House Republicans Announce Investigation of Joe Biden
|
|
House Republicans announced an investigation Thursday into President Biden’s international business “schemes,” accusing the Biden family of leveraging political power to get rich while leaving the U.S. compromised.
Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) made the announcement in a press conference.
“This is an investigation of Joe Biden, the President of the United States. ” Comer told reporters. “And why he lied to the American people about his knowledge and participation in his families international business schemes.”
Comer is soon to be the chair of the House Oversight Committee, and Jordan is expected to head up the House Judiciary Committee, as Republicans will retake control of the chamber in January.
Comer alleged Biden could be guilty of a slew of charges, including evidence of conspiracy or defrauding the United States, money laundering, wire fraud, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, tax evasion, and even crimes related to human trafficking.
The Kentucky representative also called out the Democrats who have led the oversight committee during these first two years of the Biden administration and have not investigated the president.
The committee said they will keep the public updated with their findings. (Todd Starnes)

The Israeli Navy carried out a successful C-Dome interception test from the Sa’ar 6 INS Oz, marking a “significant” milestone in enhancing the capabilities of the new Magen-class corvettes.
The interception test was carried out by the Israeli Navy, the Israel Defense Ministry IMDO, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as the primary contractor and developer, the Israel Aerospace Industries’ Elta as the radar manufacturer, and mPrest as the c2 manufacturer.

1. In Phone Call With Netanyahu, Erdogan Declares ‘New Era’ in Israel-Turkey Ties - Algemeiner
In a phone call on Thursday, Israel’s designated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sought to advance a “new era” in the relations between the two countries.
“Highlighting the beginning of a new era in the Turkey-Israel relations thanks to the strong will displayed by both sides, President Erdogan said that it was in the shared interest of Turkey and Israel to maintain the relations by respecting sensitivities on the basis of mutual interests, and to strengthen them on a sustainable basis,” according to a readout of the call by Erdogan’s office.
In what marked the first conversation between the two leaders since 2013, Netanyahu called Erdogan to express his condolences over the killing of Turkish citizens in last week’s terror attack in Istanbul, while Erdogan conveyed his “sadness” over this week’s stabbing attack in Ariel in the West Bank. 2. Officials: Drone that hit Israeli-owned tanker near Oman was launched from IRGC base - Times of Israel
An Iranian explosive-laden drone that struck an oil tanker associated with an Israeli billionaire off the coast of Oman this week was launched from an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base in Iran, officials said Thursday.
The Liberian-flagged oil tanker Pacific Zircon was struck by a Shahed-136 on Tuesday night, causing damage but no injuries. Pacific Zircon is operated by Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping, which is a company ultimately owned by Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer.
According to a BBC report, a Western official said the drone was launched from the IRGC’s Air Force regional command in the southeastern city of Chabahar. (Read more)

3. ‘Respect Our Democracy’: Smotrich Slams US Over Implied Warning on Defense Portfolio - Jewish Press
(Israel Hayom via JNS) The Religious Zionist Party criticized the Biden administration on Wednesday after U.S. ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides implicitly warned Israeli Prime Minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu against appointing party head Bezalel Smotrich as the next defense minister.
The faction said in a statement that while it has “a lot of respect and appreciation for our ally the United States, the Biden administration should also respect Israeli democracy and not interfere in the establishment of an elected government.”
Earlier, Nides told Jewish Insider, “I’m not going to speculate over who will be in the government or what our reaction will be when it happens, but what I do care about are those ministries that we have a very close, interlocking relationship with, in particular, the Defense Ministry.”
Smotrich has asked for either the Finance Ministry, which Shas leader Aryeh Deri has also requested, or the Defense Ministry, which Netanyahu has reportedly said he cannot have due to his lack of experience and the Biden administration’s objections. (Read more)

4. Israel's President Herzog to make historic Bahrain visit - Israel National News
During his Gulf tour on 4-5 December 2022, Israeli President Isaac Herzog will meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and then will travel to Abu Dhabi, where he will attend President Mohammed bin Zayed's Abu Dhabi Space Debate.
The President will depart from Israel on Sunday, 4 December 2022, for a State Visit to Bahrain at the invitation of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The President will visit the capital, Manama, where he will meet with the King, government officials, and Jewish community members, and will visit the Bahrain Economic Development Board with Israeli business representatives.
President Isaac Herzog will be the first Israeli head of state to visit Bahrain.
The following day, Monday, 5 December, the President will travel to the United Arab Emirates, where he will attend the Abu Dhabi Space Debate and meet with UAE President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This will be their fourth meeting since the President entered office. (Read more)

2. Researchers in Swing States Secretly Monitored What Big Tech Showed Voters - "Blatant Manipulation" - The Gateway Pundit
Big Tech is rigging elections to help Democrats. A team of researchers led by Robert Epstein, Ph.D. found that Google took steps to shift votes in favor of Democrats during the midterm elections. According to the findings, Google nudged undecided voters toward the Democrats by showing them biased content on Google and YouTube.
They also found that Google was sending far fewer go-vote reminders to conservatives than to liberals and moderates. The extent of how many votes were shifted by Google’s meddling is unknown.

4. Rabbis call on New Israeli Coalition to Re-examine Relationship with Chinese Regime - The Epoch Times
HAIFA, Israel—In a letter to the new Israeli coalition bloc, twenty-five rabbis called for a reexamination of Israel-China relations in light of crimes committed by the Chinese regime.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Nov. 13 tasked Benjamin Netanyahu to build the next coalition government together with nationalist and religious parties following the elections on Nov. 1.
Netanyahu has 28 days to form a coalition and 14 additional days if needed.
‘Shocking Murder Campaigns’
Among the signatories on the Nov. 15 letter are rabbis from most of the Religious Zionist denominations.
The rabbis noted that the Chinese regime is committing severe crimes against the Chinese people and against citizens worldwide. 5. Pence says he Will Not Testify Before Jan 6 Committee - The Epoch Times
Former Vice President Mike Pence has ruled out testifying before the House Jan. 6 committee, saying that Congress “has no right” to his testimony.
The comment was made during an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Nov. 16.
“I am closing the door on that,” he said, contending, “We have a separation of powers under the Constitution of the United States.”
The former vice president said that such an act would create a bad precedent.
“And I believe it would establish a terrible precedent for the Congress to summon a vice president of the United States to speak about deliberations that took place at the White House,” he said.

6. Texas Bills Seek to Protect Children from Drag Performances, Sex Change Procedures - The Epoch Times
Texas Republicans this week pre-filed a slate of bills to pursue at the next state legislative session in January that seek to prevent children from seeing drag shows and would classify sex-change procedures for minors as child abuse.
State Rep. Jared Patterson (R-Frisco) on Nov. 14 filed HB643, which seeks to reclassify businesses that permit drag performances as “sexually oriented” businesses under Texas Local Government Code.
“I filed HB643 so that any business allowing a drag show must be classified as a sexually oriented business and if kids are permitted that there will be consequences,” Patterson said on Twitter. “You’re living in bizzaroworld if you think it’s family friendly to stuff dollars into the g string of a grown man.” Read more

7. US Consumers are doing exactly what they did just prior to the crash of 2008 - The Economic Collapse Blog
We never seem to learn from our mistakes. Just before the financial markets crashed and the economy plunged into a horrifying recession in 2008, U.S. consumers went on a debt binge of epic proportions. Mortgage debt, auto loan debt and credit card debt all skyrocketed, and so when the economy finally crashed all of a sudden there were millions of Americans drowning in bills that they were unable to pay. Well, now it is happening again. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, during the third quarter of 2022 household debt increased at the fastest pace that we have seen since the first quarter of 2008…
Households added $351 billion in overall debt last quarter, taking the total to $16.5 trillion, according to data released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Tuesday. That’s an increase of 8.3% from a year earlier, the most since a 9.1% jump in the first quarter of 2008. The debt figures aren’t adjusted for inflation.
This is a recipe for disaster.
As I have been warning my readers for years, you want to have as little debt as possible when economic conditions get really bad.
Unfortunately, even though everyone can see that economic activity is slowing down all around us, consumers are piling on debt at a stunning pace.

While Europe has been keeping a generally optimistic facade ahead of the coming cold winter, signaling that it has more than enough gas in storage to make up for loss of Russian supply even in a "coldest-case" scenario, behind the scenes Europe's largest economy is quietly preparing for a worst case scenario which include angry mobs and bankruns should blackouts prevent the population from accessing cash.
As Reuters reports citing four sources, German authorities have stepped up preparations for emergency cash deliveries in case of a blackout (or rather blackouts) to keep the economy running, as the nation braces for possible power cuts arising from the war in Ukraine. The plans include the Bundesbank hoarding extra billions to cope with a surge in demand, as well as "possible limits on withdrawals", one of the people said. And if you think crypto investors are angry when they can't access their digital tokens in a bankrupt exchange, just wait until you see a German whose cash has just been locked out.
Officials and banks are looking not only at origination (i.e., money-printing) but also at distribution, discussing for example priority fuel access for cash transporters, according to other sources commenting on preparations that accelerated in recent weeks after Russia throttled gas supplies.
The planning discussions involve the central bank, its financial market regulator BaFin, and multiple financial industry associations, said the Reuters sources most of whom spoke on condition of anonymity about plans that are private and in flux. Read more

The unholy election influence alliance

There is an unholy alliance of collusion between government, media and business. The underpinnings of the Constitutional Republic are threatened by this powerful alliance. Government has become so large that it must support socialistic and communistic efforts to self-perpetuate. Media has become infiltrated with socialists and Marxists who despise those who offer dissenting opinions. Big business, such as pharmaceuticals and technology companies, grow and prosper with big government contracts. Hence, when all three are working together to influence elections to install those who will ideologically or economically advance their agendas, the freedom of everyone is jeopardized.
In an Epoch Times Opinion Editorial, Dr. Robert Epstein, Ph.D., outlines how just one sector is using psychological warfare on American voters to influence elections. Epstein, former editor-in-chief of Psychology Today, is a senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology. Why Plandemics Are Critical for Dems to Stay in Power

Since March of 2020, Democrats have assumed imaginary powers — powers that were never granted to them under the U.S. or state Constitutions. Democrat governors waged economic warfare against small businesses, shutting down anyone they considered to be “non-essential.” Democrat governors threw their support behind rioters and looters, while advocating for shutdowns and restrictions on places of worship. Democrat governors targeted anyone who didn’t comply with harmful medical experimentation. Individuals who protested the lockdowns, forced masks, and mandatory vaccines were dubbed “enemies of the state” – their livelihoods and careers threatened.
PLANDEMICS are critical for Democrats to stay in power because: fear is a motivating force, bringing power to every unlawful mandate; abusers know that psychological manipulation works on their victims; and state election systems can be corrupted if a perpetual state of emergency can be maintained.
The principles of individual liberty and limited government have not mattered over the past three years because Democrats weaponized fear, propagated false narratives, and used terror to dictate. This caused many people to abandon their faith in God, to give their parental rights away to the state, and to seek continual validation from a false god in order to get their freedoms back. Civil liberties were suspended nationwide and the individual’s inalienable rights were threatened on a daily basis because enough people complied with the Democrat’s fear, virtue-signaling deceit, manipulation, and desire for absolute control.
Perpetual PLANDEMIC FEAR is now critical for Democrats to stay in power. Democrats will most assuredly weaponize FEAR further, to terrorize people to give up their individual liberties for a false sense of security in matters of infection, hospitalization, social justice, dialogue, climate, gun violence, and calls for election integrity. Today he joins me in an interview to discuss his findings, warning that sooner or later, the medical and scientific community will be unable to ignore the fact that over 2,400 Americans are dying each day — almost certainly from vaccines — which comes to about 900,000 Americans killed in a year.

Across the population, Ed Dowd explains in the interview, excess mortality is running about 32%. Around 7,700 Americans routinely die each day, and 32% of that comes to 2,400+ deaths per day. That’s only counting America. Global deaths are, of course, far higher.
Credible estimates of global deaths from covid-19 vaccines have been compiled by other analysts and experts, and they claim that at least 20 million people have already been killed worldwide from covid-19 vaccines, making the scale of this “vaccine holocaust” more than triple the size of the historical Holocaust atrocity. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi received an outpouring of respect from House Democrats after she announced she would be stepping down from her leadership position, with lawmakers praising the California Democrat for her work over the last 20 years.
The 82-year-old made the highly anticipated announcement on Thursday, confirming she would step down from her role despite calls from some in her party to remain in a leadership position. However, Pelosi also faced calls from Democrats to retire and clear the way for the next generation of leadership.
Pelosi announced her plans to step down in a floor speech, receiving applause and several standing ovations from lawmakers during her remarks. The applause was followed by kind words as reporters caught up with lawmakers at the Capitol.
“She called me and told me all this, and all that I said [was], 'Please change your mind. We need you here,'” said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who attended the speech. “We're only as good as the team in our unit. One of her famous expressions, which I have tried to carry out in the Senate and learned from her, [is] ‘In unity, there is strength.’” (Washington Examiner) Read more here.

There Could Be Something Big Living Deep
Beneath the Antarctic Ice

Antarctica is one of the most extreme environments on Earth. It is also one of the most unexplored.
Many of us think of the continent as a vast, white wasteland, populated by nothing more than penguins and seals. But beneath its icy surface, scientists are beginning to discover vast networks of complex life forms that have not been seen anywhere else on the planet.
There are two different types of Antarctic ice: land ice and sea ice. Sea ice is formed when the upper layers of the Southern Ocean freeze over. The ice cover is seasonal and, in the summer, most of this ocean ice melts away.
Blooms of photosynthetic algae have been observed in these regions as soon as the ice melts. But until recently, it was often assumed that the packed sea ice prevented any light from reaching the layers beneath before this seasonal transition.
However, new research suggests that blooms of photosynthetic algae, called phytoplankton, can grow, and even thrive, before the ice retreats. Read More

Federal judge throws out Biden admin's transgender policy

AMARILLO, Texas (LifeSiteNews) — A federal judge on Friday shot down the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) transgender policy, delivering a win for healthcare workers opposed to providing so-called “gender-affirming” care for “transgender” patients. U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in Amarillo, Texas, ruled November 11 that federal law does not prohibit healthcare providers from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, contrary to the Biden administration’s interpretation of an Obamacare provision, Reuters reported.
The Biden administration’s HHS announced in May 2021 it would reinterpret the policy in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2020 decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, which declared that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibited discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in addition to biological sex. In his Friday decision, however, Kacsmaryk said the Biden administration’s interpretation of Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was erroneous, since the Bostock ruling “does not apply to Section 1557 or Title IX.”
The decision came after two Texas-based doctors represented by the conservative America First Legal Foundation filed a class action lawsuit challenging the Biden administration’s May 2021 interpretation of Section 1557. Dr. Susan Neese and Dr. James Hurly argued in the suit that the Biden administration’s transgender policy exceeded the scope of the law and would inhibit their ability to appropriately perform their medical duties and receive funding. In the suit, Dr. Neese expressed concern she would be barred from refusing to prescribe transgender hormone drugs to minors “in situations where a patient’s denial of biological realities will endanger their life or safety.”
Dr. Hurley shared that he “has encountered situations” in which he was forced to “insist that a patient acknowledge his biological sex rather than the gender identity that he asserts” in order to provide adequate treatment. In an example, he said he treated a man who suffered from prostate cancer but identified as a woman. Hurley told the man that “he was indeed a biological man with a prostate, and that he needed to seek urgent medical care." The Friday decision comes as conservatives have seemingly made gains in their fight against radical transgender ideology and its far-reaching impacts on healthcare, education, law, and the physical and emotional well-being of minors and adults.
