Ukraine Officially Asks Israel for Iron Dome, Iron Beam, Other Defense Tech
|
|
In an official request submitted to Israel this week, the Ukrainian government asked for top air defense systems developed by Israel, some of which are not yet operational, according to a letter obtained by the Axios website.
The outlet cited a copy of the Tuesday letter containing the requests, which stated that Ukraine “is highly interested in obtaining from Israel (in shortest possible terms) defense systems, in particular: Iron Beam, Barak-8, Patriot, Iron Dome, David’s Sling, Arrow Interceptor and Israeli support in training for Ukrainian operators.”
The laser-based Iron Beam, intended for use against short-range missile and mortar attacks as well as drones, is not yet operational. The Patriot missile defense system is made by the US and has not been included in the hardware of Washington’s own multi-billion dollar supplies to Ukraine. (Read more here)

Liz Truss quits: British prime minister resigns just six weeks after taking over as leader
|
|
U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced she will resign from her position following weeks of turbulence inside her office, just over a month after being elected in September.
Truss was expected to face challenges when she took office to replace Boris Johnson, who resigned in July following a string of scandals. Upon being elected, Truss faced a slew of obstacles, including soaring inflation and an energy crisis triggered by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected,” she said in a speech on Thursday.
Truss told reporters she had informed King Charles III she would resign as leader of the Conservative Party and would stay prime minister until a successor is chosen within the next week. Her resignation marks the shortest period of time anyone has ever held the position of prime minister in the United Kingdom.
Graham Brady, the chairman of the committee of Conservative lawmakers, will now oversee the process of electing a new leader, which the country hopes to do over the next week. On Wednesday afternoon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted unanimously by 15–0 for the CDC to recommend that children get the COVID-19 "vaccines and boosters."
The actual vote to add this experimental COVID-19 mRNA injection to the childhood vaccination schedule [was on] Thursday...
It is important to recognize that this is a work-around because Congress is not funding more jabs into arms. If this product is put on the childhood schedule, Congress does not have a say in the funding. Furthermore, if the emergency use authorization (EUA) vanishes, then the liability of the companies would continue under the childhood schedule. This is corruption.
I honestly didn't think the ACIP would "go there." For one, this is still an unlicensed product. I am still not sure an EUA vaccine product can be added to the schedule. I don't believe it has ever been done before.
It is now predicted that the CDC is almost certain to add the COVID-19 shots to its "Childhood Vaccines Schedule" ... 1. Attempted terror attack: Terrorists throw explosive device, open fire at IDF soldiers - Israel National News
An attempted terrorist attack took place overnight Wednesday near the Jalameh crossing, after several suspects who participated in disturbances in the area approached the crossing with an explosive device in their hands and threw it at IDF soldiers, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.
The soldiers who were at the scene carried out a procedure to arrest a suspicious person that included firing in the air in order to keep the suspects away.
In response, the terrorists threw the explosive device and one of them fired at the crossing. They then fled the scene.
There were no injuries among the security forces. (Read more)

2. Israeli Guard Takes Out Fugitive Killer During Second Attack - United with Israel
Palestinian terrorist Udai Tamimi murdered 18-year-old Israeli Police Sgt. Noa Lazar during an unprovoked ambush in Jerusalem on October 8.
Since that attack, Tamimi remained on the run, hiding from Israeli authorities. It also appears he was planning additional attacks, launching a second ambush on Wednesday night in Ma’aleh Adumim, a large suburb of Jerusalem.
Tamimi opened fire at one of the city’s entrances, shooting a 24-year-old security guard in the hand. “Other civilian guards on the scene returned fire, killing him instantly,” reported JNS.org.

3. Israel shuts northern West Bank crossing after repeated shooting attacks - Times of Israel
Israel on Thursday evening shuttered the Salem crossing in the northern West Bank following repeated shooting attacks in the area, the military’s liaison to the Palestinians announced.
The crossing is predominantly used by Arab Israelis who travel to the Palestinian city of Jenin and the surrounding area for business or leisure. It had been largely shuttered for civilian traffic in recent years, but was reopened in the summer as part of a series of gestures amid US President Joe Biden’s visit to the region.
Earlier Thursday, Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a military post near the crossing, without causing any injuries. (Read more)

The development of the fields has been held up for over two decades due to disputes with Israel and economic difficulties, including disputes surrounding an agreement granting Israel surplus gas.
Hamas warned the Palestinian Authority against handling the issue of natural gas fields located off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, just days after PA Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyehannounced that a team would be formed to conclude an agreement with Egypt concerning the gas.
The development of the fields has been held up for over two decades due to disputes with Israel and economic difficulties, including disputes surrounding an agreement granting Israel surplus gas from the field. The Gaza Strip is under an Israeli maritime blockade which restricts Gazans from going more than at most 12 nautical miles from the coast. (Read more)

5. Anti-Semitic vandals hit Canada’s Ontario region - World Israel News
Police in Ontario, Canada are investigating several instances of anti-Semitic vandalism that occurred during the recent Jewish holiday season.
On Oct. 12, hate messages were found scrawled on Beth Jacob Congregation of Kitchener-Waterloo, including one that said “ZOG is the real racial supremacists 1488 Hitler did nothing wrong!”
White supremacists use ZOG as shorthand for “Zionist occupied government,” while 1488 is a reference to a 14-word slogan on white supremacy and 88 is code for “Heil Hitler” as “H” is the eighth letter of the alphabet.
On its website, officials with Beth Jacob said the messages were found during Sukkot and are “particularly threatening and serious…Given the dramatic increase in violent anti-Semitic incidents in Canada and worldwide, this incident is being treated with the utmost seriousness.” (Read more)

Liz Truss, who became UK prime minister just six weeks ago, has resigned after a significant number of Conservative MPs lost confidence in her leadership.

Truss said she will stay on as prime minister until a successor is chosen via a leadership election to be held within the next week.

4. Conflict of interest: PR firm representing Moderna and Pfizer is also working with the CDC to push vaccine propaganda – Pandemic News
The public relations firm that represents COVID-19 vaccine makers Moderna and Pfizer has members of staff embedded in the vaccine communications division of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in what is clearly a major conflict of interest.
At the heart of the controversy is the New York-based firm Weber Shandwick, who has been helping Pfizer’s public relations efforts since 2003. This June, they also took on Moderna as a client after the small biotech firm rose to prominence as one of the forefront COVID-19 vaccine makers.
However, it has now emerged that the company also worked for the CDC during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping the agency’s health communications. At this point, it should come as no surprise that the firm was involved in public relations campaigns pushing Americans to get COVID-19 vaccines. (Read more)

5. Legal probe begins into “secretive” EU covid jab purchase scheme that looks like pure corruption and fraud – Pandemic News
The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) has launched a probe into the European Union’s (EU) “secretive” and illicit purchase of billions of Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines.”
Just two weeks after Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla skipped out on a scheduled EU hearing about his alleged collusion with European Commission President Ursula “missing texts” von der Leyen on the matter, the EPPO announced that a full investigation will now ensue to get to the bottom of what happened.
The independent EU body is responsible for investigating and prosecuting financial crimes, including fraud, money laundering and corruption – all things that we know Bourla, von der Leyen, and many others are likely guilty of doing.
Though the EPPO has yet to specify precisely who is being investigated or which government contracts are the subject of inquiry, it would make sense that Bourla and von der Leyen are at least two of the culprits. (Read more)

6. Federal Tax Receipts Near Record-High Share Of GDP - ZeroHedge
US tax receipts have surged this year.
Through August, the US Treasury had collected over $4.4 trillion in revenue for fiscal 2022 with one month left to go. That was already 10% higher than receipts in 2021. The US government took in $303.73 billion in August alone. That was up 23% from August 2021. According to a Tax Foundation analysis of Congressional Budget Office data, federal tax collections were up 21% in the 2022 fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30.
The US government isn’t just making a windfall in absolute terms. Tax collection is at a multi-decade high of 19.6% as a share of GDP. That is up from 17.9% in fiscal 2021 and is approaching the last peak of 20% set during the dot-com bubble in FY 2000.
Besides the dot-com bubble, federal tax receipts have only represented a higher share of GDP in two other years, both during World War II. In 1943, federal tax collections reached 20.5% of GDP before falling to 19.9% in 1944.
Compared to average federal tax collections in the post-war era of 17.2% of GDP, 2022 collections are set to exceed that level by 2.4 percentage points. Individual income tax collections surged the most, up 29% from $2.0 trillion last year to $2.6 trillion this year.
This raises a question: if the government is taking in near-record levels of taxes, how is it running massive deficits month after month?
The answer is simple: Uncle Sam has a spending problem. (Read more)

9. YAIR LAPID TELLS ARAB MEDIA HE WILL PROTECT MUSLIM PRAYER ON TEMPLE MOUNT, NOT ALLOW JEWISH PRAYER – ISRAEL365 NEWS
In an interview with the Arabic-language channel Hala television on Tuesday evening, interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid revealed his platform for the upcoming elections.
“We will take care of the freedom of worship of Muslims at al-Aqsa, who can go up to pray,” Lapid said. “We allow Jewish visitors to ascend the mount, but not to pray. They ascend and the visits are supervised to ensure that the status quo is not violated.”
The “status quo” Lapid referred to regarding Jerusalem is based on a firman (decree) of Ottoman sultan Osman III in 1757 that preserved the division of ownership and responsibilities of various Christian holy places. The details were further formalized in the 1949 United Nations Conciliation Commission after the 1947–1949 war. The firman and consequent status quo ensured Jewish right to visit their holy sites (albeit with limitations) but when Jordan illegally occupied Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem in 1948, Jews were barred from the holy sites in contravention of this status quo. Jews were not permitted back to their holy sites until the IDF conquered them in 1967.
Currently, there is no law prohibiting Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount. Jewish prayer is, in fact, protected by Israeli law ensuring freedom of religion. This law has been upheld several times in the Supreme Court, defending the right of Jews to pray on the Temple Mount, most notably in a 2014 Magistrate’s Court case brought by Rabbi Yehudah Glick. This ruling is based on legally protected freedom of religion.

Boston University scientists deny that they conducted gain of function research resulting in a vaccine-resistant strain of COVID, called Omicron S, that is five times more infectious than Omicron and killed 80-100% of the mice used for experiments. Gain of Function is defined by The National Library of Medicine as “experimentation that aims or is expected to (and/or, perhaps, actually does) increase the transmissibility and/or virulence of pathogens.” The Boston University research report says, “we employed a modified form…that yielded concentrated virus stocks”—a modified form which was more deadly and spread faster than Omicron by their own admission.
The Boston University statement says, “First, this research is not gain-of-function research, meaning it did not amplify the Washington state SARS-CoV-2 virus strain or make it more dangerous. In fact, this research made the virus replicate less dangerous.” Later in the statement the University repeated, “there was no gain of function with this research. If at any point there was evidence that the research was gaining function, under both NIAID and our own protocols we would immediately stop and report.” Ronald B Corley, director of the University’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL), said, “They’ve sensationalized the message, they misrepresent the study and its goals in its entirety.” Boston University claims the purpose of the study is misrepresented—that researchers did not intend to conduct gain of function. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in collaboration with Jeff Hays Films has released a film version of Kennedy's best selling book, "The Real Anthony Fauci" that details the extent of Fauci's influence on global public health, especially during the time of the COVID pandemic.
Currently, the movie is available to view for free at the film’s website for a limited time.
The film is jam-packed with information about the life of Anthony Fauci and his role in the transformation of public health into a veritable pseudo-governmental infrastructure that has decided public policy for decades.
The film begins with a summary of Event 201, which was a pandemic-response exercise that took place just weeks before the advent of COVID-19 in the public discussion.
That event, the film recalls, was sponsored by the World Economic Forum, the Gates Foundation, and the CIA had a hand in its operations. The notion of fighting “misinformation” was a central theme at the pandemic exercise, as was the idea of asymptomatic spread, a rushed vaccine, and other things.

Historically low water levels in the Mississippi
reveal shipwreck from 1915

A prolonged drought has exposed new shoreline views of the major river, including remains of an old ferry that once traversed the waters.
Patrick Ford was walking along the banks of the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earlier this month when he spotted what appeared to be the remains of an old shipwreck resting along the banks.
An investigation into the vessel has led archeologists to believe the ship may be the Brookhill Ferry, a ship that sank during a fierce storm in 1915, according to The Associated Press. It was used to ferry people and horse-drawn wagons across the river in the days before bridges were built, the AP reported.
Archeologists told the AP that they are working quickly to document the discovery while the water levels are still low -- the result of a prolonged drought in the Midwest that has created record-low levels. Read More

And despite these daunting global and personal challenges, she believes God will watch over His children and provide “Goshens” the same kind of refuge the God of Israel provided the Israelites when He judged the nation of Egypt. Jacobs also reports that despite the gloomy news around the world, there are areas where spiritual revival is exploding, places like Europe and Iran where there are huge moves of the Holy Spirit.
