CNN Announces New Rules for Trump–Biden 2024 Presidential Debate

CNN has announced new details of its finalized rules for the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle, which will see a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

The network revealed on June 15 that the debate will last 90 minutes and will include two commercial breaks, during which the candidates will not be able to interact with their respective campaign staff.

No pre-written notes or props will be allowed, but the candidates will have a pen and paper so they can take notes during the debate. The candidates will appear at a uniform podium, with a coin flip to determine their podium positions. The candidates will each be given a bottle of water. There will be no studio audience for the debate, which will be held in Atlanta on June 27.

The debate will be moderated by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, who the network said “will use all tools at their disposal to enforce timing and ensure a civilized discussion.”

CNN said that it appears “less likely” that anyone other than President Biden and President Trump will satisfy its conditions, setting the stage for a repeat of the 2020 showdown between the two men. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father, we put this debate into Your holy hands.  We know that this will be yet another unfair (by the world's standards) event for President Trump; however, we also know that he is not being led by the world or himself, but rather under the anointing and guidance of You, Holy One.  Therefore, we pray for this contest to be led by You and this would be an opportunity for a powerful display of Your divine justice at work, even while every effort is being made to hinder and obstruct righteousness, in Jesus name.

- "Divination is on the lips of the king; His mouth must not transgress in judgment. Honest weights and scales are the Lord's; All the weights in the bag are His work.  It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.  Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And they love him who speaks what is right.   (Proverbs 16:10-13)

An armed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent reaches toward the doorbell camera at the home of Bryan Malinowski moments before disabling the video recording and breaching the door with a tactical team in a predawn raid in West Little Rock, Ark., on March 19, 2024. No Charges in Deadly ATF Arkansas Home Raid
‘This is not over,’ said the attorney for the family of Bryan Malinowski, former executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.

The use of deadly force was legal and justified in the March 19 early morning fatal shooting of Bryan Malinowski by federal agents in his West Little Rock, Arkansas, home, according to Pulaski County Prosecutor Will Jones, who said in a June 14 letter that there would be no charges in the case.

Mr. Malinowski was executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock until that morning, when a convoy of 10 law enforcement vehicles entered his upscale neighborhood and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), holding automatic rifles in the ready position, placed tape on his video doorbell, announced their presence, and in less than one minute, broke into the home while he was sleeping. Mr. Malinowski, a gun collector, woke up, grabbed his gun, exchanged gunfire with ATF agents, and Mr. Malinowski was shot dead in front of his wife.

The ATF had obtained a warrant to search his home for guns and evidence. The agency believed that Mr. Malinowski was selling guns without a $200 Federal Firearms License and without asking buyers for the proper information. According to an affidavit of probable cause, some of the guns that he had sold were recovered during the commission of a crime, although the crimes didn’t involve the direct use of guns.

It’s unclear why the ATF didn’t contact Mr. Malinowski at his workplace or during normal waking hours. (The Epoch Times) Read more here, including the timeline of this event.
- Mighty God of Justice and Defender of the Oppressed.  Holy One, our government is out of control and these agencies must be stopped, in the Mighty name of Jesus.  May this man's unrighteous death (murder) be the last straw causing we, the people to arise and stand against these agencies which are actively doing the bidding of the demonic principalities in the deep state, in Jesus name.  We forgive all those who were "following orders" and pray that they would fall into the hands of the Living God and repent unto salvation which leads them to walk in Your light and bring about the destruction of these agencies, in Jesus Holy Name. Amen.

- "O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire. . . . Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Lord."  (Psalm 83:13, 14, 16)

FBI Director Wray pressed on 8 ISIS-linked border crossers released into US
Republican Sen. Jerry Moran warned that terrorists 'will inevitably exploit' Biden administration parole policies for illegal border crossers

Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., penned a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Thursday, demanding answers on how eight Tajikistan nationals — who crossed the border illegally and were later arrested in three major American cities over the past several days amid suspicion they have ties to the terror group ISIS — had been released into the U.S. interior in the first place.

Moran called on Wray to elaborate on testimony he gave last week before the Senate Appropriations' Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies, which has oversight of the FBI.

"Last week, during the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) budget hearing before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies, we discussed the concerning trend that more known or suspected terrorists are exploiting our southern border to gain access to the United States. Today, we have learned that eight ISIS suspects, nationals of Tajikistan, were finally arrested after crossing the southern border last year, despite being vetted during their initial processing," Moran wrote in the letter, exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital. "The Biden administration’s policies allow those entering our country illegally to move freely about the United States. The FBI, along with its intelligence and law enforcement partners, must act decisively to stop the terrorists who will inevitably exploit this vulnerability."

The senator wrote that he and Wray shared "the same concern about suspected terrorists and watch-list subjects crossing the border."

Wray testified last week, "The bigger problem, in my view, is twofold. One, individuals who, when they come in, are either armed with fake documents or snuck in some way or — or, and this is very important, individuals for whom there's not enough derogatory information in the intelligence community to watch list them yet."

Given the eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS "were allowed to enter the US and later arrested in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia by Immigration and Customs Enforcement [ICE] in conjunction with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force," Moran pressed Wray to answer "based on your understanding of this case and our discussion last week, how were these individuals allowed to enter the United States?" (Fox News) Read more here.

- Mighty God, thank You that this Senator is taking action and asking the all-important question of the FBI – what are they doing to stop this issue? It is insufficient to be advised repeatedly about the troubles on the horizon, we can see that, we pray for the FBI to do their job of protecting this nation against true and deadly threats.  We also thank You Father for protecting us and exposing the danger points in the wind and we pray for the stability to stand in the face of growing storms, tremblings, or worse, in Jesus name.

- "'Therefore thus say the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:  "He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.  By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city," says the Lord.'"  (Isaiah 37:33-34)

1. Top Biden envoy meets with Netanyahu as conflict in north heats up - JNS

Amos Hochstein, deputy assistant to the U.S. president and senior adviser for energy and investment, met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his office in Jerusalem on Monday as the Biden administration attempts to prevent a wider war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

A White House official told Reutersthat Hochstein was expected to discuss averting further escalation at the Blue Line, the temporary border demarcated by the U.N. in 2000, after the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.

Joining Hochstein and Netanyahu for the meeting were Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, the prime minister’s chief of staff Tzachi Braverman, military secretary Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman and foreign policy adviser Dr. Ophir Falk, and deputy chief of mission at the U.S. embassy in Israel Stephanie Hallett.

Hochstein said that de-escalation is possible in the north, but that there is no “magic solution” to the security situation, which is largely dependent on what happens in Gaza. (Read more)

2. Israeli cabinet to act against PA, unilateral Palestinian statehood - Jerusalem Post

The Security Cabinet is set to vote at its next meeting on a series of measures against the Palestinian Authority and countries that unilaterally recognize Palestinian statehood, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office.

“The Prime Minister instructed that all of the proposals be submitted to a vote at the next Security Cabinet meeting,” the PMO stated.

It spoke out after the Security Cabinet met late Sunday night to discuss the measures, which would include “steps to strengthen settlement in Judea and Samaria.” (Read more)

3. Netanyahu Disbands War Cabinet, Says No Need After Gantz’s Resignation - Algemeiner

i24 News — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that he will dissolve the six-member War Cabinet, a move that was expected following the departure from government of the centrist former general Benny Gantz.

During a meeting of the State Security Cabinet, Netanyahu said that the War Cabinet was established following Blue and White leader Gantz’s demand to join the coalition, and that after he left there is no reason to maintain it.

Netanyahu made it clear that he will continue limited security consultations. He rejected establishing a forum of coalition heads for security consultations, an idea that was brought up during the meeting. (Read more)

4. Israeli anti-government protesters rally in Jerusalem - Reuters
JERUSALEM, June 17 (Reuters) - Anti-government protesters took to the streets of Jerusalem on Monday, clashing with police near the house of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and calling for new elections.

Netanyahu once again sits atop one of the most right-wing coalitions in Israel's history after a wartime unity government fell apart a week ago when two centrist former generals, Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot, quit.

Netanyahu is now dependent on ultra-Orthodox and far-right partners, whose hardline agenda caused a major rift in Israeli society even before Hamas' Oct. 7 assault sparked the war in Gaza. (Read more)

5. Security cabinet mulls penalizing Palestinian Authority for statehood moves - Times of Israel

The security cabinet on Sunday discussed potential measures to strengthen settlement in the West Bank, in part as a response to Spain, Ireland, and Norway recognizing a Palestinian state last month.

The measures would also be a reaction to the Palestinian Authority’s hostile moves against Israel in international forums, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

However, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara asked for time to comment further on some of the proposals in the coming days. The Shin Bet internal security service and the Israel Defense Forces both oppose any steps that may lead to the collapse of the Palestinian Authority, according to Hebrew media reports.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered all the proposals to be brought for a vote at the next meeting of the full cabinet, scheduled for Sunday. (Read more)

1. Exclusive — Duke Buckner: Black Community Realizing They Were Better with Trump - Breitbart

The black community has  a clear comparison and can see that they were better under the leadership of former President Donald Trump, Duke Buckner, challenger of Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily.

Buckner first pointed to the economic realities that Americans know all too well.

Buckner said he explains to voters that the “Democratic Party today is not the Democratic Party of our parents.”

“The progressive Democrats have stolen the party —  really, have taken over the party and swung so far to the left, that many folks are saying in the African American community that, you know, I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me,” he revealed.

And so they’re moving and saying and identifying as being more independent and voting for the person and not the party instead of voting straight ticket,” he said, as he and host Mike Slater spoke about Trump speaking to a black church in Detroit over the weekend.

“Trump at that church in West Detroit, and the biggest applause line was I won’t let men and women’s bathrooms and everyone went nuts,” Slater noted.

Buckner said he disagrees with the chatter that Trump will not perform better among black voters than Republicans traditionally do.

“I disagree with that, and I don’t share this is jokingly, but it’s a true story. I was out campaigning and an African American gentleman came up to me and I said, ‘Yeah, you know, what do you think about the, you know, situation with President Trump?’ And he said, ‘Well, I’m gonna vote for him because he’s one of us now,'” he said, adding, “I know that’s funny but what he was saying was listen, we can identify with this sham trial that the President just went through.” (Read more

- Lord, thank You for this realization that the black community was better under President Trump! We pray for a landslide turnout at this election in Jesus name!

- "The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame." (Proverbs 3:35)

2. State bar quaking, warns lawyers not to criticize lawfare against Trump - WND

The Connecticut Bar Association is warning lawyers against criticizing the politicized prosecutions of President Donald Trump because that could become "dangerous rhetoric."

The association recently dispatched to members a message signed by Maggie Castinado, its president, James T. Shearin, president-elect, and Emily Gianquinto, vice president.

They warn against "reckless words" that attack the integrity of the nation's judicial system.

They charged, "In the wake of the recent trial and conviction of former President Donald Trump, public officials have issued statements claiming that the trial was a 'sham,' a 'hoax,' and 'rigged'; our justice system is 'corrupt and rigged'; the judge was 'corrupt'' and highly unethical'; and, that the jury was 'partisan' and 'precooked.'"

There also have been comparisons to communist "show" trials, in which the defendant is guilty and the court hearings are simply to create the appearance of a judicial proceeding.

Those comments, the association claims, "cross the line from criticism to dangerous rhetoric."

The attempt to suppress speech with doesn't align with the politics of the association comes as a number of Democrat prosecutors continue their courtroom assaults on Trump.

Already, Arthur Engoron, a judge in New York, has demanded a punishment of nearly half a billion dollars for the way Trump negotiated loans for his corporation, practices that industry insiders described as routine. In fact, no one lost money or complained and the bankers involved wanted to do more business with Trump. And Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg took claims of business reporting misdemeanors that already had passed the statute of limitations and claimed they were felonies because they led to a further, unspecified, crime. A jury in the leftist enclave of New York convicted Trump in a decision that now is on appeal. (Read more)

- Lord, we intercede over this instruction by the State bar advising lawyers not to criticize the justice system over the treatment of Trump. Let the truth be known and any biases by judges and lawyers of the cases against Trump be brought to the light.

- "Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man." (Prov 3:4)

3. 'Silver lining' found in Supremes' rejection of abortion-pill challenge - WND

There's a "silver lining" in a new U.S. Supreme Court decision that otherwise might be viewed as a temporary setback for the pro-life movement.

The decision on a technicality means the court never got to the point of considering whether that expansion of access to the deadly chemicals, including allowing them to be mailed out to women, was right or not.

The plaintiffs had noted that part of Joe Biden's pro-abortion advocacy was to redefine various words, thus requiring emergency room physicians to perform abortions, even in violation of their faith, if it is an "emergency."

During the arguments, Hawley explained, "the solicitor general was crystal clear that these protections apply in emergencies in every setting."

"And the Supreme Court actually said, and I’m quoting here, 'The federal law fully protects doctors against being required to provide abortions or other medical treatment against their consciences.' And as you identified, that’s a huge win for religious liberty and freedom of conscience, because the Biden administration has been continually cutting back on those conscience protections. But because of the lawsuit brought … the government really was forced to concede that those conscience protections exist, and they are robust," she explained.

Perkins described that was "a silver lining" in the court ruling in a dispute that remains far from over.

Perkins pointed out, "There are other states — I believe Missouri is one of the states, Idaho is one of those states — that [have] a separate lawsuit regarding the FDA and the abortion drug. Can you give us an update on what is different about their case and where it stands?" (Read more)

- We pray over the silver lining regarding the abortion pill, and we pray that doctors are not forced to give the pill or to do abortions against their consciences. We continue to pray over The unborn and pray that more legislation would be brought forward to protect The unborn.

- "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." (Psalm 127:3)

4. Sanctuary city quietly sending illegal immigrants to red state - WND

The self-described sanctuary city of Denver, Colorado is quietly paying for illegal immigrants to travel to Utah, according to Republican Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox.

Without the approval or advance knowledge of local officials, Denver has been paying for migrants to relocate to other places, including Utah, where approximately 2,000 have been sent, 2KUTV News reported Thursday. Cox said Friday the practice is “unacceptable” and a result of the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

“We recently learned that the Democrat mayor of Denver has been sending illegal immigrants to Utah without proper notification or approval,” Republican Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox wrote Friday on X. “This is completely unacceptable and follows on the failed catch-and-release policy of the Biden administration.” (Read more)

- Lord, we pray these sanctuary cities such as Denver Colorado would be vocal about the immigrants that are overwhelming their state and they are having to send them to other states. We pray they would stand up to the Biden administration and try to come with up with another solution.

- "Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice." (Prov 16:8)

5. Forever War: Zelensky, Western Leaders Reject Putin Ceasefire Proposals at Swiss Peace Summit - Breitbart

Western leaders rejected Vladimir Putin’s framework for a ceasefire while backing Ukraine’s demands that Russia return all occupied territories as the basis for any potential peace agreement.

The “first annual Global Peace Summit” held in the luxury Swiss resort of Burgenstock, which did not include any representatives from Moscow, concluded with the status quo essentially remaining the same, with Ukraine continuing to demand that Russia cede territory in the East and Crimea as a prerequisite for actual peace talks to begin, a likely non-starter for Vladimir Putin.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, which saw around 100 delegates from 92 countries and eight international organisations attend, President Zelensky claimed that all participants agreed that Ukraine’s “territorial integrity” must be kept intact, Ukrinform reports.

Despite Ukraine failing to recapture the occupied regions in the Donbas during last year’s counteroffensive, Zelenksy’s chief-of-staff Andriy Yermak said that there would be “no compromise on independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity” in any peace negotiations with Russia.

Before the summit, Vladimir Putin said that Russia would be willing to agree to a ceasefire and potential peace with Ukraine if Kyiv withdraws its troops from the mostly ethnically Russian territories, which Moscow now claims sovereignty over, citing the internationally contested referenda held in the regions to join Russia. (Read more)

- We do pray for a peaceful solution between Russia and Ukraine. We pray an end of this war and that each side could agree on terms.

- "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all." (Romans 12:18)

Walking In Peace Amidst Turmoil

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 17, 2024

There was a time when pageant contestants, in their interview portion, seemed to end with the goal of “world peace.” People want to say it, but do they really want to live it? Everywhere we look today, there is no peace. If people don’t get their way, they throw tantrums, burn buildings, shoot people, start wars, whatever, then blame it on the ones who are attacked. How many times have you been accused of something out of nowhere, and doing such a deed had never entered your mind? But the person accusing you, is doing that very thing? There is so much division in the world today, it’s very difficult to find peace. Like Jeremiah declaring they say “Peace, peace when there is no peace.” But there can be.

In the weekly reading of Torah, called the parashah, Chapters 4-7 of Numbers go into great detail about how the Israelite camp is to be set up, the interaction of the priests, requirements for restitution of sin, the necessities of the Nazarite, even how a woman causing her husband to be jealous was to be handled. All these things seem to be unrelated, but spelling them out has deep meaning and purpose. In the midst of these details, the priestly blessing is given in Numbers 6:23-27, “May Adonai bless you and keep you. May Adonai make his face shine on you and show you his favor. May Adonai lift up his face toward you and give you peace.” Some question why this blessing is given after these detailed instructions. Read More

Weather Agency Warns Heat Wave to Impact Tens of Millions of Americans This Week
Tens of millions of Americans across the Midwest and East Coast will be under excessive heat advisories this week.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued heat advisories and excessive heat warnings for a swath of the U.S. East Coast and Midwest for Monday and Tuesday, while the weather agency separately warned that the temperatures will only increase as the week progresses.

“Record-breaking heat is forecast to expand from the Midwest and Great Lakes to the Northeast this week, potentially lingering through early next week,” the NWS wrote in a statement posted on social media.

A map posted by the NWS and other weather services suggest that tens of millions of Americans across more than a dozen states will see high temperatures. Major cities including Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York City, Boston, and Albany in New York could see “extreme” temperatures, according to the agency.

“The duration of this heat wave is notable and potentially the longest experienced in decades for some locations,” the NWS continued.

The federal weather agency also estimated more than 72 million people were under “heat alerts“ on Monday. A day prior, more than 60 million were under similar weather advisories, according to a NWS website.

“We have already seen some pretty significantly high temperatures in our area,” said Ted Whittock, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix. “We are recommending that everyone reduce their time outdoors between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., stay hydrated and wear light, looser fitting clothing.” Read More

- Father, we pray for the millions of people that will be impacted by this dangerous heat wave. We ask for Your protection of lives that are vulnerable to excessive temperatures. Give them wisdom and discernment to take precautions assuring their health is protected. We also ask for Your hand to be upon the power grid to supply necessary resources for adequate cooling and safety.

- "For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall." (Isaiah 25:4)
And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

A massive solar storm hits Mars, revealing a risk for future astronauts on the red planet
(CNN) — When the sun unleashed an extreme solar storm and hit Mars in May, it engulfed the red planet with auroras and an influx of charged particles and radiation, according to NASA.

The sun has been showcasing more activity over the past year as it nears the peak of its 11-year cycle, called solar maximum, which is predicted to occur later this year.

Within recent months, there has been a spike in solar activity, such as X-class flares, the strongest of solar flares, and coronal mass ejections, or large clouds of ionized gas called plasma and magnetic fields that erupt from the sun’s outer atmosphere.

Solar storms that reached Earth in May sparked colorful auroras that danced in the skies over areas that rarely experience them, such as Northern California and Alabama.

The storms originated from a massive cluster of sunspots that happened to face Earth. Then, that sunspot cluster rotated in the direction of Earth’s cosmic neighbor: Mars.

Astronomers used the plethora of orbiters encircling the red planet, as well as rovers driving across its surface, to capture the impacts of a solar storm on Mars firsthand — and to understand better what kind of radiation levels the first astronauts on the red planet may experience in the future. Sean Feucht Goes to Legal Battle for Free Speech
“Let Us Worship” leader Sean Feucht is going to legal battle with the city of Spokane, Washington for the sake of free speech. Sean Feucht has filed a lawsuit against the city of Spokane for what he believes was a violation of freedom of religion and expression, according to Inlander. Last year, the city passed a resolution condemning Feucht’s event where Nadine Woodward, the city’s former mayor, came on stage to pray with Feucht and a former state representative, Matt Shea.

The Spokane city council said that they do not, “condone the hateful and dangerous behavior and beliefs espoused by Matt Shea and Sean Feucht, nor does it condone Mayor Woodward’s public appearance with him.” Now, Feucht is fighting back from what he considers this action to be an overreach by the government. “I am not ashamed of the gospel,” Feucht wrote on Facebook. It is the only hope we have as a people and a nation. Our nation was founded by Christians on biblical principles. Even our money is inscribed with "‘In God We Trust.’ Sadly, our government has been captured by people who hate Christians and despise everything we stand for,” Feucht continued. Feucht said that the city’s actions are “anti-Christian bigotry.” Read More>

- Father, thank You for Sean Feucht who has stood strong in the midst of the enemy and continues to walk victoriously in Christ Jesus!  Bless him for his obedience to Your Calling, and protect him and his family, as he continues to tour state capitols bringing Holy Spirit worship into cities across America. We ask for favor throughout this court case and Your presence to be evident in the courtroom giving testimony of Your holy righteousness. We proclaim that Christians across America will boldly denounce religious discrimination rebuking the plans of the enemy to silence us and declaring VICTORY for all sons and daughters belonging to the Most High King! In the powerful Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

- "Then he said to me, 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of armies." (Zechariah 4:6)

The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

Lyrics:
I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

Refrain
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him, and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms I do flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

Refrain

Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!

Refrain

Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

Refrain

If one should ask of me, how can I tell?
Glory to Jesus, I know very well!
God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,
Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

Refrain

In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blessed;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.
