NOAA Warning: "Severe Geomagnetic Storm" to impact Earth starting today
Update — May 10, 2024 at 9:04 AM EDT
NOAA issues first “Severe Geomagnetic Storm” alert since 2005
The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, and the Space Weather Prediction Center have reported that solar activity reached high levels over the past 24 hours.
This activity prompted the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center to issue a Severe (G4) Geomagnetic Storm Watch earlier today, marking the first such event since 2005.
The CMEs are associated with a large and magnetically complex sunspot cluster, known as NOAA region 3664, which spans an impressive 16 times the diameter of Earth. Several strong flares have been detected in this region, contributing to the heightened alert level.
Potential issues caused on Earth by impacts
The area of impact is primarily poleward of 50 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude. Potential effects include:
- Induced Currents: Power system voltage irregularities and false alarms on some protection devices.
- Spacecraft: Surface charging and increased drag on low Earth-orbit satellites, potentially causing orientation problems.
- Navigation: Intermittent satellite navigation (GPS) problems, including loss-of-lock and increased range error.
- Radio: Intermittent HF (high frequency) radio communication.
- Aurora: Northern lights may be seen as low as Alabama in the the southern U.S., down to Iowa in the Midwest, and down to Oregon in the Northwest.
CMEs expected to impact Earth today and through the weekend
The flares generated halo coronal mass ejection (CME) signatures, which are expected to contribute to a train of at least five CMEs headed towards Earth.
Initial arrival is likely between late May 10 and early May 11. The numerous events along the Sun-Earth line have complicated the modeling process, increasing uncertainty in the arrival timing of individual events. (Read more and view this event by going here.)

Israel Eye to Eye Connections: Record Floods & Tornadoes - Bill Koenig
|
|
U.S. President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken have been applying significant pressure on Israel, especially in April and May. They have been calling for an Israeli cease fire and hostage deal with Hamas.
Moreover, Blinken has been working on continuing the U.S.-backed Israel-Saudi normalization agreement with the Saudis and preparing for two-state talks between Israel and the Palestinians. Furthermore, the Biden administration has held up the delivery of precision equipment and ammunition to Israel (JNS).
While the U.S. effort was happening in Israel, the U.S. experienced the second-largest April tornado outbreak in history with 300 tornadoes. There were 929 severe weather events in the United States from April 2 to May 2, 2024.
There were 757 tornadoes in April 2011. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice had stated publicly at the U.N. that February that the United States rejected the legitimacy of Israel communities in Judea and Samaria.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had previously said on ABC that these Israeli communities were illegitimate and called for a two-state plan―and hosted the U.S.-Islamic World Forum in Washington, D.C., April 12, 2011, which once again called for a two-state solution in Israel. She said, “Neither Israel’s future as a Jewish democratic state, nor the legitimate aspirations of Palestinians can be secured without a negotiated two state solution.”
Rice and Clinton’s illegitimacy claims set the stage and became the mantra for the Obama administration. National Security Advisor Tommy Vietor said on April 4, “Not only are continued Israeli communities illegitimate; they run counter to efforts to resume direct negotiations” (Eye to Eye, 290–92).
On May 1–2, 2024, while Blinken was in Israel, the Houston area (The Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land MSA covers 9,444 square miles, larger than New Jersey) experienced massive rains and subsequent floods, the largest floods since August 2017 and June 2001.

How Many Jews Have to Die?

They increased their power and numbers through fear, intimidation, and coercion, promising prosperity and power to the people. Then came the elections, and suddenly they became a power to be reckoned with – and the masses joined them. To be a Jew became a curse, and in an instant, the Jews were stripped of their voices and rights. A new political correctness became the norm, insisting that the German Folk were oppressed, and the Jews were to blame… The Nuremberg laws, to subjugate and humiliate the Jews, were created and enforced, and the universities, newspapers, radio, television, movie theaters, corporations, and banking systems were systematically purged of Jews and non-conformists.

1. Netanyahu reaffirms promise to defeat Hamas, despite Biden threats - JNS
Amid the Biden administration’s decision to withhold arms from Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday reaffirmed Jerusalem’s resolve to defeat Hamas, even if it has to fight without U.S. backing.
Sharing a clip of his May 5 speech at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum in Jerusalem, the premier sought to reiterate that “no amount of pressure, no decision by any international forum will stop Israel from defending itself.”
“Eighty years ago, in the Holocaust, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against those who sought our destruction,” Netanyahu says in the speech, which was delivered on the occasion of the first Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) since the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre. 2. IDF: 150,000 Palestinians have left east Rafah; raid uncovers 10 tunnel shafts - Times of Israel
Amid the Israel Defense Forces’ ongoing operation in the eastern part of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, some 50 gunmen have been killed by troops, while some 150,000 Palestinians have evacuated the area so far, according to estimates by the military on Thursday.
Another 10 tunnel shafts have been found in the Rafah operation, launched late Monday, and they were being prepared for demolition.
In one incident Thursday, three soldiers were moderately wounded as a result of a blast in a booby-trapped tunnel shaft in the Rafah area, the military said. The troops were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The IDF currently does not plan to expand the evacuation order to other areas of Rafah, as the ongoing operation remains relatively limited in scope amid hostage negotiations with Hamas. (Read more)

3. IDF begins raid on Zeitoun neighborhood in northern Gaza - Israel National News
IDF and ISA forces, led by the 99th Division, began an operation in the area of Zeitoun in the central Gaza Strip, in order to continue the dismantling of terrorist infrastructure and elimination of terrorist operatives in the area.
The operation began with a series of intelligence-based aerial strikes on approximately 25 terror targets, including military structures, terror tunnels, observation posts, sniper posts, and additional terror infrastructure.
IDF ground troops are currently operating to secure the area of Zeitoun.
On Wednesday, in a joint IDF and ISA activity based on Israeli Navy and ISA intelligence, an IAF aircraft eliminated terrorist Ahmed Ali, the Commander of Hamas' Naval Unit in Gaza City. (Read more)

4. Emergency government could fall apart at any time - KAN report - Jerusalem Post
Israel's emergency government may soon fall apart due to its inability to reach a hostage negotiation deal, KAN reported on Thursday.
Minister-without-portfolio Gantz's National Unity Party believes that the negotiations have reached an impasse and the chances of achieving a deal are low. During a war cabinet meeting on Wednesday, MK Gadi Eisenkot made it clear that if there was no progress, he would quit the government.
KAN reported last month that the coalition is preparing for a situation in which Gantz leaves the government, which could see the return of Gideon Sa'ar to the government and entry into the war cabinet. (Read more)

5. Pro-Hamas Encampment at University of Pennsylvania Grows Larger - Algemeiner
Masses of new people have joined a pro-Hamas “encampment” at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) following an impasse in negotiations between the administration, students, and faculty over whether the school will divest from Israel and grant amnesty for those who have violated the school’s code of conduct — a key demand the protesters have put forward in exchange for ending the nearly three-week-long demonstration.
A crush of people on Wednesday “expanded” the encampment to cover more school property after conversations with the administration stalled, according to The Daily Pennsylvanian, a campus newspaper. Local police equipped with riot gear prepared to clear them from the area but ultimately stood down for reasons that remain unclear.
Following this escalation, Penn increased security in other areas of campus and has, for now, declined to ask police for help in quelling the demonstration. In the interim, Van Pelt Library’s main entrance has been made inaccessible to students and no one, including Jewish students and staff, is allowed to enter the Penn Hillel building, the campus newspaper reported. 6. Senator Grahams questions of U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin: JNS.org
“What’s Israel interested in?” the senior senator from South Carolina bellowed. “Do you believe Iran really wants to kill all the Jews if they could? The Iranian regime. Do you believe Hamas is serious when they say we’ll keep doing it over and over again? Do you agree that they will if they can?”
Sheepishly, Austin answered, “I do.”
“OK. Alright,” Graham continued. “Do you believe that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization also bent on the destruction of the Jewish state?”
Leaving out the bit about the Jewish state, Austin retorted, “Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.” Graham responded with a one-two punch.
“OK, so Israel’s been hit in the last few weeks by Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas, dedicated to their destruction,” he said. “And you’re telling me you’re going to tell them how to fight the war, and what they can and can’t use when everybody around them wants to kill all the Jews? And you’re telling me that if we withhold weapons in this fight—the existential fight for the life of the Jewish state—it won’t send the wrong signal?”
Graham concluded his diatribe by declaring, “If we stop weapons necessary to destroy the enemies of the State of Israel at a time of great peril, we will pay a price. This is obscene. It is absurd. Give Israel what they need to fight the war. They can’t afford to lose. This is Hiroshima and Nagasaki on steroids.” (Read more)

“Biden is siding with Hamas over Israel” said David Friedman, a former US Ambassador to Israel. “There’s no other way to say it.”
If Israel goes into Rafah, the United States will stop providing weapons to the Jewish state, U.S. President Joe Biden told Erin Burnett, of CNN, on Wednesday.
Hours after the Pentagon confirmed that the United States had withheld military aid to Israel and the day after Biden spoke at the Days of Remembrance for Holocaust victims at the U.S. Capitol, the president told CNN that Gazans have been killed due to the 2,000-pound bombs, which Washington is withholding from the Jewish state, and “other ways in which they go after population centers.”
“I made it clear that if they go into Rafah—they haven’t gone in Rafah yet—if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities—that deal with that problem,” Biden said.
The U.S. president claimed that his administration isn’t walking away from Israel’s security and that it would “continue to make sure Israel is secure in terms of Iron Dome and their ability to respond to attacks that came out of the Middle East recently.” (Read more)

3. How the Campus Protests Could Impact the 2024 Election – The Epoch Times
Some want Biden to take a harder line to quell the protests, while others are urging him to defend students’ freedom to protest against Israel.
Some Democrats are concerned that the ongoing college protests may jeopardize President Joe Biden’s chances of winning a second term. And there is an ongoing division within the Democratic Party over how to handle these demonstrations.

5. These States are Making it Illegal for Illegal Immigrants to Enter – The Epoch Times
Thousands of miles from the border, red states are taking matters into their own hands as the border crisis persists
Conservative states across the country—Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and Oklahoma—are taking border security matters into their own hands, proposing or passing legislation targeting illegal immigration.
The Oklahoma Legislature just passed a bill designed to prohibit illegal immigrants from entering or living in the state.
HB 4156 states, “A person commits an impermissible occupation if the person is an alien and willfully and without permission enters and remains in the State of Oklahoma without having first obtained legal authorization to enter the United States.”
The bill passed the state House and Senate by wide margins and Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, is expected to sign it into law. (Read more)

6. Pessimism About the US Economy is Going to Have an Absolutely Massive Impact on the Outcome of the Election in November – The Economic Collapse Blog
Americans are extremely pessimistic about the state of the U.S. economy, and that is really bad news for Joe Biden. Despite the glowing economic numbers that the Biden administration has been relentlessly feeding us, there is an overwhelming consensus among the American people that the economy is rapidly heading in the wrong direction. Prices continue to rise, mass layoffs are happening all over the country, loans are going bad at a staggering rate, homelessness and poverty are spiking, and economic activity is slowing down all around us. According to a poll about the economy that was recently conducted for Newsweek, the percentage of Americans that believe that the economy is going in the wrong direction is twice as high as the percentage of Americans that believe that the economy is going in the right direction…
Some 47 percent of Americans said they were now financially worse off than they were three years before, against 26 percent who said they were better off and 27 percent who said they were about the same. Some 45 percent said they were now worse off than before the pandemic, while 28 percent said they were better off and 27 percent were about the same.

7. Your Ability to Remain Free Rests in Your Willingness to Win the Information War – Discern Report
The "silent majority" is a concept that I think people talk about when they want to feel like they're more powerful than they feel at the moment. To be sure, the silent majority exists, but if I'm being honest, it's too often used as a way to soothe our worries. It's a story we tell ourselves to make us feel like everything will be okay in the end.
The suggestion is that the American populace is a sleeping giant ready to awaken at any moment and set everything right. The trouble is that the giant is absolutely no worry to anyone if it simply stays asleep. Right now, that giant is definitely asleep.
Why are the bad times getting so bad?
Because it's never been easier or more rewarding to lie, and on top of that, it's never been easier to stop the truth from getting out.
The sad truth is that it's not a conspiracy theory to say that there is a coordinated effort to spread lies by governments and corporations. The Twitter Files showed they're happy to work together to protect whatever narrative is helping them maintain the most control and raking in the most cash. (Read more)

8. In Six Months, We’ll Know If We Still Have a Country – Discern Report
In less than six months, the country will be faced with another presidential election. In normal times, we would have a proper degree of concern. We wouldn’t be thinking we were facing a near existential threat. In other words, we wouldn’t be so anxious, full of dread and scared to death about the routine changing of the guard. Evidently, we all know this election represents something bigger than that – much weightier.
It’s all on the line for America, this time. We have a fundamental choice in 2024 – one more chance to make things right. What is it?
As Ronald Reagan explained years ago, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
The Democratic Party is now the existential threat we face. It truly encompasses all our worst enemies and diabolical foes.

Remember History That It Is Not Repeated

In September 2005, less than a month after Israel, in a painful action of good will toward peace, evicted the last settler from Gaza. The darlings of the international peace movement, the Palestinians, used Gaza as a launching pad for a missile attack on Israeli towns. This is no less than what any common sense observer could have predicted because Hamas, the U.S. and European-engineered Palestinian Authority, Islamic Jihad and Fatah are just various shades and colors on the spectrum of terrorism—lipstick on a pig does not change the nature of the swine; nor has Gaza elections, western clothing and coached rhetoric changed the nature of Palestinian terrorists.
In the month between August and September 2005, Israel watched its former territory become a hotbed for terrorists. Thousands came across the border from Egypt, bringing with them rockets, rocket launchers, AK-47’s (I wonder where they get those—it couldn’t be the peace-loving trading partners of the US–China and Russia?). New telescope images reveal ghostly ‘God’s Hand’ in Milky Way reaching across the cosmos

What appears to be a ghostly hand reaching across the universe toward a defenseless spiral galaxy in a new telescope image is a rarely seen cosmic phenomenon, according to astronomers.
The Dark Energy Camera captured a stunning image of “God’s Hand,” a cometary globule 1,300 light-years from Earth in the Puppis constellation. The camera is mounted on the Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile.
Cometary globules are a type of Bok globule, or dark nebula. These isolated cosmic clouds are filled with dense gas and dust, which are surrounded by hot, energetic material. Cometary globules are unique because they have extended tails, like those seen on comets — but that’s the only cometlike thing about them.
Astronomers still don’t know how cometary globules come to exist in such distinctive structures. Historically, it’s also been hard for scientists to detect the faint clouds.
The new image of the glowing red hand-like feature showcases CG 4, one of many cometary globules found across the Milky Way galaxy. The twisting cloud appears to be reaching for a spiral galaxy known as ESO 257-19 (PGC 21338). But the galaxy is more than 100 million light-years away from the cometary globule. Read More

Pro-Life Doctor Shares How He Saved Babies From Death in the Middle of the Abortion
|

A physician who faced the specter of losing his license over his helping women try to save their unborn children exhorted pregnancy help professionals at the 2024 Heartbeat International Annual Conference to stay the course in doing the right thing when it come to standing for life. “Never, ever get tired of doing what is right,” Dr. Dermot Kearney said. “It can be discouraging. There will be opposition. Sometimes you’ll fall and fail, but just get back up and never, ever get tired of doing what is right.” Kearney, a cardiologist practicing in northeast England and president emeritus of the Catholic Medical Association (UK), addressed the Heartbeat Conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 24-26. Kearney was blocked by the UK medical authorities from providing Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) treatment and faced false charges of misconduct. Kearney withstood the suppression and eventually prevailed, as there was no evidence for the claims against him. Following this, another colleague in the UK who’d faced similar repression was also allowed to resume offering APR.
Heartbeat is the largest network of pregnancy help in the U.S. and globally and manages the Abortion Pill Rescue® Network (APRN). Kearney was administering APR through the APRN. Despite facing tremendous opposition of his own, Kearney said he and other UK providers have saved at least 61 babies so far—with more on the way—since 2020, when he began administering abortion pill reversal, the proven progesterone treatment to counteract mifepristone, the first abortion pill. “I’ve been practicing medicine since 1989 and in those 35 years I’ve done various things in cardiology and general medicine and emergency medicine,” he said as photos of him with babies he’s saved covered the big screens beside him. “But this far and away is the most rewarding aspect of medical practice that I can obviously say that I’ve enjoyed.” Kearney reported at least a 50% success rate (i.e., continued pregnancy and live birth) for his own patients who receive progesterone after taking only mifepristone. He compared this to a 1-2% survival rate when women take both mifepristone and misoprostol (the second pill in the abortion regimen), and a below-20% survival rate if women take only mifepristone but do not receive progesterone.
