Biden's 'Disinfo' Board Paused As 'Scary Poppins' Resigns

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will pause the work of a controversial board to coordinate efforts to battle disinformation, saying that while its work was “grossly and intentionally mischaracterized,” the “false attacks have become a significant distraction.”
Its leader, disinformation expert Nina Jankowicz, will also resign from the department.
Designed as a way to coordinate efforts across the department with disparate missions, the Disinformation Governance Board prompted attacks from Republicans and civil rights groups alike.
While free speech and civil rights groups largely argued the DHS was not transparent enough in outlining the board’s mission to adequately evaluate it, the GOP was quick to borrow a phrase from George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984” in labeling it the “Ministry of Truth.”
Many also directly targeted Jankowicz, who was brought in to oversee the board, which was designed to ensure the DHS protected civil liberties and free speech rights in disinformation efforts that have already been underway for the better part of a decade and deal with topics as varied as immigration and natural disasters.
“The great irony here is that the board was designed to protect against the very thing that the board is accused of engaging in,” one senior DHS official said on a call with reporters.

1.Israeli defense minister, US national security advisor meet in White House - JNS
(May 19, 2022 / JNS) Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz commenced his official visit to the United States on Wednesday, meeting with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in the White House. The two discussed various security threats, foremost Iran, as well as regional opportunities, according to a statement from Gantz’s office.
Iran was a central discussion topic, with Gantz sharing assessments of Iran’s nuclear program progress, as well as its regional destabilizing activities.
During the talks, Gantz “emphasized” the need to work closely and prepare for any future scenario. This would be conducted within the framework of Israel’s excellent defense cooperation with the U.S. and growing ties with regional partners,” according to the statement. (Read more)

2. MK Zoabi won't commit to voting against govt. after boltin - Israel National News
Meretz MK Ghaida Rinawie Zoabi declared Thursday evening that she will not necessarily vote to bring down the government despite announcing her resignation from the coalition earlier today.
"If the proposal is brought forward on Wednesday, I will vote according to my conscience and see what happens. I will consider my actions," the MK said in an interview with Channel 12 News.
Explaining her resignation, she said: "I have reached the point of no return and can no longer support this coalition. I have also voted against my conscience in recent months. The government has broken to the right and given all the conduct with regards to issues that is important to the Arab public to Al Aqsa and the settlements, the Citizenship Law - all this has brought me to a situation where I cannot continue." 3.Israel could soon face another early election after coalition becomes minority in Knesset - Israel Hayom
Another member of Knesset said Thursday she was quitting the ruling coalition, leaving embattled Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in control of a crumbling minority government.
Meretz lawmaker Ghaida Rinawie Zoabi's announcement further whittles away Bennett's hold on Israel's 120-seat parliament, reducing the coalition to 59 seats. Two other legislators from his own party have already bolted.
Rinawie Zoabi's departure further raises the possibility of new parliamentary elections, less than a year after the government took office. While Bennett's government remains in power, it is now even more hamstrung in parliament and will likely struggle to function. (Read more)

4. Iranians tried kidnapping former Israeli defense minister – report - World Israel News
The Shin Bet, Israel’s Security Agency, announced Thursday that it thwarted an Iranian plot to lure prominent Israeli academics and entrepreneurs as well as members of Israel’s defense establishment to fly abroad – likely with the intention to kidnap them and possibly harm them.
Over the last several months, the Shin Bet said, Iranian officials have been approaching these Israelis while posing as academics, journalists, businessmen and philanthropists, using the identity of foreign individuals who were unaware of the activity.
For example, Daily Telegraph journalist Con Coughlin, a contributor to The Gatestone Institute, was among those whose identity was stolen. The operatives used the email address coughlin@gatestoneInstitute.org, which is similar to Coughlin’s real email, according to The Jerusalem Post. (Read more)

5. Hundreds of extremists destroy safety infrastructure at Meron - Israel National News
The police reported Thursday afternoon that hundreds of haredi extremists broke into the Tomb of the Talmudic sage Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai on Mount Meron, breaking down the partitions between the men's and women's sections, threw fences to the ground, and endangered the lives of the people inside the compound.
Police rescued the women and children from the tomb and are working to bring the riot under control.
In light of the violent riot, it has been decided to halt the bussing of people to the site to mark the Lag B'Omer holiday. The celebrations have been halted following the deliberate destruction of safety infrastructure at the site, rendering it impossible to fulfill the safety guidelines required to hold the evens. 1. Gantz leaves to US for security talks centered on Iran, Ukraine – Times of Israel
Defense Minister urges regional coordination against Iran ahead of meetings with top Biden adviser Sullivan and Pentagon chief Austin; itinerary does not mention Abu Akleh death. Iran’s nuclear program and the war in Ukraine will be the focus of security talks with Washington this week, Defense Minister Benny Gantz said late Tuesday as he took off for a several-day trip to the US.
Gantz is set to meet with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan during two days in Washington, amid growing fears over advancing nuclear enrichment in Iran and a widening gulf with Russia over Syria and Ukraine.
“I will discuss bolstering joint security cooperation and dealing with regional challenges, chief among them Iran, which all moderate actors in the region must unite against,” Gantz said according to his spokesperson. “We will also discuss Ukraine and other matters important to world, regional and Israeli security,” he added, without expanding. 2. India cuts off wheat exports amid skyrocketing prices, destructive heatwave – NewsTarget
The world’s second-largest wheat producer has banned exports of the crop from here on out as prices continue to rise and a massive heatwave is destroying crops. Indian officials announced the ban on Saturday, just a few days after claiming the country was on target to see record shipments this year. They say it is needed because of record temperatures ruining wheat still in the ground coupled with rising inflation.
Exports for letters of credit that were already issued to countries that are just trying “to meet their food security needs” can still leave the country, authorities clarified.
The markets were expecting continued output from India to make up for other countries like Ukraine and Hungary, also heavy exporters of wheat and other grains, that have also cut off exports. Before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, India was on track to ship out a record 10 million tons of wheat this year. All of that has since changed now that India is keeping all its wheat for itself. 3. Blinken Announces $215 Million for Global Emergency Aid to Ease Food Shortages – The Epoch Times
Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Wednesday that the United States will be offering $215 million in emergency assistance to ease worldwide food shortages, worsened by the Ukraine war and resulting supply chain disruptions.
“Today, given the urgency of the crisis, we’re announcing another $215 million in new emergency food assistance. And we’ll do much more. We expect our Congress very soon to approve approximately $5.5 billion in additional funding for humanitarian assistance and food security,” Blinken said at the Food Security Ministerial in the United Nations headquarters.
The $5.5 billion is part of the $40 billion taxpayer-funded Ukraine aid bill passed in the House on May 10 and the Senate on Monday, and is currently on its way to Biden’s desk.
Blinken added that governments and organizations around the world need to combine their efforts in convincing Russia to allow for food and vital supplies to safely leave Ukraine. “There are an estimated 22 million tons of grain sitting in silos in Ukraine right now, food that could immediately go toward helping those in need if it can simply get out of the country,” Blinken said. 5. After vaccines killed so many, U.S. airlines have run out of pilots and are now canceling flights – NewsTarget
The airline industry has been left in shambles due to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccine” mandates, which killed off or forced into early retirement so many pilots that there are no longer enough of them left to fly all the airplanes.
The corporate-controlled media (i.e., CNBC) claims that the “pandemic” is responsible for these losses, but we know better than that. Many transportation workers walked off the job and never returned because of the mandates, and that is a fact.

6. “Effective”? Latest CDC Data Shows FULLY Vaccinated Children Have Higher Covid Infection Rates Than Unvaccinated Children – The Gateway Pundit
As the Biden Administration green-lights another experimental jab of mRNA for 5-11-year-olds, the latest CDC data reveals children of that age have a higher Covid infection rate than their unvaccinated peers. In other words, kids who are jabbed are more likely to catch Covid, which also means the vaccinated are spreading the virus more than the unvaccinated.
So, these kids must take their boosters… Must be that dang sCiEnCe again.

, children aged 5-11 have been contracting Covid at a higher rate if they have been fully vaccinated since February, which is the first time the agency recorded more vaccinated Covid cases than unvaccinated.

This is starting to get really bad. By now, you have probably heard that the stock market crashed again on Wednesday. The carnage was immense, and the big names on Wall Street are deeply concerned about what will happen next. But this wasn’t supposed to happen. After falling for six weeks in a row, this was supposed to be the week when stock prices finally bounced back. Needless to say, that isn’t what we are witnessing. The S&P 500 traded 4.04% lower to 3,923.68, also the worst drop since 2020. The Nasdaq Composite slipped 4.73% to 11,418.15, which is the largest fall in the tech-heavy index since May 5. The selling was broad and intense on Wall Street with just eight members of the S&P 500 in the green.
If the Dow breaks below the all-important 30,000 psychological barrier, this steady slide in stock prices could quickly evolve into a full-blown avalanche. There is already a tremendous amount of fear on Wall Street, and at this point it won’t take much of a push to set off a colossal wave of panic.

8. Former South Korean defense official claims army training is 'very, very bad' - Washington Examiner
A former deputy commander of South Korea's First Army said the conditions for training soldiers are "very, very bad," partly because of a high turnover rate in the South Korean military.
In-Bum Chun, the former deputy commander, said he believes it will take the army five years to make a significant improvement in the preparedness of the troops, and it will need the help of the United States in the meantime.
"The only worse thing than fighting with allies is fighting without them,” Chun said in a news brief. “We are really at the stage where we need the Americans to help us for the next five years.”
Chun cited a 60% turnover rate in the South Korean army every year and said he knew of troops who had not experienced live fire training in a decade. Live fire training has been deemed crucial for preparing soldiers for war.
“We just can’t manage the kind of level of training that we used to be amazed that others require,” Chun said. (Read more)

9. White House prepared for North Korean nuclear test during presidential visit to Asia - Washington Examiner
The White House said Wednesday it is bracing for North Korea to conduct a nuclear test during President Joe Biden's trip to Asia, which begins Thursday. Intelligence showed the possibility of a test occurring while Biden was overseas, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Wednesday.
“Our intelligence does reflect the genuine possibility that there will be either a further missile test, including long-range missile test, or a nuclear test — or frankly both in the days leading into, on, or after the president’s trip to the region," Sullivan said, according to the Guardian. “We are preparing for all contingencies, including the possibility that such a provocation would occur while we are in South Korea or in Japan."
Biden is expected to visit South Korea first on Thursday before attending a summit in Japan on Sunday, the latter of which will also include leaders from India and Australia. Sullivan said the purpose of the trip is to show leaders in the Indo-Pacific that the United States has not forgotten about its interests in the region despite focusing on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The intelligence communities in South Korea and the U.S. have been meeting this week over the possibility of North Korea conducting a nuclear test after activity was witnessed at its test site. If a test is completed during Biden's journey, it would be the country's first nuclear test in five years. (Read more)

WHO Must Be Stopped

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Biden Administration have been conducting behind the scenes negotiations that circumvent Constitutional treaty requirements to allow WHO to establish world governing authority under the guise of a health emergency. This unprecedented expansion of powers is an addition to international regulations agreed to in 2005 in response to the SARS epidemic of 2003 where the 194 WHO member countries agreed to submit their sovereignty to WHO when it comes to handling pandemics such as COVID. This places WHO in the position of a world dictator using self-defined health “emergencies” to dictate travel, religious worship, privacy and body autonomy (read: forced vaccinations).
There is a clear example why this is a threat to your freedom. WHO handled the COVID pandemic by dictating the standard for “defeating” COVID—A historic global lockdown of healthy people and the control of their actions. WHO’s tentacles extended to the US, where the government dictated the treatment for the disease by mandating remdesivir and ventilators. This mandated treatment likely resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands, while life-saving treatments were denied by the US government and governments around the world. Then came the Emergency Use Authorized vaccines and the propaganda campaign that demonized anyone who refused to take the serum. Melting glacier allows researchers to make ‘exceptional’ prehistoric discovery

The researchers, who braved fierce winds, heavy rain and snow at their excavation site, hope the fossilized remains of a pregnant creature they named Fiona can provide clues into what life was like 139 million years ago.
The "exceptional" 130-million-year-old fossilized remains of a pregnant ichthyosaur with several fully intact embryos have been unearthed in Chile, a first-of-its-kind prehistoric discovery on the planet.
A melting glacier in Torres del Paine National Park in the Patagonia region slowly revealed the treasure: A 13-foot-long fossilized marine creature, nicknamed Fiona by scientists.
The fossil dates to the Early Cretaceous Period, between 129 million and 139 million years ago, when the mighty brachiosaurus roamed the Earth. Fiona is the only pregnant female ever recorded from the Valanginian-Hauterivian geologic era.
"So it's incredibly important," said paleontologist Judith Pardo-Pérez, who discovered the ichthyosaur and led the expedition for the University of Magallanes.

AZ Sheriff from '2,000 Mules' Doc Announces 2020 Voter Fraud Investigations, Plus New 2022 Fraud

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office featured in the new 2000 Mules documentary that points to alleged ballot-harvesting and trafficking in the 2020 presidential election, has announced it will "actively examine cases of voting fraud from the 2020 General Election." The Sheriff's Office said in a press release that it is partnering with the Yuma County Recorder's Office to also investigate a recent pattern of fraudulent voter registration forms leading up to the 2022 Primary Election. As of March of this year, the Sheriff's Office said it had 16 voting/registration open cases with documented evidence. The sheriff also included some examples of voter fraud in Yuma County. Impersonation fraud, false registrations, duplicate voting, and fraudulent use of absentee ballots.
Dinesh D'Souza's new movie 2000 Mules was released on May 7. The documentary shows geotracking data and video surveillance footage obtained by election integrity watchdog True the Vote purporting to show hundreds of "mules" stuffing unattended ballot drop boxes with absentee ballots during odd hours in battleground states, according to Just The News. Praised by former President Donald Trump as exposing "great election fraud," the movie paints an ominous picture by claiming ballot "mules" were paid to illegally collect and drop off ballots in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
In a statement to Just The News, True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht said, "We are extremely encouraged that the Yuma County Sheriff's Office and Recorder's Office are now working together to investigate individuals involved in the subversion of elections. We've spent concentrated time in Yuma County and have provided significant information to both state and federal authorities. What has been happening in Yuma County is happening across the country.
