Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee (FADC) Sunday that he is seriously considering a proposal to take over all of northern Gaza to pressure Hamas to restart negotiations for a hostages-for-ceasefire deal.
The “Generals’ Plan” was presented to the government by the Commanders and Reserve Soldiers Forum early this month as a way to defeat Hamas altogether.
Besides turning the stretch from Gaza City north into a closed military zone after allowing all residents to leave via secured humanitarian corridors, it also envisions the IDF taking charge of all humanitarian aid deliveries.
No aid would be allowed into the besieged zone, forcing any Hamas forces left there after the evacuation of civilians to either surrender, starve or come out to fight the overwhelming IDF force that would greet them.
Israeli control over the aid would take away a huge source of revenue for Hamas, which has reportedly made hundreds of millions of dollars by stealing and selling the internationally-donated supplies. (World Israel News) Read more.

The top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee is pushing back against the Supreme Court’s recent presidential immunity ruling, suggesting Democrats are eyeing ways to limit former President Trump’s abilities that were expanded by the high court’s decision.
"It is up to Congress, the representative branch of the people, to defend the constitutional order against presidents who would trample the freedoms of the people," Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., said at a press conference alongside former GOP Rep. Joe Walsh.
"This declaration is about protecting the freedoms of the people by closing statutory loopholes that could allow a president to exploit the executive power to trample constitutional freedom and liberty."

The United States is sending more troops to the Middle East, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to the Lebanese people regarding the heightening conflict with Hezbollah.
"In light of increased tension in the Middle East and out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional U.S. military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region. But for operational security reasons, I’m not going to comment on or provide specifics," Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters during an off-camera gaggle Monday.
The U.S. already has 40,000 troops in the region. The new deployments come after significant strikes by Israeli forces against targets inside Lebanon that have killed hundreds and as Israel is preparing to conduct further operations. Netanyahu released a video statement Monday addressed to "the people of Lebanon."
"Israel's war is not with you. It's with Hezbollah. For too long, Hezbollah has been using you as human shields. It placed rockets in your living rooms and missiles in your garages," Netanyahu said. "Those rockets and missiles are aimed directly at our cities, directly at our citizens. To defend our people against Hezbollah strikes, we must take out those weapons." (Fox News) Read more

President Biden delivered remarks at the United Nation’s General Assembly on Tuesday morning as leaders and representatives from 134 countries pour into New York City for the convention. Though notably, the heads of some top authoritarian nations embroiled in international conflicts across the globe will not be in attendance.
While Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un will not be in attendance, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is set to give a speech Tuesday despite international pushback amid Tehran's support for terrorism, interference in November's U.S. election and assassination threats against American politicians, including former President Trump.
According to reports on Monday, Pezeshkian told reporters from New York, "We don’t want war … we want to live in peace."
But his comments are not expected to be taken at face value, and Biden, who spoke ahead of the Iranian president, will "rally global action to tackle the world's most pressing challenges," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday. (Fox News)

1. Live updates: Over 270 rockets fired at northern Israel so far today - Israel National News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, September 13th, ordered that the safe return of northern Israel's residents to their homes be added to the war's objectives. During the next week, dozens of Hezbollah operatives were killed and thousands were maimed when their communication devices exploded. Israel did not claim responsibility for the explosions, but foreign media reported that the Mossad was behind them.
The following Friday, IAF jets guided by the Intelligence Directorate, targeted and eliminated Ibrahim Aqil, head of operations and commander of the Radwan Force of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, during a meeting with Radwan Force commanders in the Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut. In addition to Aqil, 15 other Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated in the strike, including senior commanders in the Radwan Force chain of command.
Hezbollah responded on Saturday night by expanding their range of fire and increasing rocket and UAV launches, targeting the lower Galilee, Haifa Bay, and Jezreel Valley areas. At the same time, the IDF increased its strikes on Hezbollah targets, striking buildings used to store long-range missiles. On Monday, IDF Chief of Staff Major General Herzi Halevi announced that the name of the operation in the northern arena is "Northern Arrows." Officials in Lebanon said 492 people were killed in IDF strikes throughout the country on Monday and that 1,645 were injured. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu huddles with security chiefs after vowing to ‘continue to hit Hezbollah’ - Times of Israel
As Israel carried out major waves of airstrikes against Hezbollah targets across Lebanon and rocket fire targeted communities deep in northern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu huddled with security chiefs Tuesday evening to discuss the next stages of fighting.
Netanyahu met with IDF chief Herzi Halevi as well as his military secretary, Roman Goffman, and his chief of staff, Tzachi Braverman, according to his office. He was reportedly slated to meet later in the night with a number of senior ministers and other security officials, including Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Foreign Minister Israel Katz and Shas chief Aryeh Deri.
The prime minister earlier in the day publicly urged the Lebanese people to reject Hezbollah, while Gallant warned that the terror group had yet to see the IDF’s full capabilities. (Read more)

“The IDF is currently striking terror targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon,” Israel’s military said in a brief statement Tuesday afternoon, Day 2 of Operation Northern Arrows.
Israeli warplanes completed a third wave of attacks “under the direction of military intelligence and the Northern Command,” in the early afternoon hours, and launched a fourth wave of “extensive strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon,” Israel’s military announced shortly after 6 pm.
Private homes and other weapon storage sites were targeted in southern and eastern Lebanon, including the Beka’a Valley, for a second day, with the addition of strikes carried out around Sidon, along Lebanon’s southern Mediterranean coast, as well. (Read more)

4. IDF kills Hezbollah rocket chief Ibrahim Muhammad Kabisi in Beirut - Jerusalem Post
The IDF eliminated Hezbollah's rocket chief, Ibrahim Muhammad Kabisi, in Beirut on Tuesday afternoon. Additional Hezbollah commanders from the rocket unit were with Kabisi at the time of the strike.
Kabisi planned the kidnap terror attack in Mount Dov in the year 2000 in which Hezbollah terrorists kidnapped and killed St.-Sgt. Benyamin (Benny) Avraham, St.-Sgt. Adi Avitan and St.-Sgt. Omar Sawaid, whose bodies were returned to Israel for burial in 2004.
Kabisi was the chief of the terror group's various missile units, including precise missiles, the IDF said, adding that over the years and during the recent war, he had been responsible for the projectiles fired on the Israeli home front. (Read more)

5. Police break up Hamas money-laundering ring in Jerusalem - World Israel News
Israeli authorities arrested five suspected Hamas operatives on the outskirts of Jerusalem in an operation targeting individuals involved in financing and laundering funds for the terror group, the Israeli Police said on Tuesday.
The primary suspect, believed to be a key figure in Hamas, was arrested in the Shuafat refugee camp in eastern Jerusalem.
Authorities allege that the suspect and others have been using a chain of supermarkets in the Shuafat and Anata refugee camps to funnel money into Hamas’s activities.
During the raid, law enforcement confiscated over 200,000 shekels ($53,000) in cash, checks worth one million shekels ($265,000), numerous cell phones, documents, DVRs, construction plans, tablets, and computer drives, along with several bags of business receipts linked to the laundering of terrorist funds. A member of Venezuela's Tren de Aragua gang was arrested in a tiny Wisconsin community for allegedly sexually assaulting a mother and abusing her daughter after he had been arrested and released earlier this year in Minneapolis.
Republican Rep. Derrick Van Orden, whose grandchildren live less than a mile away from the Prairie du Chien home where the mother and daughter were held against their will and repeatedly victimized, told Fox News Digital that it was only a matter of time before tragedy would strike the community amid the White House's open-border policies and sanctuary city initiatives.
Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate, 26, assaulted the woman and child "under particularly brutal circumstances," and attacked his victims "over the course of a period of time," Prairie du Chien Police Chief Kyle Teynor said at a September 9 press conference following Coronel Zarate's arrest. (Read more)

2. Young children drugged and trafficked into the US by smugglers posing as their parents - DML News
Border Patrol agents are warning that kids as young as 8 are being drugged and smuggled into the US by traffickers posing as their parents or family members — and nobody knows how common the horrifying practice is.
Authorities have rescued children caught up in two different instances of such smuggling in recent weeks — including one instance in which the alleged traffickers had birth certificates for multiple kids to whom they weren’t related, according to the Border Patrol. Border Patrol sources have told The Post they’ve observed increasing numbers of smugglers posing as family units in order to “recycle” children.
“A few years ago when they were coming in en masse, we had to let family units in. People kept coming in and after a while we noticed the kids were the same, but the parents were different. They were recycling the kids,” one Border Patrol source told The Post. “I hate thinking about it because there were thousands of kids and who knows where they all ended up,” the source explained. Former President Donald Trump visited a grocery store in Pennsylvania on Monday where he gave $100 to a struggling mother of three. The former president was visiting the Sprankles grocery store in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, when he turned to a mother at the checkout stand to give her a little gift.

4. Gov. Ron DeSantis Declares State of Emergency for Majority of Florida Counties in Prep for Incoming Storm - Breitbart
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis this week declared a state of emergency for 41 of Florida’s 67 counties ahead of what is expected to be a major hurricane — Category 3 or higher — making landfall somewhere in the state’s panhandle by the end of the week.
DeSantis signed Executive Order (EO) 24-208, Emergency Management (Emergency Management – Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine) on Monday. As well as urging Floridians to make an emergency plan and stay up to date, the governor wrote:
“We are tracking Potential Tropical Cyclone #9, which is likely to strengthen this week as the system enters the Gulf of Mexico. 5. Nebraska GOP senator opposes Electoral College change that may have helped Trump win re-election - DML News
The Republican Party’s efforts to lock down all ofNebraska’s electoral votes for former President Trump could be jeopardized after a state lawmaker refused to throw his support behind an initiative to change how the state allocates its electoral votes.
Nebraska state Sen. Mike McDonnell, a former Democrat from Omaha who switched his party to Republican this year, issued a statement Monday about his opposition to awarding that state’s five electoral votes as a winner-take-all, like 48 other states currently do. Maine and Nebraska are the only two states that give two electoral votes to the candidate who wins statewide and one to the winner in each congressional district.
"Elections should be an opportunity for all voters to be heard, no matter who they are, where they live, or what party they support," McDonnell’s statement read. "For decades, Nebraska has tried to live up to that ideal by allocating our electoral college votes in a way that gives all Nebraskans an equal voice in choosing our President. For Omaha, the city I love and have called home for 58 years, it brings tremendous national attention, is impactful on our local economy and forces Presidential candidates to make their case to all Nebraskans, instead of just flying over and disregarding us." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is bashing former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), attacking them in American media outlets and touring an ammunition factory in Pennsylvania Sunday — reportedly arriving there at the taxpayers’ expense on an Air Force jet.
The New Yorker has an exhaustive piece on Zelensky penned by Joshua Yaffa, stating that the Ukrainian leader “speaks with the urgency of a leader who knows that he may be facing his last best chance for substantial foreign assistance” as President Biden’s presidential term is coming to an end. The Q&A in the piece is revealing, as Zelensky openly attacks Trump, asserting that he “doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how.” (Read more)

The Real Threat

Former President Donald Trump has survived two assassination attempts. Each time opponents have condemned the acts and said that the political temperature must be dialed down. Yet, they heat it up with the same divisive rhetoric. Joe Biden told the nation after the first attempt, “Our politics must never be a literal battlefield, and God forbid, a killing field…We stand for an America not of extremism and fury, but of decency and grace.” Kamala Harris said after the second attempt, “As we gather the facts, I will be clear: I condemn political violence. We all must do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence. I am thankful that former President Trump is safe.” But who is dog whistling more violence?
On many occasions since Biden and Harris took office, they have used political rhetoric that encourages the type of third world violence we have witnessed against Trump. A main Democratic Party campaign theme has been that Trump is a threat to Democracy, wants to be a dictator, compares with Hitler, and that he and his supporters are extremists. Just days before the first assassination attempt on Trump, Biden said it was time to put Trump in a bullseye. In fact, Democratic Party campaign tweets said “Trump Parrots Hitler” and used Trump’s and Hitler’s faces juxtaposed with quotes from each. Never mind that Trump’s quotes were taken out of context. PERKINS: The Warning Lights Are On

What do you do when one of the warning indicators lights up on your dashboard or your car’s computer screen? Ignoring it can be costly. In fact, I saw a survey that revealed 30% of people either overlooked or ignored the indicator altogether. Only about 50% of drivers acknowledged the warning and knew what it meant. Just like failing to heed those signs can lead to a breakdown, we, as a country, are facing cultural warning indicators that we can’t afford to ignore.
In just the past two months, there were two assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump. That alone is alarming, but even more disturbing is a recent poll conducted by Scott Rasmussen for Napolitan News. This survey of 1,000 registered voters should drive us to our knees in prayer.
Here’s what they asked: “While it is always difficult to wish ill of another human being, would America be better off if Donald Trump had been killed last weekend?” Shockingly, the results showed that only 47% of Democrats said “no,” while 28% said America would be better off, and 25% were unsure. In other words, 53% of Democrats were either comfortable with Trump being murdered or unsure how to respond to such a serious question. (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

New Details Emerge on Suspect in 2nd Trump Assassination Attempt: What We Know

The suspect accused of hiding out with a gun near former President Donald Trump’s Florida golf course in an attempt to assassinate the former president appeared in a federal court on Sept. 23 as prosecutors released a box of his belongings that included a note he wrote apparently confirming that he sought to carry out the assassination.
Prosecutors charged Ryan Routh, 58, with two gun crimes after he allegedly pointed a rifle through a fence while Trump was playing golf at his West Palm Beach course on Sept. 15. Routh hasn’t entered a plea.
A federal judge denied bond during a Sept. 23 court hearing, agreeing with prosecutors’ arguments that Routh is a flight risk and a risk to the community and should be held before his trial. (Epoch Times) Read more

2. Poll: Virtual Tie in Key Swing State of Michigan - Breitbart
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are virtually tied in the key swing state of Michigan, a Suffolk/USA Today survey reveals.
The Michigan poll, taken September 16-19, 2024, among 500 likely voters, asked respondents who they would choose in a matchup between Trump and Harris.
Forty-eight percent said they would support Harris, while 45 percent said they would support Trump — a three-point gap. However, that gap is well within the overall survey’s ± 4.4 percent margin of error, making it a virtual tie.

Hezbollah has transformed large parts of Lebanon into a “military terrorist base,” according to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who demanded the Biden-Harris administration “reverse its policy” of “equivocating” its stance on Israel and Hezbollah while calling for the United States to “unequivocally stand with our Israeli allies” as they respond to Iranian proxy attacks.
In a statement released Monday, Cruz, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, condemned Hezbollah’s presence and terrorist activity in Lebanon.

4. Report: Oregon Scrubs 1,200+ from Voter Rolls for Failing to Show Proof of U.S. Citizenship - Breitbart
A multitude of people have reportedly been scrubbed from Oregon’s voter rolls because they did not provide proof of U.S. citizenship when they registered to vote.
On Monday, the state’s elections officials said they erased more than 1,200 people from the rolls due to the issue, the Associated Press (AP) reported on Tuesday.

Of those found to be possibly ineligible, only nine people voted in elections since 2021, the Oregon secretary of state’s office said. County clerks are working to confirm whether those people were indeed ineligible when they cast their ballots, or just hadn’t provided the required documentation when they were registered to vote, said Molly Woon, the office’s elections director.

Is Earth about to get a new moon?
Yes, but not for long

Asteroid 2024 PT5 will become a temporary moon later this year as the Earth's gravity briefly keeps it in our celestial neighborhood.
Earth will soon have a second moon, but it will be nothing like the one we're accustomed to seeing in the night sky.
The new "mini-moon" will be asteroid 2024 PT5, a space rock discovered earlier this year. It will be temporarily captured by Earth's gravity before continuing its journey through the solar system.
Measuring just 33 feet across, the asteroid will follow a horseshoe-like path around the Earth and will be a mini-moon from Sept. 29 until Nov. 25, according to a study published by the American Astronomical Society.
After its brief gravitational dance with the planet, it will not return to Earth's neighborhood until 2055.
Will you be able to see the Earth's temporary 2nd moon?
Most people will not be able to see the temporary moon due to its small size. To catch a glimpse of the asteroid, stargazers will need a telescope much larger than the typical backyard variety. Even still, it will be difficult to detect during its brief encounter with the Earth. Read More

Training media savvy gospel workers as Iranians search for truth

Iran (MNN) — Imagine you lived in a place where you couldn’t talk about your faith or the Bible in public. Wearing Christian apparel is forbidden, and you can’t invite people to church. How would you tell people about Jesus and how He saved your life? Lana Silk says Transform Iran is helping believers answer questions like these using media. “In the West, we’re spoiled for access to people and methods of communication. In a persecuted environment, we must be smart to use digital tools that God has provided to effectively communicate the Gospel where we can’t do that in person,” she says.
This fall, Transform Iran is holding workshops to teach believers about television ministry. Specifically, Gospel workers will learn how to create, produce, and edit TV programs. Silk says attendees will include pastors, evangelists, children’s workers, and others who are active in ministry to Iran but need more tools for effective media ministry. These believers may have successful programs underway in person, but transferring that content to a platform like TV requires a different strategy. “It’s about equipping people in how to use media effectively. You can’t just do what you would have done anyway, but do it to a camera,” Silk says. “So we’ll share some really practical things. Know where to look, how to use your hands, posture; how to create bite-sized content so we can repurpose it for different uses; how to consider an audio-only audience.”
