The Trump campaign, the 45th president and Gold Star families launched a scathing defense attack against Vice President Kamala Harris over Labor Day weekend, after the Democratic nominee claimed that Trump had "disrespected sacred ground" at Arlington National Cemetery.
"You should be ashamed and embarrassed [about] your lack of empathy and decency as a human being," Darren Hoover, the father of Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, said in a video shared by Trump and directed at Harris. "You are only in this for the power and prestige. You don't care for our military or the citizens of this country.
Hoover was one of eight Gold Star family members who recorded video messages published on Trump’s X account slamming Harris for claiming that Trump had "disrespected sacred ground" last week at Arlington National Cemetery on the anniversary of the Biden-Harris’s administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 U.S. service members killed.
Trump joined Gold Star families at the national cemetery in Virginia last Monday for a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the 13 service members who were killed during the terrorist attack at Abbey Gate outside Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021. (Fox News) Read more here.

Hamas terrorists killed six hostages Saturday, including Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, as Israel Defense Forces closed in for a rescue attempt in the tunnels deep below Gaza's Rafah.
Goldberg-Polin's family confirmed his death early Sunday. His body was one of six recovered on Saturday. The IDF revealed that Hamas killed the hostages, who had been held for nearly 11 months, just as they were on the brink of freedom.
"According to our initial assessment, they were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before we reached them," IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a statement.
Goldberg-Polin, 23, was abducted at a music festival in southern Israel during Hamas' Oct. 7 attack against the Jewish State. He lost part of his left arm to a grenade in the attack. His body was recovered Saturday in the tunnels under Rafah, along with Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi and Master Sergeant Ori Danino. (Read more)

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. urged President Biden and Israel to take action against Iran after six more hostages were killed, calling Vice President Harris a "wrecking ball on foreign policy."
Appearing on ABC's "This Week," Graham reacted to the news that Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin was among the six hostages whom the Israel Defense Forces reported finding brutally murdered by Hamas as Israeli forces were close to rescuing them.
"Heartbroken. Yeah. Devastated. Mad. John and Rachel have done everything in their power to help their son be released from captivity after 11 months of captivity," Graham said, referencing Goldberg-Polin's parents. "He was murdered by Hamas. Hamas [couldn't] care less about the hostages or the Palestinians. And if you want the hostages home, which we all do, you have to increase the cost to Iran."
"Iran is the Great Satan here. Hamas is the junior partner. They're barbaric, religious Nazis, Hamas," Graham continued. "They [couldn't] care less about the Palestinian people. I would urge the Biden administration and Israel to hold Iran accountable for the fate of remaining hostages, and put on the target list oil refineries in Iran if the hostages are not released."

Holy One, while war-mongering is not an issue to be trifled with, in this matter we need to force a full-stop to the cruel, violence of Hamas against the hostages, in Jesus name, and perhaps this is a viable strategy. We pray that You would be in the center of this situation and protect the hostages and rescuers. We ask You to grant PM Netanyahu and the IDF an authority from on high that will allow them to compel Hamas via Iran to release all LIVING hostages, in Jesus holy name.

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is looking for an "escape hatch" ahead of next Tuesday's ABC News presidential debate, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller told Fox News.
Harris' team has notably pushed to tweak the rules surrounding microphones during the debate, slated for Sept. 10, backtracking on formerly solidified agreements to have muted mics during the opposing candidate's speaking time.
Now, her campaign stands accused of looking for a way out.
"They're afraid," Miller told "Sunday Morning Futures" guest host Sean Duffy.
"They don't want to put Kamala Harris out there, and you want to know why? Because she's going to have to answer for every bit of this last three and a half years. You can't talk about turning the page when you're the one who broke the economy, broke the border, broke the world, but that's on Kamala, and she's going to have to account for that when she's on the debate stage."
The Harris campaign has still refused to sign off on the rules already agreed upon for the upcoming debate, which were initially supposed to mirror the guidelines outlined for the CNN debate held between former President Trump and President Biden in June.
"The memo sent by ABC is a draft set of rules that both campaigns need to sign off on and indicate agreement. We have not done so because we think both candidates have expressed a clear desire to have hot mics. Not clear why Trump staff is overruling their principal, who should be capable of making up his own mind," Harris spokesperson Brian Fallon wrote in an X post on Thursday. (Fox News) Read more here.

1. IDF Recovers Six Hostages’ Bodies From Southern Gaza - Algemeiner
JNS.org – Israeli forces recovered the bodies of six hostages from an underground tunnel in Rafah in southern Gaza overnight Saturday.
The hostages were identified as Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, Eden Yerushalmi, 24, Almog Sarusi, 25, Alexander Lobanov, 32, Carmel Gat, 40, and Master Sgt. Ori Danino, 25.
“A few hours ago, we informed the families that the bodies of their loved ones had been located by Israel Defense Forces troops in a tunnel in Rafah. According to our initial assessment, they were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before we reached them,” said IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.
All six were kidnapped alive during the Hamas-led assault on the northwestern Negev on Oct. 7. (Read more)

2. Bereaved families march in Jerusalem: 'Don't let Sinwar win' - Israel National News
Bereaved families from the Heroes Forum and their supporters marched outside the cabinet meeting on Monday morning to push back on pressure to stop the war and give in to Hamas' demands.
During the march, demonstrators called on the Prime Minister and his ministers not to provide Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar with the victory that he has been trying to achieve.
The march left the Heroes Tent, which was set up a few months ago across the street from Cinema City in Jerusalem. (Read more)

3. Israelis take to streets to demand hostage deal - Israel Hayom
A wave of protests swept across Israel on Monday, with tens of thousands of demonstrators taking to the streets in dozens of locations nationwide in reaction to Sunday's news of six hostages whose bodies were recovered from Gaza. From Rosh Pina in the north to the Negev in the south, protesters united in their call for government action to negotiate the return of hostages held in Gaza. Clashes erupted on the Ayalon Highway Tel Aviv, with protesters blocking parts of it.
Organizers from the Hostages and Missing Families Forum released an extensive list of demonstration sites nationwide. Rallies were planned in Haifa and its suburban Krayot area, along the Sea of Galilee shores, in Kiryat Tivon and surrounding areas, Zichron Yaakov, Pardes Hanna-Karkur junction, and outside the Prime Minister's residence in Caesarea, scheduled for 7:30 PM.
The protest map extended to Hadera, Yaqum, and Bazra in central Israel, Latrun junction, Raanana, and Kfar Hayarok in the Sharon region. Tel Aviv's Begin Bridge was set to host demonstrators from noon, while Jerusalem, the Eshkol Regional Council, Gedera, and Beersheba were also marked for protest actions. (Read more)

4. Former Israeli prime minister signs deal with Arafat relative to partition Jerusalem - World Israel News
A former Israeli premier has joined with a former senior Palestinian Authority official and relative of the late Palestine Liberation Organization chief Yasser Arafat to promote a final status agreement between Jerusalem and Ramallah that would include the partitioning of Israel’s capital city.
According to a report by Channel 12‘s Palestinian affairs analyst Ehud Yaari, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently signed a proposal for a final status agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Olmert was joined in signing off on the deal by Nasser al-Qidwa, the former Palestinian Authority foreign affairs minister and nephew of the late Palestine Liberation Organization chairman and PA chief Yasser Arafat.
The proposed deal outlines the parameters of a future Palestinian state and peace deal normalizing relations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. (Read more)

5. Three wounded by Hezbollah anti-tank missile; 30 rockets fired at north on Sunday - Times of Israel
A Hezbollah anti-tank guided missile attack wounded three Israelis, including a civilian who was seriously hurt and a member of a northern border community’s local security team who was moderately injured, the military and a hospital said Sunday.
Following the targeting of Kfar Yuval, the civilian, a man in his 40s, was brought to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa by helicopter, after initially being taken to Ziv Medical Center in Safed.
Ziv Medical Center said the security team member and a third person injured in the attack were in good to moderate condition and were being treated at the hospital. (Read more)

1. GOP senators look to tie crackdown on noncitizen voting to must-pass spending bill - Fox
Several Republican lawmakers have called on their colleagues to support attaching a bill that would safeguard elections and require proof of citizenship to vote on an upcoming stopgap spending measure due at the end of next month.
Prominent conservative Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Mike Lee, R-Utah, posted on X this week pushing for the bill, which would require proof of citizenship before registering to vote in federal elections, to be tethered to a spending bill extension to avoid a government shutdown at the end of the fiscal year.
"There isn’t a good argument against attaching the SAVE Act to the September spending bill," Lee said in one of several posts promoting the idea.
Other Republican senators, including Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., and Rick Scott, R-Fla., also shared their support for the legislation, known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, in posts on X. However, they didn't go as far as calling for the bill to be taken up as part of a continuing resolution to extend the current spending bill.
"Texas just announced that it has removed 6,500+ non-citizens from its voter rolls, almost 2,000 of which illegally voted in past elections. We cannot ignore this threat to our democratic process. It’s time to pass my SAVE Act & stop illegal voting," Scott said.

2. DOJ Watchdog Finds ‘Significant Issues’ With FBI’s Response To Suspected Child Abuse Cases – Daily Caller
The FBI did not comply with mandatory reporting requirements for some allegations of child sexual abuse, revealed a report released Thursday by the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
The investigation was an audit of the FBI’s response to allegations of hands-on sexual offenses against children and compliance with the mandatory reporting requirements, according to the report. The DOJ defines “hands-on” as an offense with “physical sexual contact.”
There were “significant issues” with how the FBI responded to the allegations of suspected child abuse, according to the report.
From October 1, 2021, to February 26, 2023, the FBI opened 3,925 cases that allegedly involved hands-on sexual abuse of a child or a similar offense.
The OIG reviewed 327 case files and flagged 42 incidents – 13% – for additional review by the FBI. In one example, the FBI failed to take “appropriate investigative action” for more than a year regarding an allegation of sexual abuse by a registered sex offender, the report found.
The agency also did not alert state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) law enforcement in the jurisdiction of the suspected child abuse, the OIG report says. The report noted the offender allegedly abused at least one other minor for about 15 months. The FBI, however, acted accordingly after the OIG made the agency aware of the incident. (Read more)

3. Kamala Harris on CNN: ‘Bidenomics’ Is ‘Good Work’- Breitbart
Vice President Kamala Harris took ownership of the policies that led to costs soaring about 20 percent across the board during CNN’s Thursday interview.
“There’s more to do. But that’s good work,” Harris said about “Bidenomics,” as CNN’s Dana Bash referenced the economic policies under the Biden-Harris administration
“You have been vice president for three and a half years. The steps that you’re talking about now, why haven’t you done them already?” Bash asked Harris.
“Well, first of all, we had to recover as an economy, and we have done that. I’m very proud of the work that we have done that has brought inflation down to less than three percent,” she said.

4. Gold Star Families Had Trouble Getting Trump Into Arlington Until House Speaker Intervened – Daily Caller
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson had to intervene to get former President Donald Trump into Arlington National Cemetery for the third anniversary of the Afghanistan withdrawal with Gold Star families, a family told the Daily Caller.
The Gold Star families, who lost their children during the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, invited Trump to Arlington National Cemetery. He laid a wreath there for the 13 servicemembers who were killed serving their country in Afghanistan. However, a Gold Star family told the Caller that Arlington National Cemetery was trying to make it difficult for the former President to appear for the ceremony to honor their children, something the families requested.
Arlington National Cemetery told Gold Star families that they could only be there for a specific time that did not work for everyone’s schedule and were also told the president could not join them at their children’s gravesites, the family told the Caller.
Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Rep. Michael McCaul explained to the Caller that he was contacted by Gold Star parents Darin Hoover and Kelly Barnett, the parents of SSGT Taylor Hoover. Hoover and Barnett told him that Arlington Cemetery was giving the Gold Star parents of the U.S. servicemembers killed at Abbey Gate a hard time about coordinating a ceremony with Trump on the anniversary of their deaths.
McCaul immediately reached out to Johnson to ask for his assistance with the matter and the Caller is told he continued to track it until it was fixed. (Read more)

We thank You that Speaker Johnson was able to fix the problem, but ask that in the future, the wishes of these families be honored.

5. Republican Lawmakers Push Defense Department To Blacklist Chinese EV Battery Company Tied To CCP- Daily Caller
Republican lawmakers are urging the Department of Defense (DOD) to bar a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturer from receiving U.S. military contracts and deter the company’s U.S. clients from using its services.
Republican Rep. John Moolenaar of Michigan and Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio sent a letter to the Pentagon Wednesday requesting EV battery-maker CATL be added to its 1260H list that identifies company’s “involved in bolstering Beijing’s military ambitions” and prohibits them from being awarded defense contracts. The lawmakers accused CATL of being controlled by China due to “subsidies, tax incentives [and] favorable procurement deals” from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and of furthering the interests of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) by supporting its battery infrastructure.
“U.S. policymakers have a duty to stand in resolute opposition to any effort by America’s adversaries that threatens our national and economic security,” Moolenaar and Rubio wrote. “By including CATL on the Section 1260H List, the DoD would not only safeguard America’s military infrastructure from exposure to the PLA, it would also send a powerful signal to U.S. companies that are currently weighing partnerships with CATL.”
Prior to the letter, the U.S. military had already taken steps to diminish ties with CATL, with the Marine Corps removing one of the company’s batteries from the energy storage system at its base Camp Lejeune in February, and the Navy vowing to only purchase American or allied-supplied batteries in April, according to Reuters and military news website Military.com. 6. Dance You Monkey’: Emails Show Biden Clean Air Official Took Commands From Chemical Lobbyist - Daily Wire
President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate Joe Goffman to lead the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation on March 8, 2022. That same day, Goffman wrote to Rich Gold, a major Democratic donor and Holland & Knight lobbyist who represents clients including the American Chemistry Council, oil and gas companies, and the timber industry, to thank him.
“It’s live,” Goffman said of the job announcement, text messages reviewed by The Daily Wire show. “Will I ever be able to thank you enough?”
“Gotta get good people in these jobs,” the lobbyist said. “And need to chat next steps.”
Goffman said he would call the lobbyist “tomorrow morning so I can give you a heads up about something.”
Messages between Goffman and Gold, obtained by the watchdog group Functional Government Initiative under the Freedom of Information Act and shared with The Daily Wire, suggest that Goffman did pay the favor back. In the ensuing months, Goffman shared intimate information about dynamics within the EPA, and in one case promised to “pull a rabbit out of the hat” for Gold. (Read more)

In this era of post-truth, people like to think they do not need to be held accountable for the choices they make. How many times have you heard someone say, “It wasn’t my fault” when they are describing something that didn’t go their way? Owning up to our choices is often hard to do, especially when we make bad choices. But we are faced with choices every day. Our choices are important. Choosing the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus is the most important choice, yet many people refuse the gift. Choosing our spouse is among the most important choices we make, but it also is very difficult considering the divorce rate. All this underscores the importance of being intentional and wise about our choices.
Deuteronomy 11:26 begins with, “See I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse—the blessing, if you listen to the laws of ADONAI your God that I am giving you today; and the curse, if you don’t listen to the laws of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way I am ordering you today and follow other gods that you have not known.” The Hebrew word for see is re’eh, and is in the singular form meaning, “you see!” However, the pronoun in “before you today,” is plural, meaning that each person is to see that the choice of blessing or curse will affect others as well as themselves. God gives each of us the opportunity to choose what path we take, and it is our own responsibility to choose life! (Deuteronomy 30:19). Read More

2. Anti-Israel, Pro-terror Protest Sets off Smoke Bombs at NYC March - Breitbart
An anti-Israel, pro-terror march in Manhattan on Labor Day brought 5,000 demonstrators into the street, chanting radical slogans, setting off smoke bombs, and overwhelming police who tried to control the illegal demonstration.

Planetary parade: See 6 planets in September sky
|

Get your telescope ready for the best arrangement of planets in 2024 as Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will be visible at the same time before sunrise.
Early risers will be treated to a celestial spectacle during the first two weeks of September as six planets will be visible at the same time although a telescope will be needed to see the entire event.
Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn will be spread across the sky from east to west about 30 minutes before sunrise, local time.
A telescope is necessary to see the planetary procession as Uranus and Neptune are too dim to see with the naked eye. Both will be close to brighter planets, making them easier to find.
Jupiter will be the key to finding Uranus as the two will be side by side high in the southern sky. Meanwhile, Neptune will appear above and to the left of Saturn and will appear blue amid a backdrop of white stars in the western sky.
Mercury, while bright enough to see without a telescope, can still be tricky to spot as it will be low in the eastern sky and could be difficult to pick out as the morning light grows brighter leading up to sunrise. Read More

Mom and Son Got Actual Help From a Pregnancy Center Instead of an Abortion

Kayla and her son Maverick are grateful to Hill Country Pregnancy Center in Boerne, Texas, for the support they received from the center, and they share their gratitude with all who would listen during Babies Go to Congress in our nation’s capital earlier this summer. Kayla recalled that day two years ago when she was referred to the pregnancy center while facing an unexpected pregnancy. “I never knew there was even a pregnancy care center in Boerne before becoming pregnant,” she said in an email exchange with Pregnancy Help News. Kayla did not have support from the baby’s father. She walked into the pregnancy center without him, and, she said, “I was greeted with welcome arms and felt very comfortable in the cozy office.” Kayla took part in the center’s “Earn While You Learn” program, racking up Baby Bucks and securing important items for the little boy growing in her womb. She earned a car seat, stroller, diapers, and clothing.
That first visit, however, meant so much to Kayla. Lulu Belz is the Development Director at Hill Country Pregnancy Center. She discussed Kayla’s first visit to the center in an email with Pregnancy Help News. “Kayla shared at our gala that when nurse Melinda prayed with her, it changed her,” Belz said. “She said she never had anyone pray for her. Our nurses pray for our clients if they allow them to,” Belz added. “It’s permission based.” As time passed, Kayla began to express a desire to grow in her Christian faith. The client advocate at the center offered her a Bible study. Kayla took part in the study and was later baptized. Belz and Executive Director Donna Klingaman were present for that special day, Belz said. Belz said Kayla was a clear candidate for the Babies for Congress opportunity. (LifeNews) Read More
