A little over a year from now, Americans will have the opportunity to choose not only their next president, but their national destiny. It’s that serious.
As things currently stand, their choice will be between two men: One has already proven, as president, that he has contempt for America and her people and fully intends to dismantle the greatest nation in history. So, into this boiling cauldron of revolutionary, elitist, globalist, criminal and demonic forces dared to step billionaire businessman and television celebrity Donald J. Trump.
On June 16, 2015, following his famous ride down the Trump Tower escalator with wife Melania at his side, Trump announced he was entering the race for the presidency. From that day until now, eight years later, Trump has been public enemy number one of “the ruling class,” “the elites,” the “Deep State,” or as many call it, the Washington, D.C. “Swamp,” which Trump promised to “drain.”

'Tyranny of the Bureacracy': Ted Cruz takes aim at Supreme Court doctrine undermining Constitution
'Chevron deference' ideology at issue in pending case
Sen. Ted Cruz took aim Thursday at a Supreme Court precedent that empowers the administrative state at the expense of the people’s will and the Framers’ vision in the Constitution.
This Supreme Court doctrine has “played an enormous role in the expansion of the administrative state,” Cruz, a Texas Republican, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Thursday. “It has resulted in the American people being subject to the tyranny of the bureaucracy, over which they have very little control or ability to demand accountability.”
Cruz referred to “Chevron deference,” the doctrine that whenever a law is ambiguous, a federal agency has the authority to interpret the scope and content of that ambiguity to achieve its ends, so long as the interpretation is “reasonable.” The doctrine dates back to the 1984 case Chevron v. National Resources Defense Council. Cruz led a group of 35 senators and representatives in supporting fishermen challenging a federal regulation in the upcoming Supreme Court case Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo—a case in which the court will reconsider Chevron deference.
Under this doctrine, “the courts give an extraordinary amount of deference to agency interpretations of law, even when those agency interpretations are not mandated by the statute that Congress passed and the president signed,” Cruz explained.
The senator argued that Chevron deference insulates bureaucrats who make the rules and regulations Americans must live by — creating a perverse protection for people who make life worse for everyday citizens.
“Far too many of the bureaucrats, quite frankly, don’t give a damn about what the voters think,” Cruz said. “One of the reasons why you see so many policies that destroy jobs, that hurt people across the country coming from the unelected bureaucracy is precisely because elected officials don’t have to pay the price for those decisions.” (Read more)

Israel tells International Criminal Court it lacks authority to debate conflict, says talks are only solution
Israel this week submitted a formal opinion to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, stating that it has no authority to conduct its probe into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to a Thursday report.
Jerusalem said that the court was not the place to adjudicate the conflict, and that instead direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority were needed, the unsourced Kan news report said.
The National Security Council said in response to the Kan report that it along with the Foreign Ministry were working to convince friendly countries to submit opinions to the ICJ to back Israel’s stance. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

1. Lapid demands year and a half legislation freeze | Likud: 'No prerequisites' - Israel National News
The Likud responded on Sunday to opposition leader Yair Lapid's speech, during which he demanded a two-and-a-half-year judicial reform legislation freeze.
"Yair Lapid is willing to speak with (PA Chairman) Mahmoud Abbas without prerequisites, but with the Likud, he does establish prerequisites for a meeting. We invite Lapid to enter negotiations today so we can all reach a broad consensus," the Likud stated.
Earlier Sunday, the former Prime Minister and current opposition leader announced in the Knesset that there would not be negotiations between the opposition and the coalition until a year-and-a-half judicial reform legislation freeze is anchored in the legislation.
"The only possible solution, and the only thing that would allow the return to dialogue, is a legislation freeze. The government and the opposition together have to pass an 18-month freeze, during which discussions would be held at the President's residence," he stated. (Read more)
2. Netanyahu announces $27bn railway plan that will ‘link Israel to Saudi Arabia’ - World Israel News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday announced a NIS 100 billion ($27 billion) plan to link the northern city of Kiryat Shmona to the southern city of Eilat by a high-speed rail that would eventually link to Saudi Arabia.
“My vision is for every Israeli citizen to be able to travel to or from the center from anywhere in the country in less than two hours,” said Netanyahu. “In most cases under an hour, and even less than that.”
The rail line “will also be able to link Israel by train to Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula, we’re working on that too.”
According to the Israeli leader, the periphery has “disappeared.”
3. Netanyahu meets security chiefs amid ongoing Hezbollah provocations on border - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security assessment Sunday with Israel’s top defense brass to discuss courses of action proposed by the military, his office said, as tensions with Hezbollah rise on Israel’s border with Lebanon.
The meeting included Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and the heads of the military, Mossad and Shin Bet, along with numerous other top security officials.
“The prime minister accepted the recommendations and courses of action proposed by the IDF and the defense establishment,” Prime Minister’s Office said, without elaborating on what was discussed at the meeting.
Channel 12 news reported that media outlets reported that defense officials presented Netanyahu with an intelligence overview and situation assessments. The network said Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah is likely to seek provocations along the border, sensing that Israel, facing an ongoing internal crisis, will avoid a severe response. (Read more)
4. Israel Exposes Iranian Malware/Phishing Campaign - Jewish Press
Israel exposed an Iranian “phishing” campaign aimed ay gathering information about Israeli policies and citizens, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced on Sunday.
The Shin Bet said the Iranian campaign primarily targeted Israeli civil servants and researchers at various research institutes and had been going on for several months.
References to citizens were made using fake profiles impersonating known Israeli citizens who would-be victims had been in contact with for professional or personal reasons. The Iranians would make initial contact through a phony LinkedIn profile, then later shift the conversation to email. (Read more)
5. Nasrallah Warns Israeli Leaders Against Attacking Lebanon and Hezbollah - Algemeiner
i24 News – Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Saturday warned Israeli leaders to “beware of any foolishness” in attacking Lebanon or the Iranian-backed group, which he said “will be ready, without hesitation, to confront any mistake or foolishness.”
In a televised speech commemorating the Ashura, a holy day of mourning observed primarily by Shia Muslims, Nasrallah said that “Lebanon is being attacked” on its southern border.
“The enemy is still occupying part of our land… and brazenly talks about the provocations of the resistance on the borders,” he claimed.
These statements come as tensions have been building up on Israel-Lebanon border. Earlier this week, armed Hezbollah operatives in full gear and uniforms conducted a patrol on the Israel-Lebanon border, near Moshav Dovev in the Upper Galilee. 2. Hawley: DOJ Handling of Trump Docs Case a ‘Subversion of the Rule of Law’ - Breitbart
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), during an appearance on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” criticized the Department of Justice’s pursuit of former President Donald Trump for his alleged possession of classified documents.
According to the Missouri Republican lawmaker, the approach was a “subversion of the rule of law.”

3. 10K Migrants Apprehended in One Week in Arizona Border Sector - breitbart.com
The surge of migrant apprehensions in the Arizona desert continues as Tucson Sector agents arrested 10,000 migrants during the past week. During that period, agents also carried out 430 migrant rescues and interdicted 21 human smuggling attempts.
Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin tweeted a report indicating that agents in his sector apprehended approximately 10,000 migrants during the past week. This is up from 9,000 the week before.
Modlin also reported the rescue of 430 migrants who became endangered in the relentless summer heat of the Arizona desert. In addition, the agents interdicted 21 human smuggling attempts and made 11 narcotics seizures.
In one of these rescues, agents saved the life of a 45-year-old Guatemalan female migrant who crossed the border in the Baboquivari Mountains on July 21, Modlin tweeted.
The chief reported that the woman became severely dehydrated and suffered a leg injury. Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) agents litter-carried the woman down the rigorous terrain of the mountain range to an awaiting Arizona DPS helicopter. The aircrew transported the injured woman to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment. (Read more)

4. Planned Parenthood Billboards to Advertise Out-of-State Abortions to Idahoans - Breitbart
Abortion giant Planned Parenthood has paid for the advertising space for six billboard locations throughout the Treasure Valley in Idaho to direct pregnant women to out-of-state abortions, KTVB7 reported this week.
Planned Parenthood Great Northwest Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK) CEO Rebecca Gibron told the local news outlet that the billboards are in response to pro-life laws in Idaho and for women who are unsure if it is legal to leave the state to get an abortion.
“We’ve created this information campaign to let Idahoans know where they can access safe and legal abortion outside of the state of Idaho,” Gibron said. “We intend to have these up for a good deal of time, to help bring awareness for Idahoans who need access to abortion care, to bring awareness to where they can receive that care out of the state of Idaho.”
Abortion is limited in the state except for cases of rape with a police report, incest, or to save the life of the mother. Abortionists who perform an abortion in the state could be liable for a minimum of $20,000 in civil court per harmed party, along with two years in prison.
(Recently) the legislature passed an abortion trafficking bill, which prevents minors from obtaining abortions in other states without parental consent. (Read more here)

5. Congress finds little compromise on parents' rights on procedures known as 'gender affirming care' - Just the News
The partisan chasm was on full display at a House hearing in which experts and "detransitioner" Chloe Cole testified.
Congressional Democrats on Thursday repeatedly denounced what they consider government interference in parent-child relationships for children distraught by their sex.
They balked at the possibility of federal legislation that would protect parents' rights to decide whether their children receive puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgical removals of healthy breasts and genitals.
They staked their positions in a House Judiciary Constitution subcommittee hearing on such medical interventions – known as "gender affirming care."
The contentious hearing was also marked by Democrats and Republican accusing each other of undermining parents through either red-state restrictions on such interventions or blue-state restrictions on parental consent and notification when children express a gender identity at odds with their sex. 6. U.S. Pledges to Help Australia Manufacture Guided Missiles by 2025 - Breitbart
CANBERRA, Australia (AP) – The United States will expand its military industrial base by helping Australia manufacture guided missiles and rockets for both countries within two years, the allies announced on Saturday as they ramped up defense cooperation to counter China’s growing influence in the Indo-Pacific.
The new cooperation on guided weapon production follows a trilateral partnership announcement in March that will see Britain provide Australia with a fleet of eight submarines powered by U.S. nuclear technology.
The greater integration of U.S. and Australian militaries was announced after annual talks between U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken and their Australian counterparts, Defense Minister Richard Marles and Foreign Minister Penny Wong.
They agreed to cooperate on Australia producing Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems by 2025, a communique said. (Read more)

7. Typhoon Doksuri roars into China, destroys power lines, uproots trees - Reuters
BEIJING/TAIPEI, July 28 (Reuters) - Typhoon Doksuri swept into southern China on Friday, unleashing heavy rain and violent gusts of wind that whipped power lines and sparked fires, uprooted trees, and ripped off part of a stadium roof. The typhoon is the most powerful to make landfall in China this year and second-strongest to hit southeastern Fujian province since Typhoon Meranti in 2016, forcing the closure of schools, businesses and the evacuation of workers from offshore oil and gas fields, state media said.
Doksuri has affected more than 724,600 people, with 124,400 people evacuated and resettled, and caused direct economic losses of 52.27 million yuan ($7.30 million), media reported. In the Fujian port city of Quanzhou, 39 people were reported to have suffered minor injuries, and more than 500,000 homes lost power.
The retractable roof of a stadium in downtown Quanzhou was ripped apart as wind lashed its huge dome, sending glass and metal flying.
Doksuri's massive rain bands are expected to arc as far north as Beijing on Sunday or Monday. (Read more here)

8. McConnell plans to serve out term as GOP leader after freeze-up - AXIOS
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will serve out his full term leading Senate Republicans, his office said in a statement on Friday.
After being escorted back to his office by his GOP leadership deputies, he later returned and told reporters he was "fine" before taking questions.
A spokesperson said at the time he "felt lightheaded and stepped away for a moment," noting that "everyone observed [his Q&A] as sharp."

2 meteor showers to team up for an
astronomical doubleheader
Fireballs could light up the night as shooting stars streak through the sky this weekend in an event that will act as a warmup for stargazers ahead of an even more impressive light show in mid-August.
A flurry of meteors will soon dash across the heavens, a celestial light show that will be followed up by an even more impressive astronomical event in the coming weeks.
The Southern Delta Aquarids and Alpha Capricornids will peak simultaneously centered around the night of Sunday, July 30, into the early morning of Monday, July 31. However, it will not be a one-night-only event.
Both meteor showers have plateaulike peaks that last for about a week centered around the night of July 30, according to the American Meteor Society (AMS), meaning any night at the end of July or the start of August will offer views of shooting stars. This is much different than many other meteor showers that peak over the course of just one or two nights.
The two long-running meteor showers will combine for 15 to 20 meteors per hour, including the chance to spot a few incredibly bright meteors known as fireballs. Read More
