Mom Headed to Planned Parenthood Changes Her Mind About Having Abortion
The first reported baby saved during this fall’s 40 Days for Life campaign was in Illinois…and so was the second. Even in communities where ending abortion politically is a non-starter, prayer saves lives! “The Flossmoor campaign had one saved baby,” reported Rich, the Flossmoor campaign leader. A sidewalk counselor walked an abortion-bound mother to the pregnancy help center next door to Planned Parenthood. “She was counseled and decided to give her baby a new lease on life,” Rich added.

That’s not the only victory in Flossmoor. A post-abortive mother approached vigil participants and said that she had an abortion 25 years ago. A quarter-century later, the abortion still hurt–especially since it contributed to infertility and a broken marriage. Prayer warriors directed her, too, to the pregnancy help center, where she received counseling and grief support… “She is now considering joining us and participating in helping other women not make the same mistake she made,” Rich said. - Father we CELEBRATE the largest mobilization in history of Pro-Life believers honoring the '40 Days for Life' vigil across our nation! We lift a shout of praise for powerful testimonies from Illinois, Wisconsin and Florida proclaiming change of heart due to the presence of sidewalk prayer-warriors and pregnancy centers bringing hope to desperate mothers. We give You all glory for the amazing report marking an estimated 25,000 saved lives as of this Fall. We come before Abba in repentance for the sin of abortion within our nation; and declare in Jesus Name that spirit-lead prayers through saints will bring spreading testimonies of miraculous protection for the unborn child and holy righteousness will fall upon America! By the blood of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

JD Vance reminds CBS moderators of debate rules after they try to fact-check him

CBS News announced last week that it would not allow live fact-checking or corrections during the debate

Sen. JD Vance pushed back on the CBS News moderators who attempted to fact-check him in a contentious moment during the vice presidential debate on Tuesday.

Despite CBS announcing that it would not allow live fact-checking during the debate, moderator Margaret Brennan, interjected to correct Vance after he suggested that illegal immigrants are overwhelming resources in Springfield, Ohio.

"Just to clarify for our viewers, Springfield, Ohio does have a large number of Haitian migrants who have legal status, temporary protected status," Brennan said. (Fox News) Read more

- Abba, we thank You for Your son JD's courage and boldness to speak into the rule breaking by the moderators of yesterday's debate.  We ask Holy Spirit to move across the US opening eyes and minds of all who have been deceived and blinded by the enemy, keeping them from seeing truth.  Give all who have been deceived new vision, new hearing and new hearts to understand.  Father God, we ask for a new Revelation of Your heart, of Your purposes for our nation, pour out Your love and power as we seek Your face and interceed for this election.  We decree and declare that You are the God who sets kings up and brings kings down, we ask Your perfect will to be done on earth as it is in heaven in our choosing of leadership.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.

US fired about a dozen interceptors to take down Iranian missiles: Pentagon

The U.S. response to Iran's attack against Israel included firing about a dozen interceptors to shoot down some of the nearly 200 ballistic missiles launched, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

The interceptors were fired from the USS Cole and USS Bulkley guided-missile destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean, Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said.

Ryder said there was "minimal damage" to the ground in Israel.

The U.S. was not given advanced warning of the attack and no American personnel were injured, Ryder said.

“I'm not aware of any pre warning by Iran, about their potential attack. As you know, this is something we've been following very closely for a while,” he said. (Fox News) Read more.

Six killed, nine injured during terrorist attack in Israel, authorities say

Six people were killed and nine injured during a Tuesday night terrorist attack in Israel, around the same time a large barrage of rocket fire targeted the Jewish state from Iran, authorities said.

The six civilians were either shot and stabbed in Tel Aviv, the Israel Police said.

“Two terrorists who started a killing spree on the lightrail and continued on foot were neutralized,” by authorities and bystanders who were carrying firearms, a police spokesman said in a video message released by authorities.

No information was released on the conditions of the nine people injured. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Abba, once again the Islamic Jihad is attacking Your people and Your land.  We are both in despair and jubilant at the same time. We despair at the murder of 8 people on the train in Tel Aviv. Our hearts break for those who love them. We ask for You to be to each of them what they need You to be.  Bring comfort and peace, but mostly, bring Your presence.  Hold each one close to your heart, bring hope as only You can do.

We are jubilant because of the miracles You did in protecting all of Israel from 181 Iranian missiles, allowing only 1 death in what could have been carnage as the Iranians were hoping.  Father God, open the eyes of the Iranians to see YOUR hand in what DIDN'T happen, in no major damage to Israeli cities or military bases.  Let them see their intentions blown up by Your power in protecting what belongs to You.....Jesus we ask that same prayer for every Jew who does not know you.  Let THIS be the time of their turning, of their believing, of their accepting You as their Lord and Savior, even in this time of Rosh Hashana. We ask this in the name Jehovah Rohi, The Lord our Shepherd. Amen!

- "The children of your servants will live in your presence;
their descendants will be established before you."

Search Crews Wade through Muck of Communities 'Wiped off the Map' by Helene

Cadaver dogs and search crews trudged through knee-deep muck and debris in the mountains of western North Carolina on Tuesday looking for more victims of Hurricane Helene days after the storm carved a deadly and destructive path through the Southeast.

Meanwhile, across the border in east Tennessee, a caravan including Gov. Bill Lee that was surveying damage outside the town of Erwin drove by a crew pulling two bodies from the wreckage, a grim reminder that the rescue and recovery operations are still very much ongoing and the death toll — already surpassing 160 — is likely to rise.

The storm, which was one of the deadliest in U.S. history, knocked out power and cellular service in some towns and cities, leaving many people frustrated, hot and increasingly worried days into the ordeal. Some cooked food on charcoal grills or hiked to high ground in the hopes of finding a signal to let loved ones know they are alive.

In Augusta, Georgia, Sherry Brown was converting power from the alternator of her car to keep her refrigerator running and taking “bird baths” with water she collected in coolers. In another part of the city, people waited in line more than three hours to try to get water from one of five centers set up to serve more than 200,000 people.

The devastation was especially bad in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where at least 57 people died in and around Asheville, North Carolina, a tourism haven known for its art galleries, breweries and outdoor activities.

“Communities were wiped off the map,” North Carolina’s governor, Roy Cooper, said at a news conference Tuesday.

- Abba, our hearts are heavy and confused, the amount of devastation caused by Helene is beyond comprehension, beyond our ability to understand.  Thousands upon thousands of peoples lives have been shattered, hearts broken. All we can do is declare that You are good and You are loving, even when we don't see.   Father God, the destruction is beyond our ability to fix it...we are in a "but God" moment, so we come to you and confess our limited abilities and ask You to step in with Your limitless ability to fix, to heal, to repair, to replace, to restore, to send out angels to have eyes when we cannot see, who know what needs to be done when we do not.  Our dependance on You is total, so come, speak, direct, guide, give us ears to hear what we naturally cannot hear, pour into us Your courage and strength, Your wisdom and understanding.  In Your mercy HELP US!  We ask this in the name Jehovah, the God who is present, accessible, near to those who call on Him for deliverance and guidance.

- "But all the descendants of Israel will
           find deliverance in the LORD
and will make their boast in him."
(Isaiah 45:25)

2. Israel said mulling attacks on Iran oil rigs, nuclear sites in response to missile attack - Times of Israel

Israel may respond to Iran’s major Tuesday ballistic missile attack by striking strategic infrastructure, such as gas or oil rigs, or by directly targeting Iran’s nuclear sites, media reports said on Wednesday, citing Israeli officials.

Targeted assassinations and attacks on Iran’s air defense systems are also possible responses, Axios reported.

An attack on Iranian oil facilities could devastate the country’s economy, and any of the considered responses could mark another escalation, almost one year into the ongoing war that began when the Hamas terror group attacked Israel in October 2023. (Read more)

4. Israel bars UN secretary-general from entering country - Reuters

JERUSALEM, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Israel's foreign minister said on Wednesday that he was barring U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres from entering the country because he had not "unequivocally" condemned Iran's missile attack on Israel.

Iran fired more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday amid an escalation in fighting between Israel and its proxy in Lebanon, Hezbollah. Many were intercepted in flight but some penetrated missile defences.

Guterres on Tuesday issued a brief statement after the missile attack condemning "the broadening of the Middle East conflict, with escalation after escalation." Earlier on Tuesday, Israel had sent troops into southern Lebanon. (Read more)

5. Danish Police Detain Three People After Blasts Near Israel Embassy - Algemeiner

Danish police said on Wednesday they were investigating two explosions likely caused by hand grenades near Israel‘s Copenhagen embassy and had detained three young Swedes for questioning.

Two of the men were apprehended on a train at Copenhagen’s main railway station while the third man was detained elsewhere in the Danish capital shortly after the blasts, Copenhagen Police Chief Superintendent Jens Jespersen told reporters.

Two hand grenades were likely to have caused the explosions which had caused some damage to a building around 100 meters from the embassy, he added.

“We can’t say for sure if the embassy has been or not been the target of these explosions … We are also investigating if they have acted alone, on request or together with others,” Jespersen said. (Read more

1. Vance, Walz spar over abortion and immigration in first and only VP debate - Fox News

Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, the Republican vice presidential nominee, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, faced off Tuesday night in their first and only debate, sparring over issues like foreign policy, border security, abortion and climate change and introducing themselves and their records to the American people with just five weeks to Election Day.

On the same topic, moderators asked Vance whether he and Trump would support family separation as part of Trump's proposed "mass deportation" should he be elected.
"We have 320,000 children that the Department of Homeland Security has effectively lost," Vance explained. "Some of them have been sex trafficking. Some of them, hopefully, are at homes with their families.

As for the issue of abortion, another top issue for voters this cycle, Walz maintained that he and Harris are pro-choice, while Vance said Republicans need to "do so much better of a job at earning the American people's trust back on this issue, where they, frankly, just don't trust us." (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, help Your church in America to be discerning and to vote according to Your principles. Let all Americans consider what the candidates stand for, asking ourselves whether they agree with God’s principles for good government. Thank You for the incredible blessing You have given us, and for which many have sacrificed, to be able to vote for our leaders. Let us not take it for granted.

2. Supplies arrive by plane and by mule in North Carolina as Helene’s death toll tops 130 - Associated Press

Widespread devastation left behind by Hurricane Helene came to light Monday across the South, revealing a wasteland of splintered houses, crushed cargo containers and mud-covered highways in one of the worst storms in U.S. history. The death toll topped 130.

A crisis was unfolding in western North Carolina, where residents stranded by washed-out roads and by a lack of power and cellular service lined up for fresh water and a chance to message loved ones days after the storm that they were alive. At least 133 deaths in six Southeastern states have been attributed to the storm that inflicted damagefrom Florida’s Gulf Coast to the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia.

The toll steadily rose as emergency workers reached areas isolated by collapsed roads, failing infrastructure and widespread flooding. During a briefing Monday, White House homeland security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall suggested as many as 600 people hadn’t been accounted for as of Monday afternoon, saying some might be dead. (Read more)

Lord God, no matter how uncertain the future may be or how devastated we are by the pain and grief this storm has caused across the nation, we rejoice in the One who is sovereign over everything. We continue to pray for all of those impacted by Hurricane Helene. We pray for the rescue crews and relief efforts that they’re able to do their job effectively. In Jesus name amen.

3. ICE Releases Damning Border Report Amid Kamala Harris Visit - Newsweek

top Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official has said that hundreds of thousands of migrants with criminal convictions were on the agency's non-detained docket. This refers to individuals who have been released from detention with final deportation orders, as well as those released who are waiting for an immigration court hearing.

In a letter to Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX), ICE deputy director Patrick Lechleitner said that 425,431 convicted criminals were in this category, as well as 222,141 with pending criminal charges. Speaking to Fox News about the ICE report, Gonzales referred to the numbers as "astronomical." House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Representative Mark Green (R-TN) said the contents of the letter were "shocking."

"It may be shocking to hear that the Biden-Harris administration is actively releasing tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens into our communities, but their own numbers conclusively prove this to be the case. This defies all common sense," read a statementNewsweek has contacted the Harris campaign for comment via email outside of standard working hours. (Read more)

- Lord God, as much as we are called to love people and welcome others, we also must follow sets of rules and regulations for everyone’s safety and protection. It is actually loving to implement rules of justice and righteousness that serve the whole population. So we pray Lord, that our leaders in our nation would truly rise up in love, honor their word and protect the citizens of the United States and implement laws that are safe for everyone in Jesus name amen.

4. Christians hold the key to elections, but will they show up? - The Blaze

America is in a spiritual crisis. A nation that was founded on Christian principles, a nation that invoked God in its origins, a nation that has turned to the same God for nearly a quarter-millennium has nearly overnight rebuked Him and has largely abandoned His truth.

Case in point, the newest polling from renowned pollster George Barna finds that only 59% of practicing Christians say they will vote in the November 5 election. If churchgoing Christians make up 80 million of America’s 333 million people, that means only 48 million practicing Christians are headed to the polls.

Voting is our civic duty, a practice that America’s founders enshrined in the Constitution to ensure that all Americans can share in the process of creating a more perfect union. How often are we at a church service or backyard barbecue when we hear Christians of good faith lament on the state of our union? Yet as Barna’s polling shows, only about six in 10 of these people will make the effort to facilitate change. Even worse, one out of every 10 of these Christians refuse to vote at all. (Read more)

- Lord God it is clear we need more Christians to vote. You have sacrificed so much to empower the body of Christ to be the authority and judges of the earth. Help us realize this incredible responsibility and honor that we have to implement heaven onto the earth. A way that we can do that is by getting out and voting for righteousness and we just take the time to pray that every Christian realizes this and shows up to the polls in Jesus name amen.

- “Didn’t I commission you as judges, saying, ‘You are all like gods, since you judge on my behalf. You are all like sons of the Most High, my representatives.’” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭82‬:‭6‬ ‭)

5. 120 accusers come forward against Diddy, including numerous minors and even a 9-year-old child - DML News

More than 100 accusers have reportedly come forward with allegations of “rape, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation” against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

At a press conference, attorney Tony Buzbee revealed that the youngest accuser was 9 years old, with another accuser aged 15. Buzbee also noted there are additional minors involved in the claims, though the lawsuits have not yet been filed. Combs’ legal team has denied the accusations in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, stated. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.” (Read more)

 - Lord God we pray over all those who have been victims of this trafficking ring that you would heal their hurts and trauma in Jesus name. We pray Lord that more would be exposed on those involved in this and that accountability would be had in Jesus name amen.

6. IRS data challenges Walz's claim that Trump tax cuts 'predominantly went to the top guys' - Fox Business

On the CBS Vice Presidential Debate stage Tuesday night, Democratic nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz claimed that the Trump-era tax cuts "predominantly went to the top guys" and benefited America's wealthy.

However, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) data shows that's not true. “Donald Trump made a promise, and I'll give you this, he kept it. He took books to Mar-a-Lago, said: you're rich as hell, I'm going to give you a tax cut… What happened? There was an $8 trillion increase in the national debt, the largest ever. Now he's proposing a 20% consumption or sales tax on everything we bring in. Everyone agrees, including businesses, it would be destabilizing. It would increase inflation and potentially lead to a recession," Walz said.

According to a September 2020 report from the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, middle income Americans are the ones who saw the "biggest decrease in total tax liability" between 2017 and 2018 when the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act went into effect. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray that the lies continue to be exposed, evil continues to be torn down, and that new leadership and new representation would fill these leadership positions to restore truth and dignity back to this country in Jesus name.

Stupidocrisy: The Two-State Solution

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 2, 2024

A Palestinian state living side by side in peace, widely promoted by President George W Bush and overwhelmingly supported by world leadership, is fatally flawed. This concept is the poster child for doing the same thing repeatedly expecting different results, insanity. How can one remotely expect that a state of people who believe the slogan “from the river to the sea” will lead to anything but destruction? Even when the “Palestinian” people were being displaced, used and abused by their elected government, Hamas, polls showed that a super-majority in upwards of 75% believed Hamas would eliminate the state of Israel and its citizens and establish a Palestinian state from the river to the sea.

Let us remember that when former Prime Minister Arial Sharon evacuated all the Jews from Gaza under tremendous pressure from Bush and the rest of the world, they left under gunfire and bombs. Let us not forget that ever since that day of “disengagement” in August 2005, missiles rained down on Israeli citizens’ schools, homes and neighborhoods. It is unforgettable that billions of dollars in humanitarian aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza from the US, the European Union and others were and are diverted to pay for tunnels under schools, hospitals, and UN facilities, and funded missiles and weapons to kill the hated Jews. Florida on long-range alert for upcoming
Gulf tropical threat
A new tropical threat will arise in the Gulf of Mexico and may threaten part of the southern United States in only about a week's time after Category 4 Hurricane Helene's deadly and destructive impacts.

The Gulf of Mexico remains the zone to watch for tropical development and impacts to the United States in the days ahead, and this time Florida may be the prime target for any budding system next week.

Last week, even as Helene was moving inland with deadly and destructive flooding, AccuWeather's long-range and hurricane experts pointed out that the next new threat to the U.S. would likely be from the Gulf of Mexico and the western Caribbean. That development zone is being narrowed down to the southern gulf, and the birth of a new storm could occur as early as this weekend or early next week.

AccuWeather meteorologists have labeled the Gulf threat as a high risk of development, just as they did for Helene.

"Water temperatures continue to remain warm in the wake of Helene over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico," AccuWeather Lead Hurricane Expert Alex DaSilva said. "Not only is the surface water warm, but it remains warm down deep so that wave action from any storm has little cooling effect." Read More

Thought for the Day
"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—  always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body." (2 Corinthians 4:8,9)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
