency powers over any country they choose. The Biden administration initiated the measures but kept them under wraps until just a few weeks ago when the vote was a foregone conclusion. It was recently revealed that Israel fell into lockstep, backing the measure, though one exceptional politician has become the voice of reason in a government that has run amok.
The World Health Assembly (WHA), the World Health Organization’s (WHO) governing legislative body, will be voting on Provisional agenda item 16.2 in Geneva on May 22. The agenda, described by the WHO under the headline “Strengthening WHO preparedness for and response to health emergencies,” the new agenda would give them the power to unilaterally declare a health emergency in any country, thereby giving them emergency powers. The Biden administration gave these proposed amendments to the WHO on January 18. No one knew this until April 12, less than a month ago. If passed, the resolutions will go into effect in November.
These amendments will empower WHO’s Director-General to declare health emergencies or crises in any nation and do so unilaterally and against the opposition of the target nation. The Director-General will be able to declare these health crises based merely on his personal opinion or consideration that there is a potential or possible threat to other nations.
These regulations are a “binding instrument of international law.” UN member states can be required by law to obey or acquiesce to them. Under the new regulations, WHO will not be required to consult with the identified nation beforehand to “verify” the event before taking action.
In a covert manner similar to what happened in the US, the Israeli government intends to support Provisional agenda item 16.2 as well. The only politician willing to speak out against joining in is Moshe Feiglin.
“This agenda has already been decided,” Feiglin told Israel365 News. “There won’t be any debate or decision process. What has been discussed and said already is only the tip of the iceberg. The actual decision will be far more extreme in removing the rights of the individuals. This decision has nothing to do with world health, and if you read the resolution itself, it is clear that it deals exclusively with the transfer of power. Justice Thomas's Warning

You may have missed Justice Clarence Thomas's extraordinary warning last week that the Supreme Court is under attack and may never recover. Thomas said that the unprecedented leak of a draft opinion was "tremendously bad," adding, "I wonder how long we're going to have these institutions [like the Supreme Court] at the rate we're undermining them."
He went on to say that the trust between the justices has been shattered. "Now that trust is gone forever," adding that the court is fundamentally changed with every justice "looking over their shoulder."
Thomas also mocked the left's clear campaign of intimidation against the conservative justices, calling it a "temper tantrum."
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, however, couldn't care less about the damage to the high court. During an interview on CNN yesterday, Pelosi blasted Justice Thomas and the court's other conservatives as "dangerous to freedom." That's rich!
For decades, the left had a majority on the Supreme Court, and liberal justices repeatedly attacked the freedoms expressly stated in the Constitution.
Religious liberty has been under constant attack by the left. The freedom of speech is regularly attacked by the left. The right to have a firearm to protect your family is always hanging by a thread because of attacks from the left.
Liberal justices have mocked the idea that they should be limited or restrained by the words of the Constitution. Worse, they have cited international law and the constitutions of other countries for guidance. Apparently, the words of Madison, Adams, Hamilton, Jefferson and other Founding Fathers aren't good enough for liberal justices.
All of this, of course, points to the important elections coming up in a few months. There's only one thing standing in the way of progressive demands to expand the number of justices on the Supreme Court and then ramming through more left-wing activists like Ketanji Brown Jackson to finish the socialist takeover of America.
On a good day, Senate liberals only have 50 senators on their side. But on this issue, Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have been reluctant to repeal the extended debate provision in the Senate, known as the filibuster. But two more progressive votes could give Schumer the majority he needs to eliminate the filibuster.
That's how precarious the position of the country we love is today.

Win or lose, Trump’s presence in the 2022 GOP primaries is bolstering the Republican Party

There is no question that without former President Donald Trump’s endorsement, Dr. Mehmet Oz would not be locked in a too close to call race with Dave McCormick for the Republican nomination for Senate in Pennsylvania in 2022. The race has yet to be called with ballots still coming in and a mandatory recount to follow should the margin of victory be 0.5 percent or less.
Still, Trump’s presence in this race cannot be understated, after the former president staged a rally for Oz in Westmoreland County on May 6, generating momentum — and lots of interest — in the race.
Republican turnout in the Pennsylvania Senate Republican Primary was more than 1.3 million and counting as of this writing. In the Democratic primary it was 1.17 million. That is a discernable enthusiasm gap, and about what one would expect to see in a midterm cycle that already favors Republicans simply because they lost the White House in 2020.
In this case, Trump held one of his signature rallies less than two weeks before the primary, leading to a surge for Oz in the polls and a big Primary Day turnout in his favor, particularly in eastern Pennsylvania areas like Bucks County, although to be fair Oz performed well in McCormick strongholds like Westmoreland County as well. With the race so close, every bit of vote across the state made the difference.
And with big statewide victories for Doug Mastriano, the GOP’s nominee for Governor in Pennsylvania, who also had Trump’s endorsement, and another big Trump endorsed win for U.S. Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) for the Senate nomination in North Carolina, all coming on the heels of J.D. Vance’s convincing win for the Republican nomination for the Ohio Senate seat, Trump is clearly onto something as he restores his reputation for winning politically.
Now, the real test will come in November. Going by historical trends, this would be a big Republican year anyway, and so Republican candidates, Trump-endorsed or not, should do very well. If Trump’s candidates should win in November, or if most of them do, it could cement Trump as the putative favorite to run again in 2024 in the eyes of Republican primary voters. (Read more here).

Saharan dust cloud over the Atlantic may reach

Dust carried all the way from Africa's Sahara Desert could arrive in the skies of the Gulf Coast states over the weekend, bringing not just hazy sunsets but also possibly hazardous health impacts.
The first trans-Atlantic Saharan dust cloud of 2022 could approach the Gulf Coast states this weekend, bringing the possibility of health hazards along with hazy skies.
The enormous plume of dust referred to as a Saharan Air Layer (SAL) is made of dry air carrying dust from the Sahara Desert as it embarks on a journey across the Atlantic Ocean. The dust makes its annual trip from May to August and can reach as far as the central United States, spiking air pollution and agitating health issues.
As of Tuesday, the dust was still over the Atlantic, with computer model simulations projecting that the dust cloud will sweep across the Caribbean before it could possibly reach the shores of the U.S. Gulf Coast.
"A large batch of dust was evident on satellite photos from the start of this week and was beginning to enter the Caribbean," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said. "It is possible, but not a certainty, that this dust will make the trip as far as the Gulf and south-central U.S. late this week or this weekend. Some of the dust is probably going to reach Florida. The biggest impact will be to make the sky appear hazy, but it can also give extra color to sunrises and sunsets." Read More
