Christian leaders and celebrities are sharing their prayers for peace, hope, and "building bridges " after Donald Trump's re-election to the White House.  While much of the nation cheered for the president-elect, hundreds fell to their knees in prayer, not only to thank God for the results but also to pray that a more unified America would emerge. Actor and Christian Candace Cameron Bure posted an image of the American flag with the scripture Daniel 2:20-21 on it. Netanyahu says he and Trump see ‘eye to eye’ on Iran after holding 3 calls within days

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President-elect Donald Trump see “eye-to-eye” on the Iranian threat, the premier said in a video statement on Sunday, amid indications of an imminent Iranian response to Israel’s recent retaliatory strike.

Netanyahu also revealed that he and Trump had spoken three times since the latter’s American presidential election triumph last week.

The conversations “were designed to further tighten the strong alliance between Israel and the US,” said the premier. “We see eye-to-eye on the Iranian threat in all its components, and the danger posed by it. We also see the great opportunities before Israel, in the expansion of peace, and in other realms.”

Iran has vowed a “punishing” reprisal for unprecedented Israeli airstrikes against it on October 26, which Jerusalem said took out the Islamic Republic’s air defenses and missile production capabilities.

Israel’s strikes were in retaliation for Iran’s October 1 barrage of 200 ballistic missiles, which forced most of the country to take shelter and killed a Palestinian man in the West Bank. Days earlier, Israel killed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime head of Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah. Israel also killed Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas — another of Iran’s beneficiaries — in Tehran. Trump Completes Sweep of 7 Battleground States
Trump’s total Electoral College count moves to 312 to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 226.

President-elect Donald Trump has won Arizona, completing a sweep of the seven battleground states in the 2024 election.

The Associated Press called the race at 9:21 p.m. ET on Nov. 9. With this win, Trump’s total electoral college count moves to 312 to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 226.

Trump was projected to win the election on the morning of Nov. 6. Harris conceded the race later that day.

Arizona victory follows then-candidate Joe Biden’s upset win in the state in 2020, a 0.3-point squeaker that was the first time since Bill Clinton’s 1996 win that a Democratic presidential candidate had won the Grand Canyon State. In 2016, Trump won Arizona by 3.5 percentage points.

Polls presaged the former president’s Arizona win. The FiveThirtyEight poll aggregate had Trump leading by 2.2 percentage points on Nov. 4. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

How Barron Trump Masterminded Victory - Young Trump Literally Told Dad How to Win

One architect of President-elect Donald Trump’s successful strategy of attracting young men to his campaign was none other than his youngest son, Barron Trump.

PBS report noted that in lambasting Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump won 56 percent of young male voters to her 42 percent.

That margin was likely the result of a Trump campaign strategy to target those voters, who, according to Time, absorb their political views from “edgy bro podcasts and social media.”

The campaign decided to let Alex Bruesewitz, 27, suggest some podcasts for Trump, but Trump had an in-house expert have the final say.

“I have a list of podcasts I wanted to pitch you on,” Bruesewitz said.

“Have you talked this over with Barron?” Trump responded.

“No, sir,” Bruesewitz said.

“Call Barron and see what he thinks and let me know,” Trump said.

Barron Trump picked podcaster Adin Ross, which, as Time noted, “went viral, racking up millions of views on the livestream.”

Barron’s dad was never shy about dropping his son’s name, according to The Cut. “My son Barron says hello. He’s a great young guy, but he’s a big fan of yours,” Trump told Ross.

Trump also told Ross: “Barron says, ‘Dad he’s really big,’ he said. ‘He’s also a friend of mine.’”

The podcasts kept coming, to the point where Trump grabbed over 80 million views via those appearances.

As summed up by the Times, Trump “had sat for hours, at Barron’s urging, with all sorts of characters that he had almost certainly never heard of, fielding questions on whatever they were interested in, be it drugs, or fist fights or UFOs.”

Trump senior adviser Jason Miller summed up Barron Trump’s influence. “Barron has been very involved in selecting or recommending, I should say, a number of the podcasts that we should do,” Miller said. “Hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broken the internet,” he said. (WND) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that our new, President - Elect, Donald John Trump, has the humility to listen to his son (the next generation) for advice and counsel in winning this election. We too honor Barron Trump, and ask that You keep Your hand firmly upon Him as moves into the next season in his life. Amen.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Defense Minister Katz: Time is right to hit Iran - Jerusalem Post

Late Monday night, incoming Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the diplomatic, operational, and tactical situation for attacking Iran's nuclear program has never been as doable, realistic, and likely as it is now.

Katz noted how two previous Israeli strikes on Iran this year - which were actually counter-attacks following massive attacks by Tehran on the Jewish state on April 13-14 and October 1 - have made it clear how superior the Israeli Air Force is to even the most advanced aspects of the Islamic Republic's air defense systems.

"There is an opportunity to achieve the most important goal - to thwart and remove the threat of destruction hanging over the State of Israel...Today, there is a broad national and defense establishment consensus that we need to thwart the Iranian nuclear program, and there is an understanding that this is doable - not only on the security front, but also on the diplomatic front," said Katz. 2. Houthi missile triggers sirens in Jerusalem hills - JNS

A ballistic missile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia triggered sirens in the Judean Foothills and the Lachish region on Monday morning, including in Beit Shemesh, Adora, Tzora, Beit Guvrin, Sarigim, Karmei Tzur, Kfar Etzion and Kiryat Arba.

The missile was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

A fire in Beit Shemesh initially reported to have been caused by interception fragments was later said to be a case of arson.

Iran’s terror proxy in Yemen took responsibility for the ballistic missile launch, claiming to have targeted Nahal Sorek, an Israeli army base southwest of Jerusalem. (Read more)

3.  Netanyahu said mostly working from fortified basement at PMO since drone attack on his home - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is mostly working from a reinforced room on the basement level of the Prime Minister’s Office, rather than from his usual office on a higher floor, in accordance with instructions from security officials, a report said Sunday.

According to Channel 12 news, Netanyahu has told colleagues that he was instructed to use the better-protected basement-level room and to avoid being in known “permanent places,” due to ongoing concerns about drones and other attacks after a Hezbollah drone struck his home in Caesarea last month.

The explosive drone, launched from Lebanon on October 19 by the Hezbollah terror group, detonated at Netanyahu’s home when he was not present, and it smashed — though it did not penetrate — a bedroom window, causing minor damage. (Read more)

4. Hezbollah rockets wound several, damage property in 80-rocket barrage - Jerusalem Post

Around seven Israelis were wounded over the course of Monday, including several during an intense bombardment of around 90 rockets on the North by Hezbollah on Monday afternoon, pushing the total number of rockets fired by the Lebanese terror group to around 175 for the day.

Hezbollah’s approximately 90 rocket barrage targeted Haifa and its bayside suburbs, according to an IDF statement.

They later reported that the Israeli air force and artillery batteries targeted a rocket launcher from which rockets were launched toward several areas in northern Israel. The IDF said on X/Twitter that it will continue defending its civilians against "Hezbollah's aggression." (Read more

5. Sharp drop seen in reservist response rate due to burnout amid long war - Times of Israel

There has been a significant decline in the rate of reserve soldiers showing up for duty in recent weeks compared to the start of the war, The Times of Israel learned on Monday.

At the start of the war, the Israel Defense Forces reported that more than 100 percent of reservists called up for duty had shown up — nearly 300,000 reservists in total, marking the largest-ever call-up of reservists in Israel’s history.

In some units, the turnout rate reached 150%, with many reservists showing up for duty despite not receiving formal orders.

In recent weeks, the turnout rate in the reservist units currently fighting in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip has varied between 75% and 85%, according to defense sources. (Read more)

3. Amsterdam bans protests after 'antisemitic squads' attack Israeli soccer fans - Reuters

Amsterdam banned demonstrations for three days from Friday after overnight attacks on Israeli soccer supporters by what the mayor called "antisemitic hit-and-run squads", and Israel sent planes to the Netherlands to fly fans home.
Mayor Femke Halsema said Maccabi Tel Aviv fans had been "attacked, abused and pelted with fireworks" around the city, and that riot police intervened to protect them and escort them to hotels. At least five people were treated in hospital.

Videos on social media showed riot police in action, with some attackers shouting anti-Israeli slurs. Footage also showed Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters chanting anti-Arab slogans before Thursday evening's match.
"We saw a lot of demonstrations, a lot of people running. It was really, really terrifying," said Joni Pogrebetsy, an Israeli soccer fan in Amsterdam for the match.
Antisemitic incidents have surged in the Netherlands since Israel launched its assault on the Palestinian enclave of Gaza after the attacks on Israel by Hamas militants in October last year, with many Jewish organizations and schools reporting threats and hate mail. (Read more)

4. Gen Z Is Turning Online for Spiritual Guidance - Christianity Today

As faith increasingly declines in American culture, Gen Z is left with fewer resources or people to ask about identity, belonging, and purpose. So it is no surprise that we are turning to the internet.

I’m a Gen Zer, and I’m familiar with this inclination: I’d rather check my Target app to locate an item rather than bother an employee. Turning to the internet for answers may read as antisocial on the surface, but it is a reflection of both America’s highly autonomous culture and Gen Z’s copious internet usage.

And of course, this translates to church. With dwindling numbers of Gen Zers attending church, it’s unsurprising that young adults are flocking to virtual spaces rather than physical ones for answers to their big questions. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for creative ways to reach the Gen z population by ministering to their needs online. As they seek for answers through the internet, we pray that you meet them wherever they are.

5. Chris Pratt Urges Unity, ‘We Are Fellow Countrymen’ Beyond Election Results - Crosswalk.com

“I write this now because about half of the voting population is going to be incredibly disappointed on November 6th. But for me, the question is not, ‘Did your candidate win or lose?’ but rather, ‘Will you wake up the next morning and help an old lady move?’ It’s OK to take a moment to lick your wounds when you lose. Heck, go ahead and cry in the mirror. But if we become too paralyzed by defeat or too pompous in victory, allegiance to our ‘team’ can blind us to the fact that we are fellow countrymen.”

No matter who wins an election, he said, there will be “people who need help in this country.”

“Find them. Be of service,” he wrote. “America’s greatness is in the strength of our unified communities. It can be found in our places of worship, Elks clubs, Rotary clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Salvation Army, and in our service members. Our strength lies in our people who step across the political aisle not just with the handshake of a good sportsman, but a helping hand to anyone in need. So, be a good sport. We need you. Our country needs you. Team Red, Team Blue, and Team ‘Didn’t Even Vote,’ too. Your civic duty can be uniquely exercised on November 5th, but there is an even bigger civic duty required the next day: which is to accept the results and focus instead on showing up for each other.

“Check in with your neighbor -- especially if they voted for the other guy or girl,” Pratt added. “Ask how they’re doing. See how you can help. And while you’re at it, see if they know any old ladies who need help moving.” (Read more)

- Lord, thank You for this encouraging message. We pray that however we voted that we can truly come together and respect each other and be kind to one another.

- "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” (Ephesians 4:32)

6. Presidential election is making most Americans anxious, surveys say: Here are 6 tips to calm down - Fox News

With the presidential election just hours away, many Americans are feeling uncertain and anxious — but for many, the mental health impacts have been felt for weeks or even months.

Nearly 22% of the respondents reported that election coverage was having a negative effect on their mental health. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for these Americans who are stressed over the election. We pray Calm and Peace, in Jesus' name.

God’s Hand of Intervention

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 11, 2024

The struggle for freedom, godly and righteous freedom, is as old as humankind. In the beginning, God created a wonderful world, so much so that Genesis 1:31 ends with “And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” But then, like what we have seen in our own time, the corruption pries its way into the scene. Beginning with Adam and Eve, and God’s ordained order of creation, and then Cain and Able, two stories that end tragically—the first with paradise lost and the second, with the first murder and death on the earth. Humanity brings chaos to creation. This is the start of the struggle of humankind, where God’s creation teeters on the balance of man’s innate battle over God’s truth and liberty.

Next, we have two stories of Noah, the Flood and the Tower of Babel. Both are about human society and the struggle between freedom and order. The Flood is about a world of violence and lawlessness where “everyone doing what is right in their own eyes” corrupts God’s order. Babel is about a world where tyranny and the imposition of a single language on a people corrupts God’s perfect liberty for mankind. And God intervened in both. In all four narratives, God is eternal and universal, He created the universe, and humanity, made in His image. He blessed, and even made a covenant with them after the flood. This covenant called the Noachide Covenant, was made with Noah, his sons and all human descendants, and also with all the living creatures on earth. Read More

Emerging agreement: Hezbollah to retreat, Lebanese Army to dismantle terrorist infrastructure

israel Hayom learned today (Sunday) that the emerging ceasefire agreement in Lebanon will include the following principles:

Hezbollah will withdraw its forces north of the Litani River and will not renew its military presence in the area between the Litani and the border with Israel. The IDF will pull back from Hezbollah's current first line of positions in Lebanon, returning to the international border. The Lebanese army will dismantle Hezbollah's remaining infrastructure in the area between the border and the Litani within 60 days of signing the agreement.

The agreement will include international guarantees from the US and Russia to prevent Hezbollah from rearming in Lebanon. As part of this framework, Syria will be responsible for stopping any weapons transfers from its territory to Lebanon... In any instance of a violation of the agreement... the IDF will have the right to act in response...

Israel Hayom has also learned that Minister Ron Dermer will depart for Russia... and then to the US to finalize the remaining details of the agreement. Among other meetings, he is expected to meet with President-elect Donald Trump. (Read more)

Mayflower Compact

THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT

Composed by William Bradford

Adopted November 11, 1620

[This Compact, drawn up in the cabin of the Mayflower, was not a constitution, a document defining and limiting the functions of government. It was, however, the germ of popular government in America. Governor Bradford makes this reference to the circumstances under which the Compact was drawn up and signed:

"This day, before we came to harbour, observing some not well affected to unity and concord, but gave some appearance of faction, it was thought good there should be an association and agreement, that we should combine together in one body, and to submit to such government and governors as we should by common consent agree to make and choose, and set our hands to this that follows, word for word."]

In the name of God, Amen.

We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland king, defender of the faith, etc., having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our king and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God, and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony, unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.

In witness whereof we have hereunder subscribed our names at Cape-Cod the 11 of November, in the year of the reign of our sovereign lord, King James, of England, France, and Ireland the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth. Anno Domini 1620.

Trump Chooses GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik
As US Ambassador To UN

President-elect Donald Trump has picked Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik for the role of the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (UN).

Stefanik is one of the first appointments announced by Trump for his incoming administration since he won this year’s presidential election last Tuesday. Trump’s team told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement on Monday that he was excited to bring Stefanik into his administration for the key role, citing her “strong” qualities.

“I am honored to nominate Chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in my Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough, and smart America First fighter,” Trump said of Stefanik, according to a statement provided to the DCNF by spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.

Stefanik expressed that she was ready and willing to take the position, according to The New York Post.

“I am truly honored to earn President Trump’s nomination to serve in his Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations,” Stefanik told the Post. “During my conversation with President Trump, I shared how deeply humbled I am to accept his nomination and that I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate.”

Powerful New US-Indian Satellite Will Track Earth’s Changing Surface

Data from NISAR will improve our understanding of such phenomena as earthquakes, volcanoes, and landslides, as well as damage to infrastructure.

We don’t always notice it, but much of Earth’s surface is in constant motion. Scientists have used satellites and ground-based instruments to track land movement associated with volcanoes, earthquakes, landslides, and other phenomena. But a new satellite from NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) aims to improve what we know and, potentially, help us prepare for and recover from natural and human-caused disasters.

The NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) mission will measure the motion of nearly all of the planet’s land and ice-covered surfaces twice every 12 days. The pace of NISAR’s data collection will give researchers a fuller picture of how Earth’s surface changes over time. “This kind of regular observation allows us to look at how Earth’s surface moves across nearly the entire planet,” said Cathleen Jones, NISAR applications lead at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California.

Together with complementary measurements from other satellites and instruments, NISAR’s data will provide a more complete picture of how Earth’s surface moves horizontally and vertically. The information will be crucial to better understanding everything from the mechanics of Earth’s crust to which parts of the world are prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. It could even help resolve whether sections of a levee are damaged or if a hillside is starting to move in a landslide. Read More
