Revival Sweeping Through College Campuses Impacting Tens of Thousands: 'It's a Movement'
UNIVERSITY of ARKANSAS – Crowds at Bud Walton Arena are usually there to cheer on Razorback basketball. However, this night was much different. With loud voices and raised hands, nearly ten thousand college students joined together. Abby Matthews, a college student, shared, "When we gather altogether – just that many people on a college campus – it's just really encouraging that our God is greater than anything we're going to face in this world."

As CBN News has reported, this UniteUS event was one of a series bringing the Gospel message to college campuses across the country. Tonya Prewitt, founder of UniteUS, explained, "We started at Auburn University. We had 5,000 students show up, and over 200 got baptized. We next went to FSU – Florida State, the second biggest party school in the nation. We had 4,500 students come, and I believe about 350 students got baptized at that event." The movement then swept through the universities of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina, with numbers growing along the way. Tonya calls the mission a simple one: Bring hope to a generation. (CBN)  Read More and Watch Video Here

- Lord we REJOICE for revival spreading across college campuses in our nation. We praise You for answered prayer in surrendered lives and many Gen Z's returning to Christ. Bless the 'UniteUS' ministry as they continue hosting powerful events. Awaken the nation for Jesus and permeate Universities with Your presence. Bring healing and restoration to a desperate generation and lead America back into Your perfect realignment, holy righteousness and HOPE through Christ! In the powerful Name of Yeshua-Amen.

- "Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."  (Acts 3:19-20)

Here are the rules for the Vance-Walz CBS debate

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) and Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) are set to go head-to-head in their first, and likely only, vice presidential debate Tuesday hosted by CBS News.

The two running mates have never locked horns before in a debate format, but they have continuously traded jabs on the campaign trail. Vance has specifically scrutinized Walz’s military record while the Minnesota governor has consistently painted the senator and former President Trump as “weird.”

Both campaigns have agreed to CBS’s rules for the debate, which were announced Friday.

Walz will be on the right side of the stage from a viewer’s standpoint, with Vance on the left. The Democratic vice presidential nominee, being the incumbent party’s candidate, will be introduced first by the moderators, according to the outlet. Both candidates will remain at the podium for the entire length of the 90-minute showdown.

There will be no opening statements or live studio audience, similar to the debate earlier this month between Trump and Vice President Harris. The candidates will get two breaks, each lasting four minutes, according to CBS. (The Hill) Read more here.

- Father, we pray for the moderators to be fair and impartial and that they would create an upright debate environment.    We pray for J.D. to be strong, wise as a serpent and very able to take command of the dialogs at every turn.  We ask for Your anointing on him and that you clearly allow Walz to show his inabilities and especially to reveal his very strong communist affinity which would cause many people to become aware of this threat, in Jesus name.

- "'Therefore do not fear them. for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.  Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.'"  (Matthew 10:26-27)

Inside Israel's operation: Step-by-step breakdown of how Nasrallah was eliminated

In a secret and sophisticated operation, the Israel Defense Forces and Military Intelligence Directorate succeeded in assassinating Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in the heart of the Dahiya neighborhood in Beirut. Here's how it happened.

Using advanced intelligence and a brilliant deception maneuver that included the Prime Minister's flight to the US, security forces struck the organization's leadership in what is defined as one of the most significant military operations.

Former Intelligence Division Head Aaron Haliva had already considered the option of a targeted assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on October 11, based on the intelligence agency’s advanced capabilities.

This capability, built over many years by Military Intelligence, was non-existent during the Second Lebanon War when there was no idea where he was hiding, and the dossier on him was minimal, if not operationally useless.

According to security sources, the political, intelligence, and operational conditions for Nasrallah's assassination matured by Wednesday. Military Intelligence once again recommended action, and the political echelon approved it after being exposed to the intimate and sensitive intelligence collected to close the loop. (Jerusalem Post) Read more here.
- Thank You Most High King, that You opened up revelation of accurate intelligence for Israel to be successful in their endeavor to take the head off the Hezbollah serpent and others, in Jesus name.  We give praise that they knew the location of their targets and for the accuracy of the IDF weaponry. We pray that the precision strikes against Hezbollah will be sufficient to neutralize their reign of terror against northern Israel and allow the Lebanese citizens to gain control of their nation, in Jesus name.

- "'As for the head of those who surround me, Let the evil of their lips cover them; Let burning coals fall upon them; Let them be cast into the fire, Into deep pits, that they rise not up again. . . . I know that the Lord will maintain The cause of the afflicted, And justice for the poor.  Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.'"  (Psalm 140:9-10, 12-13)

Rescue missions underway in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene brings ‘historic’ flooding, landslides
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper says 11 fatalities, death toll expected to rise

Rescue efforts are underway across western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene brought unprecedented flooding and landslides to the region over the weekend.

Deanne Criswell, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administrator, described the catastrophic flooding as "historic" during an appearance on CBS’ "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

"I don't know that anybody could be fully prepared for the amount of flooding and landslides that they are experiencing right now," Criswell said. "But we have had teams in there for several days where we're sending more search and rescue teams in there."

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper said during a press conference on Sunday that the death toll of 11 was expected to rise as search teams reached areas left isolated from the storm. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Heavenly Father, words cannot express the grief we are feeling today, as more facts are now emerging about the disaster that has hit a large portion of our nation. In particular, we now lift up to you the city  f Charleston, North Carolina -- which only last week was famous for its beauty, but that now lies in ruins.

Lord God, we bring all of the rescue workers throughout the Southeast of our nation before Your Throne of Grace. Please help them, dear Lord, to find and rescue any who have surived this devastation. And Lord God, thank You for helping us walk by
faith, not by sight, as we draw closer to you for comfort in these days. Amen.

1. IDF confirms: Limited ground operation in Lebanon begins - Israel National News

In accordance with the decision of the political echelon, a few hours ago, the IDF began limited, localized, and targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence against Hezbollah terrorist targets and infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

These targets are located in villages close to the border and pose an immediate threat to Israeli communities in northern Israel, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.

"The IDF is operating according to a methodical plan set out by the General Staff and the Northern Command which IDF soldiers have trained and prepared for in recent months," the statement said.

"The Israeli Air Force and IDF Artillery are supporting the ground forces with precise strikes on military targets in the area." (Read more)

2. Houthi terrorists launch ballistic missile at Israeli airport during Netanyahu’s return - World Israel News

Iranian-backed Houthi rebels operating out of Yemen launched a ballistic missile towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plane as he returned to Israel from New York, a spokesman for the terrorist group claimed Saturday.

A surface-to-surface ballistic missile launch from Yemen towards Israel was detected Saturday, the Israeli military announced.

The missile was intercepted and destroyed before it reached Israeli airspace, an IDF spokesperson said, though a piece of the projectile landed on a road outside of Jerusalem, near the town of Tzur Hadassah, causing minor damage.

The attack came just 35 minutes after the prime minister’s state aircraft, a Boeing 767 dubbed the “Wing of Zion”, touched down at Ben Gurion International Airport. (Read more)

4. PM to Iranians: Israel stands with you, you’ll be ‘free sooner than people think’ - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a rare direct message to the Iranian people on Monday, saying Israel “stands with you,” as it aggressively fights the Islamic Republic’s proxies across the region in response to their attacks on the Jewish state.

“Every day, you see a regime that subjugates you make fiery speeches about defending Lebanon, defending Gaza. Yet every day, that regime plunges our region deeper into darkness and deeper into war,” the premier said in an English-language video statement, which was also disseminated with Persian subtitles.

Saying Iran’s “puppets” were being eliminated, Netanyahu added there was “nowhere in the Middle East Israel cannot reach. There is nowhere we will not go to protect our people. (Read more)

5. Germany will deny citizenship to those who call for Israel’s destruction with statements like 'From the river to the sea' - All Israel News

The German government, in recent years, has positioned itself as one of Israel’s strongest supporters in Europe. The German Federal Ministry announced that individuals who call for Israel’s destruction by using expressions, such as “From the river to the sea” will be denied German citizenship, according to the German Ministry of Interior and German news channel NDR.

The phrase is commonly used by anti-Israel activists to suggest that the state of “Palestine” should replace the State of Israel on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. The German Federal Ministry has noted that "statements such as 'From the river to the sea' coincide with an explicit call for violent actions against the State of Israel."

The new German citizenship law, which was passed in late June, stipulates that "racism, antisemitism or any other form of misanthropy rule out naturalization." The new law’s clause 10.1.1.1.3.1 specifically addresses Germany’s responsibility towards the Jewish state following the Holocaust, during which six million Jews were killed by the Nazi regime, citing "Germany’s special historical responsibility for the National Socialist injustice and its consequences, especially for the protection of Jewish life." A get-out-the-vote strategist is suggesting that Amish voters could influence the 2024 presidential election, saying they “could literally save western civilization in November.”

Scott Pressler, who leads the political action committee Early Vote Action, which aims to “elect Republicans by mobilizing a nationwide grassroots effort for voter registration and increasing absentee and early voting,” posted on X (formerly Twitter) Saturday, urging former President Donald Trump to reach out to Amish voters in Pennsylvania.

“I spoke to an Amish man last night that really wants you to come to Lancaster, PA. He said more Amish people would be able to attend your rally if it’s on a Saturday,” Pressler wrote. “He also suggested to advertise in the local newspaper, so the Amish will be able to read about it,” Pressler added, making his pitch to the Republican presidential nominee. “By doing a rally in Lancaster — connecting with the Amish — you could very well win Pennsylvania.” (Read more)

The Daily Jot

Stand, Turn and Choose

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, September 30, 2025

These days, people are all about standing up for and making choices about what they believe. If you take a stand or make a choice, however, that is unpopular with the majority, you may well be ostracized, bullied, shunned, or, as in former president Trump’s case, attempts may be taken on your life. It’s ironic that those who stand up for the right to choose life are threatened with death. Despite laws to the contrary, people are getting away with doing what is right in their own eyes, even if it is evil. You likely have seen the signs “Hate doesn’t live here.” They are posted in front of the houses where people hate you if you disagree with them. But we all are standing before God and the wise consider their choices.

Deuteronomy 29:9-30:20 is the Torah portion called Nitzavim, meaning standing. Nitzavim is read on the sabbath before Rosh Hashanah, which is October 2nd this year. There is an allusion to Rosh Hashanah in the first verse of Nitzavim: “Today you are standing, all of you before ADONAI your God…”  Rosh Hashanah is when the shofar is blown in a call all to repentance, known as Yom Teruah (Lev.23:24).  It is a time of self-examination before Yom Kippur when 10 days after Rosh Hashanah “all will stand before the LORD God.” According to tradition, beginning on Rosh Hashanah the people have 10 days to repent before their destiny is sealed on Yom Kippur.  The destiny of the righteous is written in the Book of Life, and the destiny of the wicked is written in the Book of Death. Biden gives devastating blow to victims of catastrophic Hurricane Helene

Cleanup work from the devastating, and historic Hurricane Helene that decimated parts of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina over the weekend is under way.

And the lives for many never will be the same.

Joe Biden commented immediately that the federal government was working on aid for the states hit by the category 4 behemoth that has left more than 100 dead.

But he wasn't optimistic about more.

He was asked if there were any more resources the federal government could provide, and he said, "No."

The Buncombe County region in North Carolina was among the hardest hit, with 35 fatalities there and an estimated 600 individuals still remaining unaccounted for.

Some points reported up to 30 inches of rain from the storm and flooding covered fields, streets, homes and businesses, cutting off travel. Much damage came from trees that were toppled in the fierce winds and hit buildings and vehicles.

As of Monday, millions still remained without power or the ability to travel.

Online, Biden and Harris were facing a backlash over a slow response, with one commenter suggesting they get that "check" back from Ukraine and send it to Asheville, N.C., which was a bull's-eye for the storm.

report at the Federalist unleashed a critical assessment of Biden and Harris as "Biden remained lounging at the beach this weekend while Appalachian valleys in North Carolina and Tennessee suffered deadly flooding." (WorldNetDaily) Read more here.

- Father God, this selfish behavior, being demonstrated by President Biden, has no excuse. When citizens need "911" help, the government must step forward IMMEDIATELY to render assistance. We are grieved to see this behavior on the part of the President of the United States, and we DECREE the IMMEDIATE release funds and assistance to the victims of this catastrophe. Help us, O Lord, we pray, amen and amen.

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Gal. 6:7,8)

Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants with sexual assault, murder convictions in US:
ICE data
ICE provided the new data to lawmakers this week

Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants with sex offenses and homicide convictions could be loose on the streets, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data provided to lawmakers this week.

The agency provided data to Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, about national data for illegal immigrants with criminal charges or convictions. The data, as of July 2024, is broken down by those in detention, and those who are not in detention -- known as the non-detained docket.  The non-detained docket includes illegal immigrants who have final orders of removal or are going through removal proceedings but are not detained in ICE custody. There are currently more than 7 million people on that docket.

The data says that, among those not in detention, there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending criminal charges.

Those include 62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 with drug convictions and 13,099 convicted of homicide. An additional 2,521 have kidnapping convictions and 15,811 have sexual assault convictions.

There are an additional 1,845 with pending homicide charges, 42,915 with assault charges, 3,266 with burglary charges and 4,250 with assault charges. (Fox News) Read more.

Netanyahu: Iran regime change will come a ‘lot sooner than people think’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday told Iranians that regime change was looming.

“When Iran is finally free, and that moment will come a lot sooner than people think — everything will be different,” Netanyahu said in a video statement addressed to Iranians, in which he lambasted the "fanatic theocrats" who rule the country.

“Our two ancient peoples, the Jewish people and the Persian people, will finally be at peace. Our two countries, Israel and Iran, will be at peace,” he added.

Netanyahu's video message comes amid rising tensions and fears of all-out regional war in the Middle East after an Israeli airstrike on Beirut late Friday killed Hezbollah leader and top Iranian ally Hassan Nasrallah. It followed an earlier remote-controlled attack that detonated pagers carried by Hezbollah members, killing dozens and disrupting the group's communications. Israel has also carried out airstrikes in Lebanon. Read more

Oldest Jewish book in the world on display at Museum of the Bible ahead of Rosh Hashanah
The book, consisting of prayers and drawings, is on display in Washington, D.C.

The Museum of the Bible in the nation’s capital has opened a new exhibit showing visitors how different faiths come together ahead of Rosh Hashanah.

The exhibit, "Sacred Words: Revealing the Earliest Hebrew Book," displays the oldest Jewish book in the world, the Afghan Liturgical Quire (ALQ).

The medieval manuscript consists of prayers, poems and drawings from the Hebrew Bible with pages of the oldest discovered Passover Haggadah.

Scholars determined the ALQ originates from the 700s, making it the oldest Hebrew book that's intact.

"This sacred book holds a surprising connection to the Bamiyan Valley of Afghanistan, where Buddhism once flourished along the Silk Roads. When it finally came to light, Christians, Jews and Muslims worked together to save it, understand it and make it accessible to the world," a Museum of the Bible press release says. Read More
