President Biden's continued inaction against the deluge of illegal immigration at the Mexican border spurred Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp to act, the Republican told Fox News after publicly pledging more than a dozen guardsmen to be deployed to Texas.
Kemp said the deployment will not happen, however, until a formal request is sent to the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency by Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott.
Despite Mexico being 1,000 miles from the Chattahoochee River at Georgia's westernmost boundary, Kemp said the crisis has intensified under Biden to the point "every state is a border state."
Kemp told "Your World" Tuesday that Georgia guardsmen will set up a forward command post to assist the Texas National Guard's efforts. (Fox News) Read more here.

How strict EU online censorship laws could stifle free speech in America
|
|
The European Union (EU) has been actively pursuing strategies to regulate so-called hate speech and disinformation online, with the aim of creating a “safer” digital environment. This involves a complex intersection of strict regulatory frameworks at both the national and EU levels.
One significant step in this direction was the adoption of a Communication by the European Commission in December 2021. This proposed extension of the list of “EU crimes” under Article 83(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) to include hate crimes and hate speech. This could pave the way for the EU to criminalize additional forms of hate speech and hate crimes beyond those motivated by racism.
The European Commission’s approach includes a range of measures, such as supporting national authorities in combating so-called “hate speech” and hate crimes. Notably, in 2016, the commission initiated a voluntary “Code of Conduct” with major IT companies to counter hate speech online. In the context of the broader debate on regulating online spaces, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have demanded new laws, not just platform guidelines, to govern social media and control online speech.
This discussion gains relevance in light of the EU’s work on the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA), which are expected to include rules for online platforms and measures to tackle “disinformation” which the EU contends is “harmful.”
While some MEPs have called for clear rules to govern online speech, others (though not many) have raised concerns about the potential for censorship and the impact on freedom of expression.
The notice-and-action system, for instance, has been criticized for leading to censorship, as platforms might be compelled to filter content through algorithms, potentially resulting in overly cautious or politically correct moderation. (LifeSite News) Read more here.

In a discussion at the 2024 World Governments Summit in Dubai, where Carlson talked about his viral interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the former Fox News anchor said that humility is a sign of wisdom and that transhumanists who think that “they are God” are “very dangerous” and “will get a lot of people killed.”
“Wisdom grows from the recognition that you are not God,” he said.
“And in the United States, we had a period where we were sort of having this debate about, are some religions good and some religions bad.”
“I’ll tell you my view on it, and it’s a hardened view. It’s a sincere view. I divide the world not between Muslim, Jew, and Christian, or Buddhist. I divide the world between people who believe they’re God and people who know they’re not,” Carlson continued.
“And the only people I trust are in the second category, because that is the beginning of wisdom. When you know you are not God, that you cannot affect every change that you want, [that] you can’t foresee the future, that you’re not omnipotent, then you are much more likely to make good decisions. Wise, humane decisions.”

House votes to impeach DHS Secretary Mayorkas over border crisis

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been impeached by the House of Representatives. A Cabinet secretary has not been impeached by the U.S. Congress since 1876.
The office of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Mayorkas' impeachment trial will begin later this month.
"The House impeachment managers will present the articles of impeachment to the Senate following the state work period," Schumer's office said in a statement. "Senators will be sworn in as jurors in the trial the next day. Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray will preside."
Tuesday evening’s vote marked House Republicans’ second attempt at impeaching Mayorkas. GOP lawmakers targeted the Biden official over the ongoing migrant crisis at the U.S. southern border, accusing him of deliberately flaunting existing immigration law and worsening the situation.
The 214-213 vote was always expected to be tight; Mayorkas narrowly escaped impeachment last week when every single House Democrat showed up to shield him, including Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, who temporarily left the hospital where he was recovering from surgery to cast his vote.
Three Republicans also voted down the effort: Reps. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., Ken Buck, R-Colo., and Tom McClintock, R-Calif.
Each criticized Mayorkas’ handling of the border but had reservations over whether it rose to the level of impeachment. McClintock warned it could set a precedent for political impeachments that could harm GOP officials in the future.
"Swapping one leftist for another is a fantasy, solves nothing, excuses Biden’s culpability, and unconstitutionally expands impeachment that someday will bite Republicans," McClintock said last week. (Fox News) Read more here.

1. Deadly rocket attack in North shows Hezbollah undeterred - Jerusalem Post
Deadly rocket fire targeting northern Israel on February 14 illustrates that Hezbollah is not deterred and is escalating attacks on Israel, seeking to target communities deeper inside the country. Israel evacuated 80,000 people from northern communities in early October because of Hezbollah attacks.
Hezbollah believes it has impunity to attack Israel and has launched more than 2,000 rockets at the Jewish state. Rockets fired by the Iranian-backed terrorist group wounded a woman and her son on February 13. So far, there has been no attempt to massively deter and prevent Hezbollah’s attacks. Instead, Israel prefers precision and proportional response.
Hezbollah gambled in early October that it could attack Israel with impunity and that Israel, focused on the war against Hamas, would not be willing to start a two-front war. Indeed, this is not the Israel of 1967 or 1973, when it successfully defeated multiple conventional armies on multiple fronts in a week or two of fighting, despite many obstacles. An Israeli government minister vowed a “powerful” response following a deadly rocket attack by Hezbollah terrorists Wednesday, while hinting at a possible reprisal against the Lebanese government.
One person was killed and eight more injured in a Hezbollah rocket barrage on northern Israel Wednesday.
The rockets, fired from southern Lebanon, struck a building in the northern Israeli city of Tzfat (Safed), and another site in the city.
Hours after the attack, Minister Without Portfolio Benny Gantz (National Unity) addressed a gathering at Yeshivat Hedvata in Gan Yavneh, pledging that Israel would respond to the attack. (Read more)

3. Hostages’ families file Hamas war crimes claim at ICC: ‘Genocide can’t go unpunished’ - Times of Israel
A delegation of family members of Israeli hostages being held by terrorists in Gaza filed complaints of war crimes against Hamas leaders at the International Criminal Court in The Hague on Wednesday, demanding that the atrocities not go unpunished.
The ICC is separate from the International Court of Justice (ICJ), where Israel has been accused by South Africa of committing genocide in Gaza. While the ICJ deals with nations, the ICC prosecutes individuals.
Some 100 family members of hostages were part of the delegation, along with several dozen lawyers who helped draft the legal submission to the ICC, which is empowered to prosecute individuals for serious violations of the Geneva Conventions that amount to war crimes, if they are citizens of signatory states and entities, as the Palestinian Authority is.

4. Activist group claims: Helmets and protective vests found in Gaza aid trucks - Israel National News
The Tzav 9 movement, which organizes the demonstrations that block trucks carrying aid to the Gaza Strip at the Kerem Shalom and Nitzana crossings, claimed on Wednesday that at the beginning of the week, aid trucks at the Kerem Shalom Crossing were found to be containing helmets and protective vests which were meant to reach Hamas.
"This is additional proof that the hundreds of truckloads that are transferred daily are not humanitarian aid. This is ammunition and supplies that the State of Israel transfers in the middle of the war to the Hamas terror organization. Our hostages groan and do not even receive their medications, the brave soldiers give their lives and fall in battles for our children's future. This long convoy travels straight into the hands that are covered in our brothers' blood, of the enemy," the movement leaders stated.
They added: "We call on the entire public to take the struggle to the next step and come with us to block the Hamas trucks with our bodies. No aid passes until the last hostage returns." (Read more)

5. Jewish Man Stabbed Six Times During Antisemitic Assault in Paris - Algemeiner
Police in Paris have arrested a man over the stabbing of a Jewish man on Monday night by a former friend of the victim who is said to have become “obsessed” with Jews.
According to an eyewitness, the 35-year-old victim, who has not been named, was walking with his partner in the 14th arrondissement of the French capital when they were confronted by the assailant, who was armed with a knife. The assailant was reported to have uttered antisemitic invective before stabbing the man in the back six times.
Police said that the victim was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. Journalists who visited the site of the attack on Tuesday reported that blood stains still remained on the sidewalk outside the launderette where the stabbing took place. (Read more)

A Super Bowl ad from a faith-based organization is igniting a debate among Christian conservatives, who expressed concern that its intended message of unity could be misconstrued as a justification for engaging in certain sins and that it fails to communicate a biblically accurate account of Jesus.
The "He Gets Us" campaign, which describes itself as an effort to remind people of "the example that Jesus set while inviting all to explore his teachings so we can all follow his example of confounding, unconditional love," aired a 60-second ad during Super Bowl LVIII Sunday.
The ad, titled "Foot Washing," featured still photographs of people washing another person's feet in various situations.
One image depicted in the ad showed an older woman washing a younger woman's feet outside a facility labeled as a "Family Planning Clinic." In the background were protesters on both sides of the abortion debate holding signs reflecting the differing positions on the hot-button issue. (Read more)

2. Biden Admin Warned Banks About Christian “Extremists” Who Bought Bibles - Life News
An agency of the federal government “flagged” Bible purchases as an indication of “extremism” in communications with banks following the events of January 6, 2021.
“We now know the federal government flagged terms like ‘MAGA’ and ‘TRUMP,’ to financial institutions if Americans completed transactions using those terms,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH, wrote on X. “What was also flagged? If you bought a religious text, like a BIBLE, or shopped at Bass Pro Shop.”
Jordan serves as the chairman of both the House Judiciary Committee and the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
He detailed the Committee and Select Subcommittee’s findings in a January 17 letter to former Director of the Office of Stakeholder Integration and Engagement in the Strategic Operations Division of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) Noah Bishoff.
“FinCEN warned financial institutions of ‘extremism’ indicators that include … ‘the purchase of books (including religious texts) and subscriptions to other media containing extremist views,’” Jordan continued. (Read more)

Facing a $700 million budget shortfall, officials at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may be forced to release thousands of immigrants into the U.S. because Republicans, at the urging of Donald Trump, killed a massive bipartisan Senate bill that would have injected $7.6 billion into the agency.
"Faced with record numbers of illegal crossings at the Mexico border and mounting criticism from his own party," The Washington Post reports, "Biden has deployed ICE officers more aggressively and ramped up deportation flights in recent months. White House officials say the administration has deported or returned 500,000 migrants since May, more than Trump did on an annual basis during his term."

4. US to deploy 5 aircraft carriers in western Pacific in show of strength to China - South China Morning Post
The US is likely to deploy nearly half of its aircraft carriers in the western Pacific this year, in a signal of deterrence against the increasing military activity in the region by China and North Korea, analysts said.
Three US aircraft carriers are already operating in the western Pacific Ocean, with two more on the way. Their arrival will mark the first time that five of the 11-strong carrier contingent have operated in the region.
Unprecedented increase in naval power to the region is intended as a signal to Washington’s allies and rivals, especially Beijing, analysts said. Washington wants to reassure its partners that it remains committed to Indo-Pacific, despite conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. (Read more)

5. Tennessee GOP lawmakers advance bill that would criminalize adults helping minors get an abortion - Just The News
Republican lawmakers in the Tennessee House advanced legislation that would make illegal an adult helping a minor get an abortion without parental consent.
“This bill is simply a parental rights bill,” said GOP Rep. Jason Zachary, according to The Associated Press.
Part of the legislation specifically calls for making it illegal for an adult to transport a minor across state lines to get an abortion procedure.
Those who violate the proposed legislation would face a Class C felony, which could result in 15 years in prison and potentially $10,000 in fines. (Read more)

7. Chiefs' Super Bowl victory parade descended into chaos when bullets started flying - The Daily Mail
Harrowing pictures have captured the moment that the Kansas City Chiefs' triumphant Super Bowl Parade descended into chaos when bullets started flying.
At least one person has been killed and 15 others have been injured in the horror shooting that unfolded shortly after 3.30pm Wednesday just moments after the team including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes left the stage.
Terrifying footage captured the frantic aftermath of the shooting as panicked fans ran for their lives.
Groups of fans were seen heroically tackling an armed man to the ground and police said two gunmen were detained, although their identities remain unclear. Unconfirmed reports indicate multiple children may also have been gunned down in the tragic celebration, and were rushed to nearby Children's Mercy Hospital. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: Opposites Attract

There is an old adage that opposites attract. There’s a new twist to that saying in that during these past few years a whole lot of people have been attracted to the opposite of truth. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and the Democratic National Party conspired to say that Donald Trump had underhanded business deals with Russia and collaborated with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election. In truth, Clinton and the Biden family were the ones that had underhanded deals with Russia, Ukraine and even China. Biden said Trump unduly threated to withhold aid from Ukraine, when Biden is actually on video bragging about how he made such a direct threat as Vice President. But there’s a whole lot more.
Biden, the mainstream news media, and many left-leaning organizations have taken up the talking point that Trump and his supporters are fascist threats to democracy. Now this is an interesting charge that is in almost every campaign segment voiced by Biden and his team. Yet the truth says the opposite. Since 2016, the Democratic Party and its leadership has done everything it can to undermine what most people believe is American democracy, which in reality is the Constitutional Republic. Think about paying for false charges to be brought up on their key political challenger, using the secret FISA court to get a warrant to spy on him, using the FBI to undermine his candidacy and presidency. EAST MEADOW, N.Y - Former Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi won a closely watched special election for a vacant House seat once held by former Republican Rep. George Santos, who was expelled from the chamber in December.
The Associated Press projected that Suozzi would defeat Republican county lawmaker Mazi Pilip to win back his old job, with the call coming Tuesday night just over an hour after the polls closed.
With the GOP hanging on to a razor-thin majority in the House, national Republicans and Democrats poured big bucks into a race in suburban New York City where immigration and border security, crime, and abortion were the top issues, and where the election was seen as a bellwether ahead of the all-but-certain November White House rematch between President Biden and former President Donald Trump.
"I did call my opponent. I congratulated him," Pilip told supporters at an election night gathering. "We are fighters. Yes, we lost. But it doesn't mean we're going to end here."
Suozzi, speaking a few minutes later at his victory celebration, emphasized that "despite all the attacks and despite all the lies about Tom Suozzi and the squad, about Tom Suozzi being the godfather of the migrant crisis, about sanctuary Suozzi, despite the dirty tricks, despite the vaunted Nassau County Republican machine, we won."
With the Republican majority in the House slipping to 219-213 once Suozzi is sworn in, the pickup by the Democrats now puts the GOP's grip on the chamber further in peril. (Fox News) Read more here.

Dear Prayer Partners,
Just a quick update for now with a more detailed one coming later. The schedule has been very intense and from morning till night, so I regret not being able to write to you before. Here are some things that have happened thus far and what is being planned for the next three days:
1. Global 2033 was a beautiful time with 160 ministry leaders of every stripe who all had a passion for seeing Jesus’ Great Commission accomplished. There were Catholic charismatics, Messianic Jews, a convert from Islam, and of course a good number of Evangelicals. It was a vibrant, worshipful and prayerful event with the focus on the Lord. We also rejoiced in all the reports of how He is raising up many from the Next Gen to serve although a lot more needs to be done with that focus.
They seemed to receive the message the Lord gave me about focusing our prayer and mission efforts on the so often neglected Unreached Peoples, which are the core of Jesus Great Commission. Please pray that they will be gripped to help mobilize themselves and their networks to adopt the remaining 4900+ Frontier People Groups, starting with the largest 300 first.
2. Our team of six, with three Germans and three Americans met with three local prayer ministry leaders who took us to pray over the European Parliament and the Counsel of Europe the first day. They took us around the city of Strasbourg yesterday, giving us so much valuable insight into the history and spiritual importance of this city. We were led first to the Jewish synagogue and the place in the city center where 2000 Jewish men, women and children were burned to death in the year 1349. The anniversary of that horrible event, another holocaust, is today Valentine’s Day. No monument or memorial marks that place except one for World War II. We identified in repentance for His chosen people’s treatment and also prayed for His peace over the continent of Europe.
Another important place we visited and prayed over is the main cathedral where the Queen of Heaven is honored with a crown on her head. This is not Mary, the mother of Jesus but really the Babylonian goddess Ishtar that is a principality across Europe and our world that needs to be bound in Jesus’ name and displaced so that deception and darkness can be driven out and the peoples of this beautiful continent can wake up and return to the Lord. Please pray with us to that end.
Freemasonry and witchcraft are also significant here as well as the 27 mosques that have proliferated here with the arrival of Muslim migrants. Please pray for the city to be set free from the spiritual forces that are represented by these things.
Finally, please pray for the prayer force to grow. I gave their leaders canisters of mustard seeds to encourage the release of explosive faith (Matt. 17:20) for the multiplication of united prayer and the transformation of this historic and beautiful city.
Today, we head to Luxembourg where the European Union also has a major office and to Brussels where the main offices of the EU, the European Commission and their related offices are located. Please pray for His continued strong anointing as we link up with the Belgian intercessors tonight and through Friday.

The United States faces a “serious national security threat,” according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH), who is urging President Biden to declassify all information related to it.
Turner made the announcement on Wednesday in a short and cryptic statement.
“Today, the House Permanent Select committee on Intelligence has made available to all Members of Congress information concerning a serious national security threat,” Turner wrote.
“I am requesting that President Biden declassify all information relating to this threat so that Congress, the Administration, and our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat,” he added.
No other information was made available, but speculation is trickling out on social media. One Democrat source familiar with the threat reportedly told NBC News that this is a “serious issue that could lead to a destabilizing situation and a national security threat,” describing it as a “potential foreign threat.” (Breitbart) Read more here. - Father God, we thank You that this threat has now been exposed, so that we can pray and take appropriate action. We thank You, too, that You do hear every prayer we say; and You do answer, as well.
If the United States is, indeed, in danger, we repent of our sins and ask for Your grace and your mercy to cover us in this hour. We offer this prayer, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
Father, You know the times and the seasons, and You also change the times and the seasons. Lord, we thank You for the work You've done to end the shedding of innocent blood in this land, and we know You still have much work to do. Lord, we ask You to bind any national security threats from being allowed to change or harm Your work in this land, and we ask You to loose the information needed to openly talk about and discuss threats to Your work in this land. We ask these things in the mighty powerful Name of Jesus.

Approaching Hoofbeats: The Signs Of The Times Rapidly Accelerate

I purchased Billy Graham's book, Approaching Hoofbeats, not long after its publication in 1983. I cannot remember all that I thought as I read it forty years ago, but I know the book sparked hope regarding the nearness of the Rapture. As a young pastor at the time, I loved preaching about Bible prophecy and Jesus' appearing.
As I recently skimmed its chapters, the stark differences between then and now leaped off the pages. Some of the signs that four decades ago seemed so indicative of the nearing Rapture pale by comparison to all that we see today.

It's only been in the past six years or so that Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF) have come out of the shadows and revealed their true intentions to the world. They have invited the news media into their once-secret meetings and revealed their true intention to enslave the world under "Build Back Better," which is a euphemism for their intent to create a Marxist, totalitarian world government.
I am definitely not suggesting that Klaus Schwab is the coming "man of lawlessness" as Paul describes in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10. However, he does provide an apt illustration of how the antichrist will gain control of our world under the cloak of promoting peace.
By 1983, I had heard of a group called the "trilateralists" who were pushing for a one-world government at the time. Today, however, the emerging framework for the type of world domination that we read about in the book of Revelation is front and center for everyone to see, yet so few are paying attention to the nearness of the time when the white horse will ride across the earth. 'Mayflower Church' Finds a Home:
TX Church Invites Chinese Refugees to Use Its Facility

After a five-year journey to freedom, the members of a Chinese church who fled persecution from the communist regime found a place to freely worship together after a West Texas congregation opened its doors to them. As CBN News reported, the Christian members of the Shenzhen Holy Reformed Church and their pastor, Pan Yongguang, fled China almost five years ago, first to South Korea and then to Thailand as they sought asylum in the U.S. We visited the congregation in Bangkok in 2022 to tell their story. The group is nicknamed "Mayflower Church" after the English ship that carried Pilgrims to North America in search of religious freedom. The congregation is now worshipping together in the facilities of the First Baptist Church in Midland, Texas, according to the Baptist Standard. On Feb. 4, church members met for the first time for worship and fellowship in the church's youth center. The Midland congregation is making its facilities available to the Mayflower Church three times a week, the outlet reported. "It's a real blessing for us," Pastor Darin Wood of First Baptist Church told Baptist Standard. "Our church has a heart for missions. … This is a further reflection of that."
Dr. Bob Fu, founder, and president of China Aid, was traveling with Pastor Pan when he found out about some Christians who had a 300-acre ranch in the Midland-Odessa area and were willing to make it available as a place the families of the Mayflower Church could live, the outlet reported. An Odessa church also stepped up to help the remaining church members find housing. After the Mayflower congregation relocated to the area late last year, Fu and Pan began seeking a building where the church members could worship. They contacted the leaders of the First Baptist Church in Midland to see if they had anything available for them. "Our youth worship center was not being used on Sundays," Wood told the Baptist Standard. So, he showed the facility to Pan and others from the Mayflower Church. "When they saw it, they broke down and cried. They said they had never had a building to worship in before," he said. "They had always been a house church." - Abba, we thank You for this amazing story of persecuted brothers and sisters being rescued and brought to America! We praise You for providing a place for them to safely worship and we pray for Your hedge of protection over family members in China. Bless the local congregations faithfully serving them as Your hands and feet. We pray these once-persecuted believers will continue to be lead powerfully by Your Holy Spirit, bringing GLORY to God as the congregation grows exponentially and they REJOICE in their freedom to openly worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!
