Luke Combs and Eric Church raise over $24.5 million for hurricane victims at star-studded Concert for Carolina
|

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Luke Combs and Eric Church led the star-studded Concert for Carolina on Saturday, which raised over $24.5 million for relief efforts in the Carolina region following the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Attended by over 82,000 concert-goers, the event featured performances by James Taylor, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, Bailey Zimmerman, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, The Avett Brothers and Parmalee as well as surprise appearances by Nicole Kidman and Randy Travis. Hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley, the benefit show – organized by Combs and Church in less than a month – took place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Eric Church performed numerous times throughout the night, and also made a major announcement in a video that was played on the stadium's screen.
The country star, who hails from Granite Falls, N.C., revealed that Chief Cares has a plan to build 100 houses for North Carolinians whose homes have been devastated by the hurricane. "I come from the mountains of North Carolina," Church said in the video message. "It's what made me. It's my home. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for the people there and the influence they had on me. I wouldn't make the music that I make if it weren't for the people there and the influence they had on me." He continued, "When Hurricane Helene happened, it devastated those communities. These are hard-working, poor communities that rely on each other. And any time a community needs help, it's always the community next door that comes running in to help. And there are no communities next door. They've all been devastated. So we made it our mission at Chief Cares that we're going to be the community next door," Church explained. "We've come up with a plan called Blueprint for the Blue Ridge. Israeli intelligence suggests Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, possibly before the US presidential election on Nov. 5, Axios reported on Thursday, citing two unidentified Israeli sources.
According to the report, Khamenei's decision came after an examination of the scope of the damage sustained by Iran's missile production infrastructure and air defense systems as a result of Israel's retaliatory strike last week. (Read more)

2. Knesset Advances Bill Curbing Palestinian Authority’s Access to Israeli High Court Amid Terror Funding Controversy - Jewish Press
Amid a controversy over Ramallah’s “pay for slay” stipends, Knesset lawmakers advanced legislation aimed at barring the Palestinian Authority from filing legal petitions at Israel’s High Court of Justice on Tuesday.
The bill strips entities that transfer funds associated with terror — including the Palestinian Authority’s stipends to imprisoned terrorists and their families — from approaching the High Court.
According to the legislation’s explanatory notes, “The purpose of the bill is to correct an anomaly according to which elements hostile to the State of Israel, including those who work directly and in a declared manner to harm its citizens through acts of terrorism, are considered to have the right to stand before the High Court when they come to petition against the policies of the Israeli government.” (Read more)

3. Saudi-Israel normalization 'off table' until Palestinian statehood, FM says - Al Monitor
Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister said Thursday that normalization with Israel is "off the table" until there is a "resolution to Palestinian statehood" and clarified that there is no ambiguity in Saudi policy on the conflict in Gaza.
“I would say certainly normalization with [Israel] is not just at risk. It is off the table until we have a resolution to Palestinian statehood,” Prince Faisal bin Farhan told the Future Investment Initiative forum in Riyadh.
“I would say that it is not just the issue of normalization with the kingdom that is at risk; I would say that the security of the region as a whole is at risk if we do not address the rights of the Palestinians,” he added.
He also urged the Israeli government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “do the moral thing” by guaranteeing Palestinians “their rights and their state.” (Read more)

4. Hezbollah Rockets Kill 7 as US Officials Meet Israeli Counterparts in Jerusalem to Discuss Truce Deal - Algemeiner
Senior US officials Amos Hochstein and Brett McGurk arrived in Israel on Thursday to discuss a proposed agreement to de-escalate hostilities with the Hezbollah terrorist group which, according to a leaked draft, would have Israel withdraw from southern Lebanon within a week of signing.
The eight-page draft, which was exposed by Israel’s Kan public broadcaster, stipulated that Israel would retain the right to conduct targeted strikes against imminent threats for a 60-day period. The agreement also outlined the deployment of the Lebanese Army, alongside UNIFIL, the UN’s peacekeeping force in Lebanon, in dismantling Hezbollah’s military infrastructure and blocking unauthorized weapons and ammunition from entering the country.
Throughout the day, US Special Envoy Hochstein and McGurk, who is President Joe Biden’s Middle East adviser, held meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Shin Bet Director Ronan Bar, Mossad Director David Barnea, and other senior Israeli officials.
The meetings came amid ongoing rocket barrages from Iran-backed Hezbollah into northern Israel which killed seven people and wounded several more. One incident in Metula, which is largely evacuated due to the conflict, killed farmer Omer Weinstein and four of his foreign workers. Residents of Eilat reported hearing explosions in the area early Friday morning, with no warning sirens having been sounded beforehand
The City of Eilat stated that "security forces in the area report a successful interception of an aerial target that did not cross Israeli territory, therefore no siren was activated."
Later, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed that two UAVs that approached Israeli territory from the east were intercepted by the IAF in the Red Sea area.

This comes out to 125,428 extra votes that were cast and counted in Michigan.
This follows an incident in September 2024 in Michigan, when we reported that data expert Tim Vetter, along with Phani Mantravadi of Check My Vote, identified 6,126 duplicate votes on the August primary voter rolls.
Later, 6,017 of these duplicate votes curiously disappeared from the voter rolls after our reporting, while 109 duplicate votes remained in the October vote history.
According to election experts, the suspicious disappearing ballots point directly to the Secretary of State’s office.
Phani Mantravadi, revealed a bombshell revelation to The Gateway Pundit that they discovered by tracking the Daily Absentee Voter Reports.
According to the Daily Absentee Voter Reports obtained by FOIA from the MI Bureau of Elections, on October 28, 2024, Tim Vetter and Phani Mantravadi, who have peer-reviewed each other’s work, claim 208,075 votes were cast in Michigan by 82,647 voters (based on their voter ID’s).

Kamala Harris agreeing with a pro-terrorist student during her October 17 speech at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is the first time a presidential candidate has publicly acknowledged that they believe Israel is committing genocide of Arab children. The belief is patently false and is a further projection that the leader of the Democratic Party, while saying out of one side of her mouth that Israel has the right to defend itself, but believes that Israel is committing genocide. This is disgraceful. Coupled with the Biden-Harris Administration leaking Israel’s attack plans for Iran, and the giving of over a billion dollars in US aid to Hamas since October 7, 2023, the makings of a perfect storm exist.
There is no more of a genocidal intent than Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Authority, Iran chant of “from the river to the sea.” This means that these Islamic forces and their supporters want every Jew destroyed and Israel eliminated from the face of the earth. Those who are supporting Hamas and those who elected Hamas against Israel are supporting terrorism. Moreover, they are favoring the genocide of Israel. That Kamala Harris would remotely agree with such a terrorist supporter should send chills down the spine of every freedom-loving, God-loving person on earth. Former President Donald Trump spoke to the press from the passenger seat of a garbage truck in Wisconsin on Wednesday—a reference to President Joe Biden’s comments many have taken as calling Trump supporters “garbage.”
The Republican nominee stepped off his private airplane and took a ride in a truck emblazoned with Trump campaign messaging and American flags.
“How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” Trump said to reporters from the passenger seat.
The former president later took to the stage at a campaign rally in Ashwaubenon wearing an orange safety vest.

Final Poll Flips to Donald Trump in Four-Point Swing From Kamala Harris

Donald Trump has overtaken Kamala Harris in the final DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners national poll before Election Day, with a three-point lead over the vice president.
The poll, released Thursday, showed Trump with 49 percent support among likely voters, while Harris had 46 percent, marking a four-point swing since last month, when Harris led by one point.
The survey of 1,000 likely voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points, recorded a shift toward Trump among independents and undecideds.
Both candidates have solidified their bases, but Trump has fared better with last-minute gains from undecided voters, the poll suggested.
"The movement under the surface suggests Trump is having a better closing moment," said James Johnson, cofounder of J.L. Partners. Johnson added that independents and third-party voters had trended toward Trump in recent weeks, giving him a late boost in the race. (Read more)

3 areas being tracked in Atlantic as hurricane season enters final month Friday
|

Another named storm is not out of the question as the final month of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season begins Friday, and the National Hurricane Center is tracking three areas for potential development.
Nov. 30 marks the end of the Atlantic hurricane season, and that can't come soon enough. In the meantime, there are three areas worth watching as we count down the days.
The area with the most chance of development over the next week is in the southwestern Caribbean Sea. The NHC said some gradual development is possible over the next two days, and a tropical depression could form over the weekend or early next week as the area of low pressure moves in a northern-northwestern direction. As of the latest advisory, the NHC is giving this area a medium chance of development in the next week.
The next name on the 2024 Atlantic list is Patty.
The NHC said even without becoming a cyclone, the system will bring locally heavy rains across parts of Central America.
The NHC is also monitoring an area of low pressure in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, but this system has a low chance of developing over the next week. It's likely to become absorbed in the first area to watch in the southwest Caribbean Sea.

November touts 3 meteor showers,
final supermoon of 2024

|
November will bring plenty to see in the night sky, including meteor showers rich with fireballs and a celestial alignment with the moon.
November's long nights will be teeming with astronomical activity, including multiple meteor showers and several events centered around the moon. So be sure to mark down these events on your calendar as the new month gets underway.
3 meteor showers
A trio of meteor showers will sparkle in the November sky, offering numerous opportunities for stargazers to spot shooting stars.
The first two meteor showers, the Southern Taurids and Northern Taurids, will peak during the first two weeks of the month. Unlike most meteor showers with brief peaks of one or two nights, these two are extended, making any night in the first half of the month with clear skies ideal for viewing.
Together, they will produce around 5 meteors per hour, with the possibility of exceptionally bright meteors known as fireballs, according to the American Meteor Society.
Final supermoon of 2024
The last supermoon of the year will rise on Friday, Nov. 15, appearing slightly bigger and brighter than normal. Read More
