Kim Jong-un and Putin Plan to Meet in Russia
to Discuss Weapons

Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, plans to travel to Russia this month to meet with President Vladimir V. Putin to discuss the possibility of supplying Russia with more weaponry for its war in Ukraine and other military cooperation, according to American and allied officials.
In a rare foray from his country, Mr. Kim would travel from Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital, probably by armored train, to Vladivostok, on the Pacific Coast of Russia, where he would meet with Mr. Putin, the officials said.
Mr. Putin wants Mr. Kim to agree to send Russia artillery shells and antitank missiles, and Mr. Kim would like Russia to provide North Korea with advanced technology for satellites and nuclear-powered submarines, the officials said. Mr. Kim is also seeking food aid for his impoverished nation.
Both leaders would be on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok to attend the Eastern Economic Forum, which is scheduled to run Sept. 10 to 13, according to the officials. Mr. Kim also plans to visit Pier 33, where naval ships from Russia’s Pacific fleet dock, they said.
On Wednesday, the White House warned that Mr. Putin and Mr. Kim had exchanged letters discussing a possible arms deal, citing declassified intelligence. A White House spokesman, John F. Kirby, said high-level talks on military cooperation between the two nations were “actively advancing.” U.S. officials declined to give more details on the state of personal ties between the leaders, who are considered adversaries of the United States. Supreme Court Will Decide If Trump Gets Disqualified From 2024 Race Under 14th Amendment:

Top Democrats are pushing for using the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution to disqualify former President Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential campaign, with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) calling on the U.S. Supreme Court to take the ultimate decision.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, enacted in the wake of the Civil War, bars a citizen from holding office if they have engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” against the United States “or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." In an interview with MSNBC on Sunday, Mr. Schiff insisted that the 14th Amendment case against President Trump is a “valid argument.”
The law “doesn't require that you be convicted of insurrection. It just requires that you have engaged in these acts,” he said. “It's a disqualification from holding office … And it fits Donald Trump to a T.”
Mr. Schiff thinks the law will be tested when a secretary of state “either refuses to put him on the ballot or puts him on the ballot and is challenged by a litigant. I would imagine that it would go up to the Supreme Court. And that’s the big question mark through all this—what will the Supreme Court do?”

In a Saturday interview, former White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke out in defense of masking up amid today's rising COVID cases.
In the event that masks are again recommended, he is "concerned that people will not abide by recommendations," he said in the interview.
"I would hope that if we get to the point that the volume of cases is such and organizations like the CDC recommends – CDC does not mandate anything – recommends that people wear masks, I would hope that people abide by that recommendation and take into account the risks to themselves and their families," Fauci told CNN.
Fauci . . . also called into question a January 2023 Cochrane study that found masking to be ineffective. "When you’re talking about the effect on the pandemic as a whole, the data is less strong," Fauci said. "But when you talk about an individual basis of someone protecting themselves … there’s no doubt that there’s many studies that show that there is an advantage [to masks]."
The Cochrane study, led by 12 researchers from esteemed universities around the world, compared the use of medical/surgical masks to wearing no masks.
The review found that "wearing a mask may make little to no difference in how many people caught a flu-like illness/COVID-like illness (nine studies; 276,917 people); and probably makes little or no difference in how many people have flu/COVID confirmed by a laboratory test (six studies; 13,919 people)." President Isaac Herzog on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his political rivals to reach a compromise that would end the judicial crisis just a week ahead of a crunch court hearing, with both sides locking horns in combative speeches.
Herzog said on Monday he has been speaking with Coalition and Opposition leaders over the past few weeks in a renewed push to reach broad agreements that would stave off a constitutional crisis and safeguard democracy after months of protests.
"There are moments in such a crisis when leadership must seize the rare opportunity in order to reach out and come to an agreement. This is such a moment," Herzog said in a speech. "Enough already. I call on the leaders to show responsibility." (Read more)

3. Axis of Resistance’ Leaders Backed by Iran Meet to Foment West Bank Terrorism - Algemeiner
Leaders from the so-called “axis of resistance” — an Iran-led, anti-Western network of countries and non-state actors that span the Middle East — met in Beirut over the weekend as members of the alliance try to foment terror attacks in the West Bank.
According to Iranian media, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian on Friday conveyed a message to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), both widely designated as Palestinian terrorist groups, that his country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is committed to supporting their efforts in the West Bank.
On Saturday, PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhala and Hamas deputy politburo chief Saleh al-Arouri met with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and issued a joint statement stressing their unity and coordination in confronting Israel.
“The firm position of all the forces of the axis of resistance in confronting the Zionist enemy, its occupation, and its arrogance was emphasized,” the statement said. (Read more)

Papua New Guinea opened its embassy in Jerusalem on Tuesday at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Papua New Guinean counterpart James Marape.
“Today is a milestone moment for my country Papua New Guinea,” Marape said. “We are here to give respect to the people of Israel to the fullest.”
Marape was explicit in laying out the religious motivation for the move, which makes Papua New Guinea the fifth country to open its embassy in Israel’s capital. (Read more)

5. Dozens of UK universities refusing to adopt leading definition of antisemitism, watchdog reveals - World Israel News
The definition of antisemitism adopted by dozens of governments and hundreds of civic institutions around the world has yet to be endorsed by 43 of Britain’s leading universities, a UK-based group campaigning against antisemitism revealed last week.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), an intergovernmental organization comprised of dozens of countries including the US and Israel, adopted a non-legally binding “working definition” of antisemitism in 2016. Since then, the definition has been widely accepted by Jewish groups and well over 1,000 global entities, from countries to companies. The US State Department, the European Union, and the United Nations all use it.
Despite the IHRA definition’s wide acceptance, however, dozens of universities in Britain have chosen not to adopt it, according to the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA).
“The arguments that these universities have deployed to justify their failure to adopt the definition do not hold water,” CAA said in a statement on its website, citing the University of Brighton and the University of Wales Trinity St. David as two schools that have not embraced the definition during a time of rising antisemitism around the world. 1. Cuba says it uncovered a human trafficking ring that sends Cubans to fight with Russia against Ukraine - NBC News
Cuban authorities said they have uncovered a human trafficking ring operated from Russia that recruits Cuban citizens to fight alongside its military forces in Ukraine.
The announcement, made late Monday by Cuba’s foreign ministry, comes days after local media in Miami reported on Cubans being taken to Russia to fight. The Miami affiliate of Telemundo, part of NBC Universal, interviewed two 19 year-old Cubans who said they were duped into going to Russia. They said a recruiter offered each a job in construction in exchange for $2,200, a Russian passport and the possibility of taking their families to Russia in the future.
"We don't know what to do anymore," one of them said, adding they were told to be ready at 3:30 a.m. because they would be taken to Ukraine.
In a press release, Cuba’s foreign ministry said it “has detected and it is working to neutralize and dismantle a human trafficking network that operates from Russia in order to incorporate Cuban citizens living there and even some living in Cuba, into the military forces that participate in military operations in Ukraine.” (Read more)

Gas prices hit the highest level for early September in over a decade, igniting fears that inflation could rise again — and giving Republicans more fodder to hit President Joe Biden on fuel costs as he heads into an election year.
National gas prices reached $3.81 a gallon on Tuesday, topping the average for around the same time last year and marking the highest figure for the date in over a decade, according to AAA data reported by Bloomberg.
August's average gasoline price, coming in at $3.84, marks the second-highest level of prices for the month over the last decade, with the highest seen in 2022, according to the Energy Information Administration. (Read more)

3. Voters don’t buy 'Bidenomics' and say economy worse under Biden - Washington Examiner
Just hours after the Biden-Harris campaign unveiled a new ad bragging about the administration’s efforts to save the economy, a new survey has revealed that voters just aren’t buying it.
In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shared with Secrets, 52% said that the economy has gotten “worse” under Biden, while 31% say that it is better.
And when asked who to blame for the “current problems in the economy,” most — 42% — blame Biden, with Republicans in Congress a distant second at 29%.

Democrats are launching a $20 million investment in voter registration that will home in on minority voters in key states as the party seeks to regain control of the House next year.
The initiative — launched by House Majority Forward, the nonprofit arm of Democrats' House Majority PAC, on Tuesday — includes a comprehensive grassroots mobilization effort centered on young voters and those in black, Latino, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and Native American communities, according to the group. 5. Attempt to bar Trump from 2024 ballot gains steam despite 'dubious' and 'dangerous' legal arguments - Fox News
Some on the right and left have claimed that former President Trump could be disqualified from appearing on the 2024 presidential ballot. Several legal experts dismiss that theory as not just implausible but potentially dangerous.
The legal theory goes that Trump could be blocked from the ballot point as Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution — the Disqualifications Clause — bars individuals who "have engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against America, or aided those engaged in such, from holding office. President Biden on Sunday announced his five nominations for the U.S. representatives to the upcoming General Assembly of the United Nations (UN). The nominees include Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.), political consultant Janet Keller, former Georgia state Rep. Calvin Smyre (D) and Jeff Worthe, president of Worthe Real Estate Group.

Special Counsel Jack Smith may obtain limited access to Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry's cell phone data, a court has determined. The ruling from the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals remains under seal, but reportedly overturns a ruling from a lower court that could have granted the special counsel access to substantially more data from the device, according to The Messenger.
Perry, a key leader in the House Freedom Caucus and close ally of former President Donald Trump, objected to counting his state's electoral votes in the 2020 presidential contest. He reportedly sought a preemptive pardon from Trump after the events of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
The FBI seized his cell phone in August 2022. Smith's pursuit of access to Perry's phone data comes as part of his broader probe into the former president's efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results. (Read more)

8. J.D. Vance moves to ban mask mandates in schools or public transit - Just The News
Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance on Tuesday announced that he would introduce a bill to prevent the government from imposing mask mandates and bar officials in myriad institutions from refusing to serve unmasked individuals
Dubbed the "Freedom to Breathe Act," the bill would "ensure that no federal bureaucracy, no commercial airline, and no public school can impose the misguided policies of the past," Vance said, according to Cleveland.com.
"Democrats say they’re not going to bring back mask mandates – we’re going to hold them to their word," he vowed.

When The Church Compromises

Mankind is constantly under the influence of Satan to imitate or replace God. Communism, for example, seeks to replace God with the state. It compels or forces people to comply with the government as the provider of all things. It appeals to the human sense of fairness by creating victim classes such as women, homosexuals, the environment, and skin color. It equates communist values with Godly values. It promises utopia. But the Communist Manifesto calls for the abolition of religion, morals, property ownership, and even marriage. So what happens when the church compromises with communism? Ultimately, communism turns on the church. Nicaragua serves as a great reminder.
In the 1970s and early 1980s, the Roman Catholic Church, the Methodist Church, and the World Council of Churches quietly supported the communist uprising in Nicaragua led by Daniel Ortega. Nuns, priests, pastors had bought into the false promise that Ortega’s brand of communism would be best for the people, that Ortega would use the church to minister to the poor. The church was banking that it would get both money and support from the communist government to ease suffering and bring the gospel to the people. Ortega and the communist Sandinistas gained power, then lost power, then used the church, primarily the Roman Catholic Church, to regain power. Read More

US Officials Sound Alarm Over Chinese Nationals Accessing Military Sites Up To 100 Times
|

|
Roughly 100 incidents where Chinese nationals have accessed or neared U.S. military bases and other sensitive locations have sparked suspicions of a wider espionage campaign driven by Beijing, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. officials.
The FBI, Department of Defense and other agencies have dubbed the situation, where Chinese nationals appear to feign accidentally approaching high-security U.S. military installations and other federal sites, “gate crashing,” and held a review in 2022 to figure out a way to tamp down on the incidents, the WSJ reported, citing the officials. The officials said the practice appears intended to stress-test security measures at the military sites as a form of low-effort reconnaissance or espionage.
Usually, the incidents involve Chinese nationals whom Beijing has forced into performing the operations and reporting back to the government, officials familiar with the matter told the WSJ.
In recent years, Chinese nationals were found photographing a missile range in New Mexico, as well as scuba diving in murky Florida waters that happened to be near a rocket launch site, according to the WSJ. Sometimes, they claim Google Maps directed them to the nearest McDonalds or Burger King on a military base or made reservations for an on-base hotel. They often revert to similar language when apprehended by security guards and pretend to be lost tourists.

Arkansas Dept. of Education Demands School Districts Turn Over CRT-Related Materials from African American Studies Pilot Program

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is demanding that the superintendents of five public school districts in the state hand over materials related to the recently-pulled Advanced Placement (AP) African American Studies pilot program. Arkansas Education Secretary Jacob Oliva has sent a letter to the five superintendents, in which Oliva outlined the racial ideology impregnated within the program’s curriculum.
“Given some of the themes included in the pilot, including ‘intersections of identity' and ‘resistance and resilience,’ the Department is concerned the pilot program may not comply with Arkansas law, which does not permit teaching that would indoctrinate students with ideologies, such as Critical Race Theory,” Oliva explained.
Oliva requested that the superintendents, “submit all materials, including but not limited to the syllabus, textbooks, teacher resources, student resources, rubrics, and training materials, to the Department by 12:00 pm on September 8, 2023.”
Under the LEARNS Act, signed into law by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) in March, the teaching of Critical Race Theory is prohibited in the state of Arkansas. The intersections of identity section of the African American Studies program, which “examines the interplay of distinct categories of identity” would have incorporated the concept of intersectionality, one of the foundational aspects of Critical Race Theory. We praise You, Holy One, that "those in authority" in the schools in their state have seen the danger of this Communist-based curriculum which seeks to divide the races and render asunder our families. How Communism Infiltrated American Classrooms

Education in America is like a ship that set sail 60 years ago on a voyage to bring this nation to a Marxist revolution. Certainly, many educators have been working toward that end, and some are happy about what they’ve accomplished as the ship nears its destination. These educators have no use for actually teaching academics, as that would not advance their cause. For Christians, the only way out of this dire situation is to engage in the spiritual warfare that is necessary to drive out these demonic forces that have taken charge. We must understand how we came to embark on this ill-fated journey if we are to pray successfully for a reversal.
The radical youth of the 1960s and ’70s took to the streets and college campuses in huge numbers to engage in political mass protests. They detested and rejected capitalism and traditional American values in favor of communist revolution. Often under the influence of drugs that only fueled their hatred for this nation, they turned from any form of peaceful protest toward violent ones.
The nation breathed a sigh of relief as peace returned to the college and university campuses. Our streets became calm again too. With the worst over, the nation rested. But communist revolution is a hungry monster and unless dealt with on a spiritual level, does not go away. It withdraws into the shadows, only to reemerge at a more opportune time. A closer look at where the revolutionaries went to hide and bide will give us some insight into how we can pray.
So, where did these revolutionaries go once they abandoned their violent lifestyles? Brown University professor Paul Buhle gives the best answer in his book Marxism in the United States. Buhle writes: “To the question: ‘Where did all the sixties radicals go?,’ the most accurate answer would be: neither to religious cults nor yuppie-dom, but to the classroom.”
The revolutionaries cleaned up, dressed up, and entered American classrooms in two phases: First, they entered classrooms as students — at Ivy League universities, to obtain degrees, mainly in law and social sciences, that would help them further their revolutionary aims. Second, they began entering classrooms as teachers and professors — effectively becoming change agents to teach the wonders of Marxist communism to American youth. (Read more here)

A Bible prophecy has been realised as the first 'red heifer in 2,000 years' was born in Israel.
The Temple Institute announced the birth on their YouTube channel and said the calf and its mother would undergo "extensive examination" to determine if it's "blemish free". In the announcement, the Institute said the red female calf "brings the promise of reinstating Biblical purity to the world".
In both Christianity and Judaism, red heifers feature in tales about the "end of times". The birth and sacrifice of the red cow is said to precede the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem. Missionaries Report Muslims Meeting Jesus in Dreams 'in Levels We Have Never Seen in 1,400 Years!'

Two Assembly of God missionaries are sharing multiple first-hand testimonies of Muslims coming to the Christian faith after encountering Jesus Christ in their dreams. James Bradford, the lead pastor at Central Assembly in Springfield, Missouri, and missionary Dick Brogden told Assemblies of God News that God is answering the prayers of Christians who are praying for Muslims. They admit any Islamic country is a dangerous place for a Christian and there are few opportunities for open evangelism. But they report Muslims are meeting Jesus in their dreams and converting to Christianity at an alarming rate. "I would even say it's the normal experience," Brogden said. "It would be accurate to say that Muslims are responding to Jesus in levels we have never seen, not in 1,400 years! Dreams are contributing to revelation (as in assurance), the process of evangelism, and conversion," he continued. "So many Muslims reject Islam but know that to follow Jesus will cost them everything. Dreams of Jesus encourage them along the way and give them the comfort that Jesus will be with them — though it cost them everything to follow Him."
Bradford shared that he was in a Muslim country meeting with church leaders from several Muslim nations. One of the leaders shared a testimony of a woman who had a dream where she saw Jesus. "A woman had left the Muslim faith, but she was full of hatred and suspicion of Christians. She didn't know what to do — she asked God for help," he explained. "One night she had a dream where she saw a shepherd, walking about an empty tomb with a staff. The shepherd walked around it a few times, and then He headed directly toward the woman. He had a loaf of bread in His hands, which He broke and offered to her and as He did, He said, 'Take, eat, this is my body.'" He went on the share that the woman, who knew nothing about the Bible, woke up and contacted a person who she knew was a Christian. "He showed her in the Bible where Jesus had said those very words.
