DHS bulletin warns of 'heightened threat environment,' violent months ahead
|
|
The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin Tuesday warning of a "heightened threat environment" over the next several months as they monitor both risks of domestic terrorism and foreign adversaries looking to sow discord within the U.S. to promote acts of violence.
"The United States remains in a heightened threat environment, as noted in the previous Bulletin, and several recent attacks have highlighted the dynamic and complex nature of the threat environment," DHS said in a new bulletin from the National Terrorism Advisory System.
"In the coming months, we expect the threat environment to become more dynamic as several high-profile events could be exploited to justify acts of violence against a range of possible targets," DHS said.
The bulletin listed potential targets to include "public gatherings, faith-based institutions, schools, racial and religious minorities, government facilities and personnel, U.S. critical infrastructure, the media, and perceived ideological opponents." (Fox News) Read more here. |

1. Israel slams UNHCR: 'Biased one-sided report tainted with hatred for Israel' - Israel National News
Israel's Foreign Ministry responded to the release Tuesday of a report by the UN Human Rights Council's Commission of Inquiry against Israel over Israel's efforts to defend itself from the thousands of rocket and mortar attacks fired by terrorist organizations during Operation Guardian of the Walls in May, 2021.
"The report published today by the Human Rights Council’s Commission of Inquiry is nothing more than a waste of money and effort of the United Nations’ systems, part and parcel of the witch hunt being carried out by the Human Rights Council against Israel," the ministry said,
"It is a biased and one-sided report tainted with hatred for the State of Israel and based on a long series of previous one-sided and biased reports. The report disregards years of murderous terrorism by Palestinian terrorist organizations against Israeli citizens, as well as the Palestinians’ long-standing obstinacy and the vicious and antisemitic incitement carried out by the Palestinian Authority and its networks. 2. Israel's gov't in crisis after rebel MKs sink West Bank emergency bill - Jerusalem Post
In a critical blow to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's government late Monday, the coalition failed to pass a directive giving Israel legal jurisdiction over Israelis living in the West Bank that has been approved every five years since 1967.
Opposition MKs applauded following the announcement of the results that the vote fell with 52 votes for it and 58 against it. Failure of the bill led to immediate speculation that the government will soon fall and Israel will head to a new election.
Ghaida Rinawie Zoabi (Meretz) and Mazen Ghanaim (Ra’am – United Arab List) voted against the bill and other Ra'am MKs and former coalition head Idit Silman absented themselves from the vote. Without their support, it was impossible to pass the bill, which must be reapproved by the end of June. (Read more)

3. 'Iran has enough material to produce 3 nuclear bombs' - Israel Hayom
Iran has enough fissile material to produce three nuclear bombs, an Israeli official said Monday as the International Atomic Energy Agency's Board of Governors convened in Vienna to discuss the West's faltering negotiations with the Islamic republic.
IAEA Director Rafael Grossi said, "Having a significant quantity [crossing the uranium enrichment threshold] does not mean having a bomb, but … this idea of crossing the line, it's going to happen. They are very close. … It cannot be avoided."
The IAEA's week-long conference is expected to result in a resolution against Iran, which would be the first in two and a half years. However, this will not automatically mean the UN Security Council would act on the agency's recommendation to censure Iran or impose new international sanctions. (Read more)

4. Israel's ambassador to UN elected vice president of UN General Assembly - Jerusalem Post
Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, was elected as a vice president of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday.
Erdan will enter the position with the convening of the UNGA this September and will stay in the position for a year.
The Israeli UN ambassador will chair General Assembly meetings and take part in setting the agenda for UNGA deliberations. (Read more)

5. Syria says Israeli jets strike targets south of Damascus - Times of Israel
Israeli fighter jets launched a series of airstrikes on an area south of the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday night, causing damage to several sites, Syria’s official state media reported.
A Twitter account tracking Israeli military activity in Syria claimed the strikes targeted sites in the suburb of al-Kiswah, south of Damascus and near the Damascus International Airport, southeast of the city. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also said the strikes targeted al-Kiswah. The claims could not immediately be independently verified.
The al-Kiswah area has been bombed by Israel in the past for allegedly containing Iranian military bases. (Read more)

6. UN: Iran not providing ‘credible’ answers on nuclear material at undeclared sites - Times of Israel
International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi on Monday said Iran has still not provided satisfactory answers over the presence of uranium at three facilities.
“Iran has not provided explanations that are technically credible in relation to the agency’s findings at three undeclared locations in Iran,” Grossi said Monday, addressing a quarterly meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna.
“Nor has Iran informed the agency of the current location, or locations, of the nuclear material and/or of the equipment contaminated with nuclear material, that was moved from Turquzabad in 2018,” he said. (Read more)

1. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi discloses up to $1.5 million in Apple trades and up to $600,000 in Microsoft - The Daily Mail
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi disclosed new stock market trades on Monday, showing purchases of options to buy between $750,000 and $1.5 million shares of Apple Inc and hundreds of thousands in Microsoft Corp.
In a periodic transaction report signed last Friday and appearing on the House of Representatives' website on Monday, the California Democrat disclosed that her husband, financier Paul Pelosi, on May 13 bought Apple call options for between $500,001 and $1 million.
A 2012 law makes it illegal for lawmakers to use information from their work in Congress for their personal gain. The law requires them to disclose stock transactions by themselves or family members within 45 days. Pelosi in January signaled that she might be willing to advance legislation to completely ban stock trading by lawmakers as internal and pressure mounted following cases of lawmakers' using information about the impending pandemic to make stock market decisions.
Her openness to legislation regulating lawmakers' stock activity was a reversal from her previous position defending in particular her caucus members' right to trade stocks, saying she errs on the side of trusting them. (Read more)

2. New York Times: January 6 Hearings ‘Give Democrats a Chance to Recast Midterm Message’ – Breitbart
While Republicans are likely to win a huge House majority in November – the best position in over 80 years – the Times acknowledged Democrats are looking to use the January 6 committee to distract from President Biden’s 40-year-high inflation, record high gas prices, supply chain woes, and the Southern border crisis.
“It is an uphill battle at a time when polls show that voters’ attention is focused elsewhere, including on inflation, rising coronavirus cases and record-high gas prices,” the Times said. “But Democrats argue the hearings will give them a platform for making a broader case about why they deserve to stay in power.”
The hearings must remind voters of Trump’s alleged effort to “overturn the election” with a “mob” of supporters who “stormed the Capitol with false claims of a stolen election,” the Times wrote. According to polling, that will be a difficult task. An NBC News poll shows only 45 percent of Americans find Donald Trump responsible for January 6 protest, declining 7 points since January 2021. Additional polling reveals that 58 percent believe the committee is biased toward Democrats.(Read more)

3. Food fight: School lunch funding row pits Biden against states – Breitbart
Republican -led states across the country are poised to miss out on federal funds for the National School Lunch Program after the Biden administration announced last month it was making such funds contingent upon a pro-transgender interpretation of Title IX .
Under the provisions of an announcement last month by the Department of Agriculture , any state or local agency that receives funding from the department's Food and Nutrition Service must interpret Title IX to include nondiscrimination protections for sexual orientation and gender identity. The requirement came without the formal notice of rule-making federal agencies are typically required to exercise when making a policy change.
The Biden administration has continually attempted to interpret Title IX, which bars discrimination in educational settings on the basis of sex, to include sexual orientation and gender identity, per a 2020 Supreme Court ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County that held sexual orientation was protected under similar provisions in Title VII, which likewise barred discrimination on the basis of sex in employment. The Department of Education is expected to release a new regulatory proposal this month applying the Bostock decision to Title IX.
But the Agriculture Department's decision to attach new strings to federal school lunch funding has set the stage for a showdown between several Republican-controlled states that have expressly banned certain practices that would otherwise be required by the department, potentially jeopardizing the availability of the program to millions of primarily low-income children. 4. ‘A Win for the CCP’: Biden Waives Tariffs on Suspected Chinese Solar Panels – Breitbart
Solar panel imports from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia were frozen after the Commerce Department opened an investigation in March on whether Chinese solar producers were illegally circumventing tariffs by routing their operations through those countries.
Reuters first reported that Biden has decided to exempt those solar panel imports from tariffs in order to get stalled solar-power projects back on track. The move will benefit U.S. solar developers and utilities that rely on imported solar panels, but hurt American solar panel manufacturers. Auxin, a California-based solar panel manufacturer that prompted the Commerce Department’s probe through a complaint, slammed Biden’s decision.
“President Biden is significantly interfering in Commerce’s quasi-judicial process,” Auxin Chief Executive Officer Mamun Rashid said in a statement, according to Bloomberg. “By taking this unprecedented — and potentially illegal — action, he has opened the door wide for Chinese-funded special interests to defeat the fair application of US trade law.” The White House “opened the door wide for Chinese-funded special interests to defeat the fair application of U.S. trade law,” Rashid said, according to Reuters. 5. Establishment Media Say The Economy Is Awesome – Breitbart
Axios ran a story called “America’s hidden boom.” It argued that the U.S. economy is doing extraordinarily well. The bottom line: Things haven’t been so good for so many in decades, Dean Baker of the Center for Economic and Policy Research told The New York Times.
- “You’d have to go back to the late 1990s to find a similar era. Before that, the 1960s.”
Verdict: False.
The U.S. economy is doing terribly. Inflation is running at the worst level in 40 years. Fifty-five percent of Americans think we’re in a recession, including a plurality of Democrats. Eighty-three percent of Americans say economic conditions are poor or not so good.
Real wages are plunging, which means that extremely tight labor market conditions are not helping American households. Unemployment is very low but it was just as low in the prepandemic Trump administration with much lower inflation. Home affordability is nearing an all-time low. Gas prices keep setting new record highs. (Read more)

6. State Planning Harsh COVID-Style Lockdown in Event of Fuel Shortage – Breitbart
The Europhile government of Ireland is planning a return to draconian COVID-style lockdowns should a fuel shortage arise out of the ongoing Ukraine crisis, a leak revealed to the public on Monday has claimed. It comes as ongoing hostilities between Russia and the West over Vladimir Putin’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine put severe pressure on the supply of fossil fuels worldwide, with climate crazy protesters in Europe also sometimes contributing to more local shortages by blocking essential oil infrastructure.
According to leaks described by the Irish Independent, officials have wargamed implementing compulsory work from home orders for non-essential workers, limits on so-called “non-essential” travel and strict speed limits on highways should the supply of diesel dry up as part of what has been described as a confidential “high-level planning exercise”.
Fuel rationing and a limiting of when certain vehicles can be filled at gas stations were also reportedly discussed at the secretive meeting, with delegates at the event being asked to plan for three different fuel-shortage scenarios of various severity. (Read more)

7. DeSantis signs bill addressing school safety in wake of Uvalde shooting - Fox News
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a bill aimed at improving school safety in Florida following the Uvalde, Texas school shooting that left 21 people dead.
The bill, known as HB 1421, takes several steps to prevent school shootings in the future including requiring school safety officers to make complete crisis intervention training, allowing school safety officers to make arrests on charter school property and requiring school districts annually certify that 80% of school personnel have received youth mental health awareness training.
"Every child needs a safe and secure learning environment," DeSantis said in a press release. "By signing HB 1421, we continue to build on the many steps we have taken since 2019 to implement the recommendations of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Commission, while also making record investments in mental health and school safety." We give thanks and bless Governor DeSantis for taking this action for Florida, and especially that student mental health will be addressed. 8. NYT Accuses Rays’ Christian Players of ‘Condemning Gay Culture’ by Rejecting ‘Pride Night’ Patches – Breitbart
Kepner worried that “something was missing” when Rays pitchers Brooks Raley and Jalen Beeks hit the field without the team’s gay pride patch on their uniforms.
“Raley, Beeks and a few other teammates chose to wear caps and jerseys without the rainbow accents,” Kepner explained.
The columnist went on to relay the players’ decisions to refuse the pride patches based on their faith and quoted Jason Adam as saying that he, at least, loves people who support the gay lifestyle but that he simply doesn’t want any part in encouraging that lifestyle. Kepner approved of the Rays’ effort to support the LGBTQ agenda and to “prioritize clubhouse harmony.” But he noted that the players undermined the harmony.
“Yet by allowing the players to opt out of the promotion — and to use the platform to endorse an opposite viewpoint — the Rays undercut the message of inclusion they were trying to send,” Kepner wrote. “Words like “lifestyle” and “behavior” are widely known tropes often interpreted as a polite cover for condemning gay culture.” (Read more)

9. Florida Lawmaker To Introduce Bill Criminalizing ‘Drag Sex Shows’ For Children - Daily Caller
Republican Florida state Rep. Anthony Sabatini plans to introduce legislation criminalizing the act of bringing children to sex shows and drag shows, he announced Monday.
The bill, if passed, would make it a felony for an adult to bring a child to a sexually-themed drag show and allow authorities to terminate parental rights over violations, Sabatini told The Daily Caller News Foundation. The announcement came in response to a Palm Beach event titled “Pride on the Block: Drag Show for Kids!”
“We need this legislation to protect children,” Sabatini told TheDCNF. “Too many sick Woke adults are forcing young children into these drag sex shows and trying to sexualize them at earlier and earlier ages. This bill will prevent that.”
“The bill will make it a felony under Florida law for an adult to bring a child into a drag sex show,” he said. “It would also create a new provision under Florida law where the Florida Department of Children and Families can move forward with terminating parental rights of an adult that brought a child into a drag sex show and extend Florida’s lewd and lascivious obscene materials (pornographic) law to include these sex shows aimed at children.” (Read more)

10. Doctors are left stunned after cancer 'disappears' for EVERY patient in drug trial - The Daily Mail
A new colorectal cancer drug has shocked researchers with how effective it is against the highly dangerous disease, after it virtually cured every member of a clinical trial. Dostarlimab, a monoclonal antibody drug that is already approved to treat endometrial cancer in the UK, smashed expectations in a trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
One year after the trial ended, each of the 18 participants' cancer had gone into remission, with doctors unable to find signs of the cancer in their body.
While the trial was small, it is considered game-changing, and sets up the drug as a potential cure for one of the most dangerous common cancers known.
However, dostarlimab can only be used on up to a tenth of colorectal cancer patients who have a genetic mutation in their tumour, which all trial participants had. (Read more)

The Great Reset And You Part 1

The most dangerous threat to the exercise of religion and freedom of speech in your lifetime, and perhaps history to date, is not a theory, but it is a conspiracy. It’s called the Great Reset. People who can see the end from the beginning have been sounding the alarm for decades. The foundational element, at least, is not a theory, while many of the conclusions drawn from it remain to be proven and often discounted and ridiculed by a Great Reset-complicit news media. This is a situation where there is no need to embellish the truth. It’s bad enough. Over the next few days, The Daily Jot will try to explain the Great Reset without embellishment and in layman’s terms. Be prepared to suspend your disbelief.
The Great Reset is the brainchild of Klaus Schwab, a Swiss engineer and economist, who founded the World Economic Forum (WEF) as the European Management Forum in 1971. His idea of “Stakeholder Capitalism” argues that “the management of a modern enterprise must serve not only shareholders, but all stakeholders to achieve long-term growth and prosperity.” Stakeholder Capitalism requires corporate cooperation with government, and in turn, strong government intervention in the economy. Formerly known as corporatism or economic fascism, it is the economic model employed today in China. Corporations in league with the communist government, pay huge taxes for favor, and assist the government in orchestrating tyrannical control of the population, except, of course, those who are in control. Facts Matter (June 6): 2 Days After ‘2000 Mules’ Presentation, Former Mayor Pleads Guilty to Ballot Harvesting in AZ

A woman in Arizona officially pled guilty to using her position within the Democratic Party to illegally harvest ballots in what was described by the attorney general’s office as a “sophisticated” ballot harvesting scheme.
This guilty plea came right on the heels of two separate events:
The first is a ballot fraud investigation launched by the Yuma County Sheriffs office. The second was a presentation given by the researchers behind the film “2000 Mules” to the Arizona state legislature. And during that presentation, they presented evidence of the cell phone tracking data they were able to combine, showing how more than 200 individual devices visited the ballot drop boxes in two of the state’s largest counties—no less than 5,700 times during the 2020 election. Biden’s “war through weakness”

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
Last August, Joe Biden failed to deter the Taliban’s final assault in Afghanistan. In fact, his conduct – and odious orders to the U.S. military to cut-and-run in the middle of the night, leaving $83 billion worth of advanced weaponry behind – not only assured, but effectively invited, the jihadists’ victory there, and whetted their appetite for more elsewhere.
In February, Team Biden once again communicated its unwillingness to impose appreciable costs, this time for a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin responded like the Taliban.
Now, as Communist China prepares for war, the Biden administration is clearing the way for U.S. investors, including federal government employees and military personnel, to put their money in China. It’s also easing Trump-era tariffs – further generating revenues that not only signal our provocative weakness, but actually will help pay for China’s aggression.

Though we genuinely love and pray for these individuals, we must also pray against and work to stop their agenda. According to Blaze Media, “A North Carolina preschool teacher used LGBTQ-themed flashcards to instruct students — one card apparently shows a pregnant man, WTCD TV reported. The teacher has resigned…The flashcards — apparently used to teach colors to students — reportedly were found in a preschool classroom at Ballentine Elementary School in Fuquay-Varina, the station said.” [1]
Then there is the new Barbie doll. According to The Daily Signal, “It’s no longer just Barbie and Ken. Mattel has created a transgender Barbie in the likeness of actor Laverne Cox, a biological male who identifies as a female. Cox, who gained notoriety in the Netflix series ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ worked with Mattel to design the doll.
“‘It’s been a dream for years to work with Barbie to create my own doll,’ Cox said in a statement. ‘I can’t wait for fans to find my doll on shelves and have the opportunity to add a Barbie doll modeled after a transgender person to their collection.’”[2] Read More

Excavations in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood uncover a 40-meter piece of the capital’s main water carrier, 21 kilometers long, which was used until British Mandate.
Recent excavations in Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv neighborhood are resurrecting one of the ancient city’s main water suppliers — the 2,000-year-old Low-Level Aqueduct that brought water to the Temple Mount from Solomon’s Pools near Bethlehem, 21 kilometers away.
Used until the British Mandate, when it was discarded for new electric pump technology, the newly uncovered segment of the Hasmonean-era water line — currently some 40 meters — will be conserved and integrated into a neighborhood park in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality and the Moriah Jerusalem Development Corporation.

As we collectively come out of this COVID-19 pandemic, I want to share what I believe the Holy Spirit is doing in our world. This week, we celebrate Pentecost, the event found in the book of Acts in which Jesus's followers received the Holy Spirit. Luke tells us, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you" (Acts 1:8). This is not a quake, an emotion, a feeling, an opinion or even a religion. Let's set the record straight: Jesus said you will receive power.
Holy Spirit people believe. They do not beg. As Holy Spirit people, we should be known for our appointments, not our opinions. The Holy Spirit is the most significant empowering force in the universe. I'm not talking about just any power. I'm not talking about corrupt, coercive or controlling power. I'm not talking about temporary, tantalizing or transitional power. I am talking about the power that Jesus said will flow like rivers of living water (John 7:38). You cannot rightfully claim powerlessness and the Holy Spirit. You can't have the Spirit and be defeated. Holy Spirit people are people of supernatural power to overcome this world.
When the people of God lean into this reality, we will see an unprecedented outpouring of his power. COVID is not more powerful than the Spirit of God inside of us. No cancer, no depression, no political power, no religious ideology can outsmart or outmaneuver the strength and will of God inside of you. Nothing hell can conjure is more powerful than the Holy Spirit of God inside of you. Because of God's indwelling Spirit, you can confidently say, "Greater is the one living inside of me than he who is in the world" (see 1 John 4:4).
When we as the church choose to embrace this truth, we will experience a revival like we've never seen before. Entire cities are about to experience an awakening; more people will come to Jesus than ever before. We're about to see not just a revival within a building but entire cities and nations. Get ready—because nothing can stop the Spirit of God from moving if we believe. This Pentecost, join me in praying for holy dynamite, an undeniable explosion of power in every nation. In Jesus' name, do away with every single vestige of darkness, that each person would be washed afresh with the Holy Spirit—every family, every church, every ministry, every city, every community, every nation, baptized anew with the precious Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name we pray.
