5 Aircraft Carriers Set to Operate Together in Europe for NATO Exercise

U.S. aircraft carriers USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) and USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) will exercise with aircraft carriers from France, Italy and the United Kingdom as part of a joint operation across Europe meant to show NATO interoperability, the Pentagon announced Thursday.

The two American carrier strike groups, their embarked air wings and escorts will be operating in the North Atlantic Ocean, North Sea and Mediterranean Sea along with the U.K. Royal Navy’s HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08), Italian carrier ITS Cavour (CVH 550) and the French FS Charles de Gaulle (R 91), Sabrina Singh, deputy Pentagon press secretary, told reporters Thursday.

“These operations present an opportunity for allied nations to coordinate critical combat power throughout the Euro-Atlantic area while showcasing NATO cohesion and interoperability,” Singh said. “It is also an opportunity to test allied cooperation and to practice NATO’s deter and defend concepts across all geographic areas, operational domains and functional areas of the alliance.” (USNI.org) Read more here.

- Lord God, we thank You that these five nations are working together in a show of unity, undergirding the commitment of the NATO nations to help each other when they are in need.  May each of these nations reap a blessing as a result of their obedience to sustain NATO.

North Korea missile lands 130 miles off Japan's coastline and within Japanese exclusive economic zone

North Korea test-launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of carrying a nuclear warhead with a range that could strike anywhere across the U.S.'s mainland, defense officials said Friday.

The missile landed 130 miles off the coast of Japan, and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said it was in close communication with Japanese and South Korean officials.

The U.S. command immediately condemned Pyongyang’s missile launched and called on it to "refrain from any further unlawful and destabilizing acts."

Defense officials said they did not assess the missile test was an immediate threat to the U.S. or its allies but said it would continue to "monitor the situation."

"U.S. commitments to the defense of the ROK [Republic of Korea] and Japan remain ironclad," the Indo-Pacific Command said in a statement early Friday morning. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we continue to ask that "those in authority" in our nation, in many different agencies, be graced with "wisdom from above" as they monitor the actions of North Korea. We ask that we be kept safe from harm, in Your name,
amen and amen.

Topic: Defeating the "Defense of Marriage Act"
Sen. Lee on Marriage Bill: ‘There’s Still Time... We Can Stop This Thing’
If you’re waiting for the Georgia runoff to decide what the Republicans’ margins are, don’t bother. Thanks to Wednesday’s marriage vote, we know exactly where the lines are drawn. Heading into this week, a lot of people said that America was about to find out what the Senate GOP is made of. Now we know. Republicans may be down one seat in the Senate, but they’re 12 short where it matters — on principle.

“Everyone seems to nod their head [and agree],” Lankford said, but when Republicans like Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) bring amendments to correct it, Democrats (and their Republican enablers) say, “‘We’re not going to fix it.” “You know what that tells me?” Lankford asked. “These are not mistakes… This was purposeful.”

Lee, who’s led the charge to put the brakes on this disaster, was stumped as to how either side of the aisle could defend a vote to terrorize people for their personal beliefs. “This sets in motion a [dangerous] sequence of events,” he told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins soberly after the vote. “It’s likely to culminate in the removal of tax exempt status from religious institutions … that harbor or share a religious belief about the definition of marriage and whether they accept same-sex marriage.” Why? Because the bipartisan “fix” was a farce. “This is a shell game that ends in the … destruction of religious liberty in America.” (The Stand) Read more here.

- Lord God, we agree with this statement by Senator Mike Lee: there IS still time to stop this bill from becoming law. We continue to ask You, Holy One, to visit the 12 members in the night, according to the verse below. Lord God. we cry out unto You that You would visit these members with the power of Your Word, turning their hearts in repentance back unto You. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "In a dream, in a vision of the night,
When deep sleep falls upon men,
While slumbering on their beds,
16 Then He opens the ears of men,
And seals their instruction.
17 In order to turn man from his deed,
And conceal pride from man,"

'Americans will be shocked': Former Hunter Biden business partner lauds GOP probe into Hunter Biden
Joe Biden has denied any involvement in Hunter's deals

Former SinoHawk holdings chief Tony Bobulinski – who was partners in that China-linked company with Biden family members – praised Kentucky Republican Congressman James Comer's newly-launched probe into the First Family's business deals.

Earlier Thursday, Comer made a point during a press conference to note the probe will be focused on Joe Biden's alleged links to corrupt overseas deals, but greatly weights the behavior of his surviving son, Hunter.

During an interview at the Fox News Patriot Awards, Bobulinski – a Navy veteran – said the best news is that Americans will no longer have to "take my word for it" in terms of
allegations Joe and Hunter were in overseas cahoots on multiple occasions. (Fox News) Read more here.

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
