A mob of Turkish nationalists attacked U.S. Marines in western Turkey on Monday, resulting in the arrests of 15 people.
The incident took place in Izmir, which is located on Turkey's Aegean coast. In a statement, the Izmir governor's office said the assailants belonged to the Youth Union of Turkey, which is connected to the nationalist Vatan Party.
The governor said that the victims, who were assigned to the USS Wasp, were "physically attacked." The service members were identified as "soldiers" by authorities, but are U.S. Marines.
Video posted to social media showed service members in civilian clothing yelling for help as they were restrained by a group of anti-American men. (Fox News) Read more here.

The father of an Israeli-American hostage still being held by Hamas demanded a "negotiated agreement with Satan" soon, as President Biden and Vice President Harris head into the Situation Room with the U.S. negotiating team.
"It is absolutely clear, the only way to get hostages home alive is by some kind of negotiated agreement with Satan," Jonathan Dekel-Chen, whose son Sagui is still being held in Gaza following Hamas' Oct. 7 attack, said in an interview with "Fox & Friends" Monday morning. "Keeping in mind that all of Israel’s military and intelligence, senior command have been saying for weeks if not months the fighting needs to stop in order to get the hostages back, as many as possible alive, but all of the 101 hostages remaining."
There are seven U.S. citizens still being held by Hamas as hostages, including four believed to be still alive, and three whose murders have already been confirmed, Dekel-Chen noted.
"As far as messaging to the Israeli government, my government, it’s that the time is over for selling, perpetuating this fantasy of total victory over Hamas based on the sacrifice of our sons, daughters, grandparents who are hostages in Gaza," Dekel-Chen said. "We’ve been at this for 11 months, hearing from our government that a little more military pressure and a little more military pressure is going to cause Hamas to come begging for an agreement in exchange for our hostages. Clearly, that has not happened. Six bodies were returned yesterday of hostages who were alive until this past week. Trump clarifies he will vote ‘no’ on Florida’s radical pro-abortion amendment
|

(LifeSiteNews) — Former President and 2024 Republican White House nominee Donald Trump confirmed Friday afternoon that he will be voting against an amendment to enshrine abortion-on-demand in the Florida Constitution, a day after hinting that he would support it.
On Thursday, after months of refusing to share his opinion on the amendment and predicting it would succeed, Trump incurred outrage from already-dismayed pro-lifers when he told NBC News, “I think the six-week is too short, there has to be more time,” referring to the state’s heartbeat-based abortion ban, and that he was “going to be voting that we need more than six weeks.”
That answer provoked a wave of declarations on social media and relayed to pro-life activists from pro-lifers who would no longer vote or volunteer for Trump, prompting the campaign to quickly issue a statement that “President Trump has not yet said how he will vote on the ballot initiative in Florida, he simply reiterated that he believes six weeks is too short.”
The clarification gave some hope to pro-lifers, prompting speculation that the former president might not have been aware of the amendment’s details. The next day, he told Fox News, “The Democrats are radical, because the nine months is just a ridiculous situation. All of that stuff is unacceptable. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hit back at US President Joe Biden after the American leader claimed he has not worked hard enough to secure a ceasefire and hostage deal between the Jewish state and the Hamas terrorist group.
Netanyahu spoke to reporters on Monday, insisting that he has worked tirelessly to achieve an end to the war in Gaza and free the remaining hostages from the clutches of Hamas, which kidnapped the captives during the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 onslaught across southern Israel.
“I want to set the record straight,” Netanyahu said. “On April 27, [US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken] said that Israel has made an extraordinarily generous offer for a hostage deal. On May 31, Israel agreed to a US-backed proposal. Hamas refused. On Aug. 16, Israel agreed to what the US defined as a final bridging proposal. Hamas refused again. On Aug. 19, Secretary Blinken said, ‘Israel accepted the US proposal; now Hamas must do the same.’ On Aug. 28 — that’s five days ago, five days ago — [Deputy CIA Director David Cohen] said that ‘Israel shows seriousness in the negotiations. TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday pushed back against a new wave of pressure to reach a cease-fire deal in Gaza after hundreds of thousands of Israelis protested and went on strike and U.S. President Joe Biden said he needed to do more after nearly 11 months of fighting.
In his first public address since Sunday’s mass protests showed many Israelis’ furious response to the discovery of six more dead hostages, Netanyahu said he will continue to insist on a demand that has emerged as a major sticking point in talks — continued Israeli control of the Philadelphi corridor, a narrow band along Gaza’s border with Egypt where Israel contends Hamas smuggles weapons into Gaza. Egypt and Hamas deny it.
Netanyahu called the corridor vital to ensuring Hamas cannot rearm via tunnels. “This is the oxygen of Hamas,” he said. (Read more)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday called the British government’s partial suspension of arms sales to Israel a “shameful decision” that won’t stop the Jewish state’s determination to defeat Hamas.
“Days after Hamas executed six Israeli hostages, the UK government suspended thirty arms licenses to Israel,” the premier posted on X.
“This shameful decision will not change Israel’s determination to defeat Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization that savagely murdered 1,200 people on October 7, including 14 British citizens,” he continued. (Read more)

4. Terrorists hide explosive device inside baby carriage in Tulkarm - Israel National News
Avichay Adraee, the head of the Arab media division of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, on Tuesday shared a photo of an explosive device that was hidden inside a baby carriage in Tulkarm.
"Palestinian terrorists exploit the civilian population and exploit roads and infrastructure - but the ones who pay the price are the citizens," Adraee wrote.
He appealed to the residents of Tulkarm and added, "It's time for the population to tell these terrorist thugs, enough, stay away from us." (Read more)

5. Hundreds throng Western Wall to pray for unity, hostages - JNS
Hundreds of worshippers packed Jerusalem’s Western Wall on Monday evening to participate in a special prayer service for the unity of the nation and the safe return of the remaining hostages.
The event took place as thousands lined the streets of the capital to attend the funeral of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, one of six Israeli hostages executed last week by Hamas in Gaza that left Israelis grief-stricken and angry.
The prayer, which was led and organized by Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu and included the father of a fallen soldier, as well as family members of the hostages, had been planned in advance but took on added significance due to the weekend’s news of their deaths. (Read more)

1. Biden Admin Looks To Open Up 31 Million Acres For Solar After Locking Up Oil, Gas In Huge Swath Of Alaska – Daily Caller
The Biden administration proposed to open up tens of millions of acres of public lands to solar development on Thursday after cementing restrictions on oil and gas activity across large swaths of Alaska.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rolled out its proposed “Western Solar Plan,” which would put approximately 31 million acres across 11 western states on the table for possible solar development. The agency’s solar plan comes on the heels of its Tuesday announcement that it had finalized protections for 28 million acres of public land in Alaska that will effectively prohibit oil and gas activity on that acreage.
“The updated Western Solar Plan is a responsible, pragmatic strategy for developing solar energy on our nation’s public lands that supports national clean energy goals and long-term national energy security,” BLM Director Tracy Stone-Manning said of the Western Solar Plan. “It will drive responsible solar development to locations with fewer potential conflicts while helping the nation transition to a clean energy economy, furthering the BLM’s mission to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.” (Read more)

2. Dem Defending Walz’s Military Record Has His Own History Of Claiming Honor He Never Earned – Daily Caller
Democratic Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland falsely claimed on an application to have been awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his Army service in Afghanistan in 2006, according to The New York Times.
Moore claimed to have received the honor on a White House fellowship application in 2006, and has failed to correct television hosts who have wrongly introduced him as a recipient of the award in the past, the New York Times reported. Moore, who has also defended Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz amid his accusations of stolen valor, called the discrepancy an “honest mistake” and expressed regret for not correcting his application, according to a statement from Thursday.
“I was encouraged to fill out an application for the White House Fellowship by my deputy brigade commander,” Moore said in a statement. “In fact, he helped me edit it before I sent it in. At the time, he had recommended me for the Bronze Star. He told me to include the Bronze Star award on my application after confirming with two other senior-level officers that they had also signed off on the commendation.”
“Still, I sincerely wish I had gone back to correct the note on my application,” Moore continued. “It was an honest mistake, and I regret not making that correction.” (Read more)

3. ‘Insolvent And Foolish’: Biden-Harris Admin Gives Millions To High-Speed Rail Project That Has Been Stalled For Years – Daily Caller
The Biden administration granted over $60 million to Amtrak for a stalling Texas high-speed rail project that has been failing to acquire private investment, according to grant records.
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) granted $63.9 million on August 2 to Amtrak for the Texas High-Speed Rail Corridor project, which has been mired by delays since 2022 under private railroad company Texas Central, with top executives resigning as the initial private funding ran dry. The grant comes after a long line of funding from the federal government to Amtrak in pursuit of high-speed rail, with the FRA last granting $500,000 for the Texas project in December 2023 to study a Dallas-Houston high-speed rail connection.
“The federal budget deficit approaches $2 trillion, our national debt exceeds $35 trillion, and the White House is wasting scarce federal taxpayer dollars on this controversial, failing, insolvent and foolish $40 billion Amtrak pork project,” John Sitilides, federal affairs advisor to ReRoute the Route, a Texas coalition opposed to the use of taxpayer funds on the project and its current alignment, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “The White House would better spend that $64 million [sic] to build or repair schools, hire hundreds of border patrol agents, or deliver health care to thousands of veterans in need.”
The project’s original budget of $10 billion has increased significantly, with estimates putting the price tag at $40 billion, according to a study by the Reason Foundation in 2023. (Read more)

Ballot Integrity Key Issue in Upcoming Election

Three areas will control whether your vote counts in the upcoming presidential election: Whether voter identification is required to vote; if voter rolls are up to date; and if ballots can be authenticated. In non-voter ID states and those allowing ballot drop boxes, the prohibition of updating voter rolls is comes into play. Unqualified voters—such as illegal aliens and dead people—can pose as someone and cast their votes without authentication. States leaning or voting for Democratic Party presidential candidates have these methods written into law. However, Ohio, Virginia, Alabama and Texas are taking initiative to purge voter rolls, but they only represent 79 of the 270 electoral votes needed to be president.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, announced August 26 that the state has “removed over one million people from the state’s voter rolls, including people who moved out-of-state, are deceased, and are noncitizens.” The list consisted of dead people, noncitizens, felons and other unqualified registrants and thousands had voting histories. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, also a Republican, announced August 7 that the state had removed nearly 80,000 dead voters and 6,303 noncitizens from the voter rolls. Alabama’s Republican Secretary of State has removed over 3,500 noncitizens from the voter rolls. In May, Ohio’s Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose directed county board of elections officials to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls. So far 137 have been removed. Harris Arab outreach director: ‘Zionists’ control US politics

Vice President Kamala Harris recently appointed an Arab-American outreach director who once accused “Zionists” of “controlling a lot” of American politics, The Washington Free Beacon reported on Thursday.
The Harris campaign last week tapped Brenda Abdelall, the Department of Homeland Security assistant secretary of partnership and engagement, to oversee efforts to win support among Arab-American voters.
“The Zionists have a strong voice in American politics. … I would say they’re controlling a lot of it,” Abdelall told The New York Sun in 2002, while attending the American Muslim Council’s annual convention in Washington, the Beacon revealed.
She suggested that the election defeat of former congressman Earl Hilliard Sr. (D-Ala.) “shows the Jewish influence in politics,” according to the Sun.
The Sun also interviewed Abdelall’s mother, Mona, who founded the American Muslim Council’s Ann Arbor, Mich., branch. She agreed with her daughter regarding “Zionist” influence. (JNS.org) Read more here.

The Senate race in Michigan has emerged as a much bigger Republican pickup opportunity than originally imagined as former Rep. Mike Rogers recently tied his Democrat opponent with a key group, according to a new poll.
Michigan Republican strategist Jason Cabel Roe was not initially expecting the Republican traction that Rogers is now seeing in the state due to Michigan's recent history of electing primarily Democrat senators.
GOP operatives have agreed that the Michigan race's status has come as a welcome surprise.
"It seems like Michigan may be a little bit more competitive than Ohio," a senior Republican strategist told Fox News Digital, remarking that races in West Virginia, Montana and Ohio have been traditionally understood as the best Republican opportunities this cycle.
"What I've seen shows that Michigan is extremely competitive," he explained.
The seat is currently occupied by outgoing Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich.
In a new AARP-commissioned Michigan poll, Rogers is tied with Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., among voters over 50 years old, 46%-46%. With all voters, the race remains tight, with Slotkin slightly ahead, 47% to 44%.
Bob Ward, a partner with the bipartisan polling team Fabrizio Ward, said it is "definitely a battleground Senate race." (Fox News) Read more here.

This is Sunday, and I’m coming to you right after Hezbollah intended a major missile barrage, with thousands of missiles and drones, but the IDF actually preempted it during the night.
You can hear some of the calls to prayer from the mosques around us. It often tends to get louder at times that serious things are going on here. And today, it’s amazing what God did to protect Israel.

And I just want to share with you a scripture that we claimed yesterday here, and then I’ll explain the news of what just happened. The scripture yesterday that God brought out so strongly on Saturday in the watch here was Psalm 29, starting at verse three:

Special Article #1: Officials Can’t Reject Mail-In Ballots With Incorrect Dates: Pennsylvania Court - The Post Millenial
Election officials cannot reject mail-in ballots with incorrect dates or no dates, as long as the ballots were submitted before the filing deadline, a Pennsylvania court has ruled.
A panel of the Commonwealth Court, a state appeals court, ruled on Aug. 30 that the requirement in the law for mail-in ballot envelopes to have dates written on them violates the Pennsylvania Constitution.
“Simply put, the refusal to count undated or incorrectly dated but timely received mail ballots submitted by otherwise eligible voters because of meaningless and inconsequential paperwork errors violates the fundamental right to vote recognized in and guaranteed by the free and equal elections clause of the Pennsylvania Constitution,” Commonwealth Court Judge Ellen Ceisler wrote for the 4–1 majority.
The ruling applies in Philadelphia and Allegheny counties.
The law in question, Act 77 of 2019, featured some updates to the mail-in ballot system, including a provision that requires voters to date the envelope in which the mail-in ballots are enclosed.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) challenged that and other provisions, arguing that they are unconstitutional as they filed suit against Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt, the Philadelphia County Board of Elections, and the Allegheny County Board of Elections. (Read more)

Special Article #2: Elon Musk warns that freedom of speech is under worldwide attack - The Post Millenial
Elon Musk warned that free speech across the world is under attack. This comes as multiple examples of censorship around the globe have popped up in recent weeks. Musk's platform X has been banned in Brazil, the Telegram founder was arrested, and Mark Zuckerberg let the cat out of the bag that the Biden-Harris administration pressured Facebook to suppress information related to COVID-19.
Musk posted in response to an old clip of Kamala Harris vouching to suspend Donald Trump's then-Twitter account in 2019, "Freedom of speech is under massive attack around the world."
"I, frankly, think that based on this and all we’ve seen [Trump] do before, including attacking members of Congress, that he, frankly, should be – his Twitter account should be suspended. I think there is plenty of now evidence to suggest that he is irresponsible with his words in a way that could result in harm to other people. And so the privilege of using those words in that way should probably be taken from him," Harris said at the time.
The warning from Musk comes amid several major signs of censorship on the world stage. Yesterday, Brazil banned X from the country entirely and will impose fines of about $8,900 on people who access X through a VPN. Earlier this month, Musk closed down X's offices in Brazil, with the company and Musk saying that the government was threatening to arrest an employee at the company.
In addition to this, Telegram founder Pavel Durov was arrested in France in connection to illegal activity that happens on Telegram without oversight. This is due to the end-to-end encryption network that it uses, and it has become known as a platform for free speech. (Read more)

‘Extremely rare and unusual’ 2,700-year-old artifact discovered in Jerusalem

Archaeologists have discovered an “extremely rare and unusual” ancient stone amulet in Jerusalem that could change our understanding of reading and writing in antiquity.
“The seal, made of black stone, is one of the most beautiful ever discovered in excavations in ancient Jerusalem,” Yuval Baruch and Navot Rom, directors of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), said in a statement, Fox News reported.
The artifact was found in the Davidson Archaeological Garden during a joint excavation by the Israel Antiquities Authority and the City of David Foundation, the Times Of Israel reported. Estimated to be around 2,700 years old, the item is one of the oldest finds since excavations began in the country.
The trinket was notably inscribed with the paleo-Hebrew phrase, “Le Yehoʼezer ben Hoshʼayahu,” meaning “For Yeho’ezer son of Hosh’ayahu” — referring to two prominent men who may have lived between the 10th and 6th centuries BCE. The words were in mirror writing — the reverse of the language’s natural direction — so the seal could be used to press words into wax.
Meanwhile, a small hole in the stone indicates that it could be threaded with a string or chain.
From this, experts deduced that the trinket belonged to a high-ranking official in the Kingdom of Judah who used the seal to sign documents and also wore it as a protective talisman around their neck.
Perhaps most significant was a depiction of a winged figure whose presence and design is seemingly influenced by the Assyrians who ruled Judah at the time.
“This is an extremely rare and unusual discovery,” exclaimed IAA archaeologist and Assyriologist Dr. Filip Vukosavovic. “This is the first time that a winged ‘genie’ – a protective magical figure – has been found in Israeli and regional archaeology.” Read More

Kirk Cameron hosts story hour in push for new 'great awakening' in America

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Actor Kirk Cameron is hoping that the children’s books he's written will help usher in a “great awakening” in the United States, which he sees as necessary to reverse the moral decline engulfing the country. Cameron, best known for starring in the 1980s sitcom “Growing Pains,” held a story hour at the James M. Duncan Branch of the Alexandria Public Library on Saturday to read a children’s book that he wrote in collaboration with the publisher Brave Books. His event at the library, located just outside Washington, D.C., was one of three locations he spoke at throughout the state of Virginia on Saturday. The other stops were in Stone Ridge and Stephens City, which are still located in northern Virginia but further away from the city. Cameron has written three children’s books for Brave Books: As You Grow, Pride Comes Before the Fall and The Fox, The Fair and the Invention Scare. The books stress the importance of acknowledging the fruit of the spirit, humility and loving your enemies, respectively.
He read Pride Comes Before the Fall to the dozens of families gathered at the library in Alexandria. Before reading the children’s book, Cameron led the crowd in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing “God Bless America.” As he read the book, pages from the story appeared on a screen in the background. He concluded the story hour with a prayer and encouraged the children in the audience to make friends with one another. Cameron elaborated on what motivated him to get involved in writing children’s books in an interview with The Christian Post. “I’m actually a grandfather now,” he said. “As a grandfather and as a father of six children, I care a lot about what we do in our generation because it will determine so much of what our children live with, the world that they’ll grow up in,” Cameron added. “I want to ... write books and talk to people for as long as I can about turning their hearts toward God, turning their hearts back toward their home, raising their children, not outsourcing their parenting to government institutions that have lesser goals and motives for those children than their own parents do.”
