Illinois County Clerk Reports Cyber Attacks on Servers, Voters Asked to ‘Stay in Line’
Illinois County Clerk Reports Cyber Attacks on Servers, Voters Asked to ‘Stay in Line’

Authorities in Champaign County, Illinois, said Tuesday that a cyberattack is affecting server performance during the 2022 midterm elections.

The Champaign County Clerk’s Office said it is “is aware of connectivity issues and computer server performance being impacted. The Clerk’s Office believes these are due to cyber-attacks on the network and servers,” according to a statement posted on social media on Tuesday afternoon.

The office said its websites have been subject to distributed denial-of-service, or DDOS, attacks for the past month.

“Fortunately the reinforced security and response from the Clerk’s IT team has prevented these attacks from being successful and the Clerk’s website has remained secured,” it said. “No data or information has been compromised and the election is secure.”

Such “cyber-attacks are a strategic and coordinated effort to undermine and destabilize our democratic process. The intent is to discourage you from voting,” the office warned. “Please do not fall victim to this. The Clerk’s Office is committed to ensuring every eligible voter in Champaign County has access to a fair, free, and accessible election.”

Officials then called on voters to “please stay in line.”

“Election judges and staff are doing everything they can to process voters according to the requirements of election law while navigating these attacks. We appreciate your patience and commitment to our democratic process,” it said. “This is a developing situation, and we will have more information as it becomes available. Let me reiterate that we are committed to making sure every voter has a chance to cast their ballot so please stay in line. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

Here's Billy Graham's Timeless Answer When Asked if Voting is a "Waste of Time"
Here's Billy Graham's Timeless Answer When Asked if Voting is a "Waste of Time"

Q:

People keep urging me to vote but I think it's just a waste of time. I care what happens to our country and all that, but I don't think one vote makes any difference. And anyway, Jesus never said anything about voting, did He?

A:

Jesus didn’t live in a democracy; the people of His day couldn’t vote and they had no choice about who would rule them. Decades before Jesus’ birth, the Romans had invaded that part of the world and they maintained their power by brute force.

But Jesus did teach us to be good citizens, and to work for a better world. The people of His day couldn’t do much to change their world, but He said they should do whatever they could—and so should we. “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s,” Jesus told His listeners when they asked Him if they should pay their taxes (Mark 12:17). The Bible also tells us to pray for those who are involved in government, “that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (1 Timothy 2:2).

Let me ask you the same question I’ve asked others who say they aren’t going to the polls because their vote won’t matter: What would happen if everyone felt the way you do? You know the answer: In time, our democracy would come to an end. Don’t take our freedoms for granted, and don’t take our system of government lightly.

Ask God to guide you as you vote—and then make the effort to get to the polls during this election. And once the election is over, pray for those who have been elected, that they may seek God’s will for our nation—and do it. (BGEA) Read more

- Abba, thank You for the timeless wisdom of Billy Graham. May we never forget the
teachings of the champions of our faith as we move forward into this next generation. In Your Name, amen.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Outgoing defense minister: I expect Netanyahu to be ‘levelheaded’ about Iran strike - Times of Israel

Outgoing Defense Minister Benny Gantz said he expects Benjamin Netanyahu to be “levelheaded” about potentially launching strikes against Iran and its nuclear facilities.

In light of growing uncertainty regarding a return by Iran to the 2015 nuclear deal with world powers due to long-stalled negotiations, the past two years have seen the Israel Defense Forces ramp up its efforts to prepare a credible military threat against Tehran’s nuclear sites.

Speaking to military reporters Tuesday before he is set to be replaced in the coming weeks, Gantz said he thinks Netanyahu “will be levelheaded in this regard.” (Read more)

2. In ‘Hot Mic’ Incident, Herzog Tells Shas the Entire World is Anxious About Itamar Ben Gvir - Jewish Press

In what appeared to be a “hot mic” moment on Wednesday during talks between President Isaac Herzog and members of the Sephardic Shas party, Herzog was heard warning the lawmakers that “the entire world is anxious about” Otzma Yehudit Chair and MK Itamar Ben Gvir.

The Shas delegation, comprised of Michael Malkieli, Yoav Ben Tzur, Haim Biton and Yaacov Margi, recommended Herzog task Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu with formation of a new government.

Herzog, who clearly thought the mic was off, was heard saying, “There’s one issue I didn’t talk about because I don’t want to shame anyone. You’re going to have a problem with the Temple Mount.

“That’s a critical issue. You have a partner that the entire world around us, the entire world is anxious about,” Herzog went on, in a clear reference to Ben Gvir. (Read more)

The complex will include an embassy, offices, residences, parking and security structures. The buildings can be no more than 10 stories high, and the wall surrounding the area will be 3.5 meters high. (Read more)

4.  Terrorists open fire as 8 right-wing MKs visit Joseph's Tomb - Israel National News

Eight right-wing Israeli lawmakers from parties allied with Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu visited Joseph’s Tomb in the city of Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria before dawn Wednesday morning.

Likud MKs Idit Silman, Amichai Shikli, Boaz Bismuth, and Nissim Vaturi took part in the visit, along with Shas MK Yoni Meshriki; Otzma Yehudit MKs Almog Cohen and Limor Son Har-Melech; and Religious Zionist MK Ohed Tal.

The MKs were joined by dozens of other Jewish visitors, including Samaria Regional Council chief Yossi Dagan and deputy chief David Ben-Tzion. (Read more)

5. Lapid gov’t refuses to release court-ordered compensation to terror victims – report - World Israel News

Despite a court order, the Israeli government led by Yair Lapid is refusing to release half a billion shekels confiscated from the Palestinian Authority (PA) that are supposed to go victims of Arab terror, the lawyer who won the case charged Tuesday.

Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, founder and head of Shurat Hadin-Israel Law Center, wrote on Facebook that she had received a formal notice from the state saying that the money transfer will not take place as it is an issue for the incoming government to deal with.

“Are the rights of victims a political issue?” she asked rhetorically.

The notice, she wrote, means prolonging a delay that is already three years old. (Read more)

1. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Maloney concedes in historic House loss - Fox News

At a press conference, Maloney said he called Republican candidate Mike Lawler and congratulated him on a "good win" in New York's 17th Congressional District.

Maloney's loss is the first by a sitting House campaign committee chair since 1992, according to the Cook Political Report.
Maloney, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) chairman and member of Congress since 2012, sought re-election this fall in hopes of maintaining his seat in New York's 17th congressional district against Republican Mike Lawler

During an Oct. 12 debate, the two candidates sparred on issues ranging from the economy to abortion. Lawler attacked the Inflation Reduction Act — which Maloney voted for — and promised to vote to cut back on government spending. Meanwhile, Maloney doubled down on his support for the bill, citing its prescription drug price caps and Medicare provisions.

- Lord God we thank you so much for this historic win! The state of New York is in need of good strong leaders implementing strong values and policies to help rebuild the state. And we thank you for more wins like this in the future to rebuild this magnificent state!

- “Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.”

(Isaiah 61:4)

2. Ron DeSantis is the new Republican Party leader - Fox News

The biggest winner of the midterm elections was without a doubt Governor Ron DeSantis, whose landslide victory in the state of Florida was breathtaking.

DeSantis scored a win in Florida that was one for the record books. In Miami-Dade County, a region which President Joe Biden won by 16 percentage points in 2020, the popular governor won easily. Not only was the margin of victory astounding in itself, it also reinforced an emerging reality: Hispanic voters may be shifting their long-term alliance to Republicans.

DeSantis won because he embraced Trumpian policies, stood firm against the woke mob, led his state through the pandemic with brilliance and, more recently, managed the horrific damage done by Hurricane Ian with great competence. Florida residents rewarded the popular governor by re-electing him with roughly a 19-point margin over his opponent, Democrat Charlie Crist. (Read more)

- Lord God. we praise and worship you for strong leaders like DeSantis who are willing to stand in the gap as a shining beacon of hope for our country and our citizens to look to. We pray for this man that he will never compromise; that he will stand on truth no matter what the cultural trends may be. We pray the covering of Jesus over Governor DeSantis. We ask You, dear Lord, to protect him and his family and his employees from all harm and all evil, in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

- “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn…” (Isaiah 60:1-3)

3. Democrat Josh Shapiro wins Pennsylvania governor’s race - The Hill

Polls consistently showed Shapiro leading, often by double digits, throughout much of the general election race, and he held on to win and keep the governorship in Democratic control. The race served as a stark contrast with the state’s Senate race between Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) and celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz (R), which polls showed as being consistently closer.

Shapiro’s victory will be seen as key to keeping abortion legal in Pennsylvania, as Republicans in the state legislature have backed restricting it and Mastriano sponsored a bill that would ban the procedure after six weeks of pregnancy. (Read more)

- Lord God, we lift Pennsylvania up to you and we lift Josh Shapiro up to you right now that he would turn to you and choose to follow you and choose to stand up for justice and righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus. We cover Pennsylvania in the blood of Jesus that they would vote for life and adjust their values to reflect who You are, Lord. Jesus, in your name, amen.

- “Thus says the Lord,
“Preserve justice and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come
And My righteousness to be revealed.”

(Isaiah 56:1)

4. Democrat John Fetterman defeats Trump-backed GOP rival Dr. Mehmet Oz in pivotal Pennsylvania Senate race - CNBC News

Pennsylvania’s Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman will defeat Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in a pivotal Senate race that could prove a decisive blow in the battle for control of the upper chamber of Congress, NBC News projects. With 90% of the vote counted, Fetterman led Oz 49.4% to 48.1%, a margin of about 66,000 votes, according to NBC.

Fetterman will succeed retiring GOP Sen. Pat Toomey, moving a Republican-held Senate seat into Democratic hands. The projected verdict deals another blow to Trump, who backed Oz in a hard-fought GOP primary election and campaigned for him in the general.

Before midnight on Tuesday, Oz told a crowd of his supporters that “when all the ballots are counted, we believe we will win this race.” A spokeswoman for Oz did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment on NBC’s projection. (Read more)

- Lord God, we choose to be obedient to Your Word and pray for all those in authority, even if they are people we voted for or not. All of our newly elected representatives will be serving us and making decisions for us and so we pray for wisdom and strength for every single one, that they would make the best decisions for the people they vowed to serve. In Jesus name amen.

- “…a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

5. Race for Arizona governor tightens as Kari Lake trails Katie Hobbs - MSN News

With 66% of votes in, Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs leads with 50.33% of the vote as Republican candidate Kari Lake trails closely with 49.67%. The winner will become the state’s fifth female governor.
“It’s very early,” Lake said Tuesday night at Arizona Republicans’ election night party. “We are going to win this.”

Hobbs, a former state lawmaker who’s served as secretary of state since 2019, said in a statement Tuesday night, “We must all be patient and wait for every last vote to be counted.”

The race could head into an automatic government-mandated recount if the results are within a half of a percent. State lawmakers changed the threshold for triggering an automatic recount following then-candidate Joe Biden’s narrow 2020 win. Biden became the first Democratic presidential candidate to win the state since 1996 with about 10,000 more votes than then-President Donald Trump. (Read more)

- In the name of Jesus we plead the blood of Jesus over this race, the counting, and the voting machines, that any plot scheme or plan of the enemy cease and desist right now. We declare that this election will be fair and that the rightful Governor will win fair and square in Jesus name amen.

- “A just balance and scales belong to the Lord; All the weights of the bag are His concern.” (Proverbs 16:11)

6. Voters Pass Constitutional Amendment Forcing Crime-Ridden Dem City To Increase Police Spending - The Daily Caller

Missouri voters approved a constitutional amendment Tuesday requiring Kansas City to increase spending on its state-controlled police department, according to The Associated Press.

The amendment effectively raises the amount of general revenue the city must use for police from 20% to 25%, the outlet reported. The Missouri General Assembly passed legislation earlier in the year to make that change, and the constitutional amendment was designed to ensure that the legislation not run afoul of the unfunded mandate provision in the state’s constitution.

Kansas City leaders like Democratic Mayor Quinton Lucas had tried and failed in 2021 to allocate part of the department’s budget to social service and crime prevention programs, according to the AP. (Read more)

- Lord God, we thank you for citizens with the tenacity to stand up for their beliefs and their values to protect the lives of those around them and their families with this amendment. We pray Lord that you would inspire others in different cities and states to continue to stand up for what is right and make a change in their local communities in Jesus' name amen.
- “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” (Colossians 1:28-29)

7. Voters support abortion rights in all five states with ballot measures - The Hill

Voters in California, Vermont and Michigan on Tuesday approved ballot measures enshrining abortion rights into their state constitutions, while those in the traditionally red states of Montana and Kentucky rejected measures that would have restricted access to reproductive care.
The votes signal support for abortion rights after the Supreme Court in June overturned the landmark 1973 case Roe v. Wade and the constitutional right to the procedure.

In August, Kansas voters also rejected a ballot measure that would have given the state legislature the authority to restrict abortion access through a state constitutional amendment.

The ballot votes came amid high-profile Senate and House races, with some candidates running for office across the nation with hard-line views on abortion access. Already in post-Roe America, about half of all states have moved to restrict abortion access, even as polls show most Americans approve of the right to abortion. (Read more)

- Lord, forgive us for not using our vote to protect life. We grieve that these important ballot measures will further devalue the sanctity of life in our culture. Father, while this news may feel hopeless, we trust that You are sovereign over all. We pray for continued courage and resolve to keep fighting for the innocent, to not give up as too much is at stake. We stand on Your Word and we will continue to proclaim Your truth.

- ‘Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.’ (Matthew 18:6)

8. Deadlocked Walker-Warnock race goes to runoff, Georgia Sec. of State Raffensperger announces - Just The News

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday afternoon that the Senate race between Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock and GOP challenger Herschel Walker will go to a runoff.

With 98% of the vote in by noon Wednesday. Warnock had 49.4% of the vote, compared to 48.5% for Walker. The remaining 2.1% of the vote has gone to Libertarian nominee Chase Oliver.

"I ask the voters to come out and vote one last time," Raffensperger said at a press conference in Atlanta. Neither Walker or Warnock could get over 50% of the vote, triggering a runoff under state law. The runoff will be held Dec. 6. (Read more)

- Lord God, we plead the blood of Jesus over the state of Georgia. and we pray over all the citizens of Georgia that they would vote according to bibilical values in this runoff election. We pray, Lord, that your Spirit would encourage the people of Georgia to elect a strong courageous leader, with good morals and values, to represent their state in the United States Senate. We bind all hindering spirits that are trying to come against this  election on December 6th, and we command them to cease and desist in Jesus name, Amen.

- “Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you.” (Deuteronomy 1:13)

9. Veterans Day is not always easy for our heroes — here's what to say and do - Fox News

Most of America's service members do not seek the spotlight. To do so would seem incongruous with their initial motivations for raising their hand, their reasons for sticking out the tough times and their means of transitioning back to civilian life.
These men and women chose to join the military — not for money or fame, but for ancient virtues like honor, duty and sacrifice.

They did it because they love serving their country, not because they love receiving attention for it. How do Americans show their appreciation for a past that is often undiscussed? How do Americans thank the ones they love without pushing the veterans away further?

One idea is to send their veterans this note from a woman in Florida — or some version of it. Or perhaps at least read it to gain a new understanding of America's veterans and how to honor them.
Here it is. “see you. I respect you. I value your service.” (Read more)

- Lord we pray that more Americans would come to understand the true magnitude of the sacrifce given by these heroes. We pray that every veteran of our nation’s armed forces would know they are truly and appropriately honored by the attention and appreciation of their fellow citizens. And we pray, God, for your continued protection and blessing on their lives, in Your name, amen and amen.

- “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Undiscerning American Voters

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 9, 2022

The election was no red tidal wave. More like a tidal pool. Pundits will be dissecting the “why” for weeks, maybe months, to come. In reality, they will be discussing the strategy of this party or that candidate, but the real cause for whoever gets into office or stays in office comes down to one common denominator—the American voter. Exit polls on Tuesday’s election indicated that almost three-quarters of voters were dissatisfied, even angry, about the direction of the country. Well over half were also concerned about the Supreme Court abortion decision. Like two trains coming at one another on the same track from opposite directions, these “feelings” collided on election day. And things didn’t change much.

This has been one of the worst Administrations in history. There were Democratic governors that no one thought would be re-elected. There were states that re-elected congressmen and senators that appeared not to have a chance. When I was in politics, we learned that voters may be very angry, but they are angry at the other congressmen or politicians because they believe their representative is doing well. Even though we know that a definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. Certainly, with the news media and corporate involvement in the elections—just the headlines alone—undiscerning voters’ perception of reality can be altered to the point that they cannot make a decision to even save themselves. It’s called ideological subversion and its alive and well in American society. Read More

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson Defeats Democratic Challenger In Wisconsin, Winning Crucial Seat For GOP
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson Defeats Democratic Challenger In Wisconsin, Winning Crucial Seat For GOP

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin staved off Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes to secure a third term as U.S. senator in the key swing state, according to multiple forecasters Wednesday morning, winning the GOP a crucial Senate seat in the hotly-contested midterms.

The incumbent Republican won the razor-thin race with 50.5% of the vote compared to his challengers’ share of 49.3%, with 94% of expected votes counted, according to NBC News. The same margin was reported by CNN.

Johnson was the only incumbent Republican up for re-election in a state that Joe Biden narrowly won by roughly 20,000 votes in the 2020 presidential election, making him a prime target for Democrats in their bid to gain control of the Senate, the Associated Press reported. Prior to the election, Johnson held a 2 point lead over Barnes, with 50% of likely voters supporting his bid, according to a Marquette University Law School survey of 802 Wisconsin voters conducted between Oct. 24 and Nov. 1. - We thank you, Father God, that the citizens of the State of Wisconsin have now voted to allow Senator Ron Johnson to return to the Senate in its next session. Eerie images of Tuesday's total lunar eclipse
Photographers around the world captured stunning images of the "Blood Moon" eclipse, the final total lunar eclipse until 2025.

The moon turned red Tuesday as the sun, Earth and moon aligned to create the final total lunar eclipse until 2025.

Sometimes referred to as a "Blood Moon" due to its color, the red-shaded moon was able to be seen across all of North America and parts of South America, eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Photographers around the world pointed their cameras skyward to document the eerie phenomenon, at least where clouds did not obscure the sky.

The color the moon appears during the height of a total lunar eclipse is related to Earth's atmosphere, not changes on the surface of the moon during an astronomical alignment.

"During a lunar eclipse, the moon turns red because the only sunlight reaching the moon passes through Earth’s atmosphere," NASA explained. "The more dust or clouds in Earth’s atmosphere during the eclipse, the redder the moon will appear. It’s as if all the world’s sunrises and sunsets are projected onto the moon." Read More

Faith In Action—Pastor Walks the Walk to Bring Change to Community

In large population centers across the United States, people are suffering from poverty, poor education, violence and crime. Enter the pastor. The shepherd of Jesus' flock on earth. He is tasked with leading His people by example, teaching them the Word and being above reproach in the Christian walk. While many a Christian pastor has faltered in their role as spiritual leader of a church, many more continue in faith and endure hardships to bring about victories for the kingdom of God. Thankfully the world has pastors like Corey Brooks, a man who lives out James 2:14-26 by acting out his faith to make a positive, lasting change in the sphere of his responsibility. As founder and senior pastor at New Beginnings Church in Chicago, Brooks has answered the call God placed on his life to reach out to those living in one of Chicago's most dangerous neighborhoods.

His plan to do something drastic and unique, to catch the eyes of those who are unaware of the troubles the people under his charge are going through, has captured the attention of the nation. Pastor Brooks chose to raise awareness by staying on the roof of his building since Nov. 20, 2021, enduring the harsh Chicago weather and building relationships with anyone who would stop by. His ultimate purpose was to obtain funding to combat the rampant drugs, prostitution and violence plaguing his community by raising awareness of the seriousness of the problems the people in his neighborhood were facing. According to his website, Pastor Brooks has, "fully invested in the community of Woodlawn on Chicago's South Side. He and his wife are spearheading a community initiative called Project H.O.O.D. to revitalize the neighborhood. Through it, they are raising up a new generation of peacemakers, problem solvers, and entrepreneurs."

Though short the $35 million needed for completion of their new community center, the Lord has blessed Pastor Brooks' actions by bringing in $20 million and sharing his story across the world. With Pastor Brooks' chapter on his rooftop coming to an end, he looks forward to what the Lord will do in the next season of building and investing into the community he has sacrificed so much for: "We decided we wanted to go forward because it's the perfect time," Brooks says. "People really need the assistance. We really need the help. And we really want to see transformation take place. There's no better time than right now," Brooks declared. (Charisma) Read More
- Lord, we invite Your presence into the City of Chicago, and many other cities throughout this nation, that need Your HOPE. Bless Pastor Brooks for being obedient to the calling of building a Community Center to train people in work and life skills. We thank You for the example of loving our neighbor. May additional centers be built across America to bring lasting transformation among communities. In Jesus name-Amen

- "The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:31)
One More Thank You!
Dear Friends,

Once again, we want to thank the HUNDREDS of you who have sent wonderful expressions of sympathy at the news of the recent passing of my husband, Jim. We are trying to respond to each note, but this will take us some time . . . so please know how deeply we do appreciate your kindness to us.

We especially wish to thank Dave Kubal, President and CEO of Intercessors for America; and Jane Hanson, President of Aglow International, for their own very kind words of condolence to me and to my two sons, Jimmy and David.

We know that it is written that "our unity commands the blessing," so we are most grateful that, at this difficult time, blessings are flowing among all of us.

In His Amazing Grace, and grateful for each one of you,

Sara Ballenger

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.

3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore."

Marching to Zion

Words: Isaac Watts
Music: Robert Lowry

Scripture: Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion. Jeremiah 31:6

Lyrics:
Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
Join in a song with sweet accord
And thus surround the throne,
And thus surround the throne.

Refrain
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.

The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place;
Religion never was designed
Religion never was designed,
To make our pleasures less,
To make our pleasures less.

Refrain

Let those refuse to sing,
Who never knew our God;
But favorites of the heavenly King,
But favorites of the heavenly King
May speak their joys abroad,
May speak their joys abroad.

Refrain

The God that rules on high,
And thunders when He please,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
And manages the seas,
And manages the seas.

Refrain

This awful God is ours,
Our Father and our Love;
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
To carry us above,
To carry us above.

Refrain

There we shall see His face,
And never, never sin!
There, from the rivers of His grace,
There, from the rivers of His grace,
Drink endless pleasures in,
Drink endless pleasures in.

Refrain

Yea, and before we rise,
To that immortal state,
The thoughts of such amazing bliss,
The thoughts of such amazing bliss,
Should constant joys create,
Should constant joys create.

Refrain

The men of grace have found,
Glory begun below.
Celestial fruits on earthly ground
Celestial fruits on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow,
From faith and hope may grow.

Refrain

The hill of Zion yields
A thousand sacred sweets
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Or walk the golden streets,
Or walk the golden streets.

Refrain

Then let our songs abound,

To fairer worlds on high.
