Blue-and-white colors the globe as nations,
cities stand with Israel
|
|
Solidarity with Jerusalem is strong days after a horrific attack that leaves 900-plus dead, thousands wounded and more than 100 held hostage.
|
|
Some projected the Israeli flag onto buildings, others created elegant blue-and-white visual displays as around the world, nations made it clear that they stood by Israel’s right to protect itself in the wake of a Shabbat and holiday morning multi-pronged attack that has left 900-plus dead, thousands wounded and more than 100 held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
On Monday evening, the White House was illuminated in the blue-and-white colors of the Israeli flag as representative of America’s 75-year relationship. It also symbolizes the ironclad support and solidarity of the American people with the people of Israel in the wake of the barbaric terrorist attacks committed by Hamas.
In New York City, blue and white illuminated the Empire State Building, Moynihan Train Hall (the recently named Penn Station) and other sites. The state’s Gov. Kathy Hochul said “New York stands with Israel—today and every day.” New Jersey also showed support with blue-and-white lights at the governor’s mansion.
In Las Vegas, the mayor raised the Israeli flag over city hall and said: “The people of Las Vegas stand with you.” In Cincinnati, the town’s sign featuring its name switched to blue-and-white lights.
Florida saw multiple demonstrations. In Miami-Dade County, blue and white illuminated four different locations, and in downtown Miami, an Israeli flag with the word “Solidarity” switching from both English to Hebrew was projected onto the 700-foot-tall Paramount Miami Worldcenter skyscraper. Biden Administration Reverses Call for
Israel Ceasefire
|
|
President Joe Biden's administration is reversing a call for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, appointed by President Biden, said on X on Sunday that the administration was encouraging talks of a ceasefire. "Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and I spoke further on Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel. I encouraged Turkey’s advocacy for a cease-fire and the release of all hostages by Hamas immediately," Mr. Blinken wrote.
The U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs also indicated support for a ceasefire after Hamas terrorists entered Israel on Saturday and murdered Israelis. "We unequivocally condemn the attack of Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing," the office said.
Both posts were later deleted.
Some Republicans criticized Mr. Blinken's deleted statement. "The US Secretary of State advocating for Israel to cease fire?!" Rep. Nick LaLota (R-N.Y.), a Navy veteran, said in a statement. He added later, "it’s massive counter attack time or innocent Israelis will continue to be terrorized and Americans could be next." (Epoch Times) Read more.

US Military Assistance Is 'On the Way' to Israel:
White House
|
|
U.S. military assistance is "on the way" to Israel, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said on Oct. 9.
"The first tranche [of security assistance], in the wake of these terrorist attacks, is already on the way," Mr. Kirby told reporters in a call. "I don't believe it's actually made it to Israel yet, but it's making its way there."
He did not specify what kind of equipment was being sent.
The administration, he said, expects that "there'll be additional requests for security systems from Israel as they continue to expend munitions in this fight, and we will stay in lockstep with them, fulfilling their needs as best as we can and as fast as we can."
Mr. Kirby said he "knows of no efforts to go to Congress" to request additional assistance to the Jewish state.
The United States gives $3.8 billion annually in assistance to Israel with all but $500 million of it being for military aid. (The Epoch Times) Go here.

And you have an answer and a way out of every situation. Amen.

Trump Says Attack on Israel a Sign World War III
Is Coming
|
|
WOLFEBORO, N.H.—Former President Donald Trump warned that the shocking and brutal attack by Hamas terrorists on Israeli civilians over the weekend has the makings of World War III.
In speaking to a massive crowd today in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, President Trump drew ties between the Biden administration's flooding of young male, military-aged unvetted immigrants into the country and the Pearl Harbor style-attack by Hamas.
He referred to the immigrants as "some of the same people who just attacked Israel" and said that under Biden's open border policy, the United States has allowed "tens and thousands of terrorists into our country."
"We are in grave danger of having World War III," President Trump said during his campaign stop. "This will be world obliteration. This is a real deal."
President Trump said that he "would stop World War III" if reelected. In reference to the ongoing attack by the Kremlin on Ukraine and the scenes of war in Israel and Gaza, he said neither bloodshed would ever have occurred under his command. Read more

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US President Joe Biden on Tuesday in his third such conversation since Saturday for his strong support of the Jewish State, and that of his administration.
The president reiterated during the call that the United States stands by Israel and fully supports its right to defend itself. The prime minister thanked the president for his unequivocal support and made it clear that a powerful and prolonged campaign – which Israel will win – will be necessary, Netanyahu’s office said.
“Mr. President, Joe, I want to thank you for you continued and unequivocal support and the work of your entire administration to support us. The Israeli people were deeply moved by the emotion that Admiral Kirby showed in his interview yesterday. It was deeply moving, and it represented the depth of commitment that you have, your administration have and the American people have for Israel,” Netanyahu said. (Read more)

2. Still Gathering Its Dead, Israel Targets Hamas in Gaza After Terrorist Invasion - Algemeiner
Israel pounded the Gaza Strip on Tuesday with fierce air strikes despite a threat from Hamas terrorists to execute a captive for each home hit.
Across the barrier wall surrounding the strip, Israeli soldiers were collecting the last of the dead four days after Hamas gunmen rampaged through towns in by far the deadliest attack in Israel‘s history.
Israel has vowed to take “mighty revenge,” calling up hundreds of thousands of reservists and placing Gaza, the crowded home to 2.3 million people, under siege.
Israel‘s embassy in Washington said the death toll from Hamas’ weekend attacks had surpassed 1,000, dwarfing all modern Islamist attacks on the West except for 9/11. (Read more)

4. HORRIFYING DISCOVERY: 40 babies and children butchered in Kfar Aza – many of them decapitated - World Israel News
Israeli security personnel and search and rescue teams operating in newly-liberated towns near the Gaza frontier made a horrifying discovery Tuesday in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, following a days-long battle to cleanse the community of terrorists.
Journalists were brought into the center of town during the removal of the remains of both the Israeli victims and the Gaza terrorists who slaughtered them, before being shot and killed during the liberation of the area.
According soldiers who took part in the battle and were amongst the first to inspect the grisly scenes in the homes taken over by terrorists on October 7th, roughly 40 babies and young children were brutally torn apart – most of them with their heads cut off.
The children’s families were found shot to death, often in their beds.(Read more)

Mortar shells were fired at Israel from the Syrian side of the Golan Heights on Tuesday evening, mere hours after the Hezbollah terror group fired anti-tank missiles at the Jewish state from Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said.
“Part of the launches crossed into Israeli territory and presumably fell in open areas,” confirmed IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.
The military said its forces responded with artillery and mortar fire towards the source of the Syrian shelling.
Residents of the southern part of the Golan Heights were instructed to stay close to bomb shelters. Israelis in the Golan have approximately 15 seconds to seek shelter from the moment the air-raid siren sounds. (Read more)

1. McCarthy Suddenly Considers Attempt to Return to Speaker Position - The Western Journal Former
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy signaled Monday an openness to return to his post after stating firmly last week he would not run again.
Asked about whether he would be a candidate for speaker at a news conference on Capitol Hill, McCarthy said, “I’m going to allow the conference to do their work, but the one thing I would ask my conference, you have 96 percent of the conference in one place, and you’re allowing 4 percent with the Democrats playing politics that now are putting a doubt inside this body. That is wrong.”
Further, if House GOP members allow “a few individuals that love a camera more than they love the American public, we are not going to govern,” he said. (Read more)

2. Gov. Abbott Answers Biden's Refusal to Enforce Immigration Laws, Will Authorize All Texas Law Enforcement to Directly Intervene - The Western Journal
A duty of the federal government, according to Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, is to “repel invasions.” Likewise, Article I, Section 10 says no state without Congress’ consent shall engage in war “unless actually invaded, or in such imminent danger as will not admit of delay.”
“For the first time ever, Texas will subject people to arrest for illegal entry into our state from a foreign nation,” Gov. Greg Abbott declared Thursday in calling a special session of the state Legislature to begin Monday. And if invaders do the crime, they’ll do the time, according to Abbott.
“All licensed law enforcement officers in Texas will be authorized to arrest or remove any person who illegally enters the State, with penalties up to 20 years in prison for refusing to comply with removal,” the Republican governor said in a statement.
“To crack down on repeated attempts to enter Texas illegally, re-entry will be penalized with up to 20 years in prison,” he said. (Read more)

Abbott and may the federal government have no way to interfere or disrupt this action, in Jesus name.

3. Series of Recent National Polls Released - It's Big for Trump, But Biden Won't Like It - The Western Journal
Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in a series of recent battleground state polls and national surveys, indicating his continued political resilience despite a summer of criminal indictments as voters remain lukewarm on the current administration. Trump ahead of Biden in key swing states by anywhere from 1 point to 9 points, and the former president is leading from 1 point to 10 points nationally, according to numerous recent surveys.
Polling analysts argued to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the surveys appear to be trending in Trump’s favor, with some cautioning that it is still too early in the election season to be predictive. (Read more)

4. Hamas terrorists 'murdered 40 babies' including beheadings, says report - The JC
Bodies of young Israeli babies, including some with their heads cut off, have been found by IDF soldiers in a southern Israeli kibbutz, according to reports. Soldiers discovered the bodies among burned out houses, strewn furniture and torched cars after Hamas terrorists attacked Kfar Aza kibbutz near the Gaza border.
In a video on X/Twitter, an i24 journalist said: “Talking to some of the soldiers here, they say what they witnessed as they’ve been walking through these communities is bodies of babies with their heads cut off and families gunned down in their beds.
“We can see some of these soldiers right now, comforting each other.” Kfar Aza was one of the hardest hit areas when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on Saturday morning.
In a statement on Tuesday, Israeli Major General Itai Veruv said: “You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms and how the terrorist kills them. It's not a war, it's not a battlefield. It's a massacre, it's a terror activity. (Read more)

5. Biden Admin Gave $100K to Gaza University That Praised the ‘Righteous Martyrs’ Who Attacked Israel - Free Beacon
The Biden administration last month awarded $100,000 in taxpayer funds to a Gaza university that over the weekend praised the Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel as "righteous martyrs."
The State Department on Sept. 29 awarded the grant to Al-Quds Open University to promote "community service" and "action planning" among youth in the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem, according to records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. Al-Quds on Saturday announced a temporary closure to mark a "day of commitment to the comprehensive strike" against Israel.
"Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs," the school said on social media in the wake of a Hamas attack that has killed more than 900 Israelis and at least nine Americans over the weekend. The administration’s ties to Al-Quds Open University and other organizations in the region are certain to face Republican scrutiny in the wake of the Hamas onslaught, the worst domestic attack in Israel’s history. Republican lawmakers have criticized the Biden administration for lifting a hold on $6 billion in funds for Iran, a major funder of Hamas. (Read more)

- Holy God, we repent for the foolish and destructive actions that have been done by this unrighteous administration on behalf of our great nation and we forgive them. We pray that they would cease and desist the continued funding of the terror ideology promoted in Palestinian schools, in Jesus name. We bind the money, we bind the support and we bind the applause, in Jesus name and we release Godly righteousness, justice and redemption upon this administration and upon all terrorists, in Jesus holy name. Amen.

6. Former Presidents Obama and Clinton release statements on Hamas attack against Israel - DML News
Two and a half days after the Iran-funded terror group Hamas unleashed their deadly attacks on Israel, which has turned into a full-fledged war, former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton finally decided to release public statements. Obama, who once sent a plane loaded with $400 million in cash to Iran for the release of four American prisoners, posted his statement first, at 5:00pm ET Monda. He wrote:
“All Americans should be horrified and outraged by the brazen terrorist attacks on Israel and the slaughter of innocent civilians. We grieve for those who died, pray for the safe return of those who’ve been held hostage, and stand squarely alongside our ally, Israel, as it dismantles Hamas.
Exactly one hour later, Bill Clinton posted his statement:
“I condemn the horrific terrorist assault carried out by Hamas in Israel, and mourn the senseless loss of life. My heart is with all those affected by the violence, including American families. Now is a time for the world to rally against terrorism and to support Israeli democracy.”
Some social media users thanked them for their statements, while many others blasted them for being two days late. (Read more)

- Holy One, we pray that the statements by these two former leaders will awaken their followers to the realities of such unprovoked and heinous crimes committed against Israel. We pray Father, that there will be no turning away from Israel nor normalization of the cruel terrorism, in Jesus name.

President Biden sat this week for an interview with the special counsel overseeing an investigation into his handling of classified documents from his time as vice president, the White House confirmed Monday. Biden met Sunday and Monday with special counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed earlier this year to handle the probe into classified documents found at Biden’s home and an old office.
“The President has been interviewed as part of the investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Hur,” spokesperson Ian Sams said in a statement. “The voluntary interview was conducted at the White House over two days, Sunday and Monday, and concluded Monday. (Read more)

8. Harvard students called ‘morally repugnant’ for blaming Israel for attacks - Boston Herald
Harvard students who authored a letter blaming Israel for the Hamas terror attacks is being ridiculed as “intellectually weak and morally repugnant.” U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Salem, and former Harvard president Larry Summers are lining up to call out the Cambridge university students — and the “leadership” remaining silent.
“Terrorism is never justified nor someone else’s fault. As hundreds of Israelis and others, including several Americans, remain kidnapped, injured, or dead, the 31 Harvard organizations that signed a letter holding Israel ‘entirely responsible’ for Hamas’ barbarous terrorism should be condemned, as should Harvard leadership for whom silence is complicity,” said Moulton, who added “I cannot recall a moment when I’ve been more embarrassed by my alma mater.”
Summers tweeted: “In nearly 50 years of @Harvard affiliation, I have never been as disillusioned and alienated as I am today.”
Summers is the former Treasury Secretary under President Bill Clinton, advised former President Barack Obama, and was Harvard’s president from 2001 to 2006. (Read more)

- Oh Holy King, we forgive these ill-advised Harvard students and the leadership of the university for such a reprehensible posture. We pray that they would have a powerful encounter with Almighty God and we bind the spirit that would cause them to believe that slaughter is ever justified. We pray for a moral conscience to return to the university classrooms and the citizens of this nation, in Jesus name. We call for the clear teaching of right and wrong in our education system and to be exercised in the marketplace, in Jesus holy name.
- "So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Lord." (Psalm 83:15-16)

Was Biden Complicit In Terrorist Attack On Israel?
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 10, 2023
The world is aghast at the vicious attack on Israel by Hamas, Islamic Jihad from the South and West, and Hezbollah from the North. Thousands of rockets rained down on civilians from these terrorist groups in a coordinated attack. The White House has put out a statement denouncing the terrorist action, but could the Biden Administration’s financial support of Iran and the “Palestinian” people have not only enabled, but funded this horrible act against Israel? Follow the money and the intent. Since Biden took office, he has acted decisively to send millions to the “Palestinians” and billions to Iran, which funds all terrorist groups seeklng the demise of Israel. The saying, “when the tide rises all the ships rise as well” is in play.
On July 14, 2022, the White House announced its intention to support the “Palestinian” people with new contributions totaling $316 million. The announcement said, “This is on top of the more than half a billion dollars the United States has provided to the Palestinian people since the Biden Administration restored much needed funding to the Palestinians.” This after the a round of funding given in March 2021 as reported by the Times of Israel: “The administration announced last Thursday that it was giving $15 million to vulnerable Palestinian communities in the West Bank and Gaza to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. A day later, with no public announcement, it notified Congress that it will give the Palestinians $75 million for economic support, to be used in part to regain their “trust and goodwill” after the Trump-era cuts.” Read More

Israel Didn't See a Hamas Strike Coming. The U.S. Could Be Next, McCarthy Warns
|
|
|
McCarthy: ‘We could have the same thing happen next week to us’
|
|
The mass terror strikes in Israel this weekend should serve as a "wake up" call for Americans, according to former House speaker Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.), who told the Washington Free Beacon in a wide-ranging interview that the chaos at the U.S. southern border could set the stage for a similar type of terror attack.
"We should wake up ourselves. We could have the same thing happen next week to us," McCarthy said. "We caught more people on the terrorist watchlist in February than we caught in the entire administration. We could have cells sitting inside of America right now."
"We should take a step back and look at ourselves," McCarthy said. "Your intel is never perfect and we’ve got a wide-open border. They’re coming from 160 different countries," including those known to harbor militant operatives loyal to Iran and other terror groups, like the Taliban.
"How did we not know that is happening" in the Gaza Strip? McCarthy asked. "Everybody should look at their own intelligence right now."
The former House leader, who was ousted from his role last week by a small group of GOP insurgents and their Democratic allies, said during a press conference on Monday that he would consider resuming his role amid concerns the stalemate in the Republican-controlled House could undermine U.S. support for Israel going forward.
McCarthy told the Free Beacon that the uncertainty created by his ouster is contributing to fears Congress will not be ready to ensure Israel is armed with the resources it needs to combat Hamas. "It’s unfortunate a few members did the actions they did, and now we don’t even have a speaker sitting there," he said. "It shows the weakness."
McCarthy also said the Biden administration is "1,000 percent" responsible for creating conditions that enabled Iran to fund Hamas and help plan its attack on Israel. There’s "no doubt they contributed," he said. "From day one when the Biden administration came in, they changed the policies with Iran to appeasement." This includes a $6 billion ransom payment last month that gave Iran access to cash reserves that analysts and Republican lawmakers say helped pay for Hamas’s war. - O, Father God! We thank You for this warning, now being released by former Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Let us each take heed, prepare our homes as we must do, and especially prepare our hearts for what may soon befall us, in Your Name, amen.

Netanyahu: Israel to ‘carry out massive attack on Hamas of unprecedented intensity’
|
|
|
Israel will win the war and "We will keep the promise that the people of Israel live," the Israeli prime minister said.
|
|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Israel’s war with Hamas as “a war for the home, a war to secure our existence” in an address to the nation on Monday.
He condemned the atrocities committed by hundreds of members of the terror group Hamas who broke through the Gaza border fence in a surprise assault on Saturday morning and killed more than 900 Israelis, mostly civilians, in a wholesale slaughter. That number has increased for the past three days.
“This war was forced upon us by a despicable enemy, human animals celebrating the murder of women, children and the elderly,” the prime minister said, speaking in Hebrew. “We have not seen the atrocities that Hamas committed since the horrors of ISIS.”
“Handcuffed children who were executed along with the rest of their families, young men and women shot in the back. They were executed,” he said.
Netanyahu promised Hamas would suffer the same fate as ISIS. “The enemy wanted war, he will get war.”
Netanyahu laid out five immediate goals:
- to purge the enemy from Israeli towns and communities and repel the entry of additional enemy combatants, a battle he said was still being waged;
- to carry out a massive attack on Hamas of “unprecedented intensity”;
- to fortify the other fronts, including on the northern border against Hezbollah, in Judea and Samaria, and within Israel;
- to continue to strengthen international support “in order to preserve our field of action against our enemies”;
- and to establish unity among the people.
Speaking of the last, which referred to the months-long social upheaval around the government’s efforts at judicial reform, the prime minister stated that “the split between us is over. We are all united, and when we are united, we are victorious.” (JNS.org) Read more here.

Lord, Come by Here - Kum ba Yah

"Kum ba yah" is a short phrase and song that has come under some ridicule over the last 20+ years from various directions. The phrase means "come by here" and was an African-American spiritual from South Carolina around 1926. But let's think about it based on our own lives, and the current wars rampaging in the world. Don't you think we need the Lord to "Come by here?"
Someone's crying, Lord, come by here.
The world is filled with brokenhearted people - including many of us on PraiseNet. People who have lost loved ones, homes, friendships, or have experienced illness or extreme sadness from circumstances. Every one of these people need the Lord to "come by here."
Remember the woman with the issue of blood in the Bible? She looked for Him and acted when the Lord passed by her. She pushed her way through the crowd so she could touch the hem of His garment. She instinctively knew that if the Lord passed by her life would be changed for the better. She received the answer according to her faith.
Someone's praying Lord, come by here.
When we pray, we should pray from the depths of our hearts. Surface prayers are okay sometimes, but when the situation is serious, we must dig deeper as we talk to the Lord. He isn't deaf, so He always hears, but sometimes drawing deeper into Him is more important.
Yesterday, my heart was crushed not just about our dear friends in Israel (of whom I have several), but aspects of my own life in view of the way the world is going. I prayed differently, deeply, and could almost see the Lord stopping as He passed by. I know that I know that He heard those heartfelt prayers of repentance- not coming from an important Christian leader, but from the heart of someone who knows without a doubt that if God is Present, if He will 'come by here' things will change for the better.
Someone's singing, Lord, come by here.
Praise, worship, and adoration are critical components to prayer and belief. Where is your heart as you pray? Do you truly believe that if the Lord comes by here something good will happen?
I'm encouraging each of you to sing the song "Kum ba Yah" in your heart to seek the Presence of our Lord and ask Him to 'come by here.'
The world is in dire need of Him, as are we all. Come, Lord Jesus!

Tectonic Plate That Was Once One-Quarter The Size Of The Pacific Ocean Discovered By Geologists
|
|
Utrecht University PhD candidate Suzanna van de Lagemaat has reconstructed a massive and previously unknown tectonic plate that was once one-quarter the size of the Pacific Ocean. She reconstructed the lost plate through computer simulations and field research in the mountain belts of Japan, New Zealand, New Guinea, Borneo and the Philippines.
Earth's rigid outer shell is divided into a dozen large tectonic plates and microplates, but their number varied over geological time. Tectonic plates consisting mostly of heavy oceanic crust have disappeared into the Earth's mantle by means of subduction. Only fragments thrusted into mountain belts survived this process.
"The Philippines is located at a complex junction of different plate systems. The region almost entirely consists of oceanic crust, but some pieces are raised above sea level, and show rocks of very different ages," explained de Lagemaat.
Van de Lagemaat first reconstructed the movements of the current plates in the region between Japan and New Zealand over the past 150 million years. The reconstruction showed a gap opening between the Australian Plate in the south, the Eurasian Plate in the north, the Indian Plate in the west and the Pacific Plate in the east. So she started to look for tangible evidence of a missing plate fitting this gap. Read More

The Homeschooling Miracle in the Pacific Northwest:
'Nothing Is Impossible for God'
|
|
The scenery in Vancouver, Washington across the Columbia River from Portland is simply beautiful, a very appropriate setting for what's taking place here. "The whole story is a miracle story, really," Heidi St. John tells CBN News. Heidi and her husband Jay started The Homeschool Resource Center in this area twenty years ago. What began as a small, humble homeschool ministry has now outgrown two locations thanks to a booming demand. "God just kept putting on our hearts, 'step forward in faith and I will bring the people and the resources,'" Jay St. John says. "He's done that." There is no doubt that God has delivered. When COVID hit, so did a rush of parents and their kids to the homeschool center causing it to almost quadruple in size. The new building that was needed to meet the demand carried a hefty price tag that only God could meet. "We didn't have $16 million," Heidi St. John says. "So we took it to the Lord. And at one point, actually several points along the way, we brought families over here to pray for the building....people walking the perimeter of this building, putting their hands on the bricks, and just saying, Father, you see what's happening to your children, we need your help, we need your help."
God showed up in a mighty way with enough money to cover all the costs so they could move forward debt-free. "Nothing is impossible for God," Heidi St. John exclaims. So far, the miracle has led to hundreds of students; nearly 200 parent-teachers, some of whom lost their jobs during Covid; a huge auditorium, coffee shop, and bookstore; and of course a couple hundred classrooms with everything from the basics to woodworking and dance. Instead of a regular school, it's more like a newer, bigger model of a homeschool co-op. It is about matching kids' interests with parents' teaching expertise so students can have more 'light bulb moments.' Ultimately, it's about community. "When you're around people that are amongst the same mindset as you it just emboldens you and it makes you validate that I'm not alone," says Haley Choate, Staff Director at the Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center. "Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: Whosoever will, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Revelation 22:17
Lyrics:
I am happy today,
And the sun shines bright,
The clouds have been rolled away;
For the Savior said,
Whosoever will
May come with Him to stay.
Refrain
Whosoever surely meaneth me,
Surely meaneth me,
O surely meaneth me;
Whosoever surely meaneth me,
Whosoever meaneth me.
All my hopes have been raised,
O His name be praised,
His glory has filled my soul;
I’ve been lifted up,
And from sin set free,
His blood has made me whole.
Refrain
O what wonderful love,
O what grace divine,
That Jesus should die for me;
I was lost in sin,
For the world I pined,
But now I am set free.
Refrain
