Pentagon Releases U-2 Pilot’s Photo of Chinese Spy Balloon Before It Was Shot Down
|
|
The Pentagon released a photo of the Chinese spy balloon on Wednesday taken by a U.S. Air Force pilot before it was shot down earlier this month.
The photo of the Chinese spy balloon hovering over the central continental United States was captured by a U-2 pilot on Feb. 3. The image depicts the pilot observing the suspect balloon from above.
The Chinese spy balloon was shot down by the Air Force the next day off the coast of South Carolina. The last of the debris was collected on Feb. 16 by U.S. Navy assets assigned to U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM), which oversees the defense for much of North America.
NORTHCOM said in a statement on Feb. 17 that the debris would be given to the FBI for analysis.
The Biden administration has said it wants to maintain open lines of communication with Beijing even after it announced that the Chinese balloon, which hovered over U.S. airspace for longer than a week, was part of a worldwide surveillance program that impacts more than 40 nations, including Washington’s “closest allies and partners.”
“I expect to be speaking with President Xi, and I hope we are going to get to the bottom of this,” President Joe Biden stated at a Feb. 16 news conference, although he added that he makes “no apologies for taking down that balloon.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

|
- Father, we pray for full transparency from our side regarding this balloon. We pray that the analysis of the contents will reveal the capacity of China's high levels of spying, so that we can be wise in countering and obstructing it. There's no doubt it continues and if it did take place under President Trump and the Generals kept it secret, then we pray that the unobstructed intelligence China has gathered would be uselessly scrambled, unstable and confusing, in Jesus name.
- "For the Lord has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets, And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers." (Isaiah 29:10)

China 'Supplying Lethal Assistance' to Russia
|
|
Author and lawyer Gordon Chang told Newsmax on Friday that China is "supplying lethal assistance" to Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
Chang said on "Wake Up America" that "China has greenlighted this war; it's supported Russia; it's supplying lethal assistance; [and] the Biden administration is not reacting to that."
He added that China "clearly" has provided military aid to Russia: "China is selling drones to Russia's Wagner group, which are used in Ukraine. And we know from the very beginning of this war that China was feeding location data to Russia.
"Ukrainian operators were using Chinese-made drones, China knew the locations where the operators were, told Russia, and they took out the Ukrainians."
Chang said, "That to me is lethal assistance, and that has been reported and nobody's denied that."
He went on to claim that the Biden administration "doesn't want to condemn China," saying, "We can only speculate as to motive, but clearly, Beijing knows what it's doing, it knows the warnings it's hearing from the Biden administration, and it knows the Biden administration is not imposing … so Beijing feels it has a free hand to help Russia." - We pray for strong leadership regarding China's assistance to Russia. We need officials who will hold China accountable for their actions or else China will continue to push the boundaries more and more since we haven't been strong in our actions.

Iran unveils new ‘Paveh’ cruise missile
that can reach Israel
|
|
A senior Iranian general unveiled a new cruise missile with a range of 1,650 km (1,025 miles) that could potentially reach Israel in an interview with state television on Friday, in which he also reiterated Tehran’s desire to kill former US president Donald Trump.
“Our cruise missile with a range of 1,650 km has been added to the missile arsenal of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Amirali Hajizadeh, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps aerospace force according to the Reuters news agency.
The television broadcast what it said was the first footage showing the new Paveh cruise missile, showing the missile launch, then flying low over terrain before hitting a target.
Speaking to State TV on Friday, Hajizadeh also reiterated Iran’s desire to kill Trump and former secretary of state Mike Pompeo for their role in the January 3, 2020, killing of Iran’s Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in an American drone strike in Baghdad.
“God willing, we are looking to kill Trump. Pompeo … and military commanders who issued the order (to kill Soleimani) should be killed,” Hajizadeh said in the television interview. (Read more)

A senior political official stated that the international conference in Aqaba, Jordan, which mainly dealt with the effort to prevent a security escalation ahead of Ramadan, has ended. During it, the heads of the five delegations met with King Abdullah of Jordan, who welcomed the attempt to promote agreements between the parties ahead of Ramadan and Passover.
The participants reached an agreement on the establishment of a joint security committee that will examine the renewal of security coordination and the Palestinian willingness and ability to bear responsibility for the fight against terrorism in the territories of the Palestinian Authority.
It was agreed that the parties will hold another meeting before Ramadan, under the auspices of Egypt, in order to examine the progress in the field of security. It was also agreed to establish a joint civil committee that will work to promote confidence-building economic measures. (Read more)

4. Senior official denies reports Israel to cease settlement construction, counterterror raids - World Israel News
Israeli National Security Council Director Tzachi Hanegbi on Sunday evening dismissed reports of a change in Israeli policy regarding settlement construction following a rare summit in Jordan with Palestinian officials earlier in the day.
Hanegbi also said there would be “no change to the status quo on the Temple Mount,” which is administered by Jordan’s Islamic Waqf.
“Contrary to reports and tweets about the meeting in Jordan, there is no change in Israeli policy. In the coming months, the State of Israel will authorize nine outposts and approve 9,500 new housing units in Judea and Samaria,” he said. (Read more)

1. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin Demands ‘Accountability’ After FBI Memo on ‘Radical-Traditional Catholic Ideology’ - Faithwire.com
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) is calling for accountability after the FBI bureau in Richmond sent out a now-public internal memo seemingly calling some Catholics “violent extremists.” Youngkin was surprised by the memo on “radical-traditional Catholic ideology,” which cited the Southern Poverty Law Center, a left-leaning legal advocacy organization. In a statement shared with CBN’s Faithwire, the governor’s spokesperson, Macaulay Porter, said Youngkin is demanding “full transparency and accountability” from top FBI brass.
“Religious freedom is a foundational tenet of our great nation, and the governor was stunned by the news reports on the FBI memo,” said Porter. “While he is encouraged that the FBI removed the document, he believes there must be full transparency and accountability from FBI leadership as part of the review under way.”
It should be noted the FBI announced it was rescinding the Richmond-based memo after whistleblower Kyle Seraphin published it on UncoverDC.com Feb. 8. The bureau’s national office said the memo “does not meet the exacting standards of the FBI” and vowed to “conduct a review of the basis for the document.”
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares sent his own letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland on Feb. 10, according to WRIC-TV. In a press release, Miyares said, “Virginia is the birthplace of religious freedom and has a long history of protecting the inalienable right to live your faith free from government interference or intimidation. Virginians should not and will not be labeled ‘violent extremists’ by their government because of how they worship, or because of their beliefs.” (Read more)

Speaker McCarthy here. I don't have long - but this is incredibly important. I just got word that Democrats are introducing a bill to make the Ultra-Liberal Washington D.C. a state! The FAR-LEFT district would give Democrats two more leftists senators they would use to TRANSFORM America beyond recognition...
They know they can't win on the issues, so Democrats want to change the rules and GRAB MORE POWER by any means necessary.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS THAT WE STOP THIS RADICAL POWER-GRAB
Nothing else matters if Democrats get away with this!

3. Biden Administration to Rescind Part of Religious Freedom Rule - Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation
The Education Department wants to roll back part of the so-called free inquiry rule, which required public colleges and universities to uphold the First Amendment, among other provisions. However, the department says it isn’t changing the actual requirements of the First Amendment in higher education.
In particular, the department is proposing to eliminate the section that barred higher education institutions from denying faith-based student organizations any rights, benefits and privileges afforded to nonreligious student groups because of their “beliefs, practices, policies, speech, membership standards or leadership standards.” Colleges found in violation of that prohibition would lose access to grant programs administered directly by the department and indirectly through the states—but not federal financial aid.
Critics have said that the regulations could be interpreted as requiring higher education institutions to allow religious student groups to discriminate against vulnerable and marginalized students, such as LGBTQ students, while proponents said the rule provides needed protections. The Trump administration, which issued the final rule in September 2020, said the rule would ensure that religious organizations as well as their student members fully retain their right to free exercise of religion. 4. Class-Action Lawsuit Filed By Residents Against Norfolk Southern - Daily Wire
A class-action lawsuit has been filed against the Norfolk Southern Railway Co. on behalf of all residents within 30 miles of the site in East Palestine, Ohio, where a train derailment occurred earlier this month, prompting a “controlled burn” of thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals.
Johnson and Johnson has joined with class-action law firm Hagens Berman to claim that the legal doctrine of “public nuisance” applies in the case of the train’s derailment on February 3. The federal Environmental Protection Agency has already ordered the railroad to pay for cleanup, which some estimates say could cost up $1 billion. But residents in the area are afraid the toxins, including thousands of gallons of vinyl chloride, have polluted the air and water around them.
“All of our lawsuit’s proposed benefits would be above and beyond what the EPA would have for residents,” Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman told The Hill. “Additionally, we will want a say in what an effective cleanup is.” (Read more)

|
- We pray this cleanup will be scheduled quickly and urgently, and measures taken to protect the residents who live there. May all politics be put aside and actions taken to help these people.

5. Russia launches rescue ship to save NASA astronaut, two cosmonauts after spacecraft leak - Just the News
Russia has launched an unmanned rescue craft toward the International Space Station to rescue two cosmonauts and a NASA astronaut who are stranded aboard.
NASA astronaut Frank Rubio and Russian cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin have been stuck on the station since December after a micrometeorite impacted the external radiator of their spacecraft and caused a leak, according to The Hill.
The Soyuz capsule launched from Kazakhstan filled with supplies for the three spacemen. It is expected to dock with the station on Sunday. NASA observers were present at the launch in a rare instance of Russo-American cooperation amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. (Read more)

6. Russia says it will play by nuclear treaty rules despite suspending deal with U.S. - Reuters
Russia will stick to agreed limits on nuclear missiles and keep informing the United States about changes in its deployments, a senior defence official said on Wednesday, despite the suspension of its last remaining arms control treaty with Washington.
Both chambers of Russia's parliament voted quickly in favour of suspending Moscow's participation in the New START treaty, rubber-stamping a decision that President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday when he accused the West of trying to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia in Ukraine.
But a top defence ministry official, Major-General Yevgeny Ilyin, told the lower house, or Duma, that Russia would continue to observe agreed restrictions on nuclear delivery systems - meaning missiles and strategic bomber planes. (Read more)

- We pray our Government officials will use extreme caution with Russia's statement regarding playing by nuclear treaty rules. Russia is talking out of both sides of their mouth. They are not to be trusted.

7. Turkey begins to rebuild for 1.5 million left homeless by earthquakes - Reuters
Turkey has begun work to rebuild homes following this month's devastating earthquakes, a government official said on Friday, as the combined death toll in Turkey and Syria surpassed 50,000. More than 160,000 buildings containing 520,000 apartments collapsed or were severely damaged in the Feb. 6 earthquakes that killed tens of thousands in Turkey and neighbouring Syria.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced the death toll in Turkey due to earthquakes rose to 44,218 on Friday night.
With Syria's latest announced death toll of 5,914, the combined death toll in the two countries rose to above 50,000.
Facing an election within months, President Tayyip Erdogan has pledged to rebuild homes within a year, although experts have said the authorities should put safety before speed. Some buildings that were meant to withstand tremors crumbled in the latest earthquakes.
The UNDP said it estimated that the destruction has left 1.5 million people homeless, with 500,000 new homes needed. (Read more)

- We pray for the people in Turkey and Syria. Provide them homes to live in while the new construction is estimated to take a year. May they build back homes to withstand tremors.
- "Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 40:4-5)

8. External backers pour billions into Ukraine to counter war damage - Reuters
Pictures of devastation in Ukraine following Russia's invasion have sparked urgent questions over how its reconstruction can be paid for. But before they can even begin to be answered, Kyiv is seeking billions just to ride out this year. After a 30% contraction in its economy in 2022, Ukraine will need $38 billion by the end of year to cover its budget deficit alone.
"We need these funds for critical costs: funding of salaries and pensions, education and medicine," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told a recent government meeting. "For economic stability and a successful fight against the enemy, Ukraine needs more help."
On top of that, Kyiv has said it will need $17 billion this year for urgent energy repairs and de-mining, and rebuilding some of its critical infrastructure.
The European Union is expected to provide the lion's share of funds, at $18 billion, to cover the budget deficit. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stepped up calls on Thursday for increased financial support to Ukraine as the United States readies an additional $10 billion in economic assistance. (Read more)

|
- We pray supernatural provision for these needs in Ukraine. May help come from every nation who supports Ukraine and its fight against Russia. May the United States use wisdom in its support, and not neglect the needs at home such as border control, and the disasters in Ohio.
- "Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?" (Job 38:41)

Action Alert: Defund the World Health Organization
Released by Tony Perkins; Family Research Council
February 25th, 2023
|
|
This week the World Health Organization (WHO) is meeting in Switzerland to advance a legally binding international accord on "pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response." The Biden administration has been working with the WHO on this deal which would hand over public health policy to an unaccountable, unelected, and incompetent international bureaucracy.
This is cause for alarm. The agreement is being called an accord, even though it could have the effect of a treaty. The global bureaucrats realize two-thirds of the U.S. Senate would not approve the agreement. Thankfully, Congress can still act.
The American people didn't elect a federal government so that they might hand over our nation's sovereignty to the WHO. This is why we're urging people to take action, we want our allies in Congress to understand the American people are awake to this attempt to circumvent the constitution.
Given the WHO's inept response to the COVID-19 pandemic it is hard to imagine why anyone would think giving them more authority to direct global public health policy is a good idea, we certainly don't. Without Congress having a direct way to vote for or against this treaty, we need to find another way to pressure the administration to ditch this horrible deal: defund the WHO.
The United States has funded the WHO for years. Just last year Congress awarded the WHO $434 million in taxpayer funding, despite the WHO's commitment to abortion and gender ideology. Just as we shouldn't be handing our taxpayer dollars to international organizations that support abortion and gender ideology, we shouldn't allow unelected and unaccountable international organizations--like the WHO--to usurp our national sovereignty.

Webb telescope just found massive objects that shouldn't exist in deep space
|
|
Scientists expected the James Webb Space Telescope to reveal unknowns in the deepest realms of space.
But they certainly didn't anticipate this.
While scanning a region of the cosmos near the Big Dipper, a group of astronomers identified six faint objects as they appeared well over 13 billion years ago. They suspect the objects are ancient galaxies. Scientists expect such early collections of stars and swirling matter to be relatively small. After all, such galaxies hadn't had much time to form or grow. But these galaxies are giants, the researchers report.
"It’s bananas," Erica Nelson, an astrophysicist at CU Boulder who worked on the new research, said in a statement.
It's bananas because the objects, which are "red and bright" in the Webb observations, might host billions of stars (and many more planets), similar to our Milky Way galaxy. These galaxies formed some 500 to 700 million years after the universe was created during the Big Bang, and at such a time there simply shouldn't have been enough matter around to create fantastic bursts of stars and solar systems, Nelson explained.
The extremely distant galaxies are the fuzzy red objects shown below. They're red because the universe is expanding, and the light traveling through it becomes stretched out, ultimately shifting to longer, redder wavelengths. Importantly, the research about these galaxies is just beginning. There is potential, for example, that some of these bright red masses are a different kind of primordial object, like a quasar (intensely hot, energetic matter spinning around a black hole and emitting tremendous amounts of light into space). As 'Jesus Revolution' Hits Theaters, Producer Tells of 'Miracle After Miracle'
|
|
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The 1970s saw people traveling to southern California looking for truth. Then something extraordinary happened: the pastor of a struggling church opened his doors to a charismatic street preacher and a steady stream of young people. It gave birth to one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in American history. That story is now a major motion picture.
Jon Erwin is one half of the filmmaking duo The Erwin Brothers. Jon and Andrew are the team that delivered the hits I Can Only Imagine, Woodlawn, October Baby, and Mom's Night Out." But it's taken Jon seven years to bring a more than 50-year-old story to screen in his latest film Jesus Revolution. "This project has taken many twists and turns. It's the longest I've ever worked on a movie," Jon told CBN News' Studio 5.
"My hope is people enjoy the movie. And we want to make you laugh and cry. But there really is a movement behind this movie." The historic Jesus Movement began on the West Coast and spread. The Christian revival saw young people, often called hippies, turning to Christ. The revival that unfolded in Southern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s is what Time Magazine called "The Jesus Revolution." (CBN) Read More

Abba, we praise You for perfect timing in releasing "Jesus Revolution" at the same moment revival is hitting college campuses. Your plan is always magnificent and better than we could ever imagine! We declare that repentant hearts will be touched and revival will continue spreading like wild-fire throughout our nation! In Jesus mighty name-Amen

All the Way my Savior Leads Me
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words: Fanny Crosby
Music: Robert Lowry
Scripture: The Lamb…will lead them to springs of living water. Revelation 7:17
Lyrics:
All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.
All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way.
