Trump vows to defund ‘transgender insanity,’ ban mutilation of children nationwide

RAPID CITY, South Dakota (LifeSiteNews) — President Donald Trump announced in a recent campaign speech that he plans to defund “transgender insanity” and prohibit the mutilation of gender-confused children.
“On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children,” the 2024 presidential candidate said at a September 8 rally in Rapid City, South Dakota.
“And I will keep men out of women’s sports,” President Trump pledged. “I will sign a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.” (Read more)

Biden admin strikes deal with Iran to swap prisoners, release $6 billion in frozen funds

The Biden administration has struck a deal with Iran to swap prisoners and release $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds. Per the deal, Iran will release five American citizens detained in Iran and the U.S. release five Iranian citizens being held in the U.S.
The deal creates a blanket waiver to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to Qatar without fear of violating U.S. sanctions. No money is going directly to Iran and no U.S. taxpayer funds are being used. The United States classifies Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed off on the deal late last week, but Congress was not notified of the decision until Monday, the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to the notification, which was obtained by The Associated Press.
The transfer of the $6 billion was the critical element in the prisoner release deal, which saw four of the five American detainees transferred from Iranian jails into house arrest last month. The fifth detainee had already been under house arrest.
National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson said Secretary Blinken undertook a procedural step last week "to ensure Iranian funds could move from one restricted account to another and remain restricted to humanitarian trade."
"As we have said from the outset, what is being pursued here is an arrangement wherein we secure the release of 5 wrongfully held Americans. This remains a sensitive and ongoing process," Watson said.
"While this is a step in the process, no individuals have been or will be released into U.S. custody this week. We have kept Congress extensively informed from the outset of this process – long before today – and we will continue to do so, including with additional already scheduled briefings this week." Parents Defending Education leader says Chinese Communist influence on American schools is 'deeply concerning'

The influx of foreign funding, often linked to the Chinese Communist Party, infiltrating American K-12 schools is "deeply concerning" to Parents Defending Education (PDE), a grassroots organization dedicated to fighting indoctrination in the classroom that plans to take the issue to Capitol Hill next week.
PDE president Nicole Neily is gearing up to speak at a House Education and Workforce Committee subcommittee hearing on CCP funding in K-12 institutions. Neily, who hopes the hearing puts a spotlight on the issue, feels it is critical because "most American families have no idea" it's taking place throughout the nation.
"As we know, he who pays the piper calls the tune. And, a recent Parents Defending Education investigation found that there were many, many districts around the country that have been taking money from the People's Republic of China over the past several years," Neily told Fox News Digital.
"We believe that families deserve to know what is taking place, where the money is coming from, what the curriculum is, so that they can make a decision whether they want their children to participate in these programs or not," she continued. "We are not saying that these programs shouldn't exist. We are not saying that children shouldn't learn Mandarin or Chinese culture, but rather that families should know and be able to decide whether they want their child to participate in a program that might have a teacher that has come from China, that is a member of the Communist Party and that is teaching true history." We pray for every leader, and every representative that is listening so that they would take these concerns seriously. McCarthy Launches Impeachment Inquiry of President Joe Biden

Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) announced on Sept. 12 that the House will open an impeachment inquiry to investigate the possible involvement of President Joe Biden in the business dealings of his son Hunter Biden.
“House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden's conduct. Taken together these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption,” Mr. McCarthy said.
“Today I am directing our house committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. This logical next step will give our committees, the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public,” Mr. McCarthy said.
The investigation will be led by Reps. James Comer (R-Ky.), Jason Smith (R-Mo.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the chairmen of the oversight, ways and means, and judiciary committees, respectively.
“We will go wherever the evidence takes us,” Mr. McCarthy said.
Mr. McCarthy declined to answer reporters' questions at the conclusion of his statement.
White House spokesman for oversight and investigations Ian Sims called the move "extreme politics at its worst. House Republicans have been investigating the President for 9 months, and they've turned up no evidence of wrongdoing," Sims wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. "His own GOP members have said so. He vowed to hold a vote to open impeachment, now he flip-flopped because he doesn't have support."

1. Israeli government pushes for net zero by 2050 with climate bill - Jerusalem Post
The urgency of the climate bill increased after a recent report showed that Israel had recorded its highest greenhouse gas emissions levels since 2012.
Israel is en route to becoming net zero by 2050 after the Ministerial Committee on Legislation passed the climate bill proposed by the Environmental Protection Ministry on Tuesday.
The bill still has to go to the Knesset for preliminary reading, then to a Knesset committee, and ultimately pass three readings in the committee and the plenum. Passing the bill by the coalition was delayed because of disagreements among the Finance, Energy, and Environmental Protection ministries.
"The climate bill is a bill that affects every one of us," said Environmental Protection Minister Idit Silman. "The bill… changes Israel's reality and positions the country alongside developed countries." (Read more)

Tensions and lack of trust between Palestinians and the PA contributing to unrest in the West Bank, says Tor Wennesland.
Terror groups in the West Bank are better armed than the Palestinian Authority security forces, as the communication between the PA erodes and communities under its control fall apart, Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland said on Tuesday.
There is a “very significant uptick in the availability of very sophisticated weapons that are around all over the West Bank,” Wennesland told the World Summit of Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya.
These weapons are “not in the hands of the Palestinian security forces, but of organized groups either connected to Hamas or Islamic Jihad or others or more rag-tag” entities, he explained. (Read more)

3. 2 Wounded in Huwara Terror Drive-By Shooting Attack - The Jewish Press
At least two Israelis were wounded Tuesday night in a driveby shooting attack aimed at their vehicle in the terrorist hotbed of Huwara, north of Jerusalem. The attack took place on Highway 60 at the Beitot Junction, the IDF said.
IDF and Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics treated the two victims at the scene, both in their 30s and both fully conscious. “Their injuries primarily consist of shrapnel wounds,” Magen David Adom (MDA) said.
Both victims were taken to nearby Beilinson Medical Center in Petach Tikvah with head wounds from flying glass. A doctor at the hospital subsequently told reporters that both were listed in fair condition with injuries to their heads and chests.
Photos of the victims’ car show the windshield shattered with at least four bullet holes and smashed glass on the seats, along with a blood-stained pair of tzitzit (ritual fringed garment). In addition, the windows of all four doors, front and back, were blown out by the gunfire.
IDF soldiers set up roadblocks in the area and launched a search for the attackers. (Read more)

4. Palestinians riot on Gaza border as Ben-Gvir demands prison restrictions - Jerusalem Post
Palestinians rioted along the border of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening in protest against restrictions National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir intends to implement against Palestinian prisoners. According to Palestinian reports, the rioters burned tires and set off explosives near the border fence.
Last week, the Supreme Emergency Committee for Palestinian Prisoners announced that the prisoners intend to launch a hunger strike starting this Thursday. The committee has downplayed the decisions by Netanyahu to push off the issue, stating that they still intend to move forward with the hunger strike.
The committee and the Palestinian factions called for Palestinians to gather at demonstrations in support of the prisoners throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, with protests held in a number of cities. (Read more)

1. CDC advisors recommend updated Covid vaccines for all Americans ages 6 months and up - CNBC News
An independent advisory panel to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday recommended that all Americans ages 6 months and up receive updated Covid vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna the next step toward the shots reaching Americans in the coming days.
Thirteen advisors voted in favor of that “universal” recommendation for Americans, while one voted against it.
CDC Director Mandy Cohen still has to sign off on that recommendation before the new shots become available at pharmacies, local health departments and clinics nationwide. The CDC expects the first doses to be available within 48 hours of that recommendation, Georgina Peacock, head of the CDC’s immunization services division, said during the advisory meeting on Tuesday.
“I think that it’s clear that vaccination is going to prevent serious illness and death across all age groups. It is a vaccine-preventable disease,” said Dr. Beth Bell, clinical professor at the University of Washington and member of the panel, during the advisory meeting. “And so, for that reason, I favor the universal recommendation.” (Read more)

2. Teachers Who Refused COVID Shots Must Be Reinstated with Back Pay, Rules State Supreme Court Judge - Western Journalism
Ten New York City teachers who were fired for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine must be reinstated with back pay, a New York state judge ruled last week.State Supreme Court Judge Ralph J. Porzio held that the city’s denials of religious accommodation to certain employees were unlawful, arbitrary and capricious, according to Fox News.
The case of DiCapua v. City of New York concerned a variety of educators who sued after their requests for a religious exemption were denied.

3. ‘Auks’: A Fourth Joe Biden Email Alias Surfaces - Brietbart
Then-Vice President Joe Biden used a fourth alias, “auks@att.blackberry.net,” as early as 2010 to communicate with his family, according to the nonprofit Marco Polo, based on information from Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell.”
“Auks” is the mascot of Archmere Academy, a private Roman Catholic college preparatory school in Delaware and the alma mater of Joe and Hunter Biden.
Joe Biden’s “auks” alias received an email on May 10, 2011, from his niece, Casey Owens, who served as a special assistant for the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue at the Treasury Department.
On April 12, 2010, Owens emailed Hunter Biden and Eric Schwerin, the Biden family bookkeeper, about China Investment Corporation (CIC), China’s largest sovereign wealth fund and a business target of Hunter’s. CIC is a state-owned entity and manages part of the Chinese government’s foreign exchange reserves.

4. Whistleblower drops bombshell about CIA efforts to suppress COVID theory - DML News
A CIA whistleblower told Congress that the agency offered officials on a team investigating COVID-19 origins “significant monetary incentive” to change their positions, from that it originated out of a leak from the Wuhan lab to “unable to determine” the origins, Fox News Digital has learned.
Fox News Digital obtained letters House Coronavirus Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner sent to the CIA and a former official.
According to the whistleblower, the CIA paid off six analysts to change their stories on where the Covid virus originated. The whistleblower, who presents as a highly credible senior-level CIA officer, alleges that of the seven members assigned to the CIA team tasked with analyzing COVID-19 origins, six officers concluded that the virus likely originated from a lab in Wuhan, China. The CIA, then however, allegedly offered financial incentives to six of the experts involved in the investigation to change their conclusion in favor of a zoonotic origin. (Read more)

5. Iranian president says Tehran will spend the $6 billion released in prisoner exchange ‘wherever we need it’ - NBC News
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said his government will decide how it will spend $6 billion in previously frozen funds due to be released in a prisoner exchange agreement with the United States, telling NBC News’ Lester Holt that the money will be spent "wherever we need it."
In an exclusive interview in Tehran, Raisi suggested that the Americans held in Iran would be coming home soon, saying that the U.S.-Iran prisoner exchange deal would be completed in “due time” and that the American detainees were “very healthy.”
Under the arrangement, Tehran will be granted access to the roughly $6 billion in Iranian oil revenues that were blocked in South Korean banks because of U.S. sanctions. But U.S. officials say Qatar’s central bank will oversee the funds and Iran will be permitted to use the money only for humanitarian purposes in accordance with U.S. sanctions.
In response to Raisi’s remarks, a senior Biden administration official said the released funds would first be transferred to Qatar. The Treasury Department would then track all transactions closely to ensure the money is used exclusively for humanitarian purposes. (Read more)

6. Kroger and Albertsons plan to sell over 400 stores in connection with $24.6B merger - Fox Business
Grocery giants Kroger and Albertsons announced their plan to sell more than 400 stores and other assets in connection with a $24.6 billion merger proposed last fall, seeking to clear a path for the grocery chains to unite forces.
Kroger and Albertsons agreed to sell 413 stores throughout the country to C&S Wholesale Grocers. Together the companies employ over 710,000 people and operate nearly 5,000 stores across 48 states and the District of Columbia. The plan comes as the companies hope to secure U.S. regulatory clearance and not infringe on U.S. antitrust laws.
Both companies said they will also sell the QFC, Mariano’s and Carrs brand names in a news release announcing their plans. Kroger will also divest the Debi Lilly Design, Primo Taglio, Open Nature, ReadyMeals and Waterfront Bistro private label brands.
C&S will also acquire eight distribution centers and two offices in the deal. (Read more)

7. California parental notification policy for gender changes heading to court in landmark case - Just The News
In a case that could determine the future of parental notification policies for gender changes across California, the Chino Valley School District will be facing off in court against the state Department of Justice during an Oct. 13 hearing for a full preliminary injunction against the school district’s new policy.
Chino Valley’s parental notification policy requires faculty to write parents within three days if a student is involved in violence, talks about suicide, or requests to identify with or participate in programs or use school facilities that are for a gender different from what is on their birth certificate or official records.
Five other schools have adopted similar parental notification policies, and are largely based on AB 1314, a California Assembly measure proposed by Assemblymember Bill Essayli, R-Woodcrest, which failed to earn consideration in a committee. (Read more)

8. JPMorgan allegedly notified the government of $1 billion in suspicious transactions by Epstein - NBC News
JPMorgan Chase allegedly informed the government of over $1 billion in transactions related to “human trafficking” by the late financier Jeffrey Epstein dating to 2003, a lawyer for the U.S. Virgin Islands said.
The Wall Street giant reported the financial activity — which took place over 16 years — as “suspicious” to the Treasury Department in 2019 after Epstein died by suicide, Mimi Liu, a lawyer for the U.S. Virgin Islands, said at a recent hearing in its lawsuit against the bank, according to a transcript of the public proceeding.
“Epstein’s entire business with JPMorgan and JPMorgan’s entire business with Jeffrey Epstein was human trafficking,” Liu said. “The only reason that JPMorgan finally after 16 years reported the billion dollars in suspicious transactions for Jeffrey Epstein is because he was arrested, and then he was dead.” (Read more)

On Tuesday, August 8, in a response to Weather Channel Meteorologist Stephanie Abrams interview question about whether Joe Biden would declare a national emergency on climate change, Biden said, “I’ve already done that, the national emergency–we’ve conserved more land, we’ve moved into–we’ve rejoined the Paris Climate Accord, we’ve passed a 368 billion-dollar climate control [initiative]. We’re moving. It is the existential threat to humanity.” A month later on September 2, Biden toured the Hurricane Idalia damage in Florida and reminded reporters, “There’s no real intelligence to deny the impacts of the climate crisis anymore.” Some 1,600 scientists of the Global Climate Intelligence Group disagree.
On August 14, in a jointly signed world climate declaration, 1,609 scientist from around the world said, “There is no climate emergency. Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures. The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Are We Seeing The End Times 'Peace Accord With Many' Beginning To Take Shape?

One of the most important international agreements in modern history is being secretly negotiated behind the scenes, and once it is publicly announced it could fundamentally change the geography of the Middle East.
As part of a blockbuster deal to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, the Saudis want to achieve some sort of a diplomatic breakthrough for the Palestinians. That won't be an independent Palestinian state, because Benjamin Netanyahu would never accept such an outcome. But the Saudis have floated another plan that might be acceptable to Netanyahu's government, and it would result in a historic division of the Holy Land.
The United States is the mediator for these negotiations, and it is being reported that the Biden administration wants to get an agreement finalized "before the end of the first quarter of next year".
Joe Biden is quite concerned about his legacy, and he knows that there is no guarantee that he will win in 2024.
The Saudis are also quite motivated to get a deal done, because they realize that a deal may not be possible once a Republican enters the White House.
The Biden administration told the Israeli government last week that it would have to make significant concessions to the Palestinians as part of any possible mega-deal with Saudi Arabia that includes normalization between the kingdom and Israel, four U.S. officials and a source briefed on the issue told Axios.
So what would "significant concessions" look like?
We know that there will be no independent Palestinian state while Netanyahu is in charge.
But would Netanyahu support merging the Palestinians into the nation of Jordan?
Supposedly this is a plan that is favored by the Saudis.

JFK Assassination Witness Breaks 60-Year Silence, Refutes Key Claim

A witness to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy spoke out for the first time in 60 years and refuted a key claim regarding the 1963 incident and a "magic bullet."
Paul Landis, an 88-year-old former Secret Service agent, was just a few feet away from when President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas. At the time, he was assigned to protect Jackie Kennedy, the former first lady.
Mr. Landis, in a recent interview with the New York Times, cast doubt on the government-backed Warren Commission's finding that a "magic bullet" struck and exited the president before it struck then-Texas Gov. John Connally Jr., a theory that has been the subject of criticism for decades and has helped fuel a range alternative theories about the former president's assassination. Officially, the U.S. government and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has maintained that a lone gunman—Lee Harvey Oswald—was the sole perpetrator.
Based on discrepancies between things that he witnessed during the assassination and the Warren Commission's report that investigated the president's death, he said "I’m beginning to doubt myself" and that "now I begin to wonder.”
In the interview with the paper, published on Sept. 9, Mr. Landis recalled hearing multiple gunshots at Dealy Plaza in Dallas as he went behind President Kennedy's limousine, seeing the president moving forward after being shot in the head. After the assassination, Mr. Landis recalled picking up what he called a near-perfect-condition bullet from the back seat of President Kennedy's limousine, near where the president had been sitting.
The former agent then transported the bullet to the hospital where President Kennedy was taken and put on a stretcher to be examined. The reason why he took it is because he believed someone might pocket the bullet, which he did not describe in detail, as a keepsake.
Mr. Landis suggested in the interview that the reason why investigators believed that the "magic bullet" struck both the former president and the Texas governor, Mr. Connally, is because the bullet that Mr. Landis discovered was later found on a stretcher belonging to Mr. Landis. It wasn't until the NY Times interview this week that Mr. Landis confirmed that it was he who found the bullet and placed it there.
He added that he did not believe the bullet went too deeply in President Kennedy's back before, according to him, "popping back out" before he was removed from the limousine.
“It was a piece of evidence that I realized right away [was] very important,” Mr. Landis told the outlet. “And I didn’t want it to disappear or get lost. So it was, ‘Paul, you’ve got to make a decision’—and I grabbed it.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

The US government used the terror attacks to usher in the Patriot Act – which is now being used for warrantless spying.
22 years later we now have a president who purposely stayed thousands of miles away from the attack sites on 9/11.
Joe Biden is a disgrace to this country. He opened his remarks in Alaska by talking about himself and cracking jokes.
Biden also lied about visiting Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attacks.
“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden said.
This is a brazen lie.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has granted an "absolute pardon" to Scott Smith, a father who was arrested at a Loudoun County School Board meeting in June 2021. The arrest followed a series of events involving the alleged rape of Smith's daughter by another student, which ignited a firestorm of controversy surrounding parental rights and school policies. Smith's pardon came after he was charged with obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct during the school board meeting, which he attended to voice concerns about his daughter's situation. The incident took place amid discussions about a policy allowing transgender students to use restrooms of their choice. The pardon, issued Sunday, highlights the circumstances leading to Smith's arrest. It states that a community member threatened to spread false and malicious information about Smith's business, aiming to damage his reputation during the meeting. An ensuing verbal confrontation resulted in Smith's charges, which eventually led to his conviction in a general district court. However, an appeals court later disqualified the prosecutor due to concerns about the integrity of the prosecution.
The governor's pardon emphasizes Smith's factual innocence and false accusations of "domestic terrorism" and "hate crimes" that tarnished his reputation while advocating for his daughter, a victim of sexual assault. Smith's story garnered nationwide attention and galvanized parents who were concerned about school safety and ideological agendas. Governor Youngkin's campaign promise to uphold parental rights played a significant role in his election to office. The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2 that, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn." All it takes to turn this declining situation around is leadership that stands firmly on godly principles and morality to effect significant change.
