"Standing United Together . . . Under the Cross of Christ"
TODAY'S TOP STORY
The 'Sleeping Giant' Awakens: Native American Leaders Anticipate Revival
Native American Christian leaders came together in South Dakota with a powerful focus on sharing Jesus with Indigenous people who've faced generational hardships. The gathering is ahead of the Native Peoples Tour with Will Graham this summer. They came from Texas and Saskatchewan, South Carolina and Wyoming, Alberta and Kentucky. They carried the names of their tribes with honor: Lumbee, Chippewa, Navajo, Apache, Sioux, Hopi and more. Altogether, more than 125 Christian leaders representing 14 states, two provinces and 24 tribes gathered this week for the Native Peoples Christian Leaders Conference in Rapid City, South Dakota. They came to be encouraged and equipped, to worship together and network, all with the goal of seeing revival spread through Indigenous communities in the United States and Canada.

As Will Graham addressed the assembly, he recounted a similar gathering that took place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 18, 1975. During that meeting, Will Graham's grandfather Billy Graham said, "You as evangelical Indians are a sleeping giant. You are now awakening. The original Americans could turn around and be the evangelists to win other Americans to Christ." For nearly half a century, that statement has been held tightly by Native Christians, a source of encouragement and a challenge to persevere in the faith. "I believe this is our opportunity—a God-given moment in time," said Will Graham, pointing back to his grandfather's words. "God is waking the Sleeping Giant, and I believe God will use you to bring the last great revival. This is a moment in history that can change our country forever."

If Billy Graham believed the Sleeping Giant was stirring in 1975, the giant seemed wide-awake—and hungry—in Rapid City this week. "That giant isn't sleeping anymore. We're going to arise and we're going to see God work," said Claus. "If we're going to see the giant rise—if we're going to see the Gospel impact our nations, our families, our tribal government—it involves leadership on all levels. Whether it be in the Church or in our homes or in our communities, we have to realize that we are called by almighty God to lead as an example to those around us."

Many at the conference believe we're about to see a mighty movement of God among Indigenous people that spreads across the country. "I think we'll look back at this time and think, 'Wow, we got to be a part of that,' because of what will happen perhaps years from now," said Will Graham. "I believe we're going to see Native people on fire for Christ, leading other Native people to Jesus, leading the last great revival. I don't think it will be the preachers leading a revival, but the broken repenting and turning to Christ. I pray this is just the beginning." (BGEA) Read More here.
- Father we PRAISE You for the prophetic word spoken long ago that is now coming to fruition! We sing HALLELUJAH for the revival that You are bringing to the Native Americans. May this be the beginning of Your Holy Spirit FIRE falling down upon every tribe and nation!! We EXALT You Lord and give You all the GLORY!-In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

- "Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Government to Submit Law Permitting Facial Recognition Cameras in Public Spaces - Jewish Press

The Ministerial Legislation Committee on Sunday approved a bill regulating the use of facial recognition cameras in public spaces. Under the bill, the defense establishment would have access to information captured by the cameras and would be able to use it without a court order.

The bill aims “to regulate aspects of the installation and use by the Israel Police of special photographic systems in the public space. … These are photographic systems that are capable of focusing on objects or various biometric properties, taking a picture of them, and comparing it to the pictures in the database in a manner that makes it possible to identify the object or person being photographed if there is a previous, identified image of him in the database.”

The bill lists the following objectives for the installation and operation of the photographic systems: detection and prevention of criminal offenses or of offenses that may endanger law and order or national security; prevention of serious harm to life or property; locating a missing person; enforcement of bans on entry into public places granted by law; and enforcement of restraining orders. (Read more)

2. Biden visit to eastern Jerusalem, White House meeting with Abdullah concern Israelis - World Israel News

U.S. President Joe Biden’s expected White House meeting this week with Jordanian King Abdullah over the Temple Mount and a proposed visit to eastern Jerusalem without an Israeli escort on his first trip to the country since coming into office, could symbolize a change in U.S. policy that concerns Israelis.

The Jordanian monarch is arriving in Washington Monday. The meeting with the president will focus in part on the recent flare-up of violence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and on attempts to reduce the subsequent Palestinian-Israeli tensions, a senior Jordanian official told Walla News.

Pushing their self-proclaimed role as “custodians” of the holy site, Jordanian leaders blamed Israel for police measures taken to prevent Palestinian rioters from injuring visitors to the Mount and below at the Western Wall. They publicized a list of demands, including that the Jordanian-funded Waqf (Islamic trust) administrators on the Mount should be in charge of security instead of the Israeli police and be given the right to pre-approve non-Muslim visitors .(Read more)

3. Odeh says entire Joint List will back bill to dissolve Knesset - Times of Israel

Joint List leader Ayman Odeh vows all six of the predominantly Arab party’s lawmakers will back a bill to dissolve the Knesset when it comes up for a preliminary vote tomorrow.

“All six members of the Joint List will participate in the vote [tomorrow]. All of us will vote to dissolve the Knesset. Period,” he tells Channel 12 news.

The Joint List is comprised of three factions — Hadash, Ta’al and Balad. Odeh, who leads Hadash, and the head of Ta’al have both said their factions will vote for the measure, while Balad has not yet publicly commented. (Read more)

4. Israel’s coalition overcomes two no-confidence motions in Knesset - JNS

(May 10, 2022 / Israel Hayom) Israel’s coalition government overcame two no-confidence motions at the opening of its summer session on Monday, one introduced by the Likud Party and the other by Shas.

The Likud motion was rejected by a vote of 52 to 61, while the Shas motion failed by a vote of 52 to 56.

Five members of the joint Arab List Party voted with the coalition against the Likud motion, but abstained from the second vote. The coalition lost its 61-seat majority when Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s Yamina party MK Idit Silman resigned in April, and coalition partner Ra’am has temporarily frozen its membership in the government over recent tensions on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. (Read more)

5. Israel revokes 1,100 entry permits for families of terrorists -Israel National News

In response to the recent wave of terrorist attacks which has left 19 people dead, Israel has prevented the entry of 1,100 Palestinian Arabs from Judea and Samaria whose family members carried out an attack on Israeli citizens and security forces.

A senior security source told military reporters Tuesday that the revocation of entry permits to Israel is an effective tool aimed at deterring potential terrorists from carrying out terrorist acts.

"We will not allow the families of terrorists who have chosen the path of terrorism to enter the State of Israel for employment and trade. Every Palestinian who thinks of choosing the path of terrorism knows that the attack he is committing will cause great harm to his family," the source said. (Read more)

1. Douglasville high school placed on lockdown due to stabbing investigation - Fox Atlanta

A Douglasville high school was put on a Code Red lockdown after a stabbing involving students at the school Tuesday morning.

Officials have confirmed that Alexander High School on the 6500 block of Alexander Parkway in Douglasville has been placed under a lockdown while school police investigate the stabbing. At the time, officers did not allowing anyone to enter or leave the school. The lockdown has since been lifted.

School officials say after the stabbing all students were currently safe and in their classrooms. “There is a police presence at Alexander to maintain the safety and security of our school community," school officials sent to parents Tuesday morning. (Read more)

Father, we ask You to be there for everyone involved.  We bind this evil act in Jesus name and loose the light of Christ in this school.  We pray for everyone to recover both physically and emotionally.  May there be an overwhelming turning towards You Jesus as a result.

2. Alabama Ban on Gender Transition Surgery, Drugs for Children Takes Effect - Brietbart

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed the Alabama Vulnerable Child Protection Act into law in April, telling opponents like White House press secretary Jen Psaki. “Alabama will continue protecting our kids and not letting out-of-state liberals like Jen Psaki and the Biden White House tell us what to do.”

Our state is prepared to defend our values,” Ivey continued. “Like I said, we need to focus on properly developing our children into the adults God intended them to be.”
Several transgender groups have been challenging the bill and are seeking a temporary injunction on its taking effect — but federal district Judge Liles Burke on Sunday made no overture toward blocking the measure.

The groups that filed the lawsuit, including GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders and Human Rights Campaign, say the law will do “immediate and irreparable” harm to the plaintiffs, who include four “transgender youth,” two doctors, and a minister. President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice led by Attorney General Merrick Garland has also joined the case against the Alabama law.

We pray for Governor Ivey of Alabama who has taken a bold and God-honoring step to protect children from those who encourage mutilating children for some unholy purpose.  We know and are convinced that God made humans male and female, so any other perspective is twisting of the beauty of God's creation.  We pray for other states to stand strong on behalf of protecting their children from this danger.  Father, give Alabama a firm foundation to be victorious in this fight, in Jesus name!

3. Pro-choice group targeting churches has links to Revolutionary Communist Party - Fox News

A pro-choice group that is coordinating protests targeting churches has links to the Revolutionary Communist Party, Fox News Digital has learned. Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights is among the far-left groups that organized Mother's Day protests against churches in response to a leaked Supreme Court ruling indicating the court may overturn Roe v. Wade.

The protests targeting churches are listed as part of Rising Up 4 Abortion Rights' week of action, which it says is meant to pressure the Supreme Court into upholding Roe.
The online signup form for Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights discloses that the group "is a project of RefuseFascism.org."

Refuse Fascism is an offshoot of the Revolutionary Communist Party, as the communist group has acknowledged, and was launched in response to former President Donald Trump's victory in the 2016 election. (Read more)

Thank You Jesus for granting wisdom and courage to this news agency to reveal the back-story of these radical organizations. We bless those who are standing up against these rioters.  May they quickly learn that trying to manipulate the Supreme Court through outrage is not going to work.  We also thank You Father for defending our justices in their homes with police protection.

4. OAN runs 30-second segment acknowledging ‘no widespread voter fraud’ in 2020 election - Independent U.K

More than 18 months after the 2020 presidential election, right-wing television network One America News has admitted that a pair of Georgia election workers who OAN personalities accused of committing ballot fraud did absolutely nothing wrong.

On Monday, the network aired a 30-second segment in which a voiceover told viewers a statement acknowledging that the 2020 election — in which President Joe Biden, a Democrat, carried the Peach State for the first time in decades — saw “no widespread voter fraud”.(Read more)

- Lord God, we are amazed that, at times, we need to go to news sources beyond our own nation to get the facts in a matter. We thank You that this has now come to light, and that OAN has also set the critical record straight regarding these accusations of voter fraud in the State of Georgia. We praise You, O Lord, amen and amen.

5. National average for gasoline hits record $4.37 a gallon - CNBC

Gasoline prices surged to the highest level on record Tuesday as oil holds steady above $100 a barrel, contributing to inflationary pressures across the economy.
The national average for a regular gallon of gas hit an all-time high of $4.374 on Tuesday, according to AAA. The price is not adjusted for inflation.

Prices have been rising at a fast clip, with the ascent accelerating after Russia invaded Ukraine, sending energy markets reeling.

The national average crossed above $4 in March for the first time since 2008, and has remained above ever since.
Consumers are now paying $1.41 more at the pump than last year. In some places, the move is far more extreme. In California, for instance, the state average now stands at $5.84. A handful of counties in the state have topped $6. (Read more)

Father, these gas prices are terrible and certainly an indication of the disarray in our government's leadership.  We pray for a quick resolution to this economic spiral out of control.  May these prices cause voters to remove all the bad actors from office this year.  Let us begin a turn-around at the state level for the recovery of our nation in Jesus name.

6. Ron Johnson opens probe into CDC tracking Americans through phone data - Just The News

Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is investigating the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for tracking millions of Americans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CDC paid one company $420,000 to access location data for at least 20 million cell phones a day, a Vice Motherboard investigation revealed last week. While the CDC claimed it needed access to the data to fight COVID, documents show the data was used "to support non-COVID-19 programmatic areas and public health priorities."

Johnson criticized the CDC's phone tracking efforts Monday on "Just the News – Not Noise."
"Just because data exists, doesn't mean that the government should be using it to track Americans, I would think that that really raises some very serious constitutional issues," Johnson noted. (Read more)

Holy One, we are blessed by the courage and tenacity of Senator Johnson.  We pray for protection for his entire team and the ability to enforce justice upon those who would evade it.  Cause this revelation to be much more than just a voice…rather, cause it to change everything for the good, in Jesus name.

7. NIH, agency scientists received estimated $350 million in royalty payments over last decade: report - Just The News

The National Institutes of Health and the federal agency's scientists from 2010 to 2020 received at least roughly $350 million in royalties from such third-party groups as pharmaceutical companies, according to an investigation from Open the Books, a nonprofit focus on government transparency.

The third-party payers are, according to the report, mostly pharmaceutical companies that credit NIH scientists as co-inventors on various patents. “Because those payments enrich the agency and its scientists, each and every royalty payment could be a potential conflict of interest and needs disclosure," writes Adam Andrzejewski, founder of OpentheBooks.com and the report's author.

Between roughly fiscal 2010 and fiscal 2015, the NIH disclosed 22,100 royalty payments that totaled nearly $134 million paid to the government science agency and almost 1,700 of its scientists. The NIH disclosed the amount after OpentheBooks.com sued in federal court for access to the information. (Read more)

Almighty God – the amount of money being thrown around by these agencies and their cronies is appalling.  We call for complete exposure of every detail in these so-called secret transactions, which have no standing to be kept secret.  Cause there to be full disclosure and an abrupt end to the millions of dollars flowing all over the place in these agencies.

8. Elon Musk says he will REVERSE Trump's 'permanent' Twitter ban - The Daily Mail

Elon Musk has revealed that he would reverse Twitter's permanent ban of Donald Trump after completing his $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform. Speaking virtually at a conference in London on Tuesday, Musk said that Twitter's move to ban the former US president 'was a morally bad decision and foolish in the extreme.

'I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump,' added Musk, specifically addressing Trump's removal from Twitter for the first time since launching his takeover of the company last month.

Trump was banned from Twitter in January of 2021, in response to his supporters storming the US Capitol and attempting to block the certification of Joe Biden's election victory. (Read more)

Thank You Abba that Elon Musk is changing the social media "algorithm" over the Twitter purchase and his future plans with it. We look forward to seeing a platform where many diverse opinions can be expressed and no longer censored (including my own).  Whether President Trump returns or not, the linchpin is our freedom of speech.

9. Arizona Supreme Court Rules Republicans Gosar, Biggs, Finchem Can Stay On Ballot In 2022 - Conservative Brief

Arizona’s Supreme Court has ruled that three Republican lawmakers can run for re-election, rejecting a lawsuit from a liberal group that had challenged their eligibility.

The state’s highest court ruled that GOP Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs as well as Republican State Rep. Mark Finchem can remain on the ballot in their respective races this year.

A group of voters had sued to have the three Republicans removed from the ballot over their alleged involvement in the incident at the U.S. Capitol last year. (Read more)

Thank You Jesus for justice on behalf of these lawmakers.  We bind every attempt to disqualify or slander our elected officials and we ask You Jesus to loose the fire of God upon them and every one who will stand boldly for truth and justice.

"The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness.  Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails.  But the unjust knows no shame."  (Zephaniah 3:5)

10. Russia Trains Missiles on Ukraine’s Quiet Zone to Target Trade - Bloomberg

Sergey Rylov heard the thud as a Russian missile was shot down on its way toward Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, a town on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine where he’s lived since fleeing the fighting in the east a month ago.
His immediate thought was that he’d be keeping his daughter home from kindergarten that day. His second? “The war’s coming here too.”

The attempted missile strike last Friday was still a rarity compared to the now-familiar routine elsewhere in Ukraine since Russia invaded on Feb. 24. But until recently, the southwestern-most corner of Ukraine that curls between Moldova and Romania had been largely untouched by the war, providing a transit corridor for cargoes no longer able to use sea ports that once handled 70% of Ukraine’s trade.

Odesa, just 50 km (31 miles) away and the region’s administrative capital, has been less fortunate. On Monday it was again hit by multiple missile strikes. Mariupol, further east, lies in ruins. (Read more)

Father, we command a cease and desist order against Russia bombing in Ukraine.  Let every plot and plan of Russia against Ukraine be stopped and made null and void, in Jesus name.  May the plans and purposes of Almighty God be released over these countries and may human lives be valued and protected.

"He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them."  (Psalm 145:18)

The Daily Jot

Assault On Christianity

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 10, 2022

Many people are having a difficult time understanding how the Biden Administration, the mainstream news media and corporations assault on “misinformation” and “disinformation” relates to Christian persecution. There is a reason why the Founding Fathers placed freedom of speech, religion, the press, and peaceful assembly together as enumerated rights in the First Amendment. Without free speech there can be no peaceable assembly. The absence of free speech begets religious persecution. A free press is supposed to hold accountability to overreaching government. This new era of government, media and corporate collusion to censor free speech is now taking an extreme turn toward religious freedom.

Case in point is the extreme radical reaction to the leaked Supreme Court decision to end federally-legalized abortion and kick it back to the states to decide. Those who are pro-life are targeted by the pro-death crowd. Crisis Pregnancy Centers that offer alternatives to abortion and are often operated by Christians have been vandalized and protested. Churches across America, Catholic churches in particular, have been targeted with vandalism and protests because of their pro-life convictions. Joe Biden, a” Catholic, is largely silent on the attacks, but his Press Secretary Jen Psaki danced around the violence and vandalism: We don’t support that…We understand the passion. We understand the concern. But what the President’s position is is that that should be peaceful–the protests.” This is a far cry from violence will be met with force. Is God Breathing on America?
[Note: The following is a prophetic word given to Phillip Juaregui, Founder of Judicial Action Group (JAG) on the date that Samuel Alito was sworn into office as a Justice on the United States Supreme Court: January 29, 2006]

Because it was Justice Alito who has now written the draft opinion to see Roe v. Wade overruled at this "set time," and because both of the names -- SAMUEL and ALITO -- have such prophetic meanings, we now present this word to you in its entirety.

May we, too, "Seize the moment" and fight for LIFE, until the right to life has been secured across our nation . . . now!
America is in desperate need of life.  Our spiritual condition parallels our natural condition.  Both conditions have experienced much death in the last few decades.  In order to be renewed, we need God to breathe life into us.

God Brings Life Through His Breath

God is the same today as He was in the beginning.  He always brings life the same way – through His breath.

Since creation God has always brought life through His breath.  In Genesis 2:7, “the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”  Today, God still brings life through breath.  Jesus Christ explains in John 3:1-21, that we must be born a second time of the Spirit of God, by way of spiritual breath.  In verses 5, 6, and 8 Jesus speaks of birth by the Spirit.  The Greek word for “Spirit” is pneuma, which is translated:  “breath, or a current of air.”  The root word pneo literally means “to breathe hard.”

In the thirty-seventh chapter of Ezekiel, God shows us that He brings life to a Nation in the same way that He brings life to a person – by His breath.  In verses one through fourteen, God takes Ezekiel in the Spirit and puts him in the midst of a great valley of dry bones.  Our situation in American today is similar to the situation that Israel faced:  “our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off.”

Ezekiel walked in the midst of the valley of dry bones and then God asked Ezekiel whether the bones could live.  In short, God asked Ezekiel whether he believed that God was able to make these bones live.  Of course, the correct answer should have been: “Yes Sir.”  But Ezekiel – like many of us – lacked faith and bashfully answered:  “Oh Lord God, you know.”  Americans, like Ezekiel, have had their faith weakened by their experience.  We have walked a long time through the death and dryness of this Nation, and we should guard against having bashful faith in the ability of our God.

God wants to perform a “dry bones” level miracle in this Nation.  He is able and the time is ripe, but He has ordained to first move His people to pray for the miracle in faith.  We are praying for big miracles in America.  It is one thing to ask God to perform a miracle and heal a virus; another to ask Him to heal cancer; another to ask him to raise the dead; another to ask Him to raise the decaying dead like Lazarus.  But the situation that Ezekiel experienced was far worse;  he was asked whether God could breathe life again into not just one person but a whole nation of people that were dead, whose skin, flesh, and sinews had decayed to dust, and whose bones were scattered together in a valley.

In verses four through eight of the story, God tells Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones:

Again, He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!  Thus says the Lord God to these bones:  “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.  I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live.  Then you shall know I am the Lord.”’”  So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the boned came together, bone to bone.  Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

In these verses God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones and tell them that – in the future – God would cause breath to enter them.  God said:  “I will (future tense) cause breath to enter you.”  Ezekiel obeyed God and at the conclusion of verse eight, the bones, sinews, flesh and skin have come together.  Like in Genesis 2:7 there is a body, but that body is still without life, because the breath of God has not yet entered the body.

In Ezekiel 37:9 God tells Ezekiel to prophesy (present tense) to the breath to enter the body and bring life now:

Also, He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God:  “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”  So I prophesied as He commended me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet an exceedingly great army.”

God brings life through breath.  America needs life and so America must pray for God to breathe life into our dead situations.  In many instances, our dead situations have entered in through the wickedness that has been sanctioned through the Supreme Court.  But God has called His people to pray over these dead situations and – like Ezekiel did in verse seven – they have.  But now God is calling us to pray in the present tense – like Ezekiel did in verses nine and ten.  God is asking us to pray the breath forth from the four winds to breathe into this Nation and into this Supreme Court so that these slain may live.

The Name “Alito” means “Breath”

It is significant that we are now in the midst of the appointment, confirmation and the coming investiture of Samuel Alito into the United States Supreme Court.  The Court through its decisions represents the areas of this Nation that are most in need of the life of God.  We need God to breathe life into the Court.

Judge Samuel Alito’s name is interesting.  He is Italian and in Italian the name “Alito” means “breath.”  While it seems that Samuel Alito will be a good justice, like all of us – he will have his good days and his bad days.  Of course, God is not telling us to put our hope in any man, but rather He is telling us that now is the day that He wants to breathe life into the Supreme Court and this Nation.  God is bringing renewal to this Nation and He is bringing it through judicial renewal at the Supreme Court.
God is directing us to pray now for the breath of life to enter the Court.  God wants to send the breath, but He is asking us – like he asked Ezekiel – to tell the breath of life to enter this dead situation.  We should pray now against the powers and principalities that have ruled over the Court and, according to Ephesians 6:12, we should pull them down in the spirit now.

History has its contrasting seasons of laboring and victory.  Reagan endured a season of labor and spoke the fall of the Berlin Wall before it ever happened, but there came a day of victory when it actually fell in the now.  Likewise, generations labored against the Soviet Union, but there was a moment in time when it fell in the now.  For over a generation we Americans have prayed for renewal in American and for life to enter the Court – and our day of victory in the spirit is now.  Now is the day that God desires to breathe the breath of life into the Court and for the day of victory in the natural to come quickly.

The prayers of the saints have inflicted a devastating toll on the spiritual forces have held this Nation in bondage by ruling over the Supreme Court.  The spiritual forces of wickedness that have reigned over this Nation through the Supreme Court are reeling like a dazed boxer.  The round after round after round pressing of intercessors has worn these forces down to the point that they are ready to fall to the canvas.  Now is not the time to fight as we normally fight.  Now is the time to go for the knock-out.  Now is the time to pray with ferocious force and confidence.

The Name “Samuel” means “Heard by God”

Judge Samuel Alito’s first name “Samuel” literally means “heard by God.”  In the Old Testament book of First Samuel, chapter one, there was a woman named Hannah whose womb was barren and without life.  Hannah was not satisfied with this curse of death and she asked God for life in her womb.  God heard her prayer and gave her a child and she named him “Samuel” because this name literally means: “heard by God.”

In American, we have been praying for renewal in this Nation and like Hannah we have been praying for life in the womb.  We too have been “heard by God” and He is sending life to the womb and renewal to our Nation through the Judiciary.

Conclusion

God is directing us to pray now for the breath of life to enter the Court.  Again, God is not telling us to put our confidence in Samuel Alito – but God is telling us to go for the victory in prayer now.  God wants to send the breath, but He is asking us – like he asked Ezekiel – to tell the breath of life to enter this dead situation.  We should pray now against the powers and principalities that have ruled over the Court and we should forcefully and with confidence pull them down now.

God is breathing life into America, and He has given us the honor of praying it forth.

After years of neglect, ‘rare opportunity’ opens up
for Tiberias archaeological gems
Volunteers have cleaned up stunning sites including Sanhedrin seat and huge Roman theater that were buried under trash; as authorities argue, experts plead to set up national park.

It is an area of immense historical, archaeological and religious significance to all three monotheistic faiths, referred to by some as the “Caesarea of the Galilee”: where manuscripts of the Bible were written, where the 2,000-year-old Sanhedrin rabbinic council of sages is believed to have compiled the Jerusalem Talmud, where an ancient church, huge Roman theater and one of the world’s oldest mosques are situated, and where Roman leader Herod Antipas built his palace.

But for many years, these sites in ancient Tiberias in northern Israel have largely been lying neglected and in ruins, covered in weeds and garbage and subjected to theft and vandalism, prompting outcry among experts.

The fact that the sites lie within the municipal boundaries of the city of Tiberias has led to national authorities shirking responsibility and trading blame for the neglect, with efforts to change the situation falling short.

Now, though, a volunteer group, led by the Kinneret Institute for Galilean Archaeology, has started cleaning up the sites and is fundraising to continue that work and raise public awareness for the site. Read More

The Good News Corner
Alito's Neighbor Plays 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus' as Pro-Abortionists Protest at Justice's House
One week after Politico published the leaked opinion draft of Dobbs v. Jackson, which strongly indicated a reverse to Roe v. Wade, nearly 200 pro-abortion activists took to the streets — but not the streets of Capitol Hill or downtown Washington D.C. A quiet northern Virginia community was disrupted by loud and vulgar chants in angry response to the impending decision that will gut abortion access in the United States.

The crowd met at a local parking lot and marched to the home of Justice Samuel Alito, which garnered a heavy police presence. En route to Alito’s house, chants, which rung more vulgar than at most demonstrations, echoed throughout the upscale suburban community.

But through the shouts and vulgarities, one neighbor found comfort in the hymn “‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” and wanted others to hear it, too. With open windows, the pianist played the age-old hymn on the family’s grand piano, which was easily heard from the street.

The neighbor wished to remain anonymous for safety concerns but provided the Standing for Freedom Center with a quote: “I wanted to do something beautiful and thoughtful to counter the noise, the chaos, the sadness of those protesting life in front of an empty house. There is nothing more steadfast and measured than the joy of worshipping our Savior through precious hymns.”

Following the protest, Editor-in-Chief for the Freedom Center, John Wesley Reid called his mom to update her on the events of the evening. His mom, who has long encouraged him in his pro-life pursuits, said: “God hears the cries of the babies over the shouts of the crowd, and God recognizes the efforts of His people in combating this great evil.” –Gail Reid

Words: Ludey Pickett
Music:  Fred Jackey

Scripture: I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20

Lyrics:
I’ve seen the lightning flashing,
I’ve heard the thunder roll.
I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing,
Which almost conquered my soul.
I’ve heard the voice of my Savior,
Bidding me still to fight on.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!

Refrain
No, never alone, no never alone,
He promised never to leave me,
He’ll claim me for His own;
No, never alone, no never alone.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone.

Refrain

The world’s fierce winds are blowing,
Temptation sharp and keen.
I have a peace in knowing
My Savior stands between—
He stands to shield me from danger
When my friends are all gone.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!

Refrain

When in affliction’s valley
I tread the road of care,
My Savior helps me carry
The cross so heavy to bear;
Though all around me is darkness,
Earthly joys all flown;
My Savior whispers His promise,
Never to leave me alone!

Refrain

He died on Calvary’s mountain,
For me they piercèd His side.
For me He opened that fountain,
The crimson, cleansing tide.
For me He waiteth in glory,
Seated upon His throne.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!

Refrain
