It's the fifth strongest hurricane to ever hit the American mainland, trapping people in flooded homes amid rising floodwaters.
Many survivors who refused to evacuate probably wished they had. No one knows yet how many lives Hurricane Ian has taken, but fears are mounting of a high death toll.
"While I don't have confirmed numbers, I definitely know the fatalities are in the hundreds," Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said on ABC's "Good Morning America." "There are thousands of people that are waiting to be rescued."
Sharks were seen swimming in the streets. Video showed a door in Naples blown in from the water. Large boats were pushed around like toys. Houses were seen floating away.
The storm dumped as much as a foot of rain on some cities as it barreled across the Florida Peninsula. Flash flooding is still a concern as it's expected to drop at least 30 inches of rain in some areas.
Now a tropical storm, Ian has moved into the Atlantic and is expected to make landfall again in Georgia or South Carolina, bringing heavy winds, rain, and storm surge. (CBN) Read more.

For the good of humanity, this has got to stop. The United States and Russia both keep raising the stakes, and if we keep repeating this cycle it will end with a nuclear war that could ultimately result in billions of deaths. Unfortunately, leaders on both sides do not seem interested in peace at this point. The votes that Russia just conducted in four disputed territories were inevitably going to raise tensions even higher. Of course the western powers have been greatly escalating matters themselves. Over the past couple of months, NATO has gotten far more deeply involved in the conflict in Ukraine, and now the war is starting to spread beyond Ukrainian borders.
Everyone agrees that the damage caused to the Nord Stream pipeline system was an act of sabotage. As I discussed yesterday, an explosion that registered 1.9 on the Richter scale was followed by a second explosion that registered 2.3 on the Richter scale. These explosions were absolutely huge, and that suggests that this was a military operation.
Many in the western world are blaming Russia for the sabotage, but why would they blow up pipelines that they spent so much time and energy constructing and that have enabled them to make giant mountains of money selling natural gas to Europe? The Russians have already been punishing the Europeans by restricting the flow of gas through those pipelines. There was certainly no need to blow them up. If it is ultimately proven that the Russians did this, it would be one of the stupidest geopolitical moves that I have ever seen.
Of course there is someone else that could have done it.
On Friday, September 23rd the following statement was posted on the official White House website…
"The United States will never recognize Ukrainian territory as anything other than part of Ukraine. Russia’s referenda are a sham – a false pretext to try to annex parts of Ukraine by force in flagrant violation of international law, including the United Nations Charter. We will work with our allies and partners to impose additional swift and severe economic costs on Russia. The United States stands with our partners around the world – and with every nation that respects the core tenets of the UN charter – in rejecting whatever fabricated outcomes Russia will announce. We will continue to support the Ukrainian people and provide them with security assistance to help them defend themselves as they courageously resist Russia’s invasion."
So Joe Biden promised to impose “swift and severe economic costs on Russia” on Friday, and then on Monday both Nord Stream pipelines were blown up. And by now you have probably already heard that Joe Biden threatened to attack the Nord Stream pipeline system before the war in Ukraine even started…
Pres. Biden: “If Russia invades…then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”
Reporter: “But how will you do that, exactly, since…the project is in Germany’s control?”

1. IDF approves use of armed drones to attack terrorists in Judea, Samaria - World Israel News
Israel Defense Forces units in Judea and Samaria are now permitted to use armed drones during counterterrorism raids, pending approval from IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi.
The order cam amid an uptick of violence, with several terror attacks against Israelis as well as firefight between Palestinian gunmen and IDF troops.
Four Palestinian terrorists were killed and 44 others injured in Jenin on Wednesday after firing on IDF troops targeting the home of the brother of the man who carried out a deadly attack at a café in Tel Aviv in April.
The subject of armed drones was raised again during a meeting of military brass later on Wednesday that included Kohavi, Central Command chief Maj.-Gen. Yehuda Fuchs and Judea and Samaria division commander Brig.-Gen. Avi Blot. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu vows to make renegade MK a minister after election disqualification - Times of Israel
Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu proclaimed on Thursday that renegade ex-MK Amichai Chikli would be made a minister if the Likud leader regains power — a day after the Central Elections Committee barred Chikli from running with Likud in the upcoming election.
Inviting Chikli on stage next to him at a campaign event in Ramle, Netanyahu called him a “fighter for truth and justice.”
“Amichai, those who don’t want you as an MK will get you as a minister,” the former prime minister said. (Read more)

3. Hamas funneled terrorism funds through Gazans with Israeli entry permits - Jerusalem Post
The IDF and Shin Bet thwarted a Hamas terrorism financing scheme using Gazans who were entering Israel for humanitarian reasons or with work permits and student activists at the Birzeit University in the West Bank, the IDF's Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on Thursday.
The terrorist movement used the financing scheme in order to transfer funds from the Gaza Strip to Hamas members in Turkey and to finance terrorist activities in the West Bank and Turkey.
A group of student activists at Birzeit University were arrested in the case after they were caught in possession of credit cards that were used to transfer illegal funds from the Hamas leadership in Gaza to Hamas officials in Turkey. (Read more)

4. South Korea Becomes First Asian Country to Ratify Free Trade Deal With Israel - Algemeiner
The first-ever free trade agreement (FTA) between Israel and an Asian country is set to go into effect on Dec. 1, Israel’s Economy Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The announcement comes after South Korea’s National Assembly on Tuesday ratified the FTA with Israel, marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. The trade deal is Korea’s first in the Middle East.
Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid thanked his South Korean partners for their friendship and cooperation. “This agreement will create new opportunities and help lower the cost of living in both our nations,” Lapid stated. (Read more)

5. Arab Balad party barred from running in Knesset elections - Israel National News
The Central Elections Committee voted to bar the Arab Balad party from running in the elections for the 25th Knesset in November.
Nine committee members voted to disqualify Balad, while five voted to allow the party to continue to run in the elections. Right-wing parties boycotted the vote, while the National Union party representatives voted to disqualify Balad.
The party is expected to petition the Supreme Court against its disqualification, as it holds the opinion of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara that there is no reason to disqualify the party. (Read more)

1. Germany Believes High Explosive Devices Equivalent To "500 Kilograms Of TNT" Used To Destroy Nord Stream – ZeroHedge
German newspaper Der Spiegel reported that German security officials believe "highly effective explosive devices" were used to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea.
According to SPIEGEL information, it was calculated that explosive devices with an effect comparable to that of 500 kilograms of TNT must have been used to destroy the tubes. The seismic signals registered by various measuring stations were also included in the estimate.
The previously unknown estimates support the assumption that only a state actor can be behind the action. So far, the federal government has held back with speculation about the background to the interruption of the pipelines.
There is a lot of speculation that Russia is behind the action. The Russian leadership, however, described the process as international terrorism directed against Russia.
The federal government is hoping for more information from a more detailed examination of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which are interrupted to the north-east and south-east of the Baltic Sea island of Bornholm. In security circles it was said that divers or a remote-controlled robot could possibly assess the damage at the weekend.
In the best-case scenario, one could then draw initial conclusions about the type of explosion under water and the explosives used, according to security circles. However, it is difficult to predict how many traces can still be found. -- Der Spiegel

The Biden administration’s plans call for Ukraine to attack Russia with heavy weapons soon.
The gloves are off on both sides. High explosives will be deployed and high human casualties expected on both sides. Russia will respond accordingly.
It is still unclear how NATO will react, officially and unofficially. But insiders assume NATO will then enter the war. Everyone can imagine what the consequences will be for the people of Germany and Europe.
Can Germany stop this war?
Germany can stop this war by deliberately obstructing the Biden administration’s avenues for war, and re-assuming its historic role as a peace broker through negotiation and the search for a fair, balanced solution.
The Scholz government can stop playing Biden’s vassal and use its power as a sovereign state to remove the preconditions in Germany for a US war. (Read more)

3. Trump Warns: "We're At The Most Dangerous Time... Maybe Ever" – ZeroHedge
Former President Donald Trump said his biggest worry now is where geopolitical tensions over Ukraine and Taiwan may be headed, saying that he thinks “we could end up in World War III ” and that the conflict could go nuclear.
Trump, in a Sept. 27 appearance on the “Cats at Night Show,” was asked about his chief concerns and what keeps him “up at night.”
“More than anything else, I think we could end up in World War III,” the former president replied.
He said World War III could be sparked by “all of the horrible things that took place in Ukraine,” adding that it “looks like it’s going to happen in China with Taiwan … you see what’s going on over there.”
China’s communist regime recently ramped up its military threat against the self-ruled island of Taiwan, which Beijing views as its own territory to be taken by force, if necessary.
“China has acted increasingly aggressively when it comes to Taiwan,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a recent interview, according to CBS News. “That poses a threat to peace and stability in the entire region.”
In his interview, Trump commented on Putin’s remarks and the nuclear threat.
“I think we’re at the most dangerous time maybe in many, many years—maybe ever—because of the power of nuclear,” Trump said.
“For a major nation that’s equal with us on nuclear power to be throwing around the word cavalierly, like nuclear, is a very bad time. A very bad time for this country and a very bad and a very dangerous time for the world,” Trump added. (Read more)

4. Five Major Events That Have Happened Within The Last 100 Hours – The Economic Collapse Blog
If you think that nothing is happening, then you have not been paying attention. Within the past 100 hours, there has been a mysterious attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline system, two monster storms have threatened North America, NASA rammed a spacecraft into an asteroid in order to knock it off course, and our ongoing stock market crash reached a new level when the Dow Jones Industrial Average officially plunged into bear market territory on Monday. I would say that is a pretty active 100 hours, but of course this is just the beginning. #1 Damage to Nordstrom Pipelines
As I discussed in a previous article, these pipelines are very well constructed and are extremely thick. In order to damage them, very large explosions would be needed, and that is apparently exactly what happened. In fact, the explosions that damaged these pipelines were so large that they actually registered on the Richter scale. Many European officials are insisting that this could not have been an accident, and I agree with them.
But if this was not an accident, who was responsible?
#2 Fiona turned out to be a truly historic disaster for our neighbors to the north. It violently slammed into Nova Scotia on Saturday, and we are being told that it was one of the most powerful storms in the entire history of Canada…
#3 On Tuesday, Hurricane Ian strengthened into a “major Category 3 hurricane”, and forecasters are warning that it could actually turn into a Category 4 storm before it finally collides with the west coast of Florida on Wednesday

5. Biden Declares Major Disaster for Florida After Hurricane Ian Hits – The Epoch Times
President Joe Biden on Sept. 29 approved a major disaster declaration for Florida due to damage from Hurricane Ian.
The declaration allows the U.S. government to utilize federal funding for aid to Hillsborough County, which includes Tampa and nearby counties that were affected by the storm.
Hurricane Ian made landfall on Wednesday.
Nine counties in total are covered by the declaration.
Biden planned to visit the headquarters of the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Washington later Thursday. Biden spoke with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday morning. (Read more)

Florida Sheriff Believes "Fatalities In The Hundreds" As Hurricane Ian Wreaks Havoc
Hurricane Ian was downgraded to a tropical storm early Thursday morning as it traversed northeastward across central Florida, dumping torrential rain while still packing strong winds across a large swath of the state.
The former Category 4 hurricane made landfall Wednesday afternoon west of Fort Myers near Cayo Costa. Ian unleashed widespread life-threatening storm surge flooding across the region.
About 2.6 million homes and businesses are without power, according to PowerOutage.us. The most significant number of outages are based in the southwest Florida region, where the hurricane made landfall.
Shocking footage yesterday revealed the surge sent a wall of water roaring inland that was as high as some homes. Streets were instantly transformed into rivers. We pointed out last night that total storm damage could be upwards of $70 billion. (Read more)

7. FBI Whistleblower Comes Forward, Says Bureau Violating Policies in Jan. 6 Investigation – The Epoch Times
An FBI whistleblower has come forward to say the bureau is violating policies in its investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach. The whistleblower raising concerns about how the bureau is handling the Jan. 6 investigation has identified himself as special agent Steve Friend.
Friend, based out of Florida since June 2021, said in a declaration made public on Sept. 26 that he was told that child sexual abuse material investigations were “no longer an FBI priority” and should be referred to local officials. He says he was also told that he would be focusing on domestic terrorism investigations.
Friend says he observed that FBI policies on case assignments were being violated because the Washington Field Office was enabling field offices around the country to lead investigations on crimes that allegedly took place in Washington on or around Jan. 6, but officials in Washington are actually directing the probes.
The situation resulted in active criminal investigations in which Friend is listed as the case agent, but has done no investigative work, according to the declaration. (Read more)

8. EXCLUSIVE: FDA Withholding Autopsy Results on People Who Died After Getting COVID-19 Vaccines – The Epoch Times
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is refusing to release the results of autopsies conducted on people who died after getting COVID-19 vaccines. The FDA says it is barred from releasing medical files, but a drug safety advocate says that it could release the autopsies with personal information redacted.
The refusal was issued to The Epoch Times, which submitted a Freedom of Information Act for all autopsy reported obtained by the FDA concerning any deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System following COVID-19 vaccination.
Reports are lodged with the system when a person experiences an adverse event, or a health issue, after receiving a vaccine. The FDA and other agencies are tasked with investigating the reports. Authorities request and review medical records to vet the reports, including autopsies.
The FDA declined to release any reports, even redacted copies. (Read more)

9. VAERS data suggests COVID-19 vaccines may have caused over 1.2 million deaths in the US – Pandemic News
Ben Armstrong did not mince words in the September 23 episode of “The Ben Armstrong Show,” as he spilled the shocking adverse effects numbers associated with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.
Armstrong said right off the bat that he was given the actual Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) data – which the conservative media, for some reason does not report accurately.
“I’m giving you the calculated VAERS data. And this is not a scam,” Armstrong told his viewers. “This is not scaremongering. But if you’re skeptical and thinking, oh my gosh, this is over the top. In fact, I’m underselling it. I am giving you what I think is the best-case scenario.”
According to Armstrong, the government and mainstream media are making people think that the numbers are extremely low.
Getting to the point, he revealed the most likely extent of COVID-19 vaccine damage in the U.S. alone: 7.2 million hospitalizations, 1.2 million deaths, 2.3 million permanently disability and 2.1 million cases of myocarditis. (Read more)

10. Excess deaths among children in Europe soar following vaccine rollout for younger age groups – Pandemic News
Europe has experienced a significant increase in excess deaths among children ever since the European Medicines Agency (EMA) granted Pfizer’s Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine an emergency use authorization for use in younger age groups.
According to an investigation conducted by the Expose, between week 22 of 2017 and week 37 of 2021, the average number of excess deaths among children aged 0 to 14 was 169.65. From week 22 of 2021 to week 37 of 2022, the number of excess deaths among children of the same age soared to 1,224. (Related: COVID-19 vaccines are killing shocking numbers of doctors in Canada).
What this means is that there has been a 630 percent increase in excess deaths among children aged zero to 14 across Europe since the EMA authorized the use of COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 12 to 15 in May 2021. (Read more)

An I&I/TIPP Poll, conducted from August 2-4 among 1,335 adults nationwide, shows that 59% are “very concerned” or “somewhat concerned” about Joe Biden’s mental health. Just 39% said they are “not very concerned” or “not at all concerned”. Only 2% said they were “not sure.” The poll has a margin of error of +/-2.8 percentage points. These concerns are further underscored by Biden’s total lapse of mental faculty at a Wednesday event in Washington where he was asking for a dead member of Congress to thank for her support in addressing hunger issues. Biden said “Jackie here? Where’s Jackie? I think she wasn’t going to be here.” Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) died in a car accident in August.
The exchange between a White House correspondent and Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was chilling: “Q. What happened in the hunger event today? The President appeared to look around the room for an audience member, a member of Congress who passed away last month. He seemed to indicate she might be in the room. What happened there? MS. JEAN-PIERRE: The President was naming the congressional champions on this issue and was acknowledging her incredible work. He had already planned to welcome the congresswoman’s family to the White House on Friday. There will be a bill signing in her honor this coming Friday. So, of course, she was on his mind. President Joe Biden is preparing to sign an executive order protecting 600,000 illegal immigrants from deportation, NBC News reported Thursday, citing “people close to the White House.” The move is being made in advance of a decision from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the future of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
DACA protects illegal immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children — so-called Dreamers — from deportation and allows them access to work permits. As of December 2021, 611,470 migrants were protected under the program, according to the Migration Policy Insitute.
The Fifth Circuit is expected to end the program, and the Supreme Court has indicated it would affirm such a ruling, according to NBC News.
Sources close to the White House told the outlet that the administration’s plan would temporarily shield migrants protected under DACA. Under the order, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials would be directed to “deprioritize deporting DACA recipients and refrain from deporting them if they aren’t deemed threats to public safety or national security,” NBC News reported. The third front

The full extent of the damage caused thus far by Hurricane Ian, let alone its longer-term repercussions for Florida and the eastern seaboard as the storm progresses further north are unknown. What is already clear, however, is that Ian will necessarily require national attention and resources on the home front at a problematic moment.
The nearly simultaneous closure through apparent sabotage of Russian natural gas pipelines to Europe is further roiling the front created by Vladimir Putin’s ongoing invasion and, now, annexation of parts of Ukraine. The effect, and presumably the intent, is to intensify pressure on Ukraine’s European supporters to demand Kiev’s capitulation to Kremlin demands.
Unfortunately, these developments constitute distractions from the third front: the prospect that after next month’s Communist Party Congress, dictator Xi Jinping will be emboldened to engage in aggression towards Taiwan, and perhaps us.

Hurricanes in 100 years could be far more devastating,
study finds

In what might be the ultimate long-range weather forecast, researchers used computer models to predict the tracks of future hurricanes -- and one scenario is alarming for a rarely hit part of the U.S.
Our understanding of hurricane formations and tracks has changed dramatically in the past century, but what do we know about the next century of storms?
A team of climate scientists from Rowan University in New Jersey set out to answer that question, using more than 35,000 computer simulations to study the evolution of storm tracks and better understand storm behaviors in the future. The scientists' findings were particularly concerning for one specific region of the United States.
Dr. Andra Garner, the study's lead researcher, told AccuWeather the climate models she used to analyze storm behavior evolution show that storm systems will only become more unforgiving in the decades to come.
"A couple of key things we found were that, over time, hurricanes seem like they’re forming closer to the U.S. southeast coast, which means less time for those northeast cities to prepare for those storms to arrive," she told AccuWeather. "The other thing that happens is that over time, we see hurricanes moving their slowest when they’re along the U.S. East Coast, which means that those communities being impacted by them see a longer duration of the storm impacts." We are heading into a year that is so, so important for us to understand. I remember when we used to only pray. Now we also decree and declare, and when we decree a thing, we see it begin to happen. I believe our authority is increasing. It is a picture of this whole historical era we are in right now. We shifted in September 2019, at Rosh Hashanah. Of course, all of you remember March 2020, when God pulled us all aside and said, "I need a divine pause to get My people moving in a new way." And I believe we are now moving into this—in this new way. I thank God for ministries such as yours that keep us doing just that.
But I believe this year ahead is going to be our supernatural year. When I look at Scripture regarding the year ahead, we all need to know that we are coming into a supernatural confrontation. We don't need to think humanistically, and humanistic religion can wear you down. We need to know that we are coming into a time when it is not just about Right versus Left, male versus female, culture versus race, but Kingdom versus kingdom. We are moving into a supernatural dimension. We have to ask Holy Spirit for a new level of the baptism of His Spirit, so we can see beyond and maneuver with His angelic help as we go into this spiritual war ahead. This whole era of ten years is about war, and you'll remember I've written several books regarding what God showed me in 1986 of where we would be in 2026.
I consider this year a key transitional year for us in the spirit realm, and that is very important. With that, I see that when it comes to Kingdom versus kingdom, it also becomes Government versus government. We will see the ruling demons behind those governments, or the ruling force of the Spirit of God behind government. That summarizes what we're talking about. The Government of God has matured (the Ekklesia), and I believe we now have the backing of angelic hosts. (Charisma News)
