U.S. House adjourns without a speaker after GOP leader Kevin McCarthy falls short in three votes

The U.S. House of Representatives adjourned for the day Tuesday without a speaker, after Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., failed in three consecutive votes to secure enough support to be elected to the post.

The failed votes marked the first time in 100 years that the majority party in the House has not elected a speaker on its first vote. The staunch opposition to McCarthy from a core group of Republicans grew larger over the course of the day, throwing the party into chaos.

During each of the three voice votes, every Democrat on the floor rallied unanimously around incoming Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. But a sect of conservative Republicans split from their party to back other candidates, including longtime McCarthy ally Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.

(Side note: Jim Jordan has been given Eye to Eye and is a supporter of Israel.)

- We thank You Abba, for the determination in the Republican party members to bring changes for righteousness.  It is a shame that it has to come under these circumstances, and we ask You to withhold the Democrat party from gaining access to the power, in Jesus name.  We pray for the person of Your choosing to rise up and be elected.  We call for a halt to the nasty accusations and venom against one another and for Your anointing and victory upon the person You have chosen.  We declare that the Spirit of God will draw this party together for the good of the nation, in Jesus Holy Name.

- "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him.  For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'"                      (1 Samuel 16:7)

2. No surrender to Hamas’ – Ben-Gvir visits Temple Mount - World Israel News

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the Temple Mount on Tuesday morning, despite Hamas threats that his presence at the holy site would be met with violent retaliation.

Ben-Gvir’s visit marks the first time that an Israeli government minister has visited the site in five years. Notably, he went on the 10th day of the Hebrew month of Tevet, a Jewish fast day commemorating an ancient siege of Jerusalem that led to the destruction of the Holy Temple.

The visit was uneventful, with pictures and videos of Ben-Gvir surrounded by security guards and accompanied by a rabbi walking around the compound widely circulating on both Hebrew- and Arabic-language social media platforms. (Read more)

3. Terrorists launch rocket which explodes in Gaza - Israel National News

Terrorists launched a rocket from the Gaza Strip towards Israel this evening (Tuesday) which exploded inside Gaza.

The rocket was launched towards an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council and no red alert siren was activated in accordance with the warning policy of the Home Front Command.

The IDF stated that "a failed rocket launch that fell in the Gaza Strip was identified tonight (Tuesday). In accordance with standard operating procedures, an alert was not activated. Full routine continues on the Israeli home front." (Read more)

4. Netanyahu’s UAE visit said postponed after Abu Dhabi slams Temple Mount visit - Times of Israel

A visit by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates slated for next week has been postponed until February, Hebrew media reported Tuesday.

Reports of the postponement came shortly after the Gulf state condemned Israel over a Tuesday morning visit by new National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to the Temple Mount holy site in Jerusalem.

Associates of Netanyahu denied any connection between the incidents, however, saying the visit had been postponed due to logistical considerations, according to the Ynet news site.

Netanyahu’s planned visit to Abu Dhabi, which his office confirmed on Monday, would be his first official visit to the Gulf state. In the years leading to the 2020 Abraham Accords, Netanyahu held several covert visits to the UAE as premier, but never a public one. (Read more)

5.  Netanyahu: ‘Dangerous’ Iran Deal Still Here - Algemeiner

i24News – Israel’s 37th government held its first cabinet meeting on Tuesday, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stating he believed the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal could still be revived.

Netanyahu started his opening remarks by saying: “The previous government was not united on any national goal. They had only one goal – to prevent this moment; beyond that, nothing.”

“Everyone pulled in a different direction, and the country stood still,” he continued. “As a result of this, many problems accumulated alongside the previous government’s complete inaction in many areas: Security, governance, the economy and advancing peace.” (Read more)

1. Suspect in NYC police stabbing may have Islamic extremist ties - Fox News

The suspect taken into custody for the stabbing of two New York City police officers may have ties to Islamic extremism.
Investigators are looking into whether the attacker, identified as Trevor Bickford of Maine, was a radical due to his recent activity online, police sources reportedly told the New York Post. Bickford, 19, is accused of slashing two officers at a security checkpoint near Times Square on New Year's Eve.

A high-level police source also tells Fox News Digital that Bickford was being watched by the FBI's counterterrorism task force in the weeks leading up to Saturday's attack. The source also said Bickford recently converted to Islam and a tipster claimed he had expressed interest in going to Afghanistan. (Read more)

- Lord, we thank You for revealing the potential terrorist ties to this perpetrator. We pray for law enforcement to be able to prevent such attacks. We ask that You visit this suspect and reveal Your truth to him.

- “He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.”  (1 John 2:2)

2.  What We Know About Bryan Kohberger, Suspect in Idaho Student Killings - Today.com

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in the killings of four University of Idaho students.
Police announced on Dec. 30 that Bryan Christopher Kohberger was apprehended the day before in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, a small town about 40 miles north of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Moscow Police Chief James Fry said at a press conference that Kohberger is a graduate student at Washington State University, just across the state line in Pullman, Washington.

Kohberger is suspected in the deaths of Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21 — four University of Idaho students who were killed in a home near campus on Nov. 13.

Kohberger was a Ph.D. student at WSU in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, university officials said in a statement on Dec. 30. They added that WSU Police Department had helped Idaho law enforcement officials search both Kohberger’s apartment and office on the WSU campus on Friday morning. (Read more)

- Lord, we thank You for assisting law enforcement in capturing this suspect. We pray that You will preserve their investigation so that this subject will no longer be allowed out of custody to harm others.  May he come to know You as You have done for many inmates.

- “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

3. Americans strongly support security measures for absentee ballot drop boxes, poll finds - Just The News

Americans only have moderate trust in the midterm election results and overwhelmingly support strong security measures for drop boxes used to collect absentee and early ballots, according to recent polling.

The Rasmussen poll surveyed 1200 registered voters and was conducted Dec. 8-9. Of the 1200 registered voters that were interviewed, 76% said that drop boxes used to collect absentee and early voting ballots should be available only in places and times where they can be supervised and have video surveillance.

When asked if they believed that votes were accurately counted for the midterm elections, 65% were somewhat or very confident, 8% weren't sure and 27% said they weren't very confident.
There has been a lot of talk regarding election integrity, early voting, and the counting of ballots in the last two years due to issues in individual counties in different states. (Read more)

- Holy King, we pray that there is a strong measure of security over these dropboxes, but most of all, we pray for them to be deleted 100% in this nation.  We haven't needed them before 2020, we don't need them now.  We pray for righteous elections and justice in the counting done by honorable citizens, in Jesus name.

- "'And it shall come to pass at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And punish the men Who are settled in complacency, Who say in their heart, "The Lord will not do good, Nor will He do evil."'"  (Zephaniah 1:12)

4. Katie Hobbs sworn in as Arizona governor as Kari Lake continues court challenge - Just The News

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was sworn in on Monday in a private ceremony. Other elected officials, including Democrat Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes, Republican Treasurer Kimberly Yee, Republican Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne, and Republican Mine Inspector Paul Marsh, took the oath of office as well before the public inauguration on Thursday.

The event took place on the ninth floor of the Capitol executive tower. Arizona’s Constitution requires certain statewide officials to begin their terms on the first Monday in January.

As for Hobbs, she is taking the reins from Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, who has served in the position since 2015. The last Democratic governor was Janet Napolitano, who was in office until 2009 before serving in the Obama administration. (Read more)

- Just Judge, we pray for Your justice to follow Katie Hobbs like a shadow.  We put her into Your hands and ask that she is surrounded by people of faith, who speak salvation, repentance and life to her.  May she come to the point of turning to You and doing what is right and of good report, in Jesus name.

- "The Lord is righteous in her midst, He will do no unrighteousness.  Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, But the unjust knows no shame."  (Zephaniah 3:5)

5. Virgin Islands Attorney General Fired Days After Suing J.P. Morgan Chase for Facilitating Epstein Abuse - Breitbart

United States Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise George was fired by Gov. Albert Bryan (D) just days after announcing a lawsuit that accused banking giant J.P. Morgan Chase of turning “a blind eye” to evidence of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operation.

George filed a lawsuit against J.P. Morgan Chase in federal court in Manhattan last week, arguing the financial institution benefitted from Epstein’s sex trafficking operation and helped conceal activities that occurred on his property by failing to comply with federal regulations on records properly and reporting that may have tipped off Epstein’s activities to U.S. officials before they eventually came to light.

As Breitbart News reported:
“Financial institutions can connect — or choke — human trafficking networks, and enforcement actions filed and injunctive relief obtained by attorneys general are essential to ensure that enterprises like Epstein’s cannot flourish in the future,” George wrote in the complaint.
George argued that J.P. Morgan Chase should have thought twice before allowing Epstein to become a client, given that he pleaded guilty to a sex-related charge involving a minor in Florida in 2008. (Read more)

- Holy King, thank You for the courage of Attorney General Denise George for filing charges against JP Morgan Chase.  She likely knew her job was at risk, but stepped up nevertheless.  We ask You to bless her, bring justice to her in this situation and may every law broken receive a just consequence, in Jesus name.  Amen.

- "The Lord's voice cries to the city – Wisdom shall see Your name:  'Hear the rod!  Who has appointed it?'"  (Micah 6:9)

6. Nancy’s Goodbye Letter as Speaker - Breitbart

In her final letter as Speaker of the House before a Republican majority is sworn in, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) wrote that she believes House Democrats are the “greatest collection of intellect, integrity and imagination assembled.”

“One final thought that I wanted to leave with you is my belief that the House Democratic Caucus is the greatest collection of intellect, integrity and imagination assembled for the good of the American people,” she wrote in her final to her colleagues on both sides of the aisle on Monday evening.

She continued: “During the 117th Congress, President Biden and Congressional Democrats have put forth a shining vision of justice for all.  Together, we have worked tirelessly to infuse this value into our legislative efforts.  We can all take immense pride in our achievements toward that goal, which is making a real difference in the lives of the American people.
In the 118th Congress, I am confident that the new House Democratic Leadership – led by Hakeem, Katherine and Pete – will do even better, remaining always faithful to our shared mission to safeguard our treasured Democracy For The People.” (Read more)

- Thank You Father, that Nancy Pelosi is no longer in power in Congress.  We ask for Your great grace to repair the damage done to this covenant nation.  We pray for justice to surround her in every way, including upon every unrighteous deed she may have committed.  May this change also result in a turning around of the filthy streets and culture of San Francisco.  We pray for her relationship with her church to be restored and that she would walk in repentance, in Jesus name.

- "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all."  (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

7. UPenn Doctor: Antibodies ‘From Infections Or Vaccines Don’t Seem To Work’ Against New COVID Subvariant - The Daily Caller

A University of Pennsylvania doctor and former COVID-19 advisor to President Joe Biden said Monday that the new COVID variant is evading the vaccines.

Ezekiel Emanuel joined MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” and said the new variant, XBB 1.5, “is spreading very rapidly” and slipping past the defenses of the vaccines.

“So XBB 1.5 is spreading very rapidly, which means it can evade and outcompete the other subvariants,” Emmanuel said. “It seems to avoid the antibodies but also bind more tightly to cells and that gives it the competitive advantage it needs and unfortunately the antibodies that we have from infection or vaccines don’t seem to work and the monoclonal antibody shield we have that a lot of immunocompromised patients don’t use doesn’t seem to be working that well.” (Read more)

- Father, we take authority over the covid and its variants and command them to cease infecting humans, and become completely neutralized, in Jesus name.  We pray Father that You will bring destruction to the core of this virus and variants and that they will not have any ability to continue to spread sickness, in Jesus name.  In its place, we pray for miraculous healings and revelation of Jesus Christ as healer and restorer, to all mankind.  Amen.

- "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."  (Isaiah 53:5)

8. Republicans Take Over House, Speakership Election to Decide Who Will Lead Chamber - Breitbart

All eyes are on the speakership election, where House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy–the GOP conference’s nominee for Speaker–seeks to make it official and lock in the votes necessary to win the gavel.

However, McCarthy has been fighting off a band of rebels working to prevent him from ascending to the position and it could derail the new Congress on its first day since nothing else can happen until a speaker is elected. To win, a speaker must earn the majority of votes of those who are present and voting for a person–nominated or not.

Any absences or “present” votes lower the threshold by a half vote below what full House attendance–435 members–would require to achieve such a majority, which is 218 votes. Since one Democrat died in late November, the late Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA), the number is already down to at most 434 members for full attendance–and could drop lower if more Democrats do not show up or vote present. If all the other Democrats show up, it would still require 218 votes to elect a speaker–and Democrats have said they will be at full attendance. (Read more)

- Holy and Righteous King, we pray for Your guidance in choosing a leader who will guide our nation out of the hands of those that would weaken it, spread deceptions and accusations and support unequal justice.  We pray for the person filled with righteousness, morality and integrity, whom You have ordained for such a time as this, to be a strong leader in the House, who is willing to take the heat and still do the right thing.  You know who You have chosen, please let Your will and Your way be done in this matter, in Jesus name.

- "'Look among the nations and watch– Be utterly astounded!  For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.'"  (Hab. 1:5)

9. Latest Biden Shortage Is Vital Children’s Medicine - Breitbart

Parents now have a children’s medicine shortage to add to Joe Biden’s ongoing baby formula shortage. “[A] shortage of children’s medications is leaving parents scrambling to care for their kids as three potentially deadly diseases permeate the United States,” reports Business Insider.

More:
The explosion of the three illnesses has left parents demanding more medications than stores and suppliers anticipated — leading to a shortage.
“Everybody is sick, and everybody needs medicine at once,” and companies can’t keep up with the high demand, Joanna Dolgoff, a pediatrician and spokeswoman for the American Academy of Pediatricians, told the Washington Post this month.
And with short supply, retailers from CVS to Walgreens to Target have limited the amount of children’s pain medication customers can purchase at once. (Read more)

- Holy Healer, we pray that You would grant parents wisdom to care for their children despite the lack of medicines.  This type of shortage is becoming too common in our nation, but we know Abba, that You have provided medicines in the earth to heal all sickness and disease – not to mention You, Yourself, our healer.  We ask You to protect and restore our children and do not let the enemy steal or destroy any longer, in Jesus name.

- "'And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field.' Says the Lord of hosts;"  (Malachi 3:11)

10. Kim Jong-un Demands ‘Exponential Increase of the Country’s Nuclear Arsenal’ - Breitbart

Communist dictator Kim Jong-un of North Korea used his party’s end-of-year meeting to make a call for “an exponential increase of the country’s nuclear arsenal” through the “mass-producing of tactical nuclear weapons,” state media revealed on Sunday.

The regime-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) published a summary of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea’s (WPK) year-end plenary meeting, held from December 26-31, on Sunday, detailing what it described as a “report” delivered by Kim to Party elders. KCNA noted that Kim explicitly stated that North Korea’s nuclear weapons are not strictly defensive weapons and are necessary to “firmly safeguard the Republic’s absolute dignity, sovereignty and right to existence.”

North Korea, alongside ally China, has been at war with neighboring South Korea and its ally, America, since 1950 – a war that ceased active hostilities in 1953. Kim and his predecessors, father Kim Jong-il and Kim Il-sung, have all intermittently entertained “denuclearization” and peace talks, but to no avail. Kim Jong-un allegedly proclaimed a “firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula” during his meeting with former U.S. President Donald Trump in 2018, but the document in which he stated that did not define “denuclearization.” The North Korean regime typically uses the term to mean the removal of American nuclear weapons from South Korea, not an end to North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. (Read more)

- Mighty God, we bind this plan for a nuclear weapons build-up in North Korea and we bring it to You for elimination.  We pray for it to be brought to a halt and we declare the nuclear weapons program will self-destruct and come to nothing, in Jesus name.  May peaceful relations be sought between North and South Korea and other neighbors.  We ask You Father, to do business with Kim Jong Un; may the faith of his forefathers and mothers be brought up to the surface in him, his sister, and his daughter in such a strong way, that they would turn and get new God-hearts, in Jesus name.  We pray for a restoration of Christianity to the people of North Korea, in Jesus name.

- "'For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light."  (Mark 4:22)

Discernment And Wisdom Key To 2023

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 3, 2023

Banks are issuing recession warnings. The national debt is expanded by Congress and a spendthrift president. Inflation is likely to continue unabated. Interest rates will climb. Excess deaths are continuing to increase. New variants of COVID are emerging. There are rumors of vaccine passports and possible lockdowns. Russia and Ukraine continue to duke it out in a deadly war. China’s COVID problems continue to escalate. The more facts that come out on a daily basis indicate that the FBI, IRS and other administrative agency actors are conspiring with big business to censor dissent, even change the outcomes of elections. There is a whole bunch of stupid going around, making discernment and wisdom key to 2023.

These events underscore the need to dive deeper into your personal relationship with Christ. Deeper prayer. Deeper understanding. Deeper spiritual awareness. To coin a phrase: We need to be wise to survive. This means that we all need to study the Word of God for ourselves, let the Holy Spirit guide us in our daily walk, and as 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 says, “prove all things: hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” This year will be a thorough test of testimony. There will be conspiracy theories. There will be misinformation and disinformation coming from the most unsuspecting places that will make it seem like it should be real. Read More

Graham’s Warning

By Gary Bauer

Over the weekend, Reverend Franklin Graham warned that the year ahead is likely to bring more of the same tragedy and travails that defined 2022.

From the war in Ukraine to senseless violence across America, “the world we live in seems to be imploding,” Graham wrote, adding that we will see more socialism and more attacks on faith. He urged Christians to be ready, to be involved and to be bold.

He’s absolutely right!

There are powerful forces that want to make government bigger and God smaller. That is the inevitable interaction between God and government. As government gets bigger, God gets smaller in people’s lives.

That’s what Nazism tried to do. That’s what communism continues to do. And we certainly saw it during the pandemic when Big Government leftists tried to shut down our churches and synagogues.

It is a perfect summary of the battles we are fighting in Washington, D.C. We are trying to defeat the neo-Marxists who dominate the progressive movement, and defend religious freedom, our right to worship and the freedom to spread the Good News.

Everything else stems out of that battle. It’s all related to limiting the size of government and expanding God’s role in our lives.

Al Qaeda Threatens New Attacks

By Gary Bauer

As Americans were celebrating the new year, Al Qaeda issued a new threat against the United States. It vowed to target commercial aircraft once again using “new techniques and tactics.”

Meanwhile, the Air Marshal National Council is furious that Joe Biden keeps transferring air marshals from domestic flights, where they are supposed to stop another 9/11, to the southern border, where they are acting as a concierge service for illegal aliens.

Gee, what could go wrong with these two things happening at the same time?!

In related news, a young man believed to have been radicalized by Islamic extremism attacked two New York City police officers on New Year’s eve.

This will not surprise you, but it will infuriate you: He was on the FBI’s radar because his own mother reported him!

Once again, we’re learning that these Islamic “lone wolves” are in fact “known wolves.” But their attacks are rarely thwarted by “the feds.”

Perhaps these lapses with Islamic extremists are related to the FBI working overtime to censor free speech on social media while investigating pro-life activists, MAGA supporters and concerned parents at school board meetings.

Blinken tells Israel’s new Foreign Minister: US will oppose steps that undermine 2-state solution
Blinken tells Israel’s new Foreign Minister: US will oppose steps that undermine 2-state solution

Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday stressed US opposition to policies that undermine efforts to reach a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, during his first call with new Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.

The United States has repeatedly stressed this position before and after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government was sworn in last week. Netanyahu’s right-religious coalition has agreed to expand Israeli settlements in the West Bank and legalize dozens of wildcat outposts. The first clause of its overall government guidelines specifies: “The Jewish people have an exclusive and inalienable right to all parts of the Land of Israel” — an area that includes the biblical Judea and Samaria, today’s West Bank.

Netanyahu’s Likud party has also agreed in principle with the far-right Religious Zionism faction to work to annex large parts of the West Bank. However, those two parties’ coalition deal includes a clause giving the premier an effective veto, which he is likely to maintain, as he seeks a normalization deal with Saudi Arabia. (Times of Israel) Read more.

- Father God, the Biden administration may support a two-state solution in Israel, but we don't! As Your Kingdom children and prayer warriors, we stand in the gap for the sins of our nation against the sovereignty of the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and we ask You to forgive Biden and his staff for these statements, for they know not what they do. Come, Lord Jesus, and save YOUR people . . . come.

Rare Unexpected Discovery Of Elizabethan-Era Ship At Quarry 300 Meters From The Coast

Conny Waters - AncientPages.com - A team from CEMEX unexpectedly uncovered the remains of a rare Elizabethan-era ship while dredging for aggregates at a quarry on the Dungeness headland in Kent. Found some 300 meters from the coast, the discovery stumped the quarry team, who contacted our experts to study the remains.

Recognizing the significance of this extraordinary discovery, Kent County Council enlisted specialist support and emergency funding from Historic England.

Very few English-built 16th-century vessels survive, making this a rare discovery from what was a fascinating period in the history of seafaring. The late 16th-century was a period of great expansion of trade, with the English Channel serving as a major route on Europe’s Atlantic seaboard. Although the ship remains unidentified, it represents an era when English vessels and ports played an important role in this busy traffic.

Over 100 timbers from the ship's hull were recovered, with dendrochronological analysis funded by Historic England, dating the timbers that built the ship to between 1558 and 1580 and confirming it was made of English oak. This places the ship at a transitional period in Northern European ship construction. Read More

Military Service Members Granted Relief After Being Denied Religious Exemption from COVID-19 Vaccine
Texas federal judge has granted relief to 10 military service members after the Army denied their religious accommodations from the COVID-19 shot mandate. The Liberty Counsel filed a lawsuit on behalf of six U.S. Army soldiers and four Army West Point cadets who requested an exemption to the Army's shot mandate due to their religious beliefs but were denied.Meanwhile, the Army continued to grant medical and administrative accommodations to the COVID vaccine mandate. According to the non-profit legal group, each person opposed the COVID shot because they believed the injections were associated with aborted fetal cell lines. Texas District Court Judge James Wesley Hendrix granted a preliminary injunction last week stating that the "soldiers have a right to religious freedom."

"Our first commander in chief cautioned that '(w)hile we are Contending for our own Liberty, we should be very cautious of violating the Rights of Conscience in others...The great majority of the soldiers in the Army express religious preferences,'" Wesley wrote in his decision. He continued, "The Army does not dispute this history or its ongoing obligation to accommodate its soldiers' religious freedom, including compliance with RFRA. But it has failed to prove that its ongoing imposition of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, which indisputably burdens some soldiers sincerely held religious beliefs, serves a compelling interest through the least restrictive means available. As a result, the Army must retreat from imposing its mandate in this particular field and permit religious exemptions to these Plaintiffs". The Army is now prohibited from taking any disciplinary, punitive, or separation measures against any of these service members. (CBN) Read More
- Lord, we sing HALLELUJAH for this righteous verdict and Your protection over these military service members! Continue to pour blessings over those standing against being forced to receive a covid-shot. Bring due justice to those in the military, and within corporations throughout America, who were forced to comply in order to keep their jobs. In Jesus powerful name we pray, Amen.

- "But the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one."  (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

O How I Love Jesus

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words: Isaac Watts
Music: Lowell Mason

Scripture: Because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Lyrics:
There is a name I love to hear,
I love to speak its worth;
It sounds like music in mine ear,
The sweetest name on earth.

Refrain
O how I love Jesus,
O how I love Jesus,
O how I love Jesus,
Because He first loved me!

It bids my trembling heart rejoice;
It dries each rising tear;
It tells me, in a still small voice,
To trust and never fear.

Refrain

Jesus, the name I love so well,
The name I love to hear!
No saint on earth its worth can tell,
No heart conceive how dear.

Refrain

This name shall shed its fragrance still
Along this thorny road,
Shall sweetly smooth the rugged hill
That leads me up to God.

Refrain

And there, with all the blood-bought throng,
From sin and sorrow free,
I’ll sing the new eternal song
Of Jesus’ love to me.
