GOOD NEWS!

Tonight the Senate BLOCKED the passage of H.R.3755 by a vote of  48 nays to 46 yays. Here are the details:

No Republicans voted for it. Not even those that sometimes vote for abortion like Murkowski and Collins. This bill was too extreme for them.

Senator Manchin was the only Democrat to vote against the bill.

6 Senators did not vote, 3 R, 3 D.

Satellite images: Large Russian convoy moving toward Kyiv

Maxar satellite imagery showed a 3.25-mile long convoy of Russian ground forces 40 miles northeast of Kyiv moving toward the capital city on Sunday.

Why it matters: According to Maxar, the convoy contains hundreds of armored vehicles including tanks and self-propelled artillery, fuel and logistics. U.S. and Ukrainian officials believe Russia's primary military objective is to encircle Kyiv and topple the government.

(Meanwhile) Ukrainian and Russian officials arrived at the Ukraine-Belarus border for peace talks that kicked off at 6am ET Monday, as President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Day 5 of the invasion that the next 24 hours would be "crucial" to Ukraine's fate.

The latest: An adviser to Zelensky tweeted at 9:40am ET that a third round of talks were getting underway, nearly four hours after negotiations began. (Read more)

- Father God, as we see the Russian bear "bearing down" upon Ukraine, we give You this entire matter. There are many and varied opinions now among the intercessors about this unfolding crisis: whether it be of You, or not. We release this matter fully into Your hands, knowing that You have a plan in this situation, and that You have everything under Your control.. We praise You, O God, for You are Lord. Amen.

"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." (Romans 8:26)

Capitol Police Fence Off Capitol Ahead of Biden's First State Of The Union

U.S. Capitol Police said they will be fencing off the Capitol once more in anticipation of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday and the expected arrival of trucker protests in the following weeks.

“Out of an abundance of caution, and in conjunction with the United States Secret Service, a plan has been approved to put up the inner-perimeter fence around the Capitol building for the State of the Union Address,” U.S. Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger said in a statement.

Manger added that he has asked for security help from outside law enforcement.

Meanwhile, truckers in the U.S. are trying to recreate protests against COVID-19 policies that broke out in Canada in January. . U.S. Defense Secretary Austin Lloyd last week authorized the deployment of 700 unarmed National Guard troops to provide support with traffic control during the upcoming protests, following requests by Capitol Police and the D.C. government.

“Guard members will not carry firearms or take part in law enforcement or domestic-surveillance activities,” a D.C. National Guard statement said. (Huffington Post)

- Father God, it saddens our hearts to see this kind of activity happening, once again, on Capitol Hill. Lord, this action shows us that our leaders fear us -- their citizens -- rather than trust us as we lift our voices in a free democracy, letting our opinions be made known. We ask by a move of miraculous, divine intervention, that this fear would be removed and trust re-established, once again. We repent, O Lord, that we have now sunk to this level of governing in America. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- " . . .  if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israel fears Western appeasement of Russia emboldens Iran - JNS

(February 28, 2022 / JNS) The United States, China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany—known as the P5+1—appear to be closing in on a deal with Iran over its ongoing nuclear-weapons program. At the same time, Israeli officials view Western reactions to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine with extreme unease because allowing him to invade without consequence has not only emboldened Moscow but likely encouraged other nefarious actors as well.

Namely, Iran.

Michael Doran, a senior fellow and director of the Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East at Hudson Institute, believes that an agreement with Iran “puts Israel in a pickle.”

“It turns the U.S., in effect, into a kind of guardian of the Iranian nuclear-weapons program,” he said. “If Israel launches large-scale attacks against the program, it risks getting into a major war that the U.S. opposes. If it opts for sabotage, tensions with Washington will rise. The coalition, which hangs on by a thread, would be endangered.” (Read more)

2. Israel Sending 100 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine as Russian Invasion Expands - Algemeiner

Israel announced Sunday that it is sending 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine to help civilians trapped in combat zones and those trying to flee the country amid an intensifying Russian invasion.

The assistance is expected to arrive over the next two days, and includes “water purification kits, medical equipment as well as drugs, tents, blankets, sleeping bags and additional equipment for civilians who are not in their homes in the cold winter weather,” Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Sunday.

He expressed hope that the fighting will cease before the humanitarian toll “will be much worse than we can even imagine,” and commended the Foreign Ministry for its efforts to assist Israeli citizens fleeing the conflict. Some 2,000 Israelis are believed to have left Ukraine since the outbreak of hostilities. (Read more)

3. Israeli Anti-Tank Weapons Heading to Ukraine - Jewish Press

Israeli anti-tank weapons systems manufactured in Germany at a factory owned by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems are heading to Ukraine, according to a report by the Hebrew-language Calcalist news outlet.

The 1,000 Panzerfaust 3 anti-tank rocket launcher systems were being delivered to Ukraine by Germany and the Netherlands.

In approving the move, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Saturday that the Russian invasion of Ukraine “marks a turning point,” adding that it was Germany’s “duty” to do its best to support Ukraine in defending itself against “Putin’s invading army.”

No Israeli approval was required for the transfer because Germany had financed development of the system before Rafael acquired the Dynamite Nobel AG plant, located in Burbach, north of Frankfurt. (Read more)

4. Israel readying for 10,000 immigrants from Ukraine in coming weeks - exclusive - Jerusalem Post

Israel's government estimates that around 10,000 Ukrainians will immigrate to Israel in the coming weeks, government officials told The Jerusalem Post on Saturday.

The Ministry of Immigration and Absorption would not comment on this estimate, but responded saying: "The Ministry of Immigration and Absorption is prepared for the emergency immigration of Ukrainian Jews, and in view of the escalation in Ukraine, the ministry, headed by Minister Tamano Shata, is preparing all sectors to assist and absorb any Jew seeking to immigrate to Israel."

"In light of the drastic increase in applications for immigration from Ukraine and in view of the security situation in the region", the ministry said that Tamano-Shata and Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman agreed on providing additional budgets to actualize the emergency immigration operation from Ukraine. (Read more)

5. Israel cuts off ‘oxygen supply’ to Hamas, seizes cryptocurrency - World Israel News

Defense Minister Benny Gantz signed a seizure order for cryptocurrency amounting to tens of thousands of shekels from 12 digital accounts, his media spokesperson announced Monday.

This includes about 30 digital wallets belonging to businesses that assisted the Al’matchadun currency exchange company owned by the Shamlach family and designated as a terror organization.

The Shamlach family owned a portion of the seized cryptocurrency.

Through the currency exchange companies it owns, the family assists the Hamas terror organization, particularly its military arm, by transferring tens of millions of dollars per year. As such, the companies were designated terror organizations. (Read more)

1.  Senate Begins Work on Confirming Jackson to Supreme Court - NBC

President Joe Biden's Supreme Court pick, Ketanji Brown Jackson, has begun preparing for a high-stakes confirmation battle to become the first Black woman on the Supreme Court.

Biden's choice, announced Friday, was met with effusive praise by Democratic leaders and progressives. The decision faced pushback from conservative advocates and some skepticism from Republicans, although many kept the door open to backing Jackson, a former public defender who is a judge on the influential U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

The process now moves over to the 50-50 Senate, where Democrats' top priority is to keep all their members together for Jackson. That would be enough to confirm her — Republicans abolished the 60-vote filibuster rule for Supreme Court nominations in 2017 — although the White House and Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Dick Durbin, D-Ill., say their goal is to also win Republican votes.

Durbin, who wants to complete the process by April 9, said the committee has sent the White House the traditional questionnaire for a Supreme Court nominee and expects a reply "very shortly." After that, he said, Jackson will meet with senators "as soon as possible."

"We have an advantage in this case because this judge, Ketanji Brown Jackson, has been before the committee as recently as last year," Durbin said Sunday on CNN, vowing to work hard to achieve a "united and strong" caucus and draw some GOP votes. (Read more)

Father God, we pray You uncover any trouble or anti-God aspects that may lie ahead by confirming Jackson to the Supreme Court.  This is a critical position that we ask You to fill with a God-fearing individual.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "For God has maintained my right and my cause; You sit in the throne judging right."  (Psalm 9:4)

2. White House dropping mask mandate before Biden State of the Union: official - Fox News

The White House will no longer require people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear face masks on the premises, beginning Tuesday, March 1, a White House official told Fox News.

The lifting of the requirement will come just hours before President Biden is set to deliver his first State of the Union address before Congress.

The White House's decision follows a similar one from Congress’ Office of the Attending Physician, who said that masks will be optional on the House floor for the president's speech, likely avoiding the optics of masked lawmakers gathered for the event, two years into the coronavirus pandemic. (Read more)

- Lord, this motive to avoid the bad "optics" is another deception designed to help Biden's sagging poll numbers. We pray for the American people to have discernment and truth to see through the falsehoods.

3. Alabama arm of truckers’ convoy to set out from Dodge City | News | enewscourier.com

North Alabama will serve as the jumping-off point for the state’s contingent of the Freedom Convoy to Washington, D.C., a nationwide truckers’ movement calling for an official end to all mandates and restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under way since Wednesday from southern California, the convoy is heading eastward in a “peaceful and unified transcontinental movement,” according to organizers, and is a coordinated effort of conservative and constitutional civil liberties groups including The Unity Project, The America Project, Advocates for Citizens’ Rights, U.S. Freedom Flyers, The American Foundation for Civil Liberties & Freedom, as well as truckers, trucking companies, and various faith groups from across the U.S.

The Alabama-based segment of the convoy is set to assemble at the Dodge City Petro truck stop on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10:30 a.m. Dodge City marks the northernmost gathering point for Alabama truckers taking part in the movement, which will take on additional drivers as it heads south down Interstate 65 toward I-10. The convoy will also stop in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile, before turning east toward Jacksonville, Florida, where truckers will then head north to join the main contingent on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. (Read more)

-  Lord, we pray Your protection over this convoy, and that You would grant wisdom to all who participate. Let no such thing as occurred in Canada happen to them, and may all remain safe.

- “For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:3-4)

4. Swalwell Cozied Up to Lobbyist for ‘Putin’s Pipeline’ While Accusing GOP of Enabling Russia - Free Beacon

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.), who has accused Republicans of enabling Russia, took maximum campaign donations from a top lobbyist for Nord Stream 2 AG, the company behind an oil transportation project dubbed "Putin’s pipeline."
Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, received $2,900 last year from Vincent Roberti Sr., the chairman of lobbying powerhouse Roberti Global. Roberti gave $5,400 to Swalwell’s campaign in 2018. Roberti Global received $2.4 million in 2021 from Nord Stream 2 AG, a Switzerland-based subsidiary of Russian oil giant Gazprom. Critics of the 761-mile pipeline have long said it would allow Vladimir Putin to tighten his grip on Eastern Europe. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will judge Swalwell for all that he has done to damage the United States in any way. We pray that You will drive him to repentance on his knees, that he would recognize You as the Living God.

6. China's Xi, in message to N.Korea's Kim, vows cooperation under 'new situation' - Reuters

Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un the significance of cooperation between the two countries, North Korea's state media KCNA reported on Saturday.

In a message to Kim, Xi said China is ready to work, together with the Korean side, to steadily develop the China-DPRK relations of friendship and cooperation ... "under a new situation", KCNA said.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is North Korea's official name.

KCNA did not further elaborate on the nature of "a new situation."

Earlier this week, Kim, in a verbal message to Xi, vowed to strengthen cooperation with China and together "frustrate" threats and hostile policies from the United States and its allies(Read more)

7. China throws Putin another sanction-busting lifeline - Daily Mail

China has thrown Russia's Vladimir Putin another sanction-busting lifeline by lifting wheat import restrictions in an economic boost to Moscow.

President Xi Jinping has backed keeping China fully open to wheat imports from Russia in spite of sweeping sanctions imposed by the West in a bid to stop Putin's war in Ukraine.
Imports had been restricted in recent months over concern over Russia's measures to prevent plant diseases, particularly in agricultural crops.

The move to keep the market open was reportedly part of a deal between Moscow and Beijing concluded earlier this month and is the latest sign of growing ties between the two states.

Russia, the world's largest exporter of wheat, exported more than 30 million tonnes of the product from January through November last year. The same year, Moscow sent 9.8 per cent of its total agricultural exports, including cereals, fishery products, meat and dairy to China.

It comes after experts predicted yesterday that China could buy more Russian energy and lend Moscow cash to help Putin weather sanctions imposed over his invasion of Ukraine. (Read more)

- Lord, as these enemies conspire together to avoid sanctions, we ask that You intervene to stop them.

- “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”       (Deut 31:6)

 8. In policy shift, Berlin to deliver defensive weapons to Ukraine - National Post

Germany will supply Ukraine with defensive anti-tank weapons, surface-to-air missiles and ammunition, the government said on Saturday, in a shift of policy as Russia’s forces continued to pound Kyiv and other cities on day three of its campaign. After facing criticism for refusing to send weapons to Kyiv, unlike other Western allies, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Berlin will supply Ukraine with 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger surface-to-air missiles from Bundeswehr stocks.

“The Russian invasion of Ukraine marks a turning point. It is our duty to do our best to support Ukraine in defending itself against Putin’s invading army,” Scholz said on Twitter.

Berlin also approved the delivery of 400 RPGs from the Netherlands and a request by Estonia to pass on old GDR howitzers to Ukraine. Finland had bought the howitzers in the 90s after the fall of the Berlin wall, and later re-sold them to Estonia.

Germany has a long-standing policy of not exporting weapons to war zones, rooted partly in its bloody 20th-century history and resulting pacifism. Countries aiming to pass on German weapons exports need to apply for approval in Berlin first. Scholz had repeatedly referred to this policy in recent weeks when refusing to deliver lethal weapons to Ukraine.

- Almighty God, we pray Germany is used to defend Ukraine.  We ask that Putin be used of God to route out the enemies of Ukraine inside its borders.  Protect the Christians there and block Communist invasion by the power of Christ  Strengthen its president to hold to God and pursue victory over the infighting of his nation.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."  (Psalm 9:9)

9. Ukrainians face long wait at borders as officials seek to ease bottlenecks - One America News

MEDYKA, Poland/UBLA, Slovakia (Reuters) – Poland sought to ease passage into the European Union on Monday for around quarter of a million Ukrainians waiting at European border crossings in freezing conditions after fleeing the Russian invasion of their country. With men of conscription age prevented from leaving Ukraine, groups of mainly women and children arrived at borders in eastern Poland, Slovakia and Hungary and in northern and northeastern Romania.

Wait times to cross borders ranged from a few hours at small crossings to more than a day at busier ones such as Medyka in Poland where lines on the Ukraine side stretched back dozens of kilometres.

“The queues are huge,” said Polish prime minister’s chief of staff Michal Dworczyk, who added border police were allowing in people without documents and that the government was talking with Ukrainian counterparts about simplifying procedures. “If we count the functioning border points there are certainly over a quarter of a million people at the borders,” he said.

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv tweeted that Ukrainian border guards were waiving exit screening procedures for women and children to reduce wait times as snow began falling. More than 300,000 people have entered the European Union since fighting started last week and officials are preparing to deal with increasing numbers.

The invasion has sparked an exodus which EU officials have said could displace 7 million people. The European Union is also preparing to grant Ukrainians who flee the war the right to stay and work in the 27-nation bloc for up to three years. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we thank you for the understanding response of the European Union to allow Ukrainians passage into their countries.  Protect each and every one of them to be able to withstand the weather while awaiting passage.  Lord, we pray for a change in the weather that will make it tolerable for those waiting in long lines.  Overshadow them with Your incredible grace and Your amazing warm temperatures that will come down on eastern Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.  In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- "But I have trusted in God's mercy; our hearts shall rejoice in Your salvation."  (Psalm 13:5)

10. Ukrainian Christians Urge World to Pray: 'It's Our Weapon in Times of War - Christian Headlines

Christian ministries in Ukraine are urging believers throughout the country not to fear, saying their mission remains unchanged even as Russia’s military continues its attack on their land. “Remember how many times God in His Word says 'don't be afraid,'" Kyiv Theological Seminary, located in the Ukrainian capital, wrote on its Facebook page.

Ukraine is one the most Christian nations in Europe, with 78 percent of the population identifying with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 10 percent with the Roman Catholic Church and 2 percent calling themselves evangelical.

In Kyiv, where citizens flee to the subways during bomb raids, Kyiv Theological Seminary is encouraging its students and staff to help their neighbors "pack" and "prepare the groceries they need. Collect the necessary things to go to the shelter at the right time," said the Facebook post from Kyiv Theological Seminary. "... Let not fear control us. … Let us trust in the Lord, do not panic."

The seminary’s post included the text of Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Valery Antonyuk, president of the Ukrainian Baptist Union, quoted Psalm 23 in a video message and urged the world to pray, saying prayer is "our weapon in times of war." (Read more)

- Almighty God, it has been told that Putin bombed the location in Ukraine where the Mafia and several strongholds of wickedness wERE located.  For this we give thanks to the Lord.  We ask that You speak ARISE by the Holy Spirit in Ukraine and all those who name the Name of Jesus will be strengthened with might and power.  Send revival of the holiness of God to Ukraine as You predestine many souls to be brought into the Kingdom of God.  We pray in Jesus' Name.

- "Arise, shine; for Your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you."  (Is. 60:1-2)
The Daily Jot

The Compromised President

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 28, 2022

The news media and the Democratic Party are trying to make stick a weaponized narrative that conservatives, and former President Donald Trump in particular, are supporting Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his invasion of Ukraine. Not the case. Lost on these frenzied virtue signalers is the irony. Saying that Putin is brilliant in the way that he went about Ukraine is a backhand slap to the man who is seriously lacking any brilliance in preventing and responding to Russia’s cold war aggression—Joe Biden. Biden, who appears to be channeling Neville Chamberlain with his weak and feckless approach to the Russian invasion, is no less than what Americans get when they allow a compromised candidate in office.

The rabid media and democrat blame-pointers cannot dare see the nuance of saying how smart a murderous dictator is when the guy in charge of the free world is hardly a match. Doing so would expose their own hypocrisy and underhanded dealings. That’s the very sad reality of this situation. And it’s nothing that wasn’t warned about prior to the election. There is no way that Biden can be an effective foreign affairs standard-bearer for the United States when Russia and China—the two most powerful threats to freedom—have Biden in their pockets. He risks ruining, not only his reputation in the eyes of those who voted for him, but also his family’s financial empire. Not to mention he and former President Barack Obama’s most favored terrorist threat, Iran, to whom they gave billions in cash on pallets. Read More

Four Prayer Requests from Rick Ridings
Some ways to pray in view of the Russian invasion of Ukraine:

1. Pray that this war will be limited and over quickly, and not
escalate into a great loss of life in Ukraine, or into a WW3.

There is a precedent for this, when after a Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008, a cease-fire was brokered within f5 days.
2. Pray for the large Jewish and messianic Jewish community in Ukraine to clearly hear the Lord if they are to use this opportunity to make Aliya to Israel.
3. Pray for the large evangelical community in Ukraine to be protected, and to be able to use this situation to see a great harvest amongst the Ukrainians. Ulraine has been a beacon of religious liberty and has many Evangelicals in positions of government influence.
4. Pray that this Russian move will not embolden Iran to move against Israel.
> > > Continue to pray that the word of the Lord will strike like lightning against the demonic powers that would seek to bring Russia, Iran and Turkey into an evil alliance.

Praying for the Women in Ukraine

With Anne Graham Lotz

The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight… Esther 2:17

As a result of the king’s love and favor, Esther was made queen. From her unique position God used her to intercede for His people, and they were saved from slaughter.

This is a rallying cry for “Esthers” around the globe to intercede for God’s people who are under attack in Ukraine. To be honest, because of the almost non-stop attacks and suffering in my own family, I have sought to shield my heart from what is taking place in Eastern Europe. But no more. My heart is shattered. I well remember holding Just Give Me Jesus in Kyiv in 2005, which was attended by thousands of women. I can still hear their voices lifted in worship. I can still see their faces as they discovered how to hear God’s voice speaking to them through His word. I weep when I remember their uplifted white flags of surrender to the Lordship of Jesus.

I wonder…where are they now?

Now, when under attack from Russia?  Now, when no nation is coming to their defense? Now, when husbands, brothers, and sons are kissing them good-bye before going out to resist the aggression, leaving these dear women defenseless with their children? So for those of us who are “Esthers” beloved by the King, let’s take up the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Then join me as we pray for all the saints in Ukraine, but in particular for the women…

To pray with Anne, please go here.

NOAA's newest weather tool is about to debut in grand fashion
Meteorological spring will start off with a blast as a new weather satellite is launched into space -- a mission that will keep a close eye on part of the U.S. for more than a decade.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) fleet of weather-watching satellites is about to get an upgrade as the agency teams up with NASA to launch a new spacecraft that could help with wildfire detection and drought predictions across the western United States.

The GOES-T satellite will blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Tuesday afternoon on a journey to a celestial outpost 22,000 miles above the Earth's surface known as geostationary orbit.

This unique orbit is more than 85 times farther away than the International Space Station and will allow the weather satellite to provide meteorologists with a fixed view of the same area of the globe year-round.

After reaching orbit, GOES-T will be renamed GOES-18.

AccuWeather National Reporter Bill Wadell will be in Florida for the launch on March 1, the first day of meteorological spring, at 4:38 p.m. EST. There is currently a 70% chance of favorable weather for launch on Tuesday with the primary concerns being cumulus clouds and the threat of lightning. Read More

The Good News Corner
'We Need More Bibles': Ukrainian Store Runs Out of Bibles as Some Encounter Scripture For 'First Time Ever' Amid Russian Crisis
The thirst for hope and the spread of uncertainty have been so rampant in Ukraine that at least one Christian store has totally run out of Bibles. Robert L. Briggs, president and CEO of American Bible Society, wrote a commentary Thursday for Christianity Today, explaining how Christians in Ukraine are responding to the Russian crisis.

“As people grapple with unknown, many are experiencing the Bible’s message for the first time ever,” Briggs wrote. “According to [Anatoliy Raychynets, deputy general secretary of the Ukrainian Bible Society], priests and pastors over the past weeks have been flocking to the Bible Society store in Kyiv to buy Bibles.” The situation has been so intense the store reportedly ran out of Bibles, with Raychynets telling Briggs their biggest challenge is getting enough copies of scripture to meet the demand. “We need more Bibles,” he said.

Raychynets also revealed another crucial restorative detail about his relationship with Christian leaders in Russia, revealing that they communicate and have been united in Christ. In a world of such toxic division — and amid tensions that do anything other than unite opposing sides — this is a powerful testament to the fruit of the Gospel in people’s lives.
“We speak to our colleagues in Russia,” he told Briggs. “We church leaders speak to one another, and we pray together. We are united in the Lord.”

As Faithwire previously reported, the Ukrainian people’s faith has been stunning to see. This week, CNN captured a touching moment during which Ukrainians kneeled in prayer. And Raychynets previously shared how Christians and Jews have come together to pray Psalm 31 over their plight. (CBN) Read more here.
- Father God, we rejoice at this Good News report today! We thank You that You have now unleashed a hunger for God's Word among the people of Ukraine! Praise You, Lord! Amen.

- "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive." (Genesis 50:20)

Classic Hymns

Count Your Blessings

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words: Johnson Oatman
Music: Edwin Excell

Scripture:

Lyrics:
When upon life’s billows
You are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged,
Thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings,
Name them one by one,
And it will surprise you
What the Lord hath done.

Refrain
Count your blessings,
Name them one by one,
Count your blessings,
See what God hath done!
Count your blessings,
Name them one by one,
And it will surprise you
What the Lord hath done.

Are you ever burdened
With a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy
You are called to bear?
Count your many blessings,
Every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing
As the days go by.

Refrain

When you look at others
With their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised
You His wealth untold;
Count your many blessings.
Wealth can never buy
Your reward in Heaven,
Nor your home on high.

Refrain

So, amid the conflict
Whether great or small,
Do not be disheartened,
God is over all;
Count your many blessings,
Angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you
To your journey’s end.
