Special Edition: Focus on the War in Israel!
Bloomberg is now reporting that the U.S. is sending a six-vessel fleet of aircraft carriers to Israel, as the death toll has now increased to 700, including an un-named number of American citizens.

We will not delay this posting any longer . . . this MONDAY edition.is going out NOW!
PLEASE NOTE:

Tonight we will welcome two speakers on our National Call, each addressing topics of vital interest in this hour.

First, at 8:00 p.m., we will welcome back Laural Brooks, the National Director of Engagement for My Faith Votes. Laurel's topic will be the upcoming vote in Ohio Against Issue 1, Which Allows Abortions Up to Birth and would overrule a previous vote to protect life. Laurel will tell us how we can support the pro-life citizens in Ohio by joining them in a letter-writing campaign. Welcome, Laursl!

In commenting on this vote, Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life stated:
“So many Ohioans think that if Issue 1 successfully passes that it will return Ohio to where the abortion and pro-life limitations were prior to Roe being overturned,” Mancini explained. “That’s not true. This will go so much farther than Roe. In fact, overnight, Ohio, which has been a traditionally a very pro-life state, will become one of the most pro-abortion states in the country, if not the most pro-abortion state.”

Second, at 9:00 p.m., we will welcome our brother in Christ, Max Greiner, who over the years has built a magnificent Sculpture Garden in Kerrville, Texas, honoring our Lord and His Word. Max will share insights about the upcoming solar eclipse, and how we can position ourselvers to serve as His intercessors during this celestial event. Massive IDF Call-up as Gunfights Continue in Towns, 300 Israelis Dead, Rockets Persist

The Israel Defense Forces was engaged in a massive build-up of forces Saturday night, calling up large numbers of reservists and preparing for war as it continued to reel from one of the darkest days in Israel’s history, which saw an unprecedented terrorist assault on the country’s southern communities, with hundreds killed, over 1,500 wounded and apparently dozens abducted by the Hamas terror group.

In an assault of startling breadth, Hamas gunmen rolled into as many as 22 locations in southern Israel, including towns and other communities as far as 15 miles (24 kilometers) from the Gaza border. In some places, they roamed for hours, gunning down civilians and soldiers as Israel’s military scrambled to muster a response. Gun battles continued well after nightfall, and terrorists held hostages in standoffs in at least two towns.

The death toll from the day’s events continued to rise by the hour and as of early Sunday morning stood at 300 people, many of them civilians slain in their homes and in the streets, as well as at a large outdoor party targeted by the terrorists.

Hospitals were flooded with wounded, with the latest tally at 1,590, some 300 of those seriously injured and 19 in critical condition.

Prayer: Abba, we are hearing reports that some IDF reservists are finding it difficult to report to the base due to no public transportation running right now. We ask that you will get these soldiers to the base to report for duty in a timely manner! We ask that all differences they have politically will be SET ASIDE. UNITE their minds and hearts together and give them a laser focus to DEFEND the LAND and the PEOPLE of Israel! Grant them FAVOR and SUCCESS! Please Abba, go before them, and may they get the job done, bring the hostages home, and clean out and neutralize the terrorist nests! In Yeshua's name, amen and amen!

Scripture: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore. (Psalm 133: 1-3)

Promising Merciless War on Hamas, Netanyahu says Israel will "Avenge This Black Day"

Prime minister warns Gazans to ‘get out now,’ vowing to smash terror group’s capabilities after unprecedented surprise attack, says Biden and other leaders back freedom of action
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to bring the full force of the Israeli military against the Gaza Strip’s Hamas terror group Saturday night, warning Israelis of tough days ahead as the nation retaliates for a shocking surprise attack that has left hundreds dead and turned sleepy border towns into a war zone.
“The Israel Defense Forces will act immediately to destroy Hamas’s capabilities,” Netanyahu said in a televised address, as terrorists were still holed up with hostages in at least three locations inside Israel. “We will cripple them mercilessly and avenge this black day they have brought upon Israel and its citizens.”
“Residents of Gaza, get out now. We will be everywhere and with all our might,” he added, as thousands of reserves troops made their way to military bases for a widely expected counteroffensive.

Prayer: Abba, we ask that you will be with the IDF ground forces as they are going into Gaza on foot to quash this violent attack. May they find and rescue EVERY SINGLE citizen and civilian, men, women and children, who were taken captive as hostages. We say to the enemy, you will RELEASE this hostages! NO prisoner exchange!  Abba, protect these IDF men and woman as they go into harm's way. May they be supernaturally protected under the wings of the Almighty!

Scripture: He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth
shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:1-4)

Netanyahu, Lapid, and Gantz Discuss Forming Emergency Government as Country Faces War

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Opposition Leader Yair Lapid and National Unity party leader Benny Gantz on Saturday discussed forming an emergency government following Hamas’s devastating surprise attack against Israel on Saturday.

Netanyahu confirmed the matter was raised during a meeting with Gantz and Yesh Atid party chairman Lapid earlier on Saturday.

His Likud party said that such a government would be the same format as the Levi Eshkol government that then-opposition leader Menachem Begin joined before the Six-Day War in 1967.

The proposal comes after at least 250 Israelis were killed, over 1,500 were injured, and numerous citizens were taken hostage during Hamas’s unprecedented assault on Israel.

Prayer: Abba, we pray that as this Emergency Government forms, that you will bring Lapid and Gantz into UNITY with Netanyahu! May they be strong and united in their laser focused effort to quash this outbreak of war!  May this war be ENDED QUICKLY! May all the terrorists who have crossed into Israel be quickly found, and neutralized! Abba, may this government take the Gaza strip back, annex it, and bring it under Israeli sovereignty! May this beachhead of terrorism be cleaned out, and taken back under Israeli control!

Scripture: He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth
shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you. (Psalm 91: 4-7)

Fighting continued in Israeli territory Sunday as the IDF attempted to clear the villages around the Gaza Strip of the Hamas terrorists who invaded Saturday.

i24 News – Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to begin preparations for evacuating the north, as a state of war was officially passed by the government cabinet.

The IDF were earlier instructed to evacuate residents living in the south, within two and a half miles from the Gaza Strip, following the war that erupted on Saturday when the Hamas terrorist group attacked, but had to halt the efforts on Sunday.

As such, Gallant instructed the IDF to start arming residents in the area with weapons and ammunition. In addition, there would now be a army officer responsible for communicating all the mayors and regional councils in the area bordering the Gaza Strip, “to assist in the management of the situation on the home front.”

Palestinians from the Gaza Strip were able to break through the border security fence and infiltrate Israel on Saturday, led by Hamas and with the participation of other terror groups from the coastal enclave. (Read more)

6. Israelis overseas, including Messianic Jews and our staff at AIN, are returning home to fight, will leave family, work and businesses behind - All Israel News

When the first images of Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel began pouring in, the world was shocked. But for many Israelis living overseas, that shock turned into resolve.

It was time to return home to fight.

Yotam Avrahami, an Israeli who has lived in New York for four years, is one of those returning to join the war effort.

Avrahami, who is leaving his wife and 7-month-old daughter in the U.S., told the New York Times that the images of friends and loved ones under attack in Israel convinced him to return.

“It’s the thought that you have friends that will be in immediate danger, and you cannot help them,” Avrahami said. “You’re trying to protect them. It’s as simple as that.” (Read more)

Israel’s military fired back at the Lebanese areas, but there was no immediate word on casualties.

The Israeli army said it shelled the areas where the fire came from on the Lebanese side of the border. (Read more)

Israel pounded the Palestinian enclave of Gaza on Sunday, killing hundreds of people in retaliation for one of the bloodiest attacks in its history when Islamist group Hamas killed 700 Israelis and abducted dozens more.

Hamas fighters’ rampage through Israel towns on Saturday was the deadliest such incursion since Egypt and Syria’s attacks in the Yom Kippur war 50 years ago and has threatened to ignite another conflagration in the never-ending conflict.

In response, Israeli air strikes hit housing blocks, tunnels, a mosque and homes of Hamas officials in Gaza, killing more than 400 people, including 20 children, in keeping with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s vow of “mighty vengeance”.

“The price the Gaza Strip will pay will be a very heavy one that will change reality for generations,” said Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in Ofakim town, which suffered casualties and had hostages taken. (Read more)

1. From Trump to Congress, Hamas attacks on Israel boomerang on Biden and his Iran policy - Just the News

Trump warned one month ago that recent release of $6 billion to Tehran would result in terror attacks, kidnapping.

President Joe Biden's decision to reward Iran with $6 billion in unfrozen assets is coming under withering criticism after Tehran-backed Hamas militants unleashed an unprovoked deadly attack on Israel that generated condemnation worldwide.

The political peril for the 46th president, who has banked his foreign policy in part on an effort to woo Iran into a new nuclear deal, was apparent from the campaign trail to the marble halls of Congress within hours of Saturday’s unprovoked and unprecedented attack on Israel.

“The Biden Administration has brought nothing but chaos and destruction because of their weakness and incompetence,” House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik said late Saturday.

In Iowa, multiple Republican presidential candidates took time from busy campaign stops to blame Biden and his policies for the Iranian-backed Hamas attacks. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray over these failed policies of the Biden administration and his incompetence. Help us Lord, we pray. Deliver us from evil and weak men.

- Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6)

2. Israel mobilizes massive military response against Hamas after first declaration of war since 1973 - Just the News

Israeli soldiers fought Hamas militants in the streets of several southern cities on Sunday while repelling a rocket attack from Hezbollah terrorists in the north as America’s closest ally in the Middle East formally declared it was at war for the first time in a half century. Israel also endured an attack in the north Sunday from Hezbollah.

Israel's security cabinet officially declared war Saturday night, the first such declaration since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Israeli troops were still trying to free dozens of hostages, taken by the Hamas militants during a surprise attack that began Saturday morning during a Jewish holiday celebration. The scope and devastation of that attack, which included thousands of rockets, became more clear on Sunday as Western experts said they believed that Iran was behind the new violence. Many on both sides were civilians.

Israeli officials reported that at least 600 Israeli citizens were killed in the initial attacks and fighting. Palestinian authorities reported approximately 300 other deaths in Gaza, where Israel began a significant counterattack.

“We will go through every community until we kill every terrorist that is in Israeli territory,” Israeli Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari told reporters. “Every terrorist located in a house, all the commanders in houses, will be hit by Israeli fire. That will continue escalating in the coming hours.” (Read more)

- We intercede over these attacks on Israel and we pray these hostages will be released and unharmed. Give Israel strength for battle and victory, in Jesus name.

3. Israeli President: ‘The State of Israel Will Win. We Have No Other Choice’ - Breitbart

Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed his nation on Saturday night, vowing that Israelis will defeat Palestinian Hamas terrorists because ‘We have no other choice.’

Herzog, the country’s ceremonial president, is a unifying figure — a left-wing politician who has served while both left- and right-wing governments have been in office.

He recounted the scenes of the previous 36 hours, reminding Israelis that Palestinian terrorists, who attacked on the Sabbath and on the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret. Herzog noted that the terrorists killed Israelis of all ages, male and female, regardless of faith or ethnicity, and wherever they lived, as they were simply going about their lives, simply because they were Israeli.

“These are your enemies, O Israel, and we will overcome them — with the power of the Israel Defense Forces, with our security forces, and with the power of our spirit.”

He also described the war as one for survival:  “This is the choice of our lives: to be armed and ready, strong and prepared, or to let the sword fall from our hands, and to let our lives be destroyed.”

He urged Israelis to put all other political divisions aside and to unite in defense of their country. “There are hard days ahead: this is time to unite in the face of the enemy.” (Read more)

Tesla CEO and Elon Musk has endorsed a pro-Palestinian terror account on his X/Twitter platform, claiming the “War Monitor” account, which puts Israel in quote marks as it argues there is “no such thing,” and refers to Palestinian terrorists as “resistance fighters,” is a good source for “following the war in real-time.”

“For following the war in real-time, @WarMonitors & @sentdefender are good,” Musk wrote Sunday on X/Twitter. “It is also worth following direct sources on the ground. Please add interesting options in replies below.” (Read more)

Two strong earthquakes have shaken parts of western Afghanistan — with up to 2,000 feared dead and many injured. It's one of the deadliest earthquakes to strike the country in two decades.

A Taliban government spokesman said Sunday that death toll from strong earthquakes that shook Herat in western Afghanistan has risen to over 2,000.

8. Russia signals intent to quickly revoke ratification of nuclear test ban treaty - Reuters

Russia indicated on Friday that it was moving swiftly towards revoking its ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) after President Vladimir Putin held out the possibility of resuming nuclear testing.

Putin said on Thursday Russia's nuclear doctrine - which sets out the conditions under which he would press the nuclear button - did not need updating but that he was not yet ready to say whether or not Moscow needed to resume nuclear tests.

The Kremlin chief said that Russia could look at revoking ratification of the CTBT as the United States had signed but not ratified it.

Russia's top lawmaker, Vyacheslav Volodin, then said the State Duma lower house of parliament would swiftly consider if there was a need to revoke Russia's ratification of the treaty.

The comments by Putin and Volodin suggest that Russia is seriously considering revoking ratification of the treaty, which bans nuclear explosions by everyone, everywhere. (Read more)

Four 1,900-yr-old Roman Swords Found
in the Judean Desert

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. – Hebrews 14:4-12 (ESV)

More Discoveries in a Judean Cave

Archaeologists have discovered four nearly 2,000-year-old Roman swords in a cave in the Judean Desert. Experts believe the weapons were hidden in the narrow rock crevice after being captured by Judean rebels during the Bar Kokhba revolt. The swords are linked to a significant time in the history of Israel that may confirm Biblical prophecies.

“We’re talking about an extremely rare find, the likes of which have never been found in Israel. Four swords, amazingly preserved, including the fine condition of the metal, the handles, and the scabbards,” said Dr. Eitan Klein, one of the directors of the Judean Desert Survey by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) in a video announcing the discovery.

The swords were found in a cave well known to archeologists near Ein Gedi National Park, close to the Dead Sea. There has been a previous discovery in the cave of a stalactite with a fragmentary ink inscription written in ancient Hebrew script, characteristic of the First Temple period. Read More

DOD Forced to Pay Liberty Counsel $1.8 Million After Losing Legal Battles Over Vax Mandates
The Department of Defense (DOD) has signed a $1.8 million settlement with Liberty Counsel to pay for attorney's fees and costs after the Christian religious rights law firm litigated for two years against the Biden administration's order mandating all U.S. military service members get the COVID-19 shot. The big settlement, signed by legal representatives from both sides, was filed on Oct. 3 in the Middle District Court of Florida located in Tampa. The DOD is now required to pay Liberty Counsel its fee within 21 days. In a statement announcing the settlement with the DOD, Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Matt Staver said, "The military COVID shot mandate is dead. Our heroic service members can no longer be forced to take this experimental jab that conflicts with their religious convictions. Through our daily work with service members in every branch, we have had the privilege of knowing some of the finest people who love God and love America. These heroes should not have been mistreated by our own government," Staver continued. "At the same time, we have come to realize that many of the high-ranking members of leadership, the Pentagon, and the Biden administration need to be replaced. Collectively, they dishonored the brave men and women who defend our freedom. We stand ready to defend our defenders of freedom if any religious discrimination occurs in the future," he added.

The settlement agreement comes after thousands of service members were denied religious accommodation requests (RAR) from the mandate. Some service members have been punished, demoted, or discharged as a result, Liberty Counsel said in a press release.  Of the more than 8,000 service members who were discharged from the U.S. military for refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, only 43 have endeavored to rejoin in the eight months after the vaccine mandate was rescinded, according to data provided to CNN by the military branches. As CBN News reported on Dec. 30, 2022, the DOD was forced to rescind the COVID-19 shot mandate for all military service members after Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The legislation gave Austin 30 days to end the mandate. As CBN News reported in January of this year, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin signed a memo rescinding his August 2021 mandate that had forced all members of the U.S. military to be vaccinated. The memo also canceled his November 2021 mandate requiring the same vaccinations for members of the National Guard and for reservists. But it also gave commanders some discretion in how or whether to deploy troops who are not vaccinated. (CBN) Read More
- Abba we lift GLORY to You for justice and restitution granted to Liberty Counsel in their battle for religious rights! Although our hearts rejoice, we are also grieved for military members who were forced to comply with vaccination against their will. In the Name of Jesus, we speak Your blood-covering over each one and declare restoration for what the enemy has stolen from our brave men and women. We also proclaim a quick-dismantling of any discrimination against religious rights and our nation's unvaccinated! In the powerful name of Yeshua-Amen

Scripture: You shall have a song
As in the night when a holy festival is kept,
And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute,
To come into the mountain of the LORD,
To the Mighty One of Israel
. Isaiah 30: 29

Lyrics:
And the Lord shall
Cause his glorious
Voice to be heard
And you shall
Have a song
In the night
Come to the Mountain
Of the Lord
See his glory and His might

He's the Mighty One of Israel
The Mighty One of Israel
His voice shall be heard
In the Power of His Word
The Mighty One of Israel

The eyes of the blind
Shall be opened and they'll see
The ears of the deaf shall hear
The lame man shall jump
And shall leap
As a heart
The tongue of the dumb
Shall sing

The Lord shall
Cause his glorious
Beauty to be seen
The desert shall
Bloom and rejoice
Say to them that
Are fearful of heart
Be strong and
Listen to His voice

(Repeat chorus twice)
