Russia Confirms Missile Strikes on Lviv in Western Ukraine as Biden Visits Poland - The Epoch Times
|
|
Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed Sunday it struck what it claimed were several military targets in the Ukrainian city of Lviv, saying it used both precision and long-range missiles.
Speaking to state-run media, Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said Moscow destroyed a large fuel depot in Lviv. The facility was destroyed via “high-precision long-range sea-launched weapons,” the spokesman added, while also saying that a second target in Lviv was destroyed, according to the Interfax news agency.
“The armed forces of the Russian Federation continue offensive actions as part of the special military operation,” Konashenkov said in a statement, referring to how Russia’s government terms the conflict, which started Feb. 24. The ministry also presented a video that allegedly showed missile strikes in Lviv, Reuters reported.
The Lviv regional governor, Maksym Kozytskyy, wrote on Telegram on Sunday that the fuel depot was “completely destroyed.” Lviv is located about 40 miles from the border of Poland, a member of NATO.
President Joe Biden visited Poland on Saturday.

- Abba, we cry out to you and ask for your mercy. We ask that this war would soon and quickly come to an end. We ask that you would preserve and protect the lives of the Ukrainian citizens. We ask that you raise up a leader who will bring practical and godly wisdom to the table and who can broker and mediate a cease-fire. Abba, our eyes are upon you, our hope is in you.

1. Bennett, Gantz said to spar over Ramallah meeting with Abbas, Jordan’s Abdullah - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Benny Gantz are engaged in a spat over the latter’s desire to attend an upcoming meeting in Ramallah between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordan’s King Abdullah II, according to reports in Hebrew media on Saturday night.
Channel 13 news reported that Gantz sought to take part in the meeting, set to take place early this coming week, to discuss efforts to prevent an escalation in violence over the upcoming holy Muslim month of Ramadan.
The network said Bennett put the kibosh on Gantz’s participation, feeling it would distract from the summit in southern Israel between the foreign ministers of Israel, the US, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Egypt, which is set to begin on Sunday. (Read more)

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will host his counterparts from the US, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco for a “historic diplomatic summit” next week, the Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.
The summit will take place on Sunday and Monday, according to its statement, which said more details would follow.
The announcement came a day after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced his visit to Israel and the West Bank, a move that had taken some analysts by surprise as the top US diplomat had visited less than a year ago and is not expected to announce a major diplomatic initiative. (Read more)

3. Egyptian FM to join upcoming ‘historic’ Abraham Accords summit in Israel - Times of Israel
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is expected to attend the “historic” diplomatic summit in Israel on Sunday, joining foreign ministers from the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco — signatories to the US-brokered Abraham Accords in 2020 — for the two-day event.
Shoukry will arrive in Israel on Sunday, joining US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the UAE’s Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Bahrain’s Abdullatif bin Rashid Al- Zayani and Morocco’s Nasser Bourita for the gathering, Hebrew-language media first reported Saturday morning, citing sources with knowledge of the preparations surrounding the summit. Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will host the event on Sunday and Monday.
Israeli ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Na’eh, tweeted Saturday that March 26 marked the 43rd anniversary of Israel’s historic peace agreement with Egypt, signed in 1979. “43 years later, foreign ministers from at least 4 Arab countries + [the US] will gather in [Israel] tomorrow, to talk regional coop[eration],” he wrote, including the flags of Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and the United States in the tweet. 1. Putin heard 'loud and clear' call for regime change after Biden said he 'cannot remain in power': expert - Fox News
President Biden's speech Saturday in Poland affirmed to Russian President Vladimir Putin what he already long suspected – the U.S. wants him out of power, a Russia expert told Fox News Digital. "Putin heard loud and clear a call for regime change," Rebekah Koffler, a Russian-born former Defense Intelligence Agency officer, said.
Speaking on the world stage about Russia's war on Ukraine, Biden said: "For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power." Putin has long suspected that Washington was working on regime change, possibly through a "color revolution" to orchestrate a civil society uprising to bring about his ouster, according to Koffler. So Biden's remark at the end of his address in front of the Royal Castle in Warsaw confirmed Putin's suspicions, said Koffler, the author of "Putin's Playbook: Russia's Secret Plan to Defeat America."
Shortly after Biden's speech however, the White House denied that Biden was calling for regime change.
"The President’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change," a White House official told Fox News Digital shortly after the speech concluded. (Read more)

|
- Father, here again Biden's administration is having to clarify what Biden really meant to say. Biden's statement on regime change has been said and Russia has heard what they want to hear! Protect us from this administration and their inability to lead this country!

2. White House walks back multiple Biden remarks during Europe trip on Putin, chemical weapons, troops - Fox News
On Friday, Biden was speaking to U.S. troops in Poland, and he said that Ukrainian people "have a lot of backbone" before appearing to suggest that the troops would soon be in Ukraine itself -- something U.S. officials have repeatedly ruled out.
"And you're going to see when you're there," he told the 82nd Airborne Division. And some of you have been there. You're going to see -- you're going to see women, young people standing -- standing… in front of a damn tank, just saying, "I'm not leaving. I'm holding my ground." They're incredible. But they take a lot of inspiration from us."
A White House spokesperson later clarified that remark: "The President has been clear we are not sending U.S. troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position."
‘In kind’ response to chemical weapons
On Thursday, Biden was asked if the U.S. would respond if Russia were to use chemical weapons as part of its invasion of Ukraine. Biden said that such a move by the Russians would "trigger a response in kind."
After that remark, it was up to National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan to clarify. Sullivan was asked what Biden meant by "in kind." Sullivan said that meant "we’ll respond accordingly" and that Russia would pay a "severe price. We will collect the form and nature of our response based on the nature of the action Russia takes," Sullivan said. "And we'll do so in coordination with our allies. And I won't go beyond that other than to say the United States has no intention of using chemical weapons, period, under any circumstances," Sullivan maintained. (Read more)

- Father, we intercede for Biden and his wrong statements, which causes his administration to "clean up" his comments. Reveal what's really happening behind the scenes with Biden's health, and may those that are guiding him realize America needs a strong leader who is fully engaged to make tough decisions.
- "The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished." (Proverbs 16:1-33)

3. Ukraine reports 300 dead in airstrike on Mariupol theater - AP
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — About 300 people were killed in the Russian airstrike last week on a Mariupol theater that was being used as a shelter, Ukrainian authorities said Friday in what would make it the war’s deadliest known attack on civilians yet.
For days, the Mariupol government was unable to give a casualty count for the March 16 bombardment of the grand, columned Mariupol Drama Theater, where hundreds of people were said to be taking cover, the word “CHILDREN” printed in Russian in huge white letters on the ground outside to ward off aerial attack.
U.S. President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said the theater bombing was an “absolute shock, particularly given the fact that it was so clearly a civilian target.” He said it showed “a brazen disregard for the lives of innocent people” in the besieged port city.
The Ukrainian Parliament’s human rights commissioner said soon after the attack that more than 1,300 people had taken shelter in the theater, many of them because their homes were destroyed. The building had a basement bomb shelter, and some survivors did emerge from the rubble after the attack.
“This is a barbaric war, and according to international conventions, deliberate attacks on civilians are war crimes,” said Mircea Geoana, NATO’s deputy-secretary general. He said Putin’s efforts to break Ukraine’s will to resist are having the opposite effect: “What he’s getting in response is an even more determined Ukrainian army and an ever more united West in supporting Ukraine.” (Read more)

4. U.S. Missionary Kidnapped in Ukraine by Russian Forces: 'We're Praying that He's Strong,' Daughter Says - Christian Headlines
An American missionary who became a well-known pastor in a major Ukrainian city has been kidnapped by Russian soldiers from his home.
Dmitry Bodyu, the pastor of Word of Life Church in Melitopol, was taken by eight to 10 Russian soldiers Saturday, his wife Helen told NBC News. He is 50.
“They came in, took our phones, [electronics and] took him somewhere – I don’t know where,” his wife said. His daughter, Esther Bodyu-Ogawa, told NBC News the Russians asked if he was American. They also took his passport. “We’re praying for him. And we’re praying that he’s strong,” Bodyu-Ogawa said. “They just took him against his will.”
The pastor had told Ukrainians they could shelter from the war at his church.
“They walked in, and they just started kind of questioning him right away, like, ‘Are you guys American citizens?’ – that’s kind of, like, one of the first questions they had,” Bodyu-Ogawa said. (Read more)

5. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Discharged from Hospital after Week-Long Stay - Christian Headlines
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was released from the hospital Friday morning, one week after he was admitted due to flu-like symptoms, the court said. The court on Friday did not give any further information about his condition, according to ScotusBlog, a website that covers the Supreme Court in-depth.
Thomas, 73, is the second-oldest member of the Supreme Court and a member of the conservative bloc. Thomas, who was placed on the court by George H.W. Bush more than three decades ago, has been a hero to many in the conservative legal realm, having stated his opposition to Roe v. Wade and having sided numerous times with conservative organizations in religious liberty cases.
Although he is its second-oldest member, he is its longest-serving member. He was confirmed in 1991, three years before 83-year-old Stephen Breyer, who is retiring. (Read more)

6. GOP Rep. Jeff Fortenberry Found Guilty of Lying to FBI Over Campaign Contributions - Epoch Times
Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-Neb.) was found guilty on March 24 of concealing information and making false statements to federal authorities who were investigating illegal contributions to his 2016 election campaign, the Justice Department announced. Fortenberry, who has served in Congress since 2005, was charged in October last year with one count of scheming to falsify and conceal material facts and two counts of making false statements to federal investigators looking into illegal contributions. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison, as well as fines.
The jury returned the verdicts within just hours of deliberations following a weeklong trial in Los Angeles.
“After learning of illegal contributions to his campaign, the congressman repeatedly chose to conceal the violations of federal law to protect his job, his reputation, and his close associates,” U.S. Attorney Tracy L. Wilkison said in a statement. “The lies, in this case, threatened the integrity of the American electoral system and were designed to prevent investigators from learning the true source of campaign funds.”
Fortenberry told reporters outside the courthouse that he would appeal the decision immediately and said that he believed the trial had been unfair. (Read more)

7. Nebraska Rep. Jeff Fortenberry to resign from Congress after lying to FBI - Fox News
Rep. Jeff Fortenberry, R-Neb., announced Saturday that he will resign from Congress after he was convicted by a California jury for lying to authorities about an illegal campaign donation from a foreign national.
In a letter to members of the House, Fortenberry, who has served as Congressman for Nebraska's 1st congressional district since 2005, said he was resigning from Congress, effective at the end of this month.
"It has been my honor to serve with you in the United States House of Representatives," he said in the letter. "Due to the difficulties of my current circumstances, I can no longer effectively serve." (Read more)

8. Supreme Court Sides With Biden, Against Navy SEALs Protesting Vaccine Mandate - Daily Caller
The Supreme Court sided with the Biden administration Friday over Navy SEALs fighting the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The court blocked a lower court’s ruling, which had prohibited the Pentagon from changing the military assignments of unvaccinated SEALs. Six of the nine justices on the court ruled that the Commander-in-Chief, not a judge, is ultimately in charge of the armed forces.
Texas U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor ruled in January not only that the Navy must grant religious exemptions to the vaccine mandate to those who request them, but that commanders could not alter the assignments of troops based on their vaccination status. Friday, the Supreme Court put that order on hold, with dissents from Justices Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas. Alito wrote in a dissent separate from the others that the troops suing seemed to have been treated “shabbily” by the Navy, which denied their requests for religious accommodations to the vaccine mandate.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the lower court ruling “poses intolerable risks to safety and mission success,” and that the court was undermining the Navy’s authority.
The SEALs who were fighting the mandate now will likely face the prospect of limited deployment opportunities if they do not comply with the mandate. One commander of a guided missile destroyer has already had his ship’s deployment blocked due to his refusal to get vaccinated, as the Navy says he is a health threat to the other 320 sailors on board, according to NBC News. (Read more)

- Father, we continue to fight and intercede for freedom for those all over the United States to not be discriminated against on their jobs for deciding what's best for their own health in regards to vaccinations.

9. U.S. braces for increased border flood when Trump policy expires - WND
Anticipating the expiration of a Trump administration policy, an estimated 170,000 refugees who have been turned away at the southern U.S. border are poised to try again, creating a "bottleneck" for already overwhelmed immigration officials.
The Trump-era policy allows U.S. Border Patrol agents to deny entry without considering asylum claims to anyone from a country where a communicable disease such as COVID-19 is rampant. The Biden administration plans to end the policy, known as Title 42, as soon as April 1, reported DailyMail.com.
During the presidencies of Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the policy has been used to turn away more than 1 million asylum seekers.
Intelligence officials told the news site Axios that as many as 170,000 people are waiting to apply for asylum. A multi-agency unit from the Departments of State, Justice, Defense and Health and Human Services has been formed to handle the anticipated influx, Axios reported. The "Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan" could include flying migrants to less-congested border crossings, deploying buses from the Bureau of Prisons and setting up large tent bases. 10. Secret Service Reports $100 Billion Minimum Stolen in Pandemic Relief Funds - Independent Sentinel
The U.S. Secret Service says nearly $100 billion has been stolen from COVID-19 relief programs set up to help businesses and people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
Nearly $100 BILLION AT MINIMUM has been stolen from COVID-19 relief programs set up to help businesses and people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, the U.S. Secret Service said Tuesday.
Who couldn’t have guessed that the Big Government would pay no attention to the distribution?
Most of that figure comes from unemployment fraud. The Labor Department reported about $87 billion in unemployment benefits could have been paid improperly, with a significant portion attributable to fraud, ABC News reports.
They have retrieved under $4 billion, so forget seeing most of the funds returned to the treasury.
This is how well the government takes care of our money as we struggle during high inflation that is continuing to rise. (Read more)

"NEITHER"
A commentary on the Ukraine/Russian War
by Carolyn Hyde in Israel
|
|
|
After visiting and hearing the hearts of Russian and Ukrainian believers, I’ve come to understand that this war and the coming wars are not about one side that’s good and the other side evil.
I have a picture of Joshua standing before the Angel of the L-rd, asking Him whose side He is on. And the angel of the L-rd responds, “Neither, rather I indeed come now as Captain of the Army of the L-rd -
While the leaders of nations are raging and attempting to gain control and expand their own kingdoms, Adonai is appearing in the midst of this devastating man-made power struggle, bringing many soldiers and civilians into a divine encounter with the Angel of the L-rd of the Army.
And again a word I was given a long time ago returns -
Even as the kingdom of darkness is building itself up higher and stronger in the coming days, trying to achieve the statue to be worshipped in Daniel 2:32-35, its foundations will be continually crumbling, fractured and failing. In the end only the Kingdom of Adonai will remain standing.
In Luke 11:17 Yeshua knew the thoughts of the people and remarked, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls.”
In Mark 9 a man implored Yeshua to heal his son, “If You can,” to which Yeshua queried, “If You can? All things are possible to him who believes.”
May we all respond, “I do believe; help my unbelief!”
Blessings in abundance,
Carolyn

“We Live in a Time of Utter Madness and We’re Ruled by Lawless Monsters”
- Michele Bachmann at Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast
|
|
|
In this year’s presentation, Bachmann discussed Biden’s insane deal with Iran that is expected to be released any day now. This isn’t a deal, it’s a disaster. Lord save us.
|
|
Bachmann shared starting at the 2:06:34 minute mark in the video below, how the US under President Trump operated under a pro-Israel policy and Jerusalem was formally recognized as Israel’s capital. Next Bachmann discussed how Iran is the world’s number one chief state sponsor of terrorism in the world. Now Biden is planning on reviving a nuclear weapon program for Iran.
No one could have ever made up this scenario but it’s true. The US under President Biden while Russia was actively invading the Ukraine agreed to lift all the sanctions the United States had against the terror state of Iran. What strange timing to ease pressure on terrorist Iran.
The deal Bachmann says was a complete United States capitulation to Iran’s demands. Iran even refuses to sit in the same room with the United States during these nuclear talks. So Biden appointed a Russian negotiator to do the negotiating for the US with Iran. “So Russia is the US negotiator with Iran.”
We live in a time of utter madness and we’re being ruled by lawless monsters…As soon as this deal gets signed, and it will be any day, Iran will immediately get access to $90 billion in sanctions relief…Iran will get over $130 billion to spend from this deal. This money will go straight to Iran’s terror programs.

Ketanji Brown Jackson Criticized for Support of CRT
|
|
|
Keisha Toni Russell, a constitutional lawyer at First Liberty Institute, testified Thursday in opposition of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination for the Supreme Court, arguing that her support of critical race theory means she would not be able to uphold the Constitution if she believes it is racist.
“Every lawyer and judge promises to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution, but she cannot uphold this oath if she believes that the Constitution and the principles of America’s foundation are racist and inherently flawed. Neither can a judge remain impartial and administer justice independently if she holds a philosophy that correcting racism requires affording privileged classes less justice than oppressed classes,” Russell said in her opening statement.
She continued, “Ultimately, a judge should consider America’s history as a lesson and a blueprint for why and how we must constantly seek to uphold and protect America’s founding promises. For these reasons First Liberty has concerns about Judge Jackson’s jurisprudence and First Liberty cannot support her nomination.”
Jackson is a member of the Board of Trustees for Georgetown Day School, which has embraced critical race theory (CRT), as reported by Breitbart News’s Emma-Jo Morris and Breccan Thies….
“CRT proponents claim that America was founded—and the Constitution was drafted—to promote racism and slavery,” she argued. “Ultimately, we cannot expect a critical race theorist to defend and protect the Constitution, because CRT asserts that the Constitution is not worth defending….”
“CRT does not consider how cultural upbringing, mindsets, or family and community involvement can change the trajectory of people’s lives and ultimately address the racial disparities that exist in our society. CRT does not acknowledge that regardless of the struggles that people face in life, we are all individually responsible for the lives we live and the success we attain. Instead, CRT makes race the predominant relevant factor,” she said.
“A judge must maintain independence and the integrity of the law. To do so, she must acknowledge that people are responsible for their actions, despite the racism or setbacks they may have experienced, and that people deserve justice even if CRT defines them as ‘privileged,’” she said. Waves from the sun are moving at speeds that 'defy explanation'
|
|
High-frequency waves swirling on the sun have left scientists confused, as the unexpected bursts of energy are moving at speeds that defy explanation.
A team from New York University's Abu Dhabi Center for Space Science analyzed 25 years of space and ground-based observations of energy waves from our host star.
They discovered a new set of waves moving in the opposite direction of the sun's rotation, inexplicably travelling faster than was theoretically possible.
These waves appear as a pattern of vortices, in a swirling motion, on the surface of the sun and move at three times the speed of other types of waves on the star.
Known as high-frequency retrograde (HFR) waves, they provide unprecedented insight into the inner workings of a star, and could one day lead to new types of physics, as follow up studies try to explain how they can be so fast.
The interior of the sun, like other stars of its type, cannot be imaged by conventional astronomy, whether it be optical, x-ray or infrared techniques.
This means scientists have to rely on interpreting the surface signatures of a variety of waves of light, in order to understand what is happening deep inside. Read More

The Secret Hope Coalition That's Active in Ukraine Today
|
|
The director of an orphanage in Ukraine told the fifty-some children under her care that they could each bring one special item to the bomb shelter. She knew that, in addition to food and a warm place to sleep, the children needed a comfort object—something to help them feel safe. Once in the shelter, she asked them to share what they’d chosen, expecting to see a lot of stuffed animals, photos, and blankets. Instead, one by one, the children showed her their children’s Bibles.
For those children, their Bibles reminded them of something beyond their reality of explosions and fear. I think this highlights an important truth: in times of war, people need more than just bullet-proof vests and MREs; they also need hope.
Research has found that hope has a direct impact on physical well-being. It correlates with having lower levels of depression and with having higher levels happiness and purpose in life. It’s more than blind optimism; it’s the lived expression of the belief that it’s possible for the future to hold good things.
That’s why in our relief efforts, as we care for people’s bodies, we also need to care for their hearts and souls. We need to ensure that on the other side of war, Ukrainians have not only survived; they have maintained—or even found—a reason to live. We need to share the Gospel. We need to share hope. I will meet you, I will meet you,
I will meet you in the morning over there.
If you hasten off to glory,
Linger near the Eastern Gate,
For I’m coming in the morning;
So you’ll not have long to wait.
Refrain
Keep your lamps all trimmed and burning;
For the Bridegroom watch and wait.
He’ll be with us at the meeting
Just inside the Eastern Gate.
Refrain
O the joys of that glad meeting
With the saints who for us wait!
What a blessèd, happy meeting
Just inside the Eastern Gate!
Refrain
