Report: US holding up sale of thousands of precision weapons to Israel
|
|
The Biden administration is effectively delaying the delivery of up to 6,500 Joint Direct Attack Munitions, according to The Wall Street Journal.
|
|
The Biden administration has held up the delivery of thousands of precision weapons to Israel amid the Jewish state’s war against Hamas in Gaza, which entered a new phase overnight Monday as Israeli forces began to push into Rafah city.
According to a Wall Street Journal report on Monday, citing officials familiar with the deal, at issue is the sale of up to 6,500 Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs)—a guidance kit that converts “dumb bombs” into “smart” precision-guided munitions.
The weapons shipments are being held up to send a political message, a separate report by Politico cited a U.S. official as saying on Tuesday.
Congress was first informed of the proposed sale, worth some $269 million, in January. However, since then, the Biden administration has not moved forward with the deal.
White House National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby on Monday declined to comment on whether any arms sales had been postponed, telling reporters at the White House press briefing that “our security commitments to Israel are ironclad.”
The State Department must notify Congress of an arms sale to a foreign country when the sale’s dollar amount rises above a certain level, but the administration never followed up with the official notification of the JDAMs sale, the Journal reported. This caused “an effective pause” in the deal, current and former U.S. officials said.
“It’s unusual, especially for Israel, especially during a war,” a congressional official familiar with the arms sales process told the Journal.
The reason for the delay is unknown, but the Biden administration opposes a full-scale invasion of Rafah, citing humanitarian concerns. (JNS.org) Read more here.

- Abba, our hearts are grieved and we know Yours is too by the Biden regime withholding munitions from our ally, Israel, for any reason, but a political one is outrageous when soldiers are dying! Your word tells us that You bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse them. Right now, Father God, it feels like your hand of protection has been lifted off of our nation when we see the very high numbers of tornadoes and their massive destruction across our country. . We ask you to have mercy on those whose lives have been devastated by these tornadoes, in Jesus' name. Your word tells us to pray that You have mercy in the midst of judgement, so we do. Jesus, we ask you to again cover our land with your mighty hand of protection as we repent for our governments pride and arrogance in ignoring your word and not honoring their agreement with Israel. We ask You to hold accountable those in this administration who made the decision in Jesus' name.. Give them an understanding of exactly what they have done by turning their backs on Israel at a critical juncture of their war with Hamas, and we ask you to forgive them, in Jesus' name.
- "Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your
deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time
make them known; in wrath remember mercy."

A somber Israel marks Holocaust Remembrance Day
|
|
Oct. 7 was not a Shoah because we have the Israel Defense Forces, says Netanyahu.
|
|
Israelis marked Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah) on Monday, the first since the attack of Oct. 7, the largest single-day massacre of Jews since the Shoah.
The ceremonies began Sunday night and continued on Monday morning with the traditional nationwide siren blast, starting at 10 a.m. and lasting for two minutes. Israelis customarily stand still, including cars stopping on the road, to honor the memory of the 6 million Jews slain by the Nazis and their helpers.
The siren was activated by Holocaust survivor Malkah Herman, 92, and her grandson Maor, an officer in the Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command, the military announced.
“During this period, when we are witnessing many threats to the State of Israel and the Jewish people, I was given the privilege to take part in commemorating the memory and heroism of our brothers and sisters who were murdered in the Holocaust,” Herman said in a statement.
“Being here alongside my grandson brings me huge excitement and reminds me of the road I went through to get here and gives me pride in the family I founded—thanks to, and despite everything,” she added. (JNS.org) Read more.

|
- Abba, it is such a joy to see pictures of Israelis, who when they hear the siren, stop their cars wherever they are and stand up to give honor to those who died in the holocaust. Much has changed in Your land but not the understanding of what their families lived through just for being Jewish. Sadly, the enemy is once again attacking your people, not just in Israel but around the world. The attack in October was another sobering reminder of how hate can twist people's minds and hearts, allowing them to play "god" over others lives. Jesus,we know this is NOT your heart for your people. We ask for Your hand of protection over Your land and Your people. Pour into those who hate and speak against your nation an awareness of who You are and instill in their hearts a holy fear of You. Give them a reason to "change their minds and their actions" toward all Israelis. We ask this in the name Jehovah Sabaoth, The Host of Heaven's Armies.
- "May all who hate Zion be turned
back in shame."

The Giant UN Agency Hijacked by Hamas: Asaf Romirowsky (Video)
|
|
“As long as the world can believe that Palestinians are refugees in perpetuity and are stateless in perpetuity because of a so-called colonial empire that has been thrust upon them by the Jews, then they have the sympathy of the world. And that has been their success story.”
Following Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, many of us became aware, for the first time, of UNRWA, the United Nations agency serving Palestinian refugees. It receives hundreds of millions of dollars from the United States every year.
“UNRWA has basically transformed itself into an advocacy organization for the Palestinian people—what I would consider to be a case study of where the client has hijacked the service provider. So, where you have an entire apparatus of an agency, but that has the imprimatur of the United Nations, and so gives the illusion of neutrality, integrity, and whatnot,” says Asaf Romirowsky, a Middle East historian and co-author of “Religion, Politics, and the Origins of Palestine Refugee Relief.”
Established in 1949, UNRWA was supposed to be a temporary organization. So how did it become one of the largest and costliest U.N. agencies? And how is it that the number of Palestinian refugees has ballooned sevenfold, according to UNRWA, when virtually all other refugees established after World War II have been resettled?
To find out, I sat down with Mr. Romirowsky, executive director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East.
“UNRWA has been proven to be exactly synonymous to Hamas. The fact that they had Hamas servers under their headquarters, the fact that they had individuals who were part of the perpetrators of the attacks on October 7—UNRWA is no longer a legitimate organization. They have never been to my mind. ... It’s an obstacle to peace, rather than a solution to peace,” says Mr. Romirowsky.
“I think that there’s a disconnect—and this has always been something we’ve observed here and in Europe about the reality on the ground and what it takes to create peace. I think peace is a goal and should be the goal. But ... there has to be mutual recognition. ... There has been a refusal to accept Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.”

- Abba, we give you praise and thanks that Mr. Romirowsky has brought into the open what the UN Relief and Works Agency actually is. We ask You to move on the hearts of the UN Ambassador's, give them wisdom and understanding of the damage this group is doing and has done to Israel. We ask for nations in the UN to come into agreement and put forth a motion to defund the UNRWA after what has been discovered about their actions in support of Hamas and their participation in the October 7 massacre. We ask that all those who have been leading this group as it supported Hamas, be fired and prosecuted for their part in the deaths of Israelis. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, that God who has ultimate power over all things.
- "For whatever is hidden is meant to be
disclosed, and whatever is concealed
is meant to be brought out into the open."

Judge Denies Trump Lawyer’s Motion for Mistrial in ‘Hush-Money’ Case
|
|
A lawyer for former President Donald Trump said his team is moving for a mistrial in the “hush-money” case based on testimony delivered by witness Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, on Tuesday, arguing that her comments were unjustly prejudicial. However, the judge in the case denied their attempts.
In the Manhattan court, Trump lawyer Todd Blanche said that Ms. Clifford’s claims about her encounter and alleged affair with President Trump in 2006 is different than the claims she made in previous years. Her testimony, he added, has nothing to do with the case—where President Trump is accused of falsifying business records—and that her comments are designed to prejudice the jury.
“What’s the jury to do with that?” he said, referring to her comments. “It’s still extraordinarily prejudicial to insert safety ... concerns into a trial about business records.”
“Judge, I don’t think anybody can listen to what that witness said and think that has anything to do with the charged offense, and it’s the type of testimony that is so prejudicial that you run the risk of the jury not being able to focus on the evidence that does matter,” Mr. Blanche argued. - Abba, President Trump needs Your help. Judge Merchan, has again, allowed his bias to rule against President Trump's request for a mistrial. He even agreed that some of the questions asked by the prosecutors were inappropriate, but that was not enough to cause a mistrial. Father God, our Judicial System in America has been invaded by "WOKE" judges, those who make decisions not based on facts but on what is best for their political agenda,. Sadly we have reached a place where truth need not be presented! Jesus, we need You! We ask for all judges to be brought into an encounter with You. Show them your heart and how much you love them, show them the damage they have done to the fabric of our society, show them Your plans for America. We ask this in the name Jehovah Rapha, The Lord Who Heals.
- "Our courts oppose the righteous,
and justice is nowhere to be found.
truth stumbles in the streets,
and honesty has been outlawed."

3. Israel warns U.S. that weapons pause could sabotage hostage talks - Axios
Senior Israeli officials have expressed "deep frustration" with the Biden administration over its decision to pause a weapons shipment to Israel, warning the move could jeopardize hostage negotiations, two sources briefed on the issue told Axios.
Why it matters: The unprecedented move by the Biden administration, first reported by Axios on Sunday, was a way for the U.S. to signal its concern over Israel's plans for a possible ground invasion of Rafah, U.S. officials said.
- "We're going to continue to do what's necessary to ensure that Israel has the means to defend itself. But that said, we are currently reviewing some near-term security assistance shipments in the context of unfolding events in Rafah," Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin testified in a Senate hearing Wednesday.
- The pause has increased tensionsbetween the Biden administration and the Netanyahu government, which have been steadily growing in recent months amid domestic and global fallout from the war in Gaza.
State of play: More than one million displaced Palestinians have been sheltering in Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip that Israel has called Hamas' last military stronghold.

An airstrike in Gaza City by the Israeli Air Force killed a commander in Hamas’s terrorist naval force, the Israel Defense Forces announced Wednesday.

In the past weeks, he masterminded attacks that targeted IDF soldiers operating in the central Netzarim Corridor that splits the Strip.
“In his position, Ali in recent years has been involved in managing projects of the naval force of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Strip,” added the military. (Read more)

1. Judge Orders Witness Names to Remain Secret in Trump Classified Docs Case - Epoch Times
The federal judge overseeing the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump has ordered that the names of potential witnesses remain secret, marking a victory for special counsel Jack Smith.
In a 24-page ruling on Tuesday, Judge Aileen Cannon said potential government witnesses’ names will be redacted in the case involving President Trump’s handling of classified documents after leaving office in 2021, in line with Mr. Smith’s request, which had cited safety concerns. However, he will still need to justify the redactions of every witness’s identity, the judge ruled.
Judge Cannon also ruled that significant parts of the substantive witness statements to investigators may still be made public, as they do not identify the witnesses or other third parties mentioned. (Read more)

2. House Conservatives Tank FISA Bill in Blow to Speaker Johnson - Epoch Times
House conservatives on April 10 tanked a procedural vote to advance a surveillance power reauthorization bill in protest against its lack of warrant requirements. The development is another blow to Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) who already faces an ouster threat from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
In a 193-226 vote, lawmakers voted not to advance Rep. Laurel Lee’s (R-Fla.) “Reforming Intelligence and Securing America” Act, which would extend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act’s (FISA’s) controversial Section 702 for a period of five years. The warrantless surveillance power was due to lapse on April 19.
While such procedural votes normally advance along party lines, 19 Republicans joined all Democrats to block the bill, employing a tactic increasingly used by GOP factions to apply pressure on leadership.
It’s yet another failure for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), who in February had to pull a similar bill from the floor. (Read more)

6. Biden, Harris announce new campaign push for LGBTQ support, call members 'a force to be reckoned with' - Fox News
President Biden and Vice President Harris’ re-election campaign has announced a new push to win over a group of voters that it claims is "a force to be reckoned with." The initiative comes just seven months ahead of the president’s rematch with the presumptive Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.
As Biden seeks to win another term in the White House despite facing historic low approval ratings, Team Biden-Harris announced the launch of "Out for Biden-Harris." The campaign describes the program as a national effort to mobilize LGBTQ+ voters and community members across the country.
In a statement, Biden-Harris 2024 campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said, "LGBTQ+ voters are a force to be reckoned with."
"They were critical to our victory in 2020, and they will be critical to winning again this November," Chavez Rodriguez added. "That’s why we’re thrilled to launch Out for Biden-Harris, which will harness the LGBTQ+ community’s organizing prowess to reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris this November." 7. GOP Rep. Presses FCC Over George Soros’ Takeover Of Second-Largest Radio Company In U.S. - The Daily Caller
New York Republican Rep. Nick Langworthy sent a letter Monday to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), calling on them to investigate liberal billionaire George Soros’ purchase of Audacy, Inc., the nation’s second-largest radio company that holds hundreds of local radio stations.
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter, in which Langworthy says it is the FCC’s role to regulate radio communications and make sure this does not further Soros’ efforts to control the media and flood local radio with far-left ideology. He calls for the FCC to ensure the protection of consumers and reaffirm the critical role of local radio.
Semafor reported Sunday that Soros’s firm, which is now controlled by Open Society Foundations (OSF), has been investing in radio heavily in the last few years, becoming the largest shareholder in Audacy in February. The outlet reported that Audacy is the second-largest radio company in the U.S. that has over 230 stations. (Read more)

8. U.S. Funneled Nearly $1 Million to Hamas-Linked Charity That Hosted Terror Leader’s Son, Report Says - Free Beacon
The United States Agency for International Development funneled nearly $1 million "to a terror charity in Gaza involved with the son of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh," according to a report.
USAID gave more than $900,000 in taxpayer funds to the Bayader Association for Environment and Development, a humanitarian group based in the Gaza Strip that is said to be "in close cooperation with [the] Hamas regime," according to a report by the Middle East Forum’s Focus on Western Islamism project. The United States awarded the most recent grant on Oct. 1, six days before Hamas launched a terror attack on Israel.
"Bayader is listed in federal spending data as a sub-grantee for USAID, with the government monies first routed through a sponsoring U.S. nonprofit, which are ostensibly required to vet their sub-grantees," according to the report. In February 2023, Bayader reportedly organized an event in the Gaza Strip that included "senior Hamas officials," such as Abdul Salam Haniyeh, the son of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: The Delusional Two-State Solution
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 8, 2024
In August 2005, nearly two decades ago, I wrote that “The unilateral retreat from Gaza by Israel has revealed much about the peace process. It shows the true heart of many. Over the weekend, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signed a decree giving to the Palestinians the land in Gaza vacated by the Israelis. Almost immediately, Hamas, the terrorist group, and soon to be a major successful political party among elected Palestinians, sent its gunman to take over the central square of Gaza City. Against the backdrop of a sign that read, “My dream is not going to be completed without Jerusalem,” A Hamas spokesman declared that “This retreat [by Israel] does not mean the end of our battle, but it is the beginning.”
“Promising more terrorism and violence, the Hamas gunman continued, “We will not stand with our hands tied as the remainder that our land remains occupied and our holy sites are desecrated. We will work to strengthen the resistance in these areas for the resistance is the only thing that will kick them out of these areas.” Hamas has launched a very effective propaganda campaign to make Palestinians believe that it was Hamas, not a unilateral decision by Israel, who was responsible for the evacuation of the Gaza settlements. With an eye toward the newly set January 25th Palestinian elections, the Hamas political campaign has begun.” Well, Hamas won that campaign. Eventually, as it remains today, Hamas won the support of well over 70% of those living in Gaza today. The “Palestinians” support Hamas and its acts. Read More

Iran Announces It Is ‘Broadening the Battlefront’ in War on Israel, U.S.
|
|
|
The commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, claimed on Tuesday his rogue regime is “broadening the battlefront” against Israel and America to hasten the collapse of both nations.
Salami claimed that the existence of both America and Israel “is coming to an end” in the immediate future and that Iran needed the help of every Muslim nation on earth to eradicate free societies because “if the enemy manages to infiltrate into a Muslim state, it will go on with others.”
According to the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency, Salami claimed that Iran – without specifying if the government directly or its terrorist proxy arms – had “blocked” Israel’s access to parts of the Mediterranean Sea.
“We are broadening the battlefront so that the enemy becomes disintegrated,” he claimed, stating it was necessary for Muslim countries to attack Israel to “safeguard our assets and identities.”
Reports on Salami’s comments did not clearly state what operations, if any, the IRGC was conducting to “broaden the battlefront” into the Mediterranean Sea. While the IRGC itself has not announced any new operations there, the Iran-affiliated “Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” a coalition of Iran-backed Shiite militias, issued a statement on Tuesday claiming to attack Israel in the Mediterranean. The “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” is widely believed to consist of members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), a group of Iran-backed Shiite militias that fought the Sunni Islamic State terrorist group and have been formalized as a wing of the Iraqi military. Severe storms batter the Midwest, including tornadoes that shredded a FedEx facility
|
|
|
DETROIT (AP) — Severe storms barreled through the Midwest early Wednesday, a day after two tornadoes struck one Michigan city and destroyed homes and commercial buildings, including a FedEx facility.
The tornadoes were first spotted after dark Tuesday in parts of Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, while portions of Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri were also under a tornado watch, according to the National Weather Service. The storms came a day after a deadly twister ripped through an Oklahoma town.
As the storms raged on in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh warned that a tornado in northeastern Ohio could cross into Pennsylvania. Parts of West Virginia were also under a tornado warning.
Hancock County Schools in West Virginia closed schools Wednesday because of “extensive overnight weather issues” in the county. News outlets reported damaged buildings and power outages.
Hours earlier in southwestern Michigan, two tornadoes blitzed the city of Portage near Kalamazoo on Tuesday night, destroying homes and commercial buildings, including a FedEx facility that was ripped apart.
No serious injuries were immediately reported, but city officials said in a news release that the twisters knocked out power to more than 20,000 people. Most of them would be without power until late Wednesday, city officials said.
At one point, about 50 people were trapped inside the FedEx facility because of downed power lines. But company spokesperson Shannon Davis said late Tuesday that “all team members are safe and accounted for.” (Breitbart) Read more here.

The House of Representatives on May 8 overwhelmingly voted to block a measure to strip House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) of the gavel advanced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) forced a vote on a motion to vacate after meeting with the speaker twice this week to discuss her grievances and demands.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) then offered a measure to table Ms. Greene’s motion to vacate. Democrats joined Republicans to approve its shelving in a 359 to 43 vote. Eleven Republicans voted to move forward with the ouster attempt.
House Democrat leaders had earlier pledged to help protect Mr. Johnson in the event of Ms. Greene’s ouster vote, citing his help in passing $95 billion foreign aid for Ukraine, Israel, and the Indo-Pacific.
Speaking on the House floor during what was intended to be the final vote of the week, Ms. Greene unleashed a litany of complaints against Mr. Johnson. She received a loud “boo” from members present when she brought the resolution to the floor.
The Georgia lawmaker was accompanied by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), one of two Republicans who openly expressed support for the measure.
Mr. Johnson has previously denounced Ms. Greene’s attempt to oust him, calling it a “dangerous gambit.” “I think it’s wrong for the Republican Party. I think it’s wrong for the institution,” he said last week. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, for many weeks now, as Your intercessors, we have been following the
actions of Speaker Johnson, both when he begins his day in the Capitol Prayer Chapel, meditating upon Psalm 31, and then working to lead the work of this Congress, day by day. We also honor his words, when recently he stated that his desire was to see the chaos in the House END, and for order to be restored.
Lord God, we also recognize that every decision made by every Speaker of the House, whether Republican or Democrat over the years, will not have the support of the full Congress. Nevertheless, Lord God, we know that it is written that You will "make a way where there seemeth to be no way," (Mark 10:27) so we turn to You now for the guidance.
We praise You, O God, that this nation rests upon the Blood of almost 400 Huguenot martyrs, spilled upon Matanzas Inlet in 1565, when these brave souls chose to live in
Christ rather than yield to the sword of the Conquistadors who served the Pope in the Holy Roman Empire. It was through their blood that all sin was abolished, and freedom in the Spirit was established.
We now prophetically apply that Shed Blood in the Spirit of the Most High God over every seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, crying out for You will -- order, not chaos -- to be achieved there with every vote taken. In Your Holy Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen!
- "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Rev. 12:11)

Destructive tornadoes and storms pummel Michigan Tuesday, and millions more face a similar threat Wednesday
|
|
Powerful tornadoes and storms swept through southwestern Michigan Tuesday evening, destroying homes and businesses and injuring several residents, scenes that could play out once again in the central and eastern US Wednesday.
At least a dozen people were injured at a mobile home park in Pavilion Township following a tornado Tuesday, according to a county official. The township is located in Kalamazoo County, where 15 to 20 people had minor injuries and were transported to two area hospitals, according to the county’s emergency management spokesperson Andrew Alspach.
In the neighboring city of Portage, about 7 miles south of Kalamazoo, pictures and videos showed a FedEx facility with significant roof and structural damage after a storm hit the area Tuesday evening. However, there were no serious injuries, a FedEx representative told CNN.
About 50 people were trapped in the building due to downed wires, Taylor Koopman, a spokesperson for Kalamazoo County administrator’s office, told MLive.com, adding work to clear the wires was ongoing as of 9:30 p.m. ET. However, city of Portage spokesperson Mary Beth Block told CNN in an email the building had been cleared by authorities.
At least one tornado, possibly two, hit the Portage area Tuesday, as the area faced two tornado warnings in just over an hour, the National Weather Service said. Read More

Ole Miss Students Drown Out Anti-Israel Protesters By Singing ‘Star-Spangled Banner’
|
|
A group of students at the University of Mississippi belted out “The Star-Spangled Banner” during a protest this week, drowning out the voices of anti-Israel agitators on the Ole Miss campus. In a video posted to X on Thursday, students could be heard singing the national anthem loudly, eclipsing the chants of nearby protesters, many of whom were carrying Palestinian flags. Dozens of students were evacuated from the Ole Miss campus after some 60 people gathered to loudly protest the Israeli government. The pro-Palestinian protest ultimately devolved into a shouting match between anti-Israel protesters and counter-protestors, according to the Mississippi Clarion Ledger. Counter-protesters began shouting, “Terrorists,” toward the anti-Israel protesters, who were chanting, “Free, free Palestine!” Police soon intervened, moving the crowd to a different space on campus.
When the protest dispersed, the university released a statement saying the demonstration ended peacefully. “As a public institution, the University of Mississippi is committed to supporting the rights of our students, faculty, and employees to express their views in a respectful manner and to assemble peacefully as enshrined in the First Amendment,” Ole Miss stated in a press release. “While today’s demonstration was passionate and several protesters and counter-protesters received warnings from law enforcement over their actions, there were no arrests, no injuries reported, and the demonstration ended peacefully.” Jacob Batte, director of media relations for the University of Mississippi, could not confirm whether the pro-Palestinian protesters were students. He did, however, confirm the protest was not organized by any registered student groups. (Faithwire) Read More Here
- Abba, we celebrate the courageous stance of college students who are righteously speaking out for Israel and standing with pride for our nation! We ask that You would quicken each student's mind and heart with keen discernment, revealing any evil intentions towards them or the citizens of our nation! In the Name of Jesus, we declare God's protection over the U.S.A., genuine love for the Jewish people and passionate patriotism displayed for America from the Gen Z generation to all future generations after them! Amen and Amen

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Words: Eliza Hamilton
Music: Ira Sankey
Scripture: Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Lyrics:
Jesus, my Lord, to Thee I cry;
Unless Thou help me I must die;
Oh, bring Thy free salvation nigh,
And take me as I am.
Refrain
And take me as I am,
And take me as I am,
My only plea—Christ died for me!
Oh, take me as I am.
Refrain
Helpless I am, and full of guilt;
But yet for me Thy blood was spilt,
And Thou canst make me what Thou wilt,
And take me as I am.
Refrain
No preparation can I make,
My best resolves I only break,
Yet save me for Thine own name’s sake,
And take me as I am.
Refrain
Behold me, Savior, at Thy feet,
Deal with me as Thou seest meet;
Thy work begin, Thy work complete,
And take me as I am.
Refrain
