Russia fires nuclear warhead-capable cruise missile with 'dummy' payload
|
|
Russia fired a nuclear warhead-capable cruise missile into Ukraine, but instead of a nuclear payload, was installed with a dummy "imitation" warhead, highlighting dwindling precision missile stocks, according to a report by Ukrainian outlet Defense Express on Friday morning.
The Kh-55, also known as X-55, is a Soviet missile that was originally developed specifically as a carrier of nuclear weapons, has a range of up to 2,500km and is launched from bomber aircraft. Another possible explanation is that the Russians deliberately used the Kh-55 with a dummy nuclear warhead in order to overwhelm Ukraine air defenses during the mass rocket barrage.
The launch, however, could have been intentional, aiming to "send a message" to Ukraine and its Western allies about a possible nuclear escalation of the war, a threat Russia has repeated many times in the past. (Jerusalem Post) Read more.

North Korea's Kim Jong Un threatens nuclear response to US and allies

The isolated country tested an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Friday shortly after warning of "fiercer military responses."
|
|
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un pledged to counter US nuclear threats with nuclear weapons as he inspected a test of the country's new intercontinental ballistic missile, state media KCNA said on Saturday.
The isolated country fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) toward the East Sea on Friday, the South Korean military said, in protest over the United States' move to reinforce its "extended deterrence" protection of South Korea and Japan.
Attending the site with his daughter and wife, Kim said threats from the United States and its allies pursing a hostile policy prompted his country to "substantially accelerate the bolstering of its overwhelming nuclear deterrence.”
Kim Jong Un solemnly declared that if the enemies continue to pose threats ... our party and government will resolutely react to nukes with nuclear weapons and to total confrontation with all-out confrontation," the official KCNA news agency said.
The launch is presumed to have involved the Hwasong-17 ICBM, according to Yonhap, the same ICBM was test-fired on Novermber 3, but the launch was seen as a failure. (Jerusalem Post) Read more here.

Kari Lake Announces Formation of Legal Team, Vows to Contest Election Results
|
|
With thin margins, most major decision desks have called the Arizona gubernatorial race in favor of Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, but Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake announced Thursday morning that she’s not yet ready to concede.
In a video message posted to her Twitter account, captioned with “Arizona, we are still in the fight,” Lake addressed what she described as a “broken election system” and vowed to continue to fight to prove that something seems to have gone terribly wrong.
“When we called for Katie Hobbs to recuse herself a year ago, they ridiculed us. It turns out we were right. The fox was guarding the henhouse, and because of that, voters have been disenfranchised,” Lake said.
She also addressed the “printer settings” malfunctions on the tabulation machines that affected roughly 20% of polling places in Maricopa County, as Fox 10 Phoenix reported. Lake said she tried to get rid of all electronic voting equipment long before the 2022 midterms.
“When we raised concerns and I filed a lawsuit months ago to get rid of the electronic voting machines, they said we were crazy. Well, it turns out we were right. On election day, nearly half of all polling locations had problems with tabulating machines and printers,” Lake said.
“My resolve to fight for you is higher than ever.” (PJ Media) Read more here.

1. Israel's Netanyahu sets Wednesday deadline for gov’t formation - Jerusalem Post
Likud head Benjamin Netanyahucontinued coalition negotiations on Thursday, meeting with representatives from United Torah Judaism (UJT), Shas and the Religious Zionist Party (RZP), setting his sights to Wednesday as the day for the formation of the new government.
According to reports, there have not been any advancements in talks with RZP head Bezalel Smotrich due to the tensions rising from his insistence on getting the defense portfolio. Israeli security officials, as well as the Americans, have warned against the post.
Smotrich’s people refused to discuss any government positions in the negotiation meeting, according to KAN, saying that they already made all their demands clear. The rising tensions are surrounding the defense portfolio. (Read more)

2. Smotrich demanding sovereignty plan be included in coalition deal - Israel National News
The Religious Zionist Party is demanding that the Likud include in the coalition agreement a provision for promoting Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, Channel 13 reported Sunday evening.
According to the report, the Religious Zionist Party is conditioning its support for a future government led by Benjamin Netanyahu in part on the Likud’s willingness to include a clause in the coalition agreement obligating the new government to take steps to apply Israeli sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria.
The Likud, however, is reportedly refusing to commit to any steps towards applying sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria in the next government, leaving the two sides deadlocked. (Read more)

3.Visiting US official urges Israel to strengthen PA to prevent its collapse - Times of Israel
A senior Biden administration official visiting Israel this week urged security officials to advance steps to strengthen the Palestinian Authority amid growing concerns the PA is on the verge of collapse, an official familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel on Saturday.
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs Hady Amr delivered the message in several meetings with Israeli officials, including one with senior IDF brass, the official said, confirming a Channel 13 report.
Amr said the US expected Israel to move forward with previously pledged projects to improve Palestinian livelihood and strengthen the Palestinian economy, the official said.

4. Four Syrian Soldiers Killed in Israeli ‘Air Aggression’ – State Media - Algemeiner
Four Syrian soldiers were killed and one wounded in Israeli “air aggression” on some military posts in the coastal and central region of Syria on Saturday morning, Syrian state news agency SANAreported.
Syrian air defenses countered the attack, which came from the Mediterranean Sea side and also caused material damage, the agency said.
“At approximately 6:30 this morning (0330 GMT), the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression over the Mediterranean Sea, from the direction of Banias, targeting some posts in the central and coastal region,” the agency quoted a military source as saying.
The Israeli military declined to comment. (Read more)

5. Antisemitic Attacks Continue in London’s Stamford Hill: Brick Thrown Through Synagogue Window - Algemeiner
The spate of antisemitic attacks in London’s Stamford Hill neighborhood continued on Friday with a brick thrown through a synagogue window.
According to Shomrim (Stamford Hill), a neighborhood watch group that protects London’s Hasidic Jewish community, an unknown man threw the brick through the synagogue window during evening prayers.
In a separate incident three Jewish girls walking home from school on Amhurst Park road, also in Stamford Hill, were confronted by two men seemingly trying to attack them while shouting “Jew,” according to Shomrim. (Read more)

1. Biden Administration Appoints Special Counsel for Trump Probe - Epoch Times
President Joe Biden’s administration on Nov. 18 announced it is appointing a special counsel for a probe involving former President Donald Trump, who just launched a 2024 presidential bid.
Attorney General Merrick Garland, a Biden appointee who heads the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), announced the appointment in Washington.
“Based on recent developments, including the former president’s announcement that he is a candidate for president in the next election, and the sitting president’s stated intention to be a candidate as well, I have concluded that it is in the public interest to appoint a special counsel,” Garland said.
Trump this week said he was running for president, seeking to win a second term in office.
Garland appointed Jack Smith, who currently prosecutes war crimes at The Hague, as special counsel.
Smith will take over the investigation related to Trump’s handling of presidential records and documents with classified markings. Trump is under investigation for possible violations of several laws, including the Espionage Act, U.S. authorities have said in court filings, in relation to the classified records and documents. Smith will also examine whether there was obstruction of that investigation. (Read more)

|
- Lord, we pray that You would realign the priorities of the Department of Justice to do what their job really entails rather than constantly "investigating" President Trump. Every former President took documents when they left office, and there were no investigations against them. We bind the hatred of the Democrats and curse it to its very root so that no more "fruit" of it will be evident.
- "And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once. When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither at once?” And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen." 2. FBI director ‘very concerned’ by reports of secret Chinese police stations in US - The Guardian
The United States is deeply concerned about the Chinese government setting up unauthorised “police stations” in US cities to possibly pursue influence operations, FBI director Christopher Wray has said.
“I’m very concerned about this. We are aware of the existence of these stations,” Wray told a US Senate homeland security and governmental affairs committee hearing, acknowledging the FBI’s investigative work on the issue but declining to give details.
“But to me, it is outrageous to think that the Chinese police would attempt to set up shop, you know, in New York, let’s say, without proper coordination. It violates sovereignty and circumvents standard judicial and law enforcement cooperation processes.”
Wray, asked by Republican Senator Rick Scott if such stations violated US law, said the FBI was “looking into the legal parameters”. (Read more)

3. Rising star Hakeem Jeffries announces bid to lead U.S. House Democrats - Reuters
U.S. congressman Hakeem Jeffries on Friday formally launched a bid to become the Democratic leader in the House of Representatives, a day after Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she was giving up her leadership role.
If he wins the Nov. 30 House Democratic leadership election, Jeffries would become the first Black lawmaker to head a party caucus in Congress. Jeffries, at age 52 three decades younger than Pelosi, would embody not only the party's diverse voter base but also a new generation of leadership in the House.
Pelosi's decision to step down after two decades leading the House Democratic caucus came a day after Republicans cemented a narrow majority in the chamber and prepared to name a speaker from their own party.
If he gets the job, Jeffries would have to navigate not only the responsibilities of being the head of a minority party in the chamber - balancing when to cooperate with Republicans and when to defend President Joe Biden's agenda - but also the delicate task of keeping his fellow Democrats on the same page. 4. NBC acknowledges myocarditis link to COVID-19 vaccines after sudden deaths of young adults - LifeSite News
In a sign of a potential shift in the mainstream media’s coverage of the issue, NBC News has published a report acknowledging a possible link between COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis.
NBC’s November 12 report opens with an anecdote about Detroit resident Da’Vion Miller, who at age 22 passed out at his home and was later hospitalized and diagnosed with myocarditis and pericarditis one week after receiving his first dose of Pfizer’s mRNA-based COVID shot and was subsequently advised by doctors not to receive his second.
“Myocarditis is a condition that has long been linked to a number of viral infections, including influenza, coxsackieviruses, as well as Covid,” the report says. “It has also been observed as an infrequent but worrisome side effect of the mRNA Covid vaccines.”
It then goes on to say “there have been around 1,000 reports of vaccine-related myocarditis or pericarditis in children under age 18, primarily young males, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.” The U.S. government’s federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) gives a much higher number for overall myocarditis and pericarditis cases, 53,836 as of November 4. An April study out of Israel indicates that COVID infection alone cannot account for such cases, despite claims to the contrary.
Still, the report represents a significant departure from the mainstream media’s treatment of the issue over the past two years, during which any affirmation of the shots’ harms was treated as dangerous medical misinformation. (Read more)

5. Federal Court Protects Female Athletes and Doctors, Rejects Administration’s Redefinition of Biological Sex - Daily Citizen
Recently an important ruling was made in a U.S. Federal court that struck down a Biden Administration effort through the Department of Health and Human Services to redefine one’s sex to include sexual orientation and gender identity. This ruling has many positive implications which include protection for women in sports and protections for the medical community to not have to perform any procedures that would violate their freedom of religion. 6. End Times being fulfilled? Federal Reserve, major banks launch 'digital dollar' - Christian Post
Is a new “digital dollar” project from the Federal Reserve and several of the world’s biggest banks another leap forward in Bible prophecy?
The Federal Reserve of New York along with major lenders such as Bank of America and HSBC have launched a pilot program for a digital dollar that will test the use of such tokens in the U.S. banking system. Under the project, dubbed the “Regulated Liability Network U.S. Pilot,” the Fed’s New York Innovation Center (NYIC) will “explore the feasibility of an interoperable network of digital central bank liabilities and commercial bank digital money using distributed ledger technology.”
So does the introduction of digital currency portend a biblical moment?
. . . Quite possibly, according to Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Southern California.
“The Bible does tell us in Revelation Chapter 13 that there will come a time where a global economic system is digitized, that all those who participate in a global economy will need to do so with what we would call a prefix, meaning a number that is the head of an account,” Hibbs told The Christian Post. “That number, the Bible is very clear about. That number says that your account will be preempted by the number 666, that famous number that people always wonder about and make mention that it’s Satan’s number.”
Pointing to nearly three years since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hibbs sees the global response to the virus as a sort of precursor to the totalitarian government system seen in the Apostle John’s apocalyptic vision. In fact, Hibbs added, COVID and the ensuing global response captivated the world in ways that even two world wars were unable to do.
“For the first time in human history, the world was immediately affected and united for good or for evil regarding COVID. … It brought the world — all of it at once — into real time,” he said. “No other event in human history has ever accomplished something like that.” “The digital currency testing and discussion does not mean this is the mark of the beast, but it means that we are getting so much closer,” he said. “In a word, the stage is … being set for the End Times to be fulfilled and we’re witnessing that now.”
For that reason alone, Hibbs said Christians should be “emboldened and energized” by such headlines for the proclamation of the Gospel. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray Your wisdom as the end times inch closer and closer. May we be filled with knowledge and discernment to do Your will.

7. UN Draft: LGBT a ‘Crime Against Humanity’ - LifeSite News
The United Nations (UN) is considering the adoption of a treaty that would defend homosexual lifestyles and may lead to the addition of so-called “homophobia” to the classification of a crime against humanity.
A document titled “Draft Articles on Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Humanity” is the unofficial treaty that has removed a long-accepted definition of gender as male and female, leaving open the possibility of defending the truth about gender and sex to qualify as a crime against humanity in the form of targeting LGBT people.
The draft treaty proposes changes that are both consistent with and in opposition to the 1999 Rome Statute, which established the International Criminal Court and includes persecution on the basis of gender as a crime against humanity. However, the statute also states that “the term ‘gender’ refers to the two sexes, male and female, within the context of society. The term ‘gender’ does not indicate any meaning different from the above.”
Contrary to the long-accepted treaty, the draft under debate in the current session has removed this definition of gender and emphasized the broad classification of a crime against humanity as a means to include LGBT people as populations to be protected.
According to the Center for Family and Human Rights, or C-Fam, the European Union and the United States are “pushing the General Assembly to adopt the new treaty” while other countries, including Morocco, many nations in the African Group, Egypt, the Russian Federation and Pakistan rejected the proposal. The Holy See also criticized the treaty, stating that it “regrets the ILC’s (International Law Commission) decision” to remove the true definition of gender from the draft. (Read more)

- We pray this draft NEVER passes. Strike it down, Lord!

8. 3 dead as dangerous lake-effect storm paralyzes upstate New York - CBS News
Residents of northern New York state were digging out Saturday morning from a dangerous lake-effect snowstorm that had dropped more than 6 feet of snow in some areas and caused at least three deaths.
The Buffalo metro area was hit particularly hard, with some areas south of the city receiving more than 5 feet of snow by early Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, the suburb of Orchard Park, home to the NFL's Buffalo Bills, reported 77 inches (196 centimeters) by early Saturday. About 80 miles (129 kilometers) northeast of the city, the town of Natural Bridge, near the Fort Drum Army base, reported just under 6 feet.
The National Weather Service predicted partial sunshine and a break from the snow on Saturday in New York, but not for long.
"Later on this evening and through early next week, we're expecting another round of lake-effect snow for much of western New York," National Weather Service meteorologist Zack Taylor told The Associated Press. Taylor, based in College Park, Maryland, said that could produce as much as 15 inches (38 centimeters) of snow for areas near Lake Erie and 2 feet (61 centimeters) for areas near Lake Ontario.
In the Buffalo area, Poloncarz tweeted that two people died "associated with cardiac events related to exertion during shoveling/snow blowing."
"We send our deepest sympathies and remind all that this snow is very heavy and dangerous," Poloncarz wrote.
A third person — a snowplow driver in the town of Hamlet, Indiana — was killed Friday when his plow slid off the pavement and rolled over, according to the Starke County Sheriff's Department. Hamlet is about 30 miles (48 kilometers) from Lake Michigan. (Read more)

9. Medical Associations Sue FDA Over Approving Chemical Abortion Pills - Epoch Times
A bloc of national medical associations and doctors focusing on caring for pregnant and post-abortive women is suing federal officials, claiming they illegally approved chemical abortion drugs that they say harm girls and women. Most abortions carried out in the United States nowadays are induced by chemicals, not accomplished by surgical means, according to lawyers who filed the new lawsuit.
The lawsuit, launched Nov. 18, is one of several that have popped up taking aim at abortion-related policies since the Supreme Court found in June that there is no constitutional right to abortion, overturning the 49-year-old precedent Roe v. Wade in the process.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) placed “politics over science when it pushed for the legalization of the chemical abortion drugs mifepristone and misoprostol in 2000,” according to the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a public interest law firm specializing in religious freedom cases. “The only way the FDA was able to approve the drugs was by characterizing pregnancy as an ‘illness’ and arguing that these drugs provide a ‘meaningful therapeutic benefit,’” ADF said in a statement.
By greenlighting the chemical abortion drugs, the FDA ignored its legal obligation to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of girls and women, ADF said. The agency never studied the safety of the drugs, ignored the potential impacts of the hormone-blocking regimen on the developing bodies of adolescent girls, disregarded evidence that these drugs cause more complications than surgical abortions, and eliminated necessary safeguards for pregnant girls and women who undergo “this dangerous drug regimen.” (Read more)

10. 37 countries sign pledge to uphold pro-life, pro-family policies 2 years after Geneva Consensus Declaration - Christian Post
WASHINGTON — The number of countries expressing support for a document explicitly stating that “there is no international right to abortion” continues to expand as nations around the world work to implement policies consistent with its mandate to make the family the bedrock of society.
Lawmakers, pro-life activists and representatives of governments worldwide gathered on Capitol Hill Thursday to commemorate the second anniversary of the signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration on Promoting Women’s Health and Strengthening the Family, which declares that “there is no international right to abortion.” The United States was one of the nearly three dozen countries that first signed the document on Oct. 22, 2020, although it later withdrew support after President Joe Biden took office.
Signatories to the Geneva Consensus Declaration include: Bahrain, Belarus, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, DRC, Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eswatini, Gambia, Georgia, Guatemala, Haiti, Hungary, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Kuwait, Libya, Nauru, Niger, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Poland, Qatar, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda, UAE, Zambia.
The document’s name reflects that it was crafted at the 2020 World Health Assembly, which was slated to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, until the coronavirus pandemic forced the event to be held virtually. (Read more)

What is the status of the "Respect for Marriage Act" now?

News from MyFaithVotes.org

|
This Respect for Marriage Act doesn't just codify same-sex marriage into law, it places every Christian who supports God’s design for marriage in jeopardy of being harassed, sued, fired, or worse, under the guise of discrimination. This godless bill passed a procedural vote on Wednesday, 11/16, in the Senate and will now move forward for a full Senate vote which as of Thursday evening had not happened. If passed, it will head back to the House to reconcile the amended version of the bill. We are grieved that our government has once again chosen to single out Christians in their effort to eradicate the freedoms of those with whom they don’t agree. Speaking truth to our Congressional representatives is urgently needed. We are warned in Proverbs 3:7 not to be wise in our own eyes, but to fear the Lord and turn from evil. How will those who rely solely on their own thoughts know the truth if we don’t relay it to them? Please use our simple tool to send a message to your Congressman or Congresswoman today.
> > > A note from CHPP: Congress has now gone into its recess period, and will resume it work the week after the Thanksgiving holiday. SO . . . there is STILL TIME to make your voice known, to protest this wicked piece of legislation! Thank you!

|
- Father God, we thank You that this bill has not yet had the final vote for passage. We continue to ask You to visit these members in their sleep, according to Your Word Abba, and warn them of the judgment to be rendered if they vote FOR passage of this bill!
- "In a dream, in a vision of the night,
When deep sleep falls upon men,
While slumbering on their beds,

And seals their instruction." (Job 33:15,16)

With a 50-50 split in the U.S. Senate, a power-sharing agreement between the two parties would ensure equal representation on committees. It means that both the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader have equal opportunity to bring items to the Senate floor. And a 50-50 Senate split keeps the filibuster more secure. With a 51-49 Democrat majority, only one of the two democrat senators who currently support the filibuster would need to back down for the filibuster to be abolished and all legislation to pass with a simple majority.
The deadline to sign up is November 28 so please don’t miss out.

Asteroid hit Canada hours after discovery
|
|
Astronomers spotted an asteroid just hours before it struck Earth Saturday morning (November 19, 2022), near Lake Erie in Canada. This is not the first time this year astronomers have discovered a rock from space just hours before it hit Earth. But this time, it entered Earth’s atmosphere over a populated area, crossing the skies of Toronto, Canada. So we have video and witnesses who saw, heard and felt the impact.
Ye Quanzhi, a University of Maryland astronomer who studies asteroids, comets and meteors, reported on Twitter at 1:13 a.m. EST on November 19:
"Looks like a space rock is going to fall into Lake Erie area in ~2 hours (about 3:30 am EST)"
He shared the link for NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies Hazard Assessment page. The object, C8FF042, is now removed from the page because it has struck Earth and is therefore no longer a threat. Read More

While no overwhelming red wave emerged from the midterm national races, conservative groups involved in local school board races saw encouraging results. Education certainly mattered to voters on the local level and that resulted in school boards in several states winning conservative majorities. Supporters see those wins as part of a larger trend giving Republicans the upper hand in this issue. "Last year, almost everything we got on our tip line was about race. This year, probably about 75% is related to gender. A lot of the questions now are about social-emotional learning, data mining, and surveys were given without parental consent," said Nicole Neily of Parents Defending Education.
Traditionally nonpartisan bodies, local school boards have turned fiercely political. A swell of largely first-time candidates got into the game this cycle hoping to overturn school policies and give parents more of a voice. Donations from Republican groups poured into their campaigns also made a difference."We were just really excited to see the results and we think it's just the beginning of this wonderful parental rights movement around the country," said Tiffany Justice of the organization Moms for Liberty (CBN) Read More.

- Abba, we praise You for parents fighting against the progressive woke-agenda in our educational system. May school boards not honoring You be removed and replaced in every district across our nation! We declare protection over the hearts and minds of our children.
In Jesus mighty name- Amen

The Love of God

Words and Music: Frederick Lehman
Scripture: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Romans 8:35
Lyrics:
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen
Can ever tell
It goes beyond
The highest star
And reaches to
The lowest hell
The guilty pair
Bowed down with care
God gave his son to win
His erring child
He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin
Oh love of God
How rich and pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song
Could we with ink
The ocean fill
And were the skies
Of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky
Oh love of God
How rich and pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song
