Pastor Gears Up For Potentially Historic Nationwide Baptism Event: ‘God Can Do Anything’
A California pastor is on a mission to hold the biggest mass baptism in world history. Mark Francey of Oceans Church in San Juan Capistrano, California, is gearing up for Baptize America, a one-day event June 8 he hopes will become the “world’s largest synchronized water baptism.” It’s an ambitious effort that follows two previous events: Baptize SoCal and Baptize California. The former, held in 2023, saw nearly 4,200 baptisms, while the latter, which unfolded last year, saw more than 12,200 people be immersed.

Now, Francey wants to up the ante and take these local and state events national. “We’re going to launch a nationwide movement,” Francey said. “We just believe that if God could do it here in California, He can certainly do it in Tennessee, or Florida, or some of the other great states.” He continued, “We’re gearing up. We’re really, really excited for what God’s doing with this baptism movement.” Francey is working across denominations and “boundaries” to unite Christians on one of the main elements on which the vast majority of Bible believers agree: baptism. “I think that baptism could be a catalytic thing that we can all rally around, get excited about to mobilize the church to work together,” he said

- Father God, we ask for unity in the Body and Your Will to be done on June 8th during the Baptize America initiative. We pray for Your wisdom in direction and planning as this spreads across state-lines. We ask You to prepare hearts for this day, hand-selecting each individual that will attend this nation-wide movement. Bring genuine repentance among generations and true Holy Spirit conviction, causing a harvest of new believers to surrender their lives to Christ and be baptized for the Glory of God! In Jesus Name- Amen.

- "And now what are your waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name." (Acts 22:16)

Dan Bongino to Serve as FBI Deputy Director

Dan Bongino, a conservative commentator and former Secret Service agent, has been named the next deputy director of the FBI.

FBI Director Kash Patel selected Bongino for the position, President Donald Trump said in a social media post. The position does not require Senate confirmation.

In a post on Truth Social announcing Bongino’s appointment, Trump described him as “a man of incredible love and passion” for the country. Bongino currently hosts The Dan Bongino Show, one of the biggest political podcasts in the United States.

“Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice!” Trump stated, adding that the podcaster is “willing and prepared to give up” his show to take on the new role.

Trump praised Bongino’s family in another post, stating: “Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad.”

Following the announcement, Bongino took to social media platform X to express gratitude to both Trump and Patel, as well as U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, for giving him the role. The FBI is part of the Department of Justice, which is now led by Bondi. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God,we praise and worship you for this appointment. We cover Dan Bongino and his family right now in the blood of Jesus that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, in Jesus name. We pray Lord that Dan Bongino would handle this position with the utmost integrity. We know that the pressures to compromise will be great, but Lord, encourage Dan, help him turn to you to find strength to do what is right in the mist of adversity. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4)

Trump's new SBA chief unleashes 'Day One' priorities to transform agency into 'golden era of prosperity'
Kelly Loeffler was confirmed as the head of the Small Business Administration last week

Newly-confirmed Small Business Administration (SBA) administrator Kelly Loeffler is unveiling the agency's top priorities over the next four years as she aims to work with President Trump to create a "golden era of prosperity and growth."

Loeffler, confirmed in the Senate by a 52–46 margin last week, issued a "Day One" memo on Monday outlining the top priorities for the agency that will be tasked with the directive to "carry out President Trump’s America First agenda and empower small businesses to thrive" and to become an "America First engine for free enterprise."

The first priority on the list is promoting a "Made in America" agenda to boost U.S. manufacturing.

"The vast majority of America’s manufacturers are small businesses, and SBA programs have powered tens of thousands of them," the memo states. "This agency is committed to supporting the America First agenda by rebuilding American supply chains and investing in manufacturing to strengthen our economy and national security."

"The agency will transform its Office of International Trade into the ‘Office of Manufacturing and Trade’ – which will focus on promoting economic independence, job creation, and fair trade practices to power the next blue-collar boom. SBA will also partner across agencies to scale innovative manufacturing and technology startups that will help our nation return to ‘Made in America.’"

Since being sworn in as president for the second time, Trump has been vocal about eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) from the federal government while also tasking Tesla CEO Elon Musk with leading the effort to cut wasteful spending with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Loeffler's memo states that the SBA intends to be an ally in both of those efforts and says it will enforce Trump's executive orders, including "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government," "Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing," and "Unleashing American Energy." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord we pray for the new chief of the SBA that you would give her wisdom, discernment, and guidance on how to make the best responsible choices for small businesses. We pray for full restoration and recompense for all that was lost and stolen by Ineffective leadership from entrepreneurs and small businesses during these past four years. We believe you, Lord, that America will see prosperity again and that innovation and entrepreneurship would thrive once again in our nation, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today." (Deuteronomy 8:18)

Rubio: Palestinian terrorists must free all hostages or be destroyed

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanded on Saturday that Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip immediately free all remaining hostages, or else be eradicated.

“Hamas’s treatment of hostages, including its brutal murder of the Bibas family, further illustrates their savagery and is yet another reason why we are saying these terrorists must release all of the hostages immediately or be destroyed,” tweeted Rubio.

The Islamist terrorist group sparked outrage after handing over the wrong body for Shiri Bibas on Thursday. The bodies of her two sons, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, along with that of Oded Lifshitz, were confirmed to be theirs.

Following the outrage, on Friday night Hamas returned a second body to the Red Cross, which in turn delivered it to Israel for identification.

On Saturday, the National Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir in Tel Aviv positively identified the remains as being those of Shiri.

“We share in the deep sorrow of the Bibas family and embrace them warmly. We will never forget and never forgive,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday night.

“So far, we have brought back 192 hostages—of them 147 alive and 45 deceased,” he said. “Hamas still holds 63 hostages. The Israeli government remains committed to acting decisively to bring all our hostages home—the living back to their families and the fallen to a proper burial in their homeland.”(JNS.org) Read more here.

- Lord, we continue to pray for the hostages that remain and we pray for their imminent release right now in Jesus' name. We pray that there will be no more delay in their release. We come against whatever the holdup is right now and break its power in Jesus' name. We continue to pray for all of these hostages -- the ones that haven’t been released and the ones that have been released, in your name. We pray that you would touch them, give them dreams and visions of you and that they would find healing and restoration in knowing you. In Your Name, Abba, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- “The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me because Yahweh has anointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives, “You are free,” and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.”” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

May the Lord cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, blessed be He, protect and deliver our soldiers from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in all the work of their hands. May He subdue our enemies beneath them and crown them with salvation and victory. 1. Outgoing IDF chief warns against ‘rushing forward without discernment’ - Times of Israel

Speaking at a ceremony earlier today, outgoing IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi tells graduating cadets that rushing forward with no plan will not bring success, in apparent veiled criticism aimed at some in Israel’s political leadership.

“The way to bring about achievements, especially in a war, is not to gallop like unbridled horses, rushing forward without discernment and without a precise goal,” Halevi says.

“Anyone who thinks that the sole purpose of a combat commander is to gallop forward will have to bear the consequences and be responsible for the consequences,” he says.

2. Israel said to offer to free prisoners if Hamas returns 4 bodies without ceremony -Times of Israel

Israel reportedly told mediating countries Monday that it was willing to release the 602 prisoners who were meant to go free two days earlier if Hamas immediately returned the bodies of four hostages it was supposed to release later in the week, the Ynet news site reported, citing an Israeli official.

Israel demanded that Hamas return the dead captives without performing a ceremony with the coffins, as it did last week with the bodies of the Bibas family and Oded Lifshitz, all of whom Israel has determined were murdered in captivity.

A fragile, complex ceasefire agreement between the two sides involves Hamas releasing batches of hostages, alive and dead, in return for Israel freeing hundreds of security prisoners it has incarcerated, many of whom are serving life sentences for terror offenses. (Read more)

3. EU and Israel Resume Dialogue With Focus on Gaza’s Future - Algemeiner

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar called for a constructive dialogue but braced for criticism from some European countries as he arrived for talks on Monday in Brussels.

The Israeli minister is meeting senior European officials, reviving a dialogue with the European Union as the bloc considers a role in the reconstruction of Gaza following last month’s fragile ceasefire deal.

“I’m looking for a constructive dialogue, an open and honest one, and I believe that this is what it will be,” Saar told reporters on arrival.

“We know how to face criticism,” he said, adding “it’s okay as long as criticism is not connected to delegitimization, demonization, or double standards … but we are ready to discuss everything with an open mind.”

Saar will co-chair a meeting of the EU–Israel Association Council with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas in the first such session since 2022. Talks are set to focus on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Israeli-Palestinian relations, and changing regional dynamics. (Read more)

A terrorist rocket that was fired toward Israeli territory fell short and struck inside the Gaza Strip on Monday afternoon, the Israel Defense Forces said.

“The details are under investigation,” the military statement added.

According to reports in Palestinian media, the projectile was launched from the city of Rafah, located in the southernmost part of the Strip.

On Feb. 13, a 14-year-old Palestinian was killed in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip when a terrorist rocket fell short inside the coastal enclave. (Read more)

5. IDF operating ‘day and night’ to destroy arms in Syria - JNS

Israeli troops deployed to the buffer zone with Syria continue to destroy weapons belonging to the former Assad regime that “pose a danger to the security of the State of Israel and our forces,” the army said on Monday.

Soldiers from the 474th Golan Regional Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces 210th “Bashan” Division carried out “dozens of targeted raids in which they located, confiscated and destroyed a variety of weapons,” the IDF said.

“We are conducting operations day and night,” 474th Brigade battalion commander Lt. Col. H. said in remarks published by the military. “In an activity we conducted tonight, we found weapons inside one of the houses, and this is connected to a series of operations in which we also found missiles, explosives and mines, as well as explosive devices, tanks and armored personnel carriers, which we also blew up and destroyed. 1.  Zelensky Praises ‘Productive Meeting’ with Trump Envoy Keith Kellogg - Breitbart

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday he had a “productive meeting” with retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who was acting as President Donald Trump’s envoy for Ukraine and Russia.

The upbeat meeting seemed to scale back a growing confrontation between Zelensky and Trump over bilateral U.S. peace negotiations with Russia.

“I had a productive meeting with Special Envoy Kellogg – a good discussion, many important details. I am grateful to the United States for all the assistance and bipartisan support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people,” Zelensky said on social media Thursday afternoon.

“It’s important for us – and for the entire free world – that American strength is felt,” the Ukrainian president said.

“We had a detailed conversation about the battlefield situation, how to return our prisoners of war, and effective security guarantees,” he said. (Read more)

2. White House and Ukraine nearing rare earths deal that would tighten relationship, AP source says - Breitbart

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House and Ukraine have made significant progress toward reaching an agreement that would provide the U.S. with access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals and tighten the long-term relationship between Kyiv and Washington, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The progress in talks comes after President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traded sharp rhetoric this week about their differences over the matter.

Zelenskyy said he balked at signing off on a deal that U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pushed during a visit to Kyiv last week, and the Ukrainian leader objected again days later during a meeting in Munich with Vice President JD Vance because the American proposal did not include security guarantees.

Trump earlier Friday renewed his criticism of Zelenskyy’s handling of the three-year war and accused the Ukrainians of wasting Bessent’s time.

But the two sides made significant progress during a three-day visit to Ukraine this week by retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine and Russia, according to the person familiar with the ongoing negotiations who was not authorized to comment publicly.

While the Ukrainians were rattled by Trump, the still-not-completed agreement came into focus over three days of meetings in Ukraine between Kellogg and Zelenskyy and other top-ranking Ukrainian officials, the person said. (Read more)

3. Top immigration enforcement official reassigned amid frustrations over mass deportation effort - Breitbart

The top official in charge of carrying out President Donald Trump’s mass deportations agenda has been reassigned amid concerns that the deportation effort isn’t moving fast enough.

Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement Friday that Caleb Vitello, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, was “no longer in an administrative role, but is instead overseeing all field and enforcement operations: finding, arresting, and deporting illegal aliens, which is a major priority of the President and Secretary (Kristi) Noem.”

The statement made no mention of why Vitello, a career ICE official with more than two decades on the job, was reassigned or who his replacement will be. White House officials have expressed frustration with the pace of deportations of people in the country illegally. (Read more)

4.  Homan: Reassigned Acting ICE Director Will Now Focus on Interior Alone, Arrests Will Go Up - Breitbart

On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Border Czar Tom Homan stated that Caleb Vitello’s reassignment from his position as acting ICE Director is to a position that is at a lower level, but where he’ll be solely focused on interior enforcement and that while he is happy with the current immigration arrest numbers, they need to increase and they will.

Homan said he’s pleased with the immigration arrest numbers, but they need to go up and there needs to be “better targeting, more targeting. And sanctuary cities are a problem.” And that targeting is increasing and they’re suing sanctuary cities so the arrest numbers will increase. (Read more)

- We pray for this new focus by this director, and we pray the sanctuary cities will comply and get in line with the new policies of this new administration.

5.  Lawsuit: NYC Sues Donald Trump for Reclaiming $80 Million in Migrant Funding - Breitbart

New York City is suing President Donald Trump’s administration over millions of dollars linked to sheltering the city’s migrants.

The argument in the lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, says the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved and paid out the approximately $80 million, but the funds were later removed from a city bank account, Fox News reported on Saturday.

In the list of defendants, the lawsuit names Trump, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, per NBC New York:

“On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 4:03 pm, the long arm of the federal government reached into a central bank account of the City of New York (the “City”) and grabbed $80,481,86L.42 [sic]. It took these funds from the City without any advance notice that it would be doing so and without communicating any decision or rationale to the City,” the suit states.

The lawsuit alleges Trump is “responsible for the actions and decisions” and is being sued in his official capacity as president.

6. AP Sues Trump Admin Officials Over Limited Access to Oval Office - Breitbart

The Associated Press (AP) filed a lawsuit against three Trump administration officials after the news media outlet received limited access to cover the Oval Office, Air Force One, and other presidential events after it refused to use “Gulf of America” in its writing style.

In a lawsuit filed against White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich, and White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles, the AP argued that the ban from the Trump administration “violates the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution” and that it violated “the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

“The White House has ordered The Associated Press to use certain words in its coverage or else face an indefinite denial of access,” the complaint from the news outlet said. “The press and all people in the United States have the right to choose their own words and not be retaliated against by the government. The Constitution does not allow the government to control speech. Allowing such government control and retaliation to stand is a threat to every American’s freedom.” (Read more)

Of Idioms and Practicality in Transforming Your Life

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 24, 2025

Over the years, there have been many interpretations of Biblical sayings such as “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” or “turn the other cheek.” We get confused with these types of maxims as to what they really mean. Sometimes, people get into heated arguments over them. An idiom is a literary feature understood by the people of that time, and is an exaggeration to make a point. In present day society, we often have a difficult time interpreting that kind of thinking. For example, how do you fit a camel through the eye of the needle? That would literally mean that no wealthy person could get into heaven, but that’s not what it really means. Don’t misinterpret scripture for lack of understanding the idiom.

Our understanding can begin in Exodus 21:1-24:18. Moses receives the remainder of the instructions on civil laws for the Israelite people from the LORD on the mountain. According to the Jewish sages, this portion contains 53 of the 613 commandments set forth by God to teach his set apart people how to live righteously. The laws arbitrate between man and his fellow man—cases of personal injury and fair restitution for loss of time from work, loss of possessions, pain, etc. The idiom, ‘life for life’ is rightly interpreted that the person causing the financial burden, was responsible, not that he forfeits his life. However, murder is one place where the literal life for life applies. Read More

White House Officials Tell Employees To Ignore Musk Directive Over National Security Concerns

Senior White House officials are rebutting ‘s recent order which instructed federal employees to justify their positions by reporting “what they got done last week.”

The email informed federal workers to respond to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) by 11:59 p.m. EST Monday. However, a growing list of agencies, including the , , State Department and intelligence community, on Sunday had told their employees to hold off.

The Department of Defense shared a message to its employees on X, noting it is responsible for reviewing employee performance.

“When and if required, the Department will coordinate responses to the email you have received from OPM. For now, please pause any response to the OPM email titled ‘What did you do last week,’” Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Darin Selnick said in a statement.

FBI Director Kash Patel also told employees to hold off on responding to the email.

“FBI personnel may have received an email from OPM requesting information,” Patel wrote in his message. “The FBI, through the Office of the Director, is in charge of all of our review processes, and will conduct reviews in accordance with FBI procedures.”

“When and if further information is required, we will coordinate the responses,” Patel continued. “For now, please pause any responses.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard sent similar guidance to employees of agencies she oversees in the intelligence community (I.C.).(American Liberty News) Read more here.

Thank You, O Lord, for the actions taken by those whose names are listed in this report. Bless each one with Your wisdom, we pray, amen and amen.

Trump meets France's Macron at White House
Says 'lot of progress' made toward ending war in Ukraine

Trump says 'President Macron is a very special man in my book'

President Donald Trump said "a lot of progress has been made" toward ending the war in Ukraine after French President Emmanuel Macron joined him at the White House for a call with Group of Seven (G7) leaders.

Macron, who called for an emergency gathering of world leaders after the Trump administration excluded Europe from sitting at the negotiating table to settle the war between Ukraine and Russia, is in Washington, D.C., Monday to meet with Trump.

Macron first arrived at the White House around 8 a.m. local time and was inside for several hours. While he was leaving, Macron was seen giving a thumbs up to reporters and said the phone call with the G7 leaders was "perfect."

"President Macron is a very special man in my book," Trump later told reporters while sitting next to the French president. "We were together. We did it together. And I think a lot of progress has been made. We've had some very good talks with Russia. We've had some very good talks with others and we're trying to get the war ended with Russia and Ukraine."

"And we were also talking about trade, various trade deals that we will be doing with France," Trump continued. "And again, the relationships have been very special with France and very special with this gentleman on my right. And we look forward to keeping that going for a long period of time."

Macron added that "we do share the objective of peace" in Ukraine, "but we are very aware of the necessity to have guarantees and solid peace in order to stabilize the situation."

"And we are personal friends, as you mentioned it, because we work very well together," Macron said about Trump. "And I think the U.S. and France always stands on the same side – the right side, I would say of history. And this is exactly what's at stake today.

Macron also said "this is a very important moment for Europe as well."

"And, I'm here as well, after discussions with all my colleagues to say that Europe is willing to step up to be a stronger partner, to do more in defense and security for this continent, and as well to be a reliable partner and to be engaged in trade, economy, investment." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that these talks between our President and French President Macron went so well yesterday. We ask that Your hand of blessing would continue to rest upon this relationship, as each nation seeks to strengthen our alliance for the good of our people. Let America and France continue to shine the light of freedom in a dark world, and let these negotiations lead to a peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine. In Your Name, O Lord, we ask this prayer, amen and amen.

Exoplanet with iron rain has violent winds 'like something out of science fiction'
"Even the strongest hurricanes in the solar system seem calm in comparison."

WASP-121 b is the definition of an "extreme" exoplanet — it's so hot that it rains droplets of liquid iron. Now, astronomers have discovered that this planet, located around 900 light-years away from us, is also ravaged by unexpectedly powerful winds.

This represents the first time astronomers have been able to study the atmosphere of a planet outside the solar system in such intricate depth and detail.

The WASP-121 b winds, discovered by a team of astronomers using the Very Large Telescope (VLT) located in the Atacama Desert region of northern Chile, carry elements like iron and titanium around the planet, therefore creating intricate weather patterns.

"This planet’s atmosphere behaves in ways that challenge our understanding of how weather works — not just on Earth, but on all planets," team leader and Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur researcher Julia Victoria Seidel said in a statement. "It feels like something out of science fiction."

An extreme world

Many of the extraordinary features of WASP-121 b arise from the fact that it is an ultra-hot Jupiter, a gas giant planet with around 1.2 times the mass of its solar system namesake. WASP-121 b actually orbits so close to its star that a year there lasts just 30 Earth hours. Read More
