Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up
    and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
“Let us break their chains
    and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
“I have installed my king
    on Zion, my holy mountain.”

TODAY'S TOP STORY

Stupidocrisy: The Violent Coup Narrative

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 5, 2022

As the Democrats prepare to recount their revised version of the January 6 protests at the Capitol, corporate media are embellishing the narrative that the protests were a violent, deadly attempted coup that threatened democracy. An account by Reuters announcing Joe Biden’s “truth” speech about what happened that day, said “Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will speak Thursday morning at the U.S. Capitol, one year after thousands of Trump supporters raided the complex in a failed attempt to stop the counting of Electoral College votes by lawmakers that officially delivered the Democratic president’s election victory.” Most stories that day estimated the “raiders” at no more than 800. My how history changes.

You will hear descriptions using words of “insurrection,” “bloody coup,” and “violent overthrow.” These may be just projections by the media and the Democratic Party politicians of what they would like to do to the US government. Certainly, the policies they support undeniably suggest a total remaking of this remarkable Republic into a socialist state.  I took a lot of heat for it at the time when I wrote on January 7, 2020: “because of the way things went down on Capitol Hill, conservatives and Christians will be paying that price of association for years to come, guilty or not.” And that is how the media and the democrats are positioning January 6. But these people have no idea what a real coup, a real insurrection looks like. Take it from my ministry partner, Pastor William Agbeti, who has lived through seven coups in Ghana.

He writes, “Three key characteristics surrounding these coups were: 1) Clear intentions to topple ruling governments and unseat incumbent Presidents through most times bloody uprising; 2) Engagement of Mass Media machinery to announce the coups, suspend the constitution, ban ruling parties and governments and direct government leaders to report themselves to the nearest police stations in their own best interests; and 3) Bringing to a halt all government and to a large extent private business operations. Given these backdrops to coups in Ghana, and thinking within this context, I find it difficult to appreciate how the January 6, 2021 incident involving a group of people storming the US Capitol could be described as “insurrection.”

Agbeti says, “When all the above Ghanaian precedents and the legal US parameters are disengaged from the January 6, 2021 “insurrection,” then the likelihood that some vested interests are trying to give a dog a bad name, so to speak, is easy to believe! I think we should all see the January 6, 2021 incident as purely a public challenge to, or demonstration against, perceived wrongful election results. Period. I wish many were in my shoes, to understand that it is in everybody’s best interests, as a people and a nation, to stop fanning the flames erupting from January 6, 2021. Proverbs 14:12 says: “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Let’s all wisely and prayerfully avoid this end. Don’t glorify or crucify January 6. Let sleeping dogs lie!” Good advice from the survivor of real coups, not embellished nonsense.  Such demagoguery from the media and politicians is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

- Father, we ask You to release the Mighty heavenly wheel of justice upon this January 6th drama and upon those wrongfully held imprisoned for the last year without due process of law.  We, Your sons and daughters, cry out to You day and night to see You stand up in honor of our covenants and re-establish Your reign in our nation and on the earth.  We lift You up over this land so that all people would be drawn to You in righteousness, justice and truth.

- "'And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?'"  (Luke 18:7)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. PM Bennett confronts Opposition MKs during stormy Knesset vote - Israel National News

Opposition lawmakers on Wednesday protested Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s decision to vote against including Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria in a coalition bill offering electricity, water, and other infrastructure hookups to unauthorized buildings.

During a stormy Knesset session Wednesday morning, Bennett voted against a bid to include fledgling Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria in the ‘Electricity Law’ – a law drafted by United Arab List MK Waleed Taha.

The bill, aimed at providing de facto recognition to thousands of illegally built Arab homes in the Negev and the Galilee, was passed by the Knesset in its final reading Wednesday 61 – 0. (Read More)

2. Google acquires Israeli cybersecurity company in $500 million deal - World Israel News

Google’s parent company Alphabet announced Tuesday that it acquired Israeli cybersecurity company Siemplify, with insiders telling Israel Hayom that the tech industry titan had paid some $500 million in cash for the buy.

The deal marked the first time that Google has obtained an Israeli cybersecurity company, and comes on the heels of a pledge by the company to President Joe Biden to invest at least $10 billion in cybersecurity over the next five years.

In a statement, Google said that Siemplify’s solution would be integrated into its current cloud offerings.

Founded in 2015, Siemplify has already raised some $58 million in various funding rounds, and provides built-in security solutions specifically focused for cloud servers and cloud-based companies. (Read More)

3. Defense Minister Gantz meets with King Abdullah of Jordan - Israel National News

Israel's Minister of Defense Benny Gantz visited Amman in Jordan Wednesday for a meeting hosted by His Majesty, King Abdullah II.

In his discussion with the King, Minister Gantz highlighted the strategic importance of strong and enduring relations between Israel and Jordan, which contribute to the security and prosperity of both nations.

The dialogue focused on security and policy topics. Minister Gantz thanked His Majesty for his leadership and for the Kingdom’s critical role in maintaining regional peace and stability. He also welcomed the expansion of relations between Jordan and the current Israeli government, and expressed his commitment to further developing security, economic and civilian exchanges. (Read More)

4. Lapid feuds on Twitter with Iran FM who said Israel ‘has no place in world’s future’ - Times of Israel

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid clashed on Twitter with his Iranian counterpart on Tuesday, after Tehran’s top diplomat threatened that “Zionism has no place in the future of the world.”

The exchange came amid talks between world powers and Iran on restoring the 2015 accord curbing Tehran’s nuclear program.

The trigger was an interview aired Fridayto mark 10 years since Lapid entered politics. When asked by Channel 12 news if Israel has the ability to strike uranium enrichment facilities or weapons sites in Iran, he said: “Israel has capabilities, some of which the world, and even some experts in the field, cannot even imagine. And Israel will protect itself against the Iranian threat.” (Read More)

5. Netherlands ends funding to one of 6 Palestinian groups blacklisted by Israel - Times of Israel

After a year-long review, the Dutch government formally cut ties on Wednesday with one of six Palestinian civil society organizations that Israel controversially declared to be a terror group in late 2021.

The Netherlands will no longer fund the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, or transfer the organization the last tranche of an already budgeted Dutch grant, two Dutch ministers wrote in a joint letter.

Israel last October declared the UAWC and five other nonprofits to be terror groups for their alleged ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The declaration sparked international condemnation; Israel doubled down, insisting that the evidence supporting the classification was “ironclad.” (Read More)

1. Republicans will release their OWN Capitol riot report 'discrediting' the January 6 committee, - The Daily Mail

House Republicans are reportedly working on their own report detailing security failures on January 6 as the Democrat-led Capitol riot committee's investigation heats up, a Monday evening report alleged.

It's being prepared by Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, who House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected from the House committee, according to Axios.
Sources quoted in the report said Banks will also send around a memo discrediting Pelosi's January 6 panel as 'illegitimate.'
He's expected to share details of the report in a House GOP conference call Tuesday after an investigation that's being co-run by other lawmakers Minority Leader McCarthy nominated for the committee but Pelosi shot down.

The report doesn't name who they are, but in July McCarthy pulled all five of his picks -- Reps. Banks, Rodney Davis of Illinois, Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Troy Nehls of Texas -- after Pelosi rejected Banks and Jordan. (Read more)

2. Republicans say Capitol Police in ‘worse position’ than on Jan. 6, alleging Pelosi failure and secrecy - Washington Examiner

Republicans are countering Democrats’ focus on commemorating the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol by pointing to security risks and alleging negligence by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Illinois Republican Rep. Rodney Davis, ranking member on the Committee on House Administration, sent a memo to colleagues on Monday that asserted the Capitol is less prepared for an attack than it was a year ago. Most of the security recommendations from a task force that Pelosi commissioned after Jan. 6, as well as most of those from a Capitol Police inspector general, have not been implemented, it said.

“Frankly, our police officers, I believe, are actually in a worse position today than they were on January 6, and it's directly because of the inaction of Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats,” Davis said on a press call on Monday, saying Pelosi is more interested in the “political” select committee formed to investigate the Jan. 6 attack than in implementing changes.  (Read more)

- We plead the blood of Jesus over the capital building and capital police that any harm, evil, or scheme of the enemy will be blocked and cast down in Jesus name. Lord God we pray you send your angels to guard and protect the building today, aiding and assisting those who will try to expose the lies told around the events of Jan 6th last year. In Jesus' name, Amen.

3. Federal judge blocks DOD from punishing Navy SEALs for seeking religious exemptions to vaccine mandateWashington Examiner

A federal judge barred the Department of Defense from punishing a group of Navy SEALs for refusing to get vaccinated on religious grounds.

District Judge Reed O'Connor granted a preliminary injunction on Monday in response to a lawsuit filed for 35 unnamed Navy SEALs who had sued the Biden administration in November, alleging they had received several disciplinary measures for seeking a religious exemption.

“The Navy service members, in this case, seek to vindicate the very freedoms they have sacrificed so much to protect," O'Connor wrote in a filing on Monday. "The COVID-19 pandemic provides the government no license to abrogate those freedoms. There is no COVID-19 exception to the First Amendment. There is no military exclusion from our Constitution."  (Read more)

4. Longtime Illinois Rep. Bobby Rush joins ranks of retiring House Democrats - Washington Examiner

Illinois Rep. Bobby Rush is not seeking another term in the House, joining the growing ranks of House Democrats who will not return to the chamber.

Rush will be the 16th House Democrat to retire at the end of his term while additional members will leave to seek another office. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle will leave the House to retire or seek another office, but Democrats are doing so in slightly larger numbers ahead of an election cycle projected to favor Republicans.

Some Democrats have expressed concern that a growing number of departures is an additional burden on their efforts to maintain their majority after November's midterm elections.  (Read more)

5. Macron on unvaccinated people: "I really want to piss them off" - Axios

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday that he wants to “piss off” unvaccinated people as part of his strategy to fight COVID-19.

Speaking to Le Parisien, a French newspaper, Macron said policies that ban unvaccinated people from cafes and theaters and otherwise limit their social activities are intended to be frustrating, adding: "I really want to piss them off. And so we will continue to do so, to the bitter end. That's the strategy."

Macron said he won't jail unvaccinated people or "forcibly" vaccinate them, so COVID passports are the best path forward.  (Read more)

- Lord God, the strife and divisiveness coming from world leaders is both shocking and disturbing. 6. Joe Biden Says ThereReason to Be Hopeful in 2020...in 2022 - Townhall

If it’s a day that ends in "y," it's almost guaranteed to be a day that President Biden makes a gaffe during public remarks. Sure enough, the new year has not brought any relief to Biden as he apparently forgot what year it is during an event with members of the White House COVID-19 Response Team focused on the Omicron variant.

Nothing inspires confidence from the president who promised he would "shut down the virus" as the United States sets a global record of more than one million new Wuhan coronavirus cases like Biden —at least momentarily — thinking he's living two years in the past.

If he had said "2021," that would be a bit more understandable as we're just four days into the new year. But it hasn't been 2020 for a few hundred days.  (Read more)

- Lord God, we truly pray for Biden and for his health. We pray, Lord, that his heart of stone would become a heart of flesh that he would turn around, fall on his knees, and repent to you to turn from his wicked ways. We cancel every lie spoken out of his mouth and from his administration that it is canceled, null, and void in the name of Jesus, amen.

- “An evildoer listens to wicked lips, and a liar gives ear to a mischievous tongue.”
(Proverbs 17:4)

7. John MacArthur urges pastors to preach on sexual morality to protest conversion therapy ban - Christian Post

Pastor and theologian John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles is calling on pastors to preach about the “biblical view of sexual morality” on Jan. 16 in opposition to a Canadian law banning therapy for unwanted sexual attractions and gender confusion — what is often derisively referred to as conversion therapy — set to take effect next month.

MacArthur, known for his syndicated broadcast program “Grace to You,” published an open letter on the Grace Community Church website Tuesday calling on “ministers of the Gospel” to join him on the third Sunday of the new year in preaching about “a biblical view of sexual morality.”

MacArthur stated that he received a letter from Pastor James Coates of Grace Life Church in Edmonton, Alberta, a graduate of the MacArthur-led The Master’s Seminary who made headlines when he was imprisoned for hosting in-person services in defiance of government lockdown orders. Coates alleged that Bill C-4, which passed by the Canadian House and Senate earlier this month, “directly comes against parents and counselors who would seek to offer biblical counsel with respect to sexual immorality and gender.”  (Read more)

- We pray Lord that our brothers and sisters in Canada will stand firm in your Spirit and in your absolute truth that was established from the foundations of the world. We pray that their faithfulness through this test will be a powerful witness of our eternal hope of heaven in Christ, and convict unbelievers, offering them a chance to repent. And we pray Lord that the church in America will follow their example. Amen.

- “...firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by [their] opponents.” (Philippians 1:27-28)

8. Abortion Was the Leading Cause of Death Worldwide in 2021, Killing 42.6 Million People - Life News

More human beings died in abortions than any other cause of death in 2021. A heartbreaking reminder about the prevalence of abortion, statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were over 42.6 million abortions world-wide in 2021. The independent site collects data from governments and other reputable organizations and then reports the data, along with estimates and projections, based on those numbers. It reveals 42,640,209 people died from abortions in 2021.

When contrasting the abortion numbers to other causes of death, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, traffic accidents and suicide, abortions far outnumbered every other cause. By contrast, 8.7 million people died from cancer in 2020, 5 million from smoking, 13 million from disease, and 1.7 million died of HIV/AIDS. Deaths by malaria and alcohol are also recorded.

With 58.7 million people dying last year from a cause other than abortion, that means abortions accounted for 42% of every death around the world last year.  (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray for the justices as they consider and write their decision on Dobbs v. Jackson, which was heard in December. - “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.” (Ephesians 5:1)

9. Chicago Teachers Union crushed for refusing to resume in-person learning: 'They should all be fired' - Fox News

The Chicago Teachers Union, the third-largest school district in the nation, defied the city's order for school children to return to in-person learning this week, earning them a new round of bipartisan scorn from those who argue remote learning has done far more harm than good throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kids had been prepared to go back to the classroom this week following winter break. But in a Tuesday vote, 73% of the Chicago Teachers Union said they wanted to return to remote classes until the current spike in Covid cases "substantially subsides." The omicron variant of the coronavirus has spread quickly through the country, yet has been reported to be milder than earlier variants. Younger people continue to be at far less risk of serious illness from it, and research continues to show the inconsistency in education the past two years has had detrimental effects on young adults' mental health.

The union was crushed as ""selfish," "malevolent" and worse on Twitter for seeming to ignore the science.  (Read more)

- Lord God we pray over all those placed in leadership positions over our children that they would make wise, Godly decisions. We pray, Lord, that they would be thinking of the children first and foremost instead of political pressure, bribes, or threats in Jesus name amen.

10. Mayo Clinic terminates 700 employees for failing to comply with vaccine mandate - Just The News

The Mayo Clinic hospital system in Minnesota has reportedly fired 700 employees who failed to comply with its COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Employees of the Mayo Clinic were given until Monday to receive their first dose of the vaccine, or to obtain a medical or religious exemption to the mandate. The clinic said that about 1% of its 73,000 person staff failed to comply with the mandate.

"While final numbers are still not available, nearly 99% of staff across all Mayo Clinic locations have complied with the required vaccination program, meaning they have been vaccinated or have received medical or religious exemptions," the clinic said in a statement to the Star Tribune.

The clinic said that the percentage of staff that it has had to let go is comparable to the figures of other health care systems with similar mandates in place, adding that officials granted the majority of exemption requests made by employees.  (Read more)

- Lord God, it makes no sense to fire healthcare workers while all we hear about is cases rising and the need for healthcare workers. We just pray Lord that those making these decisions would heed to your Spirit of wisdom instead of political pressure and a communist agenda. In Jesus name.

- “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” (1 Timothy 4:1)

ALERT!
Countdown Begins: Biden Mandate Goes Before SCOTUS

At 9:00 AM today, the ACLJ filed our reply brief to the United States Supreme Court opposing the Biden employer vaccine mandate. Although the penalties for violating this mandate don’t go into effect until February, as we’ve told you, employers must begin to comply tomorrow. Oral argument in the case will be held at the Supreme Court this Friday after the mandate is already in effect.

As we stated in our brief:

The President recently conceded that “there is no federal solution” to the pandemic; rather, the problem should be “solved at the State level.” Nonetheless, the government incorrectly asserts a wide-ranging power to impose a vaccine mandate upon millions of Americans. No branch of the federal government, much less a federal agency, has ever attempted to impose a vaccine mandate.

This mandate has caused considerable confusion when it comes to what employers are actually required to do in order to avoid fines, which can amount to approximately $13,653 per violation. ACLJ Director of Policy Harry Hutchison explained how employers will have to begin complying with this vaccine mandate:

The employer will have to make some affirmative steps toward . . . complying with the rule, and failure to do so could result in penalties. But I also think employers will also have to engage in some research because if they are going to allow employees to engage in testing, the question becomes are sufficient testing kits available? And I think the answer is no. Lastly, let me point out, as I understand it, Anthony Fauci has said that you may need to test up to three times in order to comply.

When Dr. Fauci was asked if the at home rapid tests even work to detect the COVID-19 Omicron variant, he responded:

The answer is they do. I think the confusion is that rapid antigen tests have never been as sensitive as the PCR test. They’re very good when they are given sequentially. So, if you do them like maybe two or three times over a few day period, at the end of the day, they are as good as the PCR, but as a single test, they are not as sensitive.

Yet, the testing requirements are nearly impossible to comply with because of the lack of availability of tests and long lines to get tested. Like we’ve said before, President Biden has admitted “the problem should be solved at the State level.” Nonetheless, he continues to push for a federal vaccine mandate that would require employees to get vaccinated or get weekly testing to report back to their employers in order to do their jobs at their respective workplaces. - Father God, we raise up a firewall of prayer around this hearing on Friday, so that only Your voice would be heard by the Justices as they weigh this case before You. Let justice be done, and let this be the END of the overreach of the Biden administration in this matter. We pray that the Executive Branch would STAND DOWN from creating laws, so that only the Legislative Branch would be free to do so, according to the guidelines of our Constitution. Come, Lord Jesus we pray, come.

- "For the Lord is our judge,
    the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
it is he who will save us."

FIND YOUR VOICE!
[Editor's note: Even though this call to action is coming out of the State of Michigan, we sense that our GOD is calling us ALL to "find our voice" in this end-time. Please read the
article below and seek our Lord about how you will respond to this call to action. Amen!

(Source: Transform Michigan)
Michigan's voice is being restored! Each state in our nation on our nightly calls has a voice in this critical season of time we are in. The voices in our states must be restored to declare and prophesy when God's intended will, and purpose is for each region in America. There is life and death in the words that we speak, and we each carry a voice where out of our belly can flow rivers of living water. The realization of what we declare, and prophecy must be driven deep into our spirits to understand the authority we carry. May our voices be restored!

RESTORATION: An act of restoring or the condition of being restored: such as a bringing back to a former position or condition: reinstatement the restoration of peace.

During brokenness, failures, sin, mistakes, and hurts that are experienced in our respective states, our families, in our personal lives, our nation and this world, Jesus restores. To restore literally means to bring back, return, and recover, put back in order, and to adjust back together. Restoration can also refer to a return of the authentic priesthood power, spiritual gifts, ordinances, living prophets and revelation of the primitive Church of Christ after a long period of apostasy.

"We are calling on the state of Michigan and the Great Lakes Region to join together for “Michigan Speaks”. Come from the North, South, East, and West as ONE VOICE declaring what the Lord is saying to the state and region. Leaders are coming from all over the Lower and Upper Peninsula, small towns and cities carrying a word from the Lord to release over the State and Region. Michigan’s destiny as The Voice is to release a Great Lakes, Greater Glory Movement! For this movement to manifest, it will take ALL of us, joined in worship with one heart and voice calling on God to display His glory now. God is calling the hungry and desperate for HIM to gather and become an expression of His voice and sound on the Earth. We are the landowners and gatekeepers of this territory; we say LET THE KING OF GLORY COME IN! " - Barbara Yoder

Will you make your voice heard? You have authority over the region you have been called to occupy. Speak out over your families, the county and city you reside in, your state and our nation. Sound the shofar! As we unify our voices America will be saved and the Great Awakening that we have been praying for will become a reality. How many times have we said bring the kingdom of God into your imagination and it will become a reality...may faith arise?

"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you." (1 Peter 5:10)

"The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty." (Psalm 29:4)

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21)

"The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” (Psalm 29: 7-9)

An illustration of a hovering-rover concept. (Image credit: MIT)
This 'UFO' rover could hover on the moon and asteroids one day
The levitating rover concept is a wild new idea to explore airless worlds.

Air is invisible but mighty: birds harness it to fly, planes on Earth and distant machines like NASA's Ingenuity helicopter on Mars work with it to soar above the surface. Now, researchers are working on a new craft that could lift off the ground with no air at all.

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) want to engineer a new kind of hovering spacecraft that can operate without air. Instead of relying on air like birds and planes, it will levitate using the electric charge available from interplanetary surfaces.

The team is currently working on a test version of the craft: a small, disc-shaped test vehicle about the size of a human palm and weighing about as much as a chicken egg. Interestingly enough, the developing design for this airless hovering spacecraft looks remarkably like a sci-fi inspired "flying saucer." Read More

Kind Woman Says God Put it on Her Heart to Give Her Car to Total Stranger, a Kentucky Tornado Survivor Who Lost Everything

A woman who survived the Mayfield candle factory collapse earlier this month and subsequently lost everything was just gifted something truly incredible: a car.

Rebecca Marsala was trapped for five hours after tornados ripped through Kentucky on Dec. 10., destroying the candle factory where she worked. Like many, Marsala lost so much that tragic day, WKYT-TV reported.

The woman, who was injured and spent days in the hospital, also lost her car, which was parked in the lot of the factory when the tornado struck.

But after losing her vehicle, something amazing happened: she was gifted a car from a random stranger named Sharon Sutherland. (CBN) Read more.

Thoughts for Repentance
21 Days of Removing Fear

Day four: remove the fear of loss of money.
Spend time today, one on One with the Holy Spirit, asking Him---even in five minutes of your prayer time--- if you have any fear of loss of money. Did it begin as a child? Was it passed down to you generationally? Does that fear appear in your character today?

Allow Him, Who loves you so much, to convict you of any residue of that sin, that fear of loss of money. With His perfect love, exercise your free will to confess that sin. He will forgive you. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And then decide, if you wish, to repent, to turn away from that sin stronghold, replacing it with His Holy Word as your Truth going forward.

As with all strongholds that you remove, then choose His Way forward based on His Word.

Psalm 78:20 speaks to this issue:

" Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?"

Jesus' Words in Luke 16: 13 are on point:

" No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

Words: Isaac Watts
Music:  Robert Lowry

Scripture: Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion. Jeremiah 31:6

Lyrics:
Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
Join in a song with sweet accord
And thus surround the throne,
And thus surround the throne.

Refrain
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.

The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place;
Religion never was designed
Religion never was designed,
To make our pleasures less,
To make our pleasures less.

Refrain

Let those refuse to sing,
Who never knew our God;
But favorites of the heavenly King,
But favorites of the heavenly King
May speak their joys abroad,
May speak their joys abroad.

Refrain

The God that rules on high,
And thunders when He please,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
And manages the seas,
And manages the seas.

Refrain

This awful God is ours,
Our Father and our Love;
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
To carry us above,
To carry us above.

Refrain

There we shall see His face,
And never, never sin!
There, from the rivers of His grace,
There, from the rivers of His grace,
Drink endless pleasures in,
Drink endless pleasures in.

Refrain

Yea, and before we rise,
To that immortal state,
The thoughts of such amazing bliss,
The thoughts of such amazing bliss,
Should constant joys create,
Should constant joys create.

Refrain

The men of grace have found,
Glory begun below.
Celestial fruits on earthly ground
Celestial fruits on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow,
From faith and hope may grow.

Refrain

The hill of Zion yields
A thousand sacred sweets
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Or walk the golden streets,
Or walk the golden streets.

Refrain

Then let our songs abound,
And every tear be dry;
We’re marching through Immanuel’s ground,
We’re marching through Immanuel’s ground,
To fairer worlds on high,
To fairer worlds on high.

Refrain
