Dems Cry ‘Racism’ After DCNF Bombshells Expose Rep. Judy Chu and Biden Appointee’s Ties To Alleged Chinese Intel
|
|
Several Democrats labeled a Republican lawmaker’s recent comments about California Democratic Rep. Judy Chu “racist” and “xenophobic” in a series of tweets and press releases Thursday.
Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, along with Reps. Adam Schiff of California, Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois and Daniel Goldman of New York attacked Texas Republican Rep. Lance Gooden after he questioned Chu’s “loyalty or competence” during an interview on Jesse Watters Primetime on Wednesday night. Gooden’s comments were in response to Chu’s defense of Dominic Ng, President Joe Biden’s appointee to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), following a series of reports from the Daily Caller News Foundation which revealed that both Chu and Ng have apparent ties to alleged Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence front groups.
“Lance Gooden’s slanderous accusation of disloyalty against Rep. Chu is dangerous, unconscionable and xenophobic,” a press release from Jeffries office stated.
Gooden said that Jeffries was “playing the race card in a sick display of disloyalty to our nation,” in a press release response.(Daily Caller) Read more.
- Lord, aside from the obnoxious rhetoric, these two people are possibly connected to the Chinese Communist Party. One of them has access to classified material, which is a National Security risk. We ask that You sort this all out, not allowing anyone to escape scrutiny. Let truth prevail!

Chinese military orders US plane away from its airspace, flies fighter jet 500 feet from wing
|
|
A U.S. Navy plane recently flying over the South China Sea reportedly received an ominous radio warning from China before the country scrambled a jet to track the U.S. aircraft.
"No approaching any more or you will pay full responsibility," a voice from a Chinese air force ground station told a U.S. Navy P-8 flying outside of Chinese airspace over the South China Sea, NBC News reported.
Shortly after, a Chinese fighter jet positioned itself about 500 feet from the left wing of the U.S. plane, which continued on its course, for an over an hour before peeling away.
U.S. military officials say that the encounters are becoming more frequent in the South China Sea as China attempts to position itself as the dominant force in the area and claims control over many of the largely uninhabited islands in the sea.
"Typically we don’t get a response, sometimes we’ll get nonverbal responses. But overall we’re trying to encourage a safe and professional encounter while we’re both operating in international airspace," Capt. Will Toraason, the commander of U.S. Navy surveillance aircraft, told an NBC News reporter who was on the plane at the time.
"Since I’ve been in the Navy, going on 18, 19 years now, I can tell you there is a dramatic change over that span, specifically the South China Sea," Cmdr. Marc Hines said, which is due in part to China building artificial islands and runways in the South China Sea in recent years. (Fox News) Read more.
- Lord, we pray for a mighty awakening for China: for those who will come to You, heart change. For those who refuse, removal.
- “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.” (Isaiah 60:12)

Two Dem Committees Paid Over $280K To Firm That Improperly Got Republicans’ Service Records
|
|
Two Democratic campaign committees paid over $280,000 to an opposition research firm that improperly received service records from the Air Force, according to Federal Election Committee (FEC) filings.
FEC filings show the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee collectively paid the Due Diligence Group, an opposition research firm, at least $283,000 during the 2022 midterm election cycle, according to the Washington Examiner. Republican Reps. Don Bacon of Nebraska and Zach Nunn of Iowa were among those whose service records were obtained by the opposition research group.
The Air Force began an investigation in October after service records of Republican candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green, an Air Force veteran, were improperly released to the Due Diligence Group, leading to the revelations of a sexual assault Green suffered while in the service. Green lost to Democratic Rep. Frank Mrvan of Indiana in November. Two Republican congressional candidates, Sam Peters and Kevin Dellicker, were informed by the Air Force their records were released, Politico reported.
“The Air Force Personnel Record Center received multiple requests from Abraham Payton, Background Investigation Analyst with Due Diligence Group, LLC, for your military personnel records,” Air Force Maj. Gen. Troy E. Dunn wrote to Bacon on Feb. 7. “He inappropriately requested copies of your military personnel records for the stated purpose of employment and benefits.”
The Air Force told the Examiner the records were improperly sent to the Due Diligence Group. Republican Rep. Scott Franklin of Florida, who serves on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, vowed to look into the matter.
“The unauthorized disclosure of @RepDonBacon, @ZachNunn & 9 others’ service records is an unacceptable failure,” Franklin tweeted.
- Lord, these records were not intended for political purposes, yet these Democrats disclosed them. We ask for justice, for accountability and a reckoning from You.
- “No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before My eyes.” (Psalm 101:7)

1. ‘No words to describe this disaster,’ says mother as two sons buried on Mount Herzl - JNS.org
Brothers Hallel and Yagel Yaniv, who were killed in a terror attack in Samaria on Sunday, were laid to rest on Mount Herzl on Monday.
Mourners lined the road as their funeral procession made its way to Mount Herzl from the northern Samaria community of Har Bracha, waving Israeli flags.
“There are no words to describe such a disaster,” said Esti Yaniv, the victims’ mother. “Instead of taking children to the [marriage] chuppah, we bury them.”
Hallel, 21, and Yagel, 19, were shot at point-blank range by a Palestinian terrorist as they drove through the village of Huwara near where they lived. (Read more)

2. IDF floods Samaria with reinforcements in attempt to de-escalate security situation -.JNS.org
The Israel Defense Forces deployed additional forces in Samaria on Monday in an attempt to de-escalate the deteriorating security situation in the area.
“Following an IDF situation assessment, it was decided to reinforce the Judea and Samaria Division with two additional battalions,” the military said in a statement. “Furthermore, as part of the expanding security activity in the city of Nablus, it was decided to increase the security checks on routes leading in and out of the city. IDF, Israel Police and Israel Border Police forces are currently operating in the Shomron [Samaria] Regional Brigade.”
The move comes a day after a Palestinian gunman murdered two Israeli civilians, brothers in their 20s, as they sat in traffic in Huwara, following which a mob of local Israeli youths went on a rampage through the Palestinian village.
The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry claimed that Sameh Aqtash, a 37-year-old man, was shot dead by Israeli fire during accompanying riots in Za’tara, south of Huwara.
The IDF said that Aqtash “was not shot by an Israeli soldier.”
The Israeli defense establishment has also raised the level of alert around Jerusalem and near the Gaza Strip. On Sunday night, rioters in Gaza burned tires and launched a disturbance near the border with Israel. (Read more)

3. Israel’s Military Says Treating Huwara Riot As ‘a Terror Attack’ - The Algemeiner
During a Monday briefing, an Israeli military official stated that the army was treating the deadly riots in Huwara as a “terror attack.”
The official said that the rioters, inflamed by a Palestinian terror attack that resulted in the death of two Israelis, were “expected on the main road” however they “dispersed around Huwara.” He added: “It was not a good day for us.”
Additionally, the Israeli military official noted that they are on a “manhunt” – both for the terrorist who killed the brothers Hallel Menachem Yaniv and Yigal Yaakov Yaniv and the person who shot and killed Palestinian man Sameh Aktash during the riots. The official clarified that it wasn’t the army that killed Aktash.
During the riots, at least 15 homes sustained damage and over 25 cars were torched, according to Palestinian reports. Additionally, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent medical service, two more individuals were shot, a third person was stabbed, and a fourth person was struck with an iron bar. (Read more)

4. Supreme Court to hold hearing on Tuesday regarding implementation of the Kotel compromise - Jerusalem Post
The Supreme Court will hold a hearing on Tuesday regarding the petition of the Reform movement, the Conservative movement and Women of the Wall (WOW) regarding the implementation of the Kotel compromise. This is the first hearing taking place in the past two years and the first during this government.
Attorney Orly Erez Likhovski, director of the Director of the Israel Religious Action Center, Israel Movement for Progressive and Reform Judaism claimed on behalf of the petitioners that since the last hearing on the petitions, in November 2020, the state “has not carried out even small actions that it stated it would do in terms of the construction work in the Robinson’s Arch,” she said of the egalitarian prayer plaza in the southern area of the Kotel.
“For almost 5 years there has been no access for male or female worshipers at the Ezrat Israel prayer section to the stones of the Kotel, which is not only a blatant discrimination in relation to the men and women worshiping in the separate prayer plaza [the main prayer plaza] but also a blatant violation of the Hoffman High Court ruling given 20 years ago,” which ruled that the Government must establish appropriate arrangements and conditions to permit the petitioners to realize their right to worship in accordance with their custom in the Western Wall Plaza. 5. Far-right anti-LGBTQ Avi Maoz quits government, says his coalition deal was ignored - Times of Israel
The far-right Noam party’s sole lawmaker quit the government on Monday evening, saying he did not believe he would be put in charge of a “Jewish national identity” hierarchy, as stipulated in his coalition agreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party.
MK Avi Maoz sent Netanyahu a letter saying that he was resigning as a deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Office because he was frustrated by an inability to bring about meaningful change in the role. He wrote that he “was shocked to find there was no serious intention of honoring the coalition deal.”
An outspoken homophobe who has also made misogynistic statements about women’s role in society and non-Orthodox streams of Judaism, Maoz was slated to be given control over an Education Ministry department that oversees external programming vendors for public schools. The appointment was met with outrage by pro-liberal forces.
A spokesman for the Education Ministry confirmed Monday that the unit remains under its purview. (Read more)

1. 'Oddball' Trump grand jury foreperson Emily Kohrs dealt a 'terrible blow' to prosecution, Andrew McCarthy says | Fox News
Attorney Andrew McCarthy said Emily Kohrs, the forewoman of a special grand jury as part of the Georgia criminal probe into former President Trump, may have dealt "a terrible blow" to prosecutors with her unusual media tour this week.
In a pair of appearances on CNN and NBC News, Kohrs appeared to strongly hint that Trump was among those recommended for criminal charges while laughing, joking and making animated facial expressions that seemed to provide answers she knew she shouldn't be offering. McCarthy, a senior fellow at the National Review Institute, believes any "fair-mind lawyer" would object to her behavior.
"This is a terrible thing. She basically flouted the secrecy rules of the grand jury. She flouted the judge's order, and she makes the whole enterprise down there in Georgia look like it's a, you know – Trump called it a kangaroo court," McCarthy said.
- Father, we thank You that this foolishness has come to light, to show that the entire proceeding is farcical. We do pray for the soul of this woman, and ask that You work to change her heart. We ask that all false proceedings against President Trump be dismissed.
- “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Prov. 4:23)

2.Biden Will Not Visit East Palestine Following Train Catastrophe | The Daily Wire
President Joe Biden told reporters Friday that he has no plans to visit East Palestine after the community experienced a serious toxic train wreck earlier this month.
The catastrophic February 3 train derailment in the small Ohio community was caused by an overheated wheel bearing on the 23rd of 149 rail cars. Local officials subsequently evacuated all residents within one mile of the accident and started a controlled burn of the vinyl chloride that the train was transporting in an effort to prevent a massive explosion from occurring.
Vinyl chloride, a known human carcinogen used to manufacture PVC, was emitted from five train cars in the form of massive plumes of black smoke visible throughout eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
When asked by reporters if he had plans to visit East Palestine, Biden said, “no,” and proceeded to defend his administration’s response to the incident.
- Lord, every past president has visited the scene of terrible disasters to reassure people that there is hope. Yet not this time. We ask that if there is any hidden agenda in this action, You will shed Your powerful Light on it and bring about justice.
- “When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” (Proverbs 21:15)

3.NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy Throws Cold Water On Biden Admin Claims That Trump Is To Blame For Ohio Derailment | The Daily Caller
A Biden official tossed cold water on claims from both the Biden administration and those on the left that former President Donald Trump is to blame for the Ohio train derailment.
A Norfolk Southern train carrying toxic chemicals derailed Feb. 3 near East Palestine, Ohio, prompting evacuations and shelter-in-place orders throughout the town. Officials have said it is safe for residents to return to the town and that the air and water are safe, though residents have expressed skepticism and requested the federal government do more.
White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said Republicans and the Trump administration “owe East Palestine an apology for selling them out to rail industry lobbyists when they dismantled Obama-Biden rail safety protections as well as EPA powers to rapidly contain spills.”
Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg has also tried to lay blame on the Trump administration, arguing Trump withdrew an Obama-era proposal that would have required a special braking system for trains carrying highly flammable materials.
National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chair Jennifer Homendy dismissed the allegations while speaking Thursday on CNN.
- Lord, let the blame game cease! We pray that this nasty rhetoric that constantly blames President Trump will cease and desist immediately. Let those in authority take responsibility for their own actions.
- “Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13)

4.Zelensky: America Will 'Lose NATO' if it Pulls Military Support from Ukraine (breitbart.com)
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that if America pulls military support from his country, the United States will “lose NATO” and its global leadership position.
Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv (Kiev) on the one-year anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of his country, Zelensky responded to a question on the growing unpopularity of continued support for the war in Ukraine in the United States by criticising Americans who do not want to continue to send arms and billions of their taxpayer dollars to his administration.
“If they do not change their opinion, if they do not understand us, if they do not support Ukraine, they will lose NATO, they will lose the clout of the United States, they will lose the leadership position that they enjoy in the world,” Zelesnky warned.
“They will also lose the support of [Ukraine] with 40 million people, with millions of children. Are American children any different than ours?” he demanded.
According to a Gallup poll earlier this month, nearly half of Republican respondents (47 per cent) believe that the Biden administration is doing too much to support Ukraine. In contrast, 41 per cent of Democrats said that they think the United States is not doing enough, while independents are currently evenly split, with 35 per cent coming down on each side of the issue.
- Lord, we ask that Zelenskyy be visited by Your Spirit, to repent for this not-so-thinly veiled threat. Let him find humility, instead of constantly begging for more and be thankful that so many nations have moved to help them.
- “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.” (Proverbs 11:2)

5.GOP congressman warns of Chinese 'police stations' in US: 'How have we allowed this to happen?' | Fox News
House China Select Committee Chairman Mike Gallagher hosted a press event Saturday at a former illegal Chinese Communist Party police station in downtown Manhattan.
"This innocent-looking building that you see behind me has an unauthorized secret police station linked to the Chinese Communist Party," said Gallagher. "The nonprofit Safeguard Defenders discovered over 100 of these illegal police stations around the world, including at least two more on United States soil."
Gallagher was joined by Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., and Rep. Neal Dunn, R-Fla. in an effort to shine a light on the threat the CCP poses to the United States and the need for the Biden administration to act "aggressively" to defend U.S. sovereignty.
Last year, the pan-Asian human rights organization Safeguard Defenders published an investigation called "Patrol and Persuade" that said another 48 Chinese police service stations were operating abroad in addition to the 54 the group had identified in September.
- Lord, we pray that You will remove all of these Chinese police stations from American soil. Let no person be targeted by the Communist Regime, and let those who fled the Communists be free by a move of Your Holy Spirit.
- “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” (Luke 8:17)

6.GOP reps get birds-up view of migrant crossings during border tour, eye legislative fixes to tackle crisis | Fox News
A delegation of Republican lawmakers on the House Homeland Security Committee visited the southern border in El Paso, Texas this week, getting a first-hand look at the ongoing crisis at the southern border as part of an effort to inform legislation to deal with the crisis.
The committee held a "border bootcamp" ahead of a hearing in Washington D.C. next week and a hearing at the border next month. Republicans have stressed the need to see the communities affected by the crisis in-person and for lawmakers to know the ins and outs of the matter to help create effective legislation.
Rep. Nick Lalota, R-NY., told Fox News Digital on Saturday that the trip was "very informative."
"I had been privy to a lot of the statistics and the figures of how the Biden administration has failed us at the border. But being able to see it firsthand and see the hard work of our Border Patrol agents has inspired me a lot now," he said in an interview. "And as a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, I have a good perspective now on what legislation needs to take place in order to help secure our border."
- Lord, it is a travesty that no Democrats went on this tour as was originally planned. We pray for Your wise solution to this disaster at the border. Only You can change hearts – we ask that You bring repentance to all of us in this country from border to border and sea to sea.
- “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30)

7.Washington teacher says schools must do more to keep students' info secret from 'Christo-fascist' parents | Fox News
A Washington teacher complained on Friday that many schools’ "guidelines and laws" haven’t helped them keep students' information secret from "Christo-fascist" parents.
A tweet shows Auburn School District 408 teacher Karen Love responding to another that urged parents to check their school district’s policy regarding keeping info about their child’s secret from them.
"Parents-check your school districts’ policy regarding keeping info about YOUR child secret from you. There are some scary policies out there. Schools should not have a right to keep info about your child from you unless abuse by you is suspected. There I said it and mean it," a tweet written by "The Principle’s Office" reads.
Love responded, "I cannot disagree with this more. So many students are not safe in this nation from their Christo-fascist parents. And our guidelines and laws haven’t caught up with this."
- Lord, You warned that persecution would come, that people would hate us because they first hated You. We ask for faith as the world attempts to destroy our children. We ask for the nation and world to experience an awakening far greater than we can comprehend, and a flow of repentance that encompasses the earth.
- “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” (2 Timothy 3:12)

8. Judge Rejected Congressman’s Bid to Shield Emails From DOJ (theepochtimes.com)
A federal judge rejected a U.S. congressman’s bid to shield thousands of records from U.S. authorities investigating potential crimes linked to the 2020 election, according to filings unsealed on Feb. 24.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Beryl Howell said that the U.S. Department of Justice can access 2,055 records from the personal cellphone of Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) in a Dec. 28, 2022 order that was made public on Friday.
Another three records could be accessed partially while Perry properly asserted privilege over 161 other records, Howell, an Obama appointee, ruled.
Perry’s phone was seized by FBI agents in the fall of 2022 after government investigators uncovered evidence that Perry was using his phone to communicate with people allegedly engaged in efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Agents extracted the contents of the phone.
The warrant did not permit a search of the contents, prompting officials to ask for a fresh warrant that would enable a search. After the warrant was approved, Perry asked the court to block investigators’ access to thousands of records, arguing they fell under the Speech or Debate Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
Howell agreed that records integral to Perry’s votes on Jan. 6, 2021, during the certification of electoral votes, were covered by the clause but rejected the position that records covering Perry’s communications as he sought to examine allegations of election fraud were protected.
- Lord, this ruling has to do with Rep Perry’s investigation into allegations of fraud in the 2020 election, and likely should have been protected. We pray Congressman Perry will find You and be granted strength and wisdom. Let no one be able to target him or his family based on any revelations from this ruling. Let Your truth prevail!
- “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

Press In
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 27, 2023
There are many events taking place around us that would be frightening in of themselves—the devastating hurricanes and earthquakes; the threat of terrorism; political disruption; the threat of nuclear war with Islam—just to name a few. Some of this uncertainty has prompted many to ask the age old question, “Does God have a plan for my life?” The answer is yes, yes He does. You should be encouraged because you are born a unique individual who is loved by the Creator of the universe, and He wants to see you experience joy, happiness, love and success. But often the toils of this world bring us down and get in the way.
For example, throughout my life, I have had ups and downs that caused me to question God’s plan for my life. But it was really me that was the question. God knows how you were made as confirmed by Psalm 139:14, “I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well.” Jesus said in Matthew 10:30, “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” And God knows what is best for you and He has in mind the very best for you. Through the Apostle Paul, God tells us in Romans 12:2, “be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Read More

West Virginia officials investigate reports of powder in air
|
|
|
Reports of a powder in the air and on some vehicles in parts of the mid-Atlantic U.S. have prompted an investigation by state environment officials in at least one state.
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is working with state and local agencies to collect and analyze samples of the dust-like substance, which was reported in the state’s Eastern Panhandle, about 100 miles west of Washington, D.C., according to a statement issued Friday.
The agency began investigating after residents reported seeing the substance across multiple counties late Thursday night.
Social media users posted about seeing the powder in the air and on cars on Friday in West Virginia, northern Virginia and Maryland.
The Maryland Department of the Environment acknowledged the reports in a statement, saying the likely explanation was dust from Texas and New Mexico. The agency said a shift in wind has since brought clean air from Canada, and that monitoring systems on Friday recorded good air quality.
There’s no indication the powder is related to the recent toxic train derailment in Ohio, said West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Terry Fletcher, in a phone interview. He said continuous air monitors in the Northern Panhandle haven’t seen any air quality problems from the Feb. 3 crash. (AP) Read more here.

|
- Father God, given the recent disaster that occurred in East Palestine, Ohio, we ask that a more thorough examination of the air quality now over our heads in northern Virginia, and elsewhere, be pursued. We are not content with a simple "cursory" answer like the one given in this report. We ask for truth and justice, in Your name Holy One, amen and amen!

Venice canals run dry amid fears Italy faces another drought
|
|
Weeks of dry winter weather have raised concerns that Italy could face another drought after last summer’s emergency, with the Alps having received less than half of their normal snowfall, according to scientists and environmental groups.
The warning comes as Venice, where flooding is normally the primary concern, faces unusually low tides that are making it impossible for gondolas, water taxis and ambulances to navigate some of its famous canals.
The problems in Venice are being blamed on a combination of factors – the lack of rain, a high pressure system, a full moon and sea currents.
Italian rivers and lakes are suffering from severe lack of water, the Legambiente environmental group said Monday, with attention focused on the north of the country.

'Yahweh Has Really Blessed Me':
Former NFL Star Praises God After Nearly Dying While Saving Kids From Drowning
|
|
Peyton Hillis, a former running back in the NFL, is pointing to God after escaping death while rescuing his children from drowning. The 36-year-old athlete was taken to the hospital in early January in critical condition after rescuing his kids from drowning in the ocean. The incident, ESPN reported, involved two children and two adults. In a statement released this week, Hillis said people’s prayers for him and his children have “made all the difference,” describing the entire ordeal as a “very traumatic” experience for his whole family. “I also want to thank my brave sister, mother, sister-in-law, my kids, and my girlfriend who has saved my life in more ways than one,” he said. “Thank you to the amazing staff at the hospital, Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Y’all were truly amazing and took such great care of me. You made all the difference on my recovery.”
Hillis continued, “But I did want to come on here and show my appreciation for everyone who helped save my life and for all of your prayers and love and support. I left the hospital with no worries and concerns and should make a 100% recovery. I’m a very lucky and blessed man. Yahweh has really blessed me and I am very thankful.” TMZ Sports obtained photos of the drowning rescue as it unfolded. Photos appeared to show Hillis lying on a backboard on the beach, surrounded by lifeguards and paramedics, presumably after he rescued his two kids from the water. Two ambulances and a helicopter arrived at the scene of the incident soon thereafter.
As news of Hillis’ condition spread, families with Shiloh Christian School in Springdale, Arkansas, came together to pray for the former running back, according to KFSM-TV. Hillis volunteered as an assistant coach for the youth football team his son Orry played on. “One of the great things about being a body of believers is relationship and community, and it’s about being not only here to pray for people, but it’s also here, it’s also to be here to support them through times like this,” Bryant Davis, lead coach of the kids’ football program. The King of Love
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words: Henry Baker
Music: Ancient Irish tune
Scripture: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1
Lyrics:
The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never,
I nothing lack if I am His
And He is mine forever.
Where streams of living water flow
My ransomed soul He leadeth,
And where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.
Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought me.
In death’s dark vale I fear no ill
With Thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still,
Thy cross before to guide me.
Thou spread’st a table in my sight;
Thy unction grace bestoweth;
And O what transport of delight
From Thy pure chalice floweth!
And so through all the length of days
Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.
