US envoy sought to advance Iran deal in low-key Oman visit
Brett McGurk made an unpublicized trip to Muscat on May 8.

U.S. President Joe Biden’s White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk visited Oman on May 8 to discuss with officials there the possibility of reaching out to Iran regarding its nuclear program, according to Axios.

McGurk traveled to Muscat after visiting Saudi Arabia with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and then Israel to brief Prime Minister Netanyahu on the talks Sullivan held with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. (JNS.org) Read more here.

- Lord God, we offer a prayer of repentance that the Biden administration is continuing to maintain talks with our sworn enemy, behind closed doors and behind our backs. We ask that these talks fail, and that our nation be kept safe from danger from the nation of Iran. Amen.

House GOP to Hold FBI Director in Contempt of Congress

FBI Director Christopher Wray has refused to comply with a May 30 deadline to hand over a document alleging that then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national were allegedly involved in a criminal scheme, announced House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.)

“Today, the FBI informed the committee that it will not provide the unclassified documents subpoenaed by the committee,” said Comer in a statement. “The FBI’s decision to stiff-arm Congress and hide this information from the American people is obstructionist and unacceptable.”

Comer is scheduled to have a phone call with Wray on May 31. Nonetheless, said Comer, the Oversight Committee will move forward to hold Wray in contempt of Congress.

“While I have a call scheduled with FBI Director Wray tomorrow to discuss his response further, the committee has been clear in its intent to protect Congressional oversight authorities and will now be taking steps to hold the FBI Director in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a lawful subpoena,” said Comer.

“Americans deserve the truth, and the Oversight Committee will continue to demand transparency from this nation’s chief law enforcement agency.”

Earlier on May 30, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said the House would hold Wray in contempt of Congress if the FBI did not comply with the subpoena.

“I personally called Director Wray and told him he needs to send that document; today’s the deadline,” he said on Fox News. “Let me tell Director Christopher Wray right here, right now: If he misses the deadline today, I’m prepared to move contempt charges in Congress against him.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that the House Oversight Committee is holding FBI Director Christopher Wray accountable for his actions in this investigation. We ask that all corruption be revealed and that Director Wray would reveal all truths in this investigation, in Jesus' name,

- "He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known."

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israeli DM Briefs CENTCOM Chief on ‘Firm Hand’ Simulation of Multi-Front War - Jewish Press

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant met Tuesday night with US CENTCOM Commander, General Michael “Erik” Kurilla at the Defense Ministry’s Kirya headquarters in Tel Aviv to brief the American commander on the launch of the two-week IDF military exercise “Firm Hand,” (Fist Punch), which simulates a multi-front threat on the State of Israel.

Gallant expressed his appreciation to Kurilla for his great contribution to the ongoing cooperation and deep bond between the United States and Israel.

The Israeli defense minister also emphasized the importance of US involvement in ensuring stability and expanding the circle of peace in the Middle East. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu asks Arab MKs to work with him on community violence, bypassing Ben Gvir - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited Arab lawmakers to meet with him personally about the wave of deadly violence plaguing their community rather than leaving the matter to far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who is in charge of the Israel Police.

Arab MKs are refusing to accept Ben Gvir’s being at the meeting, Channel 12 reported Tuesday, citing an unnamed source as saying, “Netanyahu and we are really not interested in Ben Gvir’s presence at the discussion.”

Netanyahu extended his public invitation to the Arab MKs during a debate Monday in the Knesset on “The government’s helplessness in the face of doubling murder cases.” The debate was called by the opposition with the support of lawmakers to require Netanyahu be present. (Read more)

3. Judges in Netanyahu trial said to have urged mediation shortly before AG nixed it - Times of Israel

Before Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara’s decision against a non-binding mediation process in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, the three Jerusalem District Court judges overseeing the case recently met with the sides and pushed them to agree, Channel 12 news reported Wednesday.

The network, which didn’t cite a source, asserted that the target audience of the meeting two weeks ago was Baharav-Miara, who informed Netanyahu’s legal team earlier this week that the process would not move forward.

According to the station’s assessment, the judges’ efforts indicated they think both the prosecution and defense need to reconsider the value of continuing what is already a prolonged trial and one with no clear end in sight. (Read more)

4. Israel's FM Cohen says Hungary will move embassy to Jerusalem - i24 News

Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on Wednesday said Hungary would become the first European Union state to move its embassy to Jerusalem, effectively recognizing the holy city as Israel's capital.

His announcement came as he met his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó in Budapest, with the latter declaring that "cooperation between Hungary and Israel has reached a historic peak.”

“Hungary supports us in the international arena,” Cohen said, speaking at a Chabad synagogue. “More good news is that in a number of weeks, Hungary will be the first EU state to announce that it is moving its embassy to Jerusalem."  (Read more)

5. Netanyahu welcomes Paraguay's intention to return embassy to Jerusalem - i24News

In a phone call, Netanyahu congratulated the economist and former finance minister for his victory in the election earlier this month, which extended the long rule of Pena’s conservative Colorado Party.

The two leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and noted that this would promote economic initiatives, growth, and prosperity for both Jerusalem and Asuncion.

Netanyahu further welcomed Pena’s intention to return the Paraguayan Embassy to Jerusalem immediately upon assuming office in August later this year, and the two agreed to meet soon to discuss economic cooperation. (Read more)

1. Here’s what’s in, what’s out of the debt limit bill to avert US default - Associated Press

The Democratic president and Republican speaker have to win their respective parties’ support for the plan in time to avert a default that would shake the global economy. On Tuesday, lawmakers began scrutinizing and debating the legislation, which also includes provisions to fund medical care for veterans, change work requirements for some recipients of government aid and streamline environmental reviews for controversial pipelines and other energy projects.

The agreement would keep nondefense spending roughly flat in the 2024 fiscal year and increase it by 1% the following year, as well as suspend the debt limit until January 2025 — past the next presidential election.
For the next fiscal year, the bill matches Biden’s proposed defense budget of $886 billion and allots $704 billion for nondefense spending.

The agreement would rescind about $30 billion in unspent coronavirus relief money that Congress approved through previous bills. It claws back unobligated money from dozens of federal programs that received aid during the pandemic, including rental assistance, small business loans and broadband for rural areas. The White House has said that the deal also includes an agreement to take $20 billion from the IRS over the next two years and use that money for other nondefense programs. (Read more)

- We Pray for our members of Congress and the president. We Pray for wisdom and a heart to do what is right and responsible with our money–which ultimately belongs to God. We Pray for repentance from recklessness, and for steps toward a long-term solution. And we also Ask you Lord how we can be a good steward of the money you’ve entrusted to us.

- “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”  (1 Timothy 6:10)

2. Christian schools and parents file lawsuit against state over PSEO exclusion - Alpha News

Crown College and the University of Northwestern-St. Paul, along with concerned parents, filed a lawsuit in federal court Wednesday against Gov. Tim Walz.
The lawsuit was filed regarding legislation that excludes schools with a statement of faith from participating in the Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, which allows Minnesota high school students to earn college credits for free.

The provision in question was removed via a GOP amendment from an education omnibus bill in April but was reinserted into the bill by a conference committee dominated by DFL members. That bill was signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Walz and prohibits religious colleges from requiring on-campus PSEO students to sign a faith statement attesting to the institution’s beliefs and values. The new law also forbids schools from basing “any part of the admission decision on a student’s race, creed, ethnicity, disability, gender, or sexual orientation or religious beliefs or affiliations.”

Republicans argued that the change is unconstitutional and will create a shortage of available PSEO programs. (Read more)

- Lord, in the face of religious discrimination, we pray that all faith-based institutions in Minnesota and beyond would remain steadfast in their commitment to You and Your Word. We pray that all attempts to infringe on the rights of faith-based organizations would fail. We pray that you would guide and sustain the Beckett legal team as they argue their case in court, and we ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to the judge that will hear and evaluate this case. Amen.

- “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)

3. Parents Take School Board to Court for Assigning LGBTQ Books Without Their Consent - Daily Signal

Six Maryland parents of different religious backgrounds are suing the Montgomery County Board of Education for forcing their children to read LGBTQ “pride” books without parental knowledge or consent.
The federal lawsuit comes after the school board in the affluent Maryland county created a list of 13 newly approved “LGBTQ-inclusive” books and informed parents that they no longer would be allowed to opt their children out of the curriculum.

The lawsuit filed by three couples, which names individual school board members as well as Superintendent Monifa McKnight, argues that this action violated both a board policy and a state law requiring school boards to inform parents of any material related to “sexuality” and allow them to “withdraw the child from the course or lesson.”

The Maryland law specifically states that parents have the right “to object to instructional material and other materials, … if the objection is based on beliefs regarding morality, religion, philosophy, any fundamental value system deemed important by a parent, or the belief that the materials are harmful.” (Read more)

- Lord Jesus, my heart is heavy for my country, the children, and the church in midst of this craziness. Help us to stand like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, faithful no matter the cost. Through our witness, continue drawing people to your gospel of redemption, forgiveness, and transforming grace. Bless our judges and officials and let them protect our right to obey You and raise our children in Your truth. Let us all turn away from this falsehood in Jesus name.

- “We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.” (1 John 4:6)

4. Suspected Chinese spies, disguised as tourists, tried to infiltrate Alaskan military bases - USA Today

Chinese citizens posing as tourists but suspected of being spies have made several attempts in recent years to gain access to military facilities in this vast state studded with sensitive bases, according to U.S. officials.

In one incident, a vehicle with Chinese citizens blew past a security checkpoint at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, several soldiers told USA TODAY. The vehicle was eventually stopped, and a search found a drone inside the vehicle. The occupants claimed they were tourists who had gotten lost.

Many of the encounters have been chalked up to innocent mistakes by foreign visitors intent on viewing the northern lights and other attractions in Alaska, officials say. Other attempts to enter U.S. military bases, however, seem to be probes to learn about U.S. military capabilities in Alaska, according to multiple soldiers familiar with the incidents but who were not authorized to speak publicly about them.

Not all who appear to be tourists in Alaska, are, in fact tourists, one Army officer said. Instead, they are foreign spies. (Read more)

- In the name of Jesus, we bind all efforts by communist countries and other countries, trying to infiltrate and spy on us that their plans are cast down and completely canceled. We plead the blood of Jesus over this country, our military, our children, our schools, our governments that they will not be infiltrated and that they will all turn back to you in Jesus name amen.

- “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me.” (Isaiah 54:17)

5. Oklahoma Supreme Court overturns two abortion bans - Washington Examiner

The Oklahoma Supreme Court struck down two state laws banning abortion on Wednesday morning. The court overturned by a 6-3 decision both HB 4327 and SB 1503, each of which banned abortion except for a “medical emergency” threatening the life of the mother.

Wednesday’s case upheld a precedent set in a related case in March, finding that no aspect of either HB 4327 or SB 1503 could be salvaged without the court entirely rewriting the statute. The precedent was set in the March case Oklahoma Call for Reproductive Justice v. Drummond, when the court, in a 5-4 decision, held “that the Oklahoma Constitution creates an inherent right of a pregnant woman to terminate her pregnancy when necessary to preserve her life.”

March’s ruling also found that the “absolute certainty” of a condition endangering a mother’s life “is not required, however, mere possibility or speculation is insufficient” justification for obtaining an abortion. (Read more)

- We pray for the Supreme Court in this state and all courts of our land, that they would fight the urge to destroy our freedoms and liberties. Instead, help our courts Lord, to renew their commitment to defending the right to life, in Jesus name, amen.

- “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” (Galatians 5:13)

6. Mike Pence to announce presidential campaign with June 7 rally in Des Moines - Des Moines Register

Former Vice President Mike Pence will publicly launch his presidential campaign June 7 with a rally in Des Moines, according to a source close to Pence who was not authorized to speak publicly about his plans. Pence has been widely expected to launch a run for the Republican nomination and has been laying the groundwork for a presidential campaign for months.

He has made regular visits to Iowa and is set to appear at U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst's annual Roast and Ride fundraiser this weekend, joining more than a half-dozen other presidential candidates, before his official launch.

The decision to announce the campaign with a rally in Des Moines reflects Iowa's importance in determining the future direction of the Republican Party, the source said. (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray for Mike Pence and every 2024 presidential hopeful, that they would all abandon their own opinions, their own ideologies and their own ways. We pray that they will look to you, and choose to stand for righteousness and justice, and restore, and heal our land in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

- “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.” (Hosea 6:1)

7. Department store chain sells transgender pride shirts for toddlers - New York Post

Belk is targeting children as young as 2 with transgender pride merchandise.
Until Tuesday, the department store chain’s website was selling a boys’ T-shirt that displayed the words, “So happy to be me,” and featured a blue, pink, and white happy face — the colors of the transgender pride flag.

The shirt was removed from Belk’s website just hours after Fox Business reached out asking if it was aware of the merchandise. The company did not provide a statement by press time.

“Show support with this kids’ Pride graphic t-shirt. Our toddler and youth t-shirt is soft and durable for everyday wear,” Belk’s description for the shirt stated.
While the description of the shirt said it was meant for boys ages 4 to 7, it was available in sizes as small as 2T (toddler).

Another pro-LGBTQ shirt for boys that are still currently on Belk’s website doesn’t have any words but features various ice cream confections bearing the colors of the lesbian flag, transgender flag, gay pride flag, bisexual flag and a milkshake with the letter Q for “Queer.” (Read more)

- Lord, this outright assault to confuse children and directly attack their purpose, and their identity is straight from the pit of hell. We thank you, Lord, that you would move upon this young generation in a mighty way. Give them experiential knowledge of you. We pray that you would give them dreams and give them visions and they would just have a powerful encounter with you so that they won’t have any questions anymore. They aren’t confused anymore. They know exactly who they are and they are just a Flame of fire for you in this generation. In Jesus name, amen.

- “In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17)

8. North Korea elected to World Health Organization executive board - DML

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has been elected to the executive board of the World Health Organization (WHO).The North Korean Ministry of Public Health’s Dr. Jong Min Pak has been seated on the WHO’s executive board with a term set to last until 2026.

The communist state’s new position on the board allows them a say in determining the organization’s agenda and policy prescriptions. The World Health Organization, created in 1948, is a a specialized agency of the United Nations, under the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Group, the report explains.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Tex.) reacted in fury to the news, tweeting, “The WHO just elected NORTH KOREA to its Executive Board. It is time for Congress to take up and pass Rep. Roy’s H.R. 343 No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization#DefundTheWHO.” (Read more)

- Lord God, it is extremely disturbing that communist countries are elected to this board with great power and influence. We are concerned about the effects that it may have on free countries like America. No tax dollar should be going to fund this organization if they will not stand for righteousness and justice. So we pray Lord, that you would speak to our leaders and help them reconsider our alliance with this organization, if they continue to choose to make these unethical choices. In the name of Jesus, amen.

- “Stand up for what you know is right, and judge all people fairly. Protect the rights of the poor and those who need help.”  (Proverbs 31:9)

Stupidocrisy: Transmania

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, May 31, 2023

America is in a spiritual war over government-sponsored depravity, sexual grooming, molestation, and mutilation of children becoming commonplace, legal and promoted by school systems without parental knowledge. This “transmania” is underscored by the complicity of media, government and corporations working together against children much like they conspired with the ineffective and unsafe vaccines during COVID. Already, Americans are pushing back hard, but government-corporate-media partnership targeting children continues relentlessly. In just the past month Bud Light and Target, who blatantly promoted this depravity have lost billions in market cap and are trying to recover from public disgust.

Examples of this spiritual war are found all across the country. The Epoch Times reports that the Queer Trans Project in Florida has mailed “959 kits to recipients in every state except North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, and Montana. The group hopes to double that amount this year.” Most recipients are youth, according the director of the group. It’s against the law in Florida, but the director doesn’t care, saying they will fight for their rights in court. In Ohio, Parents Defending Education, a national non-profit aimed at reclaiming schools from activists promoting harmful agendas, has filed a federal lawsuit against a Columbus-area school district for violating the free speech rights of students with its “Transgender Guidelines.” Read More

Debt Deal Advances

By Gary Bauer

The House Rules Committee voted 7-to-6 last night to advance the Biden/McCarthy debt limit deal, which would seem to make it a done deal. But it continues to be roundly criticized by leading conservatives.

The Heritage FoundationClub for Growth, Mike Pence’s Advancing American Freedom and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis all panned the deal.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the legislation tonight, formally known as the Fiscal Responsibility Act. If it passes with a majority of Democrat votes, Kevin McCarthy’s speakership could be in trouble.

Adding to the growing backlash is the fact that members of the Freedom Caucus who have read the 99-page bill insist that several items House leaders are promoting aren’t actually in the legislative text

Some defenders of the deal have suggested that it puts an end to the Biden’s student loan forgiveness debacle. That’s not guaranteed at all. Supposedly, it prohibits Biden from continuing to suspend student loan payments, but it does not stop his attempt to forgive student loan debt.

The only hope of really stopping Biden’s student debt scheme is the Supreme Court, which is expected to issue a ruling on this matter any day now.

Fidelity, not Pride, this June

Written by: John Stonestreet

Breakpoint Daily; Colson Center

An effort that seeks to reframe next month in a way that honors God, families, and country.

Ithe final few weeks of May were any indication, this June’s pride month noise will be louder and edgier than previous years. Already, the controversy surrounding Target’s new line of clothing, produced in partnership with a clothing company that also produces clothing to celebrate Satanism, has dominated the nation’s headlines. Incredulously, most mainstream media outlets (and a few “Christian” ones) have painted as the bad guys those concerned about children being groomed instead of the corporate and activist entities doing the actual grooming. However, there are plenty of people not fooled by this narrative, given the financial hit Target has already taken.

And then there is the strange saga of the L.A. Dodgers. After a rather public back and forth, the Major League Baseball team decided to platform an LGBTQ organization that is known for its hyper-sexualized performances that openly blaspheme Jesus and mock Christian symbolism. Such mockery would never be tolerated if directed at other religious groups. But in a culture lost in what might be called a “critical theory mood,” even the most extreme acts are seen through the lens of predetermined cultural groupings that have been given moral status. Not only did the Dodgers organization backpedal their initial reversal, the so-called “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” will now be given some kind of Community Hero Award.

In response, Christians must do two things. First, we can and should protest both with our voices and our pocketbooks. Dodgers players and Target shoppers will need to think through where the line of complicity is. Second, we should proclaim a better way. One of Chuck Colson’s closest colleagues and collaborators has an idea worth considering:

“By the authority vested in me by absolutely no one,” Professor Robert George of Princeton University wrote in an email last week, “I have declared June to be ‘Fidelity Month’—a month dedicated to the importance of fidelity to God, spouses and families, our country, and our communities.”

. . . There are a million things we can and should do to restore the faith of our people,” George continued, “but I would like you to join in one small one.” Fidelity Month will launch with a webinar that is open to the public, today, June 1, at 2 p.m. EST. Professor George will be joined by Lila Rose of Live Action, Andrew Walker of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Bill McClay of Hillsdale College, and others. Learn more and register for the webinar at www.fidelitymonth.com

Ice Age Volcano Spewing Methane Discovered
on Arctic Seabed

An ancient, methane-spewing volcano has been discovered at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean. The volcano, which lies at the center of a 1,000-foot-wide crater at a depth of 1,300 feet, likely formed as a result of a catastrophic burst of underwater methane at the end of the last Ice Age, researchers suggest.

A team from UiT Norway's Arctic University and REV Ocean discovered the explosive structure on May 7, 70 miles south of Norway's Bear Island in the Barents Sea.

"Seeing an underwater eruption in real time reminds me how 'alive' our planet is," Giuliana Panieri, the expedition leader and principal researcher for the UiT project, said in a statement.

The volcano itself—which the research team named the Borealis Mud Volcano—is fairly small, measuring only 8 feet tall and 23 feet wide. It is what is known as a mud volcano, a geological phenomenon that is formed from pressurized sediment beneath the earth's surface. According to the United States Geological Survey, this pressure can result from the earth's tectonic activity or from the accumulation of hydrocarbon gases like methane. Read More

Adopted Ukrainian Orphan Finally Gets Kidney After Being Denied For Vaccination Status
A Ukrainian teenager adopted by two U.S. Army veterans has finally received a kidney transplant after previously being denied the procedure by Duke University’s medical system because she had not received the COVID vaccine. Yulia, a Ukrainian orphan adopted by Chrissy and Lee Hicks, has finally received her new kidney and is expected to make a full recovery. The teenager suffers from a genetic kidney disorder, and was in desperate need of a life-saving kidney transplant, but Duke University’s medical system refused to perform the procedure last year because she was unvaccinated — despite the fact that the procedure constitutes life-saving medical care.

Due to the hospital’s refusal to treat her, Yulia’s family was forced to seek treatment elsewhere — which left them in a tough position to have to pay for expensive medical and travel costs. Yulia’s mother previously spoke to then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson about Duke’s refusal to treat her daughter. Thanks to an outpouring of support for Yulia, a GiveSendGo fundraiser provided the family with hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide the teenager with the medical treatment she needed. According to an update posted to the fundraiser’s page, Yulia has finally been given her new kidney. Yulia, who is still unvaccinated, received her kidney transplant at East Carolina University’s medical center. In response to Duke’s actions, the North Carolina state House of Representatives has overwhelmingly voted in favor of “Yulia’s Law” — a bill that prohibits medical discrimination based on COVID vaccine status. (Freedom Press) (Read more)
- Abba, we lift PRAISE to You for life-giving surgeries and thank you for restored health for this adopted daughter! In the name of Jesus, we speak against any future manipulations and coercions by hospitals based on a patient's vaccination status. We pray that You would expose all wicked plans and may the lawsuit against Duke bring justice for this family and protective laws for all who have experienced medical discrimination due to their denial of Covid shots!-Amen.

- "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" (Jeremiah 29:11)

Scripture: Ever the silver cord be loosed…then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:6–7

Lyrics:
Some day the silver cord will break,
And I no more as now shall sing;
But oh, the joy when I shall wake
Within the palace of the King!

Refrain
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace;
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace.

Some day my earthly house will fall.
I cannot tell how soon ’twill be;
But this I know—my All in All
Has now a place in Heav’n for me.

Refrain

Some day, when fades the golden sun
Beneath the rosy tinted west,
My blessèd Lord will say, Well done!
And I shall enter into rest.

Refrain

Some day: till then I’ll watch and wait,
My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Savior opens the gate,
My soul to Him may take its flight.
