50,000 Pro-Lifers Line the Streets of San Francisco During West Coast Walk for Life
|
|
Tens of thousands of prolife supporters rallied in the 21st annual Walk for Life West Coast Saturday, filling Civic Center Plaza and marching for more than a mile through the city’s center behind the Walk’s banner 'Abortion hurts women'. “We want all babies to have a future,” said Elizabeth of Young Adults for Christ of St. Elizabeth Church in Milpitas, who came with her husband, toddler and friends. “Babies are life. I have my baby—he is my everything,” she said. “I am here to prevent abortion,” said Dylan, part of a group of young people from Sacred Heart Parish in Turlock. “These babies don’t have a voice, and they are being killed.” California enshrined abortion until birth in its constitution in a statewide vote months after the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision overturned Roe v. Wade.
Walk speaker Kelly Lester told the crowd the abortion industry’s goal is not choice. As an abortion clinic worker, she said: “We did everything to make sure the woman’s choice was abortion.” Lester was a ranked tennis player with a bright academic future whose abortion at 15 derailed her life. “I walked out and ran from everything good in my life.” Drugs, crime with a cartel, and work at an abortion clinic followed. Now a married mother of six, Lester works with an organization of former abortion workers, And Then There Were None, as well Pro-Love Ministries and Maps Global. “If you turn to the Lord, he will heal you,” Lester said. Speaker Ryan Bomberger, co-founder of The Radiance Foundation, told the crowd: “Life is everything. Without it we are literally nothing.” Conceived in rape and adopted into a large family, Bomberger’s organization is a life-affirming organization based on the belief that every human life has purpose. Bomberger said his birth mother’s choice brought “triumph out of tragedy.” (LIfenews) Read More Here

Trump Admin Offers Buyouts to Nearly All Federal Employees
|
|
Federal employees are being offered buyouts through a new ‘deferred resignation’ initiative, allowing them to resign while receiving pay until September.
|
|
Federal employees are being offered buyouts under the Trump administration’s new “deferred resignation” initiative, with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to send emails with the proposal to federal workers, according to Katie Miller, a member of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“This email is being sent to more than TWO MILLION federal employees,” Miller wrote in a post on X on Jan. 28, in which she shared a report by Axios indicating that the Trump administration will offer to pay eligible federal workers through the end of September, provided that they hand in their resignation by Feb. 6.
A memo from OPM circulated on Jan. 28 in the agency aligns with reporting from Axios cited by Miller. It provides more details about the deferred resignation initiative, though it does not provide any details about the timing and scope of the email containing the proposal that is to be circulated to workers.
The White House did not respond to a request for additional information about the initiative. One of the objectives of DOGE is to reduce the size of the federal workforce as part of its broader mission to enhance governmental efficiency.
The OPM memo indicates that the voluntary program is being offered to all full-time federal employees, with the exception of personnel in the military, the U.S. Postal Service, immigration enforcement, and national security, or any positions specifically excluded by the employing agency.
“Deferred resignation exempts those employees who choose it from return-to-office requirements,” the memo states, noting also that employees who accept deferred resignation should have their duties re-assigned or eliminated promptly and be placed on administrative leave immediately until Sept. 30. - Abba, we pray for each federal employee who is receiving the 'buy out' of their position. Father God, You know what is best for each individual as well as what is required for our government to continue functioning without interruption. We ask for Your perfect will to be done in each decision made to stay or go, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as each makes their life plan going forward. For all employees who choose to stay, we ask for a very easy, peaceful transition as new responsibilities must be shared by potentially fewer people. We ask for those who choose to leave, that Holy Spirit will guide and direct them to the perfect job You intend for them.to do. Jesus, thank You that Your son, Donald, has heard Your voice and is working quickly to be obedient to what You have called him to do. We ask for Your peace and presence in the midst of all these changes being implemented. We ask this in the name Jehovah Shalom, The Lord Our Peace.
- "Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him."

Trump Issues Executive Order to End Federal Support for Gender Transitions
|
|
The president’s order aims to reverse Biden-era policies that fund so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ for individuals under 19 years old.
|
|
President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to protect children under the age of 19 from gender transitions.
The order signed on Tuesday cuts off any federal support for such surgeries.
“Accordingly, it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called ’transition' of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures,” the order stated.
Trump’s order cites the dangers of “chemical and surgical mutilation,” including the use of puberty blockers and any procedure that attempts to transform a person’s physical appearance to align with an identity that is different from his or her sex.
It states that many children don’t fully understand the consequences of their decision to undergo gender transitions.
“Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding,” the order stated. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Abba, we give You high praise for ending the demonic practice of gender transitions for kids younger than 19. We ask Holy Spirit to begin moving on the hearts of all medical people, revealing to them the truth of what they are doing against Your little ones. Open their hearts to hear Your voice, to understand how You view them in light of their actions. Jesus, pour the fear of You into their hearts and into all adults who have been deceived and are convinced that this is a good option for their children's lives. We thank You that Your son, Donald, has the courage to stand up for Your kids in the face of much anger and hostility. We ask You to move in power and might over our nation, changing hearts and minds, that this abomination will never again be allowed in our country. We ask this in the name Jehovah Rohi, The Lord Our Shepherd.
- For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be
their shepherd; 'he will lead them to
springs of living water.' 'And God will wipe away
every tear from their eyes'"

House Oversight Chair Worries Resistance From Federal Agencies Will Sink Efforts to Cut Spending
|
|
Sitting on the shelf in the nation’s capital are thousands of ideas for making Uncle Sam cost taxpayers a lot less.
|
|
Federal departments and agencies have not addressed 13,808 cost-saving anti-waste and fraud recommendations from inspectors general (IGs), some more than five years old, and nearly 300 more related Government Accountability Office (GAO) ideas, according to government data.
Federal workers’ resistance to reform—plus congressional fears of complaints by civil service workers back home in their states or districts—are two main obstacles to achieving President Donald Trump’s plans to reduce the size and costs of the federal government, according to House Oversight and Accountability Committee (HOAC) Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).
There are 74 IGs who, under the Inspectors General Act of 1978, are appointed by the president but answer to Congress.
Once described by former President Ronald Reagan as the government’s “junkyard dogs,” IGs are the first line of defense against waste, fraud, and abuse in government. Among Trump’s first acts as chief executive was to fire 17 IGs, some of whom he previously appointed during his first term in the White House.
“Congress needs to pay attention,” Comer told The Epoch Times in a recent interview when asked about the thousands of open recommendations. “On my committee, we read the IG reports because we deal with the IGs, but I don’t think very many members of Congress even know what an IG report is.”
When asked why that is the case, Comer said, “You’ve got a lot of Members of Congress who have been here a long time, they are on certain committees ... they love to spend money, but it’s no fun cutting spending.” (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Abba, it grieves our hearts as it does Yours, that bureaucrats working in our Federal Government have no concern when they unwisely spend US taxpayer's dollars. They have used it as if it were Monopoly money, having no understanding or interest in budgeting what they have been given. Father God, we ask You to move over the hearts and minds of every federal employee, pour out "the fear of the Lord", show them what You see and how You see it. Give them ample reason to "examine and reconsider" their attitudes toward their responsibilities in handling the American people's money. Jesus, we ask for every person who has a change of heart, that Your hand will guide and direct them, give them new ideas and plans to use each dollar in their budgets effectively. For those who don't have the desire to see and act differently, we ask that You make a pathway out for them, that they will seek employment elsewhere. We ask this in the name El Roi, The God Who Sees Everything.
- "His eyes are on the ways of mortals;
he sees their every step."

3. Israel demands Hamas clarify condition of hostage mother Shiri Bibas and children - World Israel News
Israel has demanded information and clarity on the status of hostage mother Shiri Bibas and her two children, Ariel and Kfir.

Hamas reported that 25 of the 33 hostages slated for release are alive and would return in the first part of the agreement, while the bodies of deceased captives would be handed over later.

5. Australian Police Foil Antisemitic Attack After Finding Explosives, List of Jewish Targets - Algemeiner
Australian police announced on Wednesday that they foiled a potential mass-casualty antisemitic terrorist attack after discovering a caravan in a suburb of Sydney filled with explosives and material containing details about Jewish targets.
The announcement came amid a wave of antisemitic incidents, including arson and graffiti, in Australia recent months that has alarmed the country’s Jewish community.
Law enforcement officials said police discovered a list of Jewish targets and a cache of Powergel, a mining explosive, in a trailer located in the outer suburb of Dural on Jan. 19.
According to New South Wales state Deputy Police Commissioner David Hudson, there were enough explosives to create a bomb with a blast zone of around 40 meters, or 130 feet.
“This is certainly an escalation,” Hudson said in a press conference, commenting on the recent spate of antisemitic crimes in the greater Sydney area, where businesses and vehicles have been torched and buildings vandalized with graffiti. (Read more)

The ICE field office in Miami, Florida, shared the details behind five of the illegal aliens arrested – three in Florida and two in Puerto Rico. The two arrested in Puerto Rico were residents of the Dominican Republic, and one was charged with domestic violence while the other was charged with driving under the influence of liquor.

2. Three pro-life policies implemented by Trump in first week of his second term - Christian Post
President Donald Trump has taken several actions via executive order and administrative directive to advance the pro-life cause since taking office last week. His actions reverse several pro-abortion policies implemented by his predecessor, President Joe Biden.
The Trump administration’s moves on abortion policy coincided with Friday’s March for Life, the annual gathering of pro-life activists in Washington, D.C., where Trump delivered pre-recorded remarks via video message. Here are three steps the Trump administration has taken to implement the objectives of the pro-life movement as the official policy of the United States government. (Read more)

President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, reacted to a video of actress Selena Gomez weeping over the administration deporting illegal migrants, many of whom committed crimes, such as rape or sexual conduct against children.
Homan, the former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who Trump appointed as his border czar, told Fox News opinion host Sean Hannity on Monday that immigration officials are working to protect national security in the United States.
In response to the Trump administration’s efforts to deport illegal migrants, former Disney Channel star Selena Gomez filmed herself crying and posted the video on Instagram on Monday. While the video has since been deleted, other social media accounts have shared it online. (Read more)

4. California to Dismiss Case Against Journalists Who Exposed Abortion Industry’s Fetal Body Parts Practices - Breitbart
The State of California reached an agreement on Monday to dismiss a video recording case against two journalists who exposed the abortion industry’s fetal body parts practices.
Center for Medical Progress (CMP) founder and president David Daleiden and undercover reporter Sandra Merritt released undercover videos in 2015 of Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation (NAF), and biomedical research companies regarding the alleged trafficking of aborted baby body parts. In 2017, and in addition to earlier legal action, the California Department of Justice filed an arrest warrant against them, accusing them of violating a state recording law.
After a roughly nine-year legal battle, the state negotiated a settlement with Daleiden and Merritt in exchange for a “no contest” plea on a single video recording charge. The “no contest” plea will be entered into judgment as a misdemeanor in six to 12 months and then converted into a “not guilty” plea before being dismissed and expunged, according to CMP. Seven of the 14 video recording charges initially brought in this case had already been dismissed, the organization noted. Other litigation regarding the constitutionality of state video recording laws like the one in California is ongoing. (Read more)

5. All Pacific Palisades residents now allowed to return home for first time since fire - ABC Los Angeles
All Pacific Palisades residents are now allowed to return home for first time since the fire.
The policy change went into effect at noon on Monday. "Thanks to the tireless efforts of our public safety, public works, and utilities partners - as of noon [Monday] all of the Pacific Palisades will be opened for resident re-entry," said Los Angeles Councilwoman Traci Park in a video posted to her Instagram page. "This is a watershed moment and I want to thank you all for your patience to allow these workers to clear major hazards."
According to Park, as part of the update, the stretch of Pacific Coast Highway along the Pacific Palisades will be reopened for resident-only traffic. Eyewitness News was told residents will still need police escorts but you can check in at Lot 3 for re-entry.
Park said residents will be allowed to go back between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., but the 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew will remain in effect. For those in the Highlands, due to the rain, Palisades Drive has only one open lane, so drivers are being asked to be patient. (Read more)

6. Trump launches anti-Semitism crackdown as he orders deportation of pro-Hamas students who terrorised campuses - Daily Mail
President Donald Trump is ordering the deportation of foreign students who took part in pro-Hamas protests on college campuses in the US as he launches a wide-ranging crackdown on anti-Semitism.
A new executive order will target resident aliens - including students with visas - who broke laws during demonstrations following the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel. Trump said he would instruct his Justice Department to 'aggressively prosecute terroristic threats, arson, vandalism and violence against American Jews'.
He added: 'To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice... we will find you, and we will deport you.
'I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathisers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before.' It was the latest in a slew of orders that Trump has signed since becoming President as he looks to fulfill his campaign promises. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: The Fact Checkers
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 29, 2025
As President Trump was signing rights-restoring executive orders, and working to reverse a government deeply invested in Marxism under the moniker of “democracy,” the mainstream news media was working overtime to “fact check” everything that Trump said. A review of news media sites like CNN indicated that every claim that Trump made was being fact checked and used as fodder to twist into threats to “democracy.” The media still sticks to the narrative of Jan 6 being an insurrection; that the 2020 election wasn’t rigged; that COVID serums were safe and effective, and so on. They even fact checked what Trump said about victory margins in certain states. Who fact checks the fact checkers?
One story actually said that there was no evidence of election fraud in California during the last presidential election. Of course, there was no evidence. If the law states that one cannot ask for a voter identification, there is no way a person can be accused of falsely voting. Dead people, illegals, criminals, all can vote whether they are eligible or not. If a name is on the voter roll, that person’s name can be used to represent a vote. It is open season on legal voting fraud. But the news media doesn’t think that way—either on purpose or from ignorance. The media just reports that Trump continues to falsely claim there is election fraud when there is no evidence of election fraud. Read More

New Israeli Ambassador to America:
A Wonderful Man!

New Israeli Ambassador to US is a Champion for Judea and Samaria and a Bridge to Evangelical Christians
|
|
Israel’s new ambassador to the United States, Rabbi Yechiel Leiter, brings a bold vision for strengthening Israel’s diplomatic standing, particularly by deepening ties with evangelical Christians and championing the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. His commitment to proactive engagement reflects both his strategic approach and his deep-rooted belief in Israel’s historical and legal rights.
Leiter has placed significant emphasis on maintaining and expanding Israel’s relationship with evangelical Christians, recognizing their steadfast support as a pillar of Israel’s international diplomacy. “We’re seeing a generation of evangelical Christians that feels less connected to Israel than their predecessors,” he cautioned in a recent interview with The Jerusalem Post. “We need to prioritize outreach to these young people and explain why Israel remains central to their faith and values.”
Rather than taking evangelical support for granted, Leiter advocates for direct engagement, education, and outreach. He understands that younger generations may not have the same automatic connection to Israel as their predecessors, making it imperative to reinforce their historical and theological ties. “Their passion for Israel is unmatched, but we need to ensure that this connection remains strong for future generations,” he asserted.

Man charged with carrying Molotov cocktails into Capitol, allegedly targeted Bessent, Hegseth and Johnson
|

Ryan English turned himself in to Capitol Police and was found with two Molotov cocktails made from Absolut Vodka bottles
|
|
A man arrested Monday after allegedly bringing two Molotov cocktails to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., said he initially intended to kill House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and newly confirmed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, federal prosecutors said.
Ryan English turned himself in to the U.S. Capitol Police, saying he had two Molotov cocktails made with 50 milliliter Absolut Vodka bottles and multiple knives, according to court documents. He is charged with carrying a firearm, dangerous weapon, explosive or incendiary device on Capitol grounds and unlawful receipt or possession of a firearm.
During a search, officers found English with a folding knife and Molotov cocktails in his jacket pockets, authorities said.
"USCP K9s swept and cleared the area, while other USCP officers and agents tracked down English’s car along the 900 block of Independence Avenue, SW," the Capitol Police statement said. "Investigators uncovered materials to make additional Molotov cocktails inside the vehicle."
A receipt found in English's pants pocket had a message that read:
"Judith dear god I am so sorry. You must understand I can feel myself dying slowly b/c of my heart," the message states. "This is terrible but I cant do nothing while nazis kill my sisters. I love you. This is awful. Im so sorry. I love u. Please stay alive and heal. you can. you are strong enough. F--- them for pushing us so far. you dont deserve this. Im so sorry for lying and plotting and lying. Please survive."
Federal prosecutors said English left his home in Massachusetts on Sunday and traveled to Washington with the intent of killing Hegseth, whom he referred to as a "Nazi," and Johnson, and burning down the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

DeepSeek fallout: GOP Sen Josh Hawley seeks to cut off all US-China collaboration on AI development
|
|
This week the U.S. tech sector was routed by the Chinese launch of DeepSeek, and Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is putting forth legislation to prevent that from happening again.
Hawley’s bill, the Decoupling America’s Artifical Intelligence Capabilities from China Act, would cut off U.S.-China cooperation on AI. It would ban exports or imports of AI technology from China, ban American companies from conducting research there, and prohibit any U.S. investment in AI tech companies in China.
"Every dollar and gig of data that flows into Chinese AI are dollars and data that will ultimately be used against the United States," said Hawley in a statement. "America cannot afford to empower our greatest adversary."
His is one of the first bills introduced directly in response to the DeepSeek market shakeup of the past few days. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You for this bold move on the part of Senator Josh Hawley to protect our nation from Chinese interference in AI research. May it sail through the Senate, move through the House quickly, not become "stalled" in conference committee and finally be signed into law by President Donald John Trump. AMEN.

The Bible and Archaeology: Friend or Foe?
|
|
The Biblical narrative has always told a great story. A Semitic monotheistic people are enslaved and brutally mistreated in ancient Egypt. Against all odds they break free, return to their ancestral homeland (Israel), establish a kingdom, and build a world famous Temple. Division sets in that leads to civil strife, internal spiritual conflicts between monotheism and idol worship, and ultimately subjugation by foreign powers. Despite multiple expulsions and destructions, they continuously rise from the ashes, rebuild, survive, and thrive. That’s the story of the ancient Israelites (a.k.a. the Jewish people), but how much of it is historically accurate?
As a child watching the Ten Commandments, attending multigenerational Passover seders, and singing the songs of the Haggadah, it almost feels as if you’re leaving Egypt with Moses! As one becomes older, however, you can’t help but ask certain question like “did these events actually take place”? “Is this really based on history or did some eccentric scholars imagine it a thousand years later?”
One of the methodologies that came out of the scientific revolution was the field of archaeology. That word usually connotes digging up dinosaur bones or treasure hunting. The reality is that over the past 200 years, archaeologists have unearthed thousands of years of ancient civilizations including Biblical cities, monumental architecture, tombs of historical kings and queens, and written records inscribed by people who lived during Antiquity. With all the multitudes of data uncovered in these excavations, is there any physical evidence for the Biblical narrative? Is the Bible historically reliable? To answer these questions, I would like to invite you to follow me, licensed tour guide Avi Abrams, on a virtual tour of ancient history, as we compare and contrast the Bible with the archaeological record. "Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
