Dershowitz: Manhattan DA Using ‘Made-Up Laws’
in Trump Case
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s reported impending prosecution of former President Donald Trump is based on “made-up laws,” according to prominent legal expert Alan Dershowitz. But even so, Dershowitz said he thinks that Trump would unlikely receive a fair trial in a city that leans heavily blue.

The expert was responding to reports that Trump may soon be indicted on charges surrounding hush money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. That would make Trump the first former president to be criminally charged.

Days before the 2016 presidential election, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 in exchange for her silence on claims that she had an affair with Trump years earlier, which the former president denies. Cohen pleaded guilty to violating federal campaign finance laws in 2018 for arranging payment to Daniels and another woman claiming to have had an affair with Trump. Cohen claims to have done so at Trump’s direction and was reimbursed by the Trump Organization through routine legal expenses.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing, claiming that he’s a victim of extortion.

Bragg’s criminal case appears to be centered on whether Trump falsified business records—a state offense—to cover up Cohen’s campaign finance violations of federal law. “Nobody should ever be arrested based on made-up laws or combining a federal and state statute,” Dershowitz told The Epoch Times in an interview on March 18. “I taught criminal law for 50 years at Harvard, and the one rule was, no creativity is permitted by prosecutors. The law has to be clear.”

He queried Bragg’s apparent attempt to elevate a falsifying-records case to a felony from a misdemeanor by tying it to an alleged violation of federal campaign finance law. “In order to turn the state statute into a felony, you have to borrow a federal statute,” Dershowitz told The Epoch Times in an earlier interview, on March 16. He said that this combining of laws “seems to raise real serious legal questions.” (Epoch Times) Read more

- Thank You Father, for this brilliant legal mind.  He clearly lays out the issues of falsifying and wrong-doing and we pray Just Judge that You arbitrate this matter, according to the way You have already decided, on earth as in heaven.  We strike down every accusation and deception that rises its head seeking to release chaos and division, in Jesus name and we call forth the Spirit of the Living God to release light, truth, and peace upon the people of this nation, and upon President Trump.  Amen.

- "'Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.'"  Then they all said, 'Are You then the Son of God?'  So He said to them, 'You rightly say that I am.'"  (Luke 22:69-70)

Longtime Conservative Activist Has Advice for Trump Supporters Considering Protesting

A longtime conservative activist recommended that supporters of former President Donald Trump “tightly police your gatherings” and to be wary of “provocateurs” after the former president called for protests amid reports that he might be arrested by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office next week.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat, is reportedly investigating Trump for providing $130,000 to adult performer Stormy Daniels. On social media, Trump suggested he would be arrested on Tuesday and called for people to “protest” and “take our nation back,” although Trump did not say where or how people should protest.

Arizona Republican candidate Kari Lake, too, suggested that “peaceful protests” should be in order if Trump is indicted. “And I would remind his critics that the First Amendment of the United States Constitution grants us the right to peaceably assemble,” Lake said in a statement. “We cannot allow ourselves to live in such fear of the left’s infiltration that we surrender our God-given rights without them even asking.”

In response, a longtime conservative activist and Washington D.C. protest organizer, Kristinn Taylor, wrote for The Gateway Pundit that Trump supporters should be especially cautious in the wake of the events that occurred on Jan. 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol.

“With Trump supporters now recognizing that provocateurs and federal agents will attempt to infiltrate protests, my recommendation would be to go ahead and protest—but to tightly police your gatherings. Best to avoid the whole lot of ’em,” he wrote in an article giving “advice” to demonstrators. “I would also tell people who show up in camo or khaki” military fatigues to “get lost,” the activist added. (Epoch Times) Read more.

- Bless You Holy One, for the wisdom and courage being detailed in this article.  We call for Your presence to hover over every protest and Your angelic warriors to fight the battle in the heavenlies, in Jesus name.  We denounce every plan of corrupt systems to arrest people for exercising their 1st Amendment rights.  We pray for Your authority to surround and fill the freedom-defenders as they sustain and uphold our Constitution in the face of threats, in Jesus name.

- "'Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:  "He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.  By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city," Says the Lord.'"  (2 Kings 19:32-33)

Almost 200 US Banks Are at Risk of Silicon Valley
Bank-Like Collapse: Study

Nearly 200 more banks could be vulnerable to the same type of risk that collapsed Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) earlier this month, according to a recently published study.

There are 186 banks across the United States that could collapse if half of their respective uninsured depositors withdraw their funds, researchers with the Social Science Research Network found. Deposits at member banks of up to $250,000 are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., although the agency agreed to insure depositors’ funds far above that after SVB’s collapse this month.

“Combined, losses and uninsured leverage provide incentives for an SVB uninsured depositor run,” an abstract of the paper reads. “We compute similar incentives for the sample of all U.S. banks. Even if only half of uninsured depositors decide to withdraw, almost 190 banks are at a potential risk of impairment to insured depositors, with potentially $300 billion of insured deposits at risk.

“If uninsured deposit withdrawals cause even small fire sales, substantially more banks are at risk. Overall, these calculations suggest that recent declines in bank asset values very significantly increased the fragility of the US banking system to uninsured depositor runs.” (Epoch Times) Read more.

- Holy King, we bless You for Your honorable financial dealings with us.  May the people of God have a heart for giving and put their trust in You more than in the banknote currency.  We pray for our economic system to come under the government leadership that is on Your shoulder and will be stewarded by Godly people, in Jesus name.  We thank You for wisdom to know how to prepare for the coming challenges and we declare that You are the Author and Finisher of the U.S.A.

- "Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!  You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; . . . "  (Psalm 31:19-20a)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israel’s National Security Council Warns Holiday Travelers - Jewish Press

Israel’s National Security Council Counter-Terrorism Division (NSCCTD) has issued its travel warnings for the 2023 spring holiday season as tourism to and from Israel gets underway.

Iran still constitutes the main global terrorist threat and is continuing to advance attacks on Israeli nationals around the world both directly and via its proxies in various countries while violating their sovereignty. In the last two years, several Iranian plans to attack Israeli and Jewish targets have been discovered and thwarted in Georgia, Turkey (Türkiye) and Cyprus, among other countries.

The NSCCTD said it believes that Iran will continue to use terrorist actions as a tool to achieve its main goals and will continue to advance attacks on Israeli and Jewish targets around the world. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu's government revived Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, PA official says - Jerusalem Post

Palestinian officials on Monday expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the security summit with Israel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, while Hamas and other Palestinian factions continued to criticize the Palestinian Authority for participating in the gathering, held under the auspices of the US Representatives of Jordan and Egyptalso took part in the summit.

One Palestinian official said the results of Sunday’s Sharm El-Sheikh summit, as well as the previous summit held in Jordan’s Aqaba resort city on February 26, “show that the Palestinians can work with the government of [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.”

The official told The Jerusalem Post that the “peace process between Israel and the Palestinians has effectively been revived through the two summits.”

He pointed out that the previous government of Naftali Bennet and Yair Lapid had refused to conduct any political negotiations with the Palestinians, keeping the contacts limited to security matters. (Read more)

3. Biden expresses 'concern' over judicial overhaul in call with PM - Israel Hayom

President Joe Biden spoke Sunday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to express "concern" over his government's planned overhaul of the country's judicial system that has sparked widespread protests across Israel and to encourage compromise.

The White House said Biden reiterated US concerns about the measure to roll back the judiciary's insulation from the country's political system, in a call a senior administration official described as "candid and constructive." There was no immediate indication that Netanyahu was shying away from the action, after rejecting a compromise last week offered by the country's figurehead president.
The official, who requested anonymity to discuss the leaders' private call, said that Biden spoke to Netanyahu "as a friend of Israel in the hopes that there can be a compromise formula found." (Read more)

4. Jordan slams Smotrich’s ‘violation of peace treaty,’ summons Israeli ambassador - World Israel News

Jordanian officials were enraged over Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s comments to an audience in France Sunday evening, in which he said that there is no Palestinian nation.

“Who was the first Palestinian king? What language do the Palestinians have? Has there ever been a Palestinian currency? Is there a Palestinian history or culture? There isn’t any,” he said.

In the background was a map of “Greater Israel” that included not only Judea and Samaria, but also Jordan.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry called Smotrich’s presentation a “reckless inflammatory act and a violation of international norms and the peace treaty” between the two countries. It later summoned Israel’s ambassador. (Read more)

5. 'Deri 2 Law' approved by Knesset in first reading - Israel National News

The Knesset plenum on Monday evening approved the first reading of the so-called “Deri 2 Law” which would pave the way for Shas chairman Aryeh Deri’s return to the role of minister.

The law stipulates that the Supreme Court will not be able to hold a judicial review of ministerial appointments. It was approved by a majority of 63 Knesset members who supported the proposal against 55 who opposed it. The bill now be returned to a special Knesset committee for preparations for its second and third readings.

MK Ofir Katz (Likud) presented the proposal and said, "We believe that the proposal will strengthen the position of the judiciary, that it will go back to focusing on those areas in which it has priority and an advantage over the other authorities and will not restrict the legislative authority." 1. Speaker McCarthy: Avoid Protests on Trump Indictment - Newsmax

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Sunday pushed back on former President Donald Trump's call to protest if he's charged in connection to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's investigation into money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

"If this was to happen, we want calmness out there," the California Republican said Sunday during a press conference at the House GOP issues retreat, adding that there should be no "violence or harm," reports The Hill.

Trump said in a Truth Social post Saturday that he expects to be arrested Tuesday, and he called on supporters to "protest, take our nation back" in response.

"I don't think people should protest this stuff," McCarthy commented, but also suggested that the former president was "not talking in a harmful way" but instead was trying to "educate people about what's going on."

"Nobody should harm one another," he said. "This is why you should really make law equal because if that was the case, nothing would happen." (Read more)

- Dear GOD, The unfair bias against the right in American politics is taking its toll. Evil gets ahead of good often and this is driving the upside down social atmosphere that we all feel: wrong is right, right is wrong. The leaders in the present administration are fueling the devil's desires. We beseech YOU to readjust America to its rightful standing, even as we pray for calm to rest upon any anticipated protests that may take place today.

2. Senators demand answers from Fed about California bank failure: ‘Missed clear warning signs’ - Just the News

It’s unclear if other banks will fail soon, but the White House is trying to reassure Americans that they will likely not be impacted.

A bipartisan group of senators is demanding answers about what led to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and what knowledge the federal government may have had about it beforehand.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., and Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., along with numerous other Republican and Democrat senators, said in a letter to Federal Reserve Vice Chair Michael Barr that they are “deeply concerned that regulators may have missed clear warning signs in the lead up to the failure of SVB.”

“It is gravely concerning that retail participants, utilizing only publicly available information, were able to identify clear and compelling examples of financial mismanagement and asset over-concentration at SVB, while the Fed, which can draw even deeper from non-public supervisory information, was unable to ascertain a similar conclusion,” the letter states.

“The fact that the San Francisco Fed, among other regulatory agencies, found no reason to take appropriate regulatory action or even investigate SVB further in the months, weeks, and days prior to the bank’s collapse must be addressed in a manner that restores public confidence in Fed supervision,” they continue. - Lord God we know that this whole financial system that runs the entire world is extremely flawed and completely unstable. They do not have the best interests of the people of the world at heart. But we praise and thank you that you never change! You are always watching over us! We submit this issue to you, Lord, and ask your wisdom on how to fix the instability in the national and global banking systems, in Jesus name. Amen.

3. Wyoming Governor signs a law banning abortion pills - Just the News

Wyoming GOP Gov. Mark Gordon signed a bill that bans the selling of abortion pills in the Cowboy state.

There are already "trigger bans" on abortion pills in Wyoming and 12 other states including Alabama, Arkansas, South Dakota and Tennessee. Trigger bans were bans on most abortions set to go into effect if and when Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, which it was in June of 2022.

Wyoming is the first state to sign off on a separate piece of legislation outlawing the pills.

The ban is set to take effect in July if legal action does not block it. (Read more)

- Father, we lift a joyful PRAISE for this wonderful news of banned abortion pills in the state of Wyoming!!  We declare, in the name of Jesus, that NO obstacles will stand against this decision and this life-giving law will bless the Governor and State of Wyoming for saving innocent lives. We give You ALL the GLORY for answered prayer of protection for babies in the womb!  In the mighty name of Jesus-Amen

4. CBP officers seize $1.5 million of cocaine hidden in watermelon shipment - Just the News

Customs and Border Protection officers in California intercepted a large amount of cocaine hidden inside a shipment of watermelons earlier this week.

The driver of the truck containing the watermelons had a valid border crossing card. He was told to go to a dock to be inspected by the officers.

During the inspection, drug-sniffing dogs sensed something suspicious and it was discovered the truck was carrying 22 wrapped packages of cocaine that weighed a total of around 120 pounds with an estimated street value of approximately $1.5 million. The packages were concealed within the plastic pallets.

The unnamed driver was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. His vehicle was also seized.  (Read more)

- Father God, we are glad that the CBP officers and their canine helpers found such a valuable amount of smuggled cocaine that will not find its way to harm the American public.  We pray that ALL shipments of this dangerous substance will be intercepted and that it will become so unprofitable to send it over the border that it will stop.  We pray for confusion and strife to come to those who are involved in this and that Americans will be so wary of this deceptive substance that no one will risk taking it. Lord, deliver our young people from this trap of the enemy.

- "Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence."  (Psalms 91:3)

5. Biden Moves To Reverse Campus Religious Freedom Rule - Prophecy News Watch

The Biden administration is days away from revoking a federal regulation defending religious liberty on campus, even though critics say the president has offered "no evidence" that religious student groups may not lose their First Amendment rights as a result. The Religious Liberty and Free Inquiry Final Rule, written in 2019 by the Trump administration, allows the federal government to withhold some, or all, federal aid to any college that does not give religious students' groups the same accommodations as other student organizations strictly because of their faith. The Department of Education may also punish universities that violate their own policies to uphold academic freedom or free speech. Trump administration officials believed they needed the leverage of defunding academic institutions to help ensure that public institutions "uphold fundamental rights" guaranteed by the Constitution.

But the Biden administration's Education Department announced its intention to wipe the religious freedom protection off the books in a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) issued on February 21. Democratic regulators say the rule is "not necessary" to protect the First Amendment, because students may sue universities in court. They also say the rule caused "confusion" for college administrators and created "a novel and unduly burdensome role for" the Department of Education.

Not so, says the man who helped institute the rule -- and thousands more people of faith from coast to coast.

"The 'Free Inquiry Rule,' from the Trump-Pence administration, is a necessary and proper means of protecting the free speech and free exercise rights of religious student organizations and their members at public institutions of higher education ('IHEs')," says a public comment on the regulation from the nonprofit organization founded by former Vice President Mike Pence, Advancing American Freedom (AAF). Pence's group says the rule reflects the historical reality that "religious groups (particularly minority religions) are always at risk of having their First Amendment rights infringed." (Read more)

- FATHER GOD, Protect the freedoms of our young adults on college campuses nationwide. The administration has again made rulings or executive decisions infringing on our GOD given Christian rights, and this rule is the only corrective action that WAS going to be on the books of the Trump Administration. GOD help us. AMEN & AMEN

6. Biden urges Netanyahu to compromise on judicial reform - Jerusalem Post

US President Joe Biden spoke on Sunday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and "underscored his belief that democratic values have always been, and must remain, a hallmark of the US-Israel relationship," according to the White House readout of the call.

It was the first conversation between the leaders about the proposed judicial reform. President Biden said that "democratic societies are strengthened by genuine checks and balances, and that fundamental changes should be pursued with the broadest possible base of popular support," the White House statement reads.

In the call, President Biden "offered support for efforts underway to forge a compromise on proposed judicial reforms consistent with those core principles," the White House said. (Read more)

- Father God, we repent for the arrogance of our own "head of state" presuming to weigh in on domestic matters of another sovereign nation, Israel. We stand between this action and the truth that we, as Your people, uphold the sovereignty of the nation of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, even as we cherish our longstanding friendship with Israel. We ask You to please forgive Joe Biden, for he knows not what he does. In Your Holy Name, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

7. Jesus Revolution Producer: 'I've Never Seen Such A Profound Response To A Movie' - Prophecy News Watch

Jon Erwin happened to be doing research for another movie when he stumbled on the iconic cover of Time Magazine from June 21, 1971. A copy in good condition goes for about $2,000 on eBay today, but Jon managed to snatch one up in 2015 -- years before his movie made the psychedelic Jesus a collectors' item.

Back then, making a film about the 1970s revival known as The Jesus Revolution was a distant dream. Today, it's a blockbuster reality -- one that continues to exceed everyone's expectations, in the box office and real life.

The news that "Jesus Revolution" crossed the $45 million mark this past weekend may have been a shock to Hollywood, but to Erwin -- the movie's writer, producer, and director -- it was further proof that he'd happened upon something special eight years ago. He'd been working on another true story, "Woodlawn," when he was "awestruck" by the parallels between the hippie movement's desperation and the desperation of today.

"I'm a filmmaker. I'm curious by nature," he told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on "Washington Watch." "And so I read this article. At the time, you couldn't find it online. It was this 10-page spread about what God was doing at an incredibly similar time of hopelessness and despair. ... And the more I read, the more I felt: Can this happen in my generation? Can this happen in my life?" At 40, Jon said, "nothing like this has ever happened to us." "And the more I studied it the more I wanted to make a movie."

"That the movie came out as revivals are happening around the nation is so cool. And I love all the movies that we've gotten to make, but I've never seen such an incredibly profound response to a movie and, and lives changed as people watch it. So it's a privilege to get to bring this movie to the screen." (Read more)
- Heavenly FATHER, Thank YOU for this movie, "Jesus Revolution" which is showing GODS Love for strangers, who are brothers & sisters in Christ. People need these reminders of how the Gospel is supposed to work. We ask that this movie touches every soul that needs touching and the box office gross completely floors the Hollyweird crowd. AMEN & AMEN

- "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2)

 8. Earthquake Leaves More Than a Dozen Dead, Others Trapped in South America - Newsweek

At least 15 people died in the South American nations of Ecuador and Peru on Saturday after an earthquake struck—leaving others trapped under rubble.

The U.S. Geological Survey measured the earthquake at a magnitude of 6.8, reporting that it struck at a depth of just over 41 miles and about 6 miles from the city of Balao located in the southern province of Guayas in Ecuador, Reuters reported. Authorities said they do not expect a tsunami to follow.

"Ecuadorian families are not alone. The National Government is always there to offer you all its support," Ecuador's President Guillermo Lasso wrote on Twitter. "The Government has been activated on an emergency basis and the necessary care is provided to those affected by this tremor," the official account for Ecuador's presidential spokesperson tweeted.

The Associated Press reported that 14 deaths had been confirmed in Ecuador and 1 death had been reported in neighboring Peru. Peru's Prime Minister Alberto Otárola said the victim in his country was a 4-year-old girl, who died after the collapse of her home near the border of Ecuador, according to the news agency. The Daily Jot

To Prevail With Grace, Wisdom And Action

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, March 20, 2023

In June 2009, then President Obama said, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation—at least, not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.” At the time, the Christian population in the United States was estimated at over 80 percent. Nowadays, Pew Research estimates the US population at about 63% Christian. Technically, America is a secular nation, a Constitutional Republic. The majority of its population are varying shades of Christians. The “Christianity” of this nation has been worn down over the years—abortion, sexual agendas, socialism, restrictions on religious free speech, etc., all have taken their toll.

These policy changes would not have happened without Christian votes and Christian support, or Christian apathy. Romans 13:1 says, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Who are we as mere humans to question the sovereignty of God? As a majority nation of Christians, we have allowed a distinct minority to remove God from the public square and establish the things abhorrent to God as everyday staples of American living. From our language to the way we dress to the terrible media that we view and listen to, to the apostasy that we accept as Christians, we have not occupied well. We have allowed the world to invade our way of life rather than our faith invading the world. We voted for what we have or didn’t stand against it, and God allowed it. Read More

Why there hasn't been a full Senate vote in seven months — and the problems it causes both parties

The Senate has had attendance problems in the last seven months, with at least one senator missing from the roll call in every vote since August 2022.

The 51-49 Democratic-held Senate has been reduced to a 49-48 Senate thanks to absences by both parties, with that number fluctuating from day to day, causing roadblocks in the upper chamber of Congress.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) have no timetable for when they plan to return to the Senate. McConnell, 81, is recovering from a concussion suffered during a fall. Fetterman, 53, is receiving treatment for depression, and Feinstein, 89, is receiving treatment for shingles.

McConnell's absence has required Sen. John Thune (R-SD) to run the GOP conference with assistance from McConnell's aides, while Sen. Bob Casey's (D-PA) staff has had to fulfill constituent requests and work on legislation for Fetterman, per Politico.

The long-term absences have led to some senators feeling less obligated to show up to some hearings and votes, as there is no critical legislation being debated.

Democrats hoped the 51-49 majority they won in the 2022 midterm elections would allow for more judicial nominees and legislation to get passed after two years of a 50-50 Senate, but long-term absences have halted those plans.

The Senate map for the 2024 election favors the GOP, as Democrats are on defense in numerous battleground or Republican-leaning states, including Montana, Ohio, and West Virginia. (Washington Examiner) Read more.

Lord God, we pray for unity in the Senate, and in Congress that they would all put their differences aside and work hard for the American people. Help all of our representatives realize that they are servants here to serve the American people. In Your Name, Amen.

Rep. Comer: 'Theres's Going to End Up Being Between Four and Seven Bidens Who Received Significant Amounts of Money from Communist China'

The steady drip-drip of new information on alleged Biden family influence-peddling continues to come from Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.

On Wednesday, Comer said he recently learned that four members of the Biden family -- not three, but four -- "were receiving money from various influence-peddling schemes around the world."

But on Thursday, Comer said: "there's going to end up being between four and seven Bidens who received significant amounts of money from Communist China. The money is what we're following," Comer told Fox News's Sean Hannity on Thursday:

"We're following the money that ended up in the Bidens' pockets. The thing that every American should be concerned about is, what exactly was the service the Bidens were providing? Because I can tell you what our whistle-blowers have told us.

"They were trying to help China do all the things that this Congress is in a bipartisan way trying to block China from doing. They were trying to help China get their foot in the door on the American energy," Comer said, as Hannity interrupted him. (Read more)

North Korea’s Kim Jong Un calls for nuclear attack preparedness on US, South Korea
State media claims more than 1.4 million North Koreans have volunteered to join or re-enlist in the military

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called on his country to be ready to launch a nuclear attack to deter war as he accused the U.S. and South Korea of carrying out military drills with American nuclear assets, according to state media.

Kim's remarks, carried on state media KCNA, came after the Hermit Kingdom launched a short-range ballistic missile toward the sea on Sunday. The missile flew across the country and landed in the sea off its east coast, according to South Korean and Japanese assessments – which reported that the missile traveled a distance of about 500 miles.

Kim, who oversaw the test, said the exercises improved the military's actual war capability and highlighted the need to ensure its readiness posture for any "immediate and overwhelming nuclear counterattack" through such drills.

KCNA quoted Kim as saying the North "urgently" needed to bolster up its nuclear war deterrence exponentially as the enemies "are getting ever more pronounced in their moves for aggression against" his country.

"The nuclear force of the DPRK will strongly deter, control and manage the enemy's reckless moves and provocations with its high war readiness, and carry out its important mission without hesitation in case of any unwanted situation," Kim was quoted as saying.

- Father God, as Your watchmen on the wall, we do keep a watchful eye upon the nation of North Korea. Although we doubt that every statement made by Kim Jong Un is accurate or true, nevertheless we do recognize their military power.

Lord God, we ask that you visit Kim Jong Un with a wave of repentance -- that even the glorious move of revival that is now sweeping the globe would reach his heart and change him into a new man. We praise You, O Lord, for nothing is too difficult for Thee! Amen and amen.

- "But at the end of those days I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity was restored to me. Then I praised the Most High, and I honored and glorified Him who lives forever: “For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation." (Daniel 4:34)
Russia's Putin, China's Xi Jinping meet in Moscow, call each other 'dear friend'
Russia's Putin, China's Xi Jinping meet in Moscow, call each other 'dear friend'

Chinese President Xi Jinping kicked off his three-day state visit to Russia Monday by shaking hands and meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with both leaders calling the other "dear friend."

The meeting in Moscow marked Xi’s first international trip this year and comes just days after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Putin, citing his alleged involvement in the abduction of Ukrainian children.

At the beginning of the sit-down, Putin congratulated Xi on his recent re-election and hailed China’s proposed 12-point peace plan for ending the bloody war in Ukraine.

"We will discuss all those issues, including your initiative that we highly respect," Putin said, according to The Associated Press. "Our cooperation in the international arena undoubtedly helps strengthen the basic principles of the global order and multipolarity." (Fox News) Read more

- Father God, the fact that the Chinese President will be staying in Russia for THREE DAYS signals that some very serious discussions are taking place. Although we know not what Xi is up to, You do, Lord God, for You are the Omniscient One. We cast the care of these discussions upon You, Holy One, asking that Your angels work to diffuse these talks and allow nothing to be agreed upon that is outside of Your perfect will, for China, for Russia and for their allies. We praise You, O God, for You are in control of the affairs of men. Praise God!

- "Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
For the Lord Most High is awesome;
He is a great King over all the earth.
He will subdue the peoples under us,
And the nations under our feet."

(Psalm 47:1-3)
Xi: China's proposal on Ukraine reflects unity of global views
Xi: China's proposal on Ukraine reflects unity of global views

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday that Beijing's proposal on how to solve the Ukraine crisis reflects global views and seeks to neutralize consequences, but acknowledged that the solutions are not easy.

"The document serves as a constructive factor in neutralizing the consequences of the crisis and promoting a political settlement. Complex problems do not have simple solutions."

Xi has been seeking to present China as a global peacemaker and project it as a responsible great power. China has publicly remained neutral in the Ukraine conflict while criticizing Western sanctions against Russia and reaffirming its close ties with Moscow. (Jerusalem Post) Read more.

- Father God, we reject these statements as not being according to Your will for the people of the earth. You have come to set us free; these communists intend to do the opposite. We take up the Sword of the Spirit, and we come against the principalities and powers that are working to bring us into this slavery. There will be a time when the Antichrist will take over, and we will live as slaves . . . but that time is not now. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayers, in Jesus' mighty name, amen and amen.

- "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.. . And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.. . " (Ephesians 6:12,17)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Don’t Miss Eclipses: NASA Releases New Map
of Upcoming Solar Eclipses
Where will you be for the 2023 and 2024 solar eclipses in the United States?

NASA has released a new map that could help you decide.

Based on observations from several NASA missions, the map details the path of the Moon’s shadow as it crosses the contiguous U.S. during the annular solar eclipse on October 14, 2023, and total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.

These dark paths across the continent show where observers will need to be to see the “ring of fire” when the Moon blocks all but the outer edge of the Sun during the annular eclipse, and the ghostly-white outer atmosphere of the Sun (the corona) when the Moon completely blocks the Sun’s disk during the total eclipse.

Outside those paths, the map also shows where and how much the Sun will be partially eclipsed by the Moon. On both dates, all 48 contiguous states in the U.S. will experience at least a partial solar eclipse (as will Mexico and most of Canada). Read More

40 Gang Members Crash Revival with Mario Murillo
A palpable presence of God covered Mario Murillo's, Bakersfield tent revival as gang members poured in from the streets riddled with fentanyl overdoses. As soon as their feet hit the tent grounds they knew they were walking through in desperate need of one thing, Jesus. In a Charisma News interview, Murillo describes an unprecedented unity among the local churches as the national yearning for God continues to grow in the country. Bakersfield is located right off the Kern River, just north of Los Angeles, California. "There is no doubt the laws of science are being overruled," Murillo says. "Life-long physical body injuries are being healed along with emotional trauma."

Murillo and his ministry chose to leave the Christian corridor of the city and pitch the tent right next to the infamous local strip club. "Gang bangers have been converted," he says. In fact, 40 gang members showed up to the revival and 20 of them repented of their sins and gave their lives to Jesus. It's truly a remarkable moment. The crowds aren't filled with Christians, they are mostly filled with unbelievers. Murillo preaches the Word of God, piercing the hearts of the crowd and bringing an awareness of sin and the decision of everlasting life. The city, ravaged by the devil, is experiencing a visitation from the Lord. An opportunity to turn from their wicked ways, into the loving arms of Christ.

Eighteen months ago, Murillo had a moment with God similar to Elijah on Mount Carmel. God spoke to him and asked him in faith to write a book about the coming harvest in America. Faithfully, Murillo wrote "'It's Our Turn Now," as a manual to help the body of Christ prepare for what was to come. A movement far greater than the Jesus Movement. We have clearly seen that word from the Lord come to pass. Revival hit Asbury University and has awakened churches across America, bringing the dead back to life. Christian films, like Jesus Revolution, have outperformed at the box office, revealing something surprising. Christians in America aren't lukewarm, they are hungry for the real thing.(Charisma News) Read More

Awaken hungry hearts to desire You above all things that our nation will be forever changed because of Your presence, love and redemption. We ask You to provide and prepare the hearts and hands of workers for the harvest that is to come! In Jesus mighty name-Amen

- "Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Scripture: When He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2

Lyrics:
As I journey thro’ the land,
Singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary—
To the crimson flow,
Many arrows pierce my soul
From without, within;
But my Lord leads me on,
Thro’ Him I must win.

Refrain
O I want to see Him,
Look upon His face,
There to sing forever
Of His saving grace;
On the streets of glory
Let me lift my voice,
Cares all past, home at last,
Ever to rejoice.

Refrain

When in service for my Lord
Dark may be the night,
But I’ll cling more close to Him,
He will give me light;
Satan’s snares may vex my soul,
Turn my tho’ts aside;
But my Lord goes ahead,
Leads whate’er betide.

Refrain

When in valleys low I look
Tow’rd the mountain height,
And behold my Savior there,
Leading in the fight,
With a tender hand outstretched
Tow’rd the valley low,
Guiding me, I can see,
As I onward go.

Refrain

When before me billows rise
From the mighty deep,
Then my Lord directs my bark;
He doth safely keep,
And He leads me gently on
Thro’ this world below;
He’s a real friend to me,
O I love Him so.

Refrain
