America’s Reprieve: God’s Game Plan Going Forward
|
|
With the historic and astounding victory of Donald Trump, the progressive movement received a rebuke to its socialist strategy to topple traditional America. What’s essential now is for authentic Christ-followers to demonstrate the “upside down” kingdom lifestyle. Consider 30 Jesus principles delineating the contrast between God’s ways and those of the elitists, whose ways lead to ruin. The progressive movement and its tenets are crumbling... Now’s the time to embrace and make known the ways of King Jesus. (Charisma News) Read More Here!
Abba Father we celebrate this long-awaited glorious day and lift PRAISE for Your unwavering mercy and grace upon the United States of America! We invite your presence and Your Angel Armies to stand guard over President Trump, his family, Vice President JD Vance and every detail of the inauguration. We declare the weight of Your GLORY will fall upon our nation today and the 'changing of guards" will reveal seamless transition. We stand in awe of You and decree in Jesus' Name that no evil schemes will materialize and Almighty God's plan for anointing Donald John Trump as 47th President of the United States will prevail. We proclaim Your holy righteousness will return upon this nation! By the Blood and Mighty Name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.

Trump vows 'new era of national success,' says America's 'decline is over' in inaugural address
|
|
President Trump said a "tide of change is sweeping the country," striking an optimistic note as he told Americans during his inaugural address Monday that the U.S. is beginning a "new era of national success," while declaring that the country's "decline is over."
Trump addressed the nation on Monday after taking the oath of office for the second time and being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
"In recent years, our nation has suffered greatly. But we are going to bring it back and make it great again, greater than ever before. We will be a nation like no other, full of compassion, courage and exceptionalism. Our power will stop all wars and bring a new spirit of unity to a world that has been angry, violent, and totally unpredictable. America will be respected again and admired again, including by people of religion, faith, and goodwill," he said.
"We will be prosperous, we will be proud, we will be strong, and we will win like never before. We will not be conquered. We will not be intimidated. We will not be broken, and we will not fail," he said. "From this day on, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign and independent nation. We will stand bravely. We will live proudly. We will dream boldly, and nothing will stand in our way. Because we are Americans. Their future is ours, and our golden age has just begun." (Fox News) Read more here.

Russian President Vladimir Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Trump on his return to office, specifically his "desire to restore direct contacts with Russia, which were interrupted through no fault of our own by the outgoing administration."
"We also hear his statements about the need to do everything to prevent a third World War," Putin said during a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council. "Of course, we welcome this attitude and congratulate the U.S. president-elect on taking office."
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
Canada's outgoing prime minister, Justin Trudeau, shared his congratulations to Trump.

President Biden Issues Three Last-minute Pardons

President Biden Preemptively Pardons General Milley, Anthony Fauci, and January 6 Committee Members
|
|
President Joe Biden preemptively pardoned former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Retired Gen. Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, and members of the January 6 Committee — with just hours left in his administration.
In a statement released Monday morning at 7 a.m. — just several hours before President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, the White House issued a statement from Biden touting them “dedicated, selfless public servants.”
He claimed he believed in the rule of law, but said, “But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing.”
House Oversight Committee Republicans reminded Americans that Biden also pardoned his son Hunter Biden — which the outgoing president had told the country he would not do:
Joe Biden will be remembered for using his last few weeks in office to shield his son from the law and protect himself.
Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) posted: “Mark Milley might be pardoned but we will continue to explore ways to hold him accountable.”
I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families. Even when individuals have done nothing wrong—and in fact have done the right thing—and will ultimately be exonerated, the mere fact of being investigated or prosecuted can irreparably damage reputations and finances. - Mighty God and Just Judge, we pray for You to deal with every wrong-doer who received a "pre-emptive pardon", in Jesus name. It seems that under the former administration, truth and justice are somehow nebulous terms based on influence or power, rather than following clear-cut legal definitions. We pray for strategies to drive forward justice in every one of these matters. The pardons are particularly egregious in light of the fact that so many people have been wrongfully imprisoned and mistreated, or lost their livelihoods, health or even their lives. We pray for Your strength, Lord, to be able to forgive every one of these people involved, and we look to a time that their crimes are examined in a legitimate court of law, in Jesus name.
- "You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry? You caused judgment to be heard from heaven; The earth feared and was still, When God arose to judgment, To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah" (Psalm 76:7-9)

1. Ari Fuld's brother: We fear this terrible deal while rejoicing for released hostages - Israel National News
In 2018, Eytan Fuld lost his brother, famed media personality and activist Ari Fuld, in a murderous terror attack in Gush Etzion. This week, the Fuld family learned that the terrorist who murdered Ari will be released from prison as part of the hostage and ceasefire deal with the Hamas terror organization.
In a conversation with Arutz Sheva-Israel National News, Eytan recounted the moment his family learned that his brother's murderer would be let loose. "Saturday night I had my parents over and right after Shabbat ended, I got the message from friends and friends of friends who just wanted to be part and say that their heart is with us. It was a very tough moment, I felt a very strong stab in the stomach. I walked out of my room, told my parents, and spoke to my sister-in-law, Miriam. There was a lot of crying and a lot of pain.
He noted that "it's not our pain, it's the pain of the future, the pain of those who will suffer the consequences of what happens next because these murderers, these terrorists being let out, walking freely, what they have in mind is only murder and hate. That's their goal in life and they're going to continue doing what they're doing. Our pain is for those who are going to feel it and go through what we've been going through in the past six years."

2. Hamas Says Next Hostages Will Be Released on Saturday as Scheduled - Algemeiner
Hamas said on Monday it would next release hostages held in Gaza on Saturday, after an official with the Palestinian terrorist group had said they would be released a day later than expected.
Hamas is set to release the more than 90 hostages over the coming weeks as part of a complex ceasefire deal reached with Israel this month that could end the 15-month war in Gaza.
The terrorist group said in a statement that the next group of hostages would next be released on Saturday in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and detainees who are held by Israel.
Earlier, Nahed Al-Fakhouri, head of the Hamas prisoners’ media office, had said the hostages would be released on Sunday. Hamas had been expected to release four Israeli hostages on Saturday, seven days after the ceasefire came into effect. (Read more)

3. Houthis: Attacks on Israel-linked ships will continue until last phase of Gaza truce - JNS
Yemen’s Iranian-backed Houthi militia has signaled that it will limit its maritime attacks in the Red Sea to only Israel-linked vessels, the Associated Press reported on Sunday.
The Houthis’ Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center announced that the terror group was “stopping sanctions” on other vessels it has targeted since November 2023, according to the report.
For Israeli ships, the Houthis’ attacks will only be stopped “upon the full implementation of all phases” of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal that went into effect on Sunday, it added.
“In the event of any aggression … the sanctions will be reinstated against the aggressor state,” the statement continued. “You will be promptly informed of such measures should they be implemented.” (Read more)

4. Lapid: Hostage deal must be fully implemented, ‘our goal isn’t to return to war’ - Times of Israel
The ceasefire agreement with Hamas “must be implemented in full, until the last of the hostages returns to their families,” Opposition Leader Yair Lapid tells reporters ahead of his Yesh Atid party’s weekly faction meeting in the Knesset.
“Contrary to the government’s position, our goal is not to return to war. The goal is to rebuild Israeli deterrence, the Israeli economy, Israeli society. It’s time to get back to life,” Lapid argues, stating the national mission is to make Israel “the best country in the world to raise children.”
“After the two terrible years in our history, the war must end, calm must return to our lives. We need to build the army in line with the new challenges, recruit the ultra-Orthodox, invest in reservists. It’s a long process,” he says. (Read more)

1. 'Progressive' staff members on Capitol Hill demand 20% cut in workload - WND
Complain that a full work week makes them hunt for other work 'earlier' than they want
Not many American taxpayers would refuse this deal: Their boss says they can cut their work time by 20% and keep the same pay and benefits.
But likely not many would demand that.
But a coalition of "progressive" staff members on Capitol is making that exact demand, a plan that would cost taxpayers the same in salary and benefits but would dramatically reduce the work load, by giving those employees a 32-hour work week instead of 40.
The Washington Examiner has documented that the "Congressional Progressive Staff Association" has written to Congress to insist on less work for the same pay.
The letter claims the move would increase staff retention, prevent burnout and serve as a national model. (Read more)

2. O’Keefe Media Group Exposes Former FBI Special Agent and Self Described “Spy Hunter” Giving Tell-All on Defense Department’s Plan to Sabotage Incoming Trump Administration - The Gateway Pundit
O’Keefe Media Group has released footage from their investigation into Department of Defense advisor Jamie Mannina, revealing that he’s working behind the scenes with third-party groups and retired generals to undermine Trump’s incoming administration.
O’Keefe was in Washington, DC, this past weekend exposing Deep State employees who gave up information on plans to sabotage President Trump’s incoming administration.
… O’Keefe said in an X post earlier today, “I’ve reached out to the Pentagon for comment and they responded. They’re taking this very seriously…” …
During the meeting with an undercover journalist, Mannina revealed that he had a “huge, huge meeting with military leaders in a very secure room called the Tank.” “So we have a Tank meeting with all of the tiop, top leaders of the United States’ Military tomorrow on my topic that I prepared,” he said.
Mannina says he’s “a little worried,” and he’ll try to do what he can with retired generals to stop the Trump Administration. (Read more)

3. State blames energy producer for plastics waste, wants 'multiple billions of dollars' - WND
While environmental stewardship is important, concerns about sustainability must be balanced carefully with consumer interests
The idea of corporate social responsibility is not new. For years, there has been a push for companies to act in a more socially responsible manner, specifically as it relates to environmental stewardship. While environmental stewardship is important, concerns about sustainability must be balanced carefully with consumer interests. The nation's most populous state increasingly appears to have forgotten these important fact.
California is suing oil and gas giant ExxonMobil for alleged "deceptive public messaging surrounding plastics recycling" and its culpability in "the plastic waste and pollution crisis." Unfortunately, the lawsuit is extremely misguided and ignores the complicated role plastics continue to play in society. It seeks to pin blame on a single company for a global problem while absolving itself from any responsibility. (Read more)

4. Philippines, U.S. hold joint maritime exercises in South China Sea - Reuters
The Philippines and the United States carried out joint maritime exercises for a fifth time in the South China Sea, Manila's armed forces said on Sunday, in a move that would likely irk China.
The Philippine military said in a statement it held a "maritime cooperative activity" with the U.S. on Friday and Saturday, its first for the year and fifth overall since launching the joint activities in 2023.
Security engagements between the two allies have soared under Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who has pivoted closer to Washington, allowing the expansion of military bases that American forces can access, including facilities that face Taiwan. The activities "reinforced bilateral maritime cooperation and interoperability", the Philippine armed forces said.
Their joint activity came at a time when the Philippines had called out China over the presence of Chinese coast guard vessels inside its maritime zone, including the 165-m (541 ft)-long ship that it describes as "the monster" for its size. (Read more)

ISTANBUL/DAMASCUS, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Negotiators are zeroing in on a potential deal to resolve one of the most explosive questions looming over Syria's future: the fate of Kurdish forces that the U.S. considers key allies against Islamic State but neighbouring Turkey regards as a national security threat.
Diplomatic and military negotiators from the United States, Turkey, Syria and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are showing more flexibility and patience than their public statements suggest, a dozen sources told Reuters, including five directly involved in the intensive web of discussions in recent weeks. 7. Trump orders US exit from World Health Organization - Reuters
The United States will leave the World Health Organization, President Donald Trump said on Monday, saying the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises.
Trump said the WHO had failed to act independently from the "inappropriate political influence of WHO member states" and required "unfairly onerous payments" from the U.S. that were disproportionate to the sums provided by other, larger countries, such as China.
"World Health ripped us off, everybody rips off the United States. It's not going to happen anymore," Trump said at the signing of an executive order on the withdrawal, shortly after his inauguration to a second term.
The WHO said on Tuesday that it regretted the move from its top donor country.
"We hope that the United States will reconsider, and we really hope that there will be constructive dialogue for the benefit of everyone, for Americans but also for people around the world," WHO spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic told reporters in Geneva.

Choosing Life
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 20, 2025
This current time in which we live is distinctly marked as a struggle between life and death. It is evidenced by the terrorist attacks by the Islamic death cult, raging disasters often exacerbated by inept human leadership, and the religion of death found in abortion. Life is central to God’s eternal plan. That informs the evil dedication to killing life with death. As the Lord says in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” While we are not all prophets, God has set us apart and has given us a choice to join His plan of life, liberty and blessing for His creation. We have many examples in scripture. Let us examine the story of Moses.
The descendants of Jacob/Israel had multiplied and become very powerful in the land of Goshen. The new Pharaoh feared that there would be an uprising, and enslaved them. But God remembered them—enter Moses, who’s life was preserved by the LORD through the actions of five women. The first two were the midwives, Shifrah and Puah, who refused the king’s order to kill the Israelite male babies as they were being born. The third was Jochebed, Moses’s mother, who hid Moses as long as she could. The fourth, Moses’s sister Miriam, ensured he was safely delivered in a basket on the Nile to the fifth, Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted and raised Moses as her own son. Read More

Jan. 6 nightmare over for 1,500 Americans as Trump issues pardons, commutations
|
|
More than 1,500 Americans are celebrating the end of a prosecutorial nightmare now that President Donald Trump has pardoned or commuted the sentences of those charged with offenses related to the protest at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
On Monday evening, just a few hours after taking the oath of office for the second time in eight years, Trump issued a "full, complete and unconditional" blanket pardon for most Jan. 6 defendants, whom Trump called political "hostages." Those who will benefit from such a pardon number more than 1,500, according to estimates.
"This proclamation ends a grave national injustice that has been perpetrated upon the American people over the last four years and begins a process of national reconciliation," read a proclamation from the White House.
The proclamation also orders the attorney general to ensure the immediate release of any Jan. 6 inmates currently in custody and "to pursue dismissal with prejudice to the government of all pending indictments against individuals for their conduct related to the events at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021." - Father God, we thank You for the complete and immediate release of our political prisoners now, in Jesus' name. We know that there are prisons (DC Gulag) which are refusing to release these people and even threatening them with physical violence and we cry out together with our patriots for their freedom. We bless President Trump for pardoning these J6ers as well as the pro-lifers who have also been unjustly imprisoned and we pray for their speedy returns to their families and society. We also pray for recompense and healing from on high, in Jesus' name.

Ending Crime and Securing the Southern Border
|
|
|
President Trump’s “Securing Our Borders” executive order reinstates the Migrant Protection Protocols, conventionally known as the Remain in Mexico policy, requiring alleged asylum seekers to wait in Mexico until their trial. The majority of asylum cases never reach a hearing (and the majority that reach a judge are denied). Meanwhile, the Biden administration released illegal immigrants into the American heartland.
His order “Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship” would end birthright citizenship, the notion that if illegal immigrants give birth to an anchor baby on U.S. soil, that child is an American citizen. Legal scholars wrangle over the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment clause “subject to the jurisdiction” of the U.S. government — a term some of the amendment’s authors explicitly limited to U.S. citizens. A legal challenge to this EO is inevitable.
Trump’s executive order “Declaring a National Emergency at the Southern Border of the United States” takes steps to secure the border, noting the harm caused to Americans by “cartels, criminal gangs, known terrorists, human traffickers, smugglers, unvetted military-age males from foreign adversaries, and illicit narcotics.” The emergency declaration allows the president to deploy the National Guard and other military units to the border, build the border wall, and patrol the border with aerial drones.
A related executive order “Designating Cartels and Other Organizations as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists” notes that drug cartels “functionally control, through a campaign of assassination, terror, rape, and brute force nearly all illegal traffic across the southern border of the United States” and threaten “the stability of the international order in the Western Hemisphere.” The government may designate transnational criminal organizations such as Tren de Aragua (TdA) and La Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) as foreign terrorist organizations within 14 days. When a reporter asked if President Trump might consider sending Special Forces troops into Mexico to target these duly designated terrorist organizations, he answered in a coy fashion, “I might.”
Trump’s executive order “Clarifying the Military’s Role in Protecting the Territorial Integrity of the United States” notes, “Unchecked unlawful mass migration and the unimpeded flow of opiates across our borders continue to endanger the safety and security of the American people and encourage further lawlessness.” The Secretary of Defense has 10 days to draw up a plan for the Unified Command Plan that assigns United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) “to seal the borders and maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the United States.”
|
|
His executive order “Protecting the American People against Invasion” rescinds numerous Biden administration executive orders, ends catch-and-release, presses criminal charges against illegal immigrants, and makes it federal policy to “faithfully execute the immigration laws against all inadmissible and removable aliens, particularly those aliens who threaten the safety or security of the American people.”
Trump’s executive order “Protecting the United States from Foreign Terrorists and Other National Security and Public Safety Threats” requires “stringent” vetting of all would-be refugees, requires the government to identify nations whose public records are so deficient that vetting applicants is impossible, and (if necessary) removing aliens who have entered the U.S. from such nations. Federal leaders must also “protect the American people from the actions of foreign nationals who have undermined or seek to undermine the fundamental constitutional rights of the American people, including, but not limited to, our Citizens’ rights to freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion protected by the First Amendment, who preach or call for sectarian violence, the overthrow or replacement of the culture on which our constitutional Republic stands, or who provide aid, advocacy, or support for foreign terrorists.”
Trump’s executive order “Restoring the Death Penalty and Protecting Public Safety” promotes capital punishment as a deterrent, especially since “on December 23, 2024, President Biden commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 most vile and sadistic rapists, child molesters, and murderers on Federal death row: remorseless criminals who brutalized young children, strangled and drowned their victims, and hunted strangers for sport.” He encourages federal and state prosecutors to seek the death penalty “for all crimes of a severity demanding its use” (such as killing police officers or a capital crime committed by an illegal immigrant) and “to ensure that each state that allows capital punishment has a sufficient supply of drugs needed to carry out lethal injection.”

All the Executive Orders Trump Signed on Day One
|
|
|
In his second inaugural speech Monday afternoon, President Donald Trump promised that a series of forthcoming executive orders would implement the 2024 election’s “revolution of common sense.” He immediately proceeded to sign an avalanche of executive orders repealing the Biden-Harris administration’s promotion of transgender ideology, ending the weaponization of government against pro-life advocates, safeguarding freedom of speech, securing the southern border, emphasizing American energy independence, and ending imperious government decrees by the federal bureaucracy.
President Trump wasted no time signing executive orders on all these subjects, and many more, after being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. Trump began signing the first several executive orders in front of cheering MAGA supporters inside the Capital One Arena, throwing the pens he used to sign the orders — a cherished and sought-after collectible — into the audience.
Trump noted on Sunday that he would not wait, as he did in his first administration, to begin implementing the policies the American people voted for — and erasing the legacy of outgoing President Joe Biden. “Somebody said, ‘Sir, don’t sign so many in one day. Let’s do it over a matter of weeks.’ I said, ‘Like hell we’re gonna do it over weeks,’” said then-President-elect Trump on Sunday.

We ask each one be implemented as designed, that those which will ultimately face legal challenges be approved and accepted as written. Father God, we ask that any changes made will only be made to more closely align these orders with Your hearts desires for our nation. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has power over all things.
- "Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds!
Your enemies cringe before your mighty power..."

Senate confirms Marco Rubio as secretary of state in first Trump Cabinet post approval
|
|
|
The Senate on Monday confirmed Marco Rubio as secretary of state, making him the first of President Trump's Cabinet nominees to win the approval of the upper chamber.
The Senate confirmed Rubio in a 99 to 0 vote as his former colleagues in the Senate touted his qualifications for the job.
Rubio has represented Florida in the Senate since 2011 and resigned Monday upon Mr. Trump's inauguration. The 53-year-old China hawk has extensive foreign policy experience and was widely considered to have among the smoothest paths to confirmation in the Senate.
Rubio, who has taken hardline positions on China, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba, inherits the position facing a number of global challenges, including Russia's war in Ukraine, persistent violence in the Middle East, China's aggression against Taiwan and its tense relationship with the U.S. Mr. Trump has also suggested using military force or coercion to gain control of Greenland and the Panama Canal. He's floated annexing Canada as the 51st state and has threatened trade wars with U.S. allies.
The Florida Republican appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last week for a confirmation hearing. Rubio received a warm reception from the committee, where he was previously a senior member. (ABC News) Read more here.

- Father God, once again we recognize that this vote is an answer to prayer. Holy God, thank You for Marco Rubio, a man whose strong stance in foreign policy aligns with that of President Trump, and whom we can trust to carry out his agenda. We pray, too, for his protection. Thank You, Lord, amen.

How President Trump could change NASA
|
|
As the Trump administration returns to power, NASA faces a crossroads that could redefine its mission for decades to come.
As the new Trump administration takes the reins in the White House, there is feverish speculation about how its policies will reshape NASA's direction and priorities, as well as the wider space sector.
Swift and profound changes could impact a number of areas of space, such as the future of the agency's Artemis moon program, which rockets are favored or canceled, funding levels for Earth and climate science and the very operation of NASA itself.
Battles will play out over the coming months and years to decide the direction and extent of a number of U.S. programs and agencies, with push and pull between factions calling for budget cuts or strengthened spending in key areas. Here are some of the big issues and the factors that may decide their fate. Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
