Federal Deficit to Double to $2 Trillion
Even as Biden Boasts Deficit-Cutting

As President Joe Biden on Monday touted his apparent deficit-cutting mettle, a nonpartisan fiscal policy research group warned of an "unprecedented" explosion in the federal budget deficit, which it said is on track to double to $2 trillion this year.

In a Labor Day speech in Philadelphia on Monday, President Biden touted his economic policies while taking a series of jabs at his predecessor, President Donald Trump.

“Unlike the last president, in my first two years ... I cut the deficit $1.7 trillion," President Biden boasted.

What President Biden failed to mention, however, is that most of the massive deficit drop in 2022 was a one-off, driven by what experts say was a one-time inflation-related explosion in tax revenue and capital gains.

And while the president touted his supposed deficit-slashing accolades, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), a nonpartisan organization that seeks to educate the public on issues with significant fiscal policy impact, projected that the deficit under the president's watch would double in 2023 to around $2 trillion.

"Deficits are slated to double this year, from $1 trillion up to $2 trillion, when you exclude student debt cancellation," CRFB senior vice president Marc Goldwein said in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
"This is unprecedented given the economy," Mr. Goldwein added, referring to the fact that it's unusual for deficits to rise so sharply when the economy is doing relatively well.

- Father, we pray for Godly governmental authority to put the brakes on this administration's fiscal irresponsibility, in Jesus name.  We ask for this wanton overspending to be hindered and call for an immediate halt to the growing destruction of our economic stability.  We speak authority to Congress to take a stand and stop this reckless spending, in Jesus name.

- "Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness:  I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger.  And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory."  (Isaiah 46:12-13)

Soros Foundation Worries Trump Will Win in 2024 and 'Imperil' Globalism

George Soros's foundation is worried that former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 election and undermine globalist "unity," while warning of supposed harms coming from a potential "MAGA-style Republican victory" more generally.

The Open Society Foundations (OSF), which Mr. Soros' 37-year-old son, Alex Soros now leads, is "adapting" so that it's able to respond to whatever political scenario emerges after the dust settles from next year's presidential election in America.
"We are adapting OSF to be able to respond to whatever scenarios might emerge, on both sides of the Atlantic," George Soros' son wrote in a recent op-ed for Politico headlined "No Soros retreat from Europe."

The op-ed came in response to news headlines claiming that the Soros foundation was "retreating" from Europe as part of a new "strategic direction" under new leadership.

In it, Mr. Alex Soros (self-avowedly "more political" than his father) clarified that the rumored exit is nothing of the sort—or not exactly. He characterized the change as a shift in priorities towards Eastern Europe that would involve a retrenchment of some operations, including "significantly" reducing headcount.

However, the younger Mr. Soros also used the opportunity of the op-ed to express his views on American politics—and fret about the prospect of a Trump victory. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- HalleluJah Holy One, we stand firmly for destruction of the "globalist unity" and pray for President Trump to be protected and empowered to lead this nation to a strong stand for our Constitution and righteousness, in Jesus name.  We thank You Father, that this nation is defined uniquely by its covenants with You, its acknowledgement of God-given rights, and individual freedoms which we will not give up.  We bind the plans of this small group of people who want to be god in order to dominate and control the world.  There is One God and He is eternal and does not change and man will never take His place.  In Jesus' Holy name.  Amen.

- "By this you know the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God," (1 John 4:2)

Iran grows stockpile of near weapons-grade
enriched uranium
Tehran has 121.6 kilograms (268 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60%, according to a new IAEA report.

Iran has continued to amass uranium enriched to near weapons-grade levels, according to an International Atomic Energy Agency report obtained by the Associated Press.

The report by the United Nations nuclear watchdog shows Tehran has 121.6 kilograms (268 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60%. In May, the IAEA placed the Islamic Republic’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium at just over 114 kilograms (250 pounds) and in February at 87.5 kilograms (192 pounds).

Uranium enriched to 60% purity is just a short technical step away from 90%, considered weapons-grade.

AP reported that Iran was still attempting to stonewall IAEA officials by denying them visas, while the “de-designation of experienced agency inspectors” was also challenging the body’s monitoring work.

Moreover, the IAEA has since February 2021 reportedly been unable to access surveillance footage from declared nuclear sites, with the only recorded data as of June last year originating from cameras at a workshop in the Iranian city of Isfahan. (JNS.org) Read more here.

- Father, we bind the plots and schemes of Iran to use nuclear weapons for death and destruction against Israel, the U.S. and anyone else that interferes with their plans.  We ask You to continue to strengthen and grow within the people of Iran who want freedom and grant them divine wisdom to know how to move forward in the changes necessary within their nation.  We break the connection between the U.S. leadership and Iran's and call for an end to the alliance, in Jesus name.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Palestinian Leader Abbas Says Hitler Only Killed Jews for ‘Social Role’ as Usurers, Slammed for Antisemitic ‘Rant’ - Algemeiner

Jewish groups, Israeli officials, and foreign diplomats on Wednesday condemned a recent antisemitic speech by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in which he claimed that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler did not hate Jews as a people but rather because of their “dealing with usury and money.”

In an address late last month to the Revolutionary Council of Fatah, the political party headed by Abbas, the Palestinian leader ran through a litany of antisemitic conspiracy theories.

“They say that Hitler killed the Jews for being Jews, and that Europe hated the Jews because they were Jews,” Abbas said. “Not true. It was clearly explained that [the Europeans] fought [the Jews] because of their social role, and not their religion. Several authors wrote about this. Even Karl Marx said this was not true. He said that the enmity was not directed at Judaism as a religion, but to Judaism for its social role.” (Read more)

2. Two wounded in stabbing attack in Jerusalem - Israel National News

One man was seriously wounded and a minor lightly wounded when they were stabbed with a butcher's knife near the Jaffa Gate outside the Old City of Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.

Police chased and arrested the suspect in the stabbing. The terrorist was identified as a 17-year-old resident of eastern Jerusalem.

One victim, a man in his 50s, is in serious condition and received medical treatment at the scene before being evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital.

A Magen David Adom spokesperson said: "At 3:23 pm, a report was received at Magen David Adom's 101 hotline in the Jerusalem region about an incident near the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem. According to preliminary reports only, a man in his 50s was stabbed. Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics are currently providing on-site medical treatment. The individual is in a serious condition. Further updates will be provided." (Read more)

3. IDF sets municipal boundaries of 3 outposts legalized in February - Jerusalem Post

The IDF on Wednesday night set the legal boundaries of three of the outposts which the government agreed to legalize as nine new settlements in February.

“Great things are happening with the settlements,” proclaimed Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionist Party).

This “government promotes a right-wing, Zionist and nationalist policy, which views the development of the settlements in Judea and Samaria as an asset to the State of Israel,” he said. (Read more)

4. US boycott continues: Senior Israeli ministers not invited to embassy New Year toast - Israel National News

The United States Embassy is scheduled to hold a toast in honor of the upcoming Jewish New Year, among those invited are the ministers in Israel's government, but ministers from two coalition parties did not receive invites.

Channel 13 on Wednesday reported that interim Ambassador to Israel Stephanie Hallett distributed invitations to the event to all of the Israeli ministers. Those who did not receive invitations were the ministers from the Religious Zionism and Otzma Yehudit parties, including Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

The decision not to invite the ministers to the event continues the Biden administration's undeclared boycott of the parties to the right of the Likud. In July, the embassy withheld invitations to its July 4th celebration from the parties' ministers.

The two parties, which have been ignored by Israel's greatest ally since the current government was sworn in, make up over 20% of the current Israeli government and were democratically elected by more than 500,000 Israelis.

The US Embassy responded to the report, stating: "The guest list includes only those who have close work ties with the embassy." (Read more)

5. Redeciphered First Temple inscription may shed light on biblical ‘Valley of Salt’ - Times of Israel

It’s not often that a researcher has occasion to combine a love of caving with a passion for ancient biblical Hebrew graffiti. So when Ariel University lecturer Dr. Asaf Gayer proposed a fun outing to his geologist colleague Boaz Langford to do just that, it was already promising to be a momentous trip.

The time was ripe to re-photograph a known paleo-Hebrew inscription in a cave near Ein Gedi, Gayer suggested. This time, the partial inscription — painted on a stalactite with carbonite ink circa the 7th century BCE —  should be photographed using multispectral imaging. Such imaging has already done wonders to reveal invisible text on pottery sherds and other engravings. Who knows?

The duo decided to invite Israel Antiquities Authority photographer Shai Halevi to join them in their quest and they went to the cave and completed their mission.

Before leaving the cave, however, Gayer decided to perform a short archaeological survey, checking in nooks and crannies.(Read more)

1. Democracy a top concern for U.S. voters - Washington Times

More than 80% of voters are worried about democracy in the U.S., according to a new poll. The Bipartisan Policy Center/Morning Consult poll found that 82% of voters are worried about democracy, and 40% said they are “very worried.”

This concern is not limited to one party – 84% of voters in each party said they are concerned about the state of democracy in the country.

The poll found that 59% of voters have very little faith in politicians learning how to work together. Among Republicans, 62% lack confidence that the parties can come up with bipartisan solutions, compared to 50% of Democrats. When asked about the economy, 67% of those surveyed said it was “very important” for both Republicans and Democrats to pass bipartisan legislation on the economy. (Read more)

2. U.S. health agency recommends easing federal restrictions on marijuana - NBC News

The Department of Health and Human Services is formally recommending that the Drug Enforcement Administration ease government restrictions on marijuana, which remains illegal at the federal level even though 40 states allow its use in some form.

The move comes 11 months after President Joe Biden ordered the top health agency to conduct a review of the drug. The recommendation is to move marijuana from what’s known as a Schedule I drug to Schedule III, under the Controlled Substances Act.

In the eyes of the DEA, cannabis is in the same category as other Schedule I drugs like heroin and LSD, meaning it’s considered to have a high potential for abuse and no accepted medical use. (Read more)

- Sovereign Lord, protect our nation from this push for drug legalization and leniency. We want to be a nation of sobriety and holiness. Expose the corporate interests lobbying for this legalization and raise up voices in the younger generation to oppose the legalization. Please open our eyes to see beyond public opinions and truly understand what’s at stake.

3. Biden's America: Majority Living Paycheck to Paycheck, Even Six-Figure Earners Overwhelmed - The Western Journal

A new report said a majority of Americans are just squeaking by as a mountain of debt grows taller and taller.

As of July, 61 percent of adults in a LendingClub survey said they were living paycheck to paycheck, according to CNBC. The study found that 78 percent of consumers who earn under $50,000 a year and 65 percent of those who make between $50,000 and $100,000 annually were living paycheck to paycheck in July.

Forty-four percent of those earning more than $100,000 a year were living check to check, the study said. “Consumers are undoubtedly continuing to feel the impact of inflation and rising interest rates,” said Chris Fred, the head of TD Bank’s credit cards and unsecured lending. (Read more)

4. No defendants in Fulton County election case to appear for arraignment, after all plead not guilty - Just The News

Former President Donald Trump and his 18 defendants indicted in Georgia's Fulton County last month on charges related to the 2020 election all pleaded not guilty and waived their arraignments, which means that none will appear before a superior court judge for their originally scheduled arraignments Wednesday.

The judge overseeing the case, Fulton Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, had scheduled the arraignments in 15-minute intervals, with Trump's first at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Each of the defendants individually waived their right to appear, which is allowed under Georgia law and expected due to the fact that most of them live out of state, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Because no defendant is set to make an in-person appearance, McAfee scheduled a hearing Wednesday afternoon on motions from defendants and former Trump attorneys Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell to sever their parts of the case from the other 17 codefendants. (Read more)

5. Judge orders Texas to remove floating border barriers, granting Biden administration request - CBS News

A federal judge in Austin on Wednesday ordered Texas to remove river barriers that the state assembled along a stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border to repel migrants, giving the Biden administration an early victory in its lawsuit against the buoys approved by Republican Gov. Greg Abbott.

Senior U.S. District Court Judge David Ezra issued a preliminary injunction directing Texas officials to remove the floating border barriers from the middle of the Rio Grande by Sept. 15, at the state's own expense. He also prohibited the state from setting up similar structures in the middle of the Rio Grande, the international boundary between the U.S. and Mexico in Texas.

In a statement, Abbott's office said Texas would appeal the ruling. "Today's court decision merely prolongs President Biden's willful refusal to acknowledge that Texas is rightfully stepping up to do the job that he should have been doing all along. This ruling is incorrect and will be overturned on appeal," the office said. (Read more)

Lord God, if the federal government is not going to take care of our border issues, it is only right that the states take matters into their own hands, and do what is right to protect their citizens. We pray for this governor, Lord that you would give him fresh ideas and wisdom on how to handle the situation. And we pray for the Biden administration, Lord God, and these judges, that they would do what is right to protect our country in Jesus name amen. Amen.

6. Prosecutors seeking new indictment for Hunter Biden before end of September - AP News

Federal prosecutors plan to seek a grand jury indictment of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter before the end of the month, according to court documents filed Wednesday.

The filing came in a gun possession case in which Hunter Biden was accused of having a firearm while being a drug user, though prosecutors did not name exactly which charges they will seek. He has also been under investigation by federal prosecutors for his business dealings.

Hunter Biden’s lawyers, though, argued that prosecutors are barred from filing additional charges under an agreement the two sides previously reached in the gun case. It contains an immunity clause against federal prosecutions for some other potential crimes. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell said Hunter Biden has kept to the terms of the deal, including regular visits by the probation office. (Read more)

- Lord God, we continue to cover this situation in prayer. We thank you for those that are choosing to stand up for righteousness and justice, and bring down those that are using and abusing their position of power for their own personal gain. We declare that those involved with these games will be held accountable in Jesus name amen.

7. Trump suffers big loss in E. Jean Carroll defamation case, judge says he’s liable - CNBC

A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that Donald Trump is civilly liable for defamatory statements he made about writer E. Jean Carroll in 2019 when she went public with claims he had raped her decades earlier.
Judge Lewis Kaplan, as part of that ruling, said the upcoming trial for Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump will only deal with the question of how much the former president should pay her in monetary damages for defaming her.

Normally, a jury would determine at trial whether a defendant is liable for civil damages claimed by a plaintiff.
But Kaplan found that Carroll was entitled to a partial summary judgment on the question of Trump’s liability in the case.

He cited the fact that jurors at a trial in a separate but related lawsuit in May found that Trump sexually abused Carroll in a New York department store in the mid-1990s, and defamed her in statements he made when he denied her allegation last fall. (Read more)

- Lord we cover Donald Trump, his legal team, his lawyers, his advisers, and his family right now in the blood of Jesus. We continue to pray, and push back the principalities and powers that are working behind the scenes to bring this man down with endless lawsuits and financial issues, and we break their powers now in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that nothing will stop God‘s plan. Nothing will stop the move of God , in Jesus name. And we just thank you, Lord that you are coming through for Donald Trump in Jesus name amen.

- “Rise up, LORD, confront them, bring them down; with your sword rescue me from the wicked.” (Psalm 17:13)

The U.S. Air Force and Space Force collaborated on a test missile launch Wednesday amid rising tensions with North Korea.

Air Force Global Strike Command test launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

Stupidocrisy: Transmania In Corporate America

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, September 6, 2023

Transmania in corporate America is over the top. Leading the way is what once was the entertainment “go to” for American children, which has now become a not so subtle promoter of child sexual grooming. Yes, Disney. On August 25, the Libs of TikTok, a conservative group often accused of hate speech and false claims especially by the LGBTQ+ community, posted pictures of bearded men dressed as women greeting children at Disney attractions. In May, a video went viral of a Disney man dressed as a woman helping little girls “glam up” as Disney princesses. Breitbart reports 15 times where Disney promoted grooming children for the LGBTQ+ agenda in movies, TV shows and other programming.

On August 22, Vogue posted on its website, “Since its inception in 2018, the annual Vogue 25 list has celebrated the influential women pushing British society forwards – and this year’s list is not only dazzlingly impressive, but comprised of trailblazers finding success wholly on their own terms.” Then it went on to list professional cyclist Emily Bridges, who is not a woman, saying, “Before May this year, she only had one goal: competing for Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Then the British Cycling Federation banned transgender athletes from the sport. Now, the Welsh 22-year-old is fighting for inclusion for herself and other transgender sportspeople.” This follows other publications like Sports Illustrated, Time and USA Today recognizing men as women in this era of transmania. Drug Smuggler Caught with $650k in Cocaine Near Illegal Alien Housing Development
·       Liberty County law enforcement captured and detained a drug smuggler armed with a handgun and carrying an estimated $650,000 worth of cocaine in a spare tire.

·       Sydnie Henry reports that the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is being “tight-lipped” about the investigation that began as a traffic stop.

·       According to the Bluebonnet News, “A Ford Raptor driven by a Hispanic male was stopped for traffic violations by the Criminal Interdiction Unit for the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at the intersection of SH 146 and SH 105 in Moss Hill.”

·       Todd Bensman, a senior fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies,  highlighted that this stop occurred “In Liberty County Texas, 20 minutes drive from Colony Ridge, which is said to be the largest illegal immigrant community in America where law enforcement tells me Mexican drug cartels operate with relative impunity.”

·       Notably, “Colony Ridge Communities”—the land development company responsible for providing loans for the construction of one of the largest illegal alien settlements in America—is funded by one of Gov. Greg Abbott’s major donors. In the past, the development has been associated with the Gulf and Sinaloa cartels.

Chip Roy Doubles Down on Defunding DHS
Over Border Policies
·       U.S. Rep. Chip Roy has doubled down on his effort to withhold funding from President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security because it failed to act on the open U.S.-Mexico border problem. Soli Rice has the details

·       When the agency’s funding expires this fall, Roy wants the U.S. House to invoke its “power of the purse” to withhold all funding until the border crisis is addressed.

·       “‘We can’t do anything until next election cycle’ is not good enough, period. Time for action,” said Roy.

Mom Teaches Parents To Audit School Libraries for Explicit Books

A Texas mom is teaching parents how to identify sexually explicit books that need to be removed from their children’s schools, as a new law to prohibit smut in students’ libraries and classrooms is pending in court.

Christin Bentley is presenting workshops across the state explaining, “How to Audit School Libraries for Sexually Explicit, Pervasively Vulgar, and Educationally Unsuitable Materials.”

Bentley is a parent and pro-family education advocate who serves on the Texas GOP’s State Republican Executive Committee.

As chair of the SREC’s Stop Sexualizing Texas Kids legislative committee, Bentley led a successful grassroots effort supporting House Bill 900, which prohibits sexually explicit materials in Texas schools.

Bentley’s “Filthy Books” campaign opened the eyes of lawmakers in both parties to the need to clean up kids’ school libraries.

Bentley now holds in-person and online workshops statewide, teaching parents and community members how to identify unsuitable books in their local schools.

In addition to the training, Bentley prepared a toolkit and a list of about 400 titles that are likely to require removal under HB 900.

“Parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens have the opportunity to work with their public school district administrators to help identify materials that are now prohibited,” said Bentley. “Our Republican and conservative clubs across the state can provide support.”

The Texas Freedom Coalition, which Bentley founded and formerly headed, is also helping families audit their local school libraries. (Texas Scorecard) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You for this amazing work being done by Christin Bentley to help purge all sexually explicit materials from the libraries in the State of Texas.
We ask that her own passion to see this task accomplished would ignite the hearts of other mothers in all of our other 49 other states to also clean up those libraries, too. We ask that Your hand of protection would rest upon Ms. Bentley, her family, and all who are working with her in the State of Texas. In Your Name, amen and amen!

- Please claim PSALM 91 over Christin Bentley. Thank you.

Stunning new images reveal Ring Nebula in unprecedented detail
(CNN) — The James Webb Space Telescope has revealed colorful new portraits of the iconic Ring Nebula.

The new images capture the complex details of the planetary nebula, an enormous cloud of cosmic gas and dust that’s home to the remnants of a dying star.

The two images were taken in different wavelengths of infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye, using instruments on the space observatory. Webb previously captured a different perspective on the Ring Nebula, as well as the similar-looking Southern Ring Nebula.

A longtime favorite of astronomers, the Ring Nebula has been studied for years due to its observability and the insight it can provide into the lifetime of stars. It is located in the Lyra constellation more than 2,000 light-years from Earth, but on clear evenings during the summer, sky gazers using binoculars can see it. Read More
The Good News Corner
Coach Joe Kennedy's Triumphant Return to Midfield:

'God Called Him for Such a Time as This'
As football returned over the Labor Day weekend, so did a sign of religious freedom in America. Here in Washington state, Coach Joe Kennedy took a knee and prayed at midfield. CBN News was on hand for the momentous occasion. It looked like your normal Friday night high school football game, with one major exception. After enduring an 8-year fight to publicly pray after games, a Supreme Court decision put Bremerton Assistant Football Coach Joe Kennedy back on the sidelines. That ruling meant that he could exercise his First Amendment right to pray. Shortly after the game ended, Kennedy stood at the 50 yard-line at Bremerton Memorial Stadium, took a knee, and bowed his head in prayer.  Afterward, the coach told a throng of waiting reporters what he prayed. "I said 'thank You' probably 30 times," he shared. "I had no other words. What do you say to the One who got me here to begin with?" He referred to the lawsuit against the Bremerton School District, filed after he was fired for publicly praying.

The Supreme Court ruled last year that the district had violated his constitutional rights. "What we asked for from the Supreme Court and all the courts was just to be able to be a coach, and to be able to pray after a football game," Kennedy stated. He added, "What an awesome way to come back after an eight-year battle." It has not been easy. Victory came with pain and suffering, even threatening his marriage. That's because his wife, Denise, was head of Human Resources for the school district. Her husband was in a tough spot, for sure. So, one year into the legal battle, their marriage hit rock bottom. Then, the Lord opened Denise's eyes. "I realized that God is in this," she explained. "It's not my husband. It's not my husband's desire for the center of attention for this situation. It is God. God called him for such a time as this. And to walk on that same narrow path together. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. And that is what's gotten us through this," Denise insisted. "Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Psalm 29:2

Lyrics:
Down at the cross where my Savior died,
Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His name!

Refrain
Glory to His name, glory to His name:
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His name!

Refrain

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today, and be made complete;
Glory to His name!

Refrain
