Prayers for Muslims: The Astonishing Rise of Jesus' Dreams and Visions

Every year during Ramadan, millions of Muslims seek spiritual fulfillment through fasting and prayer. At the same time, many Christians around the world are joining together in prayer for these very same people—asking God to reveal Himself in powerful ways. And according to firsthand testimonies, those prayers are being answered in ways few could have imagined.

The Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board has launched a prayer initiative called “Pray for Ramadan,” encouraging believers to intercede for Muslims around the world. April Bunn, director of IMB’s Prayer Office, shared with The Christian Post that their goal is to guide intercessors in praying “with both lament for lostness and joy in the hope of the Gospel.” Bunn emphasized the importance of prayer, stating, “We also know that God’s Word teaches that He works in and through the prayers of His people.”

We declare that a harvest of new believers will enter the Kingdom proclaiming life-changing experiences because of Almighty God's extravagant mercy and love for them! By the Blood and Power of Yeshua- Amen.

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives... " (Colossians 1:9)

US Will Back Israel in Whatever Netanyahu Chooses as Hamas Continues Holding Hostages

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Hamas failed to release all the hostages by 12 p.m., a deadline he imposed after the terror group threatened not to release any hostages, and the US "will back" whatever decision Israel makes in response.

"Hamas has just released three Hostages from GAZA, including an American Citizen. They seem to be in good shape! This differs from their statement last week that they would not release any Hostages," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Israel will now have to decide what they will do about the 12:00 O’CLOCK, TODAY, DEADLINE imposed on the release of ALL HOSTAGES. The United States will back the decision they make!"

Hamas threatened to withhold hostage releases, alleging that Israel violated the ceasefire agreement - an accusation denied by Israel.

Shortly after, the IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi said that the IDF is making "immense efforts" to bring all the remaining hostages back to Israel "while simultaneously preparing offensive plans." Read more

Lord, we ask that this situation be within Your perfect will. President Trump has deferred his demand to Israel, so we pray that they will move only as You direct. Please find a way to release all hostages quickly and bring accountability to the terrorists who have caused them great harm.

Top Biden HHS Official Funneled Billions to Migrants Through Her Nonprofit Connections

A top official in the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) directed millions in migrant assistance grants to nonprofits where she previously held senior positions, a watchdog report revealed Thursday.

Robin Dunn Marcos, who led HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) under former President Joe Biden, oversaw $22.6 billion in grant distributions since 2020, with her former employers emerging as top beneficiaries. The International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she spent 23 years as a senior director, received $598 million, while Church World Service, her employer of four years, was awarded $355 million, according to an OpenTheBooks report.

“Consistent with the Ethics Pledge, Robin Dunn Marcos is recused from participating in particular matters involving specific parties in which IRC is or represents a party,” a spokesperson for the Administration for Children and Families, ORR’s parent agency, told the outlet. “That recusal obligation lasts for two years from her date of appointment, which was September 11, 2022.” Read more

Lord, this favoritism by an HHS employee is unacceptable.  We pray that under RFK Jr no such situation will occur. We also ask that any organization that uses Your Name be without sin in their dealings. Let all work by such nonprofits be done with accountability to truth.

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17

Trump Budget Bill With $4.5T in Tax Cuts Survives Key Hurdle Despite House GOP Infighting

A mammoth bill advancing a broad range of President Donald Trump’s policy goals survived a key hurdle on Thursday, putting Republicans closer to their goal of passing a bill by sometime in May.

The legislation passed the House Budget Committee on a party-line 21 to 16 vote and is expected to be taken up by the entire chamber for a floor vote later this month.

It comes despite eleventh-hour negotiations that had the bill’s eventual passage in question even as the committee met to discuss the text on Thursday morning.

The 45-page resolution directs various House committees to find a sum of at least $1.5 trillion in spending cuts, with $300 billion in new spending allocated toward the border, national defense and the judiciary.

It also directs $4 trillion toward raising the debt limit, and it includes $4.5 trillion to extend Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) and other tax provisions pushed by the president for the next 10 years. Read more

Lord, we pray that the tax cuts from 2017 will be extended, and the promised lower taxes come to fruition for all Americans. We bind the plans of the enemy to cause disruptions or stop the progress of the tax bills.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu: 'Trump and I know how and when the gates of hell will open' - Israel National News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke during Sunday's Cabinet meeting about his meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"I've known him for many years. I've known President Trump for many years - when he wasn't president. I've known Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for quite a few years and many others."

The Prime Minister noted that in the past Israel had to put up with pressure from what he called "less friendly" administrations which pressured Israel to make dangerous concessions. "We stood up to it, and I stood up to it while cultivating the relationship with these people and with Democrats who, like us, believed that you need a strong Israel against our mutual enemies and to work for shared interests." 2. IDF strikes in Gaza, Lebanon over ceasefire violations by Hamas, Hezbollah - Jerusalem Post

The Israel Air Force confirmed it struck several military sites in Lebanese territory containing rocket launchers and weapons and where Hezbollah activity had been identified on Sunday.

It had earlier conducted a strike on “several armed terrorists” who were moving toward IDFpositions in southern Gaza on Sunday, according to the military, while a senior Hezbollah terrorist was killed in a drone strike in southern Lebanon, the military confirmed on Saturday night.

These airstrikes were conducted amid violations of the ceasefires between Israel and Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, respectively. (Read more)

3. IDF soldiers report that Hamas is planting explosives in the Gaza buffer zone - World Israel News

IDF soldiers stationed in the security zone around Gaza report observing Hamas infrastructure crews working in the area and planting explosives.

Israeli journalist Almog Boker interviewed soldiers who said terrorists are taking advantage of their access to the zone to lay explosives intended for Israelis.

Upon hearing the report, Defense Minister Israel Katz said, “The directive to the IDF is clear and unambiguous: Anyone who enters the Gaza buffer zone, whether on foot or in a vehicle, is putting their life at risk – and the IDF must respond accordingly.”

“We have a duty to protect IDF soldiers and the residents of southern Israel from every threat and danger, and we will not compromise on security. We will not return to the pre-October 7th reality,” he continued. (Read more)

4. Arab States to Reveal 5-Year Plan to Rebuild Gaza: No Hamas or Relocation - Algemeiner

i24 News – Arab countries will unveil their plan for the reconstruction of Gaza on February 27 in Cairo. This initiative, developed by the Palestinians and handed over to the Egyptians for implementation, will be presented to the leaders of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. The plan provides for reconstruction over three to five years, without the displacement of the Palestinian population and without Hamas control. The funding, estimated at several hundred million dollars, will come from Gulf countries. The work will be carried out by Egyptian companies, representing a significant source of income for Egypt, which is strongly opposed to any migration of Palestinians out of Gaza. The workforce will consist mainly of local Palestinians.

“The goal is to marginalize Hamas so that it understands that it has lost control of Gaza, and to completely eliminate the terrorist organization’s grip on the population and the territory within 5 years from the start of reconstruction,” a source involved in the plan said.

An independent “Palestinian administration,” separate from the Palestinian Authority but relying on it, will oversee the reconstruction. This power structure is designed to get the approval of Israel and the United States, who refuse direct management by the Palestinian Authority. (Read more

5. Leiter: Israel will ‘very soon’ address Egyptian military buildup in Sinai - JNS

Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter has accused Egypt of “very serious” violations of its 45-year-old peace treaty with the Jewish state, saying the government in Jerusalem would table Cairo’s military buildup in Sinai “very soon.”

Egypt has constructed military bases in Sinai “that can only be used for offensive operations, for offensive weapons—that’s a clear violation,” Leiter said in his first meeting with American Jewish organizations on Jan. 28, a recording of which was shared online by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations on Friday.

Egypt’s breach “is an issue that is going to come to the fore because it’s not tolerable,” the Israeli diplomatic envoy explained. “For a long time, it’s been shunted aside, and this continues. This is going to be an issue that we’re going to put on the table very soon and very emphatically.” (Read more)

1. Trump signs off on DOGE audit of IRS – Washington examiner

President Donald Trump on Thursday threw his support behind the Department of Government Efficiency investigation into alleged fraud and waste at the Internal Revenue Service.

Trump has long railed against the IRS, repeatedly claiming on the 2024 campaign trail that the office improperly targets conservatives for political reasons. After entering office in January, the president proposed closing down the IRS and replacing it with a new External Revenue Office. The president and his allies claim that revenue coming in from new Trump-era tariffs would sufficiently offset the loss of federal income taxes.

Gavin Kliger and other DOGE officials reportedly arrived at IRS headquarters Thursday afternoon, just before Trump's Oval Office signing ceremony for his new reciprocal tariff agenda.

During the ceremony, Trump told reporters that "the Internal Revenue Service will be looked at like everybody." Read more

Lord, we pray that this audit will produce any evidence of fraud or waste that may exist. We ask that this not negatively impact any citizens who will be filing their tax returns.

“Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger.”  (Matthew 23: 1-5 )

2. Trump Establishes National Energy Dominance Council Led by Secretaries Burgum, Wright - Breitbart

President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing the National Energy Dominance Council to advise the president on strategies to make the United States energy-dominant.

A White House document on the order provided to Breitbart News notes that Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum will chair the council, while Energy Secretary Chris Wright will be the vice chairman. Various cabinet and agency members will also serve on the council.

“The Council will advise President Trump on strategies to achieve energy dominance by improving the processes for permitting, production, generation, distribution, regulation, and transportation across all forms of American energy,” the White House document states.

Moreover, the Council is directed to present a strategy to Trump focused on ending bureaucratic hurdles and boosting investments in the private sector. Read more

Lord, we ask that this new council find the right strategy to accomplish the goals of the Trump administration. Primarily, we ask that You help Americans with the horrific high prices for energy and other problems all of us faced in the economy of the former administration.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”          (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

3. ‘Maybe AOC Is Going to Be in Trouble Now’: Homan Asks DOJ to Consider if NY Lawmaker Is ‘Impediment’ to Illegal Alien Crackdown – Breitbart

Thursday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Trump border czar Tom Homan said he had asked the Department of Justice to consider whether Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was hindering the federal government’s efforts to crack down on known criminal aliens.

Homan said he had emailed the deputy attorney general to make that determination.

“Tom, you got AOC out there, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Congresswoman, putting out a webinar, doing a webinar to help illegals avoid, I guess, apprehension,” FNC host Laura Ingraham said. “Giving tips about how to continue to remain in the country and, ultimately, game the system.”

“And I sent an email today to the deputy attorney general — at what level is that impediment?” Homan replied. “Is that impediment? I’m not an attorney. I’m not a prosecutor. Is that impediment? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? So, I’m working with the Department of Justice in finding out where is that line that they crossed? So, maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now, but I need the AOG to opine on that, because there’s a impediment, it’s impediment in my opinion. I’m not a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that.”  Read more

Father, we ask that You touch the hearts of all who are resisting the deportation of violent criminal illegals and reveal truth to them in a way that will seep deep into their spirit. We pray for a move of repentance to flood their lives.

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.” (Psalm 37:5)

4. HHS Spent More Than $22B On Illegal Immigrants, Including Home Loans And Cars – Daily Wire

Between 2020 and 2024, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reportedly spent $22.6 billion on illegal immigrants, including cash payments for cars and home loans.

HHS’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) was found to have also provided assistance in building up credit to start businesses, the New York Post reported, citing a watchdog organization that provided its report exclusively to the outlet.

OpenTheBooks reported that “ORR has spent over $22.6 BILLION since 2020 on grants to nonprofits providing everything from help accessing Medicaid to help building [sic] credit, help with home and auto loans, and cash assistance.”

The organization noted that the grants “acted as giant magnets for those seeking to cross the border and claim asylum.” ORR also expanded its criteria to allow more people to receive its funding, OpenTheBooks found. (Read more)

Lord, as more spending for resettlement is revealed, we ask that only that which You have allowed be given. While we do not hate illegal migrants, we pray that only Your wisdom be the guiding principle for any funds release.

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.”  (Proverbs 3:13)

5.  More Than $100 Million in U.S. Foreign Aid Sent to Terror-Linked Organizations: Report
U.S. foreign aid programs have disbursed more than $100 million to terror-linked entities since 2007, according to a multi-year report released by the Middle East Forum (MEF) earlier this month. The lion’s share (at least $152.9 million) came through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), although the U.S. State Department was also responsible for $11.6 million. The report comes as the Trump administration has sustained mounting criticism for its efforts to reform America’s troubled foreign aid programs.

ANERA

Of the organizations featured in MEF’s report, the most donations went to American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA). Since 2007, ANERA had received $102.2 million in grants from USAID and another $7.0 million from the State Department, according to the MEF report. Most recently, USAID granted ANERA $12.5 million in 2024.

Yet ANERA, which operates in Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon, has provided financial support to Hamas-adjacent organizations for years.

In 2007, just after Hamas’s bloody takeover of Gaza, The Washington Times reported that ANERA was “building a high-tech facility” for the Islamic University of Gaza, which was “known as a Hamas bastion” as early as 1996, according to then-Rep. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). Read more

Lord, thank You for this revelation. We ask that the US government will now stop giving funds to terrorists in any way.

“Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.”  (Luke 12:2)

6. Trump, Musk Winning the War on Waste: 75K Federal Workers Take Buyout Offer – Breitbart

Approximately 75,000 federal workers have accepted the White House’s “deferred resignation” offer to take a buyout while still being paid through September, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

The offer’s deadline closed Wednesday after a federal judge ruled to end a temporary pause to the program.

The Boston-based judge’s order in the challenge filed by a group of labor unions was a significant legal victory for the Republican president.

“This goes to show that lawfare will not ultimately prevail over the will of 77 million Americans who supported President Trump and his priorities,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

NBC News reports the number of federal employees who are reported to have taken the offer amounts to around 3.75 percent of the federal workforce, and includes those offered a buyout in the CIA. Read more

Lord, we thank You that the government is slowly being reduced to a manageable level.  We pray that the activist judges of all courts be prevented from causing problems for the administration’s plan. We believe that Your plan for the US is good, and that You will guide this administration to do things that only help Americans.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Daily Jot

The American Chronicles: GPS or Map?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 16, 2025

As someone who grew up in a time when a good map was a travel necessity, and the AAA Trip Tik was king, a GPS is a little difficult to trust. First, there is having to put in your destination. Where to? It asks. You begin typing in an address and then it kicks it out because you didn’t have the right state. Then you have to figure out how to put in the right state, and start all over again. Sometimes there are two locations that show up the same, but you know darn well neither of them are where you want to go. The whole process is time-consuming and we are constantly x-ing back for misspelling or whatever. It doesn’t give you a whole lot of confidence that this will get you where you want to go. Then it becomes reality.

There have been times when we have been traveling to a location and our RV GPS goes crazy. One time, we were headed to Emerald Isle, NC, for example, and there was a period of maybe 20 miles where the GPS had us travelling across a bridge down into some river flats and it then just went off road and was spinning in circles. Another time, we were driving to a campground and the GPS told us there was no highway and it had us driving for miles through a field on the screen, but we were actually on a highway. It really gets unnerving when you are driving along in this no man’s land and a body of water suddenly shows up on the screen, but there is nothing of the sort where you are driving. Read More

Trump Team Digs in, Finds Millions of Wasted Dollars at EPA, HUD with DOGE Help

The new administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Lee Zeldin, said he has canceled a Biden-era $50 million environmental justice grant to an organization that believes "climate justice travels through a Free Palestine."

Zeldin, who was sworn in as the EPA administrator at the end of January, was a guest on "The Story with Martha MacCallum" on Thursday, where he spoke about canceling the grant.

"Just earlier today, I canceled a $50 million grant to an organization called the Climate Justice Alliance," he said. "They say that climate justice runs through a free Palestine. I think that the American taxpayer wouldn't want $50 million going to this left-wing advocacy group. It’s canceled."

Zeldin also noted that Congress has advocated against the grant. Read more

Lord, we ask that You cover Director Zeldin with Your wisdom as he navigates the waste and fraud within the EPA.

“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”  (Proverbs 24: 3-4)

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Worst of year's biggest storm passes, but mudslide and debris cleanup continues

The brunt of a winter storm passed through Southern California on Thursday after heavy rain snarled traffic, caused debris flows and sparked warnings about flooding, thunderstorms, wind and hail.

The storm caused significant mud flows along Pacific Coast Highway and in the Sierra Madre foothills, where officials were cleaning up debris.

A small tornado in Oxnard damaged mobile homes and carports, the National Weather Service said.

The storm subsided Friday morning, but officials warned that people should remain cautious, especially around canyons and steeper terrain where the risk of mudslides and rockslides remains.

There were no injuries or serious damage reported in Malibu, according to city officials.

But PCH is closed indefinitely from Chautauqua Boulevard in Pacific Palisades to Sweetwater Canyon Drive in Malibu while work crews remove mud and debris, according to the California Department of Transportation.

“It could have been worse,” said Malibu Mayor Doug Stewart. “We've still got a lot of water in these hillsides, and they can slip and slide at any time. Until the earth stops moving and we can get a clear path on PCH, it won't be open for anything except the essential services through there.” Read More
