Over 2,000 Students Give Lives to Christ at Kentucky Revival
|
|
“A supernatural Christian revival is stirring up once again on American college campuses through Unite US – an evangelistic movement marked by salvations, water baptisms, and worship,” reported CBN. “Last night at the University of Kentucky, more than 2,000 students responded to the gospel message of Jesus Christ and many took part in spontaneous baptisms.” The Unite US revival began in September 2023 at Auburn University’s Neville Arena where 5,000 people gathered in worship, resulting in 200 baptisms at a neighboring lake. The organization has since been hosting similar events on college campuses around the country that have hosted over 70,000 college students.
“Their first stop in 2025 was the University of Kentucky, just 30 minutes from Asbury University where the first sparks of a new spiritual awakening were seen among American students in February of 2023,” noted CBN. “This time, more than 8,000 students packed Rupp Arena to worship Jesus and to hear a powerful message on the Gospel.” Jennie Allen, Unite US speaker and founder of IF:Gathering, told the outlet the massive responses have been 'insane'. “Every time they are confessing their sin, they are yelling it out. They are responding to the gospel in herds. Like droves of kids are coming forward to receive Jesus,” said Allen. “We are baptizing kids for an hour and a half. They are giving their lives to Jesus. It is only God,” she added. “There is a movement amongst students that you can’t believe. And even when you see it, you can’t believe it!” (Breitbart) Read More Here

- Father God, we REJOICE over every soul surrendering their life to Jesus and for decisions of baptism as a genuine sign of heart-felt commitment to walk with Christ. Bring Your 'workers' into the harvest fields, to mentor each young believer so they may grow in the powerful knowledge of Your Word and experience Your extravagant love for them. We declare Holy Spirit Revival will again spread across college campuses, bringing generations together to worship and give GLORY to You- our Almighty God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! By the powerful Name and Blood of Yeshua- Amen and Amen!

Delta jet crashes at Canada's Toronto Pearson Airport; crews responding to plane
flipped upside down
|
|
At least 18 people from Delta Connection flight 4819 were treated for injuries
|
|
A Delta Air Lines plane crashed at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday afternoon, injuring numerous passengers flying from the U.S.
The plane crash, which involved a Delta Air Lines CRJ-900 jet that had departed from Minneapolis, was first reported by CTV. The flight was identified as Delta Connection flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, and carried 80 people.
The incident was reported at 2:45 p.m. local time. Pictures of the scene show the plane upside down and mangled on a snow-covered runway.
18 people were treated for injuries following the crash, including three who were critically injured and taken to local hospitals.
Two patients were taken by air ambulance to two different trauma centers – Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center and St. Michael’s Hospital – in Toronto, according to a spokesperson for the paramedic service that was on scene.
A child, about four years old, was transported to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
"Those three were critical, non-life-threatening injuries," Peel Regional Paramedic Services Superintendent Lawrence Saindon told Fox News Digital. "The remaining ones are all walking wounded, with cuts and scrapes, nothing serious at all." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Oh, Holy God! We have all truly witnessed a MIRACLE on the tarmac of the Toronto Pearson Airport today! A miracle! The more details that have surfaced about
this almost-horrific incident, the more we see Your Hand working to rescue all the
passengers and the crew on this Delta Airlines flight.
We ask that this miracle would not be lost over time, but that we can all know that You, Holy One, are indeed keeping each of us safe, day by day, in the shelter of Your
arms. Praise You, Lord! Amen and amen!

Republicans Seek to Unleash President’s Power to Not Spend
|
|
WASHINGTON—In a move that could give President Donald Trump more freedom to enact his agenda, Republicans are attempting to repeal a law that ties the hands of presidents who don’t want to spend particular funding appropriated by Congress.
Known as impoundment, the practice of declining to spend funds provided by Congress dates back to President Thomas Jefferson. Since 1974, however, it has been tempered by the Impoundment Control Act (ICA).
Republicans in the House and Senate now want to repeal the ICA.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) introduced Senate and House versions of their bill striking down the Watergate-era act.
The February legislation comes after House Appropriations Committee Democrats said that some of Trump’s executive orders violate the ICA by calling to delay funding to programs Congress enacted under President Joe Biden.
Lee told The Epoch Times in an email that the proposed repeal would “help restore the original separation of powers intended by the Founders.” Defenders of impoundment trace it to Article II of the Constitution, which states the president “shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”
Lee described impoundment as “a longstanding presidential authority” used by presidents for more than a century and a half and grounded in the Constitution. (The Epoch Times)

Relief and Joy as Volunteers Help Freed Jan. 6 Prisoners Get Home
|
|
With a stroke of the presidential pen, people charged in connection with the U.S. Capitol protest on Jan. 6, 2021, were free. Many had no idea how they would get home.
After President Donald Trump signed pardons and commutations on Jan. 20, an estimated 300 people were released from 75 prisons in 35 states, according to Gary Heavin, a Texas philanthropist who raised funds for an operation to meet each of the prisoners and help them get back home.
“Everyone was scrambling to make sure there were people at the gates of these prisons” to welcome the former prisoners and help them with basic needs, Heavin told The Epoch Times.
The volunteers ensured that the ex-prisoners “were warm and fed, with a hotel to go to, and a phone to reconnect to their families,” he said. Volunteers also provided transportation, including commercial airline tickets or flights via private jets, including one that Heavin owns.
These volunteers and the people they helped told The Epoch Times that emotions overflowed as they shared time together. They described relief that the prisoners were freed and could return home. But they also decried how the U.S. justice system handled the Jan. 6 cases, and expressed concern over the continuing challenges that the ex-prisoners face.
“There were bad actors on Jan. 6. But whatever stupid things they did—like breaking glass or turning a table over—four years in prison covers it, not 21,” Heavin said. “If we care about injustice, then we have to care about these people.”

At Least 9 Dead From Flooding in Southeast as Storms Rip Through Nation
|

The storms are also sending frigid temperatures to much of the North, from the Rockies to New England.
|
|
Large portions of the United States were hit by wild winter weather on Feb. 16, with torrential downpours flooding Kentucky and killing at least nine in the Southeast. Tornado watches were issued for parts of Florida and Georgia, while the northern Plains faced frigid temperatures.
Two deaths involved a mother and her 7-year-old child when flood waters swept away their car in Hart County, Kentucky, near Interstate 65, a county official told WBKO-TV. Hart County Coroner Tony Roberts said they died on the evening of Feb. 15 in the Bonnieville community.
Another death involved a 73-year-old man in southeastern Kentucky. He was found dead in floodwaters in Clay County, according to County Emergency Management Deputy Director Revelle Berry.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said on Feb. 16 that his request for disaster relief funding was approved by President Donald Trump.
Up to six inches of rain fell onto portions of Kentucky and Tennessee over the weekend, according to National Weather Service senior forecaster Bob Oravec.
“The effects will continue for awhile, a lot of swollen streams and a lot of flooding going on,” Oravec said on Feb. 16. “Any time there’s flooding, the flooding can last a lot longer than the rain lasts.”
A fourth death occurred in Atlanta after an “extremely large tree” fell on a home early on Feb. 16, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue Capt. Scott Powell. Firefighters were dispatched to the area just before 5 a.m. local time following a 911 call, he said.

3. Israel Preparing to Receive Bodies of Four Hostages on Thursday - Algemeiner
Israel is preparing to receive the bodies of four hostages from Gaza on Thursday and is working on bringing back six living captives on Saturday, an Israeli security official said on Monday.
If the two handovers are successful, only four hostages, all presumed dead, would remain in Gaza of the 33 due to be released in the first phase of a ceasefire agreement reached last month to halt the war between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
The ceasefire deal, reached with the help of Qatari and Egyptian mediators, has remained on track despite a series of temporary setbacks and accusations on both sides of violations to the agreement that have threatened to derail it.
Hamas has accused Israel of blocking the delivery of housing materials for the tens of thousands of Gazans forced to shelter from the winter weather.
Israel has denied the accusation but Zeev Elkin, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet, confirmed that a quantity of mobile homes was standing at the border. (Read more)

1. Anger, chaos and confusion take hold as federal workers face mass layoffs - AP
Workers across the country responded with anger and confusion Friday as they grappled with the Trump administration ‘s aggressive effort to shrink the size of the federal workforce by ordering agencies to lay off probationary employees who have yet to qualify for civil service protections.
While much of the administration’s attention was focused on disrupting bureaucracy in Washington, the broad-based effort to slash the government workforce was impacting a far wider swath of workers. As layoff notices were sent out agency by agency, federal employees from Michigan to Florida were left reeling from being told that their services were no longer needed.
In a sign of how chaotic the firings have been, some who received layoff notices had already accepted the administration’s deferred resignation offer, under which they were supposed to be paid until Sept. 30 if they agreed to quit, raising questions about whether others who signed the deal would nonetheless be fired. On Friday evening, the Office of Personnel Management, which serves as a human resources department for the federal government, acknowledged that some employees may have received termination notices in error and said the buyouts agreements would be honored. 3. CDC finds evidence that bird flu spread silently to veterinarians, suggesting undercount of cases - PBS.org
A new study shows that bird flu has silently spread from animals to some veterinarians.
The study published Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention echoes two smaller ones that detected evidence of infection in previously undiagnosed farmworkers. In those studies, several of the infected workers remembered having symptoms of H5N1 bird flu, while none of the veterinarians in the new paper recalled any such symptoms.
The new study is more evidence that the official U.S. tally of confirmed human bird flu infections — 68 in the last year — is likely a significant undercount, said Dr. Gregory Gray, an infectious disease researcher at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
“This means that people are being infected, likely due to their occupational exposures, and not developing signs of illness and therefore not seeking medical care,” Gray said. He said it shows that officials cannot fully understand bird flu transmission by only tracking people who go to medical clinics with symptoms. (Read more)

4. Ukraine: Russian drone blasts hole in radiation shield ‘protecting the world’ at Chernobyl nuclear plant - Times of Israel
KYIV, Ukraine — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday that a Russian drone struck the cover built to contain radiation at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Zelensky said “radiation levels have not increased.”
Zelenskyy said the strike damaged the structure and started a fire, which has been put out. The Ukrainian Emergency Service provided a photograph it said showed a searchlight illuminating a ragged hole in the roof of the damaged sarcophagus.
The Ukrainian air force said that Russia launched more than 100 drones across the country overnight — including attack drones — targeting northern regions of the country where the Chernobyl power plant lies.

Are You Set Apart From The World?
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 17, 2025
The LORD brought the Israelites to freedom from Egyptian slavery. But there was a long road ahead to remove the Egyptian pagan culture from the Israelites. The LORD defeated all the major pagan gods of Egypt through the plagues. As the LORD settled the Israelites between Egypt and Canaan, He began the process of setting apart the Israelites as His own people. The commandments established a covenant between the LORD and the Israelites. The laws emanating from those commandments further separated the Israelites from the pagans. Herein, laws on body markings, clothing, haircuts, etc., were part of a holiness code to set apart God’s children from the world. The concept remains today.
In Exodus 18:1-20:23, Moses’s father in law Jethro heard about how the LORD had delivered the Israelites from Egypt, and came to meet Moses in the land of Refidim. Moses told Jethro all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh, and Jethro proclaimed that He was greater than all of the gods, and he made sacrifices to ADONAI. Then Jethro ate a meal before the LORD with Moses, Aaron, and the 70 elders appointed according to Jethro’s instructions to Moses. After that Jethro returned to his country. Midrash, Jewish tradition, says that Jethro became a convert of the LORD. Then Moses and the Israelite people left Refidim, and set up camp at Sinai—the very place that Moses was commissioned by the LORD at the burning bush. Read More

Nuclear EMP attack: How US, Americans can prepare for ‘very real threat,’ expert says
|
|
|
A nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) strike could cripple the U.S. electrical grid, communications, transportation, and other critical infrastructure for months, an expert warned.
Historian William Forstchen, a New York Times bestselling author and an expert on EMPs, discussed with Fox News Digital how the U.S. – and everyday Americans – can prepare for the "existential threat" that the attack poses.
"This is a very real threat," he said. "EMP is generated when a small nuclear weapon, 40 to 60 kilotons or about three times the size of a Hiroshima bomb, is detonated 200 miles out in space above the United States. It sets up an electrostatic discharge which cascades to the Earth's surface, feeds into the millions of miles of wires which become antennas, feeds this into the power grid, overloads the grid and blows it out."
Forstchen, citing Congressional reports from 2002 and 2008, said that 80%-90% of Americans would be dead a year later if an EMP strike happened.
The threat of EMP propelled President Donald Trump, during his first term in 2020, to issue a study with the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
"Just within the last couple of days, the Trump administration is again talking about Israel's Iron Dome but in the United States," he said.
Forstchen shared three ways that the U.S. could prepare for a potential EMP attack.
1. Update the electrical grid
2. Create a U.S. Iron Dome
3. Stockpile emergency supplies

Vance’s Stirring Speech Warns Europe of ‘Retreat’ from ‘Fundamental Values’ of Faith, Freedom
|
|
|
President Joe Biden regularly fell asleep during diplomatic meetings. Vice President J.D. Vance debuted on the international stage Friday morning with a powerful speech aimed at awakening foreign elites to their violation of pro-life advocates’ rights, censorship of Christians, and “running in fear of your own voters.”
Vance fearlessly faced down the assembled powers of Europe at the Munich Security Conference, highlighting one nation’s Orwellian prosecution of pro-life Christians for the crime of silent public prayer, and the members’ collective determination to preserve “Our Democracy,”TM without respecting civil liberties or the will of the people.
After mentioning President Donald Trump intends to reach “a reasonable settlement between Russia and Ukraine” to end the nearly three-year-long war between the two Orthodox Christian nations, Vance pivoted to the true specter haunting Europe. “The threat that I worry the most about vis-à-vis Europe is not Russia; it’s not China; it’s not any other external actor. What I worry about is the threat from within: the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States of America,” said Vance. (The vice president’s wording shed light on President Trump’s use of the phrase “the enemy within,” which Democrats attempted to morph into a promise to use the U.S. military against American citizens.)
The vice president placed two unalienable rights at the heart of his critique: the right to life and freedom of religion:

- Father God, we thank you for the boldness of VP Vance as he addressed the Munich Security Conference in Europe highlighting their persecution of pro-life Christians and calling them to come back to the two unalienable rights that our countries have in common: the right to life and freedom of religion. Father, we pray for the hearts of the leaders who heard this speech. In Proverbs 21:1 it is written that the King's heart is in Your hands and You turn if where you wish. Lord turn the hearts of these leaders to the foundation of Your throne which, according to Psalm 89:14, is righteousness and justice. Lord let them walk in the light of Your countenance. Let these leaders as it is written in Luke 6:48 dig deep and build the foundation of their nations on the solid rock of Jesus so that no matter what comes they will not be shaken. Father, it is written in Daniel 2:21 that You remove kings and You raise up kings, so we are asking You to remove those who are not building their nations on Your firm foundation and raise up those who will hear You and allow You to turn their hearts. We thank you for doing this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus.
- "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes." (Proverbs 21:1)

Emmanuel Macron calls 'emergency meeting' for European leaders to discuss Trump: report
|
|
|
French President Emmanuel Macron has scheduled an "emergency meeting" for European leaders to discuss President Donald Trump, according to another European official.
According to Politico, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski alluded to the meeting at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday. Two EU officials told the outlet that the meeting would take place on Monday.
"I'm very glad that President Macron has called our leaders to Paris," Sikorski was quoted as saying, noting that the event would involve talking about the implications of Trump's actions "in a very serious fashion."
"President Trump has a method of operating which the Russians call razvedka boyem – reconnaissance through battle. You push and you see what happens, and then you change your position…And we need to respond," the Polish official added. (Fox News) Read more here.

|
- Lord God, we praise You that the leaders of Europe are now "getting the message" that they can no longer violate the civil rights of pro-life Christians, nor pursue the censorship of pro-life Christians. Praise You, O Lord, that Trump (through Vance's speech) has indeed gotten their attention. We pray that the policies of these nations would now be shifted in the direction of freedom of speech and true civil rights. Amen.

But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds. " (Psalm 7:9)

1,800 of the heavy bombs unloaded at Ashdod Port, taken by trucks to Israeli airbases, weeks after Trump lifted hold on delivery

A shipment of some 1,800 heavy bombs from the United States that had been held up by the previous American administration arrived in Israel overnight, the Defense Ministry announced on Sunday.
A ship carrying the MK-84 2,000-lb munitions docked at Ashdod Port and was unloaded onto dozens of trucks and taken to Israeli airbases, the ministry said.
Defense Minister Israel Katz hailed the arrival of the bombs, saying in a statement: “The munitions shipment that arrived in Israel tonight, released by the Trump administration, represents a significant asset for the Air Force and the IDF and serves as further evidence of the strong alliance between Israel and the United States.”
“I thank President Donald Trump and the US administration for their unwavering support of the State of Israel. We will continue working together to strengthen our security,” Katz added.
According to the ministry, since the beginning of the war in October 2023, over 76,000 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel on 678 transport planes and 129 ships, the vast majority from the US. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

Lunar eclipse will create a Blood Moon sky show in March
|
|
A total lunar eclipse - the first to grace our skies since 2022 - will happen in March, and it will bring us a Blood Moon that will appear tinted a reddish-orange to our eyes.
The total lunar eclipse will start late on the night of March 13 and will end in the early hours of March 14, according to NASA. An eclipse like this happens when the Moon, Earth and Sun all align so that the Moon is passing into the Earth’s shadow.
NASA explains it this way:
“In a total lunar eclipse, the entire Moon falls within the darkest part of Earth’s shadow, called the umbra. When the Moon is within the umbra, it appears red-orange. Lunar eclipses are sometimes called ‘Blood Moons’ because of this phenomenon.”
And just how does the Moon get its reddish tint? NASA goes a little deeper on the color explanation: “During a lunar eclipse, the Moon appears red or orange because any sunlight that’s not blocked by our planet is filtered through a thick slice of Earth’s atmosphere on its way to the lunar surface. It’s as if all the world’s sunrises and sunsets are projected onto the Moon.”
During this lunar eclipse, the phase of totality will last for just over an hour. Then we’ll see the moon begin to emerge from the shadow. Read More

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
