BREAKING: Durham Report finds that FBI was biased against Trump, should never have opened Russian collusion investigation

Special Counsel John Durham released the final version of his report to Congress Monday and condemned the FBI for opening up the investigation into Russian collusion with little evidence.

Durham was tasked with investigating the origins of the probe into allegations of collusion between the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government.

His 300-page report found that the FBI inappropriately sought the investigation dubbed "Crossfire Hurricane."

Durham said the FBI utilized “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence" to open the investigation into the Trump campaign but did not follow the same standard when approaching alleged election interference in relation to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Durham also found that the FBI “did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations” made in the infamous Steele Dossier of lurid accusations against then-candidate Donald Trump.

“As noted, it was not until mid-September that the Crossfire Hurricane investigators received several of the Steele Reports. Within days of their receipt, the unvetted and unverified Steele Reports were used to support probable cause in the FBI’s FISA applications targeting (Carter) Page, a U.S. citizen who, for a period of time, had been an advisor to Trump,” the report says, according to CNN. - Holy One, let justice roll down like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.  (Amos 5:24)  We pray that You will bring justice upon the overwhelming mountain of wicked deeds committed in an attempt to take control of this nation and remove power from our duly elected president.  We have watched so much law-breaking take place by those charged with the responsibility and duty to uphold and honor the laws and our Constitution.  Holy King, we beseech You to continue pushing forward righteousness where there seems to be a void.  We ask for prosecution of crimes, on earth as in heaven and may we see recompense in our land, in Jesus Holy name.

- "Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; A fire shall devour before Him, And it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.  He shall call to the heavens from above, And to the earth, that He may judge His people;"  (Psalm 50:3, 4)

EXCLUSIVE: Five Migrants on Terror Watch List Arrested near AZ Border Post -Title 42
Border Patrol agents in a single border sector arrested five migrants later discovered to be on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) watch list. The apprehensions occurred on Friday in the Tucson Sector of the United States Border Patrol shortly after the end of Title 42. According to a source within Customs and Border Protection, not authorized to speak to the media, the migrants were referred to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task for further investigation and identity confirmation.

The source says the arrests of the foreign nationals who illegally crossed the border and attempted to avoid detection and apprehension occurred in separate incidents throughout the day and evening on Friday. Information regarding the demographics and nationalities of the arrested migrants was not available.

According to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection report, a total of 80 migrants who are listed in the Terrorist Screening Database have been apprehended after entering the United States along the southwest border between ports of entry this fiscal year. Two more were apprehended after crossing the northern border with Canada. (Breitbart) Read more.

Congressman's staffers attacked in office with baseball bat

A person looking for Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly allegedly attacked two of his staffers with a metal baseball bat at his district office Monday, the congressman said in a statement.

Connolly, a Democrat, said the individual was taken into police custody and the two staffers who were injured were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the staffers, a senior aide, was hit in the head, according to Connolly's office in Fairfax. The other, an intern who had just started working in the office, was hit in the side.

"I have the best team in Congress. My District Office staff make themselves available to constituents and members of the public every day," Connolly said in a statement. "The thought that someone would take advantage of my staff's accessibility to commit an act of violence is unconscionable and devastating." (ABC News) Read more.

- Father God, we thank You that these staffers were not killed in this violent incident! We agree with Congressman Connolly's statement that this act was "unconscionable and devastating."

Lord God, in these days of increasing violence, crime and hatred, we ask that Congress immediately release additional funding for all of our 435 members of Congress and 100 Senators, so that their District offices will be protected as they are on the Hill. We call forth additional security for each member, who spends their days, all day, sacrificially serving their constituents. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen!

- "Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”" (Psalm 50:15)

‘Something Is Very Wrong’:

America’s Most Powerful Tool For Countering China
Is In Dire Straits, Experts Say
The U.S. Navy is overstretched, and if it doesn’t find a way to hold on to sailors, keep ships in good condition and develop a clear plan forward, America will lose the most powerful tool it has to deter China, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Navy’s preparedness for a fight has crumbled in recent years from a series of issues with personnel and capabilities that likely stem from a failure to maintain a fleet of the right size and composition for the job of patrolling the world’s oceans and guarding the homeland, according to experts and watchdog reports. As Congress urges the service to maintain a larger fleet, the Navy is approaching the point where it will have to choose a path: fix its problems or cut down on its objectives, experts said.

“The United States counts on the Navy to advance U.S. influence, respond to crises and deter — and if necessary, defeat — adversary aggression. If the Navy does not swiftly address its deficiencies, one of its most important instruments of national power will become increasingly less relevant,” Timothy Walton, a senior fellow researching warfare and Indo-Pacific security at the Hudson Institute, told the DCNF. - Lord, we ask that You move on this administration to take care of our citizens and the military that protects them. We pray that current priorities would be revamped to do whatever is necessary to be ready in case of danger. We also pray for a move of Your Spirit to bring repentance across the earth, including our leaders and those in China.

1. Jerusalem Day flag march to test Gaza truce - JNS

(May 15, 2023 / JNS) This week’s Jerusalem Day flag march through the capital’s Old City will be a significant test for the recently brokered ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group.

In an article published in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, known for its Hamas sources, it was reported that while Thursday’s flag parade was not explicitly addressed in Saturday night’s ceasefire agreement, the Gaza terrorist groups will vow to oppose any so-called “Israeli aggression” against the Al-Aqsa mosque or a violation of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire reached in May 2021 following that month’s war (“Operation Guardian of the Walls”).

The May 2021 war commenced precisely when the flag parade was about to begin, marked by two rockets Hamas fired towards Jerusalem.

The flag march is an annual highlight of Jerusalem Day festivities, which celebrate the anniversary of the Israeli capital’s reunification during the Six-Day War. Thousands of youths carrying Israeli flags march through Jerusalem’s Old City. (Read more)

2. PA calls on ICC to issue arrest warrant for Ben-Gvir - JNS

(May 14, 2023 / JNS) The Palestinian Authority requested on Sunday that the Internation Criminal Court issue an arrest warrant for Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir over his call for a large-scale counterterror operation in Judea and Samaria, The Jerusalem Post reported.

In an interview with local media following “Operation Shield and Arrow,” Ben-Gvir praised as “good and important” the targeted killing of six top Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists during the five-day conflict, adding: “The next operation must be in Judea and Samaria.”

n its appeal to the ICC, Ramallah accused Ben-Gvir of “incitement” and of supporting “a bloody aggression” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to the report.

The P.A. denounced Ben-Gvir’s remarks as “a license to kill Palestinian citizens” and a call for “an unjustified military escalation, which reflects an expansionist colonial mentality to perpetuate the gradual annexation” of Judea and Samaria. (Read more)

3. Cities across Israel go on strike, shuttering schools - Israel National News

Dozens of authorities, including cities and local councils, went on strike Monday, suspending all municipal services, including the education system, as part of the protest by local governments against the establishment of the Arnona Fund. The strike will not impact matriculation exams in mathematics or special education.

Despite the decision by the Federation of Local Authorities to launch the strike, a significant portion of municipalities have declared that they will not join the protest.

In Jerusalem, all municipal services will continue as usual, as well as in the Samaria Regional Council, communities surrounding the Gaza Strip, and a number of other communities.

Among the cities affected by the strike are Tel Aviv, Givatayim, Haifa, Shoham, Ashdod, Hod HaSharon, Rishon LeZion, Modi'in, Yavne, Beit She'an, Tiberias, Kfar Saba, Herzliya, Ra'anana, and Ramat HaSharon. (Read more)

4. IDF raid in Nablus – one Palestinian killed - YNET News

Israel Defense Forces troops early on Monday morning entered Askar near Nablus in the West Bank to map the home of a terrorist involved in the attack that killed brothers Hallel and Yagel Yaniv in Huwara in February. During the operation, violent clashes developed between the forces and Palestinian rioters, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails and shot at the soldiers. The Israeli forces returned fire, killing one gunman, the Palestinians reported.

The soldiers mapped the home for demolition and left the area, with no injuries reported. It was the home of Abdel-Fattah Harusha, the terrorist who murdered the brothers in February and was killed by Israeli security forces nine days later. According to the Palestinians, two men were evacuated from the scene; one of them – identified as Saleh Sabri - died, and the other was also injured in the exchange of fire.

The Yaniv brothers by gunfire at their at their vehicle as they drove through Huwara. Harusha came up to the window of the car and shot at the brothers with a pistol from point blank range. After the shooting, the victims' car collided with other cars at the scene - including that of the head of the Beit El council. At the time, IDF forces were pursuing Harusha and others in the villages around Nablus. (Read more)

Israeli authorities caught five suspects red-handed trying to rob a 2,000-year-old antiquities site in northern Israel, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Monday.

The suspects were trying to rob a Roman-Byzantine site in the village of Ein Mahal, near Nazareth.

We recently noticed robbery excavations that took place illegally around the village of Ein Mahal,” said Nir Distelfeld, the inspector of the robbery prevention unit of the Antiquities Authority in the northern region.

“From that moment, we went on an operation, until we caught the robbers, the operation lasted about three weeks,” Distelfeld explained. (Read more)

1. Greg Abbott: Dominion Must ‘Answer’ Questions About Role Played in Tucker Carlson Firing - Breitbart

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called on Dominion Voting Systems to “answer” questions about its alleged role in Tucker Carlson’s firing from Fox News after reports surfaced the outlet fired Carlson as part of the network’s settlement with Dominion.

Earlier in the week, Carlson’s attorneys reportedly sent a letter to Fox News accusing them of breach of contract and fraud. The letter also alleged the conservative cable news outlet fired Carlson as part of its $787.5 million settlement with Dominion.

Carlson, who is under contract with Fox News until January 2025, announced this week that he would bring “a new version” of his show to Twitter.

As Breitbart News detailed:
The letter came just before Carlson announced on Twitter that he would be bringing his show to the social media platform, signaling that his legal team believes it can argue that Fox News violated its contract with Carlson first, freeing him from it.

The letter reportedly alleges that Fox News made promises to Carlson that were intentionally broken, constituting fraud, and that the network also broke an agreement not to leak his private communications to the media.
The letter also reportedly alleges the network broke promises not to settle with Dominion Voting Systems “in a way which would indicate wrongdoing” on the part of Carlson and not to take any actions in a settlement that would harm his reputation.
Two sources told Axios that Carlson was told by a member of the Fox News board that he was taken off the air as part of a Dominion settlement.
Abbott on Saturday said the electronic voting company must answer about the role it played in Carlson’s firing before it could be allowed to do business within the Lone Star State. (Read more)
- Lord, if indeed this company attempted to silence Tucker Carlson, we pray that all involved would be revealed.  We ask that all secrets of censorship and lies be torn down in the Name of Jesus.

- “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.”  (Luke 8:17)

2. EXCLUSIVE: House Homeland Security Committee Chair Reveals He Has Evidence Of Mayorkas’ ‘Potential Fraud’ – Daily Caller

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green revealed that he has evidence of “potential fraud” allegedly committed by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that could be grounds to build an impeachment case, he said in an exclusive interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

Green told the DCNF that he has confidential sources sharing information with him that purportedly shows that Mayorkas may have committed fraud, but he refused to divulge further details at this time.  Several House Republicans, including Reps. Pat Fallon of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona, previously filed articles of impeachment against Mayorkas.

“We’ve got some people that are sharing some information with us that there’s potential fraud, so we’re going to look very hard at all of these things, prepare a packet, show it to the American people, and then if it warrants impeachment, we’ll hand it off to Chairman Jordan. I think it will, based on the information I know,” Green told the DCNF. (Read more)

3. Federal Judge Halts Biden Plan To Release Migrants Into US As Title 42 Ends – Daily Caller

A federal judge in Florida on Thursday blocked the Biden Administration’s plan to release thousands of migrants into the U.S. without court dates or the ability to track them, hours before the expiration of Title 42.

Granting the request of Republican officials in Florida, U.S. District Judge Kent Wetherell ordered a halt to the “quick release” policy supported by the Biden administration which allows for migrants to cross into the U.S. without first enrolling them with Immigration and Customs Enforcement offices for court dates, NBC News reported.

The temporary halt, set to expire in 14 days, was ordered to take effect May 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET “to correspond with the expiration of the Title 42 Order and to give Defendants an opportunity to seek an emergency stay from a higher court,” the outlet reported. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord for this ruling. We pray that it will be set as a permanent one by a higher court in order to protect communities that are already struggling under massive amounts of migrants. May Your heart and wisdom prevail over this situation.

- “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:5-17)

4. NY Hotels Boot Homeless Veterans to Shelter Released Migrants – Breitbart

Upstate New York hotels began kicking homeless veterans from their properties to make room for migrants being bused to the region from New York City. The homeless veterans, many Vietnam-era veterans, were receiving temporary shelter in the hotels through the efforts of a nonprofit agency.

The New York Post reports that nearly two dozen homeless veterans “have been booted from the upstate hotels to make room for migrants.” One of the hotels told a 24-year-old Afghanistan war veteran their temporary housing was being pulled out from under them and they would have to move somewhere else.

Sharon Toney-Finch, CEO of the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation, told the New York Post, “Our veterans have been placed in another hotel due to what’s going on with the immigrants.” Toney-Finch said they moved the veterans from the Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh, New York, to other nearby motels and hotels. The properties were located about 20 minutes from where they were displaced. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for our veterans to be helped, not shuffled around.  Let this current crisis of illegal immigration be solved with wisdom, and let our veterans be given a hand up to a better life. Help them turn to You at this difficult time.

- “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
5. Biden gloats border looks 'much better than you all expected' despite historic crossings- Washington Examiner

President Joe Biden gloated on Sunday that the situation at the southern border was going "much better than you all expected" after the expiration of Title 42.

Biden spent Sunday at his beach home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, along with First Lady Jill Biden and their daughter Ashley. Facing questions from reporters during a stop on an afternoon bike ride about the end of the pandemic-era policy that allowed border officials to turn away millions of migrants for the last three years, the president expressed satisfaction that Title 42's expiration had not led to an immediate surge.

“Much better than you all expected," Biden replied when asked how he thought the border was looking, later adding that while the number of illegal crossings had gone down, "we have a lot more work to do, we need some more help from the Congress."

Despite his claim, the number of crossings is still exorbitantly high, with U.S. Customs and Border Protection stopping over 10,000 migrants per day this week, the highest levels ever. (Read more)
- Lord, this stating of the “facts” is deceptive. We ask that the asylum system and the plans for release of migrants be fixed permanently to keep our communities safe. We pray for the survival of America. Let repentance flow, let the Presence of God be our rudder to steer us away from the dangers in the world.

- “One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.” (Proverbs 14:16)
6. Comer Says He ‘Can’t Track Down The Informant’ In Biden Family Investigation – Daily Wire

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said he’s lost track of the informant who was the source for the investigation into alleged corruption centered around President Joe Biden and his family.

The informant is the source for a whistleblower who informed Comer about an alleged bribery scheme.

Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News, Comer said at least nine of the ten whistleblowers with knowledge of the situation are “either currently in court, they’re currently in jail, or they’re currently missing.”

“Well unfortunately, we can’t track down the informant,” Comer told host Maria Bartiromo. “We’re hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant, the whistleblower is very credible.”

“Hold on a second, Congressman,” Bartiromo interjected. “Did you just say that the informant is now missing?”

“Well we’re hopeful that we can find the informant,” Comer repeated. “Now remember, these informants are kind of in the spy business, so they don’t make a habit of being seen a lot or being high-profile or anything like that. We have basic information with respect to what the informant has alleged, and it’s very serious.” (Read more)
- Lord, You know where these people are, and what they are doing. If any have succumbed to pressure from the administration or worse, we ask for Your deliverance and assistance for them. Let them know Your protection and Presence, allowing them to seek Your Face.

- “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” (Proverbs 18:15)

7. Yellen Says Pressures Remain on Some U.S. Regional Bank Stocks but System Sound – US News

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Monday that some regional bank stock prices remained under pressure, but deposits had stabilized and regulators stood ready to use the same tools used in recent bank rescues if more contagion fears arose.

Yellen told CNBC in a live interview that some of the selling of bank shares was due to earnings strain, but added that the "bar is pretty high" for imposing any controls on short selling of bank stocks.

"We're not seeing substantial deposit runoff," Yellen said. "So there are some pressures on stock prices but our banking system is well capitalized, it has access to liquidity and regulators stand ready to use the same tools we have in the past if there are further pressures that arise that could create contagion."
Asked if she would support a temporary ban on short-selling of bank stocks to take some pressure off of regional banks, she said that was a matter for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to decide, and the last use of such controls in 2008 may have made things worse.

"If it were being found that there's market manipulation, that's something the SEC certainly could take action against. But short selling more broadly, the bar is pretty high to put controls on," Yellen said. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that her words are true, but we ask that You place guards over the US banking system to protect it from further disasters. We ask for Your Mercy and Grace over the finances of all of us. Give us repentant hearts to hear Your Voice and do what You tell us.

- “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10)

8. Kenya cult death toll rises to 200; more than 600 reported missing - CBS

The death toll linked to a doomsday cult in Kenya hit 201 Saturday after police exhumed 22 more bodies, most of them bearing signs of starvation, according to the coast regional commissioner. The bodies are believed to be those of followers of a pastor based in coastal Kenya, Paul Mackenzie. He's alleged to have ordered congregants to starve to death in order to meet Jesus.

More than 600 people are still missing.

Mackenzie, who was arrested last month, remains in custody. Police plan to charge him with terrorism-related offenses. Hundreds of bodies have been dug up from dozens of mass graves spread across his 800-acre property, located in the coastal county of Kilifi. Mackenzie insists that he closed his church in 2019 and moved to his property in a forested area to farm.

Autopsies conducted on more than 100 bodies last week showed the victims died of starvation, strangulation, suffocation and injuries sustained from blunt objects. Local media outlets have been reporting cases of missing internal body organs, quoting investigators in the case. (Read more)

- Father, if Pastor Mackenzie has done these things, we pray for justice. IF not, if he is innocent, then we ask for mercy. We cover ourselves with the Blood of Jesus, and bind the lies of the Demons of death in Jesus’ Name and tear them down by the power of the Living God.

The Shabbat And Your Perfect Liberty

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 15, 2023

There is a great struggle between those who wish to maintain political freedoms such as the right of free speech and religious freedom, and those who seek to diminish them. As believers in Christ our freedom is of a higher order, a spiritual nature, because it is given by God. Your true freedom is not given by governments or corporations or men. Be encouraged that the Lord’s liberty is superior to governments. Your freedom is in the Lord and His rest. We can find rest, regeneration, and the courage to stand in the spiritual rights endowed by our Lord. The Bible says that God rested on the seventh day from all his work. It is called the Shabbat, and God also instituted this rest for mankind. Herein is a key to perfect liberty.

After bringing the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery, the Lord instituted appointed times called Shabbats for his people. In them, are a spiritual communion with God that embodies rest, health and liberty. It was in fact on a Shabbat that Christ proclaimed the fulfilment of the Isaiah 61 prophecy when he said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Luke 4:18-21).” Read More

Cyclone Mocha makes landfall in Myanmar, turns deadly
At least six people have died and 10,000 homes have been damaged from the impacts of Cyclone Mocha.

Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Mocha made landfall Sunday afternoon, local time, in western Myanmar (also known as Burma) near the border with Bangladesh. Sustained winds prior to landfall were around 155 miles per hour, making Mocha the equivalent of a strong Category 4 hurricane. At least six people are reported to have been killed from the storm so far, according to the BBC.

Bangladesh had ordered the evacuation of nearly 500,000 people ahead of Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Mocha, which rapidly strengthened from Thursday to Saturday as it churned over the Bay of Bengal.

The evacuations, which started Saturday according to The Associated Press, took place amid warnings from the U.N.'s World Meteorological Organization of a humanitarian crisis at the world's largest refugee camp in the town of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, near where the cyclone made landfall on Sunday, accompanied by a storm surge, flooding rainfall and damaging winds. As of Saturday evening, local time, about 200,000 refugees were taking shelter in Cox's Bazar. Local reporting states that at least 10,000 homes were damaged in Cox's Bazar as of Sunday. Read More

Mother's Desperate Prayer Supernaturally Sparked Son's Return from the Dead
A Texas teen's family is thankful he's alive after suffering cardiac arrest before miraculously being brought back to life two hours later. Sammy Berko of Missouri City, Texas, was recently pronounced dead after a bystander, medical professionals and doctors worked on him for hours in a desperate attempt to restart his stopped heart. Doctors gave up hope—and then something incredible happened. The 16-year-old came back to life, KRIV-TV reported. Sammy's shocking ordeal unfolded Jan. 7, when he was at a rock climbing gym. He reportedly reached the top of the wall and then went limp. Once he was lowered, the seriousness of the situation became apparent.

That's when lifesaving measures were unsuccessfully implemented, though these early efforts potentially protected the teen from more serious brain trauma. "They looked at us and said, 'I'm so sorry, but he's gone,'" Jennifer, Sammy's mom, told KRIV-TV, noting she and her husband were left behind in the room to say goodbye to their beloved son. That's when Jennifer said she started speaking to her son—and God. "I started talking to [Sammy], just telling him how much I love him and sorry that we didn't know how to save him," she said. "Suddenly, as I started praying, my husband said, 'Oh my gosh, he's moving.'" Jennifer and her husband began shouting, and doctors came in and discovered a true miracle had unfolded and Sammy was back, according to KRIV-TV. (Charisma News) Read More Here

Scripture: The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

Lyrics:
I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

Refrain
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him, and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms I do flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

Refrain

Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!

Refrain

Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

Refrain

If one should ask of me, how can I tell?
Glory to Jesus, I know very well!
God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,
Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

Refrain

In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blessed;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.
