Kevin McCarthy: Republicans Will Start Every Day of Congress with Prayer and Pledge ‘No Exceptions’
“Next year, Republicans will start every day of Congress with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance,” McCarthy said. “No exceptions.”

His vow garnered positive attention across social media.

“Thank you Jesus for making this happen, we all need prayers,” one user wrote as another said, “Praise GOD! Made my day to read this.”

“Amen!! Things will go better I have no doubt!!! Get God back where He needs to be!! Good news!!” one said as another thanked McCarthy for “acknowledging what is missing in the world today.”

McCarthy’s vow comes weeks after national faith leaders joined with former President Donald Trump, offering a prayer for the nation ahead of Election Day.

During that phone call, National Faith and Values Prayer call, hosted by the American Cornerstone Institute, participants emphasized that the country needs to turn back to God and His ways.

“If the Lord is God, we need to follow in our whole heart. … It’s time to stop living with one foot in the kingdom of God and one foot in the world,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins  said during the call, speaking of the prophet Elijah’s “epic confrontation” with the prophets of Baal:

And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” And the people did not answer him a word.

“I really believe that … this is the message,” he said, praying that the people of the country “will humble themselves, will seek Your face, [and] will turn from their wicked ways.”

Trump also said during that same phone call that “you can see the fingerprints of the Almighty on all of our national triumphs.” (Breitbart) Read more.
- Thank You, O Lord, for these statements made by our Speaker-Elect, Kevin McCarthy. We understand that he came to know You as his personal Savior and Lord during a prayer service in a church in Bakersfield, California, many years ago. We now praise You, O Lord, that Kevin McCarthy is standing strong and true for You and You only in the policies he is setting in place for the House of Representatives when he assumes the gavel of leadership on January 3rd, 2023. In Your Name we offer this prayer, Holy One, amen and amen!

- "Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the great God,
And the great King above all gods."

U.S. Supreme Court rejects challenge to Republican-drawn Texas electoral district
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday turned away an appeal by Black and Hispanic voters accusing the Republican-led Texas legislature of intentionally redrawing a state Senate district to diminish their political clout, part of broader challenge to congressional and state legislative maps in the state.

The justices declined to review a ruling by a three-judge federal district court panel denying an injunction against the reconfigured state Senate district sought by the challengers. The plaintiffs have argued that the district's redrawn boundaries resulted from intentional racial discrimination against them in violation of the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment guarantee of equal protection under the law.

The dispute centers on a state Senate district that includes part of the city of Fort Worth in north-central Texas.

The district is currently held by Democratic state Senator Beverly Powell. But she dropped her re-election bid last April, calling the race "unwinnable" because of the way the legislature had redrawn the district's boundaries. Following the Nov. 8 election, the newly configured district will be represented by Republican Phil King, who ran unopposed.

Black and Hispanic plaintiffs sued after the Texas legislature approved new electoral maps in 2021. They argued that they had been "splintered" into other Senate districts where they will be "overpowered" by white voters.

While Powell's state Senate district was previously confined within a single county, it is now spread across seven others that the three-judge panel said are "populated mostly by rural Anglos who tend by a large margin to vote Republican." (Reuters) Read more here.
- Abba, thank you for giving your wisdom and insight to the Federal Judges who rejected the challenge to the redrawn Texas Electoral District.  Lord, we cry out to you for your truth and justice to prevail in all decisions handed down by the courts in our nation.  Thank you that the Supreme Court refused to hear this case on appeal, instead trusting the decision already given in this matter.

- "For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king.  He will care for us and save us."  (Isaiah 33:22)

Missouri Doctor Faces $500 Billion in FTC Fines for Promoting Vitamin D3 During Pandemic
A St. Louis chiropractor could face more than $500 billion in civil penalties through a federal lawsuit that alleges that he profited from selling Vitamin D and zinc products in violation of the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act.
“The federal government is suing me for half a trillion dollars … for telling people to take vitamins,” said Dr. Eric Nepute.
Nepute said his case goes to trial in Missouri federal court in March.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed the 27-page complaint in April 2021. It alleges, among other things, that Nepute profited from the online sale of Vitamin D and zinc products during the COVID-19 public health emergency. (Read more)
- Lord, we pray that You will grant favor to this doctor, and help him to find You in the midst of the storm. Too many good doctors were targeted during the Covid situation. Let truth and reason prevail against the onslaught.

- “For You bless the righteous, O Lord; You cover him with favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu: New government will pursue ‘broad’ consensus but defer to majority rule - Times of Israel

In his first speech to the 25th Knesset on Monday, presumed prime minister-to-be Benjamin Netanyahu stressed the importance of majority rule, as he continues negotiations to form the next government.

“Democracy is built from the elucidation of positions, from the spark of arguments,” Netanyahu said. “If we can, we’ll reach agreements — that happens frequently. If we can’t reach an agreement, the decision is made by the will of the majority — that’s exactly the difference between democracy and other [forms of government].”

In other parts of the world, the former prime minister added, decisions are made through force, “but here, democracy is the fundamental infrastructure.” (Read more)

2. Report: Smotrich to become finance, not defense, minister in compromise with Likud - Times of Israel

Prime minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu has reached a compromise with far-right Religious Zionist party leader Bezalel Smotrich in their stalled coalition talks, with the latter agreeing to give up his demand to be defense minister and instead take over the Treasury, Channel 12 reported Monday.

Smotrich had demanded the Defense Ministry, which would have given him significant control over the West Bank and over the daily lives of Palestinians. Such an appointment was fiercely opposed by the United States and was criticized domestically as well, including by right-wing figures, who noted Smotrich’s lack of security experience.

Instead, the defense portfolio will remain with Netanyahu’s Likud party. (Read more)

3. Liberman claims Netanyahu plans to oust incoming IDF chief, attorney general -Times of Israel

Yisrael Beytenu chair and outgoing Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman on Saturday claimed Benjamin Netanyahu and his prospective right-wing and religious coalition intend to fire the incoming military chief and replace the attorney general.

In a series of posts on Twitter, Liberman said after he had spoken to several senior Likud officials and people close to Netanyahu, “the emerging picture is more than alarming.”

Liberman issued a warning about the Netanyahu bloc’s plan to pass a bill allowing the Knesset to override High Court of Justice rulings, considered a top priority by the Religious Zionism and United Torah Judaism parties, and many in Likud, and of potential benefit to Netanyahu himself in extricating himself from his ongoing corruption trial. 5. Hezbollah transporting hundreds of chemical weapons to Lebanon - report - Jerusalem Post

Hezbollah is storing hundreds of missiles carrying a toxic chemicalpayload at a warehouse in Al Qusayr, near the Lebanese-Syrian border, the Saudi Al-Hadath news reported on Sunday.

The missiles include 110 Fajr missiles and over 300 Fateh missiles and are all carrying thionyl chloride, a toxic chemical, according to the report. The weapons and other equipment were transferred from the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in Masyaf to the location in Al Qusayr nearly two weeks ago.

Sources informed Al-Hadath that experts from North Korea injected the toxic chemicals into the missiles under the supervision of an Iranian national and expert specializing in chemical weapons, identified as Qassem Abdullah Massoudyan. (Read more)

1.  GOP House Opens Probe into Biden Family for 'Wide Range of Criminality' (breitbart.com)

Members of the newly controlled Republican House on Thursday announced an investigation into the Biden family business and whether President Joe Biden is compromised by the family’s business schemes.

Rep. James Comer (R-TN), the top Republican on the Oversight Committee, announced during a press conference that the Biden family will be investigated for the following violations:

Conspiracy or defrauding the United States
Wire fraud
Conspiracy to commit wire fraud
Violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act
Violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
Violations of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000
Tax evasion
Money laundering
Conspiracy to commit money laundering
“I want to be clear, this is an investigation of Joe Biden,” Comer stated. “The Biden family’s business dealings implicate a wide range of criminality from human trafficking to potential violations of the constitution.”

- Lord, once again we ask for justice over the Biden family’s activities. Let accountability finally come.

- “For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense.” (Isaiah 61: 8)

2. ‘Rome Is Burning’: Afghan Gov’t Was Misled By US Officials And Ignored Signs Of America’s Exit, Report Alleges | The Daily Caller

Some U.S. officials misled Afghan officials on the Biden administration’s planned exit from Afghanistan in 2021, who subsequently ignored signs of the coming withdrawal, a government watchdog report alleged.

While senior U.S. government officials involved in peace negotiations accepted the Biden administration’s withdrawal policy and took steps to execute it, other staff members at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul who disagreed with the policy sought to isolate and silence the compliant officials, the Special Investigator General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) found in a Wednesday report. Consequently, Afghan officials heard contradictory messages from the State Department that only encouraged an unwillingness to countenance a potential withdrawal and led to the government’s precipitous collapse in August 2021.

“They had no situational awareness and some of it is our fault. And a lot of it is their fault as well,” Bill Roggio, managing editor of The Long War Journal and a leading commentator on U.S. involvement in Afghanistan, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

- Lord, let justice come over the Afghanistan withdrawal.

- “But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24)

3.  Biden’s EPA Holds Up Major Oil Refinery Amid National Fuel Crisis | The Daily Caller

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Thursday announced that a large idled refinery in the U.S. Virgin Islands will remain shut down until it acquires a new Clean Air Act permit amid a national diesel shortage.

The St. Croix refinery, owned by West Indies Petroleum Limited and Port Hamilton Refining and Transportation, LLLC, has been shut down since June 2021 and will have to obtain a Prevention of Significant Deterioration permit which would require the operators to provide detailed air quality analyses and use sophisticated air pollution control

technology, according to the EPA press release. At the same time, the U.S. only has 26 days of diesel remaining in its commercial inventories and a gallon of diesel is roughly $1.58 more expensive than it was in November 2021, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The refinery, which was once one of the largest refineries in the world, used to be able to process 600,000 barrels of crude oil per day into gasoline and heating oil, a form of diesel, according to Bloomberg. The price of heating oil was 65% higher in October 2022 than it was in October 2021, meaning that Americans in the Northeast of the country will pay significantly more to keep their homes warm during the cold winter months, according to the EIA.

- Lord, we ask You for energy independence over and above the actions of this administration. We pray that You will not allow any more destruction of our energy.

- “Before destruction a man's heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.” (Proverbs 18;12)

4.  McConnell-Graham tensions boil over (msn.com)

This week’s bruising leadership fight in the Senate exposed simmering tension between Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), former President Trump’s closest ally in the Senate.

Graham, one of the Senate’s highest-profile Republicans, sharply criticized McConnell’s leadership of the Senate GOP conference during a private meeting this week.
He then told reporters that he voted to elect Sen. Rick Scott (Fla.) as Senate Republican leader because he thought a change was needed.

That earned Graham a sharp rebuke on Twitter Wednesday evening from Josh Holmes, McConnell’s former chief of staff and campaign manager, which some Republican senators saw as punishment for Graham criticizing McConnell’s leadership strategy during the lengthy private meeting at which Republican senators discussed why they fell short of expectations in the midterm election.

- Lord, we pray that consensus and unity will come to the Republican Party. Help them see Your truth and know Your perfect will.

- “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.” (1 Peter 3:8)

5.  Defense Department fails another audit, but makes progress | The Hill

The Defense Department has failed its fifth-ever audit, unable to account for more than half of its assets, but the effort is being viewed as a “teachable moment,” according to its chief financial officer.

After 1,600 auditors combed through DOD’s $3.5 trillion in assets and $3.7 trillion in liabilities, officials found that the department couldn’t account for about 61 percent of its assets, Pentagon Comptroller Mike McCord told reporters on Tuesday.

McCord said the department has made progress toward a “clean” audit in the past year, but later added “we failed to get an ‘A.’”  “I would not say that we flunked. The process is important for us to do, and it is making us get better. It is not making us get better as fast as we want,” he said.

This year’s outcome was not unexpected. Federal law since the early 1990s requires mandatory audits for all government agencies, and since fiscal year 2013 all but the DOD have been able to satisfy that requirement.

The sheer size and scope of the department — which makes up for more than half of the U.S. discretionary spending and has assets that range from personnel and supplies to bases and weapons — makes it difficult to audit.

- Lord, we pray for accountability and wisdom for the Department of Defense.  We ask that You show them how to keep track of all of their incomes and outgoes properly.

- “So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12)

6. PA Gov. Elect Josh Shapiro Arrests Democratic Consultant For ‘Wide Scale’ Ballot Fraud | The Daily Caller

Democratic Pennsylvania Governor-elect Josh Shapiro charged a former campaign consultant Wednesday with “wide scale” voter fraud, according to authorities.

Philadelphia political consultant Rasheen Crews was arrested Wednesday and charged with forging signatures on nomination petitions so that he could get his Democratic clients on the ballot during the 2019 primary races in the city, Shapiro’s office announced.

“In advance of the 2023 municipal elections, this arrest is an important reminder that interfering with the integrity of our elections is a serious crime,” Shapiro said in a statement. “By soliciting and organizing the wide scale forgery of signatures, the defendant undermined the democratic process and Philadelphians’ right to a free and fair election. My office is dedicated to upholding the integrity of the election process across the Commonwealth, to ensure everyone can participate in Pennsylvania’s future.”

- Lord, thank You for this one action, but we pray that all election corruption would cease within the United States. Let all evidence of such fraud be revealed to all, and let all rise up to stop it.

- “Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.” (Proverbs 10:2)

7. Multiple CBP agents wounded in shootout with suspected smugglers off Puerto Rican coast | Fox News

Multiple U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents were shot while boarding a suspected smuggling vessel off the coast of Puerto Rico on Thursday.
The CBP released a statement on the incident late Thursday morning, detailing the time and place of the operation. No details are available regarding the agents specific conditions. The organization has also yet to identify any of the victims.
"On Nov. 17, at approximately 8:00AM, three CBP Marine Interdiction Agents were involved in an exchange of gunfire with individuals on board a suspected smuggling vessel upon approach 14 miles off the coast of Cabo Rojo Puerto Rico.  The Marine Agents suffered various gunshot injuries as a result," the CBP said in a statement.

- Lord, we once again pray that You will intervene to stop the disaster at the Border. For this incident we ask Your comfort for those who were injured and their families. Let every person who believes in open borders understand the truth.

- “Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart.”  (Proverbs 11:29)

8.  A 'Barbed Wire Curtain' Rises in Europe amid War in Ukraine | Military.com

The long border between Finland and Russia runs through thick forests and is marked only by wooden posts with low fences meant to stop stray cattle. Soon, a stronger, higher fence will be erected on parts of the frontier.
Earlier this month, Polish soldiers began laying coils of razor wire on the border with Kaliningrad, a part of Russian territory separated from the country and wedged between Poland and Lithuania. Cameras and an electronic monitoring system also will be installed on the area that once was guarded only by occasional patrols of border guards.
The fall of the Berlin Wall more than 30 years ago symbolized hope for cooperation with Moscow. Now, Russia’s war in Ukraine has ushered in a new era of confrontation in Europe — and the rise of new barriers of steel, concrete and barbed wire. These, however, are being built by the West.
“The Iron Curtain is gone, but the ‘barbed wire curtain’ is now unfortunately becoming the reality for much of Europe,” said Klaus Dodds, a professor of geopolitics at Royal Holloway, University of London. “The optimism that we had in Europe after 1989 is very much now gone.”

- Lord, let Europe find their hope in You and not in man. Fill their lives with the repentance and life that comes from Your Spirit revealing Jesus as Savior.

- “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”  (Romans 15:13)

9.  Former Navy pilot’s win cements Republican control of US House (militarytimes.com)

Republican Rep. Mike Garcia, a former Navy fighter pilot, scored a U.S. House win in a strongly Democratic district Wednesday, handing the GOP control of the chamber and giving the party a rare reason to celebrate in a state dominated by Democrats.

The conservative Republican was reelected to a third term in a district that has a 12.5-point Democratic registration edge and was carried by then-presidential candidate Joe Biden by double digits in 2020. It was Garcia’s third consecutive victory over Democrat Christy Smith, a former legislator.

Garcia was first elected in a special election in May 2020, then was reelected two years ago by just 333 votes. He faced an even tougher challenge this year, after his left-leaning district was redrawn and became more solidly Democratic.
With nearly 75% of the ballots counted, Garcia had 54.2%, to 45.8% for Smith.

- Lord, we pray for wisdom as the GOP now has the majority in the House. We ask that all who were elected find Your truth and life.

- “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

10.  Hunters fear 'end of firearm sales' until Oregon creates gun permit system | Fox News

Gun rights advocates fear all firearm sales will freeze in Oregon in three weeks when one of the nation's strictest gun control measures takes effect.

Measure 114, which voters appear to have been passed by a 1.5% margin, bans ammunition magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds and mandates the creation of a permit-to-purchase system that includes hands-on firearm training.

"We're looking at the end of firearm sales in Oregon until this system is put into place," Amy Patrick, policy director for the Oregon Hunters Association, told Fox News.
Oregon State Police announced this week that Measure 114 will take effect Dec. 8.

Fox News asked OSP in an email whether firearm purchases will halt on that date if a permit processing system is not yet in place. A spokesperson for the agency said only that "OSP is working diligently to ensure that the new Permit to Purchase program will be operational by December 8, 2022."

Six out of Oregon's 36 counties voted in favor of the measure. At least five sheriffs have said they will not enforce part or all of the law when it takes effect, but it's not yet clear how that would work with a permitting system that will likely be implemented at the state level.

- Lord, we ask for a swift path to the Supreme Court for this law to be adjudicated.

- “God will give ear and humble them, he who is enthroned from of old, Selah because they do not change and do not fear God.” (Psalm 55:19)

The Daily Jot

The Power Of Suggestion

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 21, 2022

The FDA has denied in court that it forbid using Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID. Yet, Doctors who used the very effective treatment of Ivermectin to combat COVID were ridiculed, censored and many lost their jobs. Now the FDA is saying that it doesn’t know anything about any ban on Ivermectin for COVID. Just like all the companies that went along with requiring employees to get the COVID “vaccine” now are revising history about the failed efforts. The companies said they were complying with the government, yet the government says it never mandated private business to require the ineffective and unsafe COVID shots or treatments. They were merely suggestions.

The Epoch Times reported that FDA lawyer Isaac Belffer testified on November 1 in Dallas Federal Court, “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin…They use informal language, that is true…it’s conversational but not mandatory.” The hearing was in response to a lawsuit by three doctors who say FDA’s actions interfered with their practice of medicine. One of the doctors lost his job over it. Read More

McCarthy: I’ll Keep ‘Promise’ to Bar Swalwell, Schiff and Omar from Committees

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said on this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that he would keep his promise to bar Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) from committees if elected Speaker of the House.

Bartiromo asked, “What are you going to do in terms of these Democrats that you have on such important committees? You’ve talked in the past about removing Ilhan Omar, about removing Adam Schiff, about Eric Swalwell. Will you deliver?”

McCarthy said, “Yes, I will. I’ll keep that promise. One thing I have said from the very beginning is Eric Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector. Why would we ever give him a security clearance and the secrets to America? So I will not allow him to be on Intel. You have Adam Schiff, who lied to the American public time and again. We will not allow him to be on the Intel committee either. Look, Congresswoman Omar, her anti-semitic comments that have gone forward, we’re not going to allow her to be on Foreign Affairs, but we’re also going to stand up to what’s happening not just in the halls of Congress, but what’s happening to our higher education institutions, the antisemitism that’s going on on these campuses and others. We’ll investigate that as well and stop this to make sure that America does have the freedom that we said we would keep, and we will stand up to it as we move forward." (Breitbart) Read more here.

- Abba, we are so grateful for the strong stand for righteousness that Speaker-elect McCarthy is taking on who will and who will not be allowed to be members of various committees in the House of Representatives. We ask for great discernment and wisdom for those making these decisions, that your righteousness will be the guiding force and visible to all.

- "This is what the Lord says.  "Don't let the wise boast of their wisdom, or the powerful boast of their power, or the rich boast in their riches.  24 But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone; that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things.  I, the Lord, have spoken!" (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Earthquake of magnitude 5.6 leaves at least 46 dead in Indonesia

(CNN) -- At least 46 people have died after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's West Java province on Monday, according to the country's National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB).

A further 700 were left injured, according to Major General Suharyanto, head of the BNPB.

Samaritan’s Purse Gives Away 200 Millionth Christmas Shoebox
God’s love entered Elizabeth Groff’s life in the form of a yellow yo-yo packaged inside a shoebox. She remembers the feeling of light—in sharp contrast to the darkness that surrounded her for so much of her childhood. At the time, she didn’t know anything about Samaritan’s Purse or Operation Christmas Child, which sends shoeboxes of gifts to children in need around the world. Groff was born in a small town in Southern Ukraine. Both of her parents were alcoholics and her father was killed in an alcohol-related accident when she was just a year old, she said.

Her mother wasn’t able to properly care for her on her own, so they went to live with her grandparents. While there, her mother gave birth again to a little girl named Tanya. Their mother was rarely home, so even though she was just a child herself, Groff took on much of the responsibility of caring for her little sister. Officials decided that she should not be in her mother’s custody. Groff was, she said, officially classified as an orphan and sent to an orphanage. It was a good place that met all her physical needs, but Groff still felt the darkness around her. At the Orthodox church services the orphans attended, she learned of God and started to cry out to him.

She remembers the day her prayers were answered. The director of the center where she was staying called her and a group of other children into a small room. They were told they were going to receive gifts from people who wanted them to know how much God loved them. “I just remember being so excited about this gift because that was the first gift that I had ever received in my life,” she said. Inside the box were coloring books and little girl accessories, but her favorite item was a yellow yo-yo. As she held it, she thought about the idea that God loved her and she believed it. The darkness in her life was flooded with light. A couple of years later Groff was adopted into an American family and from then on has tried to spread that same message of hope to others with shoeboxes, which she would learn was an initiative of Samaritan’s Purse. (Christianity Today) Read More
- Lord, we thank You for the beautiful testimony of being blessed through God's people. We ask that the continual fruit of love be multiplied with every Christmas shoebox gifted to children in need of hope. May many children, receiving shoeboxes this Christmas, come to know You as Lord and Savior! In the powerful name of Jesus-Amen

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Words and Music:  Helen Lemmel

Scripture: Let us fix our eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2

Lyrics:
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of the world will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

Refrain

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
