Highland Park shooting suspect charged with 7 counts of murder, more expected
|
|
The Illinois State Attorney's Office announced the seven first-degree murder charges, one for each victim
|
|
Robert "Bobby" E. Crimo III was charged with murder Tuesday after firing 70 rounds into a July 4th parade in Highland Park, Illinois, killing seven people, authorities said.
The Illinois State Attorney's Office announced the seven first-degree murder charges, one for each victim. The office said the suspect, 21, faces a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole if he is convicted.
Six victims have been identified by the Lake County Coroner's Office as Katherine Goldstein, 64, Irina McCarthy, 35, Kevin McCarthy, 37, Jacquelyn Sundheim, 63, and Stephen Straus, 88, all of Highland Park; and Nicolas Toledo-Zaragoza of Morelos, Mexico, 78. A seventh victim has not yet been identified.
On Tuesday, the Illinois State Police said they flagged the suspect as a "clear and present danger" following an altercation between the suspect and members of his family in 2019. llinois police said the suspect threatened members of his family, but the members did not file a legal complaint preventing law enforcement officers from taking action.
"In September 2019, ISP received a Clear and Present Danger report on the subject from the Highland Park Police Department. The report was related to threats the subject made against his family," Illinois State Police said in a statement posted to Twitter by a Governor’s Office staff member. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we continue to offer You praise that this shooter was apprehended so quickly, and that justice is now being served for his crime. We pray now, too, for those who are mourning the loss of these seven victims. And Father God, we lift up a prayer for the child whose parents were slain. May His grandparents be graced, in the midst of this tragedy, with an infusion of quiet joy, as they now take on the role of being the ones who will raise this child. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayers, amen and amen.

Information Uncovered Overnight Shows Highland Park Shooter, Bobby Crimo, Is Tied to Socialists, Progressives, Antifa and the Occult
|
|
> > > A word of warning to our readers:
Please know that this article is loaded with symbols from the occult, and other dark sources. If you choose to read all of this news, we suggest you enter into prayer, first, for your own protection (of your mind), and take communion, as well.
The greater One IS with us, but we do need to walk in wisdom during these evil times. Thank you.

Looking over information that was collected following the deadly shooting, it is evident the Highland Park 4th of July parade killer, Bobby Crimo, has a very dark background.
Now we have information tying Crimo to progressives, socialists, Antifa and the occult. Crimo’s social network and lifestyle are all related to the progressive movement.
Crimo has ties to the Democratic Socialists of America as noted by the tattoo on his neck. This is the largest and fastest-growing socialist organization in the US.
Crimo also has ties to Antifa. In one picture on social media, he shares his dark Antifa outfit.
Crimo’s work is also very dark. He uses an icon throughout his social media.
This icon comes from ‘mystic set with magic circles, pentagrams and imaginary chakras symbols. Collection of icons with witchcraft and occult handwriting letters.’
Crimo shares the icon throughout his media posts. (The Gateway Pundit) Read more here.

- Lord God almighty, we ask for the soul of Bobby Crimo. Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he does . . . We thank You, O Lord, that You are yet able by an act of divine grace, to reach down from heaven and to rescue this young man. We pray also for the many others who are now lost in this dark web of destruction. May each one be found before they can harm others, and may each one, too, come to salvation. In Your name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.
- "Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he does." (Luke 23:34)

Highland Park July 4th shooting suspect's parents were 'a problem,' says former coach
|
|
The parents of accused Highland Park, Illinois, shooter Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III were "a problem" and always the last to pick him up from his afterschool sports program, the suspect's former coach told Fox News Digital.
"I remember the parents more than him because they were kind of a problem," recalled Jeremy Cahnmann, who ran an afterschool sports program at Lincoln Elementary School. "There wasn't a lot of love in that family."
Crimo was 9 or 10 when he was enrolled in Cahnmann's Nerf football program, along with his younger brother. "Every week, the Crimos were the last kids there, and we'd have to call their parents to pick them up," the former coach said, speaking of Crimo's dad, Bob Crimo, 58, and his mom, Denise Pesina, 48.
Pesina, however, was a handful, he said. "She got into it once with one of the heads of the program, she was yelling," he recalled. "It seemed like her kids were a nuisance to her."
"The signs were there for a long time," said a neighbor of Crimo. "There were always police cars at the house. The parents were arguing, fighting all the time."
Pesina is a self-proclaimed energy healer with her company called Trilogy Energy Systems, according to her Facebook page. His father once ran for mayor and had a local sandwich shop, Bob's Pantry and Deli, that has since shuttered.
The mom seemed unstable while the father was well liked in the community, locals told Fox News Digital.
At the time of the shooting, the younger Crimo was living with his father and uncle at a home in nearby Highwood. Neighbors said Pesina still lived in the Highland Park home, which had become an eyesore in the upscale suburb.
"I walk by the house every day, it looks like it should be condemned," said a local. "The landscaping is seven-feet high. I was thinking to myself the other day, we should really do a welfare check." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God,
We ask that You impress upon the hearts of all parents in our nation the absolute, critical importance of the need to lovingly monitor the beavior of their children. Let each parent serve as an example of godly living, and let them strive to establish an atmosphere of peace in their homes. If help is needed, let them find the grace and the courage to reach out for that assistance. May each one be led to a
counselor who will guide them in Your path, O Lord. We offer this prayer in Your name, amen and amen.
- "Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

1. Russia demands Israel unconditionally cease its ‘unacceptable’ Syria airstrikes - Times of Israel
Moscow on Monday condemned an alleged Israeli airstrike near a Russian stronghold in Syria over the weekend, calling Israel’s years-long air campaign in Syria “categorically unacceptable” and demanding it cease.
“We strongly condemn such irresponsible actions that violate the sovereignty of Syria and the basic norms of international law, and we demand their unconditional cessation,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a statement.
The relatively rare daytime strike on Saturday targeted an area near the Syrian town of al-Hamidiyah, south of Tartus, which is home to Russia’s main naval base in the region. Two civilians were injured and serious damage was caused to civilian infrastructure, Moscow said.
Syria has fingered Israel as responsible as well, though the IDF has yet to respond, in line with its policy of generally maintaining silence regarding specific actions in Syria. (Read more)

3. Lapid arrives in Paris, will press French president on Iran nuclear deal, Hezbollah - Israel Hayom
Speaking from the tarmac at Ben Gurion International Airport on Tuesday morning before departing for Paris, Prime Minister Yair Lapid said he will press French President Emmanuel Macron on the Iranian nuclear negotiations and urge a tougher Lebanese stance against Tehran-backed Hezbollah.
Lapid's visit to France, his first abroad since becoming caretaker premier last week, is also a chance to flex diplomatic muscles as Israelis gear up for a snap election in November. He is scheduled to return to Israel on Tuesday night.
France is among world powers trying to revive a 2015 nuclear deal with Iran that the previous US administration quit and which Israel opposed, deeming its caps insufficient. (Read more)

3. Gantz Warns Iran’s Military Red Sea Presence ‘Most Significant in Decade’ - Jewish Press
Defense Minister Benny Gantz warned participants at the 26th Annual Economist Government Roundtable on Tuesday that the presence of Iranian military forces in the Red Sea is “the most significant in a decade.”
“Iran is first a global challenge, then it is a regional challenge, and only then it is a threat to the State of Israel,” he said. Last week’s Iranian test launch of a satellite showed that the Iranian regime has the capability of developing intercontinental ballistic missiles that can reach “as far as the center of Europe.” This, he said, comes in addition to the operational ballistic system and UAVs that can already reach part of the Eastern Mediterranean.
“Iran is also expanding its activities in the maritime arena,” Gantz noted. “Over the last year Iran has seized international tankers and attacked vessels. Today we can confirm that Iran is … basing itself in the Red Sea, with its ships patrolling the southern region.” (Read more)

Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton (D) called for stricter gun control laws and said, “there are too many guns on our streets,” in a statement after a gunman murdered at least six and injured 24 more at a July 4 parade in Chicago’s Highland Park neighborhood.
Stratton offered her prayers for the Highland Park community but noted that “the pain we are feeling today is not normal and should never be.”
Stratton then went on to call for increased gun control.
“As we struggle to process all that is happening today, we must again say ENOUGH,” Stratton said. “There are too many guns on our streets and we must enact common-sense gun laws, stricter policies, and put resources in place to build the safe, healthy communities everyone deserves.” (Read more)

2. Doctor discusses scary stats on fentanyl - DML News
During a “Fox News Live” segment on Monday, July 4, Dr. Devi Nampiaparampil discussed a dangerous trend that families should be aware of. Citing the CDC, Fox News reported that fentanyl was responsible for 70% of 2020 drug overdoses. A visual display showing “fatal fentanyl overdose deaths” showed that such deaths numbered 37,271 in 2019, 57,834 in 2020, and a whopping 71,238 in 2020.
According to the report, fentanyl is quickly becoming the leading cause of drug overdose nationwide.
Dr. Nampiaparampil said that people often don’t think to call for help when a loved one overdoses on an opioid like fentanyl because those who overdose tend to look very peaceful. (Read more)

- Holy God, we ask for divine assistance in overthrowing this drug epidemic. We pray for fentanyl to be stopped and destroyed easily–even something creative like light, that can totally deactivate every deadly chemical in this drug. May the desire to use the drug cease as well and we especially demand that the medical community stops using it and oxycontin so the supply diminishes, in Jesus name.

3. Biden slams 'senseless gun violence that has yet again brought grief to an American community' - The Daily Mail
President Joe Biden slammed the gunman who opened fire on an Independence Day parade in Illinois on Monday, leaving six dead and injuring at least two dozen others, and says there is still more work that needs done on gun reform.
“Jill and I are shocked by the senseless gun violence that has yet again brought grief to an American community on this Independence Day,' Biden said in a statement following the attack.
The shooting happened the month after Congress passed and Biden signed the first major gun reform legislation since the 1990s. “But there is much more work to do, and I'm not going to give up fighting the epidemic of gun violence,' the president insisted. (Read more)

4. Company vows support for employees who give birth in response to employers covering abortion costs - Fox Business
Buffer Insurance condemned "secular" companies' response to the end of Roe v. Wade, vowing instead to support female employees who get pregnant and even cover the costs of giving birth.
The Texas-based company vowed to offer maternity and paternity leave to employees who have children, as well as cover the costs of their female employees giving birth. The company also promised to help out employees seeking to adopt children.
"Secular companies are paying the travel costs for employees to abort babies out-of state," Buffer wrote in a Facebook post. "Today we are announcing that Buffer will pay the costs for our employees who birth babies." (Read more)

5. Tok Confirms Employees in China Can Access American User Data - Brietbart
Bloomberg reports that the Chinese-owned viral video app TikTok has revealed that certain company employees based in China have access to the personal information of American users. The company’s admission came in a letter to nine U.S. senators who accused TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance Ltd., of monitoring U.S. citizens.
The senators asked TikTok whether China-based employees have access to U.S. users’ data, what role those employees play in developing TikTok’s algorithm, and if any of that information was shared with the Chinese government.
The CEO of TikTok parent company ByteDance, Shou Zi Chew, said in a June 30 letter that China-based employees who clear a number of internal security protocols can access certain information on U.S.-based TikTok users including public videos and comments. Chew claims that none of this information is shared with the Chinese government and is subject to “robust cybersecurity controls.” (Read more)

6. NJ Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy Signs ‘Gun Safety Package 3.0 - Brietbart
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) signed “Gun Safety Package 3.0” Tuesday, creating a database of all ammo sold in the state and putting six other new gun controls in place.
NJ.com notes that the legislation also bans .50 caliber rifles, requires “micro-stamping technology” on certain new firearms, and “[makes] it easier to sue gun manufacturers and dealers over gun crimes in the state.”
Murphy appeared on CNN prior to signing the laws and said, “We will continue, not to attack Second Amendment rights, we respect those rights, but to attack folks who should not have guns, folks who don’t know how to use those guns, manufacturers who deliberately market those guns in a way that leads to harm.” (Read more)

- Holy One, let us not be swayed by double-speak, but be convicted by truth. We pray for this governor to be brought to repentance so that he would let his yes be yes and his no, no. May the citizens of New Jersey have the mind of Christ and the courage of a lion to resist and oppose the whittling away at their 2nd Amendment freedoms, while being told it's not happening.

7. Biden administration to sue Arizona over law requiring proof of citizenship to vote - KAWC
The Biden administration is planning to sue Arizona over a new state law that requires proof of citizenship to vote for president.
Kristen Clarke, the assistant attorney general of the civil rights division of the Department of Justice, said she has authorized going to court over what she contends is a violation of the 1964 Voting Rights Act. The only thing that would stop that, Clarke said in a letter to Attorney General Mark Brnovich, is if the state is willing to settle the issue, presumably by an agreement not to enforce the law.
Brnovich responded Friday telling her, in essence, he will see her in court.
And he told Capitol Media Services this is about more than simply protecting the state's right to ensure that only citizens vote in elections. Brnovich said there is reason to believe all this is part of some larger scheme by some, including "neo-Marxists'' to allow people not in this country to influence elections. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask for Your intervention in this situation. This issue is likely to be contentious in the coming months and we believe that states are sovereign when it comes to their elections. We ask You to remove all resources and power from the overreaching within the Department of Justice. It seems their goal is obstruction of righteousness in the land and we bind that in the name of Jesus and declare Almighty God is the final arbiter of affairs in our states and this nation.

8. North Carolina redistricting case allows justices to decide who has power to dictate election rules - Just The News
The U.S. Supreme Court decision to hear a North Carolina redistricting case may have significant repercussions for the election-regulating powers of state legislatures across the country, says former Justice Department attorney J. Christian Adams.
The Supreme Court decided on Thursday to hear the case of Moore v. Harper next term, in which North Carolina GOP House Speaker Timothy Moore is asking that the principle of the "independent state legislature" be affirmed. Anchored in the U.S. Constitution, the principle assigns state legislators sole and "independent" authority to set rules for federal elections within their states, without state judges or the governor interfering or providing oversight.
The case that SCOTUS has decided to hear concerns the congressional redistricting map passed by North Carolina's Republican state Legislature, which the state Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional. In North Carolina, the governor is a Democrat, and the state Supreme Court has a narrow Democratic majority. (Read more)
|
|
- Praise God that the U.S. Supreme Court will hear this case; however, it will be completed after the upcoming election. We say yes to this case Abba. Please confirm the authority of each state's legislature to be responsible for state election rules and oversight. A group of people who are adversarial with one another is less likely to be corrupted and allow more opportunity for the citizenry to retain strength over their states.
- "'Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?'" (John 7:51)
> > > Please note: the Supreme Court has now completed its business for this year. The next judicial year will begin on the first week of October, this fall. Hence, this case will not be heard until sometime next year; with the decision made public in June, 2023.

Ohio church camp is housing children as young as 8 based on their gender identity, while parents will not be notified if a transgender counselor or camper is in their child's cabin, according to the camp's website.
Camp Akita, a mission of Columbus-based First Community Church, hosts camps for children entering first grade with overnight options available for kids entering third grade and above.
Counselors are assigned to cabins based off of their gender identity, the organization stated, adding that parents will not know the names of the counselors. (Read more)

10. Lawmakers introduce legislation to speed military aid, arms to Taiwan - Just The News
Two Republican members of Congress have introduced legislation to speed the delivery of U.S. arms sold to Taiwan in the face of growing hostility from China.
The Arms Exports Delivery Solutions Act would mandate that “defense equipment already purchased from the U.S. by Taiwan and other allies in the region are tracked and delivered as efficiently as possible as the Chinese Communist Party eyes further aggression,” according to a statement.
Reps. Young Kim, R-Calif., and Michael McCaul, R-Texas, introduced the bill last week before Congress took its July 4 recess.
China has shown increasing aggressiveness with military patrols and rhetoric as it seeks to unify with Taiwan, drawing rebukes from Washington and Taipei. (Read more)

Watch over Taiwan with Your love, in Jesus name.

Of Silence And Treason
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 5, 2022
As we stand in aftermath of the annual celebration of our national Liberty, I wonder what firebrand statesman will arise and proclaim to this nation that God’s Liberty is perfect liberty and that humanist freedom is akin to slavery. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” The bondage spoken herein is the bondage of sin from which Christ’s death and resurrection freed all believers. Yet, in the name of freedom, it is the humanist sin that continues to wrap itself around the very existence of this nation and is squeezing out the lifeblood of liberty.
Have we become a nation where the grace of God in His perfect Liberty is laid as an excuse to become enslaved in humanistic bondage because what God judges as unrighteous, man judges as righteous? Have we become a silent kingdom of God’s people, betraying our Father in Heaven in tolerance of human correctness? Are we to remain with a mouth to speak, but our words are empty and powerless because we fear man rather than God? The doctrines of men are the deceptions to freedom and the chains of bondage. If you have ears to hear, and know the truth of that Liberty which frees all, to keep silent upon it is shear treason. Read More

Defeated House Democrat from Oregon warns about rise of party's 'socialist wing'
|
|
|
After redistricting carved up the House seat in Oregon that centrist Democratic Rep. Kurt Schrader has represented for nearly 14 years, he is refusing to line up behind a more liberal party member who beat him in the primary.
On May 17, Schrader fell victim to a redrawn map that chopped up the 5th Congressional District that he currently represents, which includes parts of Oregon's central coast. Oregon gained a House seat due to strong population growth in the decade before the 2020 census, giving it six. But the newly configured district Schrader ran in proved less hospitable than his current one to the 70-year-old's brand of business-friendly centrism, which has included opposition to proposed hikes of the federal minimum wage and corporate regulations.
Schrader recently gave his first interview since his primary loss to Jamie McLeod-Skinner, an attorney who had the backing of several liberal Democrats and organizations. Schrader made it clear he doesn’t think voters chose the right candidate in a year in which it appears Republicans are going to surge back to win the House and Senate.
“I think red wave begins in Oregon — Oregon’s 5th District,” Schrader told a local news outlet last month. “That’s unfortunate.” (Read more)

Georgia Guidestones damaged by explosive device, GBI says
|
|
|
ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are investigating after an explosion destroyed the Georgia Guidestones in Elbert County, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. They said "unknown individuals" detonated an explosive device at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office responded to discover the explosion destroyed a large portion of the structure.
According to multiple people nearby, the explosion was heard in the area and even shook their homes. Some shared images showing debris near the stones.
A witness who lives about five miles from the site told NBC affiliate WYFF that they heard a boom and it woke them up. They went over there at daybreak and saw the damage.
NBC affiliate WYFF's helicopter was over the scene and saw pieces of the monument destroyed.
The Elbert County Sheriff's Office asked the GBI to assist with the investigation. GBI's Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit is on scene conducting their examination of the site, they said.
The Georgia Guidestones are inscribed with ten guiding principles, each etched in stone using languages from around the world. The meaning behind the mysterious 19-foot monoliths has been unclear since the structure was built in 1979.
No one knows exactly what the granite slabs are doing in the middle of a cow pasture - or who who put them there more than 40 years ago. The Guidestones are about 100 miles from Atlanta in the northeast corner of the state -- not far from the South Carolina border. (11 Alive)

5 ways people stayed cool before air conditioning was invented
|
|
Beating the scorching heat was much different before the advent of air conditioning, and many people had to be creative when trying to stay cool and comfortable on a hot summer afternoon.
As summer heat builds, more people will rely on air conditioning units to keep cool.
However, before air conditioning existed, people had to be creative when trying to stay comfortable in sweltering conditions.
Here are five different ways people across the United States beat the heat in the 1800s and early 1900s.
Water fountains
Water fountains were very different in the 1800s and early 1900s than they are now, but they still provided an easy way to cool off in the summer.
Some fountains in big cities were built as large troughs so people could do more than just take a drink of water. On a hot summer day, they were an oasis where people could submerge their heads to stay cool. Read More

49 Abortion Centers Have Closed Since Supreme Court Overturned Roe v. Wade
|
|
According to Operation Rescue’s first-hand investigation, over 49 abortion clinics have either halted abortions or have been forced to close their doors altogether since last Friday when the U.S. Supreme Court released its decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. The decision effectively overturned Roe v. Wade (1973) and its companion case Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992), placing the issue of abortion in the hands of the states.
More abortion mills will close in the coming days and weeks as state laws go into effect. Although efforts are being made in some states to block pro-life laws, the U.S. Supreme Court has already begun to bring correction to the methods used for years by the abortion industry to nullify state laws that protect life in the womb. Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court threw out three cases wherein lower courts had ruled to block enforcement of state pro-life laws passed in Arkansas, Arizona, and Indiana. The lower courts were instructed to reconsider those decisions in light of Roe’s overturn.
On top of the 49 plus abortion mills that have shut down, nine states are now completely abortion free. Since Roe and Casey decriminalized abortion in all 50 states, we are seeing an unprecedented number of states becoming abortion free. “This has been our plan all along, and we will continue to work until all states are free from the stranglehold of the abortion cartel,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “Without a doubt, the abortion cartel is losing ground,” said Newman. “This is a new day! Praise Jesus! We are so grateful for His faithfulness and so many faithful supporters for standing by us for such a time as this – we have much more work ahead of us. Let’s keep praying and working together to finally bring an end to abortion in our nation.” (Lifesite News)

Words and Music: Traditional Spiritual
Scripture: I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. Genesis 28:15
Lyrics:
I want Jesus to walk with me,
I want Jesus to walk with me;
All along my pilgrim journey,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.
In my trials, Lord, walk with me;
In my trials, Lord, walk with me;
When my heart is almost breaking,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.
When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me;
When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me;
When my head is bowed in sorrow,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.
