Radios Too? Second Wave of Mysterious Explosions Rocks Lebanon as Communication Devices Blow Up Across Country

Reports come after exploding pagers wounded almost 3,000 just 24 hours earlier
|
|
|
A second wave of mysterious explosions occurred across the country of Lebanon, and especially in its capital Beirut, according to Lebanese reports on Wednesday evening.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported at least 14 killed and around 450 people wounded in a wave of explosions of communication devices, mainly handheld radios.
Reports came in from Beirut’s Dahiyeh district, the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon, all areas known for having a significant Hezbollah presence.
Most reports stated that the explosions targeted devices in the possession of Hezbollah operatives, with similar incidents reportedly taking place in Syria and Iraq.
Ehud Yaari, Channel 12's News Arabic Affairs Analyst, said: "The number of dead in Hezbollah's ranks is much higher than what was published, a large part of Hezbollah's commanders were disabled even if they were only wounded."
Senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safi al-Din said in a first response: “We are facing a ‘new stage’ and the punishment will inevitably come.” (AllIsrael.com) Read more here.

While we grieve the fact that this is necessary, we also give You praise that the likelihood of another type of October 7th event has been dramatically reduced, if not eliminated. We pray for a speedy conclusion to the conflict with Hezbollah and pray Lord that the weapons supplies are so crippled that the adversary cannot push forward with his wicked plans against Israel, in Jesus' Holy name. Israel Proposes Safe Passage Deal to End War in Gaza
|
|
The single-stage deal presented to the United States would free all of the hostages held by
Hamas and allow the terror group's leadership to exit the Strip.
Israel has submitted a new proposal to the United States to end the war in Gaza by freeing
all of the remaining hostages held by Hamas and allowing the terror group’s leader Yahya
Sinwar to exit the enclave, Kan News reported on Thursday.
The framework for the deal, which would be achieved all in one phase, also includes safe
passage out of Gaza for other senior Hamas terrorists, the release of Palestinian security
prisoners, demilitarization of the Strip and a new system of governance in Gaza.
Israel’s Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons, Gal Hirsch, met with families of the
hostages and updated them on the proposal, according to the report. Some of the relatives
told Kan that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should present the proposal to the
United Nations.
Netanyahu is scheduled to deliver a speech to the U.N. General Assembly in New York on

Israel Must Free Itself From Dependence on Washington
|

Complying with U.S. interests often impacts Israel’s deterrence.
|
|
The Israel Defense Forces have been in an intense state of alert in recent weeks. Israel is
anticipating a retaliatory attack from Iran, and/or its proxy, Hezbollah in Lebanon, allegedly
in response to last month’s elimination of Hamas senior leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and
Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut. For Israel and Israelis, this is an unacceptable
situation. The 24/7 alert has taken a particular toll on the Air Force reservist pilots and
ground crews, who must be away from their families and jobs. The overall Israeli economy,
including the agricultural sector, has also suffered enormously. And, most critically, the war
and the anxiety over the hostages continue to seriously impact the national morale and the
psychological well-being of many in Israel.
As exhibited in previous situations, Israel would have launched a preventive strike against
Iran and Hezbollah; however, in consideration of the Biden administration’s demand that it
avoid doing so for fear that an Israeli strike might trigger a wider regional war, the Jewish
state has refrained. The primary reason for Washington’s efforts to restrain Israel from
acting is, first and foremost, the upcoming U.S. elections. The administration doesn’t want
American personnel in the Middle East coming back in body bags.
Secondarily, America has been constraining Israel from a preventive strike against Iran for
purely political purposes. Vide President Kamala Harris, as she assesses her run for the U.S.
presidency, understands that she must appease the pro-Hamas “progressive” wing of the
Democrat Party, especially in Michigan, where the significant Arab-American community
might abstain from giving the Democrat Party their support and vote. That position also
holds true in other swing states, such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. (israel365news)

1. Israel thwarts Iranian plot to assassinate Benjamin Netanyahu, Yoav Gallant, - Jerusalem Post
Iran plotted to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar, the Shin Bet, in cooperation with the police, announced on Thursday.
Its efforts were particularly intense following the assassination of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31, which most of the world has attributed to Mossad. However, Israel has been careful not to take any credit for it.
In addition, the Islamic Republic, at a somewhat more vague level, explored assassinating former prime minister Naftali Bennett and other top Israeli defense officials. (Read more)

2. 'Israel will receive crushing response from axis of resistance' for pager attack - Israel National News
Iranian Revolutionary Guards Commander Hossein Salami promised Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah that the "axis of resistance" would have a "crushing response" to the explosion of thousands of Hezbollah communication devices this week.
“Such terrorist acts are undoubtedly the result of the Zionist regime’s despair and successive failures. This will soon be met with a crushing response from the axis of resistance and we will witness the destruction of this bloodthirsty and criminal regime," Salami said, according to Lebanese media.
Nasrallah spoke out for the first time Thursday evening on the blows Hezbollah suffered with the explosions of its communication devices on Tuesday and Wednesday.

3. IDF says warplanes hit more than 100 loaded Hezbollah rocket launchers - Times of Israel
Israeli fighter jets in the last several hours struck over 100 Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon that were primed for immediate attacks on Israel, the military says.
The IDF says that in total, the launchers included around 1,000 launch barrels.
The strikes began this afternoon and were carried out in several waves.
“The IDF continues to damage and degrade the terror capabilities and military infrastructure of the Hezbollah terror organization,” the military adds. (Read more)

5. Ben Gvir boycotts meeting on Arab crime with Netanyahu amid new spat - Times of Israel
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Thursday boycotted a meeting called by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss tackling burgeoning crime in Arab Israeli society, and instructed top police brass to do the same, highlighting the ongoing rifts between the prime minister and the far-right politician.
According to multiple Hebrew media outlets, including Channel 12, Ynet and others, officials in Ben Gvir’s ministry explained that they had declined to attend the meeting after the Israel Police’s Commander Yoram Sofer was uninvited. Sofer has been overseeing the fight against violent Arab crime, which has led to 173 murders within the community since the start of this year alone.
“The Prime Minister’s Office refused to authorize the participation of the person in charge of the fight against [Arab] crime to participate in the discussion. The reason is unclear,” the officials were quoted as saying. (Read more)

1. Revealed: How Explosives Were Planted in Hezbollah Beepers Months Ago - United with Israel
An Israeli cyber and national security expert has claimed that the exploding pagers carried
by Hezbollah members in Lebanon, which left thousands wounded and killed at least nine
people on Tuesday, were part of a sophisticated attack that was planned at least half a year before the war in Gaza erupted.
Dr. Eyal Pinko, a former navy commander and senior research fellow at the Begin-Sadat
Center for Strategic Studies, dismissed theories that the blasts were caused by lithium
batteries that were hacked to become overheated, and said that the nature of the wounds
seen in footage emerging from Lebanon was consistent with those caused by explosives
such as TNT and HTB.
“To get this kind of wound you need to have between one to two grams of type of
explosives, which is not a big technological issue — you just need to open the beeper,”
Pinko said during a briefing with reporters on Tuesday evening. He added that a stable
explosive that wouldn’t detonate accidentally would have been inserted into the device,
along with a small control mechanism capable of receiving remote commands via a call or

2. World Waits for Hezbollah Response to Israel’s James Bond Style Attacks – Prophecy Newswatch
The events this week in Lebanon sound like they were taken out of a James Bond movie, as sabotaged pagers used by Hezbollah exploded simultaneously across the country, killing 12 and injuring some 3,000 people, the vast majority of whom were members of the terror organization.
This was followed up with an additional attack the next day that killed 20 and injured another 450 as hand-held walkie-talkies being used as backups also exploded. These devices were part of the terror group's emergency communications systems that were supposed to be used during a conflict with the Israel Defense Forces.
Experts believe that Israeli security apparatuses were able to access Hezbollah's supply chain, plant the explosives and wait for an opportune time to detonate the devices remotely. This represents an unprecedented breach of Hezbollah's communication system and a reminder of Israel's advanced technological capabilities, which the terror group is well aware of. (Read more) |

3. Iran Hacked Trump Campaign, Turned Over Stolen Materials to Biden-Harris Campaign – Discern Report
The Islamic Republic of Iran hacked former President Donald Trump’s campaign and turned over the stolen materials to the Biden-Harris campaign, federal officials said in a statement. Federal officials from ODNI, FBI, and CISA said in a joint statement that Iranian hackers sent the stolen materials to then-Biden-Harris campaign officials in June and July. Information that the hackers sent to the then-Biden-Harris campaign “contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public material from former President Trump’s campaign as text in the emails.”
“This is further proof the Iranians are actively interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden because they know President Trump will restore his tough sanctions and stand against their reign of terror,” said Karoline Leavitt, Trump Campaign National Press Secretary. “Kamala and Biden must come clean on whether they used the hacked material given to them by the Iranians to hurt President Trump. 4. Senate Will Move Stopgap Funding Bill as Government Shutdown Looms – The Hill
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced Thursday that he will act later in the day to advance a bipartisan government funding bill after Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) failed to pass
a partisan six-month funding measure that was tied to voter registration reform.
Schumer said the Senate now may have to act first to avoid a government shutdown, even though government funding bills are supposed to originate in the House.
“Later today, I’ll file cloture on a legislative vehicle that will enable us to prevent a Trump shutdown in the event that the Speaker does not work with us in a bipartisan, bicameral manner. Both sides are going to spend the next few days trying to figure out the best path remaining for keeping the government open,” Schumer announced on the Senate floor.

In his message, Pastor Hamrick stressed that Americans need to vote for political
candidates who most closely align with biblical values in the policies they espouse and will
promote if elected to public office. Policies aligning with biblical values promote
righteousness, are good for the nation, and honor God.
Before beginning his main election message, Pastor Hamrick gave a brief history lesson
about how until relatively recently, Christians and the Christian church have been intricately
involved in the nation’s political process and governance prior to and after the
establishment of America’s constitutional republic.
There is no mention of “separation of church and state” in the US Constitution or any other
founding documents. Regarding religious liberty, the purpose of the First Amendment is to
keep the government out of the business of the church, not the church out of the business

6. Breaking: 20 Supporters Seated Behind Trump Onstage Rushed to ER
with Blurred Vision and Eye Burns After Rally in Tuscon Arizona – The Gateway Pundit
Arizona Globe journalist Christy Kelly has reported a troubling development following
former President Donald Trump’s rally in Tucson, Arizona, last Thursday.
Kelly noted that “as many as 20 people” were affected by these symptoms, all of whom
were seated on the left side of the stage.
“Many supporters seated behind Trump onstage went to the ER after the rally with “blurred
vision” and “burning” to the eyes. I spoke to several who still have not fully recovered. As
many as 20 were affected,” Kelly wrote on X.
The cause of the symptoms remains unknown, and an active investigation is underway.
Supporters from the “Latinos for Trump” group were among the most severely impacted,
including Pastor Eli Moreno and his wife, Francesca. Pastor Moreno described mild
discomfort, but his wife’s symptoms were far worse.
“Her vision blurred, her face swelled up, and we had to rush to the nearest Walgreens for
help,” Pastor Moreno told Kelly.
Mrs. Moreno’s symptoms persisted for several days, and despite treatment in the ER, she
has been referred to an ophthalmologist for further care. (Read more)

Americans have suffered through over three years of uncontrollable inflation. Housing, energy, fuel, water, and food prices have sored anywhere from 20-100 percent. It is estimated that the average household has lost 30% of its purchasing power during the Biden-Harris Administration. As Vice President Kamala Harris may not be directly responsible for this tragedy, but she is complicit and guilty of it by matter of her strong advocacy for these policies. Policies that began with Joe Biden’s first week in office when through executive order he set out to destroy America’s energy and oil industry by regulating them out of business. Climate change, administrative laws, border policy are among the contributing factors.
Marxism seeks to place government in control of the entirety of the population. In communist countries, the government controls housing, food pricing and distribution, energy consumption and even moral acts. If the government can dictate whether a citizen has a home, can eat, has appropriate heating and cooling, healthcare and citizen behavior, it is a dictatorship, the antithesis of the American ideal. In that, those who are faithful to the government are the ones who get the benefits of a government. It destroys the backbone of a free economy—the middle class. This is the circumstance that all Americans are facing today. It is highly unlikely that any true American would embrace this. Putin threatens nuclear war – Nothing to see here, move along

The United States is about to approve the use by Ukraine of long-range precision strike missiles on Russia. The Russians are threatening to retaliate by using nuclear weapons. We are dangerously close to watching the war in Ukraine spiral out of control.
No one in the Biden-Harris administration seems to care. Once upon a time, we lived in a world where the threat of Armageddon was a big deal. Not anymore. Now we step on the gas and accelerate toward the cliff.
“The key is that only NATO servicemen can enter flight assignments into these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this. And so this is not about allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It’s about deciding whether NATO countries are directly involved in the military conflict or not. If this decision is made it will mean nothing other than the direct participation of NATO countries, the United States, European countries, in the war in Ukraine. This is their direct participation and this already significantly changes the very essence and the very nature of the conflict… This would mean that NATO countries, the United States are at war with Russia.”

Sergei Markov is a senior advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In a recent interview, he noted that if NATO allowed Ukraine to target Russia with long range missiles Russia would be at war with the West and would be forced to use tactical nuclear weapons. Markov also suggested pointedly that Russia would strike the United Kingdom directly.
Only months ago Putin ordered a tactical nuclear drill near its border with Ukraine. It was the first of its kind. Russia’s conventional forces may have been degraded by the fighting in Ukraine. Its nuclear arsenal remains intact and fully operational.
It is also well known that the Russians retain very large numbers of tactical nuclear weapons and also have a very expansive doctrine regarding their use. Reports have indicated that Russia is prepared to hit a large number of targets in Western Europe in a conflict with NATO. They have also shown that Russia has considered a “demonstration strike” in a remote area in Europe to establish conclusively that it is prepared to fight a nuclear war if NATO does not back off.
Vladimir Putin is a thug. His invasion of Ukraine was unjustified. He got what he deserved. His blitzkrieg turned into trench warfare, and the Russians have lost so many tanks they have dragged 40-year-old T-62s out of mothballs and sent them to the front. Therefore, we humbly ask that Putin, Biden, and leaders of Britian and the EU would quickly come to their senses by Your strong arm, and that nuclear war would be averted for now. We remind You of the harvest, ripe for picking; may our energy and resources be used to bring millions into Your kingdom, rather than millions killed and mutilated in war. Christian Group Launches Campaign against Nationwide’s ‘Radical’ DEI Initiatives

Nationwide, a top U.S. insurance company known for its catchy jingle of being “on your side,” is causing customers to wonder exactly whose side they’re on. With vast diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) measures, the company seems to be including a very specific LGBT-centric demographic, while excluding those with Christian and conservative values in the process.
In the Center for Christian Virtue’s (CCV) “Nationwide: Not On Your Side” campaign, which launched on Tuesday, the group has highlighted a variety of the controversial policies the insurance giant has adopted in the name of DEI. For instance, the Ohio-based company supports transgender programs geared toward youth, participation in Pride marches, as well as the allowance of men in women’s private spaces through the Ohio Unfairness Act. CCV also emphasized that Nationwide “received a perfect score on the 2021 Corporate Equality Index — a survey conducted by transgender activist group the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) that scores companies based on their adherence to LGBTQ+ ideology.”
Even though “Nationwide has positioned itself as a family-friendly business to its rural and agricultural clients,” said CCV President Aaron Baer, they have also advocated “for some of the most radical legislation at the Ohio Statehouse, and financially [supported] organizations that host drag queen story hours and other absurd events that harm children.”
In response to CCV’s campaign, Family Research Council Senior Fellow Meg Kilgannon told TWS, “What I love about this is that state level groups are pushing back against powerful national lobbyists and big businesses.”
She continued, “These corporate giants can cost grassroots groups lots of time and money when they support, sometimes by Corporate Equality Index default, extreme legislation not popular with voters or their customer base.” But as Kilgannon pointed out, “The CCV campaign may be the first of many others across the country,” and she encouraged “all family policy groups to look at their most active opposition and see if some of their corporate support can be called into question or even removed.”

- Lord God Almighty, we say, ‘YES!!!’, to the Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) and its current mission to alert those who have purchased (or are about to purchase) insurance from the company known as “Nationwide”, that this entity is neither on our side, nor on the Lord’s side! May the news of Nationwide’s DEI policies and specifics be shouted from the housetops in Ohio and throughout the states where Nationwide insurance is sold. May policies be canceled left and right, and may future sales be slim. We especially ask that this be a ‘wake-up’ call to other ‘woke’ insurance companies, as well as other businesses that need to get the message that citizens are not buying from companies with woke agendas. We all know our nation is in need of consistent intercession. With our national elections coming up in November, the need is even greater. Even the nations of the earth recognize this. We need the Lord!
We are asking you to participate in the Global Day of Prayer on September 22nd. There will be an international Zoom call from 7 to 10 am (EDT). Please join in with fasting and prayer during those three hours.
Send this far and wide. Gather with your family. Maybe you can get your churches to gather together and join in as a congregation. Be ready to receive communion together.

The survey from Emerson College Polling and The Hill found Trump edging out Harris in Arizona (49 percent to 48 percent); Georgia (50 percent to 47 percent); Pennsylvania (48 percent to 47 percent); and Wisconsin (49 percent to 48 percent.) New high-risk tropical threat for US to arise in
Gulf of Mexico next week
|

The next major threat for landfall in the United States may come from a storm that forms next week in the zone from the western Caribbean to the Gulf of Mexico.
An area close to Central America, Cuba and Florida is likely to give birth to the next significant tropical threat to the southeastern United States before the end of September, AccuWeather meteorologists warn.
"The region we are closely watching is more commonly a threat to tropical development in the late spring or mid- to late autumn," AccuWeather Lead Hurricane Expert Alex DaSilva stated. "There's even evidence of the Central America gyre now, which is also more common in the spring and later in the autumn."
The gyre is a vast but weak, slow-spinning storm, and it has set up over Central America. A gyre over the warm water of the Caribbean makes it easier for clusters of showers and thunderstorms to form, which can evolve into tropical depressions and storms either on the Atlantic or Pacific sides of Central America. University of Louisville professor wins in court after getting fired for questioning gender ideology

A former professor at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, who alleges he was harassed and fired for voicing his opinions about gender dysphoria, is headed back to district court for trial after achieving victory in an appeals court last week. A three-judge panel for the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday in favor of Allan M. Josephson, who claimed he was demoted and essentially ousted by the University of Louisville in 2017 after sharing his opinions about how best to treat young people suffering from gender dysphoria during a panel at the Washington, D.C.-based conservative think tank Heritage Foundation. "The defendants argue that they are entitled to Eleventh Amendment immunity and qualified immunity. The district court disagreed, and so do we," the 6th Circuit decision written by Biden appointee Judge Andre Mathis states. Josephson, who had taught since 2003 in the psychology department at the University of Louisville, appeared with Michelle Cretella, a pediatrician with the American College of Pediatricians, and Paul Hruz, a professor of endocrinology at Washington University (Saint Louis) Medical School at the October 2017 Heritage panel.
During the panel, the three questioned the idea of gender identity and the efficacy of administering cross-sex hormones to children confused about their sex. Following the discussion, Josephson alleged he was subsequently demoted from his position at the university and told that his contract would not be renewed. His attorneys with Alliance Defending Freedom argued before the court in July to allow the professor's case to proceed to trial after a federal court had earlier ruled it could, as noted in a statement from the nonprofit. "Public universities have no business punishing professors simply because they hold different views than a few colleagues or administrators," ADF Senior Counsel Travis Barham, who argued before the court, said in a statement provided to The Christian Post. "The court's decision affirms that basic truth. Dr. Josephson had a long and distinguished career at the University of Louisville, leading and rebuilding its child psychiatry program. On his own time, he spoke about treatments for children struggling with their sex, and the university punished him for expressing his opinion. That's exactly what the First Amendment prohibits, and when public universities disregard our nation's highest law, they must be held accountable," Barham continued. (Christian Post) Read More
- Father we celebrate this professor gaining VICTORY in Court and ask for his continual protection, as he is once again being challenged. Bless Dr. Josephson for speaking truth about gender dysphoria and sharing alternative methods to help children. Although punished by the University for different opinion, we ask for full-restitution and the Lord's restoration for the years the locust have eaten! In the Name of Jesus, we strike down plans of the enemy permeating universities in the push of the LGBTQ+ agenda. We declare a protection upon Christian professors as they speak boldly in truth, standing in their First Amendments rights, to fight against darkness aimed towards our children!- Amen.
