Former Trump aide posts online a searchable database containing a huge trove of more than 120,000 emails from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop
|
|
Garrett Ziegler, a former aide to Peter Navarro in Donald Trump’s Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, uploaded 128,775 emails to a searchable database this week through his organization Marco Polo.
The site, BidenLaptopEmails.com, also allows users to download all the emails for Mac or Windows computers.
Among the thousands of emails in the publicly posted database is the infamous ’10 for the big guy’ message, in which Hunter’s business partner James Gilliar appeared to suggest Hunter should hold 10% of the equity in their multi-million-dollar deal with the Chinese on behalf of his father, President Joe Biden.
Another email in the database, previously published by DailyMail.com, shows Hunter describing an extraordinary apparent quid pro quo with a Mexican billionaire’s son, outlining how he got him into the White House and inauguration, and thanking him for visits to his villa.
Republican lawmakers are planning to launch a full-scale investigation into the alleged corruption exposed from the laptop if they gain control of Congress after the mid terms later this year.(Daily Mail UK) Read more here.

1. 'I will not allow assaulting police officers to become the norm' - Israel Hayom
Israel Police Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai condemned Tuesday the violent exchanges that took place between Arab MKS and police officers last week.
On Friday, Joint Arab List MK Ofer Cassif was filmed confronting a police officer that blocked his way to a protest in southern Mount Hebron. In a separate incident, MK Ahmad Tibi was documented interfering with police work in a protest in Jerusalem.
"I will not abide an agenda of blatantly and forcefully harming police officers who are doing their job on behalf of the state and for its citizens," Shabtai said at a Knesset event honoring Israeli security forces. "Certainly not by someone who is supposed to serve as an example and model of law-abiding behavior for their constituents," he said, although refrained from naming the lawmakers in question. 2. IDF changing military strategy in Palestinian-run parts of Judea, Samaria - World Israel News
The IDF is considering using more aerial support in its counter-terrorism operations in Judea and Samaria following recent clashes in Jenin with dozens of armed Palestinian terrorists at a time, Hebrew media reported.
The change in tactics would include using combat helicopters and drones to support troops engaged in serious firefights with Arab combatants. In general, until now, using such firepower has been confined locally to army operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The move has gained momentum following the death of senior Yamam counter-terror operative Sgt. Maj. Noam Raz last week near the Jenin refugee camp during one such clash. The IDF force came under “indescribable” gunfire during the arrest raid, according to one senior officer.
Helicopters could silence such forces with a single missile, but the pros and cons of giving such an order would have to be weighed just as carefully as they are in anti-terror operations in Gaza; chances are high that bystanders could be hurt as well in crowded urban areas like Jenin. (Read more)

3. Police on high alert ahead of Meron Lag Ba’omer celebration - Jerusalem Post
16,000 will be allowed on mountain at a time, only people with tickets to be let in.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to Mount Meron on Wednesday night to celebrate Lag Ba’omer, exactly one year after 45 people died there in a stampede.
The disaster took place close to 12:45 a.m. when Lag Ba’omer fell on April 30. It began when about 20,000 haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men and boys left a bonfire held by the Toldos Aharon Hassidim at a compound near the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. (Read more)

4. Israel Delivers Helmets, Vests to Emergency and Civilian Groups in Ukraine - Algemeiner
Israel has delivered 2,000 helmets and 500 protective vests for emergency and civilian organizations in Ukraine, Israel‘s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz said last month he would authorize the delivery of helmets and vests, signaling a shift in Israel‘s position on providing such equipment. It follows a request by Ukraine for the supplies.
A mediator in the Ukraine-Russia crisis, Israel has condemned the Russian invasion but has limited itself to humanitarian relief. It has been wary of straining relations with Moscow, a powerbroker in neighboring Syria where Israel coordinates strikes against Iranian deployments.
Ukraine previously voiced frustration with Israel‘s refusal to provide what it deems defensive aid against Russia. (Read more)

5. Dozens of members of Arab family riot at hospital in Nahariya - Israel National News
Two days after the violent attack by Arabs from eastern Jerusalem of staff at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus, another incident of violence in a hospital took place on Wednesday.
Dozens of family members of a motorcyclist from Abu Snan, who died at Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya from injuries sustained in an accident, tried to break into the hospital's shock room, attacking security personnel and civilians.
The security guards, who felt they were in a life-threatening situation, had to use pepper spray to get the rioters out of the emergency room.
Police who were called to the scene restored order. (Read more)

1. Report: 26 Million Americans Stopped Reading the Bible Regularly During COVID-19 - Christianity Today
When researchers for the American Bible Society’s annual State of the Bible report saw this year’s survey statistics, they found it hard to believe the results. The data said roughly 26 million people had mostly or completely stopped reading the Bible in the last year.
“We reviewed our calculations. We double-checked our math and ran the numbers again … and again,” John Plake, lead researcher for the American Bible Society, wrote in the 2022 report. “What we discovered was startling, disheartening, and disruptive.”
In 2021, about 50 percent of Americans said they read the Bible on their own at least three or four times per year. That percentage had stayed more or less steady since 2011. But in 2022, it dropped 11 points. Now only 39 percent say they read the Bible multiple times per year or more. It is the steepest, sharpest decline on record.(Read more)

We ask you Lord to allow the seeds from Scripture to bear real, noticeable fruit in tangible acts of sacrificial love for others. 2. My Faith Votes launches ‘Write Now’ postcard and letter-writing campaign ahead of midterm elections - My Faith Votes
My Faith Votes, a nonpartisan organization that mobilizes people of faith to vote in every election, has launched "Write Now” a campaign to send handwritten letters and postcards to Christian voters encouraging them to participate in the 2022 midterm elections.
My Faith Votes executed multiple Get Out the Vote campaigns at the state level in Virginia in 2021 and saw tremendous success–an unprecedented 57% increase in voter turnout. During the Senate runoff election in Georgia, My Faith Votes planned to send 500,000 postcards, but that number doubled to 1 million due to the overwhelming response from volunteers.
Every election cycle, many Christians across America believe their vote won’t make a difference. In their frustration, millions choose to sit on the sidelines. This election season, My Faith Votes wants to see those Christians at the polls .(Read more)

- Lord, thank You for allowing us to be a part of Your plans. We pray that through a simple postcard or letter that is handwritten and prayed over, that more Christians would see the need to put their faith in action and vote. Thank You for all those who are volunteering to be a part of this unique campaign to impact the midterms. May lives be influenced for Your glory.
- “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15)

3. Elon Musk lights up Twitter after declaring he'll vote GOP next election - MSN
Twitter is reeling after Elon Musk claimed that he will be voting for Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections. During a live episode of the All-In Podcast at a Miami tech conference, Musk told his hosts that he would be voting Republican in the upcoming elections despite his track record of almost exclusively voting Democrat.
He stated, "I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically – overwhelmingly. Like, I'm not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear. Now this election, I will."
The Tesla CEO provided some insight into the reasoning for his political switch, claiming that Democrats aren’t necessarily controlled by the people but by special interests. (Read more)

4. How the Palestinians Pay Terrorists as Biden Pumps Millions of Aid Dollars Into Their Government - Free Beacon
The Palestinian Authority allocates hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorists and their families even as the Biden administration pumps U.S. taxpayer funds into the Palestinian government, according to a non-public State Department report issued to Congress and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The report, published on May 10, details how the Palestinian government runs afoul of a U.S. law that bars it from receiving American aid dollars until these terror payments, known as the "pay-to-slay program," are stopped. The PA in 2019, the most recent reporting period available, allocated over $150 million to convicted terrorists. Another $191 million was paid to the families of terrorists who were "martyred" while conducting attacks against Israelis and Americans. There is no sign these payments will end, with Palestinian leaders voicing support on the international stage for the program.
The report comes as the Biden administration pushes to increase U.S. aid dollars to the PA, which were terminated during the Trump administration as a result of the "pay-to-slay" program. More than $360 million in U.S. funding was given to the PA in 2021, potentially in violation of a bipartisan law known as the Taylor Force Act, which prohibits the American government from giving the Palestinians aid as long as they pay terrorists. - Lord God it is a tragedy that so many Americans are struggling to pay for gas, rent, food for their babies, among others things while our government decides to keep giving foreign countries more money. This is an injustice. And we pray Lord God that our government would repent, change their ways, and fulfill their oaths to the American people. Amen.

- Lord God we just pray for increased discernment for parents and especially Christian families all over the world when it comes to the companies that advertise to our children. We pray that you would encourage families to be proactive to do research on what these organizations stand for and what exactly they are pushing on our children so that we can properly raise them up to fulfill their purpose and their plan that you have established for them before they were born. In Jesus name. Amen.

6. Audit finds half of Joe Biden’s Twitter followers are fake - New York Post
Nearly half of President Biden’s 22.2 million Twitter followers are bogus, a new audit revealed. The audit, which was done for the social media giant by software firm SparkToro, found that 49.3% of the president’s followers are “fake followers,” according to Newsweek.
SparkToro has defined “fake followers” as “accounts that are unreachable and will not see the account’s tweets (either because they’re spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they’re no longer active on Twitter).”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is attempting to buy Twitter, has expressed concern over the growing number of fake accounts and proposed a potential crackdown on the sham accounts. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray for an increase in discernment during this very deceptive time that we live in. It is very eye-opening to find this information out and then speculate that half the celebrities or certain influencers that are propped up to push certain propaganda or ideologies may not even be as genuinely popular as we have been previously led to believe. So Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment so we can spot the fake from the real in Jesus name we pray.

7. 2020 election skeptic Doug Mastriano wins Pennsylvania GOP gubernatorial nod - Washington Examiner
State Sen. Doug Mastriano won Pennsylvania’s Republican gubernatorial nomination on Tuesday despite a last-ditch effort by some state Republicans to coalesce the field around a different candidate they felt would fare better against state Attorney General Josh Shapiro, the presumptive Democratic nominee, in November.
Mastriano, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, backed his claims that the 2020 election was stolen. Mastriano attended both a QAnon-linked event in Gettysburg and the Washington, D.C., rally that took place before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Mastriano frequently barred media from his campaign events in the final days of the race. Pennsylvania is a key battleground state, and some Republicans expressed concern about Mastriano’s electability in a general election race.
Trump offered his endorsement to Mastriano on Saturday after it became clear he was the front-runner in the race. The move was seen as a hedge, as Trump’s selection for the Senate, television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz, was in a tight three-way race with businessman David McCormick and conservative commentator Kathy Barnette, who surged in polling in the final days of the race. Barnette and Mastriano ran campaigns in tandem, endorsing one another. (Read more)

- We pray Father God that Doug Mastriano hold his word to those who voted for him. Give him wisdom and strength to handle this important leadership position. In Jesus name amen.

8. Elon Musk warns China's economy could overtake US - Fox Business
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said this week that the U.S. must "stop the infighting" in order to be competitive with China, warning that the world's second-largest economy will someday dwarf America's output.
“What we’re going to see with China, for the first time that anyone can remember who is alive, is an economy that is twice the size of the U.S., possibly three times the size of the U.S., and it’s going to be very weird living in that world," Musk told hosts of the "All-In" podcast on Monday evening.
"So, we better stop the infighting in the U.S. and stop punching ourselves in the face. There’s way too much of America punching itself in the damn face, it’s just dumb, and think about, hey, 'We gotta be competitive here," Musk continued.
"There’s a new kid on the block that’s going to be two to three times our size. We better step up our game and stop infighting." (Read more)

- Lord God we completely agree with these statements. We understand that a house divided against itself will not stand. We fully realize that this division, strife and fear comes from the enemy. We pray Lord that the eyes of our hearts to be flooded with light that we may resist fighting with one another and choose to unite that no matter what our differences are we can all agree that our country's freedom deserves to be defended. In Jesus name we pray amen.
- “And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.” (Mark 3:25)

9. US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine reopens after 3 months - Fox News
Three months after the U.S. suspended operations at the American embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, the State Department announced that it will be reopening. In a statement issued Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that even though embassy personnel left in the days before Russia invaded Ukraine, this had no effect on American support for the people of Ukraine. He said that when the embassy temporarily shuttered, the U.S. "pledged to continue our assistance" and work to eventually reopen.
“Now, that day has come," Blinken said. "Today we are officially resuming operations at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. The Ukrainian people, with our security assistance, have defended their homeland in the face of Russia's unconscionable invasions, and, as a result, the Stars and Stripes are flying over the Embassy once again."
Blinken said that with the reopening of the embassy, the U.S. has "put forward additional measures to increase the safety of our colleagues.
and "enhanced our security measures and protocols." (Read more)

- Lord God we continue to lift all of the Ukrainian people in prayer that your mighty hand is continuing to provide for them, counsel them, and protect them from all harm and evil. We pray you would send your heavenly angels to minister and help them in Jesus name amen.
- “That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with Your right hand, and answer us.” (Psalm 60:5)

Another Place Joe Won't Go: Laguna Woods, CA
(By Gary Bauer)
|
|
|
Lost in all the headlines about Buffalo was the Sunday shooting at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods, California. One person was killed and five others were wounded.
Joe Biden will not visit Laguna Woods because like Waukesha and the New York City subway shooting, it doesn't help advance the left's narrative. But it's important that you know the truth.
Geneva Presbyterian Church was targeted by a sympathizer of communist China. He drove from Las Vegas and went to that church specifically to attack Taiwanese Christians who love freedom and who were worshipping freely on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
That a Chinese nationalist attacked peaceful Taiwanese Americans in a church should outrage everyone. But the Biden Administration and its media allies won't say a word because it doesn't advance their agenda. It also risks offending communist China, a major source over the years of big money for the Biden family.

Biden's controversial disinformation board suspended after wave of criticism
|
|
|
The Department of Homeland Security's much-criticized disinformation governance board is being paused following concerns it would impede free speech and complaints about its executive director.
Less than a month after President Joe Biden's administration touted the initiative, the DHS has suspended the board, pending a review from an advisory council, with its leader, Nina Jankowicz, still evaluating her future plans within the department.
“Nina Jankowicz has been subjected to unjustified and vile personal attacks and physical threats,” a DHS spokesperson told the Washington Post Wednesday . “In congressional hearings and in media interviews, the secretary has repeatedly defended her as eminently qualified and underscored the importance of the department’s disinformation work, and he will continue to do so," the representative added, referring to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates described the "smears leveled by bad-faith, right-wing actors against a deeply qualified expert and against efforts to better combat human smuggling and domestic terrorism" as "disgusting.”
"The administration has forcefully spoken out against them repeatedly," he told the Washington Examiner. "Neither Nina Jankowicz nor the board have anything to do with censorship or with removing content from anywhere. Their role is to ensure that national security officials are updated on how misinformation is affecting the threat environment. She has strong credentials and a history of calling out misinformation from both the Left and the Right.” (Washington Examiner) Read more here.

- Thank You Jesus for standing on this wicked scheme to shudder the voices of opposition in our nation. We pray that this department is fully neutralized and there is no other attempt to bring it back. We pray for these people to understand the value of our Constitutional Rights. We also ask for continued strength for those who fight for our freedoms.
- "But God is the Judge; He puts down one, And exalts another." (Psalm 75:7)

'ASTOUNDING ACCURACY': THESE DOGS CAN DETECT THE COVID-19 VIRUS; TRAINER RELIES ON DIVINE INTERVENTION
|
|
Although COVID-19 cases are down across the country, the need remains for accurate testing, especially in the event of a major resurgence. Leaders of a Virginia company say they have what it takes to test large numbers of people in a short amount of time. They're getting help from man's best friend. At American K-9 Interdiction in Carrsville, Virginia, trainer James Overton plays with Blade, a German Shepherd-Belgian Malinois mix. The three-year-old is one of dozens of dogs the company uses for what it calls, "real-world K-9 solutions." Paul Roushia has led efforts at the company for 18 years. "Primarily, what we do, we take dogs, and we condition them to find explosives, narcotics, bed bugs, and COVID. If it has an odor, we can train the dog to find it," Roushia told CBN News. "These dogs—they never cease to amaze us; I don't think we deserve these dogs. I think their capabilities—I think we're just starting to scratch the surface of the things that these dogs are able to do for us," said trainer James Overton.
Roushia says the idea to train dogs to detect COVID came after hearing a competitor discuss the concept. Roushia said, "It's just remarkable how sensitive their olfactory capabilities are and their ability to find this stuff. It's north of 95 percent accurate." Andrew Kasecamp is in charge of training and education. He says he was very skeptical at first that dogs could be trained to detect COVID. "I said, 'There's no way. There's no way; I've done this a long time. I do not believe that it's possible.' And I'm kind of glad that they proved me wrong. Watching them actually go out and have the accuracy that they have is, it's astounding," Kasecamp said.
One of the primary benefits for using dogs to detect COVID is speed. Staff at American K-9 Interdiction say a dog can screen 30 to 40 people in less than a minute compared to the 15 minutes it takes to get the results back on just one rapid antigen test. Overton believes the dogs are a match for searching large groups of people. "So anywhere where there's large crowds of people in close proximity to each other—cruise ships, stadiums, concert venues, schools, hospitals—anywhere, even the airlines—any of those applications would be perfect for something like this, to be able to do rapid screening at a very, very fast rate," he said.
Roushia says he prays over the dogs constantly and relies on Divine intervention. "I ask for that knowledge, wisdom, and discernment on a daily basis and then just trust the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Go find that quiet space—the world's loud, and God likes to whisper. And if He tells me, 'Go forward with it,' I do. And if He speaks to my heart and says, 'Don't do that,' then I don't." (CBN) Read more here.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words and Music: Helen Lemmel
Scripture: Let us fix our eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2
Lyrics:
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Refrain
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of the world will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
Refrain
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
