EXCLUSIVE: National Security Leaders Urge Congress To Investigate FBI Over Security Clearances In Wake Of Durham Report
|

A group of former National Security leaders sent a letter Thursday to House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan and House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer in the wake of Special Counsel John Durham’s report, calling on them to hold oversight hearings regarding FBI practices on issuing and revoking security clearances.
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter, sent by members of the America First Policy Institute. In the letter, the former National Security leaders mention the Durham Report, which found the FBI used “uncorroborated intelligence” when launching its investigation into former President Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russia.
The letter was sent by former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg (Ret.), former U.S. Secretary of Veteran Affairs Robert Wilkie, former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, former Acting U.S. Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, former Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary for the National Security Council Fred Fleitz and former Deputy National Security Advisor Steve Yates. U.S. nears deal to limit Iran's nuclear program, in exchange for prisoners, sanction relief
|
|
Three senior Israeli officials, a U.S. official, and an Iranian official confirmed the negotiations and broad outlines of the talks to The New York Times.
The United States' goal is purportedly to come to an informal, unwritten agreement with Iran to prevent hostile relations between the two nations from further escalating – as Iran cracks down on internal protesters, stockpiles highly enriched uranium, and gives drones to Russia to use in Ukraine. The deal would also ease sanctions on Iran.
Two Israeli officials said the new pact is "imminent." Some Israeli officials are troubled by the talks and say such a deal could reduce economic pressure on Iran from the West and lead to a nuclear agreement, throwing a lifeline to the Islamic Republic's economy without stopping its nuclear activities.
On Thursday, House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul sent a letter to President Biden raising concerns about whether his administration intends to "follow the law and submit any agreement with Iran to Congress, as required by the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015.” (Just the News) Read more.

Putin says Russia positions nuclear bombs in Belarus as warning to West
|
|
President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that his deployment of tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, something he confirmed for the first time had already happened, was a reminder to the West that it could not inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
Speaking at Russia’s flagship economic forum in St Petersburg, Putin said Russian tactical nuclear warheads had already been delivered to close ally Belarus, but stressed he saw no need for Russia to resort to nuclear weapons for now.
“As you know we were negotiating with our ally, (Belarusian President (Alexander) Lukashenko, that we would move a part of these tactical nuclear weapons to the territory of Belarus – this has happened,” said Putin.
“The first nuclear warheads were delivered to the territory of Belarus. But only the first ones, the first part. But we will do this job completely by the end of the summer or by the end of the year.”
The move, Moscow’s first deployment of such warheads – shorter-range nuclear weapons that could potentially be used on the battlefield – outside Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union was intended as a warning to the West about arming and supporting Ukraine, the Russian leader said. Unanimous Supreme Court Ruling Eases Prison Sentences for Some Gun Crimes
|
|
|
Some people convicted of gun crimes can spend less time in prison, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on June 16.
Sentences for certain gun crimes can run concurrently, the nation’s top court said in a unanimous decision, siding with the convict.
“Congress could certainly have designed the penalty scheme at issue here differently. But Congress did not do any of these things. And we must implement the design Congress chose,” Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Biden appointee, wrote in the ruling (pdf).
The case involves two subsections of 18 U.S.C. 924. Subsection (c) outlines offenses and penalties, and states that “no term of imprisonment imposed on a person under this subsection shall run concurrently with any other term of imprisonment imposed on the person.” Subsection (j), which was added more recently, outlines other offenses and corresponding penalties. It does not include language about forbidding concurrent sentences.
District courts generally have discretion as to whether prison sentences run concurrently or consecutively. Some laws forbid concurrent sentences in certain cases. (The Epoch Times)

- Abba, legal cases that include gun possession or gun crimes have become very triggering in our nation. The Supreme Court handed down a decision which was a clarification of laws already on the books This decision directs under what circumstances a judge is allowed to mandate sentences running consecutively instead of concurrently when there are multiple convictions.
Father God, we thank You that we don't have to know all the right answers in these court cases because You do. We are asking for Your shalom to rest on our nation as people react to this ruling. We ask that Your church will seek Your face for direction in ministering Your truth to those who have taken offense at this decision. Lord, for those who feel abandoned by the Court, teach us to speak words of peace and healing, helping them to know Your heart, Your understanding of them and Your love for them. I ask this in the name El-Roi, the God who sees me, the God who sees them. Amen.

1. Watch: IDF attack helicopter targets terrorists in Jenin - Israel National News
The IDF's operation in Jenin has ended and military forces have withdrawn from the city, the IDF announced Monday evening.
"Following the security forces activity in Jenin, all the forces and military vehicles have exited the city," the IDF spokesperson stated.
"Throughout the duration of the activity, the forces engaged and operated decisively to thwart the threats in the area. Furthermore, IDF helicopters were dispatched to rescue the injured soldiers and officers from the area. IDF combat helicopters were also dispatched to the scene and fired to assist the forces on the ground. Throughout the duration of the activity, gunmen fired toward the IDF helicopters with light weapons. A number of hits were identified. During the activity, seven soldiers and police officers were moderately and lightly injured. Another IDF soldier who was lightly injured has been evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment after being injured by shrapnel. His family has been notified," the military spokesperson said. (Read more)

2. Terror Attack in West Bank, 2 Israelis Wounded, 2 Terrorists Neutralized - Algemeiner
i24 News – Israeli security forces neutralized two terrorists, after a run-over attempt at Crossing 300 in the northern West Bank, according to Rescue without Borders paramedics.
First reports say the arrest procedure was carried out on the suspected vehicle, which ended in a shooting.
Earlier on Monday, eight Israeli soldiers were wounded in clashes with Palestinians in the West Bank city of Jenin. During an arrest operation, seven soldiers were lightly and moderately wounded, another was lightly hit by shrapnel. The soldiers were evacuated to Rambam hospital via helicopter.
Following heavy fire on the security forces’ vehicle, Israel Defense Forces carried out a rare aerial attack, a first in the West Bank since 2002. During the resulting rescue operation, helicopters also came under hostile fire.
The Palestinian health ministry said at least 91 people were wounded, and five gunmen were killed. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization took responsibility for the explosives used against the Israelis, and said two of the killed operatives belonged to their Jenin Battalion. (Read more)

3. Gallant in closed talks: No need currently for a military operation in northern Samaria - Israel National News
Calls were heard throughout the day on Monday for an extensive military operation in Palestinian Arab cities in northern Samaria, following the operation in Jenin earlier in the day in which Israeli forces were injured during an operation to detain wanted terrorists.
Channel 13 News reported on Monday evening that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said in closed conversations that there is currently no need for an extensive operation, but Israel will not hesitate to launch one if necessary.
During the Israeli operation to arrest terrorists in Jenin early Monday morning, Israeli troops came upon a bomb planted by terrorists and which defense officials estimate contained more than 20 kilograms of explosives.
Eight Israeli troops were injured by the explosion. (Read more)

4. Coalition moves to restart overhaul, sets plan to limit High Court’s judicial review - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s hardline coalition decided on Monday to reignite its controversial plan to shake up Israel’s judiciary, setting a goal to curtail judicial review of the “reasonableness” of government decisions before the Knesset recess next month.
Legislation to take political control of judicial appointments — the core and most controversial element of the overhaul — will be scheduled for the winter session, which opens in October, according to several coalition sources. The coalition is expected to withdraw the bill it was about to enact in late March, which would give the governing majority near-absolute control of appointments throughout the judicial hierarchy, and prepare a fresh draft with as-yet unspecified changes.
The coalition leaders’ decision likely sounds a death knell for the stalled talks hosted by President Isaac Herzog to work towards a consensus solution. (Read more)

5. REVEALED: Israeli PM agreed to give up parts of Jerusalem’s Old City, Temple Mount - World Israel News
The Barak administration agreed to give up part of Israel’s sovereignty in the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in December 2000, according to an official response to a Clinton administration proposal published for the first time by the Israel State Archives on Sunday.
Israel agreed to relinquish its sovereignty over the area of the mosques on the Temple Mount, Ynet reported.
Among the comments written in Hebrew in the margins of the Clinton administration proposal: “de facto division of sovereignty on the Temple Mount.”
Israel demanded continued sovereignty over the Western Wall, the Western Wall tunnel, the Makhkame building overlooking the Temple Mount, the Siloam Tunnel (aka Hezekiah’s Tunnel), the City of David and the Mount of Olives. (Read more)

1. GOP Tells Asa Hutchinson To Take A Hike After He Balks At Pledge To Support Eventual Nominee: REPORT – Daily Caller
The Republican National Committee (RNC) told former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s campaign Thursday they would not be amending debate requirements in light of his concerns over the indictment of former President Donald Trump, according to Politico.
Hutchinson’s team asked Wednesday to speak with the RNC about changing the loyalty pledge, which would require the former governor to support Trump if he becomes the nominee, according to Politico. RNC officials told a Hutchinson staffer Thursday they are “not dealing with hypotheticals” like the former president’s potential convictions, and declined to amend their debate requirements.
“Individuals who are seeking the Republican nomination for President are being asked to respect the decision of Republican Primary voters and support the eventual nominee they pick to beat Biden,” RNC senior advisor Richard Walters told the DCNF in a statement. “Candidates who are complaining about this to the press should seriously reconsider their priorities and whether they should even be running.” (Read more)

2. White House Swears Trillion-Dollar Climate Bill Will Save Money Despite Evidence To The Contrary – Daily Caller
Despite several private analyses suggesting the opposite, the White House stands by President Joe Biden’s initial assertion that the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will cut the federal deficit, according to Reuters Friday.
Kent Smetters, faculty director of federal budget watchdog Penn Wharton Budget Model, said he now estimates that the bill will add roughly $750 billion to the national deficit over the next ten years — a cost increase of roughly $1 trillion from Penn Wharton’s initial estimates — joining analysts at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs who believe that the government dramatically underestimated the cost of tax credits, according to Reuters. Nonetheless, an unnamed White House official told the outlet that there was “pretty good certainty” that the bill would “reduce the deficit in the long run.”
However, reductions to the deficit “may not start hitting the deficit until year eight or nine, not year four or five,” as was originally forecasted, the official told Reuters. The bill will also have “more deployment and achieve more emissions reductions than we initially thought,” the official said. (Read more)

3. Biden Appoints New CDC Director – Daily Caller
President Joe Biden formally announced Friday his intent to appoint Dr. Mandy Cohen as director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Cohen, who is an internal medicine physician and led the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, will be replacing Dr. Rochelle Walensky. The White House announced in May that Walensky would be stepping down after serving two years in the administration and overseeing the COVID-19 response.
“As Secretary of North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Cohen developed innovative and nationally recognized programs that improved the health and lives of families across the state. Her leadership through the COVID-19 crisis drew bipartisan praise, as did her successful transformation of North Carolina’s Medicaid program and pivotal role in the bipartisan passage of Medicaid expansion. Before serving in North Carolina, Dr. Cohen held senior roles at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services where she helped implement Affordable Care Act programs, including expanding insurance coverage and protections,” Biden began in a statement. 4. DOJ Reveals Number Of Federal Agents Investigating Trump - Daily Caller
Approximately 26 federal agents have worked on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) special counsel investigations into former President Donald Trump, Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte revealed in a letter June 15.
Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump on 37 counts stemming from his alleged mishandling of national security material at his Mar-a-Lago home. He is also investigating Trump for his post-2020 election conduct. House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan of Ohio requested information about Smith’s investigations into Trump in a June 6 letter to DOJ. (Read more)

5. Iowa Supreme Court blocks six-week abortion ban – Just The News
The Iowa Supreme Court on Friday voted 3-3 on a proposed six-week abortion ban, which means abortion will remain legal for up to 20 weeks.
The ruling failed to reach a majority regarding whether to overturn a lower court decision that had temporarily blocked Iowa Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds' attempt to reinstate a six-week abortion ban passed in 2018.
The decision now goes back to the lower court.
States that have a six-week abortion ban include Florida, Idaho and Kentucky. (Read more)

6. American Medical Association Pledges To Work With Activists To Push ‘Youth’ Sex Changes – Daily Caller
The American Medical Association (AMA) pledged to ramp up its support for cross-sex medical interventions for youths with gender identity issues in a resolution its House of Delegates approved this week.
The AMA already supported cross-sex medical interventions for children, but the new resolution makes this stance more proactive in response to state-level restrictions on such procedures, with the AMA now affirmatively lobbying for laws designed to promote sex change procedures. The resolution passed Monday, according to the Endocrine Society, which sponsored the resolution. The organization pledged to work with special interest groups to fight state and federal limits on all cross-sex medical procedures, which it euphemistically referred to as “gender-affirming care.”
The resolution was co-authored by two medical students, Charles Adams and Delia Sosa, both of whom are transgender, according to MedPage Today. The co-authors expressed concerns that state restrictions on cross-sex treatments for children endangered people’s lives. (Read more)
- Lord, this is an egregious, evil stance by the AMA. We pray that You will tear down the demonic powers that have targeted our children. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, we bind the actions of the AMA and ask for true conviction in their hearts.

7. Montana AG Sounds Alarm: Armed IRS Agents Rounding Up Gun Purchase Records – Breitbart
Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen spoke to Breitbart News Saturday morning and told us that armed IRS agents rolled into Great Falls’ Highwood Creek Outfitters Wednesday and seized dozens of boxes of ATF form 4473s, the background check form containing information on gun purchasers.
The agents hit the store prior to regular business hours, KRTV reported.
Store owner Tom Van Hoose said, “At 7:30, I came in and they pulled in behind me with 20 heavily armed agents.” He said by the time all was said and done, the agents left him with about 30 minutes of time to do business so he lost virtually an entire business day.
Van Hoose believes his store is targeted because he sells guns the White House opposes: “I can only assume that it’s because of the style of weapons that we have and the press that’s so against them. The current administration seems to be hell-bent on getting those guns out of the hands of average Americans.”
The ATF form 4473 has a gun purchaser’s name, address, birthdate, state/city of birth, gender, social security number, and the serial number of any guns purchased in the store. The information is perfectly suited for use in a registry or registry database. (Read more)

8. Watchdog Group: Karine Jean-Pierre Violates Hatch Act Again; Andrew Bates, Too – Breitbart
The watchdog group that filed a successful complaint against White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for violating the Hatch Act is protesting again, saying she and her deputy, Andrew Bates, have “doubled down.”
As Breitbart News reported earlier this week, Jean-Pierre received a letter of warning from the Office of the Special Counsel (an independent agency not to be confused with the Special Counsel within the Department of Justice). The letter cited a complaint from Protect the Public’s Trust, a watchdog group focused on ethics in the federal government, and warned Jean-Pierre about her repeated use of the phrase “MAGA Republicans.”
A sullen Jean-Pierre appeared to dispute the findings of the Office of the Special Counsel when asked about the letter by reporters earlier this week, and said that the White House counsel’s office would be responding. (Read more)
- Lord, the explicit bias of the Press Secretary is not unexpected, but it is concerning that she and her deputy continue to violate the rules. We pray for a heart change in both of them as well as all administration spokes people, and a swift move of Your Spirit to bring repentance.

Faith Vs Giants

There are a lot of giants in this world. The government. The media. Companies that put political agendas ahead of their customers. The love of money is a huge giant. All these giants seek to control their areas. They limit our freedom by censoring what we say; directing what we do; what we wear; where we go and what we buy. Yes, we believe we make the final decision, but what drives our decisions? How are they influenced? Are our decisions based on what the giants in our lives want us to do? Or are our decisions based on our faith in God the Father? God gave us freedom of choice. He delights in our freedom, but is the control of the giants more powerful than our faith and God’s gift of freedom?
By a miraculous act of God, Moses led the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery. These people witnessed first-hand the outstretched arm of God deliver them from the pursuit of the Egyptians through the parting sea. They saw when they needed food and water how God provided for them. Yet they whined and complained and wanted to go back to Egypt where they were slaves. Notwithstanding, Moses led them on. In Numbers 13:2, the Lord came to Moses and told him to send spies into the land of Canaan, “which I give unto the children of Israel.” The spies saw that the land was good, the fruit of the land, they said, “flowed with milk and honey.” But there was a big problem reported by the spies—giants. In May, the Biden Administration pushed for all 194 participant countries in the United Nations to turn over sovereignty to the World Health Organization in issues regarding health. It was to “protect” the globe in case of another pandemic.

Note, there doesn’t have to be a true health crisis for the WHO to call it a crisis, with the broad scope of power proposed. They just have to say there is one and then can enforce their restrictions and mandates.
Most assuredly there will be another “pandemic” because a new trial run was planned for this fall. Prior to this, rumors were already circulating about the release of a new virus. In Geneva last month, there was a huge push for a pandemic simulation this fall. It sounds not so different than the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation/John Hopkins Center supposed “fictional” practice run October 2019 called Event 201. That simulation just happened to be for a COVID pandemic—which then took place shortly thereafter.
Back to the meeting in Geneva in May, here is an overview of what took place and results. A pandemic treaty was proposed creating new rules—worse than the previous COVID mandates.
TIMELINE:
- · September 2023 the General Assembly will meet in NYC to fine tune the new proposed rules.
- · January 2024 they will meet again and set forth the new rules.
- · Feb 2024 they will all meet in Geneva to finalize the new treaty and mandates.
- · May 2024 a final vote will be held on the rules and global governance. This firms up their desired platform for global control via health issues, but in actuality will be much further reaching.
So what can we do?
The only way to stop this now is for America is to get out of the WHO before then—to restart what Donald Trump tried to do. Our Congress needs to demand and restart the process to get us out. But even if that request is made now, it takes 1 year to complete. Part of the recent Debt-Ceiling negotiation was for getting out of the WHO as part of that agreement. That was removed (as well as almost any other important aspect). Unless we hold our Congress’s feet to the fire, this will be ignored just as they ignored it when Biden’s administration started this process a year ago.
We must act now. ACTION STEP:
Please contact your U.S. Senators and Congressmen NOW to demand that they get America OUT of the World Health Organization. We have a majority in the House to do this. We cannot wait. This is URGENT.

A GUIDELINE FOR PRAYER
Father, we continue to pray and ask for Your divine intervention regarding the hostile takeover of not only our nation, but all nations who have subjected themselves to the overreach of the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Their goal of obtaining global governance has never been closer. But we know that You are still in control and You sit in the heavens and laugh. Yet Lord, it’s hard for us to laugh as we see America leading the charge for this evil endeavor. We ask that You would show us what to do. Can this be turned around and prevented? We cannot just stand by and watch it happen without continuing to pray and act.
You said You would instruct us and teach us the way to go and guide us with your eye upon us. That You would order and direct our steps. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom on how to proceed.
Man’s determination to take over the globe and remove You, has been around since the Tower of Babel. At that time You confused their language and dispersed them across the globe. We pray that you would do it again. We declare confusion into their communication and plans and that God’s plan will prevail.
We pray for our U.S. Senators and Representatives that they will stand up with courage to immediately remove us from the WHO and to start impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden for putting our nation under the control of others. May this be the dividing line to finish the revealing those who are “goats” and “sheep” in our elected officials. May all Americans wake up to the severity of what has transpired and refuse to allow this to go a step further. According to the Constitution, it is our duty, as American citizens to remove the treasonous leaders from their positions. They do not honor America nor its citizens and they have made that abundantly clear. May the veil of deception be removed so that those who have been blinded by the media and the lies finally see what is taking place and understand that if we don’t require change from this path they have set us on that our children and our grandchildren will be slaves to tyrannical godless rule. Lord may this not be.
We pray for revival and that You would be glorified. We pray for an outpouring of the fear/reverence of the Lord. We submit our will to Yours and say if this is what it takes for people to wake up to their need for You, so be it. Father we submit our nation and our lives to You. We pray that You would give divine strategy insight to see this tyranny stopped. Give us wisdom, understanding and discernment. Download Your strategy. Prepare us for what the future holds and how to prepare for the future.
Forgive us for where we have forsaken the love we had for You at first. May we consider how far we have fallen and repent and do the things we did at first. Help us not to be afraid for what we are about to suffer. Even if some of us are put in prison or if we suffer persecution, help us to be faithful, even to the point of death so that we do not grow weary or give up but receive the victor’s crown.
Give us courage, as you did the early church, to stand strong, spread the Gospel, pray for the sick, see lives changed and see Your Kingdom come.

House Oversight Chair Comer Plans to Interview ‘Key Figures’ in ‘Biden Family Influence Peddling’ Investigation

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer says he plans on questioning “key figures” in his investigation into allegations that the Biden family was involved in bribery and influence peddling.
“We’re going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we’re on the right track, even though we’re having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress and fight the mainstream media,” Comer, a Kentucky Republican, said, Fox News reported Sunday.
Comer also said he refused to give up when it was difficult to obtain documents.
“I think we’ve done as much as we could do with the obstacles we’ve had to overcome. No one thought I would get bank records. No one thought we would get access to the Treasury, Cabinet’s suspicious activity reports, but we would not take no for an answer,” Comer said about his committee’s efforts.

Voters across Racial, Religious, and Political Lines Are United to Protect Kids and Parental Rights

. . . the agenda of transgender ideology in schools, forcing girls to accept boys on their sports teams and in their locker rooms, promoting sexually explicit books in libraries, celebrating Pride Month at elementary schools, and even transitioning kids without their parents’ knowledge has caused moms and dads from across the country to stand up and say, “Enough is enough!”
As Family Research Council President Tony Perkins wisely noted on “Washington Watch,” oftentimes we can substitute the word “indoctrination” when leftist groups say “inclusion.” For example, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) president said on MSNBC, “We have marked that there are actually 12 anti-student inclusion groups in the country that are pushing to ban certain books, ban curricula, punish teachers who talk about inclusion education and generally make our school boards miserable in seeking to provide an inclusive education for all.”
Perkins said, “Notice that she repeatedly used the term ‘inclusion.’ If you really want a more accurate description of what she was saying, replace the word ‘inclusion’ with ‘indoctrination.’ Parents are tired of schools indoctrinating their children with leftist ideology and so they are protesting, they are showing up at school board meetings to say, ‘Look, we don’t want our tax dollars indoctrinating our children.’ Maybe the SPLC has gone too far this time.”
This issue of woke gender ideology being pushed on children, including in schools, is uniting moms and dads from various faiths and ethnic groups to speak up in defense of their children. Asra Nomani says that Muslim parents are waking up to the “unholy alliance” their community had with the Democratic Party after standing with conservatives to fight for parental rights.
“Parents everywhere, from the Muslim community to the Asian community, the Armenian-American community in California, are recognizing that their children are in the crosshairs of this woke army and they don't want to have any part of it.” Nomani went on to say, “These woke activists have stirred the mama bears and the papa bears in our Muslim community in a way that is irreversible. This is going to be the wedge issue of 2024, because they are now coming after the children.”

At least 1 dead, 20 injured following tornado
in Louin, Mississippi

As the sun rose Monday morning, the extent of damage could be seen more clearly after a tornado ripped through a small, central Mississippi town late Sunday night.
At least one fatality and numerous injuries have been reported after a confirmed tornado caused catastrophic damage in the small, central Mississippi town of Louin.
Located about 55 miles southeast of Jackson, Mississippi, Louin is a small town made up of 275 people. At least one person died and 20 people were injured according to Becky Collins, the vice president of marketing and community relations at South Central Regional Medical Center, which is roughly a 45-minute drive from Louin.
Collins told AccuWeather that of the 20 people who suffered injuries, most of them are in stable condition and some have already been discharged from the hospital.
Storm Chaser Brandon Clement was one of the first to reach the scene of the damage. Clement shared videos of first responders and volunteers working together to rescue people from the rubble.
“First responders and volunteers did amazing rescuing people,” Clement wrote in a Twitter post. “At one point, they ran out of ambulances and started using a Humvee to transport injured to the hospital.” Read More

Update: Charges Against Street Preacher Arrested at Pride Rally Dropped

Damon Atkins, the Christian street preacher arrested for sharing the gospel and the Bible at a Pride rally in Reading, Pennsylvania, as soon as he arrived, will not appear in court, as the criminal charges have been dropped by the district attorney. Atkins confirmed to CBN's Faithwire the charges have been dropped, adding, "Praise the Lord and glory to God and our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth!" via text message. Atkins also noted he is "so thankful so many people have seen the GO AND SIN NO MORE sign."
A statement from the district attorney in Berks County read, "After a review of the incident, which took place on June 3, 2023, in the 800 block of Washington Street in the City of Reading, the district attorney's office has withdrawn the charges of disorderly conduct filed against Damon Atkins." According to The Lancaster Patriot, County Commissioner Christian Leinbach said after reviewing the video, recorded by local resident and Christian Matthew Wear, "From what I have seen thus far I believe this was an unlawful arrest and could open the city of Reading and their police department to legal action."
