This Man Spreads Faith and Fellowship with Snowsports and Donuts

In the snowy hills of southwestern Pennsylvania, ministry is breaking free from tradition, embracing the thrill of snow sports while transforming lives. Josh Knipple, a youth minister and ski shop professional, is using his passion for skiing and snowboarding to spread faith as part of Snowboarders and Skiers for Christ (SFC). For Josh, the mountains are more than just a playground—they're a sanctuary. "You have that peace when you're out here on the mountain—you get away from the noise of life, get away from busyness," Josh says. "A lot of days, I'll come out here and spend time in prayer, just ride up the lift."
Each snowfall calls Josh and his family of six to the slopes, where they turn the mountains into both a place of fellowship and adventure. Balancing the demands of raising four children, serving as a youth minister, writing children's books, and working at a ski shop, Josh sees each role as an opportunity to shine as a beacon of light on every mountain he conquers. But for him, this isn't just about adventure—it's a calling. "What do you think Jesus did? He spent time with people. He built relationships with them, ate with them, drank with them… that's ministry," Josh explains. Christian ministries reaching out to the snow sports community are part of a growing movement. DOGE says it found nearly untraceable budget line item responsible for $4.7T in payments

The Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) discovered an identification code linking U.S. Treasury payments to a budget line item, which accounts for nearly $4.7 trillion in payments which was oftentimes left blank.
"The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process)," DOGE wrote in a post on X. "In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going."
The agency thanked the U.S. Treasury for their work in identifying the optional field.
According to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, which is under the Treasury, TAS codes are used to describe any one of the account identification codes assigned by the Treasury and is also referred to as the "account."
All financial transactions made by the federal government are classified by TAS when reporting to the Treasury and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
The discovery was announced on the same day DOGE appeared to have populated the DOGE.gov Savings page, which, as of Monday evening, said the total estimated savings since the establishment of the department total about $55 billion. (Fox News) Read more here.

Abba, we give You praise and thanksgiving for the work that DOGE is doing to save We The People millions of dollars through putting an end to wasteful and fraudulent spending by our out of control government. We give You praise that President Trump has entrusted Elon Musk to do this job ethically and with transparency. We ask that Mr. Musk would complete this job with such transparency that all those who are concerned about his access to private information will have all of their concerns proven to be baseless. Father God, we ask You to guide and direct the DOGE team into the areas of each agency that need to be "trimmed down", that need to be redesigned to be better aligned with President Trump's vision for our country, that need to be "rethought". Judge denies Democrat-led effort to block DOGE access, citing lack of proven harm

A federal judge on Tuesday declined to block Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency from accessing government data or firing federal employees.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan declined to grant the plaintiffs' request to issue a temporary restraining order, citing what she said was their failure to demonstrate evidence of "irreparable harm" caused by DOGE's access.
"Plaintiffs legitimately call into question what appears to be the unchecked authority of an unelected individual and an entity that was not created by Congress and over which it has no oversight," Chutkan, an Obama appointee, said Tuesday.
"In these circumstances, it must be indisputable that this court acts within the bounds of its authority. Accordingly, it cannot issue a TRO, especially one as wide-ranging as Plaintiffs request, without clear evidence of imminent, irreparable harm to these Plaintiffs. President Trump has said these audits would be completed with great transparency, we ask that Holy Spirit guide and direct Mr. Musk and his entire team to work within that framework, a framework that will allow for answers to be readily available once the audits are complete. We ask You to give this team great wisdom and knowledge as they do their jobs, give them eyes to see what You see and thoughts to know what You know. Musk Mulls Sending All Americans $5,000 Checks Using DOGE Savings

Billionaire DOGE head Elon Musk said on X, formerly known as Twitter, he would ask President Donald Trump about a proposal for a “DOGE Dividend” that would give taxpayers a refund check of $5,000 funded by the savings from his Department of Government Efficiency.
DOGE has drawn widespread controversy and criticism as Musk—who has been unofficially leading the agency—and his team have been quickly working to reduce costs through cancelling grants and contracts and reducing the federal workforce. DOGE has received blowback for its seemingly unrestricted access to sensitive federal data across departments including the Treasury Department and Education Department. It’s not clear what authority DOGE has to be handling sensitive data, and the agency and Musk are facing a number of lawsuits seeking to answer that and restrict access. DOGE was created by executive order on Trump’s first day back in office last month, and the order declared its purpose was “to implement the President’s DOGE Agenda, by modernizing Federal technology and software to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity.”

James Fishback, CEO of investment firm Azoria and reportedly an outside adviser to DOGE, pitched the idea of “a tax refund check to be sent after the expiration of DOGE in July 2026 funded exclusively with a portion of the total savings delivered by DOGE” on social media on Friday, and continued posting about it Tuesday, tagging Musk in a tweet about the proposal.
The proposal calls for 20% of DOGE’s targeted $2 trillion in savings to be returned to “the ~79 million tax-paying households,” which Fishback said would result in about a $5,000 return per household.

Abba, the concept that DOGE has found enough money to use only 20% of those funds to pay each taxpayer $5000 is outrageous, Father, we ask that when all of this auditing is complete, those whose job it was to make funding decisions be held accountable by requiring them to explain why they thought it was a good financial decision for our nation, and what was the return on that investment. Jesus, thank You for putting President Trump back in office. Thank You that You have given him a mantle of both power and authority to govern and guide this nation through the maze of finding our way back to freedom. 1. Fights between PM, his negotiating team over ‘credit’ for speeding up hostage exchange - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of his hostage negotiation team jousted on Wednesday behind anonymous statements over “credit” for the expected release of six hostages on Saturday as well as four hostage bodies on Thursday, a jump from the three hostages originally planned for Saturday.
The fighting might have started with anonymous defense sources, clearly associated with some portion of the IDF, Mossad, and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and hostage negotiation team, alternately taking credit for the progress or giving the credit to Hamas, saying the terror group realized it must show flexibility to corner Netanyahu into taking the phase two ceasefire and hostage negotiations more seriously.
“Hamas initiated the move to ensure it received the compensation – terrorist prisoners and humanitarian aid – and did not want to risk the collapse of the agreement,” said the sources. (Read more)

2. Hamas proposes all-in-all hostage release for permanent Gaza ceasefire

Hamas has declared itself "ready" on Tuesday to proceed with a mass release of all remaining hostages as part of the second phase of negotiations, in exchange for a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem specified that any demand aiming to remove Hamas from Gaza or to disarm it would be "unacceptable."
This statement comes as six hostages are expected to be released on Saturday as part of the first phase of the agreement, and negotiations for the second phase are expected to begin soon, under the auspices of American, Egyptian, and Qatari mediators. (Read more)

“Tomorrow will be a very difficult day for the State of Israel. A wrenching day, a day of grief. We are bringing home four of our beloved hostages, deceased,” Netanyahu said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Israeli premier’s comments came one day after his office confirmed that “four slain hostages” would be released on Thursday, followed by “six living hostages” on Saturday as part of the Jewish state’s ceasefire with Hamas that has halted the war in Gaza.
“We embrace the families, and the heart of the entire nation is torn. My own heart is torn. So is yours. 4. Suspected terror attack: Woman attacked with ax in Jerusalem's Old City

A woman of about 50 was moderately wounded on Wednesday evening on Or Hahaim Street in the Old City of Jerusalem when she was attacked by a man armed with an ax.
The incident is being treated as a suspected terror attack.
Magen David Adom (MDA) EMTs and paramedics arrived at the scene and administered medical care to the woman who was conscious and suffering from wounds on her upper body.

1. Hostages Relate Stories of Hamas' Physical, Psychological Torture Following Release - Christian Post
The three hostages released by Hamas on Saturday, Yair Horn, Alexander Trupanov, and Sagui Dekel-Chen, described physical and psychological abuse of the hands of their captors. While there was some trepidation in Israel regarding the condition of the hostages following the previous release in which the three hostages came back emaciated, the three men released on Saturday appeared in better physical condition.
However, as with previous groups of hostages, the men who returned on Saturday shared stories of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of Hamas. According to public broadcaster Kan, Dekel-Chen was shot in the shoulder on Oct. 7, and unsuccessfully treated during his captivity. However, upon his release, he told IDF soldiers to tend to his wound later, as “the most important thing is for me to meet my family now.”
As in previous releases, Hamas and Islamic Jihad freed the three with "gifts": discharge certificates, souvenirs and medals. Yair Horn, whose brother remains in captivity, received an hourglass from Hamas with a picture of Einav Zangaucker and her son Matan, who remains in captivity as well. The hourglass has a sign with the phrase “Time is running out” written in Hebrew and Arabic. The three men said that after such a long time in captivity, they speak some Arabic. (Read more) |

We pray, Lord, that they would be released quickly in Jesus name. 2. Trump hits Zelenskyy hard in fiery social media post - DML News
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy got a dose of President Donald Trump’s wrath Wednesday morning, as Trump blasted out a message on Truth Social, and indicated the gravy train he has been receiving is about to come to a screeching halt.
This comes after Trump’s remarks at a press conference in Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, in which he somewhat blamed Ukraine for starting the war with Russia, although most view the situation as Russia starting the war. The Trump administration is trying to arrange a peace agreement to get the war ended. Trump wrote on Truth Social:

3. Rampant’ abuse in blue state migrant shelter system, says former director: ‘Colossal mess’ - Fox News
After being attacked by an immigrant rapist, Jon Fetherston, a former Massachusetts migrant shelter director, is blowing the whistle about the "rampant" abuse in the Massachusetts migrant shelter system, which he said is "just a big, colossal mess."
Fetherston, who served as the director of the Marlborough migrant shelter from 2023 to 2024, said that the amount of crime, domestic abuse and child neglect that takes place in the Massachusetts migrant shelter system is "mind-boggling." In an interview with Fox News Digital, Fetherston revealed that he was grabbed and attacked by a Haitian immigrant after he was confronted about raping and impregnating his own teenage daughter.
The Maine Wire first broke the story about the Haitian migrant, Ronald Joseph, 42, impregnating his then 13-year-old daughter. Joseph repeatedly raped and impregnated his daughter while staying at a government-funded migrant shelter at a Holiday Inn in Marlborough, Massachusetts. (Read more) |

Thank you, Lord for bringing stories like this to light to show Americans just how out of control illegal immigration has gotten and how it increases crime and abuse when these shelters and the funding for them goes unchecked. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumerhas been repeatedly photographed this month sharing a stage with a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official who has publicly denied China’s alleged genocide against the Uyghur population. Chinese Consul General in New York Chen Li has posted multiple photos of him posing with Schumer on his X profile this month, including attending at least two Chinese parades.
"Thrilled to join thousands at the [Brooklyn] Lantern Festival Parade!" Chen recently posted on X along with a photo standing with Schumer at the annual Lantern Festival parade in New York City. “Incredible #Chinese cultural performances—so proud of Chinese Community in New York! It’s time for celebration and friendship!" he added.
In another post on Monday that included Schumer and anti-Trump Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Chen said he was "glad to join the 27th NYC Lunar New Year Parade together with" all his American "friends" and Chinese "fellow-countrymen." 5. President Trump Signs Executive Order to Expand Access to IVF, Reduce Costs - Breitbart
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday that aims to expand access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and reduce costs. The order is a stride toward Trump’s campaign pledgeto have either the government or insurance companies cover the cost of IVF, which can cost between $15,000 and $30,000, according to GoodRx for one cycle. Trump has contended that Republicans should “make it easier for mothers and families to have babies — not harder.”
“These are treatments that have become unaffordable for many Americans or have been unaffordable for many Americans,” White House staff secretary Will Scharf said at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago. “And the executive order is a directive to the Domestic Policy Council to examine ways to make IVF and other fertility treatments more affordable for more Americans.”

A Texas lawmaker whose religious affiliation includes atheists and agnostics suggested all religions pray to the same "God of many names" during an interfaith prayer service at the state capitol.
Democratic Rep. Donna Howard of Austin delivered the opening invocation for the Feb. 11 meeting of the 89th Legislative Session with a prayer for "Texans of every religion and no religion" in which she gave thanks for living in a nation, she said, that protects the "freedom of and from religion."
"I'm grateful to live in a country where we have a constitutional right to no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the full exercise thereof, freedom of and from religion," said Howard, a former nurse who has represented her district since 2006. Stupidocrisy: Constitutional Crisis

Since when is identifying government waste, graft and corruption a constitutional crisis? It is when the Democratic Party and their propaganda arms don’t want Americans to see what they have been doing with tax money. First, identifying government waste and corruption was a threat to democracy. That was the main talking point—that, and the idea that a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the direction of a legitimate presidential appointee, Elon Musk, were somehow a threat to everything that America stands for, and in New York Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer’s words, “taking away everything we have.” Now the Democrat and propaganda machine talking points are “Constitutional crisis.”
Identifying government waste, graft and corruption is not only a threat to democracy, but also a Constitutional crisis, according to most every elected Democrat and mainstream news media. It perhaps is a threat to their brand of Marxism labeled “democracy” and the Communist Manifesto that they dearly hold as their own private constitution. But it is not a threat to the American Republic. A government for the people, by the people, and of the people requires good stewardship and accountability. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he has directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to terminate all U.S. attorneys appointed during the former Biden administration.
Trump stated that the move was necessary to restore a “fair justice system” in the country.
“Over the past four years, the Department of Justice has been politicized like never before,” Trump stated on the Truth Social platform.
“Therefore, I have instructed the termination of ALL remaining ‘Biden Era’ U.S. Attorneys. We must “clean house” IMMEDIATELY, and restore confidence,” he said. “America’s Golden Age must have a fair Justice System - THAT BEGINS TODAY!”
It is common for U.S. attorneys to resign when there is a change in administration. However, department lawyers said the incoming administration would typically request their resignations rather than issuing termination letters.

Abba, thank You that President Trump has brought consequences to the Department of Justice for their illegal actions during the Biden Admin. We ask that You continue to give President Trump Your eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand as You guide him through uprooting the deep state, upending their intentions for our country. President Donald Trump and Elon Musk discussed waste, fraud, abuse, and more in a joint interview with Sean Hannity that aired on Feb. 18.
The world’s wealthiest man and the president of the United States defended the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), now facing political opposition and numerous lawsuits as it slashes government spending—including negative publicity for firing and then seeking to rehire key nuclear weapons workers.
Musk also sought to make it clear he stands with Trump and vice versa.
“I think President Trump is a good man,” the tech entrepreneur said.
Trump reciprocated, saying he “couldn’t find anyone smarter” than Musk to assist his administration.

Vance’s Audience

Vice President Vance’s speech to the Munich Security Conference continues to cause all kinds of indigestion. Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal had multiple columns suggesting that Vance’s speech runs the real risk of breaking the U.S.-European alliance.
That’s totally wrong. If anything breaks the alliance, it will be European governments embracing censorship and locking out conservative populist views.
The critics are saying it was really insulting for the vice president to talk to European leaders that way. But as Victor Davis Hanson and others have pointed out, the critics still don’t get it.
J.D. Vance wasn’t really talking to the globalist leaders in the room at the Munich conference. He was talking to the people of Europe. Vance was telling them:
“We hear you. We believe you. We’re fighting the same left-wing impulses in America, and now we’re back on the right road. Don’t give up. Be of good cheer. Secure your borders. Vote for traditional European values. Embrace faith, family, and freedom. Make your governments do the same.”
That’s what really outraged the elites in the room. Vance, and through him Donald Trump and the United States, was encouraging Europeans to be Europeans, instead of passively lying there while Islam on the one hand or Marxism on the other destroys them.

Death toll climbs to 14, rescues ongoing in hard-hit Kentucky amid devastating flooding

The storm, which hammered several states with severe weather and heavy rainfall over the weekend, has claimed at least 14 lives.
Water levels continue to rise across Kentucky and other parts of the Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic regions, which are already reeling from a deadly coast-to-coast winter storm. Now, the situation is set to worsen as another major storm threatens snow and dangerously cold weather.
The storm, which hammered several states with severe weather and heavy rainfall over the weekend, has claimed at least 14 lives—one person died when a tree fell on a home in Atlanta, another in West Virginia, and 12 in Kentucky including a mother and a 7-year-old child who were in a car stuck in high water.
Emergency teams from the Kentucky National Guard and Kentucky State Police conducted over 1,000 rescues and first responders went "door to door" in flooded zones to ensure everyone's safety, said Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear during a Monday press conference
In just under 24 hours, a deluge exceeding a month's worth of rain inundated Kentucky, triggering the lethal floods. Despite the end of the rainfall, the flooding danger persists as waterways remained swollen, Beshear added. Read More
