Trump slams opening ceremony of 2024 Paris Olympics: 'Thought it was a disgrace'
|
|
Critics say a scene parodied Leonardo da Vinci’s acclaimed painting 'The Last Supper'
|
|
Former President Trump condemned the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games amid outrage over a scene that critics say parodied Leonardo da Vinci’s acclaimed painting "The Last Supper."
"I thought that the opening ceremony was a disgrace, actually," Trump told "The Ingraham Angle" on Monday. "I thought it was a disgrace."
The scene depicted dancers and dancers in drag surrounding a table of what appeared to resemble the last dinner between Jesus and his disciples.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., also condemned the scene in a post on X, writing, "Last night’s mockery of the Last Supper was shocking and insulting to Christian people around the world who watched the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games." "The war on our faith and traditional values knows no bounds today. But we know that truth and virtue will always prevail," he wrote. (Fox News) Read more.

- Lord God, we understand we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the demonic spirits working behind people for unholy agendas. We forbid this evil to work and operate in our schools, our families, in the nations, in leadership, and we cast it down in Jesus Christ's name. We love those that do not realize they are being used for evil and we choose to extend forgiveness for they do not know what they do. Amen.
- “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

|
- We bless President Trump and members of Congress who have spoken out against this blasphemy. We thank those Christians who came to Paris and worshipped and prayed in response to this disgusting display of pagan idolatry, in Jesus name. We plead the blood of Jesus over Team USA and over all other athletes and break every curse that was released upon them, in Jesus name. We speak health, safety and soundness of body and mind for each person that suffered under this satanic release of evil, in Jesus' holy name. Amen.
- "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ," (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

Biden calls Speaker Johnson ‘dead on arrival’ in odd response to criticism of proposed radical SCOTUS changes
|
|
Johnson had called Biden's radical SCOTUS changes 'dead on arrival'
|
|
President Biden called House Speaker Mike Johnson "dead on arrival" during a strange interaction with a reporter on Monday.
The exchange came shortly after Biden called on Congress to impose term limits and a code of conduct on the Supreme Court. In a statement released earlier on Monday, Johnson condemned Biden's proposal to "radically overhaul the U.S. Supreme Court," and argued that doing so would "tilt the balance of power" and erode the rule of law.
"This proposal is the logical conclusion to the Biden-Harris Administration and Congressional Democrats’ ongoing efforts to delegitimize the Supreme Court," the Louisiana Republican argued. "Their calls to expand and pack the Court will soon resume."
"It is telling that Democrats want to change the system that has guided our nation since its founding simply because they disagree with some of the Court’s recent decisions," he added. "This dangerous gambit of the Biden-Harris Administration is dead on arrival in the House."
|
|
When a reporter asked Biden for his response after he arrived in Austin, Texas, on Monday afternoon, Biden gave a garbled response.
"Mr. President, House Speaker Johnson says your Supreme Court reform is ‘dead on arrival.’ What’s your reaction, sir?" a reporter inquired.
"Who said that?" Biden responded.
"Speaker Johnson said it’s ‘dead on arrival,’" the reporter repeated.
The president then responded, "I think that’s what he is." (Fox News) Read more here.

1. Israel kills Hezbollah mastermind behind Majdal Shams attack, 1983 Beirut bombing - JNS
An airstrike by the Israeli Air Force in Beirut on Tuesday night killed a top Hezbollah commander responsible for Saturday’s rocket barrage that killed 12 children in the Golan Heights, as well as a 1983 bombing that killed 241 U.S. troops in Beirut, the Israeli military confirmed.
The attack targeted Fuad Shukr, a senior operative of the Jihad Council, which is subordinate to Hezbollah’s Shura Council and is under the direct control of terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah, the IDF said.
“Today, July 30, 2024, in a targeted, intelligence-based elimination, Israeli Air Force fighter jets eliminated the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s most senior military commander and the head of its Strategic Unit, Fuad Shukr,” the military announced in a statement. (Read

2. Hamas threatens Israeli minister with hostage torture video - Israel Hayom
According to reporting by The Telegraph, Hamas has produced a video showing the torture of Israeli hostages in an attempt to pressure Israel into improving conditions for Palestinian prisoners. The video directly addresses Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's national security minister responsible for prison policy.
Two Israeli officials informed The Telegraphthat the video depicts hostages being tortured while Hamas warns that stricter conditions for Palestinian prisoners in Israel are impacting the well-being of captives in Gaza. As of now, the IDF and the Shin Bet claim that as far as they know, no such videos were shown to Ben-Gvir.
Since taking office in December 2022, the minister has prioritized worsening conditions for Palestinian prisoners detained for involvement in terror activities, leading to conflicts with the Shin Bet intelligence agency, which feared such actions could spark another violent confrontation with Hamas.
In August 2022, Ben-Gvir stated, "The prisons had begun reducing as much as possible the indulgences for Hamas terrorists and stopping 'summer camp' that was going on in the prison wings in the past." He also ordered restrictions on inmates making their own pita bread and limited hot showers in one prison. (Read more)

4. Britain set to impose arms export embargo on Israel - JNS
Israeli sources indicate that Britain’s Labour government is poised to impose an arms export ban on Israel.
This move is viewed as a direct extension of the new British government’s decision to withdraw its objection to arrest warrants for the Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
It’s also seen as a direct result of the International Court of Justice‘s July 19 non-binding ruling declaring Israeli “occupation” of Judea and Samaria to be “unlawful.”
Consequently, both the withdrawal of objections to the arrest warrants and the impending arms embargo are considered legal decisions stemming from the ICJ’s ruling. (Read more)

5. I Feel at Home Here’: In the Shadow of War, Moroccan Muslims Visit Israel to Promote Peace - Algemeiner
Ayoub Koulli knew about Morocco’s ancient and dwindling Jewish community through his father, who would speak about his many Jewish friends in Casablanca. But Koulli’s father passed away, taking his stories with him. Eager to learn more about the history of the Jews, Koulli began a pilgrimage which would take him to the Nazi death camp of Auschwitz and eventually to Jerusalem, where he arrived this month with a group of 23 other young Moroccans.
“I feel really emotional being here,” Koulli told The Algemeiner.
The group, called Sharaka, was established in the wake of the Abraham Accords — which Morocco signed — to promote “person-to-person” diplomacy between Israel and Arab countries. During the week-long visit, delegates visited Yad Vashem, the Jewish state’s national memorial to the Holocaust, and other key sites around Israel, including Al Aqsa Mosque. The group also held several meetings with high-tech leaders and Israeli officials, including Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, and former National Security Council adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat who addressed the group in Moroccan Arabic. 1. Newly-released video footage shows officers surrounding building before gunman opened fire at Trump rally - DML News
Chilling new video footage was just released over the weekend involving the shooting at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
The video shows that law enforcement already had the building surrounded where the gunman, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was up on the roof, for several minutes prior to when he opened fire on former President Donald Trump.
Miraculously, Crooks only shot Trump in the ear, but he also shot and killed one rally attendee in the bleachers behind Trump, and critically injured two others. In the newly-released video footage, filmed by Dave Stewart, 35, of Butler, police officers are seen walking around the AGR International building warehouse.
Stewart and others nearby are told they were trespassing and asked to leave the area near the building. He and others are heard commenting that something is going on in that building, as they speculate why police are walking around it. Trump is heard speaking from the stage over the loudspeakers. People are seen walking past the building, toward the rally. A woman rides by on a horse, while carrying a large Trump flag. All while police are seen walking around the building. (Read more)

2. Iran trying to sabotage Trump’s presidential campaign - DML News
U.S. intelligence officials believe Iran is attempting to undermine former President Trump’s presidential campaign through online influence operations, according to a Monday press briefing. An official from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) stated that U.S. spy agencies have observed Tehran’s efforts to influence the presidential election, likely to avoid heightened tensions with the U.S.
The official noted that American intelligence has not observed any change in Iran’s preferences since 2020, indicating a continued targeting of Trump. Iran is reportedly using extensive online personas and propaganda mills to spread disinformation. The Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations has denied any election interference.
In a separate incident, Tehran was accused of plotting to kill Trump following the assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. Iran’s UN mission labeled these claims as “unsubstantiated and malicious.” (Read more)

3. Google Faces Backlash For Apparent Censorship Of Trump Assassination Attempt From ‘Autocomplete’ Feature - The Daily Caller
Google faced backlash Sunday for the apparent censorship of the assassination attempt against 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump from the search engine’s “autocomplete” feature.
Typing the phrase “assassination attempt on Tru…” into Google’s search engine does not automatically recommend the relevant phrase “assassination attempt on Trump,” instead ranking “assassination attempt on Truman” as the highest result, video posted on X by Libs Of TikTok shows.
Other results below the search conducted by Libs Of TikTok included “… Trump’s case,” “… Trump’s administration” and “How many presidents have had assassination attempts.”
“Google needs to be hauled in front of Congress to answer for this,” Libs Of TikTok wrote. “Orwellian.” (Read more)

4. Former astronaut Sen. Mark Kelly started spy balloon company funded by China - Fox News
Before becoming a senator, Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., was not only an astronaut, but he also co-founded a company that specializes in spy balloons, which was funded, in part, by a venture capitalist in China with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
Kelly, who is reportedly on a short list of running mate contenders under consideration by Vice President Kamala Harris, co-founded Tucson, Arizona-based World View in 2012 with a vision to provide space tourism using stratospheric balloons. While Kelly’s company started out with a focus on space tourism via balloons, the vision evolved with the maturing of the company’s technology.
Axios reported that shortly after World View was started, it received venture capital from Tencent in 2013, then again in 2016. Tencent is one of China's largest corporations, and it was founded in 1998 by "Pony" Ma Huateng, Zhang Zhidong, Xu Chenye, Chen Yidan and Zeng Liqing. Last year, "Pony" Ma Huateng was listed by Forbes as the fourth-richest man in China with a net worth of $32.1 billion. Ma is also the CEO of Tencent. (Read more)

- Mighty God, it is baffling why someone who is considered an American hero would create someone powerful and sell it out to our avowed adversary, China. We pray for this man and all others like him, such as Kamala Harris' husband's law firm, to have dreams and vision revealing to them the folly and error of their greed and leading them to repentance, in Jesus name. We pray for a hedge of protection over our nation because we know that China is working deviously at every angle to wedge their way into our system, not to participate, but to tear down and replace it with communism. We renounce all alliances with communism in this nation, in Jesus name and we call forth every fiber of our Godly heritage to be redeemed and bear fruit, for the glory of God in this land, in Jesus name.
- "Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance." (Psalm 94:12-14)

5. Maduro is declared winner in Venezuela’s presidential election as opposition claims it prevailed - Associated Press
Venezuela’s opposition claimed victory in Sunday’s presidential election, setting up a showdown with the government, which earlier declared President Nicolás Maduro the winner.“The Venezuelans and the entire world know what happened,” opposition candidate Edmundo González said in his first remarks.
Opposition leader Maria Corina Machado said the margin of González’s victory was “overwhelming” based on voting tallies it had received from campaign representatives from about 40% of ballot boxes nationwide. The National Electoral Council, which is controlled by Maduro loyalists, earlier said Maduro had secured 51% of the vote to 44% for González.
But it didn’t release the tallies from each of the 30,000 polling booths nationwide, promising only to do so in the “coming hours,” hampering the ability to verify the results.Foreign leaders held off recognizing the results. “The Maduro regime should understand that the results it published are difficult to believe,” said Gabriel Boric, the leftist leader of Chile. “We won’t recognize any result that is not verifiable.” (Read more)

6. Wildfires break out across California: Latest fire and smoke maps - ABC News
Wildfires are exploding across the West, especially in California, where the Park Fire has grown to be the biggest in the state this year.
The largest of several wildfires in the state is the Park Fire, burning in Butte, Tehama, Shasta and Plumas counties, north of Chico. As of Sunday night, the fire had grown to 360,141 acres acres and was 12% contained.
At least 134 structures, including homes, have been destroyed by the blaze, now the seventh largest fire recorded in California history in only a few days.
"You know, we felt it and all the people through here," Chico-area rancher John Russell told ABC News on Saturday as he looked out at the burnt landscape surrounding the 200-acre property, pointing to the fire line that firefighters cut with a bulldozer to save his barn and cattle. (Read more)

- God of Creation, we beseech You to send rain upon all of these fires and quench them, in the Mighty name of Jesus. The evil that is being released in every fire is cruel and heartless. From Idaho to Washington, Oregon to California, people are losing homes, pets, livestock, land in a moment and so many lives are endangered; Jesus, we call to You the One who controls the heavens and ask You to cause these fires to cease and desist in the name of Jesus. Turn them back on themselves; send firefighting angels, protect the firefighters and defend the vulnerable, for Your glory.
- "For I know that the Lord is great, And our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the Lord pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places, He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; . . . " (Psalm 135:5-7a)

Prophet End Times Advancing
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 30, 2024
The Iran-sponsored terrorist organization Hezbollah fired rockets into a soccer field in Israel on July 27, killing 12—mostly children—and injuring dozens of others. Let’s repeat that—killing 12, mostly CHILDREN. The official Israeli government statement read: “Hezbollah murdered 11 Israeli children from northern Israel who were playing soccer. There are no words.” No words…Where is the United Nations, who so readily issues statements about the war crimes of Israel when it defends itself against these terrorists? Where is the outcry of politicians who cry alligator tears over the Israel’s killing of Hamas terrorists hiding in United Nation’s schools, hospitals and in tunnels under children’s bedrooms in Gaza? No words.
The terrorists routinely use women and children as shields. Then they launch massive media campaigns using their propaganda arms and the corporate leftist media to decry Israeli atrocities—false claims to engender sympathy for the terrorists. And when a terrorist organization purposely launches missiles at a kid’s soccer game, hardly a mention. The double standard is incredible. Wait and see how Hezbollah and Hamas will twist this attack around with the help of the news media when Israel responds. The difference is that Israel seeks to destroy the terrorists, who are hiding behind women and children at schools, hospitals, playgrounds, and in tunnels underneath the bedrooms of children. There is no moral equivalency. Read More

Don’t Miss Out On The Blessing Of Watching Bible Prophecy Come To Fruition
|
|
Living in the last days has its challenges, to be sure. We see wickedness, lawlessness, and deception increasing at an exponential clip. As violence erupts all around us, I pray daily for the safety of our children and their spouses, as well as for all our grandchildren.
On the other hand, we live at a time like no other. I recently read Matthew chapters 12 and 13, and as I did, a couple of verses reminded me of the wonder of being alive at such a time as this: “But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”
The above verses, addressed to His disciples, were part of Jesus’ explanation for starting to teach with parables. His words came after the Pharisees blasphemed the Holy Spirit by attributing the power behind His miracles to the devil. They, unlike those close to Him, failed to experience the blessing of recognizing the significance of the day in which they lived. Many in previous generations had longed to be alive at the time their Messiah walked among them.
The Savior’s words apply to us today. Just as those in first century AD Israel witnessed the fulfillment of many prophecies relating to Jesus’ first appearing, today we watch the unfolding of a great many prophetic events signaling Jesus’ imminent return for His church, the start of the Tribulation, and the Second Coming.
Our Expectation
As believers, we have a valid expectation of being alive at the time of the Rapture. As events point to the rapid approach of the Tribulation, we know that the time of meeting Jesus in the air is ever so close. When Paul penned the letters to Thessalonians, he expressed the hope, the possibility, that he might take part in this momentous event before his death. Notice his words in 1 Thessalonians 4:17: “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (emphasis added). Incredible Discovery Made Following the First Baptist Dallas Fire
|
|
Beauty was discovered in the midst of ashes at First Baptist Dallas. Last Friday evening, the historic First Baptist Dallas church had a shocking four-alarm fire engulf its historic chapel, which was originally built in 1890. However, all hope has not been lost. O.S. Hawkins shared an incredible discovery following the fire’s fury. “So indescribably grateful for this miracle. In the midst of the total destruction of the church in the fire, this 130-year-old pulpit of Truett and Criswell and the others of us somehow, someway miraculously survived. Thank you Lord,” Hawkins wrote on X.
As Crosswalk reported, Dr. Robert Jeffress, First Baptist Dallas’ senior pastor, shared Hawkins’ post where he also wrote: “A true miracle—especially if you saw the flames engulfing the place this pulpit was displayed.” Posting a video on Facebook, Dr. Ben Lovvorn gave a one-week update on the building following the fire. “It’s been one week since that four-alarm fire destroyed our historic sanctuary,” Lovvorn said. “But God has been good through this week. He’s answered so many prayers, and we’ve made incredible progress.” Lovvorn said that for the safety of all, the church would meet again at the convention center in Dallas. Right now, beams and scaffolding are being added to the historic sanctuary. (Charisma News) Read More and Watch Interview Here

Shall We Gather At the River?
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words and Music: Robert Lowry
Scripture: A pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1–2
Lyrics:
Shall we gather at the river,
Where bright angel feet have trod,
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?
Refrain
Yes, we’ll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
On the margin of the river,
Washing up its silver spray,
We will talk and worship ever,
All the happy golden day.
Refrain
Ere we reach the shining river,
Lay we every burden down;
Grace our spirits will deliver,
And provide a robe and crown.
Refrain
At the smiling of the river,
Mirror of the Savior’s face,
Saints, whom death will never sever,
Lift their songs of saving grace.
Refrain
Soon we’ll reach the silver river,
Soon our pilgrimage will cease;
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.
Refrain
